as a fluffer for a popular porn star, your focus is to keep him hard and performing on set. turns out he's not the only thing that's hard.
i want you to stay by @ahundredtimesover f s a
Working for Jungkook isn’t the same as working for Hoseok. For starters, Jungkook doesn’t smile, he doesn’t appreciate you, and he gives you too much work. It doesn’t help that he’s incredibly handsome and has women at his beck and call. But as the tension grows, it becomes impossible to resist him. You've dedicated yourself to your job for 8 years so when you finally decide to put yourself first, he asks you to reconsider. And while you know that leaving is difficult, you learn that when it comes to Jungkook, staying is always so much harder.

after saving a human prince from being drowned by the sea witch, you’re cursed by that infamous witch to live out the rest of your days as a human—unless you can manage to get true love’s kiss from that very same prince. which would be a simple task, had he not hated you the moment you met.

One of them is your longtime secret crush, while the other is the man with whom you had shared many heated nights filled with lust and forbidden desire, forever kept as your biggest secret of all time. The Jeon Clan is Family, built on blood and loyalty. It’s been an unspoken fact that one day you will marry the heir to the Clan, Jeon Jungkook. You would be a fool to deny that you love him, but what happens when you meet a blue haired man who offers you a chance at normality?

chess of ice by @jimlingss f a
Jeon Jungkook is a rising star, aka. hockey captain of a team heading for the Olympics. The last thing he expects is to begin a whole ‘nother sport, holding a broomstick in his hand, sweeping the ice and throwing dumb stones towards a target. As if that wasn’t bad enough, his love life is about to turn into a game of chess as well....and you’re his opponent.

When a business heir from Busan, Jeon Jungkook, meets you, a poor girl from Daegu, he doesn’t expect to fall as quickly as he does. He’s been told for his entire life to avoid Daegu, a town riddled with gangs and a history of a brutal murder in Busan, but he can’t stay away from you, even when he’s warned that you’re not good enough for him.

Yoongi asks you to help him photograph the university rugby team, and you’re reluctant until you see Jeon Jungkook in uniform. Damn.
cruel intentions by @jeonqukie f s a
All is well in your overtly simplistic life. You managed to maintain decent grades in university all the while progressing through your relationship with your long-time boyfriend and accompanying your best friend in her exhausting personal life. But as the saying goes when there are ups, there will surely be downs. While you’ve maintained this upward pattern, you are defeated when one afternoon inevitably brings you to a downward spiral. All good things must come to an end. Who knew you would be sharing the same sentiment with someone you barely know.

Majoring in athletic training means you have mandatory observation hours to perform with every single sports team at your school throughout the year, and so far it’s been going pretty great. (un)welcomed addition by @shuadotcom f a
After a drunken one night stand with your neighbor, you have your reasons for wanting to forget it ever happened and never talk to him again. Unfortunately, Jungkook wins the award for the world’s worst neighbor so his 3 am wakeup calls and mail stealing have you banging at his door on an almost weekly basis. You just want to make it to the end of your lease so you can leave all the traces of the fuckboy next door behind...unless your feelings get in the way of course.

speaking in bodies by @/yeojaa f s a
The holidays have never meant much to you - less a promise of Christmas morning joy and more a reminder of all the things you’ve lost.  Some would call you a grinch; others, just a plain old asshole.  Jeon Jungkook would call you both.  The more time you spend together, though, the more you thaw, melting beneath the sun that seems to sit right in the centre of his chest.

The way your Little Red Riding Hood costume lured over a fuckboy in a half-assed werewolf costume was a little cliche, but god damn was he beautiful. cold nights & blurred lines by @awrkive f s a
jungkook and you have been in a sexual relationship with each other for four months now, and it’s casual for the most part. but as time passes, you can’t help but feel that some of the lines suddenly got blurred in the process. is it a cliché to blur the lines with your fuck buddy? it definitely is. will you do something about it? both of your emotional constipation have a hard time saying yes.
christmas is waiting for you by @/lamourche f s ft myg (ao3)
Being home for the holidays surrounded by your well-meaning family isn’t that bad. All you have to do is (1) survive the Andersons’ annual Christmas Eve party, (2) avoid all questions about your job, and (3) avoid your high school nemesis (not a crush!), Jeon Jungkook.
lost stars by @/subvk f s a (ao3)
Falling in love with Jeon Jungkook was everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more, but maybe it was exactly that: a dream so blissful and comforting that it was too good to be true, something that could all disappear when the night changes to day, and your eyes open again. Or, making a marriage pact with your best friend was supposed to instill a sense of hope for you, so why does this hurt you more than it should?
a beautiful epiphany by @/subvk f s a (ao3)
Derailed by heartbreak and the loss of inspiration, Jeon Jungkook tries to rediscover his love for art again. As his best friend, you’re willing to do anything to help him reignite his lost passion. Little do you know that the struggling artist’s new muse is closer than you think.

Every December now smells like freshly baked bread and wood to you. Its cold wind brings you memories of him every morning as you are kneading your mixture of water, flour and a pinch of nutmeg – the secret ingredient that makes your bread taste so special. It seeps through the open window of your small kitchen and shakes your entire body. It seeps under your flour-stained apron, getting through your clothes and reminding you of his soft touch. It sounds like forest and shines like snow under the sunlight. It fills your nostrils with familiar scents. Every December now feels like distant memories of a man you once knew, who loved to carve his dreams in wood.

Hi! I’m not sure if you write for the pesky blondes anymore but I loved all your word with them! Could you do one with daughter reader, who tries really hard at school or a sport (like comporting or winning lots of medals) to impress Tommy who is distant with her but end up giving up after a while because he doesn’t pay attention to it? And he only notices because Polly or another family member asks about and she goes “oh, I dropped it.” And they realize why and confront Tommy about it? It can end however you want otherwise, thank you!
AN: Hi, omg can you believe it's been almost 2 years since I last posted something and I have tried to write over the last couple years but I struggled. Anyway, hopefully this is good and you like it as it's been forever since I wrote and it's probably ooc since I haven't watched PB in forever either.

Born years before the war to a mother that died shortly after, and her father sent away to the war when she was still a child, YN’s relationship with her father was almost non-existent. She was too young to have any memories of him before he left and when he returned, he wasn’t the same man, a shell of his former self.
She had been mostly raised by her Aunt Polly even after her father and uncles return from the war and her father had his moments of trying to be involved with her life but those moments never lasted long, usually inspired by some near death moment that reminded him of the preciousness of life before he pulled himself into some other sort of all encompassing drama that had him disappearing from her life for months on end.
YN was eager for her fathers acknowledgment, not even approval but the mere recognition of her existence and so she decided to try and prove herself to him, to show how smart and what a good daughter she was.
Things changed when Charlie was born and her father married Grace but once again that didn’t last once Grace died as her father disappeared once again and she was left at Arrow House with her baby brother and the house staff and so she focused on helping the staff with Charlie and studying hard at school, getting some of the highest grades in her year but even that did not capture the attention of her father and so she tried something else.
⋅───⊱༺ ♰ ༻⊰───⋅
“Horseback riding?” Her father glanced up at her from his seat behind his grand desk in his office.
“They offer it to year ten and I thought…” YN nodded, referencing the expensive elite private school that her father sends her to.
Her father pursed his lips and sighed, “You have more than one bloody horse out there…”
YN glanced out of her window to the vast paddocks and fields that surrounded Arrow House before turning her focus back to her father, “It’s not the same father. You rarely allow me to take Sweetcorn or Biscuit out for rides and you certainly don’t allow me to have a hand in their care but at school I’ll learn how to ride and compete with them along with taking care of them”
Her fathers gaze was heavy but she did not buckle under its weight.
”And what about your other classes? Tennis, ballet, swimming, golf…”
YN paused at the mention of the extra classes she was participating in, not even realizing her father knew but she guessed that since he was paying for everything he had to.
“Well, I’ve been managing with my classes so far, what’s one more” YN shrugged, shooting her father almost a sheepish smile
Tommy watched her for a few more moments before he sighed and signed her permission slip before holding it out for her, “If this is what you wish”
YN grabs the slip with a thankful smile, hoping that this is what will hopefully get her father to become more involved in her life.
”Thank you, father”
⋅───⊱༺ ♰ ༻⊰───⋅
YN scanned the crowds looking for her father, her eyes darting from left to right, eyes peeled wide open as if it would help her find the brooding brummie but to no avail, but she did see her younger brother, her aunt and her uncles all cheering from her in the stands not far her and while she smiled and waved back at them her heart sunk at the non-appearance of her father.
Here she was at a national competition, competing against the best in the country, yet her father was nowhere to be seen. A whole year of hard practice, six days a week along with juggling her other sports and school, to try and impress her father and he hadn’t even bothered to show his face.
Feeling eyes on her, YN looked around and found her aunts scrutinising eyes on her and so not to arouse suspicion, YN swallowed the bitter taste in her mouth and sent her aunt a smile that she was sure that the older woman did not believe for a single moment, before turning around and heading to her stall where her trainer was waiting for her.
Two hours later and still no sign of her father, YN stood at the top of the podium with her trophy in one hand, bouquet in the other and a grin forced on her face after she won and she kept her eyes on her younger brother, on his bright smile and loud cheers and not on the space that should contain their absent father.
⋅───⊱༺ ♰ ༻⊰───⋅
Christmas Day at Arrow House was always a grand event with all of YN’s uncles, aunts and cousins travelling to Warwickshire on Christmas Eve to start their annual celebration and though YN was quite a bit older than her cousins, she enjoyed spending time with them anyway.
The whole family sat around the large table in the dining room, everybody talking over each other and YN was brought out of conversation with her aunt Ada by her aunt Polly asking a seemingly innocent question.
”YN, when is your next ballet recital? The last one was a joy to watch.”
YN took a nervous sip of her water before she answered, “Oh, I um stopped ballet.”
Polly look at her in surprise as Esme chimed in,
“Oh with all the extracurriculars you do I’m surprised you managed to keep up with everything at once”
“I dropped those too…I’ve dropped all my sports.” YN murmurs, “Figured it’s best to focus on school and my studies only”
All of the adults at the table had overheard what she had said and were in an uproar. It was well known how much YN loved her sports and competing, so to hear that she was suddenly quitting made no sense.
”Whaddya mean 'quitting'?!" Arthur asked, his voice carrying loudly.
”Well good exam results will take me to university, so I’ve decided to focus on that only” YN tried to explain.
”You’ve never had any problems with balancing it before, why now?” Polly asked.
YN’s eyes flicker up to her fathers face, no-one catching it other than her aunt Polly.
”Classes are getting harder”
That’s all YN had to say before she changed the conversation topic to something other than her.
⋅───⊱༺ ♰ ༻⊰───⋅
Polly made her way into Tommy’s late into the night that evening, knowing the man barely slept and would be up and in his office.
“Are you planning on talking to your daughter?” Polly asked as she settled in the seat opposite her nephew.
Tommy raised a curious eyebrow as he poured his aunt a glass of whiskey and passed it over to her, “About?”
“Quitting all of her sports…?”
”Yeah well you heard her, she wants to focus on school”
Polly huffs a disbelieving sigh, disappointed in Tommy,
”When was the last time you saw that girl struggling with her workload hmm? Not to mention the countless amount of times she’s helped out with Charlie on top of everything else she does”
Tommy paused at her words, realising that he hasn’t really paid YN any attention recently.
“When was the last time you even went to one of her shows, competitions or award shows hm?” Polly drilled him, “This girl of yours is amazing and you’re ignoring her Tommy”
“I’m not ignoring her!” Tommy became defensive, “She almost an adult, she can do what she wants”
”Don’t you see it?!” Polly’s patience wears thin as she snaps at her nephew, “You barely spent any time with her when she was a mere child and still now you don’t! You hardly know the girl while she’s stretching herself thin trying to prove herself and you don’t even pay her enough attention to realise!”
Tommy was left speechless at the rightful telling off he had received as after all, Polly was correct.
Tommy barely spent time with YN when she was younger and as the years went by he spent even less. Stilted conversations over dinner was their relationship and he had no one but himself to blame.
“I-I didn’t…” Tommy stumbled over his words as he tried to settle the thousands of thoughts that were racing through his mind, “I didn’t think to…”
Polly stood up and faced her nephew, “This is your last chance. After tonight, the door that she has kept open for many years will be closed and locked with the key thrown away. You have one chance Tommy, do not squander it.”
With that, Polly left Tommy’s office, hoping that her words spurred him into action.
Tommy didn’t wait long before he was speeding out of his office and darting upstairs to his daughters room hoping and praying that she was still awake and when he knocked on her door and she called him in, the slightest of weights was lifted off of his shoulders.
“It’s me,” He announced, poking his head past her door.
Surprise flashed over YN’s face as his appearance as she beckoned him in, sitting up straighter as she placed the book she was reading to the side.
“Is something wrong?”
“I wanted to speak about what happened at dinner” Tommy took a seat on the edge of YN’s bed, “About you dropping your extra classes”
“It’s nothing” YN tried to dismiss it. “Just thought I should focus on school more so I can get into a good university, that's all”
“YN, you’re the smartest person I know” For the first time in a long time, Tommy spoke to YN one to one, in hopes that this conversation will be the first step in repairing their relationship, “Not only that but you are the most talented and hardworking person I know.”
YN paused for a moment after he finished before she spoke up, “Yet you never attended an award ceremony or performance or competing…how am I meant to know how you feel? …I did all of this to get a sliver of your attention, always hoping that one, just one of the many things I laden myself with would finally be the thing that’ll make you pay attention to me and you can’t even be bothered to show when it matters”
“I know nothing I can say to fix what I have done but all I ask for is one more chance and most of all, don’t give up on the things you love, not for me, not for anyone. Ever.”
Tommy knew words would not mend the hurt he has caused his daughter over the years but he hoped that she would give him this one last chance to fix it through his actions and behaviour.
YN takes a deep breath and nods, “One last chance”

