This is so weird. I've gotten No Mither twice and both times, I was Sheva/Jill and it was a Spirit o_O
Interesting mindgame. I figured he didn't leave and figured he kicked the gen so xD I wanted to wait at shack until I could tell he did leave. Also Cheryl saved me u,X
I wanted him to go for me instead of Thalita because she was on her last hook xD
I didn't expect him to miss so xD; We lost that match at the end. I always like being healed and this is way. You stay injured, you do a gen, everyone is injured, everyone goes down, everyone dies. I should have saved my syringe... I usually do but I didn't think we'd all die xD; I tried to lead him away but he just downed me and went back to the hook. I could also see him trying to cut me off which is why I kept moving back and forth... Still a fun match either way.

FORGIVENESS
PAIRING: Alastor x Wife!Reader SUMMARY: Alastor's work at the Hazbin Hotel keeps him preoccupied, leading to neglect in his relationship with Y/N. An argument later on arises, causing both to confront their feelings. Ultimately, they reconcile, promising to communicate better in the future. The story emphasizes the importance of understanding and communication in relationships. WARNINGS: Reader is a sensitive little baby (っ◞‸◟c) (sorry not sorry), Story gets angsty but there is a happy ending with fluff yay, Neglect, established relationship (as seen above), takes place in present-day hell, reader and Alastor live in a manor-type house idk i would imagine him rich or smth, don’t imagine the manor like a richie rich mansion manor just…yk. emotional turmoil, verbal conflict, depiction of emotional distress, Relationship strain, mild violence (not physical), Reference to a soul bond (which is in most of my fics bc i feel like if Alastor really married anybody they would own each other’s souls idk what i’m doing shut up). Angel says an Angel-type sentence in the bonus writing. LMK if I missed anything <\3. This fix is rushed because i got a lot of good comments on my last one and i felt confident but i don’t anymore so L.
NOTICE: please don't copy or steal or translate any of my work or you will be haunted in your dreams and i will spawn something unpleasant at your porch the next day. But...thanks for liking my work !! >.< Property of @l4zyb0n35 and @genderlessdude92

〰ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭ ..。.:*・゚♫₊ ♪ *♬‧₊enjoy!~
It was a typical morning in the manor of Alastor, the radio demon. The sun had barely broken over the horizon, hell’s birds were chirping, and the smell of coffee wafted through the halls. Alastor, as always, was in the kitchen sipping on his cup of coffee and writing down some ideas for the Hazbin Hotel. Y/N, his wife, was sitting across from him, her hair perfectly styled, just freshly taken out of curlers. But she was still in her damp robe from showering in the morning.
Alastor glanced up at her, a small smile on his face. He couldn't help but feel a sense of pride wash over him every time he looked at her. She was his wife, his partner, and his everything. They had been married for what felt like eternity, even though they had only been married since 1936. They had met in their previous life, both living in the same city, but they didn't truly fall in love until they met again in hell.
Y/N let out a small sigh from across the table, causing Alastor to look up from his notes once again.
But today, something was off between them. Well, more-so recently. He could tell that something was bothering her, her usually bright eyes filled with sadness. Without a word, he reached over and grasped her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. She looked at him, offering a small smile in return. But Alastor could see right through it, he knew something was weighing heavy on her mind.
“Everything alright darling?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.
Y/N pondered for a moment, “…It’s nothin’, don’t needa worry, okay?” She reassured, her voice faltering a bit at the end.
Alastor sat back in his seat, his expression turning serious. “…You know i won’t let this slide, dear.” he reassured her.
Y/N nodded, the feeling of unease in the pit of both their stomachs. Alastor seemed sincere, but something in his gut told him that this was more to be a serious matter.
With a wider, more forced smile, Y/N stood up from the table, “I'm going to go get ready for the day…” she said before quickly leaving the kitchen.
Alastor watched her go, a frown appearing on his face. He hated seeing Y/N like this, but he didn't want to harp her and overwhelm her.
As the week went on, Alastor couldn't shake the feeling that he was neglecting his wife.
Charlie had been giving him countless tasks at the hotel, since Lucifer told her it was good to overwork the big guys just a little bit.
psh.
Probably because Lucifer isn’t even big.
Even when he got to work from home, they were still just ghosts to each other.
Even the dinner was cold.
“Sweetheart…” Alastor called from his seat.
She looked over to him after a moment, waiting if he would say anything else, “What’s wrong, Al?”
She silently asked.
“…The dinner tastes… different?…tonight?” Alastor tried to say with a sincere aspect. Maybe Alastor could help her with the cooking?
“…oh um…I’m sorry…”
Fuck.
“No, no- it’s fine! um…be a deer and… just microwave it, okay?” Alastor reassured with a cheery smile.
Y/N paused from working at the stove to look at him and then his plate before walking over to him and doing as he said-
quietly.
“…So…acid rain today, huh?” Alastor began to start some conversation, “-must have been a bummer.”
“…the last petunias died in the yard.” Y/N replied.
Later that evening, Alastor and Y/N were in their bedroom getting ready for bed. Y/N was brushing out her hair while Alastor was sitting at his vanity, humming a tune to himself. But his cheerful demeanor quickly changed when he looked up at Y/N's reflection in the mirror.
Her bottom was lip trembling, and she had to stop in between her brushes to take a deep breath. Alastor could feel a pang of guilt in his chest, knowing that he was most likely the cause of her sadness. He quickly stood up and walked over to her, “Darling, what's wrong?” he asked, gently placing a hand on her shoulder.
Y/N turned around to face him and that's when it happened. “Just leave me alone, Alastor. You obviously haven’t been wanting to…i- interact with me recently.” She stated, “I’m doing you a favor.”
Alastor's frustration and guilt boiled over. “What do you want from me, Y/N? I have a lot on my plate right now and your attitude is really bothering me.” He replied, his tone harsh and genuine, alongside his smile that was tight and annoyed.
“You should really act your age for once, Y/N.”
She froze.
‘Act her age?’
“…I’m sorry I can’t be perfect all the time, Alastor.” She snapped back.
Alastor was to reply but she cut him off- “I’m sorry I have flaws.” She let her tears spill. Ones she didn’t even know she was barricading
“No, no- Y/N, I didn’t mean it like that-” Alastor started, but Y/N quickly was already opening the door to their bedroom, leaving Alastor alone with his thoughts.
He sat down at her vanity, wanting to inspect what she could’ve made her react like that. An object? maybe a broken object? A letter?
But nothing could have stopped him from staring at his reflection with shame and regret.
He had never gave Y/N harmful comments like that before, and he knew, always knew that words like that could deeply hurt Y/N. He had let his emotions get the best of him,
-and now he feared he may have damaged their relationship.
But he refused to let it end like this.
He quickly got up and went to find her, searching through their shared household. When he reached the living room, he could see her curled up on the couch, her face buried in one of the throw-pillows as she sobbed softly.
Alastor's heart broke at the sight, he had never seen Y/N like this before. He sat down next to her and slowly and softly began to rub his claw on her back through the silk nightgown she was wearing.
'I'm sorry, Y/N.”, He started. He stopped rubbing her for a moment to hear or see a reaction.
Nothing.
He continued, “I didn't mean it, I was just upset- things like this don’t happen, often, you understand…my emotions just got to me.” he whispered, his voice full of regret.
Y/N looked up at him, her eyes still spilling tears, “I know you didn't mean it, Alastor. But it still hurt me…I can’t just be p-perfect all the time,”' she mumbled with a hiccup, slowly sitting up. “I’m afraid there’s a reason that you haven’t been around me an-“
Alastor hushed her, “I understand, darlings…work got the best of me i suppose…”
Alastor pulled her into his warm embrace, holding her tightly as he buried his face in her hair. “-I promise I’ll never, ever, do that again. I understand that sometimes we all can act differently depending on the atmosphere, and I just didn’t bring that to mind at first,” Alastor noted, his demeanor wavering in his voice, “I’ll never forget this conversation, Y/N…”
“I can't lose you.”
Y/N pulled back and cupped his face in her hands, her eyes locking with his. “I could never l-leave you, Al.” she whispered before pressing her lips to his in a gentle kiss.
From that day on, Alastor made an effort to be more open with Y/N, to share his troubles and concerns with her instead of bottling them up. And in return, Y/N opened up more to him, sharing her fears and worries.
Nothing could tear them apart.
Mostly because they most likely have bonded souls but you know what i mean.

(450-500 words)
After the heartfelt conversation and reconnection with Alastor, Y/N decided to surprise him one day at the Hazbin Hotel with lunch. She spent the morning preparing Alastor's favorite dishes, humming to herself as she worked in the kitchen.
Once the food was ready, Y/N packed it neatly into a picnic basket and headed to the hotel.
As she entered the lobby, she was greeted by Charlie, who smiled warmly at her. "Hey, Y/N! What brings you here today?" Charlie asked, curiosity twinkling in her eyes.
Charlie and Y/N had known each other since after that big battle with the angels. Like the good housewife Y/N usually was, she offered to help heal and mend to the hotel staff’s wounds. From then on, the staff just knew her as, ‘a second mom’ of sorts.
Y/N grinned, holding up the picnic basket. "I brought lunch for Alastor. Thought I'd surprise him," she replied. Charlie's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's so sweet of you! I'm sure he'll love it. Let me take you to his office," she offered, leading the way down the bustling hallway.
When they reached Alastor's office, Charlie knocked on the door before opening it, revealing Alastor seated behind his desk, engrossed in paperwork.
"Alastor, you have a visitor!" Charlie announced with a sing-song like voice. Alastor looked up, a surprised expression crossing his face when he saw Y/N standing in the doorway, holding the picnic basket. His eyes lit up with delight, and he quickly set aside his paperwork, standing up to greet her.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" he exclaimed, stepping forward to give Y/N a hug. "A surprise lunch visit from my lovely wife. You've outdone yourself, darling." Y/N chuckled, returning his embrace. "I thought you could use a break from all that paperwork. Plus, um… I wanted to spend some time with you, if that’s okay." she replied, placing the picnic basket on his desk.
Alastor's smile widened, “Of course, dear. Anytime i’m around you is like a gift sent from the overlords.”
As he opened the basket, he was revealed to see the delicious spread Y/N had prepared. "You truly are too good to me, Y/N," he said, pulling out a sandwich and taking a bite. As they enjoyed their lunch together.
Y/N noticed Charlie just awkwardly standing there, spacing out. “Charlie, dear, do you want some?”
Charlie snapped out of her trance, “Oh- no, uh, that’s okay! I’ll leave you two to it.” He gave them a thumbs up before leaving to the hallways of the hotel.
As she walked out of his office, she was surprised to see Angel and Husk standing next to each other, watching the whole things.
“So…since husk ain’t bettin’ it…” Angel began, a mishcevious mood setting in,
“…you wanna bet how loud they’ll get?”

an: i had a lot of fun writing this one, and i think it has a special place in my heart forever ♡ i’ll add you to the list! welcome lovely 💫
You’ve been seeing Charles for about four months now. In that time you haven’t introduced him to your son — Cody, who is seven. You were worried about him meeting your boyfriends and them leaving, which would mean they also leave him behind. So none of your boyfriends have ever met Cody.
Charles knows about Cody though, and vice versa. You’re currently dressing up to go out on a date with Charles as Cody sits on your bed, little feet dangling from the side. “You look so pretty mommy. Are you going on a date today?” The little boy rubs his eyes, visibly exhausted from the day. He has a lot of energy during the day and then he winds down and passes out by nine. He’s a lot like you in that sense.
You sit down on your bed next to him, pressing a kiss to his temple. “Thank you baby. Yes I’m going on a date with Charles today. He’ll be here soon to pick me up.” You see the gears turning in his little head, and he meets your eyes. “Do you trust him?” He asks, fiddling with the hem of your dress. A nervous tick he got from you no doubt.
“Yes angel, I trust him more than anyone. Do you want to meet him and see for yourself?” The only way Cody will be less worried about you is if he met Charles and saw for himself that he was a good guy. He nods, gathering himself up and running to the living room where Scooby Doo is playing on the tv, the babysitter that you got for tonight was still on the way so you wouldn’t be able to leave before she arrived.
You hear the distinctive sound of Charles’ car coming to a stop in-front of your house when you see Cody’s head shoot up, looking through the curtain at the car that stopped in front. “Woah” You hear him softly whisper to nobody in particular. You smile , making your way towards the front door to let Charles inside.
Charles looks absolutely incredible, not too fancy and not too casual. He kisses you on the cheek, aware of the little boy now sitting on the couch looking warily at him. “Hello my love, are you nearly ready to go?” He looks at Cody, smiling at him. “Hello Cody. It’s nice to officially meet you.” he shakes the little boy’s hand.
Cody smiles softly, “It’s nice to meet you, uncle Charles.” Your heart warms at the smile on Charles’ face. You walk to the bedroom. “I’ll be back in a few minutes, I just need to finish getting ready.” You sit down at your vanity, trying to finish your makeup as fast as you can to not leave Cody with Charles too long. You know Cody isn’t always comfortable at first with people, and you don’t want him to feel like that with Charles.
In the living room Charles hunches down to Cody’s level. “What’s wrong Cody? Did I do something wrong?” He wants to make a good impression on him, because he sees you and him being together for a long time. Cody looks at him with big eyes. “Do you really like my mommy?”
Charles’ heart aches as he looks at Cody. He’s trying to protect your feelings before you can get hurt. He’s probably seen you come back from other dates either absolutely exhausted or crying.Charles realises that Cody just doesn’t want you to go through that again.
Tears are now prominent on the little boy’s waterline as Charles gives his arm a reassuring squeeze. “I love your mom. She’s an incredible woman and I’d like to spend a long time making her happy. She means a lot to me, you know. And I’d like to make you happy too. I was thinking that we could go on a drive tomorrow if you’d like. We can go get ice cream and stop by any shop you want.” Charles notices the hint of excitement in Cody’s eyes. He also sees the relief in the little boy’s face, hearing Charles speak so lovingly about his mom.
Cody grins at him, “I’d love to! Your car is really cool. Does it go really fast?” Question after question falls from the little boy’s mouth, his excitement not contained anymore. Charles chuckles, sitting down on the couch next to Cody, answering every question he’s got.
You finally emerge out of the bedroom, hair done nicely, makeup finished as you make your way to the living room where you find no Charles and no Cody. How odd. As you begin searching you hear giggles coming from the kitchen and your heart swells at the image you see as you peek around the corner.
Cody’s sitting on the counter, a pancake in his mouth, laughing at Charles who’s attempting to flip the pan expertly as to flip the pancake around. He failed miserably as the pancake misses the pan and splats on the floor. Cody laughs loudly. “You’re so silly Charlie.”
A nickname. Cody gave Charles a nickname. You feel your heart ache as you smile at them. Charles has a faint flush to his cheeks when he spots you in the hallway, a smile on your face. “What’s going on in here? Are you burning my house down, Cha?” Cody turns his head to you, still happily snacking on a pancake that didn’t fall to the floor. “We’re making pancakes! Do you want one mommy?” Cody offers you a plate with a smiley-faced pancake and you can’t help but laugh. “Sure, thank you baby.” You sit down at the counter, enjoying the moment with them.
Charles made you call the babysitter to cancel. “Why would we go anywhere else when this is where I could only dream to be.” He took your hand as you’re now sitting on the couch. Cody sitting on his other side, you see Charles holding his hand as well. Your heart swells at the image, and you realise that this was what you’d dreamed of as a little girl. A perfect family.
“We can go on a date another day this week. This moment is more important.” Charles whispers, giving you a small kiss and continuing to watch the cartoons on tv.
You realise that this is how you’d be able to spend forever. With them. With Charles.
reblogs and comments are highly appreciated! ★

