@ Google search results: when I’m searching for gay pop songs, I am *not* looking for songs where... the singer has denied it’s gay, the straight singer plays gay in the music video, someone has decided the straight singer is a Gay Icon™, or it’s easy to make the subtext queer. I am especially not looking for “lists” where these “gay” songs take up half the space. I’m looking for flat out, explicit, I’m a girl and you’re a girl and I’d like to kiss you in a gay way.