There’s that scene in The Princess Diaries when they are choosing a possible husband out of a slide show for Mia. You used to find it funny when you were younger and made jokes to your parents that you want to do it too. They laughed, but exchanged a look you didn’t understand back then.
Now you do.
There are two requirements you need to meet to take the throne. The first one is to be at least 25 years old. That box has been ticked for three years now, the real problem is the second one. Because as outdated that law in the movies was, it is your reality. You have to be married, you can’t take the throne without a man.
As a teenager you didn’t think much of it, because you pictured yourself to meet a handsome prince, marry him and then become queen, easy as it is. But as you grew older and dating was proven to be impossible as a princess, anxiety and panic started to set in that you’d end up in an arranged marriage just to become eligible for ruling Eroda.
Then came Harry, you fell for him and he fell for you, but it just complicated things even more, because he is not from royal blood, not even close to being an aristocrat, therefore you can never marry him.
For the past few years most of the social events you’ve attended had a not so hidden second purpose: finding a husband.
Never ending rounds of introductions to single men, awkward chatting that ended up in asking you out on a date that you declined politely most of the time, followed by a sermon from your father about needing to settle soon, because he is not getting younger and you need to be eligible for the throne as soon as possible. You always tried your best to just ignore him, but ever since you and Harry have become an item secretly it’s been extremely hard to hold your tongue and not tell him that you have found the man you want to spend the rest of your life with, but he can’t be king, because he is your guard.
It’s such an impossible situation and you have no idea where it’s going to lead.
Now it’s another one of those occasions, the opening of the Spring Festival is just another opportunity to fill up the palace’s ballroom with all kinds of single men from around the country and even outside as well.
You know people are filling up the room already while you’re still in your suite. Your hair is done, makeup perfect, wearing a gown that costs probably way more than you feel comfortable with, but you’re never informed about how expensive your outfits are.
You’ll be announced in about fifteen minutes, walk down the stairs for the millionth time and start your rounds. You’d rather jump out the window than to meet all those people, but you have no choice.
There’s a knock on the door.
“Come in!” you call out and you see Harry step inside from the mirror. He is wearing his usual black suit, looking polished and threatening at the same time, but not to you. You see the man he is behind his thick walls, because there’s a door on that wall, just for you, wide open.
The door clicks behind him and he watches you turn around, his gaze runs down the length of your body and then up to your face again.
“Should I change?” you ask, arching an eyebrow at him teasingly.
“Do you want the honest or the brutally honest answer?”
Your lips stretch into a smile as you start to cross the room slowly, walking towards him while he remains standing in his spot.
“Both. The honest first.”
“You look stunning,” he replies, his eyes soft and loving. You stop just a few inches away from him.
“And the brutally honest one?”
There’s a short pause, you catch his eyes slip down to your chest and waist again before returning.
“I want to lock you in here and not let you close any men out there. I wish I could mark you mine.”
He knows how to turn you on within seconds with just a few words. He knows so well how much you like it when he gets possessive, ready to show it to the world that you belong to him and only him.
A shaky breath leaves your lips and just when you reach up to grab him by his neck there’s another knock on the door. forcing you to take a step back instead.
“Come in!” you answer when there’s enough distance between you and Harry, though your heart is still pounding in your chest as if it’s about to jump out and right into Harry’s hands.
Head of security, Clarke steps into the suite.
“Her Royal Highness, you’re expected to appear in ten minutes,” he informs you with a polite nod.
“Styles just arrived to walk me over. Thank you.”
The two men exchange a look before Clarke walks out. Taking a deep breath you turn to face Harry.
“Ready?”
“Sure,” you huff, earning a tiny smirk from him before he opens the door, but as you walk past him he stops you just for a split second to whisper into your ear.
“Mine,” is all he says and you keep walking as if that one word didn’t just make your knees wobble.
You use the walk to the ballroom to get your thoughts straight and not imagine how Harry would peel you out of this dress if you had some privacy…
They announce you and  every pair of eyes are glued to you as you walk down the stairs and join the crowd. Endless rounds of introduction, the smile is frozen on your face and your feet are already sore from the heels, but you ignore the pain.
It always amazes you how uninteresting the men you meet are. How they can’t hold a conversation that doesn’t make you claw your eyes out. Thirty seconds into the chit-chat and you’re already planning your escape usually.
Tonight however there is one exception.
His name is Magnus, some kind of relative of the Swedish royal family, you don’t really care to be honest. At first he seemed just another one of the boring puppets, but he soon proved to actually have a personality and your status didn’t stop him from showing it.
His almost inappropriate, a bit risky jokes are what keep you sane tonight. He just knows what makes you laugh and he has a great timing dropping his silent comments that are only meant for you.
“I think I’ll have a little break,” you tell him after a rather long conversation with some old baron you know you’ve seen a couple of times already, but can’t remember his name, only that he is always oddly curious about the neckline of your dress.
“I’ll be around here, dodging questions about my father’s political choices.”
You smile with a nod and then look around to find Harry. He is not far away, by a window, his eyes already glued to you when you make your way towards him.
“Bathroom break,” you announce to him with a smile, expecting to see that hidden glimmer in his eyes as usual, because this is always the time when you steal a few intimate moments, but he is different now. Something is off.
He nods without a word and escorts you out of the room. In those few minutes you go back to your suite you try to figure out what could have happened since you parted ways that could upset him this much. As always, he opens the door for you, one guard stays outside and he comes in with you.
He plants himself by the door, his hands clasped together in front of him as he keeps a straight face.
“What’s wrong?” you ask.
He looks at you just for a second before turning his gaze towards the window, his jaw flexes and your worry just grows, you haven’t seen him this upset in a long time.
“Nothing is wrong,” he answers, but you both know it’s not true.
“I’m gonna ask you one more time, Harry. Just once more. What is wrong?”
Slowly, his eyes move back to you and for a moment, you forget to breathe, they’re so intense and darker than ever, as if all that gorgeous greenness is gone from them.
“Your little date must be waiting for you, better hurry.”
Amusement settles on your face and you can’t stop yourself from letting a laugh slip out.
“That’s your problem? Magnus?” His lips twitch at his name, but he doesn’t reply. “Harry, you know this is what’s expected from me. I have to pretend like I want to get to know the men out there.”
“I bet you didn’t have to pretend much when he came into the picture.”
“What are you talking about?!” you let out another frustrated laugh. You know he tends to get jealous, but you’ve never seen this side of him before.
“You seemed to enjoy his company a lot out there.”
“Because he is not a boring asshole like most of the men I’m usually introduced to.”
“Great. You two will look good as king and queen.”
You know he doesn’t mean it, that he is just pissed and feels helpless in our situation, but in this moment you simply can’t see over the nasty fog of anger.
“Oh you think so too? I agree,” is all you say before you march into your bathroom and shut the door closed.
There’s no more talking as you walk back to the ballroom, but even the blind could see the tension between the two of you. You catch the other guard that came with you giving Harry a puzzled look, but he didn’t dare to ask.
“Magnus!” you call out to him, making your way straight to him upon arriving when you spot him by a table. You can feel Harry’s burning gaze on your back, but tonight you’re in the mood to be petty.
“Your Royal Highness, you’re back!” he smiles brightly.
He is handsome, that’s for sure. Has great manners and an even greater sense of humor. The more you talk to him the more you think that you might be able to develop feelings for him in some years, or at least enough to live beside him in peace.
But those feelings would never live up to the love and passion you have for Harry.
You’re still angry at him, for how childish he was and thought that anyone could stand a chance when he’s in your life.
As the evening carries on your anger eases, though you’re still upset with him, you just want to be alone with him finally, touch him, kiss him, hear him call your name.
Magnus asks you out at the end of the night and you politely decline, he doesn’t seem offended, maybe a bit disappointed, but he masks it well. You say your rounds of goodbye and then finally make your way back to your suite, Harry walking right beside you.
The tension has somewhat lessened, but the vibes are still not the usual. You can’t tell what he’s thinking, if he is still as upset as before or he has cooled down, his face is so blank it irks you. Arriving at the suite you look at him, searching for any sign or feeling in his eyes, but they look back at you completely empty. So you walk in and lock yourself in your bathroom with trembling lips.
Normally Harry would sneak in later at night, but this time you don’t expect him to show up. Hoping to burn the feelings tonight left behind, you take a hot bath and try to carry on as if nothing happened, even though Harry is all you can think about.
Is it possible this is how things will end between the two of you? That this stupid little jealousy game is enough to pull you apart? You start to spiral heavily when you step out of the steamed up bathroom, but all your thoughts disappear the moment you notice you’re not alone.
Harry is sitting on the edge of your bed, still wearing his suit from tonight, but his black tie is gone and the top few buttons are undone on his perfectly white shirt. Unsure about where you’re standing and if he is still angry at you for the whole Magnus thing, you just stop halfway over to the bed, wrapped only in a silky robe.
For a while he just sits there, staring at you, silent and unreadable and right when you’re about to speak, he stands up and starts walking towards you, slowly, his eyes locked with yours. You’re waiting for him to say something, maybe lash out on you, or apologize, practically anything, because his silence is pure torture.
He stops right in front of you, if you took a deep breath your chest would be touching his, but he is still just staring down at you without a single word.
And you break.
“Harry, I–”
He doesn’t let you finish, instead, his lips smash against yours, one hand on the back of your neck, the other one grabbing your jaw as he moves forward, pushing you to move with him until your back hits the wall, his whole body pressed against you as he kisses you like never before.
He’s been rough with you before, but not like this. He is devouring your lips with the raw passion he had to hold back all evening, watching you parade around with another man while he wished he could show everyone in the room who you belong to.
You both are in a rush, he is practically tearing your robe off your body while you’re ridding him of his clothes in a frenzy. You don’t even get to pull his shirt off entirely and his pants are just pooling around his ankles when brings your legs around his waist and thrusts his throbbing cock into you, only to freeze once he’s buried deep inside you.
You both gasp, lips smearing against each other as you stare back at each other, savoring the feeling of being as physically close as possible finally. The events of tonight have turned, they are now a force between the two of you, pulling you closer and closer until you’re melted together as one.
You grab his face, tightening your legs around his waist as you breathe his name into his mouth before he starts moving.
He starts off slow, but he is quick to fasten his pace, your gasps fill the room and you’re thankful your whole suite is soundproof, just like almost all rooms in the palace. It’s the only reason why you could have been in a similar situation in the library, the guest room in the west wing and your study.
You’re tugging his hair and clawing at his back while he pounds into you relentlessly. At one point, most likely to muffle his moans, he bites into your shoulder and you faintly feel him sucking on the skin, but you’re just too gone to even realize what he is doing.
He is kissing you so hard your teeth are clashing as he comes, his movements fall out of his fast paced rhythm for a bit, but then he keeps going for you.
“Come on, baby. Give it to me, come on my cock,” he urges you, knowing you’re close too. “I know you’re there, I can feel you so tight around my cock, just give it to me.”
A few more rough thrust and you’re whining out his name, your orgasm spreading through your whole body in waves. He fucks you through it and only stops when he’s sure you’ve given him everything.
You stay like that, his cock buried inside you, his body pressing you up against the wall, foreheads resting against each other as you both try to catch your breath. When he pulls back you follow his eyes to your shoulder and see the reddish-purple mark he left on you.
“Fuck, I’m sorry,” he breathes out as he lets your legs down, your feet returning to the floor but he keeps an arm around your waist, knowing you probably don’t have much energy to stand on your own, his other hand comes up to your shoulder and he runs his fingers over the mark.
“It’s fine, I have makeup that covers anything,” you smirk at him. Secretly, you wish he’d let himself loose like this more often, you love seeing his mark on yourself.
You catch his face falling before he speaks again.
“And I’m sorry for tonight.”
You couldn’t be angry at him anymore, not even if you tried. The tenderness is back in his eyes and he is the Harry you love so much again.
“I’m sorry too.”
“No, you have nothing to apologize for,” he shakes his head. “You did nothing wrong, just… talked to a guy whose company was nice, after all those events full of assholes you always have to put up with. I was… jealous, because he got to be with you the way I want to.”
It stings in your chest, his confession hits hard now that it was said out loud, even though deep down you knew he felt like that, because you did too. You wished it could have been him.
With a gentle touch, you take his face between your hands and pull him in for a soft kiss.
“I know you know it, just probably forget it sometimes, but I’ll say it. No matter who they try to set me up with or how many princes and barons they throw into my way, I will only love and belong to you. Now and forever.”
You intentionally use his words and it seems to strengthen the message, you notice the tears in his eyes and you feel your throat closing up as well when you pull him in for another kiss, this time it’s longer and more passionate. You can taste his words on his tongue: I love you too.
When he pulls back you see the glimmer in his eyes, but then they disappear in a second.
“What’s wrong?” He shakes his head. “Harry, talk to me, please,” you beg him, pushing his hair back.
“It’s just… You’ll have to marry one day. You can’t be queen without marrying someone and I… I can’t be…”
He doesn’t want to say it out loud, as if it would make it more real, even though it’s as real as it could get.
“We’ll figure it out. I promise,” you tell him, running the pad of your thumb over his eyebrow, as if you wanted to memorize every feature of his face. When he looks into your eyes you know he doesn’t believe you, but he just nods. You don’t want to let him go like this, to end tonight on such a bitter note. “So… you’d want to marry me? You’re saying you would willingly have me as your wife?”
You see the switch in his eyes and the way the corners of his mouth curl up makes you lightheaded in a second.
“Did I say that?”
“You very much implied, yes,” you grin at him. “I’m surprised you’d want to put up with my big mouth and attitude, you get the most of them, because I can’t act up in public. Wouldn’t you get fed up with me after a while?” you ask teasingly.
“Mm, don’t let it get to your head, but I love your big mouth and attitude.” Leaning down his lips are now brushing against yours, but he is not kissing you just yet. “Especially… your mouth and everything it can do,” he adds in a whisper before finally sucking on your bottom lip.
He pulls you away from the wall and starts walking you towards the bed and you just smile widely against his mouth as you willingly move with him until you both fall into your bed and make the best out of the little time he gets to spend with you before he needs to sneak out.