Chapter 1
Summary : As an unmarked and lonely omega you find a flyer for a service called The Omega Retreat.
You are paired with a compatible alpha to spend your heat or just a week at a luxurious cabin at a forest resort. Amenities and Utilities included. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, fresh air, as well as the company of an alpha of your choosing. What could possibly go wrong?
You tried to focus on your work, but you found yourself losing focus time and time again. Your eyes kept leaving the dull glow of your computer monitor to steal glances at your phone.
“You seem distracted.”
Her tone was playful, but the abrupt interruption still had you jumping in your seat. Your boss had snuck up behind you easily as you were rechecking your email on your phone.
“Geez, we’ll have to string a bell around you if you're going to sneak up on people.” You laughed back, reassured by her coy smile.
“Something’s got you in a good mood.” She hummed behind you.
“Oh, yeah I guess.” You try to hide your pink cheeks, too embarrassed over getting caught texting a new flame like a love-struck teenager.
“All the girls can smell the change. Even the betas, dear.” She sang back.
“Who is he?” She tried to hide her beaming smile behind the back of her hand as she leaned over on the wall of your cubicle.
You scoff, trying to cover your warm cheeks as you answer. “You sound more excited than my mother was.”
She gasped with a wide smile, like a schoolgirl getting gossip from a friend. Omega’s always connected more closely, and it warmed your heart that she could be equally happy for you. So, when she leaned in for a hint of another scent that may have been left to linger on your skin, you quickly answered the anticipation in her eyes.
“We haven’t met in person yet; you're not going to catch a whiff of him, so don’t bother trying.” You laughed up at her before she pulled away.
“No fun. You could at least tell me what he is.” You knew it had to be the question bugging her the most.
You hesitated for a second, biting back on your lip before whispering back, “An alpha.”
“I knew it!” She nearly jumped with delight, leading you to try and shush her before the other cubicles were privy to your personal business.
It made you happy that you could feel like you had bonds even at work, and we’re thankful for her gentle omega nature.
“Keep your voice down.”
“I’m sorry; I’m just so happy for you. After everything, I just..”
You didn’t want her to finish that sentence. Luckily for you, she wouldn’t, looking back into your saddened eyes instead. “I’m just so happy for you.”
“Thank you.”
“You think you’ll meet him soon?”
You chuckled alongside her, glad to have the conversation shift back to a lighter tone.
“We’ll see. We’ll see.” You shoo at her, hoping to get some of the work she’d given you done today.
She gets the message, realizing she’d been gushing for too long and had work of her own.
“Fine, but I expect an invite to that wedding.”
It was the last you heard of her before she walked back to her office.
You smiled back at your computer, a drab Excel sheet still painted over its background. You sighed back at it until a telltale ding rang across your previously ignored phone.
A relationship with an alpha was still scary, but Bucky seemed to dampen those worries every time you looked at his photo blipping over your screen.
You pulled the phone towards you to glance over the notification of Bucky’s message.
“I wait to see you tonight.” You read along with the small message box.
You ran your fingernail along the power button before pressing on it, letting the passcode window light up the screen before tapping on a handful of numbers.
You looked back at the few cubicles behind you, making sure you had a moment to answer.
“Me either. I can’t focus on work,” you typed fervently.
“I’d rather meet you in person, Omega." The message pops up in the next second.
You let out a breathy chuckle with a smile, still in disbelief that you could be his omega even in text.
“I know. Hopefully soon, but I’m excited about our video date.”
You were more than excited; it was all you could think about as the hours ticked away slower than they normally would. When 5 p.m. finally rolled around, you nearly lept from your seat. You nearly forgot to shut off your computer before grabbing your stuff and rushing away.
A giddy drive home was a delightful change of pace, spurring you to drive just a tick above the speed limit as you neared your little house.
You fly through the house, letting the door slam behind you before tossing your purse over the couch. You stumbled past the mirror, only to twist back towards it after catching sight of your messy hair.
Your fingers only tangle into it as you fight to take it out of its messy bun. You only tied it up halfway through the day for a little comfort, only to ruin all the work you put into it that morning.
You didn’t have any time to fuck with it now, yet you continue to burn through the few seconds you have left trying to tame your tired looks. Could each flyaway be seen through your laptop's webcam?
You stopped for a second, closing your eyes and sucking in an uneven breath before looking back up at your reflection.
You looked red—nothing new, of course—but not a face you wanted him to see, and yet there wasn’t anything you could do to fight it except to finally calm down.
Your hair wasn’t bad, and your reflection wasn’t meant to scare you, and as you continued to breathe, that red blush began to fade. You can do this.
You leave the mirror, setting your eyes on the laptop still sitting on the coffee table. You lowered yourself to the sofa to sit as comfortably as possible before pulling the computer to your lap and switching it on.
A brief photo of you with your arm wrapped around your mother’s shoulder flashed in the background of your screen before you set up the video call.
It was just more of those bouncing dots with a different ring as it all danced along a blue screen. You held your breath, waiting patiently for his image to take over. Yet, when the square zoomed over the page and movement took over your screen, every ounce of air seemed to force its way from your lungs.
He was there, tucking his hair behind his ear and smiling at his own screen as you gave a shocked smile.
“Hi!”
You mouthed back an overwhelmed ‘hi’ as you watched him intently. Your mouth moved in an attempt to form words, but you were far too mesmerized by the real alpha on your screen. That is, until his smile fell.
“Is your sound on? I can’t hear you.”
“Yes!” You were quick to reassure him, wanting desperately to see that smile set upon you again.
Just as you hoped, it was back in an instant after hearing your voice.
“Sorry, I was just a little speechless for a second.” You blinked at his image, wanting to make sure it was real as you spoke to it. “It’s amazing to finally see the real you. Not that I thought your photos were fake..uh it’s just.” You fought your way through your ramblings as he chuckled at your giddy and nervous demeanor.
“No, I know what you mean. It’s so exciting to finally see you, Omega.”
It was like a dream, finally laughing and talking where you could see one another and study each of his expressions as he took each word that left your stuttering lips. Hours pass, and the conversation continues to burn through the night as it’s carried happily between the two of you.
It was so much better, but not nearly enough. A frustration shared by both you and him began to show as the veneer hiding it broke away.
“But, I wanna bury my face in your neck.” His voice deepens, showing a glimpse at a small possessive side. It was something you’d initially feared from an alpha.
“I gotta see you for real.”
It’s so sudden, you could hardly believe it would always be like this for omegas, but how could someone who had shut themselves away for so long really know?
You think back on what others spoke of during their tales of pleasure and even the more harrowing words from your physician only a few weeks prior. They’d cut off your suppressants ‘for your own safety’, and urged you to seek a sexual partner in the most blatant terms. But, they weren’t wrong, and with another possibly fatal heat on the horizon, you had to make a very difficult choice.
“Maybe we should. It's just...” You stopped for a second to calm yourself. “It hasn’t been very long, and you're already..so smitten.”
“Can you blame me?” His voice rang low over the speaker yet still sang through your worries so melodically.
His tone drops, becoming more serious and heavy, so much so that it only echos the ever-grave voice that bounced around the back of your mind. “What are you scared of?”
It hit close to home, like he could be looking right through you and seeing every mounting fear you tried so hard to bottle up.
“It's just, with a heat coming in a couple weeks..” you tried to ignore the breaking of your own voice as you spoke. You didn’t want this to be the reason why, and you didn’t want it to be so soon that you two had to meet or finally be intimate. “...and I just don’t want to rush things. But I agree; maybe we should consider meeting in person soon."
You fought not to let your true emotions show and not to let your true fears come to light in front of him. It was a relief when his face lit up with so much joy. He just stared back at you, his eyes beaming through the screen.
You could nearly cry. After ripping off this first bandage, it was such a relief that you finally felt you could breathe properly. You chuckled happily together, taking in each other's joyous reaction when he finally spoke again.
“I can send you an invitation right away. I can be there for you.” He spoke so passionately, looking at you with big, wet blue eyes before typing away at the keys on his keyboard.
“W-what invitation?” You nearly coughed on the words as they left your throat.
You do think back on the vacation packages on the original website and how they boasted about safety as well as elegance. The thought of having that kind of special getaway with the Alpha often, finally seeing Bucky where the sun could hit his skin instead of in the glow of your laptop monitor.
But, he was still technically a stranger, in spite of the two of you consistently sharing messages over the course of several weeks. Running away with him seemed, in the most juvenile sense, stupid. Yet, a twinge in your stomach urged you to leap at his offer.
“It is such a beautiful resort.” You chuckled nervously. You recalled all the photos you’d scrolled through before he’d matched you on the website.
“I’ll meet you anywhere you want me to, Omega. I just want to feel you so bad.” The low drag of his voice wasn’t unfamiliar by now, after having heard similar sentiments during a steamier exchange over a phone call. You felt a little embarrassed as your skin started to flush again.
“I don’t want to make you spend that much money on me.”
"This is not about money. I just want everything to be perfect for you.”
You try to force yourself to speak, but each word falls flat on your tongue. He was offering you what felt like a lifeline with open arms. You never wanted something like this to progress so damn quickly, but maybe you were really that desperate. Maybe you were really that scared.
It was so nice to be wanted, and by him especially, an alpha unlike any other you’d ever met. You still wanted time to think about it, but what time do you have left before a possible disaster? The date of your heat was growing closer, but you had to afford at least a night to ponder something like this.

