So I have a question for my fandom nerds and fanfiction people out there. Have you ever read a fic that literally altered your world view or stuck with you for years upon years? If so, what is it and what fandom?

Hello! Have you ever shared a list of your favorite fics? I love your recommendations but can get overwhelmed by the super long list and I always enjoy seeing a curated list of everyone’s faves. Thanks so much!

I've gotten this question before and have the same answer, so I'm afraid I still have no list of my favorite fics.

It’s impossible for me to make any sort of manageable list of my favorite X-Files fics because there are far too many! I couldn’t possibly narrow it down to a few. Basically everything under my fic rec tag is a fic I’d re-read again as a favorite, depending on what length and sort of story I was feeling on any given day.

The fic I’ve certainly read the most over the years is Parabiosis by Penumbra. I mean: They had not saved the world, but they were together, safe and tangled, and he felt her ribcage rising with a tentative sense of peace.