authors note: I haven't written for Alex in a long time and I have to say out of all of the 500 celly pieces that were left needing to be writte, this was one of the ones I most looked forward to. Luke and Trevor in this might have been my favourite things to write.
Tumblr media
You were always meant to just be Cole’s little sister.
The one who tried so desperately to join in on those late night games of pool that the boys had in the basement. The one who remained Cole’s biggest supporter throughout his career and the events leading up to it.
You were meant to be this untouchable entity that he had promised to protect with his life as you settled into LA. Now ten months in with you living down the hall in his apartment, Alex was ready to butcher that promise entirely.
Not because he wanted to put you into harms way, but instead because he was craving your company in a way that would make Cole put him six feet under. Alex found you changing from his best friend’s little sister, who he remembered with braces and those godawful comebacks when Cole pushed your buttons. Now you were freshly twenty and in the thick of college, and a full on woman. Possibly not in the form of experiences but you had grown into your body and now had this fiery personality.
You made Alex feel weak in the knees 9/10 times but as time went on, he knew he was fucked. Because for him, you were all that he wanted.
So with the constant thought of Cole literally killing him, Alex started to pull away from you about three months ago. Sure he couldn’t make it too obvious as he still had to live under the same roof as you, but he started to realise that it was a lot easier if he spent nights away from you. Having a girl in his bed that wasn’t you, made it just bearable to push you out of his mind. And it helped that you were close to finishing your semester.
It was a plan that actually managed to work, or at least it did until the both of you ended up at the lake house, where the risks increased tenfold when you seemed to only pack swimsuits. This year Luke had invited you along as your brothers spent so much time together, it was only right that the two of you eventually became friends “Lukey!” Your cheered seeing the boy walk out of the house.
His grin matched yours as he practically raced down the stairs, leaving his brother’s friends up on the porch “took you damn long enough.” He laughed pulling you into a hug “yeah don’t worry bout me, I’ll get all your damn bags.” Cole grumbled, breaking your hug as you tuned to look at your brother.
There was a shit-eating look on your face “since you asked so nicely.” You joked taking your bag from the older boy.
Alex stood on the porch as his eyes turned to a scowl watching the scene unfold in front of him. He was jealous of the fact that you seemed to be so free when you hugged Luke. The smile on your face as the boy nodded along to whatever you whispered in his ear “missed me Turcotte?” You teased now stood in front of your roommate.
The familiar scent of your perfume was captured in his nostrils as he shook his head “please I get to now sit in silence.” His words were cheerful as you reached over to flick his arm with a scoff.
It was masked by a grin that spread across your face “know ya missed me.” Your voice was soft as you pulled him into a hug, he knew it was wrong but he couldn’t help but want to moan at the smell of your familiar shampoo.
The very same shampoo that he had used the last three weeks before he left the apartment because of how much he had missed you. Cole gagged at the sight “you want to let go of each other, or should we just stand out here all day?” His question made Trevor smirk as he saw how Alex’s cheeks turned red when he let his arms drop from around you as you rolled your eyes “don’t be jealous your friends like me more than you.” You were amused as Cole put his sweaty hat on your head which made you groan.
That made the boy laugh “it’s good to be back!” Cole cheered as he walked into the house.
Luke walked up and grabbed your bag from you “we are in a new room this time.” He was excited to show the girl the room as this year they weren’t fighting the other guys for the bathroom this year.
Trevor kept Alex on the porch as the rest of the group trickled inside. He had seen how Alex’s eyes didn’t seem to leave you until you turned to go upstairs “you sure you aren’t sleeping with her?” The question made the hairs on the back of Alex’s neck stand up. It was something that the Ducks player had joked about more than once after he had seen you in one of Alex’s old Kings hoodies when you all went to dinner. What he refused to believe was the fact that you were cold, and it was the only thing that was in Alex’s car.
But as Alex stayed silent it made the younger boy think that he was right “I don’t give a shit.” Trevor confessed as he was just more curious as to if he was indeed right or not “I just don’t think that it would be the best thing if Cole found out.” Alex felt his cheeks turn red at the idea of Cole finding out. Because if Trevor connected the wrong dots, then who was to say someone wouldn’t connect the right ones?
Alex shook his head “I am not sleeping with her.” He mumbled wishing that he could have been lying as he said that.
You were reminded of the joy of being with your best friend as he shut the door behind you both “you finally tell him?” Luke asked as he sat on his bed.
He had known about the crush you had on Alex since you confessed to him about how you had a wet dream about the Kings player when he was thankfully on a roadie. Luke was able to remind you that it was a one-time thing, but then it became more like a weekly thing before you accepted that you definitely had feelings for him.
Luke had been convincing you that you needed to tell him about it before it was all too late, “I can’t,” you sighed, letting yourself drop onto the bed next to him “my friend found his profile on hinge, and he keeps on going on these dates.” You groaned, kicking your legs as Luke lay flat next to you.
The boy stared at the frown on your face “either tell him about how you want to rip his clothes off-“ his words were cut off when you grabbed the pillow from next to you and hit him with it.
It made him laugh as he took the pillow and propped himself up with it “you didn’t have to say it verbatim.” He shot back, looking at your suitcase, “and if you don’t want to say it, then encourage him to be the one to do it.” Luke added, bending down to show you exactly what he had planned.
It was day three of your time at the lake house and Alex hadn’t been able to interact with you much. Not out of choice though, because every time he wanted to talk to you Cole seemed to step in. And earlier that morning a boy from down the road seemed to pique your interest.
His name might have been Brad, Chad, Thad or whatever, really. Alex just knew that he didn’t like the boy or how his eyes seemed to be stuck on your breasts. That part Alex couldn’t exactly blame him for because you knew how to pick a great bikini, but Alex at least knew you were so much more than just a good body. And that was something that this boy definitely didn’t appreciate.
The boys had finally left the house as they were going to a bar “you should come with.” The offer was sent with a smile but was cut short “sorry dude, we’re in the middle of a darts tournament.” Alex’s voice came from behind you.
That was true, the last few evenings the guys had found that a game of darts was a great little competition “why don’t you just get Luke to stand in for you.” The boy in front of you ignored Alex “I’ve got bad aim.” Luke was definitely the worst out of all of you but you weren’t about to leave the boys.
When you let out a sigh Alex knew you were staying “maybe some other night?” You offered, which made the boy nod. Alex wanted to cheer as he saw ChadBrad, whom he now opted to refer to leave the house.
Luke sent you a smile before he walked away from you both “you two seem to be close?” Alex was certain he knew the answer, but still he asked the question “he is a nice guy Al.” You shrugged as you placed your hands on your hips.
This felt like the longest you two had properly spoken since your arrival “you feeling neglected by me?” Alex wanted to scream, of course, but he opted to remain stoic “of some frat boy?” He forced out a laugh as he watched you lick your lips.
At that moment, he was so close to dropping his head to kiss that smirk off of your face “Turcs, you want a new beer?” Trevor called out as he walked into the room almost cutting himself off as he looked at the sight with a grin on his face “can get you something too if you want it.” His eyes locked with yours as you shook your head.
Your hand brushed against Alex’s side “I think Luke has my drink Z.” You nodded your head at him before you left the boys.
It took him until you were no longer in earshot to turn back to Alex “if you’re not sleeping with her then you like her.” He finally connected the dots as his eyes lit up “shush!” Alex placed his hand on the younger boys mouth.
When it seemed that Trevor wasn’t going to talk anymore Trevor ran his tongue across his friend’s palm “ew!” Alex shrieked, almost jumping away when he wiped his hand on his shorts “you’re fucking disgusting.”  Alex grumbled as he shook his head.
Trevor just smirked in response “take it she doesn’t know about it?” He asked as Alex scoffed “of course she doesn’t!” He went to hit him but when Cole walked into the lounge area making them both freeze.
Cole raised his eyebrows as he watched them both turn to him “you two are so weird.” Cole muttered to himself before he shook his head, turning back to go where he came from “you can’t tell anyone.” Alex warned Trevor knowing that all the boys could soon hear about it.
He raised his hands in defence “my lips are sealed.” Trevor was honest as he said “all I ask is that if you end up dating her just let me be the godfather to your future babies.” The words made Alex groan as Trevor patted him on the back before he was left alone.
The rest of that evening was calm, but by the next day Alex was ready to kill Trevor for the constant looks “how much are you putting in, sis?” Cole called out as you walked out of the sliding doors.
You looked up from your phone as you smiled “for what?” You cocked your head seeing Quinn hold a notepad and pen “we are all betting on who is going to be the most drunk tonight.” He explained as you let out a soft laugh.
The Fourth of July always seemed to be the day that everyone got flat-out drunk at the lakehouse. People played music till the early hours of the next morning, and drinking was a great partner to dancing till your feet hurt.
Your fingers rubbed together “I’ll put twenty on Cole.’ You watched as your brother’s face dropped, acting as if you had just spoiled the ending of Game of Thrones again.
Quinn nodded, writing down your bet “let me get my wallet so I can cash in on this.” You grinned sending Cole a wink “I want to change my bet to be on her.” Was the last thing you heard before you went back into the house.
The place was empty with few reminders of last night’s dart game on the table as they had turned a shot glass into a miniature trophy for Quinn.
You walked out of the car wanting to grab your handbag “look dude I’m telling you I know what I am doing.” The boy you had been talking to was on the phone by his own car “I am gonna get her to fuck me by the end of the night, and then I’ll leave her.” His words made you freeze as you knew he was talking about you.
But it didn’t stop there “being around all those guys she has got to be easy.” You had finally had enough as you turned around to go back inside.
You walked straight into a chest that you recognised from many early mornings, rushing to get ready for lectures. Alex had been behind you after he saw you frozen on the porch when he went to grab his own wallet. Based on his reaction, he too, had heard the majority of what you had “sorry.” Your words were soft as you dropped the keys on the porch and pushed past him to go back into the house.
Alex leaned down to pick them up as he knew what you needed to grab “what an asshole.” Sure, Alex loved being right, but at the point of you being hurt, he would have wished that maybe this time he was wrong.
You knew you were stupid for getting all upset about Micheal telling his friends that he thought he would get into your pants before the end of the night “there you are.” Alex let out a sigh as he saw you hidden between your bed and Luke’s “just wanted some quiet.” You confessed as you pursed your lips together making the boy frown when he placed your bag on your bed.
He could see the hurt that laced your face “he doesn’t know what he is talking about.” Alex mumbled making turn to look him in the eye.
An irritated laugh escaped your lips “maybe he should have been.” You grumbled as you turned to finally face him “no any guy would be fucking lucky to have you.” He walked towards you but you still shook your head.
The hockey player watched as you rubbed your face with your hands “you’re only saying that because you’re friends with Cole and are my roommate.” After all, it would have been a little weird if he agreed with the boy in front of you and with your brother steps away.
But still, he moved to sit in front of you “have you ever wondered why I started going on those dates when you broke up with your boyfriend?” Alex stood in front of you as you remained silent “cause it sure as hell wasn’t me trying to avoid you.” He laughed at the joke that you had created.
You crossed your arms still showing that you were irritated “you are on my mind all the damn time and it kills me.” The hockey player grabbed your hand and opened his legs to pull you closer to him “don’t say things you don’t mean Al.” Your voice was soft as your facial expressions softened.
His head dropped to rest on the crook of your neck “I’m so fucking in love with you it makes me sick.” His words made your body squirm as you ran your fingers through his hair letting out a giggle.
It made him look up at you with a confused look on his face “me telling you my feelings is funny?” He grumbled wanting to send you a glare.
You brought your hand up to cup his cheek “thought you knew I broke up with him cause I started thinking bout you.” A smile formed on his face as he stood up straight “damn my girl is already smitten.” He teased as you rolled your eyes.
The sound of fireworks having started already echoed in your ears “don’t remember that happening Turcotte.” Your words made him click his tongue “so you didn’t want to rip all my clothes off?” He teased making you realise that he had heard that conversation with Luke.
His smirk made you scoff “careful because I can go find Micheal still.’ You warned making him furrow his eyebrows “who?” He asked as if he had never heard that name in his life.
Your jaw fell agape “the fucking dude who said I’d be a good fuck tonight!” Your words made his eyes go wide “thought his name was Brad.” You laughed as you shook your head “Idiot.” You mumbled, leaning back in to kiss him again.
Your cherry lipgloss was sweet on his tongue as he gripped at your sides “has anyone seen my sister?” Cole’s words echoed through an open window as the two of you were reminded that you weren’t alone.
The older boy pulled away from you as he smiled “think we should get you out there.” Alex tapped your ass as you gasped, “but first let me enjoy the peace with my girl once more.” He pulled you back into his arms knew this wasn’t a sight he was going to get used to.
But as time went on and the relationship grew, and of course Cole tried to kill Alex many times. Alex believed that your relationship was built on the moment when it all became official.
You swore he was sickly cheesy each time he spoke of the story, but Alex saw your relationship as fireworks. You made him feel the joys of each high and low, and it helped that you kept him in check because you’ve got a damn fiery tongue.
But Alex wouldn’t have had it any other way, because he was in love with you and he wouldn’t have believed in soulmates if he didn’t have you. Because in the puzzle that was his life, you made him feel complete.
And it wasn’t to say that he wasn’t just as in love with you as you were with him because Alex would have followed you to the ends of the earth if you asked him to.