Hate and love
Hello!
This one is from a request, you still can ask me to write something if you want to :)
I have to say that I'm not really sure about this one, but here it is.
Enjoy ♥
TW : Angst, harassment, divorce, loneliness.
______________________________________________________________
Your arrival in Barcelona at the winter transfer almost a year ago has gone rather well. You quickly bonded with most of the players and you didn’t have any trouble becoming a part of the FC Barcelona family. You maybe wasn't in the Top 3 of the public favorite players, but you don't really mind. You were a bit sad about the departure of some of them this summer, especially Jenni and Ana who were kind of mentors for you during these few months. And even if you continue to exchange news with them, you must admit that it is not the same.
Playing previously in Seville, you already knew quite well some of the players of the team, usually staying on the pitch after the matches to chat a little. You were separated during the World Cup, your national team not being strong enough to pass the qualifications you were in the first to return to training in Barcelona. This did not prevent you from making the trip to Australia to support your friends and obviously the Spanish national team.
You celebrated their victory from the VIP party with friends and family before returning to Barcelona in your daily routine. The world champions have gradually returned to training and you have welcomed new players to the team, always in a good mood.
Everything seems perfect told like that, yet there is something that bothers you since your arrival in Barcelona.
Aitana Bonmati.
She never seemed very happy to see you arrive and you never understood why. At first you said to yourself that she was perhaps afraid that your arrival would cause an imbalance in the group, as can happen sometimes when an element has a too strong personality. Some are afraid of change and you have not asked yourself more questions than that, letting this information slip into a corner of your brain. She wasn’t necessarily part of the small group of girls you trained with regularly anyway since you don’t play in the same spot on the field.
But this summer, you could see that the new arrivals had the right to a big smile and other privileges to which you were not entitled. It’s not really a question of ego, but you don’t understand what you did to her to make her react this way with you. And that's hurt.
You have even noticed with the passing of time that she tends to be rather unpleasant with you, not responding to your hello when you arrive in the locker room for example. It happens to her to roll discreetly her eyes when you speak and you even surprised once Ona throwing her an elbow in the ribs while making the big eyes. It was a relief to see that you were not crazy and that your teammates were taking your side, but it also confirmed what you thought.
And gradually, it plunged you into a kind of constant anxiety, reminding you of some of your traumas during your childhood and adolescence. During which you were often mocked, the girl who preferred to play football rather than dance. Your father always supported you in your choices, unlike your mother, your big brother and your big sister. When they separated you went to live with him and he sacrificed a lot so that you would be where you are today, but you never had the heart to tell him about the harassment you were experiencing at school.
**********
"Can I talk to you?"
Alexia’s voice surprises you while you were focused on the laces of your Converse, making you jump a little. Lost in your thoughts, you were ruminating about the disaster you were during this training. You didn’t put a single ball in the net, you got so distracted that you got a remonstrance from Jona and you almost kill Mapi with a bad pass. Mapi preferred to laugh and quickly came to reassure you by giving you a friendly slap in the back and a hug, to your greatest relief. You would have been horrified to be hated by another of your teammates.
"Sure" you mumble without looking at her.
Alexia’s voice was sweet when she offered to follow her to one of the conference rooms and you complied after picking up your bag and stuff. All the other girls have already returned and the corridors now seem deserted.
When you arrive in the room, you watch Alexia open the blinds slightly as you stand against the wall, very close to the door. You’re anxious and just waiting to be scolded. It often happened like this, teachers taking you aside to say that you weighed on the morale or level of the class. That you had to work on it if you wanted to be accepted and have good results. But no one ever seemed to wonder why you didn’t get along with your classmates. No one ever noticed or understood the harassment you were experiencing. You never mentioned that either, but you would have given ten years of your life for someone to notice. Anyone.
So when Alexia turns to you with an almost maternal expression, it completely disarms you. Her eyes were soft and you can easily detect a form of concern in it.
"You can come closer, I won’t eat you" Alexia gently smiles before sitting on one of the tables, probably to make this conversation less formal.
After hesitating for a second, you settle down in front of her playing nervously with your hair.
"What can I do for you?" you ask, instead of "How are you gonna let me know that I’m gonna heat up the backup bench over the next few weeks?"
"I just wanted to make sure that everything was fine. You seem a little out of place these last few days and it’s starting to worry us. I talked with Jona about it today"
She seems embarrassed to tell you that she told someone else about you without you knowing, making you frown. Your facial expression is probably misunderstood by your captain as she hastens to add
"Don’t take this the wrong way. we’re just worried about you"
"I... I'm fine"
You shrug before biting your lip. You are a bad liar, you know it. And it didn't fool Alexia.
"You don’t have to tell me if you don’t feel comfortable with it. But there are other people here who will listen to you with pleasure."
"Don’t worry about me. It was just a time like this, but I’ll be fine"
Because it's what you always did. Figuring and fighting things alone, even if you have now friends who you trust and who you know you can count on.
"You don't have to do that alone, you know"
"Why do you even care?"
You roll your eyes. Sur Alexia is a great captain, and you like her a lot. As a friend of course, but you can't denied that she deserve her title. Like most other girls she is sincerely kind and knows how to distinguish between competition and friendships in the locker room. This is an example for you, as it is for many other girls. And even if she knows all this, she remains modest and does not take the big head. Pretty impressive, in your opinion.
"Is that even a question Y/N?"
Alexia laughs, but it’s a surprise laugh. She seems surprised at the sincerity of your question. And, seeing that you don't answer, she gently shakes her head before answering you.
"Because we care, you're part of this family and even if half of us are totaly crazy, we care for each other. Whatever your problem is, you don't have to figure out alone."
And these sentences, even if it seems to be the most natural thing for Alexia, break down the barriers you have put up until now. You feel tears wet your cheeks without being able to do anything to stop them. As if the dam that you had formed all these years had broken and all the tears that you had retained until today finally decided to come out. And obviously, it bothers you terribly.
You mumble excuses between two sobs, but after more or less calling you an idiot, Alexia breaks the distance between you two to take you in her arms and rock you against her. You don’t know how long you stay like this, but you still stop crying.
So you tell her everything.
The harassment when you were little, from part of your family and the children in your classes. The divorce of your parents which you feel responsible despite everything, this feeling of loneliness that you have since you were born certainly. This feeling of never being fully understood by anyone, until you arrived here. And then you talk about your teammate who reminds you of that, without giving her name. You don’t want to be a problem and Alexia doesn’t ask you to name her. Maybe because she already knows who she is?
The blonde listens to you without saying a word, patiently wiping the tears that continue to roll on your cheeks. When you are silent, exhausted by these confessions and your tears, she speaks again in a calm and soothing voice.
"I’m not going to pretend that I understand you because I was lucky enough to have a family that always supported me. I wouldn’t be here without them, honestly."
The bond between Alexia and her mother, even her sister is know by anyone. You nod, still looking at her.
"But you, you made your way all by yourself. You're only 21 Y/N, you don't realise how strong you are. But being strong doesn't always mean you have to be alone. You have friends here, people who love you and care for you. You are not alone anymore."
With that you smile at her, feeling relieved. As if the weight of all these years were coming off your shoulders. You even feel like you can breathe better. So you thank Alexia, with simple words but you couldn’t explain how much you think about them. As she lays a kiss on your cheek, you put your arms around her neck to hug her and press your words. She gives you your hug back before training you out of the room. Tomorrow is another day and you promise to do better than that.
**********
The rest of the workouts of the week are much better and you decide to completely ignore Aitana. You remain polite nevertheless, but you act as if she's not there. And this seems to annoy her even more but you decided that's not your problem. Many times you feel her look burn your back and you have time to see her black look before she realizes that you are looking at her and she looks away.
But your morale and your game are back to normal and it’s a great relief for you. For Alexia and your coach too, the man simply slips you a short compliment at the end of a session. No need to make tons and that’s enough for you.
The last practice before the next game goes as usual. You do your warm-ups with your fellow defenders, then you are shuffled for courses and drills before a five-player mini-team tournament is organized. You feel a form of anxiety that makes your heart beat when your team is against Aitana, but you decide to focus on the game.
It goes pretty well until you are tackled a little too ferociously by someone from the opposing team. The pain in your ankle and instantaneous and you can’t hold a cry of pain as you collapse to the ground.
"What the fuck Aitana?" Mapi snaps, but you don't really care for now.
The second duel that took place next to you seems to have stopped too, but the tears of pain that fill your eyes prevent you from seeing it for the moment.
"You're ok?"
Irene has knelt beside you and you feel a compassionate hand behind your back. Long black hair obscuring part of the view informs you that it's Ingrid. You answer a simple no with a nod and a few minutes later you are transported to the infirmary. Ona offered to accompany you and you agreed, realizing that you didn't want to be alone.
**********
"Sprain" informs you the nurse and you let yourself go against the file of the infirmary bed on which you are. "It means rest for two weeks."
You pout, but turn your attention to Ona when she places a friendly hand on your arm. You are so used to spending this kind of time alone that you sometimes forget for a few seconds that she is with you. You must be able to easily win the worst friend award.
"At least it’s not the ligaments" Ona said softly.
"You’re right" you sigh.
She gives you a compassionate smile and you assure her that she can take a shower and change. You still have the prescription to wait and the nurse must come back with your brace and crutches. After making sure you weren’t going to go home with an Uber but with her and Lucy, she eventually left the room. She even offers to inform the rest of the team of your injury and you accept willingly, not wanting to go to put a show there downstairs.
A few minutes pass and you always wait when someone knocks on the door.
"I still haven’t finished Ona, but you can come in."
Except that it is not Ona who enters, but Aitana. The look fixed on her shoes and the air of someone who goes to the torture room. And this time, the anger you had not yet felt takes hold of you.
"I came to apologize" Aitana mumbles without turning her eyes towards you.
"Well, it's done" you answer coldly, turning your back on her.
You don’t want to look at her. You’re mad at her, at her behavior. That she doesn’t like you is one thing, but that she makes you unable to play for two weeks is another.
"It wasn't voluntary"
You hold a sarcastic laugh and slowly shake your head.
"Ok."
Aitana seems surprised at your reaction, but you don’t care. It's true that usually you are more the one who flees the conflict and who prefers to go with the idea of the person in front of you to please her. She stands there and it annoys you. So you suddenly turn your head in her direction and you talk to her dryly.
"All right, you can go now. Just leave me alone."
The tone of your voice seems to make her react since she frowns and steps in your direction.
"Don’t talk to me like that."
You feel your heart racing, you have never been very good at dealing with disputes and emotions. Until now you had managed to buried them deep inside when they became too powerful but it seems that since your confessions to Alexia you are no longer able to do so. She says it’s a pretty good things, but you're not really sure about that.
"Don’t tell me how to talk to you when you’ve been treating me like shit since I got here, Aitana."
Aitana is stunned. She never saw you angry and expected you to accept her apology so that she could get out of this room as quickly as she got in. Her lost look irritates you a little more, she knew very well what she was doing by behaving as she did since the beginning. And you gradually realized that you didn’t deserve this.
"Who made you come here? Mapi, Alexia, Jonatan?"
She blushs and it's enough for you to understand that you are right. If she had the choice, she would never had been here, begging for your forgiveness.
"Get out" you groan, turning your back at her once again.
She didn't and you sigh before getting up as you can. It may not be the most graceful way to do it and it may take some drama off the stage, but you don't care.
"I said get out" you say, raising your voice now. "You don't want to be here and I don't want you here."
But she’s still not moving and your patience is coming to an end. From now on there is nothing else that separates you, except the bed on which you were lying a few moments ago. The nurse still hasn’t come back, but this might be the time to do it please.
"I- " began Aitana, without saying anything more.
"What do you want? Two weeks without me aren't enough? Want to break my other leg too?"
The frustration you feel about not understanding Aitana’s reaction and behavior may be pushing you a little to say things you never had the courage to say before. But it was less positive to return the floor to your interlocutor, whose face and eyes finally come alive again.
"I told you I didn't mean it" she half-screams and you snort. "Maybe I was wrong for acting with you like I did but..."
"Maybe?!" you interrupt her coldly.
"You made my life a living hell! You came here with your damn smile and skills and all my life fell appart!" Aitana is clearly shooting now and you blink, surprised by her rage. "I was in an healthy relationship, happy in my life and with this team. And you came along and everything fell apart! I am straight ok, I am so fucking straight but all I can think about all the time is you! I hate you for the way you make me feel but I'm not fucking able to change it even if I tried since you are here"
It is your turn to remain silent, your brain analyzing each of the words that she just said. And all this has absolutely no meaning for you, except the part where she confesses her hatred to you perhaps. Aitana’s breathing is fast and noisy, you can’t tell if it’s that or your screams that didn’t allow you to realize that you were no longer alone in the room.
"Hmm."
You look over Aitana’s shoulder and you realize that Ona has returned to the room with Lucy holding your crutches and a sheet of paper while she herself carry your bag.
"Maybe it’s time to go home"
Lucy’s perfectly expressionless face keeps you from knowing how long she’s been here. Two steps behind her, Ona makes her look between you and Aitana without saying anything. You nod and pass in front of Aitana with a limp, Ona reacting by breaking the last meters to help you take your crutches in hand.
You follow them silently to Lucy’s car and after some arguments with Ona you finally agree to sit in the passenger seat. By taking your phone out of your pocket, you realize that you have received some messages from your teammates wishing you a good recovery. And you quickly understand that they have created a tournus between them so that you are not alone at home. There will apparently be only during the trip next weekend where you will not have peace. But it makes you smile and a little forget what just happened.
"You want to eat with us tonight?" Lucy asks.
"Nah I'm good thank you. I usually watch some crap TV show on friday night."
You see Lucy peeking at you to make sure you’re not playing superhero and you feel the way she’s measuring you. You look up and sigh.
"I assure you it’s okay. Enjoy your Friday night, I’ll probably go to bed early anyway."
This time it's Ona that Lucy looks through the rearview mirror but neither of them insists, to your relief. Being alone doesn't bother you. Once at home, Ona helps you get out of the vehicle and before she can open her mouth, you speak again.
"I promise, i'm fine Ona."
"All right. I’ll leave you alone on the condition that you swear on your cat’s head that you will write me if you're not okay."
"Leave the poor cat alone" you joke, making her smile. "I promise."
**********
The doorbell on your front door makes you frown. You’re sitting on your couch, a blanket on your legs and your cat on your stomach. Your sprain is better, it must be said that after a week and a half of rest it would be dramatic that this is not the case. You have resumed muscle training, but it is obviously out of the question that you start running again for now. You can now move without your crutches and it was a great relief to be able to get rid of them. Your ankle is still carefully immobilized but you are now doing quite well.
Salma left your apartment half an hour ago, and you’re supposed to stop receiving visitors. Your father phones you every day and hasn’t done it yet, but he has no reason to show up here unannounced. That’s really not his style.
The bell rings again, waking up your cat who is rustling a little before going to eat croquettes in the kitchen. So you get up from the couch and go to the door, opening it without removing the safety chain to see who it is. And almost immediately you close the door, but the fingers of Aitana who slip into the opening prevent you to do so.
"Don’t make me break your fingers"
"Just let me in"
"No? What the hell"
"Y/N, please…"
The despair of her voice makes you flinch and you press your forehead against the door. You’re too sensitive to people’s distress to leave someone with that feeling. Even if it was Aitana herself who put you in this emotion there a few weeks ago. You sigh and, already regretting your gesture, you open the door to let her in. You avoid looking at her when she enters your home, closing the door behind her.
"You have a cat?"
You refrain from pointing out that if she had been interested in you instead of making you regret your arrival, she would know. If you don’t talk about your cat several times during the day, there is a problem.
"How do you know where I live?"
Aitana stop looking at your cat who spread out on your plaid to turn to you. With your arms crossed, you wait for his answer with a certain hint of curiosity. Aitana has never set foot in your house and if you are not mistaken, she does not really live in the neighborhood.
"I asked Irene"
She shrugs and you signal her to settle down on the couch. You go back to your place, gently pushing your cat to be a little more comfortable. With a simple look he made you understand that you're annoying, making you smile gently. You caress him to apologize as he stretches, rolls into a ball and closes his eyes.
"I came to apologize"
Sitting on the edge of the couch, Aitana looks at you with the same suspicion as if she had been the last piece of meat in the middle of a horde of hungry lions.
"I’ve already heard that before" you answer by arching an eyebrow
"I know. But I just... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, really. My problems shouldn’t have affected you. I should have handled things differently, but I was confuse and scared."
She looks sincere and does not look away when you judge her with yours. Next to you your cat stretches lazily before turning around on the other side and continuing his nap.
"Ok. Apologizes accepted"
She looks at you so long it makes you uncomfortable. You have never been in her presence for so long and you find yourself nervously wrapping your hair around your finger.
"If I could, I would do things differently, you know? I understand it’s out of the question that something is happening between us now, but I would like to start all over again. Get to know you, possibly offer you a date and then two if things go well."
You’re slowly biting your lip looking at her. You’d be lying if you said that the words she said in the infirmary didn’t mark you. You were far from imagining that the reason for his behavior was related to an attraction to you. You think it’s pretty toxic, but you like to think people deserve a second chance. After biting your lip, you bend over and reach out to her.
"Well... Hi. I'm Y/N, nice to meet you."

