I finally decided to try out character AI and it was honestly such a good decision. Not because of the roleplay aspect, exactly, but to gauge how far AI is when it comes to writing. And I can safely say it's still a while until it can make things on its own.

#mostly because the ai can't stay in character the way a normal person can make it #not only in the sense of personality but just. how the character works in general #I was talking to the dogday ai (because of course I was) and it frequently forgot that it's supposed to not have legs #even though I mentioned the fact many times. and it was an important plot point #the ai also just repeats what I say a lot on its anwers?#like its trying to reassure itself that I actually said that. I'm not entirely sure why it does that #also they repeat themselves a lot lol. so much using the word worry or happy over and over again #even on back to back sentences. my dude. do you not have access to some online dictionarym #whatever. it was interested to analyze. and a little reassuring