On My Side (NH13)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Nico "I think the hockey gods were on my side" Hischier x Fem!OC Poppy
WC: 6k
part of the On Your Side universe
*This is a bonus chapter set after the ending of the overall fic, and can be read as a standalone if you haven't read the fic, but if you want to understand their dynamic and Poppy's personality a little more, you should!!!
Description: 18+ MDNI, Nico comes home to Poppy after scoring his first ever career hat-trick for the Devils. Way more fluff than smut but Nico is down bad as always.
A/N: You're all a bunch of enablers and that's all I have to say on the matter!!! Hope this fills the void while I continue to struggle with chapter ten lmao there is mention of Baby Cheeto in here but no spoilers for her name. Nico calls her Bug as a nickname, like _____-Bug, Chäferli (little bug) or just Bug for short, but it isn't her actual name. I can't use Cheeto forever lmao. I was literally trying to think of a title and remembered he said the words "on my side" WHAT IF I TOLD YOU HE'S A MASTERMIND he's an oys!truther if I ever saw one! Painfully obsessed with Poppy if you ask me. Also the way Cheeto would rock the heck out of this it's so cute I had to share
Tumblr media
Nico Hischier likes to think he’s a patient man.
Finally scoring his first career hat-trick after 8 years in the NHL, after 476 games played with the Devils, would be the ultimate testament to that.
Doing so in the first ever game with his daughter in attendance - on home turf, his mother and Poppy holding her up in the family suite during warm-ups in her little Devils teddy sleeper that he can only just make out from down on the ice, but has his rampant heart beating out of his chest all the same - has him thinking that maybe, after all those years, after all those games, the stars had been aligning for him the whole time.
And it was that sort of patience he had tried to tune into since the end of the second period, when he knew Poppy had left early to try skip traffic and get their little girl home safe for bed.
It’s what he tries to channel in the aftermath of the game, swarmed by reporters in the locker room, trying to remain polite and professional, not rushing them through their questions or giving half-assed answers - knowing he owes a lot more than that to the organisation that has allowed him to get this far. Trying to save just a speck of energy to give when he finally gets home, collapsing into the warm embrace of the girls he knows are waiting patiently for him.
It’s what he holds onto when he has to take a detour on his way home, dropping his mom off at her hotel and trying not to visibly squirm in his seat as she regales him with stories of how his daughter had captured the hearts of everyone she encountered, swallowing down the slight jealousy that he hadn’t been there to see it and clinging to the fact that he had his own success elsewhere in the night - success that played second fiddle in his own mother’s eyes to the experience of sharing her granddaughter’s first ever game with her, an experience he had to endure twice as she called his father from his car, deep chuckles ringing through the speakers as he tried to get a word in edge ways beyond her excitement.
It’s what has him shaking with anticipation as he almost skips down the hall to their apartment, mustering up the rest of his energy to walk into their home without the weight of the world on his shoulders, leaving any doubt, any insecurity, any lingering self-deprecation at the door so he can bask in this moment with the two hearts that are shaped entirely to fit him into them.
And it’s what has him shaking off whatever disappointment tries to creep in when he sees his little girl asleep in Poppy’s arms, knowing whatever tiny part of her he will ever get will always be enough - even if her big, glassy eyes aren’t looking up at him, even if he doesn’t come home to one of those heart-stopping beaming smiles she has started to give to him whenever he enters the room - her being here, sleeping safely in the arms of her beautiful mother, and him getting to come home to whatever version of them he can, is more than he could ever ask for.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the hat-trick hero.” Poppy’s soft voice carries to him as he makes his way over, dropping his bag on the floor and keys on the counter, heading straight to where she is now standing and pressing a kiss to her waiting lips. “Hi, handsome.”
“She didn’t wanna say goodnight to her daddy, huh?” He tries not to sound too dejected - he’s supposed to be on a high, after all - but after half an hour of his mother unintentionally bragging about all the attention she had been giving to her Gromi all night, he can’t help the slight sag of his shoulders - especially knowing that she’s going to be spending the morning with his mom tomorrow, too.
“Sorry, baby, we watched a little of you on the TV and then she got hangry,” Nico finds himself hypnotised by her still figure, enamoured with the way she exudes sheer calmness. The smile that creeps up on his lips seems to do so by muscle memory - a dopey kind of smile he’s probably had plastered on his face since she came into the world kicking and screaming 2 months ago, a smile permanently etched into his features from probably even before that. “I promise I tried to keep her up, she literally fell asleep on my boob.” Poppy whispers, watching with warm, glittery eyes as Nico takes in the sight of his two favourite people in front of him - Poppy already changed into one of his shirts, settled for the night, and his baby girl all cosy in her little teddy bear onesie, pacifier bobbing between her plush little lips.
“Look at her hat,” he pouts, running a finger along the folded seam of the way-too-big beanie Poppy has perched on top of her head, the knit fabric falling just short of her closed eyes. “That’s adorable.”
“Your mom put it on her before we left,” Poppy chuckles lightly, “Wanted to keep it on until you got home, we had to celebrate the hatty properly.” Her brows raise as if gesturing to the bill of the cap on her own head, one of his, he’s sure - no doubt stolen from their closet as soon as she got home.
“My little good luck charm,” he leans down to press a kiss to her cheek before he lifts himself back up and bends toward Poppy, “Gonna have to start coming to all the games.”
“I’ll let you break the news to her when she wakes up,” she hums as he presses his lips to hers, “She has a very low tolerance for everybody telling her to smile and getting all up in her space, been grouchy all night.”
“Just like Mami, huh, bug?”
“Oh, you think you’ve got jokes now?” Poppy scoffs as she steps back, ready to take their daughter to bed.  “Score your first hatty and you think you’re funny?”
“Always been funny, babe,” he smirks, flicking at the cap sat on her head before he takes it off, flipping it to place on top of his own and following her down the hall. “I’ll prove it to you when I get her first laugh.”
“She’ll be laughing at you, not with you.”
“Better than nothing.”
Nico sits on the edge of their bed as Poppy reaches into the crib to retrieve the sleeping bag in there before she lays it down beside him. He does the work unzipping and readying it for her to place their daughter inside while she rocks her still-sleeping body, and the two of them work in tandem to get her inside before zipping her back up, with Nico softly pulling the beanie from her head and watching her fluffy hair fan out in its absence.
He runs a gentle hand over her head to smooth it down as Poppy lifts her, and leans into where she offers her up for a kiss before she puts her in the crib. Nico watches with a soft smile etched into his features, the familiarity of it all spreading warmth throughout his chest, his favourite part of every day being this - sharing a goodnight routine in the comfortable quiet, the two loves of his life safe and happy within arms reach.
None of it feels new or daunting anymore, just easy - and despite the constant warnings of it not always being this way, Nico just wants to feel it to its fullest extent; sheer happiness and serenity.
Poppy returns to the front of him, and he instinctively spreads his legs to accommodate her, palms laying flat against his chest and his hands falling to her hips. She just looks at him for a good few seconds, eyes shimmering with admiration, lips tugged between teeth and a head tilted as her expression flickers into something more intense.
Her hands travel down his arms, wordlessly, until she grasps at his wrists and pulls him to stand, leaning up to press a fleeting kiss to the corner of his mouth. “C’mon,” she whispers while her lips are still against his skin, “Wanna celebrate you.”
As if getting to come home to her isn’t celebration enough.
He follows her back through the hall with their hands clasped together, arms stretched between them so he can watch the hem of his shirt ride up against the backs of her soft thighs, and he starts to feel his throat go dry.
He thinks of all those mornings they would spend in the kitchen together in the summer, his shirts a little tighter around her pregnant belly, riding up against her curves and leaving very little to the imagination when she’d wear just his t-shirt and nothing else.
She’s wearing panties now, he can tell, could see the bottom of them peaking out when she’d leaned over to put their daughter in her crib. But he doesn’t mind inching them off, quite likes the slow pace of unwrapping her like a gift - a well-deserved present for all his hard efforts on the ice.
It’s where his fingers find themselves almost immediately when she stops just short of the couch, spinning and practically launching herself into his waiting arms. He can’t help but chuckle as they collide, large arms wrapping around her frame as she melts into him, hands gripping either side of his jaw to pull him down in a clash of teeth and tongues. He palms at her ass as she presses her hips forward, fingers slipping under the hem of her panties and wriggling under them until his knuckles are covered by the fabric, squeezing at the flesh until she groans into his open mouth.
He feels deft fingers working between them to rid him of his own clothes, clumsily popping open the buttons of his jacket before working their way up his chest, slipping into the arms and helping him shrug it off. The weight of it drops to the floor with a heavy thud, and when her hands return to his chest for the next item of clothing to be removed, she pushes him back with an exaggerated huff.
“Baby, how many layers do you need?”
“You in some kind of rush, or something?” He chuckles, chasing her lips with a crane of his neck, getting a quick kiss in before she pushes him back again with palms laid flat on his broad chest.
“Your daughter has some sort of radar for when we’re within 2 inches of each other,” she says as her hands slide down, the feel of them through the extra layers he has on still present as she travels past the hard ridges of his abdomen. She grasps tight at the bottom of his hoody, and he lends a hand to tugging it up and over his head, throwing that to the floor, too. “We gotta get a move on before she wakes up,”
“My daughter?” He scoffs, removing his undershirt while she’s distracted, relishing the feeling of a heavy gaze on his chest once it’s fully revealed to her hungry eyes. “She’s really given you such a hard time that you’re disowning her?”
“She isn’t letting me have a hard time at all, that’s the problem.” Her hands reach back out seemingly of their own volition, fingers fanning out across his skin as her stare glides down, the weight of it sliding down his skin to the point he feels the hairs on the back of his neck stand to attention.
“That was weak for you.” He teases.
“I’m out of practice,” she pouts, closing the distance once more and pressing her lips to the slightly stubbled skin of his jaw, nipping at the flesh as her ministrations travel across his features, his jaw, his neck, the spot just below his ear, where she mutters, “Wanna show you how proud I am of you,”
“Oh yeah?” He asks as she works at the button of his pants, pushing until they pool at his feet and he can kick them off.
“Mmhm,” she moves her kisses back to his waiting lips, “Been waiting to get my hands on you all night.”
“Been waiting to get my hands on you all day,” he mutters back, bending to lift her with hands gripping her ass, “Been thinking about you teasing me in the kitchen this morning,” he starts heading for the couch, mind spinning as she continues kissing him - thinking of all the plans she had been making for the two of them while his mom takes Little Bug out in the morning, finally giving them some much needed, uninterrupted time to themselves. Plans of wasting the morning away between the sheets, sharing showers, having no responsibilities other than paying attention to one another. “Thinking about having you all to myself tomorrow."
“You gonna let me give you a preview?”
He chuckles as he falls back onto the couch, all grace thrown out the window as they sink into the cushions, her still holding onto him and now straddling his lap, lips stretched into a blissful smile as he looks up at her.
She presses them straight to his, and he can’t bring himself to mind the way their teeth clash at her eagerness, hips grinding down onto his as she settles onto her knees.
He could spend forever kissing her like this, sensual and sloppy, the slight scratch of her nails against the sides of his neck and his grip on her thighs guiding her movements straight onto the aching growth between his legs.
He bucks up to meet her, and their lips part with a wet smack as she groans.
"Bet you can’t wait for me to shave, eh?” he smiles as he swipes a thumb across the space between her nose and lip, the skin red raw from the scratch of his moustache.
“You know damn well I’d ban you from ever touching a razor again if I could.” She says, breathlessly, slowly thrusting down onto him.
“Tell that to your little red muzzy, you’re giving Luke a run for his money,”
“Hey,” she swats at his chest in feigned outrage, “The kid tried his best!”
“No more talk about Hughes when you’re sat on my lap,”
“You brought him up!”
“Thought I was getting a preview,” he groans as he shuffles, reaching between them to slip a hand between her legs, tucking his fingers beneath her panties and swiping against her heat. “Jesus, Poppy.”
“Told you I’ve been thinking about you all night,” she pecks at his lips again, raising her hips a little to give him further access to slide his fingers through the almost excessive wetness that’s near enough soaked through her panties.
He prods at her entrance, two fingers slipping straight in until she’s gasping against his cheek in sheer bliss. His digits move with ease, working his way up to his knuckles as he drinks up her pleasured moans, his chin tilting until their open mouths just press together without kissing, panting against one another as he works her up.
He pushes the fabric of his shirt up her thighs with his other hand, exposing his handiwork to hungry eyes so he can see the way she glistens between her legs - can see the way his fingers slide in an out of her.
She takes his shirt off, throwing it beside them on the couch so she can see too, looking down for only a moment before she’s throwing her head back.
He’s so hard just watching her that it’s almost painful - straining against the seams of his briefs until they’re tenting beneath her. And she must notice, nimble fingers working him out until he’s thick and hot and heavy in her palm, gripping around him in with her thumb swiping at his tip, hips shuffling until his fingers slip out of her heat and she can move on her knees to hover above his waiting cock.
He takes a hold of himself while her hands raise to steady herself on his shoulders, and he waits with bated breath as she lowers herself, sinking past her entrance until he’s sheathed entirely, tight, wet walls wrapped around him in a long-awaited embrace.
Their moans fall out in sync, both of them stilling, the only movements between them being the soft rise and fall of panting chests.
It’s a minute before she starts to rock her hips, leaning back down to distract herself from whatever unease needs to fade away with the press of her lips to his - tongue swiping at his, sucking and nipping at the muscle as she works herself to the point where she can lift herself up a little.
“Fuck me,” he whines out in an elongated groan as she sinks down on him again, tight and slick and warm, and he feels tension in every cell in his body, strung taut to the point where he feels like he could snap entirely in any given moment.
“I’m working on it,” she pouts, “Think I overestimated my talents here,”
“Think you’re very talented,” he hums, pressing a kiss to her jaw as he lays large hands on the dip of her waist, fingers tickling into the arch of her back so her movements are a little smoother, a little more fluid. “So good to me, yeah? Just need a hand.”
He guides her hips into a steady rhythm - up, down, forward, back - until she’s rocking onto him in a mind numbing pace.
God, he thinks, this is heaven.
It’s been so long since he’s had her like this. Probably all the way back in Switzerland in the summer, and he thinks a lot about this situation mirrors that - trying to stay quiet, trying to feel as much of each other as they possibly can without drawing attention from sleeping parties one room over.
He remembers thinking, all those months ago, that it wouldn’t be possible to love Poppy any more than he did, then - that he couldn’t possibly feel more for her than he did when he shared that part of his world, and she had embraced it with open arms. She had blended straight into his family, had adapted herself to his routine, had brought new life and colour to what he had always considered vibrant, anyway, but she had changed the meaning of it all.
But she had done the same to life in Jersey.
Long gone were any feelings of homesickness he used to get - especially around this time of the year. Fully immersed now into his season, summer seeming too far from his reach that he started to forget what home felt like. But not anymore.
Home is Poppy. Home is their baby girl sleeping soundly in the next room. It’s playing one of the greatest games of his career so far, meeting milestones he had been reaching for for so long, standing in the centre of the arena he has built his career in, hearing the rapturous cheers of fans chanting his name, and driving back knowing the love garnered there could never possibly compare to the love waiting for him in his apartment.
He brings her face down with a palm splayed gently across her jaw, fingers reaching back to tickle at the nape of her neck and thumb swiping tenderly at her soft cheekbone, until their mouths collide. He shifts his hips to meet her ministrations, finding a rhythm that has her gasping into his mouth, enough that his tongue can slip past the seam of her lips and press against hers - hot and fervid and eager.
He wonders as the pressure builds if this passion will ever wither. If this need to profess his love for her will ever wain away, if he’ll ever be casual about the way in which she has become the entire centre of his universe.
He hopes not.
He hopes when he’s 80, he looks over at her and his heart still hammers in his chest. He hopes his mouth struggles to make sense of all the ways in which his brain tries to convey what she means to him - hopes he still stutters around his sentences and feels weak to the very base of his spine at the mere thought of her.
In fact, he doesn’t hope at all.
He knows he will.
“You feel so good,” Poppy mutters into his mouth, panting against his swollen lips, “I’ve missed this so much.”
“Yeah?” He thrusts up, “You missed being full of me?”
He’s missed this far out look in her eyes, glassed over and almost gone as she nods in response - they haven’t really been able to get to this stage with their quick fumbles and rushed hookups in the last 2 weeks since she got the all clear from her doctor for them to start being intimate again. Sure, they had developed other methods over those first 6 weeks, making good use of hands and mouths in whatever limited time they could find together, but nothing compares to this.
To being attached at every point like they are one.
“You gonna come for me?”
He still remembers her tells, fluttering lashes, trembling thighs, stuttered breaths all combined with the spine tingling way in which she tightens around him, and he manages to time it so they come together, one final burst of energy used to lift his hips just as she sinks down, body slumping into tremors that wrack through the both of them.
He holds her in place for a second, large hands pushing his shirt up her back as he starts to rub circles into her flesh, soothing her back into a softened consciousness - hazy and frazzled but still in tune with every movement he makes.
Her nose presses into the expanse of his neck, lips pecking at all the sensitive spots she can seek out as they both try to catch their breaths - and he realises she was probably right before, they haven’t had time like this for a while now.
Still, he’ll take what he can get.
She lifts her hips just enough for him to slip out, and reaches to the small table at the side of the couch where she has miraculously stashed a pack of baby wipes. She takes two out, using one to clean the both of them before she bundles it into the clean one and discards of it back onto the table to be disposed when she eventually gets the feeling back in her legs.
And it’s as soon as Poppy’s legs give way and she collapses into him that they both hear it - a soft wail carrying through the monitor behind the couch. Cries filling the space around them and bursting their bubble with an almighty pop!
“Told you,” Poppy mumbles into his neck, skin sticky with a soft sheen of sweat. “Won’t even let me get a hatty of my own,”
Nico scoffs, snorting out a loud chuckle that shakes where she rests on his chest, and despite her feigned irritation, she feels her cheeks puff out into a soft, unbreakable grin. “Like you’d have lasted 3 rounds.”
“What happened to me being very talented?” She pouts, mustering whatever strength she has left to push herself up, swinging a leg back over and moving to stand, only for him to grasp back at her, pulling her until her back falls into the plush of the couch.
“Talented, Poppy, not super human,” he chuckles, standing from the cushions and tucking himself back into his briefs. “I’ve got her.”
“It’s probably wind, I changed and fed her before she went down.”
He presses one last kiss to Poppy’s head before heavy feet carry him down the hall toward their bedroom, where their daughter’s crib is temporarily positioned until she starts to sleep a little further through the night. He doesn’t bother flicking the light on as he enters, able to follow his muscle memory straight over to where she is without tripping over his own feet, and he lifts her as soon as he can, cooing at her as she cries into his chest.
“I’ve got you, Chäferli,” he mutters as he rocks her gently, large hand completely encompassing where he can feel her back through her sleeping bag. “Daddy’s here,”
He reaches over to shut off the monitor before he ambles over to his and Poppy’s bed, sitting with his daughter still clutched to his chest, little hiccups coming out as his hand tries to work up her wind.
“Got yourself all worked up, huh?” He asks, so deep into his routine of talking to her about anything and everything that he no longer second guesses it. “My little bug, you’re okay.”
It takes a good few minutes to calm her down, to the point that Nico thinks she might even be hungry and he’ll have to call Poppy in, wiggling a finger between her lips to see if she latches on, but he continues to pat and rub at her back until she burps, and her cries turn into little coos, that turn into soft pants with wide, sparkling eyes staring up at him in wonder.
He looks down at her in the same way, dark eyes flitting across her every feature. Across the soft but thick head of hair, the crazy long eyelashes, the puffy lips and the little button nose.
She looks so much like Poppy that he feels his chest ache every time he looks at her - but it’s a good kind of ache, a longing and content kind of ache, that only aches to remind him of everything he stands to lose if he doesn’t work hard enough to keep it.
“Gromi told me you were charming everybody at daddy’s work,” he tells her with a soft smile, the pad of his finger pressing at the tip of her nose. “Says she’s gonna have to show you off around the city on her own tomorrow.”
Tiny fingers reach up to clasp around his, holding on and clutching with a grip he’s sure wasn’t so firm that morning when he had said his goodbyes.
“Careful, bug,” he tells her, “You hold Papi’s hand too long and he won’t let you go.”
Wide eyes gleam back at him, and he watches in awe as they start to crinkle in the corners.
He becomes all too aware of the hammering of his heart, and lays her beside him on the bed in fears that the echoing thud of it beating against his chest might disturb her. He curls up beside her, making sure she’s flat as he gets himself comfortable, and just lays there for a good few minutes, watching her as she watches him.
There isn’t a feeling in the world that compares to this, he thinks. He could score a hundred hat-tricks, have a million people chanting his name, and it won’t come close to how adored he feels in this moment, how proud he feels to have played any part in making a little human so perfect and beautiful.
He leans forward, kissing softly at her puffy cheek, careful not to press too hard that she feels the scratch of his moustache, and he relishes the little squeal of what he hopes is delight she gives in return.
Tumblr media
Poppy gives it 20 minutes before she decides to venture through to their bedroom, having cleaned up and busied herself sterilising bottles so they’re ready for Katja to come pick up in the morning. It’s been a rare occurrence lately that Nico has had his one-on-one time with their daughter, him being so busy with training and their trip to Florida - and he wouldn’t say it, wouldn’t fess up to the ways in which it gets him down, but she knows he feels like he’s missing a lot.
She changes so much day to day - discovers so much about the world around her - and as much as Poppy tries to save things for him to see on his own, tries to find the balance between sharing the little moments she gets with him and letting him experience them for himself, she knows there’s nothing she can do to keep that nagging voice at bay.
He’s always been that way, unable to completely silence the thoughts that tell him no matter what he does, it isn’t enough.
He’d even done it tonight - his first career hat-trick, him being the first Swiss-born player to score a natural hat-trick, a stadium filled with fans chanting his name, dominating a team the Devils hadn’t beat at home in close to 10 years - and it hadn’t been his best performance.
She would gladly spend the rest of her life convincing him he’s good enough, she thinks.
Her and their little Bug being the ones who get to welcome him home after a night like tonight? She doesn’t know what she did in a past life to get the Gods on her side like this, but she’d do it again a thousand times over.
As her feet pad softly down the hall toward their room, she listens out for the soft voice she usually has the pleasure of eavesdropping on when she thinks he doesn’t know she’s hovering on the other side of the door. A soft voice that tells their little girl exaggerated stories from his day about her uncles, about his games, about whatever he got up to while he was away and what he brought back for her from his travels. But this time, it’s quiet - the peaceful kind of quiet that wraps around her like a blanket, tranquil and warming as she pushes the door open and steps into the room.
Nico is curled up on his side of the bed, on top of the covers, and his arm is draped gently over their daughter’s sleeping bag, their faces inches apart as soft snores fall from their parted lips. She inches closer as quiet as she can manage, leaning over them and taking in their similar profiles - the gentle slope of their mirrored noses, dark lashes framing closed eyes that are turning darker to match her daddy’s day by day.
If anyone had told the Poppy of last November that this is where she would be now - that this is where she’d be with Nico - she never in a million years would have believed it.
He has transformed her life in such little time that she can barely remember the before. Can barely remember a night she fell asleep in any other bed, by any other side, or woke up to anyone else. Can barely remember feeling anything close to this kind of happiness, this kind of content.
It’s like he’s introduced her to a whole new level of feelings. Ones she struggles to describe, like there’s no word in the English language that could possibly convey what he means to her.
Maybe his language has a word for it. Something that she’s never heard before, but just sounds right. Like she knew it somewhere much deeper than her brain allowed her access. She’ll have to ask him, tomorrow - when they finally have a morning to themselves and she can work up the energy to crawl out from under the sheets with him.
A part of her wishes she could take a snapshot of this moment - could send it back in time to the Poppy who never thought this kind of life would ever find her. The Poppy who was drifting, coasting, floating, afraid of landing on her own two feet and having to drag them for the rest of time through unfamiliar territories. The Poppy who pushed down her ever expanding adoration for the man currently cuddled up to their entire life in the bed they share, who convinced herself he could never possibly feel the same way, and wasted years of her life when she could have had this.
But another part of her thinks, what’s the point?
She has him, now.
She’ll have him forever.
She allows herself to watch for a minute as they take deep breaths in sync, all the post-game tension in Nico’s body long melted away, before she quietly shuffles over to the bathroom to get herself ready for bed.
She manages to make her way back over in the dark without stumbling, by some miracle, and reaches over to pick her baby girl up without interrupting her sleep, standing beside her crib and rocking her a little just to make sure she’s still fully drifted off - relishing the feeling of soft puffs of air falling into her neck as she cradles her.
Nico must wake at the loss of contact, instincts kicking in immediately when he can no longer feel the little body that had been resting under his protective arm, and when Poppy looks back over, she can see the reflective glint in his eyes as he watches her - soft and adoring and tooth-achingly sweet.
Instead of putting her down, she bounces gently on her feet back over to Nico’s side of the bed, sitting beside him as he shuffles up, and the two of them just watch their daughter as she sleeps.
For all the times they have been warned that this bliss is temporary, that it’s just a phase, Poppy can’t see it ending for as long as Nico looks at her like this. Like he has the entire world sat in front of him.
“She was smiling at me before,” he whispers as he repositions himself, legs spread so that Poppy can sit between them. “Was trying to get her to calm down, and she was just looking straight at me with those big sparkly eyes and she smiled right at me.”
“She was doing it a little when we got home, earlier.” Poppy whispers back, hoping he doesn’t mind her raining on his parade a little to tell this story, “We just caught your interview on TV after the game, and there was this close up of you, and she smiled so big, Nico. She never smiles like that for anybody.”
“That’s ‘cause you snitch on her and tell everyone it’s gas.”
“I don’t want anyone else thinking they’re special.”
“But I am?” He asks, reaching to swipe the back of his finger softly against her cheek, the soft moonlight sifting into the room reflecting off of the ring on his finger, the quick glimmer enough to catch Poppy’s eye, to distract her so much that she can only hum in response, lips curving into a tender smile.
“Yeah,” she breathes, the tranquility of the room a stark contrast to the way her heart erupts into thunderous applause for him - akin to that of the stadium full of fans earlier that night. Thousands of voices chanting his name, singing his praises, cheering him on for all the glory he brought to their night. He brings that to Poppy, tenfold, every day. “You’re really special.”
He leans over their sleeping daughter to press a loving kiss to Poppy’s lips, careful not to disturb the little angel between them, and Poppy kisses him straight back, fervent but fleeting.
“I’m so proud of you, baby.” she mutters into his mouth, careful not to invest too much of herself into another moment they’ll swiftly get interrupted from.
“You gonna show me in the morning?” He mumbles back, their lips still touching, noses pressed together, his hand still cradling her face. She nods, and he feels her cheeks round into his palm. “Gonna give me that hatty you promised?”
“Gonna give you whatever you want.”
“Another baby, Frau?”
She scoffs, swallowing down the fizzing feeling at the back of her throat the nickname.
“Ask me again after your next hat-trick.”