“little besties” — Rory meets Buddy
a little one shot where Rory and Buddy meet for the very first time <33
as per usual, thank you to @scribblesofagoonerr for all of the help on this!
September 2023
“Are you excited, Roo?” Beth asked Rory, braiding her hair as she sat at the kitchen island.
Rory silently nodded before eating another piece of fruit. Today Kim was hosting a BBQ for team bonding night, or day, and it was the first one Rory was attending. She’d met all of the team multiple times by now but the only one she hadn’t met was Buddy, Leah’s daughter.
She’d had been to training a few times with Beth and Viv but Buddy had always either been at nursery or with Jordan at her house so they were yet to meet. Rory had heard all about Buddy from Monkey and was excited to meet her but like usual, her anxiety was high about going to new places.
Beth could sense Rory's anxiety, so she sat down beside her before placing her on her knee. "I know you’re feeling a little nervous, but remember, Vic will be there. And you like Vic, don’t you?"
Rory perked up at the mention of Vic, nodding again, though her eyes were still slightly wary. "Yeah. Vic is fun."
Beth smiled, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Exactly. And we’ll all be there with you. Plus, you’ll get to meet Buddy. She's really sweet, just like her mum."
Viv appeared in the doorway, car keys in hand. "Ready to go?" she asked, her eyes softening when she saw Rory’s quiet anxiety. She walked over and kissed the top of Rory’s head. "We’ll have a good time, I promise. We can leave anytime you want to if you’re not enjoying it.”
Beth finished Rory’s hair while Viv packed a few things into Rory’s backpack. Soon enough they were putting their shoes on and heading to Kim’s house. Despite their best efforts, the car ride was mostly silent. Rory sat in the back, clutching Twix tightly like always. When they arrived at Kim’s place, Rory’s anxiety only heightened.
When they pulled up to Kim’s house, Rory stayed glued to her seat, her small hands clutching Twix—the stuffed rabbit she never went anywhere without—tightly against her chest.
Beth turned in her seat, offering her daughter a reassuring smile. "It’s okay, Roo. We’re right here. How about we just go inside and see how you feel? No rush, no pressure."
Rory hesitated, her gaze dropping to her lap. “How about we just say hi to a few people, then if you’re still not feeling up to it, we can hang back for a bit. I’ll stay with you the whole time." Viv suggested.
Rory nodded slowly but didn’t make any move to get out of the car. "You’ve got Twix, and you’ve got us. You’re safe, okay?" Viv tried to reassure her.
With that, Rory finally unbuckled her seatbelt, letting Viv help her out of the car. “Up please?” She murmured, holding her arms up.
“Of course!” Viv laughed, hoisting Rory up onto her hip while Beth got her backpack.
They made their way down the path, ringing Kim’s doorbell before waiting for a while. Leah answered the door, balancing Buddy on her hip, who was clinging to her with an iron grip.
“Hi, Buddy!” Beth smiled kindly at the 2-year-old settled on Leah’s hip, not expecting to see such a grumpy toddler as she whined, “Oh no, what’s the matter, huh? This isn’t the happy toddler I expected today.”
“Someone just woke up from their nap and they're still tired,” Leah informed them while smiling playfully, “Are you going to say hello to Auntie Beth and Auntie Viv, Bubba? They’ve brought Rory as well, do you remember me telling you about her before we came?”
“Hi little one,” Viv smiled kindly at Buddy, who in turn just frowned and nestled her head in Leah’s neck, “You want to go back to sleep, don’t you?”
“I think she would if she could, wouldn’t you Bubba?” Leah chuckled and stepped aside to let them inside the house, “Hi Roo, I love your dungarees. They’re lovely!”
Rory peeked up from Viv’s shoulder, giving Leah a shy smile. They stepped inside and Viv set Rory down. Rory held on tight to Viv’s hand.
Beth leaned down, "You’re doing great, Roo. Let’s just head outside, and we’ll find Vic, okay?"
Rory nodded, gripping Viv’s hand even tighter as they made their way toward the garden where the rest of the team was gathered. The chatter and laughter from outside made Rory pause just before the door leading to the garden.
Viv crouched down next to her, looking into her eyes. "Remember, we can leave anytime you want. You’re in control here."
Just as Rory was about to take another tentative step forward, she heard a familiar voice call out from the garden. "Roo!"
It was Vic. Rory’s eyes lit up immediately at the sound of her name, and her whole demeanour shifted. With a newfound sense of excitement, she tugged at Viv’s hand, urging her forward.
They stepped outside, and Vic came over with a wide grin, opening her arms. "There’s my little Roo!"
Rory didn’t hesitate. She let go of Viv’s hand and ran straight into Vic’s arms, giggling as Vic scooped her up and spun her around in the air. "You made it!" Vic said, laughing.
Rory clung to Vic, her earlier anxiety already fading as Vic carried her around the garden. "Come on, let’s go say hi to everyone!" Vic said, carrying Rory confidently, making her feel safe.
Beth and Viv shared a relieved smile, watching as Rory’s nervousness melted away in the company of her favourite person. Viv slipped an arm around Beth’s waist, and Beth leaned in, whispering, "Vic will help her settle in."
Viv nodded, her eyes following Rory as she happily chatted with Vic. "Yeah, she’ll be just fine."
As Vic carried Rory around the garden, stopping to chat with teammates, Rory’s shyness gradually turned into curiosity. Vic was good at making her feel included without overwhelming her, and with Rory nestled comfortably on her hip, they approached a small group of people by the BBQ.
Kim, busy flipping burgers, turned with a wide smile. "There’s our little Meadema!" she said, pointing her tongs playfully at Rory. "Hungry yet, Roo? We’ve got all sorts of yummy things coming up!”
Rory smiled but shook her head, still a little shy in the larger group. Vic squeezed her gently. "We’ll get you something when you’re ready, okay?" she whispered, earning a small nod from Rory.
Vic continued making her way around the garden, stopping by various teammates, each greeting Rory with warm smiles and playful comments. As they approached Monkey, she couldn't resist teasing Rory a bit.
“Roo,” Monkey exclaimed, from where she sat beside Lia, “Have you grown since I last saw you? I swear that you’re even taller than Vic now!” She said, playfully gasping.
Rory giggled, her shyness momentarily forgotten. “Nooo, I’m not that tall!” she replied, clutching Twix.
“Are you sure?” Monkey grinned, shrugging her shoulders, “It won’t take you long to catch up to her,”
“Oh like you can talk,” Vic remarked, motioning to Monkey’s own short height.
“Ignore Monkey, Roo,” Lia shook her head and rolled her eyes, “Monkey’s being a bit silly like she is sometimes.”
“Me, silly? That’s outrageous!” Monkey mocked a pout as the group around her laughed, “I’m not silly– Life’s dull sometimes and you gotta have fun!”
“Monkey’s always silly!” Rory laughed, burying her head into Vic’s shoulder. Vic continued walking with Rory, taking her to meet more of the team.
“Roo!” Steph called, as she entered the garden. “Hi, sweetheart!”
Rory’s face lit up as she wriggled out of Vic’s arms and rushed over to Steph. “Steffy!” she smiled, launching herself into Steph’s embrace.
Steph swung Rory around in a circle, her laughter contagious. “There’s my girl! How’ve you been?”
Rory hugged her tightly. “Good!”
Steph held Rory close for a moment before setting her back down, kneeling so she was at eye level with her. "Guess who’s here?" Steph said, grinning.
Rory tilted her head, curious. "Who?"
"Calvin!" Steph said, “He’s over with Monkey, your Mummy, Leah and Buddy!” Steph smiled as she pointed to where Monkey was, who was now joined by Beth, Leah and Buddy.
Rory's eyes widened with excitement. "Calvin!" she exclaimed, bouncing on her toes.
Steph chuckled. "You remember Calvin, right? He’s been missing you!”
Rory nodded eagerly. Calvin, Steph’s energetic dog, had always been one of her favourites. She loved playing fetch with him during the few times she had visited Steph’s place.
“Wanna to go say hi?” Steph asked, standing back up.
Rory grabbed her hand without hesitation, practically pulling Steph towards where Monkey, Beth, and Leah were sitting. Sure enough, Calvin was there, tail wagging, eyes bright with excitement as he watched everyone, ready to play.
As soon as Calvin spotted Rory, his tail wagged faster, and he bounded over to her. “Calvin!” Rory giggled, crouching down to pet him. He nudged his nose into her hand, licking her fingers and making her laugh even harder.
“I think he might’ve missed you,” Monkey remarked as she grinned at the little girl, “Bet you he’s been waiting for you to play fetch with him as well,”
Rory’s smile widened as she scratched behind Calvin’s ears. “Can I throw his ball?” she asked, glancing up at Steph, who was now standing next to Viv.
“Of course!” Steph said, tossing Rory Calvin’s favourite tennis ball.
Rory caught it with both hands, her nervousness from earlier completely gone as she stood up and threw the ball as far as her little arms could manage. Calvin took off after it, running across the garden at full speed, his playful bark making everyone chuckle.
“Good throw, Roo!” Beth called out, “Maybe we need to get you into a sport that involves throwing a ball!”
Viv smiled too, watching as Rory ran after Calvin when he brought the ball back, giggling uncontrollably as the dog pranced around her, refusing to give the ball up easily.
“She seems like she’s having a great time now,” Leah piped in, still holding Buddy on her lap who’s reluctant to let go, “Do you want to go and join them, Bubba?”
“No, wan’ stay with ‘ou!” Buddy whined, clutching hold of Leah’s t-shirt, “Stay ‘ere, Mummy!”
“That’s alright, you can stay here with me. You don’t have to play if you don’t want to,” Leah reassured the clingy little girl on her lap as she ran her fingers through Buddy’s curls.
Beth nodded as she watched Rory run around, completely carefree. "Yeah, she’s really come out of her shell. I think seeing Calvin did the trick."
Viv chuckled, “Who knew the way to ease her nerves was a dog and a ball?"
Steph laughed, “Maybe you guys need to get a dog.”
Viv shook her head, “No way! That’s too much, a four-year-old and a dog? No chance.”
They watched as Rory continued to play with Calvin, the rest of the team occasionally joining in, throwing the ball for the energetic dog. Rory’s laughter filled the air, and it was clear that any trace of anxiety she had felt earlier was long gone.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna come and join?” Monkey tried to coax her little sister out of Leah’s arms, “We could even find a football and kick it around a bit, huh? Come and meet Roo properly, you two are gonna be little besties, I just know it!”
“No! I wan’ stay with Mummy,” Buddy whined stubbornly, shaking her head and still keeping a tight grip on Leah’s t-shirt, “Tell her to stop it, Mummy!” She pouted.
“Monkey, she’s fine staying here with me if she doesn’t want to play,” Leah told the teenager, “Leave her be, please.” She added.
“I’m bored though,” Monkey huffed dramatically and flopped down into the chair, “I’m also hungry. How long until we eat?” She wondered.
“Not too much longer now,” Kim chimed in from where she stood in front of the BBQ, “How about you be helpful and grab some plates from inside if you’re that bored?”
“You seriously trust Monkey to not drop any of the plates?” Lia remarks, furrowing her eyebrow, “That sounds like an accident waiting to happen, no?”
Kim hummed in agreement, “Good point, maybe not then. Stay where you are, you can’t hurt yourself or anyone else then.”
“I’m not that clumsy,” Monkey huffed and crossed her arms in protest, “I’m pretty sure Lessi is worse now!”
“That’s debatable,” Steph piped in.
After a while, Rory's energy began to fade, and she wandered over to where Beth and Leah were sitting. Buddy, perched on Leah’s lap, was still clinging tightly to her with her head resting against her chest looking a little grumpy.
“Here comes’ Rory the racing car,” Monkey grinned, turning her attention to the little girl, “Maybe you’ll wanna kick the ball around with me instead, huh?”
“I’m tired,” Rory murmured, lacking the energy after running around with Calvin for a bit.
"Hey, Roo," Beth said with a warm smile as she pulled Rory up onto her lap. "Did you have fun?"
Rory nodded, slightly out of breath from running around with Calvin. Her eyes soon landed on Buddy, who was staring back at her with curious eyes.
“Who’s that?” Rory questioned curiously, feeling more braver to ask the question now than when she first arrived at Kim’s house.
Beth noticed Rory’s interest and smiled. "Roo, this is Buddy," she said softly. "Remember I told you about her?"
“Yeah,” Rory replied in agreement.
“Bubba, do you remember me telling you about Roo?” Leah spoke gently, adjusting Buddy on her lap so she could properly face Rory now, “This is Rory, Auntie Beth and Auntie Vivi’s little girl. You two are close in age,”
“Hi,” Buddy spoke quietly, still feeling grumpier than her usual self but she was curious to know who Rory was, “M’ Buddy!” She waved shyly, still apprehensive to meet someone new.
Rory blinked, "Hi," she murmured, waving back with a small smile.
“I told you that you two will be little besties in no time,” Monkey chimed in as Buddy suddenly realised Monkey was there and leaned towards her, “Oh so now you want me, huh?”
“Be nice to her,” Leah told her pointedly.
Monkey rolled her eyes and scooped the 2 year old into her arms, “Come on, I’m always nice,” She murmured, settling Buddy on her lap, “Hey Buddy, did you know that Roo likes Lego too? How cool is that!” She exclaimed.
“Really? ‘Ou like Lego as well!” Buddy seemed even more curious now as a faint smile appeared on her face, “Me an Monkey always build Lego! Ou’ join us!”
“Okay,” Rory agreed early at the mention of Lego.
“Mummy!” Buddy looked back towards Leah who was watching the small interaction between the kids, “Me and Roo wan’ build Lego with Monkey please!”
“Oh you do, huh? Well I think that Auntie Kimmy might not have it here, bubba,” Leah explained to the eager 2 year old who’s mood had shifted dramatically at the mention of Lego, “Maybe you 3 can build it another day instead, yeah?”
“Boo!” Monkey exclaimed in protest, sticking her thumb down.
“Dat too bad,” Buddy frowned grumpily before she looked back towards Rory, “We ‘ave to play ‘nother time instead!”
“Okay,” Rory murmured in agreement, “We can play with Calvin though now!”
“Yeah!” Buddy’s eyes lit up suddenly, “Me like dogs, I ‘ave one at Mama’s house and his name is Blu!” She rambled excitedly, wriggling off Monkey’s lap.
“Mummy, Buddy likes dogs as well, and she has one!” Rory said in amazement over the news.
"I know, isn’t that exciting?” Beth explained to Rory. "Buddy talks a lot, doesn't she, huh?” She smiled, glancing at Leah, who chuckled.
"She sure does," Leah replied, amusedly as she continued to watch the interaction between them, . "She’s a chatterbox just like me.”
“Some would call it a yapper instead,” Viv joked with the blonde.
Rory could see Buddy’s curiosity peeking over her beloved stuffed rabbit, Twix, “Do you want to hold Twix? He’s really soft.”
“Yeah,” Buddy’s eye grew wide as she eagerly reached out for the rabbit offered to her, taking it and holding it in her small hands, “Twix is fluffy. I got Mr. Bear, he soft too!”
“That was kind of you, Roo,” Leah smiled, watching the exchange between the two, “Is he fluffy, bubba?”
Beth placed a kiss on Rory’s forehead, "You’re being such a good big girl, Roo."
Rory’s face lit up at the praise, and she glanced at Buddy, who was now hugging Twix tightly. "You can play with him for a while," Rory said. "He likes you."
“Wow, really?” Buddy exclaimed, excitedly as she was clearly thrilled with the new toy, “Thank ‘ou, Roo!”
A little later in the afternoon, Rory and Buddy were sitting on the grass, happily sipping on juice boxes after a round of fetch with Calvin. Rory was showing Buddy how to poke the straw into the juice box, and Buddy was giggling with every sip. The peaceful scene, however, didn’t last long.
“Hey!” Monkey exclaimed suddenly out of nowhere as she sat nearby with Lia and a few others, “Where’s my juice box?” She questioned with an exaggerated pout.
“Monkey, are you serious? You are 18-years-old,” Leah reminded her with an amused smile, from where she sat with Beth not too far over, “You don’t need a juice box.”
“This is such discrimination right now!” Monkey remarked, sitting up dramatically as she crossed her arms, “Absolutely outrageous!” She complained, making a big fuss out of it while playfully glaring at Leah.
“Oh for goodness sake,” Beth couldn’t help but laugh and roll her eyes, “Somebody get the big kid a juice box before she throws a hissy fit.” She joked, waving her hand in the air.
Everyone burst into laughter, and Leah shook her head, standing up to grab a spare juice box from the cooler. She tossed it to Monkey, who caught it with a grin, immediately poking the straw in with a triumphant air.
“Yay, juice!” Monkey exclaimed, doing a small dance in her seat before taking a sip of it and looking satisfied, “Thank you very much!”
“Unbelievable,” Leah chuckled, shaking her head at her eldests’ antics.
“I don’t know why you’re so surprised about this Le when she still orders’ a happy meal just so she can have the toys,” Lia reminded the blonde with an amused look on her face, “Did you really expect any difference with a juice box?”
“She has a point there,” Beth added in.
Rory and Buddy giggled at the exchange, watching Monkey sip her juice like one of the kids. Rory leaned over to Buddy, whispering, "Monkey is silly!”
“Yeah, Monkey’s silly!” Buddy nodded in agreement, “Mummy says that she’s a big kid!”
“Alright everyone, food is ready! Grab a plate and dig in!” Kim announced from the BBQ.
“Let’s go eat!” Rory said, bouncing to her feet and grabbing Buddy’s hand.
“Wait for me!” Buddy squealed, following closely behind as they raced toward the table laden with burgers, hot dogs, and a variety of sides.
“Whoa, slow down!” Viv called after them, chuckling at their enthusiasm. “Let me help you, yeah?”
Rory and Buddy reached the table first, Viv following close behind. Rory pointed at the burgers, “I want one of those please Mamma!”
“Me too!” Buddy echoed, bouncing on her toes.
Beth approached with a plate and smiled at the two girls. “Alright, let’s get you sorted out. What do you want on your burgers?”
“Cheese! I want cheese please!” Rory shouted, her excitement bubbling over.
“Me too! Cheese!” Buddy chimed in.
“Two cheese burgers coming right up,” Beth replied with a grin, piling cheese onto their plates before handing them over.
As they sat down together at a picnic table with their plates in front of them, Monkey plopped down beside them. Vic joined them, a plate of food in her hands.
“How are my two favourite girls doing?” She asked, ruffling Rory’s hair playfully.
“I'm enjoying mine, thanks Vicky P!” Monkey smiled, “Cheese is a bit plastic though, Kim could’ve done a bit better!”
“I’m glad to see you’re enjoying it Monkey.” Vic laughed, shaking her head as she sat down beside Rory. “Are you enjoying yours, Roo?”
“They’re nice!” Rory said, smiling wide. “Yummy burgers!” She smiled, holding the burger up to see Vic.
“Good, I’m glad you’re liking it!” Vic chuckled, taking a bite of her own food.
“Can we explore Kimmy’s house?” Buddy suddenly said after they’d finished their food.
Rory’s eyes lit up as she nodded. “Yeah! We could explore!”
“Exploring sounds fun,” Vic agreed with a grin, “But you should ask your Mummy’s first.”
“Can you take us?” Rory asked, turning to Vic with hopeful eyes.
Before Vic could answer, Monkey butted in, “Oooh, I’ll go with you both! I happen to know the best hiding spots– We can pretend like we’re pirates exploring treasure!”
Rory’s face lit up in excitement, but before she could agree, Beth interjected. “Monkey, the last time you took Buddy explore she came back with her knee scraped, and the first time you took Roo she was covered in mud.”
Leah chimed in, shaking her head with a smile. “You are officially banned from any ‘Monkey-led’ explorations, remember?”
Monkey dramatically placed a hand on her chest, pretending to be offended. “Accusations! False accusations!” She shouted aloud, “I’m safe and responsible, those just happened to be… very minor accidents though.”
“Nope, still a danger,” Beth said, laughing at Monkey’s exaggerated pout.
“That’s totally unfair,” Monkey mutters, arms crossed, “I would be a great guide with Buddy and Roo!”
Steph chuckled. “I’ll take them,” she offered, smiling at the two girls. “But we have to be good, okay? It’s Kimmy’s house and we need to be careful.”
Rory and Buddy bounced to their feet, nodding their heads. “Yes! Thank you, Steffy!”
Steph stood up, holding out her hands for the two girls. “Alright, adventurers. Let’s go explore the house!”
As they started toward the house, Monkey called after them, “I’ll wait here in case you need a real explorer!”
Steph led Rory and Buddy through the back door, their small hands holding each other. The girls immediately looked around with wide eyes, taking in the hallway lined with family photos and simple decor.
“Where should we start?” Steph asked, “You’ve been here before Buddy so why don’t we show Roo around?”
Rory pointed to the first door on their left. “There! Let’s see what’s in there!”
Buddy nodded eagerly, already taking a few steps toward it. “What’ in there, Steffy?”
Steph laughed softly. “You know that’s just the living room, but let’s go see.” She opened the door to reveal a cosy space with a large sofa, a TV on the wall, and shelves full of books and little knick-knacks.
Rory immediately darted toward the shelves, eyes scanning the rows of books. “Look at all the books!” she said excitedly.
Buddy, meanwhile, was more interested in a small basket of toys sitting in the corner for Kim’s nieces and nephews. “Toys!” she squealed, pulling out a stuffed bear. “Look, Roo! It’ bear!”
Rory giggled and left the books to join her. “He’s cute!” she said, picking up a stuffed rabbit from the basket. “They’re friends!”
The two girls sat for a moment, playing with the stuffed toys and imagining a little story between them. Steph smiled fondly, letting them explore, but after a few minutes, she said, “Alright, you two, let’s go see the other rooms.”
The girls popped up instantly, eager to see more. They rushed down the hallway, stopping at a closed door.
“What’ this one?” Buddy asked, her tiny hand already reaching up to the doorknob.
Steph opened it slowly. “This is just a guest room. Nothing too exciting.”
Inside was a simple bedroom with a neatly made bed, a dresser, and a window with light curtains fluttering in the breeze. Rory and Buddy tiptoed in, looking around as if they might find some hidden treasure.
Rory opened a drawer in the dresser and giggled when she found it empty. “Nothing here!”
“Well, it’s a guest room. Not many secrets in here,” Steph said with a smile. “Ready for the next one?”
The girls nodded eagerly, already moving toward the door. They reached the next room, which turned out to be the bathroom.
“Ooh!” Rory exclaimed as she peeked inside. “A big tub!” She leaned over to look inside it, fascinated for no reason other than it being slightly larger than the one at home.
Buddy, meanwhile, had discovered the cupboard under the sink and opened it to reveal neatly organized towels and a few cleaning supplies. “Just towels in ‘ere!” she called, a little disappointed.
“That’s because it’s a bathroom, silly,” Rory said with a giggle, closing the lid on the toilet. “Let’s find the next room!”
Steph led them to the final door in the hallway, opening it to reveal the master bedroom. “And this is the main bedroom, Kimmy’s room.”
It was a little bigger than the guest room, with a large bed and a small TV mounted on the wall. Rory and Buddy immediately ran to the closet, pulling the door open to reveal a collection of clothes hanging neatly.
“Wow, look at all these!” Rory said, running her fingers along the different shirts and dresses.
Buddy, meanwhile, found a pair of shoes on the floor and slipped her tiny feet into them. “I look like auntie Kimmy!” she said with a big grin, wobbling around the room in the shoes that were several sizes too big for her.
Rory burst into laughter, clapping her hands. “You look funny, Buddy!”
Steph chuckled and shook her head. “Alright, you two, let’s put the shoes back and head downstairs. There’s not much else to explore up here.”
Reluctantly, the girls returned the shoes and followed Steph out of the bedroom.
As Steph led Rory and Buddy back downstairs, they couldn’t help but continue chatting excitedly about their little adventure. By the time they reached the garden again, the girls were clearly winding down, the excitement of the day finally starting to wear off.
Beth and Leah were sitting together, with Viv sat on the other side as Beth cuddled into her. As soon as Rory and Buddy returned, they made a beeline for their mums, tired but happy. Rory climbed onto Beth’s lap, while Buddy let Leah pull her up onto her.
Beth wrapped her arms around Rory, brushing a hand through her hair. “Did you have fun exploring, Roo?”
Rory nodded sleepily against Beth’s chest, her eyelids already drooping. “Yeah, Mummy. We saw a big tub and lots of clothes. Buddy wore grown-up shoes!” she said with a giggle that was quickly fading into a yawn.
Leah smiled down at Buddy, “Did you? That sounds exciting, bubba,” she whispered, pressing a soft kiss to the top of Buddy’s head.
Viv leaned over, smiling at the sight of Rory slowly drifting off on Beth’s lap. “Looks like all the fun’s wore them out,” she said softly.
Beth nodded with a smile, pulling Rory closer. “Definitely. It’s been a long day of playing and exploring for them both.”
Buddy, now fully relaxed, curled up against Leah’s chest. “M’ tired, Mummy,” she mumbled, her little voice barely audible.
Leah stroked her back gently. “I know, bubba. It’s okay, you can rest now.”
As the sun began to set, the garden quieted down and the girls cuddled into their mums even more. Everyone spoke with hushed whispers, careful not to wake the two girls who were tired after a long day. It was clear that this was the start of the two of them being little besties.