Famous singer reader x hugh and she wrote a song about him bc they been together
Make You Feel My Love
Tumblr media
18+ Only
A/N: it took me forever to figure out what song I wanted to use but then I was listening to this song by Adele and my feels went into overload! So just pretend the reader wrote this for the sake of the story. I don't own rights to this song or anything like that.
Warnings: tooth rotting fluff.
The crowd cheers as you walk back out on stage, sitting at the piano as you smile out to the crowd. "This next song is one I wrote back when my husband and I first got together. I knew very early on in our relationship that my life had forever changed for the best and everyday since then I fall deeper in love with him. Hugh," You look towards the vip section, eyes connecting with Hugh's and a teary smile on his face causes you to tear up, "I love you and I will always love you." The crowd cheers when his face pops up on screen.
He blows you a kiss, mouthing an 'I love you' back as you start playing the piano. The lights lower and the spotlight shines on you, the crowd silent
---
When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
Your eyes connect with his, watching his face as you sing.
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one there to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
And you would. You would hold him for however long he needed you to, you've done it before. Your shirt has been stained with his tears more than anybody would think but that's okay, because you're his safe place just like he's yours.
I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong
The beginning of your relationship was rocky due to the fact both of your schedules were booked months in advance and there was never anytime for the two of you. Rumors of cheating and break-ups strained your relationship but getting his phone call every morning and night took your stress and worries away for those few hours.
I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue
I'd go crawling down the avenue
Know there's nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love
When you wrote this, you knew it was how you both felt. Looking into his eyes now as you sing, you know that feeling is still there. He would do anything for you and vice-versa.
The storms are raging on the rolling sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
You ain't seen nothing like me yet
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
Hugh has always gone to the ends of the earth for you, you the same for him but he's never allowed you to want for anything. His love, support and everything in between brings you happiness in ways you never thought possible.
To make you feel my love
To make you feel my love
The crowd cheers as you wipe your tears away, blowing a kiss at him as the lights turn out and you can't wait to see him after the show.

‘tis the damn season | ln
Tumblr media
the one where you go back to your hometown just to end up in lando's bed.
lando norris x gender-neutral!reader
word count: ~1.3k
warnings: ex-bf!lando, little bit of angst & fluff, implied smut
note: part 2 of this blurb series i have going on rn, it’s not proofread so there might be some spelling mistakes!
Tumblr media
you looked at the screen of your phone absolutely perplexed, reading the simple conversation over and over again.
"heard you're back in town?"
"i'm sorry, who's this?
"lando."
you couldn't believe that was actually happening.
it had been years since you and lando had last seen each other, or even talked. growing up in the same town, you had been friends since early childhood, and you had grown together with your group of friends.
you also happened to date him for a year before you had decided to move to L.A for your studies, and with him also making his move up to f1, you had decided to call it quits.
and when you left, you never heard of him again.
you had been out of the country for a little over five years, and had never came back til that very christmas. flights from california to england were not only expensive, but also a lot of time; so you had never found yourself in the right state of mind to go back to your hometown, having your family and friends visit you instead some times.
from what your friends had told you, lando had lost contact with everyone in your old friend group, so how on earth did he even findd out?
"my parents told me, they saw your mum at the store yesterday."
the answer to your question came as he double texted at the lack of a reply from your side. you sighed, not sure where he was going with all that.
"just came back a few days ago."
"are you free tonight? haven't seen you in forever."
straight to the point, classic lando.
"can't, i'm staying with my parents. they probably want to have dinner together."
you knew it wasn't a great excuse, but you hoped he would accept it and move on with his life.
part of you wanted to accept his invitation, it had been so long since you had last seen him. as you looked at your screen, you reminisced your relationship with him.
you had dated other people during those years, but even on the other side of the world, you sometimes thought no one would ever make you feel the way he used to do, no one would even know you the way he did.
the rational part of you knew it wasn't a great idea. in the end, you were leaving again in just a few weeks. and you didn't want to go back to your new life with the "what would've been..?" question lingering on your mind.
୨୧
you knew lando could be persuasive. but you thought he wouldn't have much of an effect in you after so many years.
silly you.
he had convinced you to come over to his place in the matter of a few minutes, claiming that his parents were out of town for the weekend and he would appreciate some company.
you parked your car between your old school and the town's church, the place where you and lando would usually meet when you were younger.
sighing, you left your car and started walking the cold streets that led to his house.
the same path you used to follow every other day a few years ago, but this time you weren't sure what was waiting for you there. and it was too late to retreat when you knocked on the door and a smiling lando welcomed you inside from the other side of the door.
he looked different.
more mature, and definitely a lot more handsome than you remembered.
he had ordered something for you two to eat, and with a movie on the background, you talked for hours, time flying by without you even noticing.
you were sat on his couch, one bottle of wine gone during your joyful chatter; and with the alcohol getting to your head, you couldn't stop yourself from leaning into his body, sighing contently.
you looked up at him, a smile creeping up to your lips when you saw him staring back at you.
"what's with this?" you giggled, scratching his chin, amused at his attempt of growing a beard.
"hey," he pretended to be offended, poking on your side with his index, which made you squirm. "it's not that bad."
"i didn't say it was," you answered, "you look hot."
the words slipped out of your mouth before you could ever think about it, and a pink flush quickly painted your cheeks as you mentally slapped yourself.
"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to..." you tried to make the situation less awkward, but his hand cupped your cheek and forced you to look back at him again.
he was leaning into you, and your breath caught in your throat at the proximity between your faces. a deep, shaky breath left your lips as you looked into his piercing eyes.
"is this okay?" he asked, his voice low and husky. and fuck, was it inviting.
you nodded your head, not able to form a proper sentence, or even a word. and he broke the distance between your lips, crashing his mouth against yours in a soft, tender kiss.
you sighed against his mouth before you let you hands and lips do all the talking and soon he was guiding you into his room with his arms around your waist.
୨୧
a few hours later you found yourself walking back into his room, your hair messy as you put your clothes back on. he smiled at you from under the covers, having gotten in bed already.
you chuckled at the sight of him, tucked under the blankets with messy curls and sleepy eyes. and it reminded you of all the previous times you had spent with him in that very same bed, your heart growing fond of the sight before you.
"you're not staying?" his question caught you by surprise, making you stop gathering your things to turn to look at him.
"what?"
"you're not staying?" he repeated, as if you hadn't heard him the first time. but you were still as surprised.
"no," you simply mumbled, sitting on the edge of his bed to put your boots back on.
"come on, y/n," you felt his weigth shifting closer to you, his arm wrapping around your waist and his lips pressing a tender kiss on your hip, over your jeans.
it wasn't a good idea, spending the night with him. you knew that much.
"it's late and it's cold outside, you can leave in the morning," he added, not letting you reject his offer again.
and the softness of his voice with the puppy eyes he was giving you, could've made you do anything he asked for.
he smiled when you didn't reply, knowing that you weren't going to turn him down again. you rolled your eyes with a smile and changed into the shirt he was offering for you to be more comfortable.
his shirt.
and you knew you shouldn't have come to his house in the first place. you knew you shouldn't have slept with him and surely, you should've left instead of crawling back into his arms, letting the warmth of his body envelop you as you lied with your head on his chest.
because you knew you would leave again in only a few weeks; and having a taste of what could've been if you didn't run away years earlier would only lead to breaking your very own heart.
but you sighed and snuggled closer to him, nuzzling your face on his chest and allowing yourself to be his, just for the weekend.

Fluff
Eternity
(Stray Kids)
Note: This one is inspired by Seungmin’s speech in the maniac tour! I love my pretty boy so much so I thought of making him a short oneshot about those words he said<3 Enjoy!
·:*¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨*:··:*¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨*:··:*¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨*:·
You and Seungmin are together for 8 years now. Ever since grade 10, you've been together... He was your first love. The guy you have loved for all of those 8 years... Well, 11 years actually. You've had a crush on him for three years before having the courage to confess to him, which luckily he also liked you too and led to him courting you.
And that courting ended after a year. After saying yes to his courting, you fell in love with him even more. Being with him heals you a lot from things that you haven't healed from in childhood. He was the man you wanted exactly.
Today is your anniversary... Having him take out. You wore something simple since it's both yours and his comfort. A gray tank top, one of the flannels he gifted you. a black skirt and some simple white shoes.
You both didn't need to wear something fancy as both of you just wear whatever you both want. In his eyes, you're beautiful even when you're looks aren't fixed and it goes the same for you.
You looked at him, who's sitting on the edge of the bed, watching you out of appreciation. "Look how beautiful you are..." He smiled.
He stood up and held his hand out, which you took happily. He led you both out of the house to some nearby restaurant with an overlook. He pulled out the chair for you to sit on and when you sat down, he adjusted your seat so you wouldn't have to and sat down at his own seat.
Heaving to talk about both your days at work before ordering some simple meals. When the meals came, he spoke up "My love."
You hummed, smiling lightly at him.
"You know how we've been together for 8 years now, right?" He asked. You nodded to reply to him. "Care to stand up with me for a bit?" He asked and of course, you can't ever say no to him so you did. You stood in front of him as he looked at you in the eyes in such love and happiness. He was proud of having you from high school up until now.
He had one hand in his pocket, holding your hand with the other. He took a deep breath before speaking up, "We've been together for 8 years... We both saw each other's ups and downs and I'm so happy and glad that you didn't leave me when you saw how weak I was before." You nodded, listening to him as your thumb rubs circles on his hand.
"I didn't know what I would do if you left me then. Baby, I'm so thankful for you being here, supporting and helping me with everything and I always will do the same to you. You've treated me well, I've done the same to you."
He lets go of your hand before kneeling in front of you. Your eyes widened at that move. "My pretty girl, I know that you know that I don't believe in forever but in this moment, at this time, being with you... I want to believe in eternity with you. Will you marry me?" He asked, holding up a small box. Inside that box was a ring that you once wanted but it was too expensive to buy... And now, he's got you the same ring to propose to you...
Your eyes swelled with tears, nodding "Yes!"
He sighed in relief and happiness, standing up and sliding the ring on your finger. You looked at the ring wrapped around your finger and hugged him. He held your chin and made you look at him... He leaned in and gave you a passionate kiss before pulling away. His eyes looking into yours with happiness and love. "I love you..."
"I love you so much more, Seungmin."