please do a part two of I fell for you it is amazing
I fell for you. (part 2)
Azriel x f!Reader x Eris
Masterlist.
Part 1
Warnings; mentions of sex.
Okay today I got so inspired and realized that I would let Eris destroy me anytime he wished to. Part 3 coming soon!
“I think our lessons are over, there’s nothing else I can teach you!” Helion exclaimed.
“So I’m ready?” You asked wide-eyed.
“Yes! I’m so proud of you” he hugged you.
It has been a year since you left Velaris, you went to the day court and asked Helion if he could take you in and help you improve your healing skills. He was a great friend and teacher and after a year you could say that you became the best healer anyone could have in their court. Helion was informing you about everything that was happening in the night court since you left. Turns out Rhysand wanted you all together that night to announce that him and Feyre were expecting. You felt happy for them and finally you didn’t have a bitter taste in your mouth. Nesta and Cassian got married and are trying for a baby and Elain accepted the bond between her and Lucien. Helion had a sad expression when he informed you about Azriel. The shadowsinger broke down and quit his duties in order to heal, he searched for you and thankfully Rhysand promised Helion not to say anything about your whereabouts. When the spymaster visited the day court Helion glamoured you and put a spell on your room so no one could enter.
It broke your heart to hear his broken voice but you couldn’t go back. You couldn’t stay with him because of an ancient bond. You reconsidered everything in the time you spent here and decided that the mating bond was something meaningless, you now sought true love. Azriel left the next day and you didn’t hear from him again.
A few days later a war broke out between the night and autumn court and Beron was killed by the hand of his son -Eris, who took his place as a high lord and thrived. Lucien and Elain moved to the Autumn court and became Eris’ advisors making the relationship between night and autumn stronger than ever.
Life in prythian was peaceful again and things were moving forward. You finally mastered the method to hide the bond and it felt like it didn’t exist at all.
“Y/n I received a letter from Eris… he needs a healer for his court and he asked me if I could spare him one. I think you will be great for the position.” Helion spoke when you entered his office.
“But Lucien and Elain will be there… I don’t think I can be around her and I’m afraid that Lucien will tell Azriel that I’m there.” You said and started fidgeting.
“You can’t hide from him forever, you became so strong and independent this past year… I think you are ready to face him.” His face was filled with care and reassurance.
“Okay…” you smiled.
“Great I will send him our response and arrange some guards to escort you there.” Helion clapped and grabbed a piece of paper and a quill.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
You were currently standing in front of the gates of the Autumn court’s palace. After saying goodbye to Helion you hopped into the carriage and left the day court. When you reached the borders of the autumn court Helion’s guards left and the others Eris had sent replaced them. It wasn’t long until you made it to the palace.
Eris walked out and you removed the hood of your cloak, you bowed your head and approached him. He made a tsk sound and smiled.
“Oh come on I’m not my father I don’t want people bowing to me” his voice was deep and melodic, filled with sinful promises that sent shivers down your spine. You had never seen him before, you had heard the inner circle talking about him but they never took you with them when they met with him. You didn’t expect him to be so handsome, his long red hair so smooth and shiny, his amber eyes filled with mischief and his sharp jaw making his face look like it was carved by all the gods new and forgotten. He was made out of sin and fire and you blushed as he noticed you were staring.
“Enjoying the view?” He purred and you almost climaxed at the sound. You could swear that your face was redder than Cassian’s siphons but you were an entirely new female now so you gathered all your courage and replied.
“So what if I am?
He smirked, the mischief flashing brighter in his eyes.
“Oh I’m going to enjoy your company for sure” he purred again and gestured to follow him.
You almost moaned at the sight of his strong back and broad shoulders, your mind creating images of him manhandling you, his muscles flexing and his eyes darkening. You shook your head and pushed the thoughts away hoping he wouldn’t smell your arousal. I have never laid with a male and my hormones are flipping that must be it. You tried to reassure yourself as Eris showed you your room.
“This is your room and the one at the end of the hall is mine” he smirked and you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.
“I think I got a sniff of your desire to get in my bed…” he chuckled and turned to leave. “I expect you to come to dinner tonight we have to talk about your duties” and with that he was gone.
You were so screwed. This male would be the death of you. Everything about him made your knees tremble, power and arrogance were flowing out of him, his strong body was the definition of perfection. His scent was intoxicating making you desire him so much that you wondered if someone had casted a spell on you. Yeah completely screwed.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🍁 🍂 ☁️˙✧˖°
You decided to wear an auburn colored tight dress to honor your new high lord and you styled your hair in a high bun. You checked yourself in the mirror one last time and left the room feeling hot and confident. One of the servants guided you to the big dining room and hurried off somewhere. Eris was sitting at the head of the table with Lucien on his right side, Elain was sitting next to Lucien. They all looked at you the moment you entered and shock filled their faces. Lucien and Elain because they didn’t expect you to be there and Eris… his eyes were scanning your body, desire flashing in them as he noticed the color of your outfit and how well it looked on you.
“Hello” you smiled and confidently walked to the seat on Eris’ left side. You sat next to him and let your leg brush against his thigh. Your eyes challenging him. Yeah you will enjoy my company. You thought.
“Uhm y/n….Uhm hi… what are you doing here?” Elain gave you a tight smile.
“Oh you didn’t expect to see me again right? Well after I left the night court because you were screwing my mate” Lucien gaped at you, -his shocked expression confirming your suspicions that he didn’t know- and Eris snorted, amusement filling his features.
“I improved my healing skills with Helion’s help and now I’m going to stay here as the Autumn court’s healer” you smiled sweetly and sipped your wine. Elain was red from embarrassment and Lucien paled.
“You were fucking shadowboy?” Eris smirked.
“I…” she was squirming in her seat and with a sigh she looked at Lucien “yes… but we ended things before I accepted the bond. I didn’t cheat on you”
Eris burst into laughter, throwing his head back and clapping.
“Oh this is so good.” He said gesturing to Lucien’s face. “Come on brother don’t be so boring ask her…” he said between fits of laughter.
“Who screws better my brother or the shadowsinger?” He continued, disappointed by his brother’s silence.
You almost choked on your wine and tried to stifle a giggle. Eris noticed and placed his hand on your thigh squeezing.
“You can laugh it’s okay” he smiled at you and turned his attention back to Elain. Your skin was burning and even though he removed his hand you could still feel his warmth there.
“Excuse me” she whispered and ran away.
Lucien let out a sigh and got up.
“I know that she hurt you, she hurt me too but please, I finally managed to come back home, be nice to her… I don’t want to leave again.”
“Okay, I won’t mention it again” you shrugged and Lucien sent you a thankful smile before disappearing.
“Well that was fun” Eris chuckled and started eating.
“I know” you giggled and picked your fork again.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🍁 🍂 ☁️˙✧˖°
Morning found you in the main room sitting on a sofa with your legs on Eris’ lap laughing and drinking wine.
Your sober self would never place your legs on the high lord’s lap but the wine was in control and you felt so comfortable around him. He didn’t seem to mind, he was massaging your calves and talking about everything that happened during the war. You were amazed by how he could turn a horror story into a comedy with just a few remarks here and there.
“Is that the sun?” You asked as you glanced outside.
“No it’s the beauty I’m emitting... lighting up the whole court” he chuckled and you threw a pillow at him.
“We have to get some sleep” you groaned.
“Are you inviting me to your bed little fox?” Eris purred and your eyes widened.
“No” you exclaimed and quickly stood up. He laughed at your embarrassment and raised himself from his seat.
“Let’s go” he offered you his hand and escorted you to your bedroom.
“Get some rest little fox, you will need it” he winked and left.
The moment your head touched the pillow you fell asleep, dreaming of Eris and his court.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🍁 🍂 ☁️˙✧˖°
It was afternoon when you woke up again because someone was knocking on your door, with a groan you got up and went to the door. Your head felt like it was going to explode and your stomach was turning. You opened the door and one of the maids smiled at you.
“High Lord Eris has requested you to his office”
“Okay give me a few minutes” you murmured and shut the door. You looked like a mess. You quickly entered the bathroom and splashed some water on your face before hurriedly opening the closet to find something to wear.
You picked a loose beige dress that reached mid-thigh and changed. You fixed your hair as much as you could and left your room. The maid was patiently waiting for you and smiled politely before walking down the hall. You followed her.
“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting, I just woke up and I needed some time to fix myself” you said. She glanced at you with a smile.
“Don’t worry about it my lady. You look beautiful”
“Thank you” you blushed and stopped next to her as you reached a big wooden door.
She quickly bowed her head and left.
You knocked on the door and Eris’ deep voice filled the silence
“come in” .
With a deep breath you walked inside. He looked so powerful behind the big desk, his arrogant smirk plastered on his face and his big palms resting on the desk.
“You requested to see me” you said and took a seat in front of him.
“Yes… it seems that you are quite distracting little fox and I forgot to mention your duties last night” you shivered at the nickname. You nodded for him to continue.
“So, I already have a healer for my army… I brought you here because I needed a healer for me and my family, I can’t risk our health just because the healer didn’t have time to get here. So, you will stay in the palace, all your expenses will be covered by me. That’s the position I’m offering you” he looked formal and you blinked. You only saw his playful side since you arrived and this shocked you. Being the high lord fitted him very well.
“Uhm okay, you are being very generous” you cleared your throat.
“I take my family’s health seriously so of course I will be generous” he smiled.
“Okay, well I accept the offer” you shrugged and smiled back at him.
“Perfect! You can go I have some work to do, dinner will be served soon.”
“You’re not coming?” You asked a bit disappointed.
“No, I’m too busy because someone kept me up all night” he winked. “But I’m sure my brother, his mate and my mother will be a great company”
You blushed and nodded. With a quick goodbye you left his office.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🍁 🍂 ☁️˙✧˖°
Dinner went well that night and you and the lady autumn seemed to enjoy each other’s company very much. You spent the rest of the days with her, going out and strolling around the garden. Sometimes you would stay inside and she would teach you how to cook or knit. She was a very calm female and made you feel comfortable and like you could fit into her house.
Eris joined you a few times, he enjoyed seeing you and his mother getting along so well.
One day as you were sitting on a bench with his mother enjoying the view of the garden she said;
“You know… I would love if you and Eris ended up together, you’re so sweet and kind, my son would be lucky to have you.” She smiled and you almost choked on air. You and Eris… you had thought about that but you weren’t sure if he had this type of feelings towards you. Lust wasn’t enough for someone to get married. And what would happen if Azriel found out?
What do you think? Would you like me to continue this? Also which one do you prefer for our reader Eris or Azriel?
Requests are open!