Marco x Poet Bug, they'd be so cute, they'd be so perfect...they'd be so sad (lil warning I'm no poet, so any mentions of poetry/ attempts are gonna be poor at best- also the flower meanign are at the end!! ^^)
So this is set in a universe where Bugs time with the boys lasted a bit longer so they spent more time with the boys, apart from that most is the same...oh and Bug didn't run into Marco before the arena! They just ran in on their own!!
☆×.------------------------.×☆
"To my darling Lotus"
☆---------------☆
It'd been a while
He'd been busy recently, he'd go off on an adventure then when the time came for him to return home he'd be dragged off elsewhere. This lead to an...extended period away, it was hard, on both Bug and Marco
They hadn't been close for long but the time they'd spent together was unlike anything either had ever experienced. It was awkward when they first met, given Bugs initial hesitation to interact, but they quickly got over that when Marco noted the poem Bug was writing from their spot on the bed. The two quickly bonded over discussions of poetry, as well as other things...though poetry was the primary subject of their talks It was clear from the beginning...that the two were doomed destined to meet.
The two used to spend every moment Marco was home together, no matter what they had to do they stayed together. Like two beetles scuttling through life side by side. But now...he was barely around...I guess that's why he was so shocked when he found it
Marco had finally found time to come home, after a few months he could finally return. He hadn't expected much, maybe a hug waiting near the door, or an update on how everyone's doing, but what he found in the hutt was less than that...he found nothing.
There was nobody home, not even a hint of life left in the home. Marco paused in the doorway for a moment, trying to think of where everyone may be? Maybe they were napping, or maybe they were out! So they made their through the house, gently knocking on each door and when he got no response they'd peer inside...only to find nobody there. Each time the door closed Marco's mind grew worried, his footsteps became hurried and harsh on the floor, until they ended up back in the main room
They tried to stay calm, tried not to assume the worst but...well Bug didn't do this, they always knew when Marco was hoping to return so they always left some kind of sign...but today there was no sign!...at least Marco believed there wasn't, as they began to look around once more he spotted it
A small note lay on the small table just by the door, breathing a sigh of relief Marco retrieved the paper and peeled it open...but as he read the dread sunk back in
☆---------------
'To my darling Lotus,
Things haven't been perfect since you left, Timmy's in a bit of bother and I have to go help him out. I don't want to tell you where I'm going, as I don't want you to try and follow me, I need you to stay safe even if I cannot do the same. I hope to see you soon my love, however if I don't-
If I bid farewell to tonight's moon
Then never greet tomorrow's sun
Do not cry for what my future holds
But smile as you think of all I have done
~
Your life will move on, days will pass
The sun will shine, the moon will shift the tide
But as long as you keep me within your mind
I shall remain here with you, right at your side
~
Even if I never say those words again
Or if another tells you what I cannot
No matter how long my body lays still
I love you dearly and that love shall not rot
I love you Marco, even if I'm not here, I love you
Farewell for now
- your sweet Cyclamen'
☆---------------
...unfortunately Bug didn't come home, they never got out of the arena. Bodie and Timmy returned, the told him all about what happened...all about how their lover met their end
Marco tried to accept what happened, they tried to listen to what Bug asked of them...but they struggled. Life seemed to still when he realised they were gone, forever, they would never return. He would read their poem every night, their voice reading it out in their mind...except slowly it shifted, as his memory betrayed them, their voice began but a faint idea as the voice changed to their own. The day he forgot what they sounded like was the day they lost themself, he didn't want to forget, it was one of Bugs final asks...no...they couldn't forget
Time passed as Bug said it would, and Marco kept his promise, they remembered Bug and made sure others would know the circumstances of their death, they died doing what they saw as right...they deserved to be remembered, much more than he ever would

Hi, idk if you’re still into that, but could you write a hunger games fic with peeta x reader(f).
I’d love a scene at the end of the first book where they’re in the train and peeta asks about what was real and what wasn’t real from their time in the arena and then there’s a big conversation about how the reader feels for peeta and it’s not love but they care about him and all. And then it could get steamy.
I think you get the idea, but yk just make it great like you always do!! 🫶🫶
Smut is obviously welcomed
I am always into The Hunger Games and Peeta "if it weren't for the baby" Mellark.
a/n: reader and Peeta are between 18-20 because I don't feel comfortable writing this about minors lol
You stare out the window of the train as it speeds down the track. It's so quiet that you could hear a pin drop and you feel Peeta's eyes boring into you, but you ignore his gaze. You can't look at him. Not yet. You know exactly what he's going to say-or ask, and you're not ready to hear him. Peeta is your friend and you'd hate to tell him that the kiss was just for show even though you enjoyed it much more than you should have.
You care for him, but not in the way he thinks you do. You want to set him straight, but just can't stand to look into those puppy dog eyes and tell him something that you know will hurt him.
But Peeta already knows the truth, he could see it in your eyes, but he just wants to hear you say it. To have confirmation that you really don't have feelings for him and that he's not just making it up in his head.
He really likes you, but he's going to take what he can get. What he really wants, though, is a kiss. He's been thinking about your lips ever since you kissed him in the arena and now he wants another. He wants one in private, to taste your mouth, to let his hands roam around your body-
"Can I help you?" You ask, your tone teasing, pulling Peeta out of his thoughts and he melts as your pretty face finally come into view. He wants to set the record straight and you both know that so he doesn't beat around the bush.
"That kiss was..." he pauses, trying to find the right words. "I can't stop thinking about it. Can't stop thinking about you, actually." He says it all dreamily and the way his eyes light up when he talks about you, god, it's so attractive.
"I think I love you," he rushes to say and you feel your heart break as you realize that you're going to have to tell him that you don't feel the same way. And you really don't want to hurt him, to lose the best thing you've ever had.
It's worse than you thought. You thought it was just a little crush, but love is very different. Love is big. Love is huge and it's not something you can quite conceptualize. At least, not romantically.
"I know we haven't know each other for very long and that you may think it's silly-" It's not, though. Not to you, at least. Who are you to tell Peeta how he does or doesn't feel? If he says that he loves you, then he does. "But I love you. So fucking much that it hurts."
"Peeta..." You try to come up with what to say even though you've had more than enough time to prepare. You've been waiting for this exact conversation for what's felt like forever. "I care for you," You tell him as you move to sit next to him, taking your hand in his.
"You're my best friend," you say and he nods. "But I don't think I feel the same way." You wait for his face to fall, but it doesn't. He's still smiling as if you had told him that you loved him too.
"That's okay," he nods. "I'll be whatever you want me to be." You don't deserve him and you know that. "I'll do whatever you want to," he says as he scoots closer to you, your thighs touching as his eyes move to your lips.
Before you can stop yourself, you're leaning in and his lips capture yours as his hands move up to cradle your cheeks. It's slow and gentle as you two try to get to figure it out and as soon as you do, one of his hands moves to the side of your neck, his thumb moving back and forth along your jaw.
You pull back before you can get too carried away and you and stand from where you're sitting, holding your hand out to him. Peeta wordlessly takes it and pull him to his feet before leading him down the narrow hallway to your room.
As soon as the door is closed, you push him up against it, pinning his arms above his head as your lips find his again, more rough this time and he eats it up, matching your energy as he lets you take whatever you want from him.
You've been wanting this for so long, thinking about his lips, wanting them anywhere, everywhere as he kisses you all over, murmuring the dirtiest things against your skin.
Neither of you have ever gone this far before so it's all new territory, but it's so exciting to take the steps together.
You nip his bottom lip and an involuntary moan falls from his lips, his eyes widening. Another person had never mad him make that sound before so it's all new to him, but you want to assure him that you think it's hot.
"That's a nice sound," you tell him. "You wanna make it again?"
"Please," he whines and you nip at his bottom lip again, pressing yourself against him as you feel his cock hardening against you.
"We can move this to the bed...if you want," you suggest as you pull away and all Peeta can do is nod enthusiastically. "But I don't want you to think I'm taking advantage of your love for me."
Peeta doesn't know what you're getting at because he doesn't see it that way at all. You're just having fun. It doesn't have to mean anything.
"I don't think that. We're just having fun, right?" He smiles.
"Right," you nod, feeling relieved as you pull him away from the door, pushing him down onto the bed before straddling his waist. Your hands move into his hair as his find your waist, moving up your back, causing your shirt to ride up.
Your lips move to his cheek, nibbling on his jaw before getting to the spot right below his ear, giving it a suck, causing him to gasp, but he finally settles, melting into you as he tilts his head to the side.
And the two of you stay like that for hours, addicted to the feeling of each other's lips. You melted into each other, kissing into the late night until you decided to call it quits, but you picked up right where you left off after breakfast, so close to finally taking it to the next level.

Love in a hopeless Place 3
Synopsis: She was barely grown up, when she stepped into the bar that was the center of Zaun's resistance. The people she met there would forever change her life, and one of them especially. Silco x reader/OC; first-person POV; overall rating: E for Explicit; canon-compliant (though I might make a stretch on the timeline here and there to make things fit my symbolism); age gap! (younger female, older male); 9 chapters; 45k; cis female reader/POV; no beta-reader; completed Chapter ratings/warnings: T for Teen, mentions of alcohol and smoking, canon typical representation of those Wordcount: 2k Author's note: It's getting sweeter dear reader! Our POV character is feeling a little bold today and talks against the grown-ups. And aparently boldness wins. Have fun! Comments would be appreciated!
Today's music recomentation: Cake - Short Skirt | Long Jacket

Act I
Chapter II
Part 2/2
The rest of the week went by, and soon Saturday came around.
I contemplated wearing the same dress as on my birthday, but instead went for a shoulder free blouse, a wide, laced belt and black pants. When had I started to care so much what I wore again? As I left the house, I called out for my family to not wait for me and threw Silco's jacket over my shoulders.
The arms were so long, it was more comfortable wearing it as a cape. It still encapsulated me in that scent mix that made my head go dizzy for a few seconds every time I passed the heavy fabric in my room.
I walked past familiar streets, familiar faces, sounds and scents, yet still something felt different - I felt different. As I entered "The Last Drop", the bar was busting as the last time I had been here, music loud and energy high. I straightened my clothes and walked through the crowd right towards the bar.
The place right next to Silco was taken by a woman with dark purple hair.  I also knew her from somewhere, but at that time, I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
So I headed for the next best empty stool. In pants, it was easier getting on these things gracefully.
Vander, Silco and the woman were lost in their conversation, so I ordered a beer from Vander's aide.
I hadn't really liked the beer the punks gave me on my birthday, but I didn't want to get as drunk as last time, and I was still curious about "the real drink" Silco wanted to serve me. I've watched them for a while interact before I caught Vander's eye.
He greeted me friendly with my name and walked towards me behind his bar. "Ah, I see, you're already served." His glance landed on my "cape". "So, Silco took you home, well?" He pulled up an eyebrow, and I quickly took the cape off. It was way too warm in here for it anyway.
"Yes, he was a true gentleman."
"That he sure is," Vander chuckled, ogling his friend from the corner of his eye. "And those kinds of men are hard to be found down here, you know?"
I sipped from my beer, avoiding his glance. "I've noticed."
"Hey," Vander made me look at him. "I gave that punk a good speech the other day. He won't bother you again."
I smiled. "Thank you, but honestly, I haven't been thinking about him anymore since then." I couldn't help but let my eye wander over the bar to the very end, where Silco was still vividly conversing with that beautiful woman.
She was about his age, not a kid like me.
Vander's dark chuckle made me look back at him. "This is Felicia, and she's as much my sister as Silco is my brother. She's got two kids with a guy called Connol who's currently home, watching them and giving this woman a much-deserved night out."
I couldn't help but sigh in relief.
"Silco! Look who's come to say hi to you!"
Now he finally raised his head and placed his green eyes on me. His face lit up ever so slightly, and excusing himself from Felicia, he slid down his stool. "Hey kid," he greeted, tapping two fingers to his forehead. "You really came."
I shrugged. "We had a date, hadn't we?"
Vander busted out laughing at the sight of Silco's perplexed face. "Hear, hear! Now, Silco, there you've picked up one!" His laughter hollered through half of the bar, and I felt my cheeks turn hot.
Silco tried to hide his anger by ignoring his brother. Sliding onto the stool next to me, he threw a glance at my beer. "What the hell are you drinking again, kid? I told you, let me choose your drink tonight. Get her what I have, Vander, and stop playing matchmaker. I'm way too old for a kid like her."
Vander chuckled and exchanged my bottle of beer with a glass of red liquid.
I raised an eyebrow, questioning.
"Wine," Silco explained. "Does its work, but keeps your senses inside your head. And tastes better than that stuff." He pointed at my old bottle.
I took a sip. The wine was sweet and sour at the same time, thick and rich against my tongue. I tasted the alcohol, but not as bad as in the liquor I had on my birthday. "It's... good," I made surprised.
"Told ya." Silco held his glass in front of me.
I clicked glassed with him and took another sip.
His green eyes didn't leave my face, as much as mine didn't leave his. For a while, we engaged in pleasant chatter.
I tried to ask if my father's delivery had been to his liking, but he told me not to talk about these matters here and now. I wasn't sure if he tried to flirt with me from time to time, and I wasn't sure if he noticed that I was constantly flirting with him.
Vander left us the whole bottle of wine, so we were unbothered for a good junk of the evening.
It was fascinating hearing him talk about his plans for Zaun's future, but just as much was he willing to listen to me ramble about my upbringing. He hadn't known that Claus had tried to get me into Piltover's University. "It would have been a shame if we'd lost another bright mind to the topsiders."
I knew I was blushing over the compliment, so I hid my face in my hand.
That moment, Felicia's voice calling Silco's name cut through the white noise of the bar. From the other side of the counter, she was giving him a stern look.
Silco sighed and slid from his stool. "You excuse me?" He walked towards his friend, who had her hands rammed into her sides.
"What the heck are you doing?", she snapped. "She's still a child. She's Claus' child! And he'll kill you when he finds you messing with his daughter."
I was sure, she wasn't expecting me to hear her, but my ears had always been very good.
"I'm not messing with her, Felicia, and she isn't a child anymore. She's a full-grown woman."
Felicia huffed, and Vander walked towards them as a voice of reason.
"What's your problem, Felicia? She clearly took a liking to him."
"Oh great, now the great Vander also is on his side. This is just not right. You're too old for her!"
"I know," Silco sighed and ran a hand through his hair, leaving it messier than before.
"We've known her since she was the same age as Violet is now. This is just not right."
"Silco says he never noticed her in Claus' store."
"I really don't!", Silco defended himself. "I don't know where my eyes were, but not on her!"
"And we both know why, right, Felicia? 'cause our Silco here hates children and ignores them as good as he can."
Silco faced Vander, now with an even angrier look on his face. "I don't hate children - per se. I don't like brats, but some kids are kinda okay. Felicia's, for example. The little one is kind of cute. I mean Violet..."
Felicia now had to restrain a chuckle. "Yeah, Vi is clearly a brat. And Pow is too small to be anything yet." She made her straight facade reappear. "This still doesn't feel right. Maybe it's because I'm a mother myself now, but this just - it bothers me."
"I know." Silco's voice got so low, that I now really had difficulties hearing him. "Trust me, I won't make it strange. I'll leave it all in her power of decision. I promise." He placed both hands on her upper arms, petting them slightly.
When Vander chuckled, they both snapped at him. "Shut up, this is all your fault anyway!"
I finally felt the urge to advocate for my cause too, so I slid down my stool, took my drink and approached them. "This is none of their faults, Felicia. The second I took a seat on this stool on my birthday, the second I laid an eye on him, it was all lost for me. I knew I wanted that man, and I knew I'd get him."
They all looked at me with their jaws hanging. "Hear, hear," Vander made again, then busied himself with the dishes.
Felicia raised an eyebrow at me and patted my shoulder. "Good luck with this knucklehead then."
Now it was just Silco and me, and he still hadn't closed his mouth. "I'm sorry you heard that," he finally found his composure again. "Momma bear can be a little overprotective."
I avoided looking him in the eye and instead looked into my wine. "Well, maybe this one had made me braver than I actually am."
Silco tapped my cheek with two fingers. "You know, there's an old saying, that goes, "In wine lies the truth", so maybe you just don't know how brave you actually are."
"Are you lecturing me now, old man?"
Silco chuckled. "I wouldn't dare to." He took the glass out of my hand and pulled me into the crowd. "Let's dance a bit."
Hours later, my feet hurt like crazy, and Silco was walking me home again.
He wore his other jacket, which almost looked exactly like the one he had given me. Must have looked funny as we were walking down the lanes side by side. He was quietly smoking next to me.
I didn't know what to say after this eventful night, and Silco, I supposed, wasn't a man of many words. As we reached my house again, I was able to put the key into the hole myself. As I turned towards the door, Silco hovered over me.
"So, what about a goodnight's kiss now?", he whispered to my ear, and his voice left my knees shaky.
I searched his glance, but his eyes were fixed on my lips. So I turned to him, placed a hand on his cheek, and pressed a slow, chaste kiss on his mouth. "Good night, Silco," I whispered and heard him gulp loudly.
He was moving away from me. "Good night, kid." Before he could straighten up to his full height, though, I grabbed the collar of his jacket and pulled him close again, lips crashing into each other like falling on your couch after a long, hard day. He gasped in surprise, but quickly he recovered, melting his body around mine, embracing me with his long, slender arms, hugging me tight.
I felt the strong muscle of his shoulder under my hands, and he pressed me against the door frame, kissing me like a madman. For a moment, time seemed to have stopped. It was just us and nothing else around us - no streets, no houses, not even my family that was sleeping upstairs - just the two of us and the growing urgency with which our mouths worked against each other.
Finally, Silco pulled away. He pressed his forehead against mine for a second, planted then a kiss on top of my head, and stood straight. His pupils were fully widened as he looked at me. "I should go now, or else I can't keep the promise I gave Felicia."
I smiled sheepishly. Of course, I had felt it too. I was also going to get lost in the moment. But it was better to wait. "Good night, Silco," I said again, brushing some loose strands of his black hair behind his ear.
He mimicked the gesture with my hair, then turned around and left.
My knees were so weak at first, I didn't even make the stairs. I crash-landed on the sofa for a while before retreating to my upstairs bedroom.

I sit with this thought, trying to imagine what it would mean if SJM released an Elriel book. It’s the kind of idea that, on the surface, feels ridiculous, like one of those what-if daydreams you have while half-distracted, waiting for something else to happen. But then, there’s that persistent nagging voice in the back of your head, the one that says, what if?
What if she really did give us Elriel, those two characters who feel like they belong to someone else’s story? There’s something about the whole idea that doesn’t sit right, like the sound of someone trying too hard to fix what wasn’t broken. I can’t picture them as endgame, I just can’t.
And yet, there’s this curiosity, isn’t there? How many of us, Elucien shippers, would actually read it? Not because we wanted to, but because we had to, just to see how it all fits together. The narrative, the characters, the inevitable shift.
Would we read it out of loyalty to the story or would we read it out of defiance, waiting to see if something could ever make sense of this tangled mess? Because deep down, part of me wonders if there’s something a little masochistic about it, something in all of us that needs the confirmation, the closure, the full weight of seeing something we fought against, seeing it come to life in print. So, no, I don’t know if I’d read it with excitement or with dread, but I think I’d still open the pages, if only to prove a point.
What about you?
I think I'd probably read it because Sarah is usually pretty good at explaining why a couple is supposed to end up together but she would have to overhaul both Elain and Az's characters and the way they act around one another (they read like two 15 year olds who don't understand how real relationships work when on page together and the spin-offs are New Adult featuring a 500+ year old guy and a 24/25 year old girl). Which, if that's the direction she wants to go, it's her prerogative. It's just that she would be erasing the personalities she's given them thus far in order to make them believable for an endgame pairing. Elain would suddenly have to be a character who is not as gentle and kind as we believed, but someone who embraces the idea of torture and revenge. She would suddenly like the darkness and shadows, not sunshine and nature and light. She would have to never revert to the Elain of the past, the one who could charm anyone with a few smiles and who loved balls and parties in order to stay by Az's side since he likes his space and alone time. Or, Az would suddenly need to morph into the life of the party or someone who enjoyed the company of others so he could stand by Elain's side as she flitted around chatting to everyone.
Though I would read the Elain and Az book, I would feel that it was a missed opportunity for Sarah to really open up the ACOTAR world to us. Nearly every single main character staying in the NC, forever having weekly family dinners together because they've literally made no real relationships outside those they found because of Rhys and / or Feyre, every single main character reporting to Rhys and Feyre as their High Lord and High Lady? Nesta did make her own friends in Emerie and Gwyn but if E/riel end up together than it's clear that moving forward the family dinners would only feature Feyre, Elain, Nesta, Rhys, Cassian, Az, Amren, and Mor with the only outsider being Varian. The exact same group we've seen since ACOWAR with no growth to be found no infusion of new personalities. I mean, Elain has been friends with the wraiths for multiple books yet they still haven't shown up to any gatherings. But Gwynriel? Elucien? Family dinners would be a blend of old and new. Gwyn and Az, Elain and Lucien, then the OGs of the IC. With Elain and Lucien we'd have strong connections to places outside the NC. We'd have friendships outside those in the NC. We'd have places that Nesta and Feyre would be welcome outside the NC. We'd have Sarah showing us that variety can make the most beautiful of families, where different people from different walks of life can come together instead of needing every golden brown haired Archeron ending up with a dark haired tattooed Illyrian warrior.

OK but christ now that I've thought about it more, there is a lot of shit happening at the same time rn
● Maxo (The code infection on his leg + his nightmares about the codes. The fact that he hasn't shown up in a hot minute concerns me ngl)
● Luzu's computers (There's like 6 or 8 that's been discovered on the island as of now. Still don't know what their deal is but they've just been kind of sitting there for a week or two. But the fact that the code showed up when Fit and Aypierre tried to investigate I think is a kind of hint towards this being very important)
● Eggs (Both how they turned up cracked, dirty, tired and slight amnesia + how they all disappeared the next day and left their accessories on their beds + we still don't know ANYTHING about it) This one is probably taking the most toll on the islanders. (cough cough BBH literally fading away all whilst going through of 5 stages of grief cough cough Forever might have tried to destroy the whole island) Without their kids and no clue on how to get them back, the islands in a kind of depressive / hopeless state at the minute
● Missing Furniture (The hidden messages behind it were uncovered but we still don't know the full extent of it. For example, we don't know who / what did it)
● Waystones (As the audience, we know Aypierre did kinda do this. But, as far as the majority of the islanders know, its still a mystery. Fortunately, people like Cellbit and Antoine are catching on)
● 'Missing People' (It really wouldn't be Quesadilla Island without the weekly kidnapping /hj. As far as we know, both Mike and Baghera are M.I.A. Mike was 100% kidnapped and the islanders are somewhat aware of what happened. For Baghera, the last thing we know is that she uncovered her past alongside 'There's no escaping this time'. And then there are the long-term disappearances, such as Mr Mustard and Walter Bob. We're slowly but surely discovering clues about them two but who knows if they're even still alive)
● Code (As we saw yesterday, the code is still active and will still attack. Without the eggs, they are less of a threat atm. On the bright side, nothing major seems to have happened with them since Etoiles' fight with them)
● They're fucking drugging them (Forever disappeared for a day and came back with white clothes, a big ass all-might smile and meds from Cucurocho itself. As long as Forever takes the drugs, he seems happy-go-lucky and basicly is living in this warped reality of the island where everything is 'perfect' for him. That is until he hears the ticking; then he'll become violent and scream for the ticking to stop. He'll eventually take the meds again, and go back to that artificial happiness. The islanders have made the majority aware of the situation and are trying their best to investigate. However, it seems Forever wants everybody to be happy like him, which is really fucking bad. Already Pac is 'receiving treatment' in an attempt to try and make an antidote for the meds; we'll see the results of that today. Even more concerning, Forever has enlisted Tina to make a list of all those that want treatment. PLUS, Forever wants to talk to Jaiden specifically to give her something and they've already agreed to meet up today at some point. Considering the last couple times Forever wanted to 'talk' with someone it ended up either Forever pulling a gun on them or trying to kill them with mines, well, o7 Jaiden)
● The Whole Quackity Situation (We still are in the dark about what exactly happened but as far as we know, the federation messed with Quackitys memories. They fucked him up so bad the guy forgot how to read and write. Again, he hasn't been seen in a hot minute but is likely due to unrelated irl stuff)
● Jaiden (Recently we learnt about Jaidens ties to the federation and it is concerning to say the least. I haven't been fully caught up on it regarding the conversation last night, but she is definitely important in the grand scheme of things)
● And finally, something may or may not happen on the 16th, so just kinda bare that in mind
I still don't think that's everything 🤣 I freaking love this server

Craig Tucker x Fem!reader
💌 Craig Tucker is a mother fucker: Chapter 10  💌
Summary:  You want to say that it wasn't your fault buuuuuut it kinda was. You didn't think much of it as you casted your joke vote for the "Hottest guy in school" and in hindsight you should never listen to Clyde but it was pretty funny at the time. Craig just wanted a peaceful junior year and you can't blame him for that however waking up the morning after a party, in his bed, being told that you two were dating wasn't exactly your definition of peaceful either.
Notes:  I was always too scared of the fandom to post it back in the day but I wrote this before Creek was made canon so let's just say Craig is bi for my sake because I've had a huge crush on him since forever. My S/O pointed out that Craig is just Trafalgar Law but with a guinea pig instead of a polar bear and I haven't been the same since I have a type and it's them.