He's doing pull ups. You can't seem to pull your eyes away from his sweat covered back, the way his arms curl and his muscles pop when he lifts himself up and the way he huffs and groans when he drops back down.
You knew Chad was hot, that was a secret to nobody but you never had thought too much about it. at least not until right now.
You've known Chad your whole life, having met the meek twins in elementary school you guys automatically clicked. Even though you had met mindy, the first chad was the one you bonded with the most. There had just been something about him and you two have been inseparable ever since.
Everyone growing up had thought the two of you were bound to get together at some point and many had even thought you were already dating and were shocked to find out Chad was dating liv at the time. You remember how devastated he was, comforting him in his hospital bed while he sobbed his eyes out.
You didn't like him like that. or at least you didn't think you did. but if you didn't then why the hell are you standing here like a creep practicing drooling over your best friend.
You shake your head and begin to make your way around to face him, attempting to ignore the twisting of your stomach and your heart pounding.
It's just chad. it's just chad you continue to try and reassure yourself as you come to face him.
You should have stayed facing his back because you almost fell to your knees, his eyes closed. His chest rises and falls quickly and his jaw clenched as he brings himself back down, veins popping on his forearms as he sighs in relief.
Your thighs clench involuntarily until he opens his eyes. When he had finally noticed you he smiled. He was always smiling, especially at you. He dropped down and took a couple steps forward, “Sorry if you were waiting long.” He must have thought you were trying to call for him but he couldn't hear you through his headphones but you haven't even tried to call for him. You think if you tried to say his name it would come out as some sort of mumble so you just nodded your head, “it's fine.”
you thrust his bag forward and he grabs it, “thank you for this.” you shake your head, “no problem.” you curtly reply.
you need to get out of here and never turn back, it must be corrupting your mind this demon place.
he reaches to the bench next to him and grabs a hand towel next to him and runs it over his face and along his collarbone as he looks at you concerned, “are you alright?”
no you are certainly not alright. He brings the cloth down to his abs.
he doesn't need that cloth i can lick up and down his abs like its ice cream-
you shake your head, what the hell were you talking about?!?!
“y/n?”
you look back up at his eyes and notice he's staring at you.
“oh no im um im alright sorry.”
he tilts his head at you and gives you a i don't believe you look.
You sigh, “I need to go run some errands. It's stressing me out a little.”
what were you even talking about, you pulled the excuse out of your ass. you had been free for the rest of the day.
“Oh really, if you just wait a few more minute until i finish my set i can come with”
No, that definitely can not happen because there's no way you can stand here and watch him work out without losing it.
“sorry i need to go like now i'll see you.”
you don't even wait for his reply as you rush out, your underwear is so uncomfortably wet you need to run back to your dorm and change them.
when you get to your dorm, you manage to resist your urges… for now.
instance number two | movie night
The guilt was eating you alive. sitting awkwardly on the couch with mindy to your left and a blank spot to your right you felt like you were drowning. you had avoided having to hang out with chad until this point.
Dodging his calls, sending him short texts and even ditching your friends for the last week have all led to now. It was mandatory to attend movie night each month and this one was no exception. when you attempted to ghost mindy she came and banged on your door until you answered, not taking your ‘i don't feel well’ seriously. ‘Get dressed, you're coming.’ was all she had said in return and you begrudgingly got dressed.
maybe you shouldn't have tried to avoid him because it feels more awkward than it should, he of course is acting normal, if he feels any sort of way or thinks you're avoiding him he doesn't show it which your thankful for but you can't help but what to bury yourself in a hole anytime you see him.
Of course you feel awkward looking at your best friend who you had thought of in such a different way. a part of you wished you hadn't even gone to that stupid gym and witnessed your stupidly hot best friend sweaty and shirtless.
You're snapped out of your train of thought when you feel the area beside you fill up and you're greeted by Chad holding a rather large bowl of popcorn in his lap.
he notices your stare and holds out the bucket to you, “want some?”
You mindlessly take a handful before turning away from him. You notice him frowning from the corner of your eye.
You two would always engage in some conversation about nonsense before the movie began, you hated that you couldn't talk to your best friend because you were acting like a weirdo.
You couldn't pay attention to the movie once it began, especially not with Chad's warm body sitting next to you and the scent of his cologne filling your lungs.
About an hour in you get up, unable to sit there any longer, when Mindy from the other side of the couch gives you an odd look in your mouth that you're going to get a drink to which she narrowed her eyes but doesn't say anything. you miss the look the meek twins share as you make your way to the kitchen.
You grab a glass from one of the cabinets and take a deep breath, what the hell was happening to you? all you could think about as of late was chad.
How come everything has changed so quickly? one minute he's your stupid himbo best friend and the next he's a walking wet dream.
As you are filling up your cup you decide you're just going to get over it, just go back to normal that should be simple enough right?
you take a sip feeling much more relaxed before turning around but you hadn't realized something was standing right behind you so when you turned your whole drink knocked into, spilling all over his chest.
“fuck.”
“Oh my god, I'm so sorry.”
Your eyes immediately lock on to his white shirt that has gone completely see through.
oh fuck.
The movie had been paused and you can hear Sam rush over to ask if you guys were alright.
you mindlessly nod your head and mumble a weak apology to which sam brushes off and tells you it's fine before getting the broom.
“Dude what are you gonna do about your shirt?”
Mindy looked her brother up and down with a disgusted look to which he shrugs, “I can just take it off.”
Wait what?
He reaches a hand behind his back and pulls the shirt off in one swift movement and your eyes immediately drop to the floor.
“God you're gross.”
Yeah you definitely are. Chad laughs as he rubs a paper towel over his chest to get off any extra water that had stayed on his chest.
You feel like you're about to faint, it's just like the gym all over again. You Are glued to your spot as Sam finishes sweeping and makes her way back to the couch as well leaving you and Chad alone in the kitchen.
“it's really not your fault,”
you look at his face and notice he's smiling at you giving you a reassuring look, “im sure sam will survive without one of her million mugs.”
“I don't have that many!”
Sam calls back from the living room, making the two of you laugh.
You momentarily forget your guilt, this is what you've missed, just standing around and joking with him, laughing together.
his smile grows wider at your relaxed and happy face, something you don't notice.
“Are we good?”
You don't notice the worry in his voice or the concern on his face, thinking nothing more of his question you reply,
“Of course.”
He lets out a sigh of relief, one you don't notice.
your moment of relaxation is over once you're reminded of his bare chest.
he notices your stare and laughs it off, “don't worry about my shirt i'll survive, plus it'll give these guys time to breath.”
he flexed and you felt your knees wobble.
he laughs and apologizes for the stupid joke, mindy who had heard it from the couch gets annoyed at her brother and the two begin to bicker.
Your eyes shamelessly rake all over his chest and arms. you shake your head, catching yourself, and you run your hands over your face.
This was getting ridiculous.
“Are you okay?”
you look at him in shock as he stares at you.
His eyes are locked on to yours.
there's an unknown tension between the two of you, his eyes leave yours and drift down slightly.
your lips.
He seems to be leaning in, you want him to, you want him to so bad you lean in too and-
“Are you two done making out or what?”
you hear anika hit mindy and say to be quiet but mindy scoffs saying something about wanting to watch the movie.
you take a step back, feeling embarrassed you don't even take another glance at chad as you mumble about needing to use the bathroom and rush away.
You rush to close the door and lean back on it, out of breath.
What the hell just happened? were you two really about to kiss? and you really wanted him to?
Maybe you're just going crazy? Was the tension between you two so obvious that even mindy pointed it out? Are you about to start your period? Maybe that's why you're acting like this? no you had just had your period not too long ago.
You splash some water on your face as you continue to think.
Why are you feeling like this now? what if you just saw him shirtless and sweaty and suddenly you can't stop thinking about him? maybe deep down you always felt this way? No, that's ridiculous. Is it?
You shake your head, you can't think about this right now. you pat your face dry, all you need to do is get out there and finish this stupid movie and leave. and definitely make sure to not look at chad and his stupidly hot body and perfect face, why did he have to be so hot anyways? his arms are so large would he mind if you just bit them- oh my god.
You walk back out to the living room and notice they had turned back on the movie, “sorry mindy couldn't wait.” Sam tells you and mindy shakes her, “you were taking too long, sit sit were at the good part.”
you awkwardly take your place right next to chad, the warmth of his body is nice but he feels… tense? you stupidly take a glance at his face and notice his jaw is clenched and he has an unreadable look on his face.
he's probably regretting what happened in the kitchen and is feeling awkward about it, it's unlike him to not make any sort of stupid comment or not tell mindy to shut up at some point throughout the night but he doesn't and it makes you feel sick.
What a nightmare.
instance number three | social media stalking
This is probably what was your most pathetic moment.
you and Chad hadn't spoken for two days. to some that seems like nothing but to you it was everything. you and chad never went a day without talking to each other since forever and of course you had to go ahead and ruin it.
you had been opening and closing your messages together all day, debating whether or not to send a text.
Would he even answer? you still don't know what to make of what happened, no what almost happened in the kitchen.
One question you still refused to address was your feelings towards him.
Did you like him? Did he like you? What did this mean? You couldn't tell, maybe it was just a passing thought, a passing feeling which will go away eventually. Or maybe it will stay and linger with you.
None of it mattered because all you could think about was how much you missed him. You missed your best friend more than anything.
Wanting to see his face you decide to open up his instagram.
Clicking on his pictures you scroll for a while, smiling to yourself as you reminisce over the pictures, a large majority of them being ones you took.
Suddenly you stumbled upon one of his workout videos. You should exit out of it but youre in entranced by him.
You watch the short clip over and over again, your body running hot. He was deadlifting. His chest puffed out as he picked up the insanely large weight, you could see the sweat dripping down his chest and you could hear him groan.
Your thighs rub together as you watch it for what must be the tenth time. One of your hands leaves your phone and drifts down before you eyes widen as you remember he has a whole highlight dedicated to his workouts.
One hand moves on your screen as you open up the highlight, another works its way down to your pants, unable to resist your urges anymore.
You watch through the stories and reels while you toy with yourself until one particular video pops up. It's a compilation of his mess ups and you can occasionally hear Ethan in the background laughing at him but there's also a lot of him groaning, sweating and he also curses a lot.
You hadn't even noticed you had slipped two fingers into yourself but you soon lost yourself in pleasure, imagining his groans and curses were sounds he was making with you.
You close your eyes after seeing a particular clip of him flexing his much in the mirror and your phone falls out of your hand, you go move your other hand to your clit before a deafening ring sound's through the room.
you freeze like a deer in headlights as you listen to the phone on your chest vibrate before taking your free hand and picking it up.
chad.
You let it ring, suddenly filled with embarrassment and you sit up having removed your fingers. What The hell were you doing?
You needed to take a shower.
The realization.
you're at some party Tara had managed to convince you to go to by saying something about you needing to get out of your room and have some fun. Despite all you wanted to do is rot in your room while thinking about Chad, you had the sudden idea.
You should get laid.
Not by Chad obviously as that would defeat the purpose but you are hoping whatever this weird fascination you've grown to have with Chad is just you and your weird lust waiting to be satisfied.
You're standing in the kitchen with some guy from one of your classes. You don't know his name but he was cute… enough. You nod mindlessly at whatever he was saying. His hand suddenly moved to your forearm as he stroked it affectionately, you try not to let the sudden wave of disgust wash over you show on your face. He leans down to whisper in your ear and you almost push him away instinctively.
“you wanna get out of here?”
Your grimace and stiffness as his face moves away from the side of your head to your face where he leans in close, too close, you're suddenly reminded of your moment with Chad in the kitchen. This certainly isn't making you feel like that moment did.
Before he could kiss you like he intended hands are suddenly on his chest and shoving him away from you. You gasp as an arm grips you, “she's not interested.”
The dude groans as he glares at Chad whose glares look like it could kill and his grip on you tightens, “who the hell are you man?”
“none of your damn business stay away from her”
he scoffs, “she wanted me man just ask her.”
Chad doesn't even turn to look at you, “shut the fuck up man.”
“what? You mad your girlfriend’s a whore huh? she was practically grinding on me-”
A fist slams against his face effectively shutting him up, “Talk your shit again man and I'll do something worse than that.”
He drags you off before any more words can be said. The grip he has is deadly, like he's afraid you're going to slip out of his reach if he lets go even for a second. You want to open your mouth to question him but all you can do is stare at him. What was his thing for wearing tight shirts? Maybe you should be thankful he does because you can see his arm clench as he holds you and continues to work you two through the crowd and up the stairs.
He finally finds an empty room and finally lets you go once you walk in. He lets out a sigh of relief as he closes the door and presses both his hands against it. His large back facing you and you admit his muscles that pop out of his shirt, maybe for christmas you should buy him some larger shirts so you could keep your thoughts tame.
He turns to you and looks at you concerned, glancing up and down, “are you alright? Did he try anything?”
You smile and shake your head, “no he didn't, thank you.”
He places a hand on your arm, “you sure?”
you nod as things grow quiet between the two of you. He lets out a sigh of relief as a sudden surge of confidence rushes over you, “thank god, that guy was giving off some serious weird vibes, i mean what were you even doing talking to a guy like that-”
You grab his face and press your lips against his, you shut your eyes, not wanting to know his reaction but are pleasantly surprised when he grabs your face and kisses you back with the same force.
His hands leave your face and find the hem of your shirt and tugs at it.
You two suddenly pull away and rush to take off your clothes, your head is spinning and you almost fall over but you manage to get it off leaving both of you in just your underwear.
He backs you into the wall and stares at you. He's staring at you as if you're the most gorgeous woman in the world, his eyes trailing up and down not knowing where to look. He looks like he wants to consume you, like he's barely holding himself back from jumping on you and taking you right then and there.
You grow anxious under his stare bringing your arms up to cover yourself before he grabs them and pins them to your sides, “youre so fucking gorgeous.”
He pauses hearing you whimper slightly, you can't look at him. “What is it, baby?”
You try to move your arms but due to his strength you can't and you whine again, rubbing your thighs together trying to get any sort of friction down there.
He grins as he watches your actions, “what you like, how strong i am? like how i can pin you down like this hmm?” you can feel his breath on your face as you nod still not looking at him.
“Then what if I picked you up like this?” He easily picks you up and holds you in his arms and readjusts you to sit more comfortably, “you like this?”
He doesn't wait for your reply, casually tosses you onto the bed and climbs on top of you, kissing you once more as his hands trail down your body leaving a fire in its wake.
his hands slide back up. when he reaches the band of your bra he pulls away and looks at you, “can i?”
you nod unable to speak over the pounding of your heart but he doesn't move, “i need your words baby.”
god why does he have to be so hot.
“Yes please.”
“Was that so hard?”
You would normally say some smart comment but right now you can't think of anything as he inclips your bra and immediately attached his lips to one of your nipples, not forgetting to show the other some love with his other hand causing you to moan.
“chad…”
he grins as he switches sides but this time one of his hands trails down towards your underwear and he stops at the band and looks up at you wordlessly.
you nod and hope your message can get across, you need him to touch you now or you might die. you've never felt so hot and wet like you do right now, you've never wanted anything like you've wanted chad at this moment.
He detached his lips from you causing you to pout but he shakes his head, “you know what i want.”
You whine barely being able to make the words out, “please chad.”
His fingers drift a little lower, almost touching exactly where you want him, “c'mon you're almost there.”
You groan, feeling impatient, “chad!”
he pulls his hand away and stares at you expectantly, “cmon now.”
“Please touch me please.”
He pulls down your underwear leaving you completely bare and pulls your thighs apart, laying in between your legs.
He kisses the inside of your thighs, leaving you more and more breathless the closer he gets to your pussy.
Before he can get too close he stops and pulls away slightly, staring at you and your body in wonder. He eyes your pussy, his mouth waters and he licks his lips.
“Chad please.”
he looks up at you, “please what?”
he loves the face you make, your pout and the whine you let out, “you know!”
he laughs, “know what?”
you're silent for a moment, “my pussy….”
“what about it?”
you groan, “touch my pussy chad please.”
satisfied he runs a finger along your slit, “im gonna do a lot more than touch it baby.”
He licks a long strip and the sound you let out makes all the years of waiting and pent up lust and affection worth it as you let out the most angelic sound he's ever heard and he's determined to hear it again.
you don't expect him to be so messy at eating pussy, hes so fucking good. he pulled back and spits on it before his tongue swirls around your clit and his arms leave your thighs to hold down your hips as they keep on lifting up, once again reminding you of his strength and you let out another whine along with your moans.
he looks up and is delighted by your face, eyes closed, eyebrows furrowed in pleasure and mouth wide open. He thinks you've never looked hotter.
a hand leaves your hips, which are still being held down even with just one of his hands, and he begins to slide one of them in as his mouth pays full attention to your clit.
“You like this baby?”
“better than i imagined?”
You feel him smile, “you imagined this huh?”
You nod and he grips you tightly bringing himself closer to you somehow, “good, so have i.”
You shake with pleasure as he slides in two more fingers, his pace never slowing as the lower end of his face ends up covered in your arousal.
your eyes roll back as your moans grow louder, you would be shocked if everyone in the house couldn't hear you right now.
he pulls his mouth off but his fingers keep going, “you gonna come?”
you can't form words and he doubts you can even hear him right now so he lets you not answer him slide as he goes back to sucking on your clit until he brings you to a mind blowing orgasm.
he continues to lap at your pussy for a while until he pulls back and stares at you with satisfaction as you lay there out of breath in a daze.
He kisses his way back up to your face where you smile at him before he kisses you again.
he pulls away to pull down his pants rummaging through his pockets before cursing.
“something wrong?”
“I don't have a condom…”
“I'm on the pill.”
he looks worried, “i don't know maybe i could go back down and look for one-”
you sigh and shake your head, “what are you scared of? maybe i should go back down there and look for that guy again so he could finish the jo-”
you're suddenly picked up off the bed and into chad's arms as he stares at you angrily, “i dont think so.”
You wonder if he's going to throw you back down but he doesn't. He readjusted you, lining himself up to your slit moving your body to rub his tip along it causing you to moan.
“nobody can fuck you like i can.”
he slowly begins sliding into you and you place your head into his neck barely believing what's happening.
“you like how strong i am huh?”
he begins to pound into you, his muscles straining and flexing as he lifts you and brings you back down his cock over and over.
he was completely right, nobody has or will ever fuck you the way chad is. he's got just the right amount of length and girth as well as the veins running along it rub against you just right it makes you scream.
His groans moans and huffs right in your ear make your eyes roll back as he keeps his steady pace.
you grip his forearms tightly which feel like stones under your hands while you moan out for him.
“fuck you feel so good baby.”
you couldn't respond to him even if you wanted to, the pleasure burning your body and the only word that can come out of your mouth is his name. “chad”
“Who's making you feel this good?” He asked after a particularly harsh thrust.
“you, Chad, you.”
“thats right, me, fuck; me not that asshole downstairs,” He moves to a nearby wall and presses you against it, if you could you would wonder why he moved but it becomes clear when he manages to hold you up with one arm before moving the other to play with your clit, “me. i, fuck, am.”
He mutters some more curse words as his thrusts become more erratic.
You're seeing stars, his heaving breathing on your neck, his fingers playing with your clit and his warm hand on his body adds to the out of body experience you're having. All the emotions you've had the last week or two catching up to you in a split second.
“I love you.”
He freezes for a moment, his breath stops, “what?”
You whine and try to move your hips but he stops you, “what did you say?”
“I love you Chad, please move.”
He lets out a couple more shallow breaths before speaking, “I love you too, so much, so so so much.” he thrusts his hips more and more aggressively, his hand leaves you clit and both his hands move to your hips where they hold you stuck to the wall as he pounds into you.
you start crying, whether it be from pleasure or happiness the tears roll down your face as you continue to cry out for him.
When you tighten around he hisses, “you about to cum baby?”
You nod and he doesn't do anything to stop you, “cum baby, cum for me.”
And you do, you're sure if you weren't being held up you would drop to the floor in pleasure. He follows quickly after using his remaining strength to walk the two of you to drop you onto the bed where he falls on top of you with a breathy laugh.
The two of you can only stare at each other, he has an affectionate look on his face as he cups your face and runs his thumb against your cheek and you close your eyes.
After a couple more silent moments, “did you mean it?” He asks. You open your eyes and look at him. he has an embarrassed look on his face for someone who just fucked the living shit out of you.
This was it, the moment you've been dreading, but you needed to admit this.
“I did, I love you chad.”
He smiles, a big wide grin that covers his whole face as he brings one of his hands to wipe the sweat off his forehead.
“I love you too.”
You two laugh as he brings his face down to kiss you. You two smile into the kiss, you want to beat yourself up for not letting this happen sooner.
he pulls away, “so… you like how strong i am huh?.”
you groan and bring your hands to cover your face. “Shut up please.”
“No! now that i know this i will never let it go.”