"I-I think Craig just dumped me."
The tears started to form in your eyes as Clyde ran after him leaving you alone. You're not even quite sure if the water works were to sell the act that you've kept up or if it was because you were so taken aback by this whole endeavor but you'd like to think it was the former rather than the later, period the end, or at least that was what you were going to keep telling yourself. This was supposed to be a harmless dare just some stupid bet so how in the hell did it end up like this. You aimlessly paced back into class pretty much running on auto pilot.
Everyone got quiet for a moment but then returned back to their conversations only glancing at you occasionally. Stan looked at you from across the room rubbing the back of his neck probably debating if he should say something about earlier. You didn't know how to answer Stan's question and you definitely did not want to answer him with all eyes on you. If Stan had asked you a few months ago maybe you would have answered differently but you didn't say anything. Which probably made Stan feel worse but you were also feeling numb. You're not sure if it was because they heard what happened or if the look on your face was enough to assume what did between you and Craig but no one seemed to pry. In a way you were glad no one tried talking to you after that but at the same time maybe being left alone with your thoughts was not a great idea.
It was weird, a few months ago all you wanted was nothing more than a chance to get closer to Stan. You just wanted to be more than a passing face in the halls, to get to know him better and be his friend and the opportunity handed itself to you on a silver platter and you didn't want it anymore. Strange how it seems to always work out like that. On the other hand back then you didn't want anything to do with Craig Tucker and well it seemed like the world had other plans for you both. You thought about this during your next few classes. You never realized just how much the little things he did meant so much to you. Those sarcastic narcissistic smirks that used to pissed you off so much turned into soft grins almost like he was trying not to smile because he didn't want to give anyone the satisfaction. The way he never asked to hold your hand he would just do it and it just felt right. Not to mention you both could sit in comfortable silence with each other. So much has happened over these past few months. With the final ring of the bell you came to terms with the fact that you didn't want things to "go back to normal" normal didn't sit well with you. You enjoyed his company damn it and you weren't going to take no for an answer. You knew what you had to do
You had to find Craig.
You had to at least try to sort this out before it was too late. You scurried around campus looking for him and when you saw him at the end of the hallway Bebe stood right in front of your vision. You tried to look past her making sure to keep an eye on Craig. "(Y/n)! Thank god I found you. We need you to sub in." You were craning your neck to look around her, it was hard with the crowd of students shuffling in and out of the halls "Bebe can this wait, I need to talk to Craig he-" you turned back to see him with Jenny. They were laughing about something and he was smiling. A smile you don't remember him ever making for you. You grit your teeth feeling deflated at the sight of them. At the thought that genuinely everything betweenyou was a lie.
"You know what? Fuck Craig! What does the squad need?" You cursed yourself for being too much of a coward to confront him. You had such a short window of time as it was and now you didn't care. It really did sound like the squad needed your help plus you needed a break. A break from all the lies and pretending. You were able to live without Tucker before and you're stubborn enough to bet that you could live without him now.
Bebe blinked for a second studying your face "What happened with Craig? Wait, have you been crying!" She reached up to grab you cheek and you lightly pushed her hand away.
"Yeah, Craig broke up with me during theatre but that's not important right now. What does the squad need?"
"Oh my god! What an asshole! Where is he I'll-"
You groaned holding her back as the was rolling up her sleeves looking like she was ready to attack someone "Bebe no, the last thing I need you guys to do is get involved. Again." You looked back at where Craig used to be then back to Bebe, he was already gone "What was it about subbing in?" she gave you an apologetic look but continued "Heidi twisted her ankle and we have a game next week. We need you to fill in for her." You sighed yeah this might as well happen but wait, "Isn't it Halloween next week?" You pulled out your phone to confirm this theory as you and Bebe made you way to the gym for practice. "Exactly! That's why Token is throwing a Halloween party after the game. Were you not paying attention during lunch?" Bebe looked back at you but then remembered "Oh that's right never mind."
At least this would help you get a certain someone out of your head.
Spoiler alert! It didn't.
The next day the school caught wind of your break up and everyone was back on their bullshit making up rumors about what they thought drove the nail in the coffin. In a way it made you feel a little bit better knowing that if you guys did break up right after all the rumors subsided it would have been just as annoying as before. At least you had a few month of quiet in between, you know in hindsight. After that it seemed like Craig disappeared or at you thought until someone pushed past you with enough force to make you stumble forward. He didn't even look back to you until you called him out.
"Hey watch where you're going Tucker." He glared at you for a moment spitting "You're in the way (L/n)" under his breath but you still caught it.
After that you didn't see him in your classes mostly because you were finally paying attention to the lessons. You didn't notice him a side from theatre but Cartman's play kept you guys from interacting much and when you did the biting comments were in character and part of the script. Everything went back to normal like he said it would. He didn't show up to the table during lunch if you were there but you also only showed up half the time. The other half was spent giving Egbert off to Stan despite how awkward it was since you never did answer him. You're sure the question wasn't as serious as you were making it out to be but it was still weird how he worded it. Stan seemed to be getting better the more you came around but he was probably doing the same thing you were, using him to fill the void of human interaction that you both once had. You should really ask Wendy what happened but she seemed fine so you left her alone for the most part.
You ended up acting like a new person to some degree focusing on anything you could to take your mind off of the past few months. Anything to get yourself to forget the person you became so fond of. Most of your time and energy went into helping the squad. Everyday after school you had practice to keep you up to speed with how things work. It was odd because you would have never pegged yourself as a cheerleader type but you had to admit being apart of it was kind of fun. It was nice to be a part of something that made you feel appreciated.
Between the stupid egg thing, Cartman's abomination of a play and the squads practices Halloween came faster than expected. You performed well enough to pass as a real cheerleader and it felt exciting. It was enough to get you out of that slump you were in earlier. You weren't really one for sports but you found yourself having a good time especially when you guys won the game. It made you feel like you guys earned the party.
It wasn't until after everyone regrouped outside that your mood dipped again.
"Oh," Craig scoffed "She's here."
He rolled his eyes as you walked out with the rest of the squad. "Seriously dude?" Clyde said lightly nudging him in the shoulder as you all made your way to the parking lot. You mimicked his distaste "Fuck off Tucker you knew I was a cheerleader." He frowned crossing his arms grumbling to himself "Last I checked you were just a sub."
"Yeah? Well last I checked you don't even like football so why'd you come, huh?" you walked passed him trying to keep up with the rest of the group "Clyde always makes me come to their first game." He shrugged pushing past you again gesturing at Clyde "Told me if I came out tonight I wouldn't have to be the designated driver for once." You smirked back at him as you arrived at Clyde's truck "Oh so the great Craig Tucker does drink."
"After talking with you I need a drink."
The squad split up between Clyde and Token but there wasn't enough room for everyone "Bebe and the girls wanna ride in front so both of you have to ride in back."
"I'd rather walk." You spat in Craig's direction "Maybe I could still catch Stan or Kenny." he didn't say anything just flipped you the bird as he climbed over the side of the truck. "(Y/n) just get in the truck." Clyde pleaded as he got in the front.
You sighed but begrudgingly got in the back. The entire ride over you both were quiet staring at each other from across the bed of the truck. The wind was making your hair fly all over the place making you laugh a little when you saw a strand of Craig's hair attack his eye.
Serves him right.
You had never seen Token's place before but you heard his family was loaded but that was an understatement. The house was massive and on top of a hill. The inside was even more impressive. Apparently Tweek and Jimmy left the game early to help set up before the rest of you got there. Everything was decked out with orange and black streamers with cobwebs hanging down the corners of the room.
Honestly it looks like it took forever to set up. There was a huge entertainment center in the middle of the room with MarioKart already loaded up. Off to the sides there was an air hokey table, a billiards table, a karaoke machine and multiple arcade game cabinets. Not to mention a fully stocked kitchen with every alcohol under the sun and Halloween themed snack foods. Oh yeah now this was a party. You were in awe standing in the middle of the doorway.
"Token always throws a big party on the day of the first game but every once in a while it falls on Halloween so he goes all out." Wendy said as she and Bebe finally caught up to you. "No kidding. This is kickass!"
"So did you bring a costume?" Bebe asks you as you walk with them to the bathroom. "uhhhhhhhh" you had completely forgotten about that part, you just wanted to survive the week, you never really gave it much thought. "Why am I not surprised." Bebe sighed but handed you a bag. "Your lucky I couldn't decide what I wanted to be. Take this." you all went into the bathroom to get changed. Of course Bebe and Wendy helped with your make up again. You looked at yourself in the mirror "Just what am I again Bebe?"
"Your a sexy mouse! Like from mean girls the musical. I was going to sing "Sexy" for karaoke but now you get to do it!" you looked at her dumbfounded. "Greaaaaaat" you guys left the bathroom and headed to the kitchen for some drinks but nothing was really jumping out at you. In fact you kind of didn't want to drink tonight, it's probably for the best. "Okay here's the deal I'll sing Sexy but you guys have to dance with me"
"Sure!"
"Of course!"
"Cool now let's get this party started!"
You all sat around chatting with a few people until another group went up to start the Karaoke machine since you didn't want to be the first one to sing. It didn't take too long for someone too start it up, drinking and Karaoke go hand in hand. You kept getting this nagging feeling in the back of your mind like someone's watching you. Not that it was anything new, on top of which being a "sexy mouse" wasn't going to help your case but you couldn't tell if you were just being paranoid or if someone was trying to get your attention. Bebe polished off another drink and threw an arm around both you and Wendy.
"Laddies I think it's time!"
Wendy giggled at Bebe as you were ushered over to the karaoke machine and the music started.
---
Craig slammed another drink down on the table as Clyde gave him a look of concern "Don't you think you should slow down." Craig ignores him continuing the race. He wasn't doing so well "What designated driver who?" Clyde squints at him but sighs "Look I know you've been depressed for like the past week but might I remind you that, YOU broke up with her. Why don't you just go and talk to (Y/n)?"
"No."
"No? What do you mean no? Don't make you drag your ass over there." Clyde gestures vaguely in your direction as he sees you, Bebe and Wendy take the floor of the karaoke machine. "Oh fuck yeah they're gonna do sexy!" Clyde beams looking his girlfriend up an down. The music starts and Craig pops another bottle trying not to watch but ending up watching the whole time forgetting about the race.
---
"I'm a sexy mouse" you say the final line twirling your hair with you fingers striking a final pose laughing to yourself just how stupid and fun this was. Looking to Bebe and Wendy you all laugh yourselves off stage "Wooooo! God (Y/n) I might just fall for you with how sexy you are."
"Pfffft" you exhale as Bebe swoons into your arms caressing your face "Shhhh we don't have to tell Clyde this romance could be our little secret." She was a little tipsy, the perfect amount of tipsy. "What next air hockey or pool" Wendy suggest turning back to you guys flustered. You could see Stan looking in your direction from the pool table. In the end you guys decide Bebe is too tipsy to be trusted with a pointy object so you guys play air hockey instead.
It was funny to see Bebe panic over trying to hit the puck. You stopped trying to win ages ago opting to hit it as slow as possible to see Bebe frantically try to hit it back even if the puck was going into her own goal by accident. You traded off with Wendy grabbing another round of drinks as requested by the laddies. When you came back you noticed Kenny and Stan were playing against Wendy and Bebe. You were all chatting about and having a good time when you heard Clyde faintly call your name.
"Hey (Y/nick name), can you come here for a minute? No dude you're doing this now. I don't care if your drunk you need this. Only one of you needs to be sober to fix this."
Everything past your name was muddled by the music around you but as you walked closer you could hear Clyde shout "(Y/nnnnnnnn), (Y/nnnnnnnnnnnnnn) come get your manssss!" followed by Craig choking out "No, I don wanner to see me. She likes Staaaaaan, nauht meeeee." he was slurring his words but it sounded like he was crying. It was really a sight to behold as you approached from the back of the couch.
Craig was curled up into Clyde's side not seeing you standing above the pair. You've never seen him like this before it was, weird. Over the week you were trying to figure out what exactly you could even say to him. On the other hand seeing him have genuine emotions for once made you think back to everything he's said to you.
* I thought I told you to pay attention!
(Y/n), did you give Clyde your vote or did you vote for me yourself.
You're coming with me. Get on. I don't trust you to walk on your own just shut up and enjoy the ride before I change my mind.
It was Marsh, wasn't it? The one you had a crush on.
But do you want me to, do you want me to take your virginity?
Clearly it didn't mean anything to you anyways.
I don't want her to see me. She likes Staaaaaan, not meeeee. *
It finally clicked. He's always liked you. That night you thought you were imagining Craig professing his love for you. He actually said that, it wasn't just some figment of your imagination. You feel so dumb right now. He must have thought you still liked Stan and- Oh shit. This is all your fault, you are your own worse enemy. You could feel the heat rising to your cheeks. This was not how you wanted to say those words to him. You still didn't even know what to say. Craig was still muttering to Clyde that you liked Stan not realizing that you were there.
"Yeah, you're right. I do like Stan."
You say flatly. Clyde froze at your choice of words swallowing hard as you tried prying Craig away from him. This only caused him to tighten his grip on Clyde's jacket. Instead you knelt down in front of him resting your elbows on his knees propping your head up on your hands. "But I don't love Stan." he started to loosen his grip a little to look at you through his bangs "We're friends and all sure but that doesn't mean I love him."
He let go of Clyde and sat up staring down at you. He was a mess his hat was sliding off, his hair clumped in weird ways partially wet from either tears, sweat or beer and his eyes were all red and puffy. "No for some reason I'm in love with some dumbass who" you paused smiling to yourself over the irony "Probably won't even remember this ever happened, but I don't care I'll say it as many times as I have to for you to believe me," you took a breath looking him in the eyes
"Craig, I love you."
He took a moment to just stare at you with his hands moving gently to cup your face. You saw him start leaning in and your eyes slowly closed. The next thing you knew you felt his entire body weight on you as he leaned too far forward toppling you both to the floor. Clyde was laughing his ass off, it was such a dramatic confession followed by Craig's dumb drunken ass going in for a hug. Maybe it was you who misread the vibe you thought he was going in for a kiss regardless you were both on the floor. Craig nuzzled into your neck for security muttering something incoherent but probably along the lines of "I didn't want you to hate me again" or something like that you couldn't tell. In any case Craig was being a child as you tried get up from the floor. He refused to let you out of his embrace which was cute and endearing for the first few minutes but people were starting to stare and you weren't used to him doing this especially when he was using your shoulders to dry his tears.
"Okay I think you need to go home." You both slowly got up from off the ground. He was still putting his full body weight on you and you fell against the couch almost on top of Clyde.
"Yeah I think he needs to go home."

—⋆⊰ [R]esting on Blossom's desk is an envelope. Custom-made, hued with shades of blue and purple to create the pattern of a galaxy, dotted with whites for stars. Bedazzled with a small coat of glitter, it's clear it was made by hand, with love and care.
CURLICUE handwriting in vibrant ink inside reflects an eloquent hand, wafting the vague scent of green apple and rosewater.
Darling Blossom, Fate, although fickle, has been kind enough to smile down on me and allow me the ability to send this to you. You've grown into quite the gorgeous young lady, haven't you? We may not belong to the same world, but everyone on this Green Gate adores you. Starla and Daisy desperately wish they could meet you right this moment! Alas, these starships of life we ride on aren't quite on the same course yet. Though, on the day the stars align, we'll all accept you into open arms with blithe and jubilee. Find Comet on the third day of Celeste when your caregiver finally manages to breach the walls of chaos. Our constellations are in proximity. And through those who love us, we will connect. And please, do never forget that we all love you very much. You are ours just as we are yours. Don't mourn or fret that this will be our only meeting, simply show the rays of sunshine your smile bring, and with time, prosperity and hope will surround you. You always did you have your mother's smile, forever a treasure to all of us. Yours until the cosmos fall into place and far long after, Aunt Galaxina

Last night, after these events.
.☘︎ ݁˖— Training days had become more and more grueling as her attempts to correct her physique became harsher, often leaving her with little to no energy at the end of them. Today had been such a day marked in her schedule, both training in the gym and in the rink all day—she was starting to at least get those landings close to perfect, but it was rather finicky to do so in a way that judges would deem 'safe' and 'controlled'. She made it home with no issues, tossing her duffelbag on the floor, locking her door behind her for some privacy before she dropped on her bed. She'd already showered at the gym, sore limbs somewhat soothed but in pain nonetheless.
Tumblr media
.☘︎ ݁˖—Soon , she rises from bed and makes her way to her desk to log in her daily exercise on her schedule. She was about to pick up a pen when she noticed the most curious sight. It is a lovely envelope with such glittery, vibrant colors. She picks up the foreign object, noting it was addressed to her. Confused, she opens it and notices the pleasant smell and super cute handwriting—whoever this was definitely had fun making such an elaborate paper craft, it made her softly smile.
But the smile didn't last long, as her eyes glided through those carefully drawn sentences. The first time she read it, she was absolutely stupefied, having to reread it over and over again to try and comprehend the absolute bombshell of information provided by this unassuming piece of paper.
Why now?
Where were you before?
There's people.. like me?
No, this can't be real. This has to be some sick joke!! Did the girls from class do this?! But that doesn't make sense, nobody else knows my mom's name.
No, no it can't be true!! I can't get my hopes up like this i can't.
Tumblr media
.☘︎ ݁˖— Tears flow, tears she's held for years built up over her loss of self, the loss of what she could have partaken in, her loss of culture. Tears of mourning over people she never even met and had scarce information on. Why now? Why wasn't this sent sooner? If you were alive all this time, why didn't you reach out sooner?!
WHY, WHY CAN'T I FIND YOU. WHY CAN'T I FIND ANYTHING ABOUT MYSELF?!
Crumpling the paper ever so slightly, holding it as if it were a stuffed animal for comfort she fell back on the floor. Her cries turning to bawling, screaming the likes of which she hadn't done since she was little—since Dad lost her arm, you have to be a strong girl for your Dad, Blossom.
"Why... why..." She whimpers and shrinks in the middle of the floor, trying to calm herself down as that thought comes to mind. Still she is caressing that piece of paper as she wrestled with her cyclone of emotions.

Kiss Me Once Cause You Know I Had A Long Night 11/?
15. Messy kisses, destroying furniture trying to reach the bed
Summary:
Eddie's heel bumped into the table near the door, sending the rickety thing to the floor with a crash. They broke apart and just stared at the mess for a second. Somehow, the bowl they always dropped their keys in survived. The table itself? Didn't.
"Walking me to the door?" Eddie asked with a fond chuckle.
"Regardless of how well we know each other, this is a first date," Buck declared, walking beside Eddie. "I'm not about to just drop you off."
Eddie smiled, a blush definitely painting his cheeks. He took his keys from his pocket. He couldn't make himself actually open the door. The minute he did, their first date would be over. He didn't want it to end.
He knew what he did want. He just wasn't sure if Buck wanted it.
He looked up at Buck, a small smirk on his face. Buck had been brave enough to ask him out. Maybe he could be brave, too.
"You want to come in?"
Eddie had never asked him that, in all the years they'd known each other. Buck was never really a guest. But tonight was different. The lingering touches and bashful smiles actually meant something. They were finally on the same page. And Eddie wanted to do it right.
Buck looked at the door, then at Eddie. A crooked smile appeared on his face as something dark flashed across his baby blues. "Yeah," he said softly.
Eddie unlocked the door and Buck followed him in. The nerves Eddie was waiting for didn't come. He'd been waiting for them since Buck asked him to dinner. They never showed. Everything with Buck was natural, easy. It made Eddie wonder why it took them this long to get here.
"I had a great time tonight," Eddie said, trailing his fingers down the lapel of Buck's jacket.
"Me too," Buck smiled. His gaze flicked down to Eddie's lips and back to his eyes. "But there's one thing missing."
Eddie tipped his chin up, almost like a challenge. "What's that?"
Buck wrapped an arm around Eddie's waist and tugged him close. Eddie's breath hitched in his throat as he looked into Buck's eyes. Buck pulled him impossibly closer with a hand on his back and pressed his lips to Eddie's.
Nothing Eddie could've ever imagined compared to the real thing. Buck's lips were soft and tasted like the cherry chapstick he always used, and the chocolate cheesecake he talked Eddie into sharing with him at dinner. Even the chaste brush of lips sent sparks stronger than lightning through Eddie.
Eddie wrapped his arms around Buck's neck as the kiss deepened. Buck teased the seam of his lips apart and Eddie made a soft noise, carding his fingers through Buck's curls.
Buck walked them backwards, never breaking their kiss. Eddie's heel bumped into the table near the door, sending the rickety thing to the floor with a crash. They broke apart and just stared at the mess for a second. Somehow, the bowl they always dropped their keys in survived. The table itself? Didn't.
Eddie looked at Buck, who gave him a sheepish smile. Eddie burst out laughing at the absurdity of it all. One kiss and they were so caught up in each other they broke a table. Buck started laughing too, and he was just too beautiful not to kiss.
He cradled Buck's face in his hands and pulled him into a kiss. Buck hummed and gripped his hips, steering him around the mess and down the hallway. He spun and pinned Eddie against the wall, pulling away to trail open mouthed kisses down his neck.
Eddie tipped his head back to give him more room, when a crazy, beautiful idea hit him.
"Stay," Eddie said in a breathless whisper.
"I don't plan on going anywhere," Buck smirked against his pulse point.
"Forever," Eddie said.
Buck pulled away to look into Eddie's eyes. Slowly, a bright smile spread across Buck's face like a flower into bloom. "Did you just ask me to move in? After one date?"
"Technically, I asked you to marry me, and I wanted to way before tonight," Eddie admitted.
Buck grinned so wide his eyes crinkled. "Yes," he said with a happy giggle before diving in to press the word against Eddie's lips. "Yes." They were both smiling so much it could hardly be called a kiss. Buck wrapped his arms around Eddie and began walking them down the hall again.
One of them, Eddie was so kiss drunk he couldn't tell, kicked the table in the hallway. The lamp Karen gave Eddie a few years ago wobbled and fell, shattering on the floor.
"Sorry," Buck said against his lips.
"We'll put one of yours there," Eddie shrugged. He pulled Buck into the bedroom by the lapels of his jacket.
"You just wanted me for my furniture," Buck scoffed.
"That's just a bonus," Eddie smirked.
They fell into bed, and somehow broke Eddie's alarm clock through the course of the evening.
But furniture was replaceable, and Eddie would break every silly lamp or Ikea dresser if it meant having Buck.