Daybreak
Pairing: Aemond Targaryen x wife!reader
Warnings: none
Summary: You've tried to help your husband. Yet, you are forced to watch the wrong person getting crowned...
Wordcount: 1.9k
A/N: So, maybe many of you cannot relate to this. The idea came to me while I listened to the song 'Daybreak' by Dimash Qudaibergen. But I just had to write this because as someone who has to fight with very intense emotions, I can relate to this so unbelievably well. My heart broke for both Aemond and Aegon during the crowning scene. Aemond may be the villain of House of the Dragon, but it wasn't really his choice. No one gets born this malicious, one is made this way. And even when it actually is a deliberate choice at some point, growing up in a family like the Targaryen's only means that this attitude is forced upon you without a real chance to escape it.
English isn't my first language, please forgive any mistakes!
Stiffly, you stood together with your family-in-law on the podium in the Sept. Thousands of citizens were gathered in the hall, squeezing each other in order to get in to be able to see the crowning of Aegon II Targaryen. Your facial expression was completely blank and shock cursed through your body, causing to numb every emotion and dull every sense, and coldness slowly seeped into your bones. It's been three years now since you got married to Aegon's younger brother Aemond Targaryen. The both of you hadn't had a great start. Mean words and accusations had been thrown in both directions and you had actually hit him one or two times. He was the only person in this world that could get you riled up this much. And he also was the only person that you loved more than your own life.
You hadn't been able to avoid to fall in love with him. The both of you had partially been forced to spend time together and over the course of months, you had come to know Aemond better. You knew of his favorite things, of the things he hated, of his doubts and dreams. Especially his dreams. They were ones you shared. Having spent three years in his family, you knew as much as Aemond that he was a better man than his brother. He should be the one to be crowned today. Instead, he stood next to you, as stiffly as you yourself, his eye looking over the crowd with no emotion. Your fingers were intertwined with his and you could feel the warmth of his hand on your palm. Normally, it was reassuring and calming. But today, it did nothing to you.
You felt completely numb as you watched the kingsguard enter the Sept and build a corridor in the crowd for Aegon to go through. The tips of your fingers became cold and your breath slightly hitched in your throat, barely audible. One second later, you could feel the gaze of your husband on you, almost burning the right side of your face with its intensity. Of course he had heard you – he would always hear you, no matter where you were or how far away. It was your special bond that you both shared with each other after your Valyrian marriage; a bond that had developed with hate and rage, pain and tears, and that had turned into care and happiness, passion and love over time. The surroundings receded into the background, only noticeable at the edge of your field of vision as your empty eyes followed Aegon walking through the crowd. Somewhere distant in your mind, you registered that he seemed as unhappy and desperate as you felt right now deep down.
The events passed you by in a blur. You vaguely heard the Septon speak from far away, not able to follow the words that were spoken; you saw Aegon accepting his fate, the crown on his head, and you barely managed to hold yourself together as the searing pain that you had buried deep within you for today began to rise to the surface. But you held on. Because you knew that right now was not the time to lose it. You knew the pain Aemond held within himself that he never allowed to be seen. You knew of his childhood and youth, full of the bullying from his siblings and nephews, the lost of his eye, the expectations especially his mother had with him which he hadn't been able to meet, and his burning wish to follow his father on the throne after Viserys' death, to prove himself. Your hand that still held Aemond's became completely cold, even his warmth couldn't prevent it as you saw your meticulously detailed plan going down the drain right in front of your eyes. You knew that Aegon didn't want to be king, as much as Aemond and you didn't want him to be.
You couldn't explain when it all had started to go down the hill. Everything had been perfect. A few days before this important day, you had spoken to Aegon after having gone through everything with Aemond beforehand, how you wanted to do it. You had explained it in detail to Aegon and he had not hesitated to give his approval. One of the preparations had been to bribe the right people who you knew would support you to make Aegon disappear. They had agreed to help you because they had been able to see in Aegon's face and attitude that he did not want to be king. After everything was prepared, everything had gone smoothly today, almost as if everyone around you just wanted to play into your cards. Aegon had disappeared to hide above the dragonpit where no one would suspect him and would just have waited for an opportunity to board a ship to leave Westeros. Even when Aemond had come to you to tell you that his mother had sent out Ser Criston in order to search for Aegon, you had known that this wouldn't change anything.
And yet, here you stood, helplessly watching how the wrong man got crowned.
You could feel tears bubbling up in your throat and swallowed hard to keep them at bay. Still not the right time. You were thankful that Rhaenys Velaryon freed her dragon and disturbed the crowning ceremony, causing utter chaos and pain as her dragon hurt and killed people. You barely registered Aemond pushing himself in front of you to protect you, his hand on the right side of your hips to reassure himself that you were in fact behind him. You saw Rhaenys escape with her dragon as they tried to close the doors to prevent both her and the people from fleeing. But what happened next, you didn't know. You had a few flashing pictures of the kingsguard escorting you through the Red Keep to your chambers, which you shared with Aemond. The door was quietly closed behind you, but you didn't react at first. You still felt eerily numb, though the ripping pain was lurking beneath the surface, and you couldn't quite comprehend what had just happened during the last hour in your life.
Your gaze wandered out of the window at an extremely slow pace while your heartbeat started to quicken as your brain tediously began to catch up with what had happened. You knew that your emotions would nearly kill you the moment they would start to devour you. You tried to hold it back, to give yourself more time to maybe prepare a little bit for what was about to come. But you couldn't. The first sob escaped your throat mere seconds after you felt the barrier that you had built around your feelings begin to crumble down. The quite rustling of clothes somewhere beside you drew your attention and you saw Aemond standing a few feet away from you as your gaze flickered over to him, looking completely desperate, pained, and defeated.
It wasn't fair! It wasn't fair that the man you loved with every fiber of your existence had to suffer this much.
Something finally snapped somewhere in your mind. Burning pain ripped through you, hatred for Queen Alicent and her father melted your intestines and rage flowed through your veins like liquid fire. The first chalice crashed against the wall with a loud noise, accompanied by your furious scream. Everything had been perfectly planned, even Aegon had agreed to your plan and had supported you. And now, here you were, damned to see your soulmate suffer. The next chalices, glasses, and plates were thrown through the room, clattering to the ground and crashing against the walls, splintering into a thousand pieces just like your soul did at the sight of Aemond. You weren't able to hold yourself back; blankets, pillows, cups, plates, chairs, and books were thrown through the room by you while you simultaneously screamed your throat raw. For you, it was the only way to handle this all-surrounding pain, rage, and hatred within you that chewed venomously at you and devoured you whole. Tears were streaming down your face and your silver-blonde hair was an absolute mess, the long strands completely tangled, but you couldn't care any less.
Nothing was anymore where it had been before. Even the table had got toppled over by you in your rage. You didn't even really notice that you grabbed the glass vase that stood on the windowsill with pretty flowers in it – a gift from Aemond's mother yesterday. Now it seemed to mock you. Before you could do something more, your knees finally gave way due to exhaustion, but that didn't stop you. As soon as you were sitting on the ground, you slammed the vase onto the stone with your hand still attached. The physical pain that shot through your hand as a big piece of glass cut deeply into your palm, was what brought you finally back a little bit. Your voice went quiet and soundless sobs shook your whole body, big tears still streaming down your cheeks and dropping to the ground and on your dress. You could see the dark color of a pair of breeches as Aemond knelt on the ground next to you, carefully taking your injured hand into his own.
“Please,” you sobbed. Your throat was sore and hurt, your voice hoarse and raspy, cracking at the end and almost swallowing the next words you choked out, “Please, Aemond, make it stop. It hurts so bad.”
Another wave of tears welled in your eyes as you looked at him. New pain tore your heart to shreds the moment you saw the wet shimmer staining his beautiful face. “I know,” he whispered, his own voice breaking and thus barely audible. He looked down at your hand again, turning it around and inhaling sharply when he saw the large shard of glass that stuck in your hand, drawing blood that already started to drop to the ground, accompanying the new tears that streamed down your cheeks.
“It hurts,” you breathed. There was no need for you to explain to Aemond that you didn't mean your hand. Your other hand came up and the tips of your fingers grazed his hairline and the upper part of his forehead, lovingly and soothing. “I am sorry,” you whispered, causing his head to snap up again to look at you. “I have failed you, my love.”
You could see the pain in his eye as you said these words. “No,” he contradicted you and shook his head. “No, you didn't fail me, Y/N. You gave everything I could have asked for, and even more.”
“Avy jorrāelan, ñuhyz zaldrīzes,” you said weakly and finally started to calm down, exhaustion slowly settling in. “So much that it hurts.” (I love you, my dragon.)
“I know,” was all Aemond said to this. “I can feel it.” He grabbed the shard of glass carefully and started to pull it out, causing you to contort your face in pain. “We will fix this, byka mēre, I promise you.” (little one.)
“Okay,” you sniffed and wiped the tears from his cheek. All that you wanted was to see him happy, truly happy. It had become the center of your life the moment you realized that you loved this man that was still a broken little child deep down. You knew that sitting on the Iron Throne with that crown upon his head was what would make him truly happy.
And you would give everything to get him on that throne. In the end, even your own life.
Maybe one day, I'll write another part, but I just had to get that off my chest.

boyfriend vs brother: the ice cream wars - a chris & nick sturniolo short
a/n: requested by anon; lowercase intended
summary: when two brothers are at war over ice cream, it’s the girlfriend of the youngest brother who steps in to make things right, or does she?
she may be in a sweet and loving relationship with the youngest sturniolo triplet, but y/n has a unique bond with the oldest triplet. nick and y/n have been best friends since fifth grade after y/n moved to boston from seattle. it was from there that nick introduced her to his two younger brothers matt and chris, who absolutely adored having her as a friend. as the years went by, both y/n and chris fell for each other and after getting nick’s approval, the two started dating and later became boyfriend and girlfriend.
this relationship didn’t stop her friendship with nick, oh no! the amount of inside jokes and secrets shared between the two had everyone around them baffled, including her own boyfriend. the amount of teasing that came with their friendship, oh boy! every car video that featured y/n, chris and nick always managed to start an argument. being best friends, y/n always took nick’s side, leaving chris to have to fend for himself as matt had left the car until it was complete silence.
this happened once again today. y/n opened the front door of the triplets’ house to hear chris and nick in a screaming match. with a roll of her eyes, she makes her way upstairs to see what the unnecessary fuss is all about. as she got to the top of the stairs, y/n couldn’t help but giggle at the fact that the two brothers were arguing over the best ice cream flavour. as their argument escalated, with each of them raising their voices and gesticulating wildly over whether chocolate chip cookie dough or mint chocolate chip is better, y/n sauntered into the living room space, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“okay, okay, you two, we need to settle this once and for all.” she chuckled
y/n knew exactly what she was planning and she couldn't resist the opportunity to tease her boyfriend.
“let’s have a taste test! i’ll be the judge!” she said with a sly grin.
“no fair! you’re just gonna pick nick as the winner because you’re besties!” chris whines.
“no I won’t, baby! it’s all about picking the best flavour!”
“liar.” chris grumbles under his breath.
y/n grabbed both tubs of ice cream from the freezer, she puts a couple of scoops of each flavour into two bowls before setting them down on the dining table in front of her. with two spoons for each tub in one hand and a notebook in the other, she took her role very seriously. she sampled both ice creams, making dramatic faces and comparing notes on flavour, texture, and sweetness. meanwhile, chris and nick are elbowing and punching each other over which flavour she’ll pick. taking one more bite of each, she makes a delighted face at the cookie dough flavour while gagging at the mint chocolate chip flavour, causing both brothers to punch and shove each other once again.
“okay, i have made my decision! the best ice cream flavour is…. chocolate chip cookie dough!”
nick screams with glee as he runs up to his best friend, giving her the biggest hug before yelling at chris.
“i fucking told you! you don’t mess with cookie dough! yes!” nick yells.
“yeah! don’t mess with cookie dough! besides, mint choc chip ice cream is shit!”
“hey! you take that back, princess!” chris shouts, a hint of sadness lacing his voice.
nick takes the winning tub up to his room where he eats it in happiness while y/n walks over to the couch where her boyfriend sulks and pouts like a toddler. pulling him into a hug, y/n reassures him that she still loves him, to which chris forgives her and pulls her into for a gentle kiss on the lips. chris couldn’t help but laugh, realising that no matter the situation, he will always be outnumbered by his girlfriend and his brother.
and so it went in their relationship. y/n’s friendship with nick remained unbreakable, and whenever an argument broke out, she always seemed to take her boyfriend's brother's side, often teasing chris alongside nick. it added a unique and light-hearted dynamic to their love story, reminding them all that the bonds of friendship and family could coexist and thrive in the most unexpected ways.

August 2nd is Juice with the prompt "There is a reason I don't celebrate my birthday". Requested by a lovely Anon. As always my stories are 18+
I thought she would like this thought Juice to himself as he collapsed onto the floor outside of your bedroom door. He knew it was unlocked but had decided against going in. You had not responded to his knocks or request to enter. He knew from the way your eyes had shown with tears and your lip had trembled when you entered the house that you were upset.
For the life of him he wasn't sure why though. He had surprised you before with trips and gifts. He figured a house full of friends for your birthday would be greeted with joy and happiness. He had spent weeks planning the perfect day for you. Everything from breakfast in bed to a day out on the water surfing to a surprise party once you got home.
Streamers and balloons of your favorite colors decorated the whole of the house. Your favorite foods, drinks and birthday cake had been made to perfection. He had been sure of it. You deserved to have the best day ever but yet somehow he had fucked it up.
"Aye Juicy boy. Ye want us to clear out?" inquired Chibs quietly as he entered the hallway a few minutes later. Juice sighed as he looked up. "I don't know. Probably. I'm not sure anymore. We were having such a good day.....I don't know what happened" admitted Juice as he rubbed his face with his hands.
Before anything else could be said the door opened and he fell in at your feet. "Could we talk" you murmured as you sniffled. Your eyes red and puffy and your makeup running down your face. Juices heart broke as he looked up at you but nodded as he sat up when you crouched down to sit next to him.
"I will give you two a few minutes" stated Chibs before heading back the way he had came.
"Tell me what I did wrong babe" murmured Juice as he grabbed your hands as he watched you closely. "Nothing. It's silly. I'm an adult and should be over it" you started as you shook your head and sighed. "I'm sure its not silly. Talk to me" encouraged Juice. "There is a reason I don't celebrate my birthday. Well lots of reasons honestly. This is my fault for never bringing it up. I usually just get the guy to break up with me before my birthday so it's never been an issue before" you rambled as you looked anywhere but at the man you had grown to love over the last ten months.
Juice frowned but waited patiently for you to speak again. "So you know how I don't speak to my family anymore?" you asked looking down at your hands. Juice nodded. It was something you had mentioned on one of your earlier dates. The two of you had bonded over your unique family situations. You had been no contact with yours since you turned eighteen.
"My parents and sister made it clear I was not wanted. They called me a mistake and I was left more often than not to fend for myself. My birthday was always treated as a day to tease, belittle and physically hurt me on occasion. Some years they would trick me into thinking things would change but they never did. My sister always got to use my birthday as her half birthday. So while I was being hit, starved and locked in a cage in the basement. My sister was getting presents, cakes and pony rides." you explained keeping your eyes down as tears started to fall again.
Juice could feel his temper started to flare at your words but kept it contained. He would do some looking into your family. They would pay. Right now he needed to reassure you that would never happen. "I'm sorry that happened to you. I promise my only intent today was to shower you with love and show you how special you are not only to me but to others" started Juice as he lifted your chin up gently. "I'm sorry that you were reminded of your past. I promise you that will never happen again as long as I breathe" he added as he wiped your tears with his thumb.
"Wait here. I'm going to have everyone head out and then I'll draw you a bath okay?" offered Juice as he started to stand. "Actually.....I...I would like...to try having a birthday party. If that is okay" you stammered as you laughed nervously at the silliness of it all. "Of course. I'll let everyone know you will be back out in a bit" stated Juice with a grin as he helped you up and gave you a kiss before heading down the hall.

First Day of School
Pairing: Lily x James
This was requested by @jake26786, hope you enjoy! As always I'm the author (please don't repost).
Masterlist. Read on Ao3
Warnings: fluff, nerves, Lily and James live, idk
Word Count: 583
Description: It's Harry's first day of kindergarten and he's nervous. Luckily he has an amazing mom.
Taglist: @sylveryfire, @jake26786
Lily stood in the kitchen, eating breakfast while she watched James play with Harry. He was zooming around on the small broom that Sirius had sent, making James try to catch him. It was his first day of kindergarten today which was hard to believe. Her baby boy was growing up so fast.
It felt like only yesterday she had found out she was pregnant and now here they were, a happy little family. She smiled softly, watching the two people that she loved most in the world goof around. It was at times like these that she thanked Merlin that they were all alive to see this, Lily couldn’t imagine Harry growing up without his parents. She couldn’t fathom it.
James looked over at her from where he was currently holding their cat who was wriggling around, not wanting to be held. He smiled at her and she remembered. After they were both sorted into Gryffindor she had watched how closely he had bonded with his friends, their matching grins of mischief. The same grin of his that she had started to fall for once they became friends. And now he’s her husband and they have a kid. The girl she used to be would never have believed it. But they had both grown up and changed.
Harry came flying back into the living room, distracting James long enough for their new cat to jump out of his arms. She watched fondly as James gave chase again.
Her heart felt like it was about to burst with happiness watching them all together. She wished that they could just stay here in this moment forever. Harry zooming around on his broom away from James while giggling with glee.
Looking over at the clock she realized that they were running late.
“Harry, we need to go!”
Ten minutes later Harry was in the backseat and Lily was kissing James goodbye.
“Love you, Lils.” He said, tucking a stray hair behind her ear.
“Love you too!” Walking over to the car, she got in. As she backed out of the driveway she yelled, “See you later!”
He waved until they were out of eyesight.
Harry’s excitement and upbeat attitude slowly disappeared the closer they got to the school and Lily got worried. It was just nerves she told herself. He was going to be fine.
She got out of the car and walked around to open Harry’s door for him. He jumped out but immediately wrapped his arm around her legs.
“Mummy… I don't want to go.” Harry said, hugging her tightly.
She brushed his hair out of his face, attempting to reassure him, “Harry my sweetheart. I know it's scary, starting kindergarten. I was scared too, but I soon got used to it.”
“Y-You’ll be here to pick me up?” Harry asked timidly. His green eyes looked up into hers.
“Of course.” Lily promised. “I’ll be here waiting right when school ends and we’ll go for ice cream or something.”
That pulled a smile out of him, showing off his newly lost tooth. He had been so proud. Lily was glad that it had been painless, she remembered when she lost her first tooth. It had hurt so bad and she had been crying so much. Her older sister had comforted her like she was doing now for Harry. She walked with him to the door and watched as he found another kid to sit next to. He was going to be just fine.

All the pretty girls (Pyotr Kochetkov)
Where Pyotr never cared when girls preferred Andrei until it was you.
Note: I thought it would be easier to do and understand if I did it like this, so this means they are speaking Russian.
Our Samuel here is Andrei. Andrei is handsome, charming, talented,... In this fic, from Pyotr's view, all the girls like Andrei. He doesn't care. Andrei is his best friend and he is happy for him. Until it comes to you, a mutual friend. Inspired in All the pretty girls by Kaleo.
Pyotr was sitting in the stool, in a VIPvfar from the dance floor. He had been sitting in that exact point for two hours. He wasn't tired nor drunk. He had stopped drinking a while ago. He didn't feel like it.
His bad mood had started a few days ago. At first he played it cool, he simply tried to think he was overreacting and he shouldn't be that angry. But tthen things got more serious and he became truly bothered.
When Pyotr arrived to the states, his English was more than worse. He wouldn't even say he had an English. Andrei had been his saviour in multiple times, so many that there weren't more fingers to count with. They bonded pretty quickly and soon they were great friends. Pyotr was so attached to his friend, they were flesh and bone. When they started going out with the rest of the team, Pyotr could barely communicate with anyone. So he was stuck next to Andrei and used his friend as a translator. The thing was, girls usually approached them. Both men were attractive and they both caught their eye. Some come to talk to Pyotr, but many (almost all of them) ended up going with Andrei. Pyotr didn't care. He didn't know them, it was just sex. He wouldn't ruin the best friendship he had in the states for a hook up, he was better than that. But then he met you.
You were friends with many of the guys. You were usually with them when they went out. Pyotr met you in a party, at someone's birthday. You were so nice and had a huge smile when Andrei introduced you. The goalie just all heart eyes since then. You were so kind and had so much patience with him. It was so surprising because the language barrier had been a huge issue for him when meeting people. No one wanted to try. But you did, you quickly assured Andrei that he could leave you with Pyotr, that you would manage well. Pyotr had never gotten a crush so fast.
Then he told Andrei and everything went wrong. The man who he believed to be his best friend, started to flirt and got closer than ever with the woman he had confessed to have feelings for. And Pyotr had never felt so broken and alone. He got some time away when he was sent to Chicago, he tried to get over you, to think of something else. But nothing worked because there were you, being as nice as always. There wasn't a day that passed without your text and to be honest, he needed them a lot. But when he came back and Andrei and you were even more closer, he brought you everytime he was with him and was always talking around you. All the pretty girls liked Andrei and he hadn't drawn the line with you, the one he knew his friend was in love with. He had to ask you to dance, to make you laugh, to flirt with you, all of it when Pyotr was right in front of him. It made him feel insecure in ways he had never felt.
But it couldn't be further from reality.
An older and way too drunk man had been watching you while you and Andrei danced. So when you had gone to the bar for a refill, Andrei had shielded you with his body. Pyotr didn't want to look, but he had seen Andre's arm around your waist and such a rage had filled him.
"I don't think he is okay, Andrei" You said to his ear.
Andrei sighed and caressed your back in a reassuring way.
"There is something off today" He agreed.
"Maybe I should go with him" You said and while pinching your lip. "Is everything right at home? Or with the team?"
"Yes, I mean, nothing happened." Andrei said trying to remember. "He tells me everything" But Pyotr had been dry and more distant recently.
"I'll go with him" You walked under Andrei's arm, who called your name and quickly followed you.
"All good, man?" Martin asked.
Pyotr looked at him and nodded. "Good"
"Are you sure? You look sad"
"No, good"
Martin patted him in the shoulder and walked away. When Pyotr turned his eyes back to the dance floor, you weren't there anymore.
"Hey, Pyotr" You appeared on his other side, taking him by surprise. You hand was on his shoulder and you had left a drink in front of his empty glass.
He was out of words, he couldn't speak, just look at you with big puppy eyes.
Andrei was there too, right behind you. It only made Pyotr's blood boil.
You sat and grabbed his hand and electricity ran through his skin.
"Is everything okay? Are you good?" As always, you spoke slow, loud and clear so he could understand.
Pyotr nodded and looked down.
"I brought you a drink, Andrei paid, but it's on me" You tried to joke.
You hated to see him so down. He was your fun and cheerful guy, he was the one who could always put a smile in your lips. He was the one you wanted to always be happy. But today, unlike other days, he had rejected your invitation to dance (or pull those silly moves of his that always made you laugh). He had been in that stool alone and you couldn't think about anything else. Luckily, Andrei had tried to distract you a bit.
Pyotr's eyes moved to Andrei.
"I thought you were different" He spat.
It took Andrei by surprise. He frowned and open his lips to speak, but he was too confused to say anything. When you saw his reaction, you knew that the goalie wasn't looking for a translation.
"Different? What do you mean?" Andrei tried to get closer, but Pyotr got up harshly. Some guys standing close turned to look, some of them got ready to jump if needed. The sudden tension could be cut with a knife and Pyotr was know for be quick when jumping into a fight.
"Different. My friend. A friend doesn't do this" Pyotr told him.
You were standing between them, your hand had fallen to your side and you couldn't be more puzzled. You didn't understand a single world, but you could see how angry Pyotr was.
"Man, I haven't done a thing"
"That's not what I see"
"Maybe you should look better"
"Maybe you should stop flirting with someone that is not yours"
"Who the fuck am I flirting with?"
"YN. I tell you and the first you do is go for her! You can have all the girls you want, but no! You go for-"
"Okay, I don't know what is going on between you two but it's over for now." you said pressing a hand to Pyotr's chest. You couldn't see them fight like this. "I don't know what is wrong with you but you are coming with me"
Pyotr looked down confused. He couldn't ask Andrei for a translation now, could he?
"You, me, out now" You said and grabbed his hand. "And you... I'll tell you once I've cleared everything"
You left hand in hand with Pyotr, pulling him out of the club and leaving Andrei with the others, who were curious about what had happened.
Outside, your ears rang for seconds because of the loud music. Pyotr moved his hand until it slipped form yours and started to walk. He needed a breath, he needed a minute alone.
"Hey, no" You said. Your heart was racing. This wasn't supposed to happen. You had gone out to have fun, to enjoy with your friends and maybe get to spend more time with the guy you liked. And now that guy was walking away from you after fighting his best friend. You saw him kick a pebble in the pavement and then he lifted his hand. "Stop!"
Pyotr froze.
"You will break your hand, stupid" You ran to him and stood between him an the traffic sign he was going to hit. He looked down at you and his hand fell. He felt so weak, he just wanted to go home and sleep until everything was forgotten. "What's wrong?" You gently grabbed his hand.
"Nothing"
You scoffed and rolled your eyes. "Pyotr"
He shook his head and tried to walk again, but you didn't let go of his hand so he just had to accept you were following to his car.
"I want home" He told you.
"I'm going with you"
"Alone"
"No way"
You were already on the passanger seat, so he could only nod and start driving home.
"What did-" You started.
You didn't need to finish. Pyotr couldn't keep everything on his chest any longer.
"Me speak now."
"O-okay"
"Andrei knows" He started. His breath was quick and he couldn't find the correct words. "And he- you- I tell him-"
"Shh. Slow, okay?"
It was so frustrating, he had never feel more trapped in his whole life. There were so many things to tell you but he didn't know how. His heart end up breaking completely.
"You better with Andrei. It better. I'm fine. You speak with him. No with me. You better with Andrei" He managed to say. His knuckles were white on the wheel and his lip was trembling.
You blinked slowly. "Better? How? When?" What did he mean?
"Girlfriend" He choked out.
You gasped and covered your mouth. It was all clicking in your mind. Oh no...
"I'm an idiot. I'm the worse, shit" You told to yourself.
He shot a quick glance and saw you brushing your eyes hard.
"Do you think Andrei and I are together? A couple?"
He shrugged. Maybe not yet, but probably soon.
"He- and you-" Pyotr took a deep breath. "Good couple"
How bad luck was if the guy you were in love with thought that you were dating someone else?
He stopped the car and you looked around. His flat.
"Should we go... Can I?" You pointed to the building and he nodded.
When he opened the door, you sat in the sofa and crossed your legs. You should tell him, he was so upset about it. You fully believed Andrei now.
"Pyotr?"
"mhn"
"Sit with me"
He had taken his shoes and hoodie off and was wearing now only the jeans and t-shirt.
When he sat, you opened your hand and he grabbed it, interlocking your fingers and sighing at the comfort they offered
"Listen carefully, yeah?"
He nodded.
"Andrei and I are not together" You had never felt more nervous in your life. "We haven't been and we won't be"
Pyotr blinked slowly. "No?"
"No. You understand, right?"
He nodded. You weren't daring and he was a prick.
"Andrei and you, not together"
"That's right. I don't like Andrei"
Pyotr frowned.
"Andrei like you"
You shook your head. Now that he was calmer, his puppy eyes and pout were actually cute.
"Andrei doesn't like me" You said. "Andrei is my friend. Just my friend"
His chest was moving slowly with deep breaths. He had fucked up big this time.
"I think Andrei like you when I-"
You moved a bit closer and he looked at you.
"I told Andrei I like you and he- now you and him together all time. You better with him. His English better"
You laughed loudly. "Oh shit"
"What?"
"I like you, Pyotr. Not Andrei. You." You said cupping his cheeks. "You. I'm in love with you"
Again, he was loss of words.
"Andrei and I have been together a lot recently because he was helping me"
He frowned.
"I wanted you to like me. And Andrei made me tag along to all the plans you made"
Pyotr was stunned. He was probably understanding wrong. Every word you said? No way he was right.
"Andrei and I got close because I like you, not because I like him"
Pyotr blinked slowly. "Me"
"Yes, you"
"Not Svech"
"Mhm" You affirmed.
Pyotr took a deep breath. "I fight Svech"
"Yeah, you will have to apologize for that"
"I'm stupid"
"A bit."
"You like me"
"I like you"
"Thanks"
You giggle.
"Thanks"
He nodded and laughed. "Nervous"
"Oh sweetheart, come here"
When you pulled him close, Pyotr felt light. The anger and fear was gone. His best friend wasn't awful and the woman he loved loved him back.
"Me- I thought you like Andrei more because all girls like Andrei more and my English is not good and you can speak to Andrei more-"
With a smile, you kissed his lips. It took him by surprise, yes, but he leaned in and kissed you back. It was a sign for you to climb on his lap. Pyotr groaned a bit and let his hands wander from your back to your waist, hips, back,... He wanted to feel you. He needed to feel you. And you were more than happy with it. Your kisses turned deeper and deeper and soon your hands were tangled on his hair and his under your clothes.
"I always liked you" You said pulling back. "A lot"
"Me too"
You smiled so sweetly and he pecked your lips.
"Pretty?"
"Me?"
"Yes, really pretty"
You kissed his cheek and Pyotr hugged you. Both of his arms wrapped around you so tightly. Then, he laughed and shook you a bit.
"Happy"
"Are you happy?"
You said while setting on his chest.
"the most happy"
"Happiest"
"What?"
You looked at him and brush his hair behind his ear. "You say happiest."
"Okay, I'm the happiest... Because... I am with you?"
"Yes" You nodded.
"And... Wait. One more. Sorry if not right"
"You know that is fine, Pyotr" You kissed him again.
He looked at you not believing completely that you were sitting on his lap and kissing him.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Ah!" You shouted and lifted your arms. "That was perfect!"
He threw his head back laughing.
"Want? Yes or no?"
"Of course I want, silly" You said kissing all over his face. "But you better call Andrei and say you are sorry"
He nodded and pulled his phone.
"Then you and me fuck?"
"Oh shit, Pyotr. Of course you know how to say that" You slapped his chest and got up. "Call Andrei" You told him with a smile.
Pyotr watched you walking to the kitchen and sighed. He was so lucky.
"YN" He called. You loved how your name sounded in that accent of his.
"Mhm"
"Love you"

“You’re late,” he whispers and hands you the book he carried in his hands.
You sigh deeply and glance at the door he walked out of before you look down at the tiger-like curse protecting the door as if some stranger is going to just waltz in and take what he’s protecting. You’ll have to thank Suguru for that, he didn’t want her to be left unprotected when the both of you weren't around; even if she's safe living in a community full of sorcerers, and is taken care of by a sorcerer.
Then again it’s not like it actually matters now; the tiger curse bonded with whom it was assigned to protect; the same way Toji was bonded with that worm that Suguru only got after his death.
“And you’re here,” you deadpan and walk past him to knock on the twin’s door. “Nanako, Mimiko, I’m home,” you announce in a softer tone than what you used with Suguru.
“Yeah, we heard!” Nanako shouts, and neither of them bothers to get up.
“Goodnight!” Mimiko shouts back. “Love you!”
You smile. “Me too! Good night!” You exclaim and then sigh as you turn to make a beeline towards your room without stopping by Suguru’s side.
“What did you do?” He asks calmly.
When you enter your room you put the book down on the shelf and instead grab your pajamas. “I went to a bar with Yuki,” you share. “Did you…end up going over there?”
You don’t need to be specific, he knows. So he answers. “Yes, but I didn’t get any of the action. I only saw the aftermath…the children were saved,” he reveals, making you stop just as you were getting other stuff, and turn to face him with a soft pleading look.
“Tell me Suguru that what you did had meaning,” you say quietly and put your clothes down to step closer to him. “Not everything else, but what you just did today.”
Suguru’s eyes soften and he closes the gap by grabbing your cheeks and pulling you closer to him. “Of course, there was, baby. And we are so much closer to our goal because of it,” he shares with growing excitement. “The curses that littered that school were excorized within seconds after Orimoto Rika was released. All of them, even the bigger one I let out. I didn’t get to see it, but the aftermath…” he trails off and smirks deeply. “It was truly promising. So yes, it has meaning.”
You let out a deep relieved breath and nod lightly. He nonetheless continues. “I’m so much closer to giving you and the girls the world I promised,” he whispers, causing your lips to tug to a smile. “We’re so much closer to ending this misery. I just need that curse and it will all be worth it.”
You hold his gaze and see only reassurance in his dark eyes. So that’s what you feel, comfort. There’s no ounce of doubt anymore, he never lies to you for you to have doubts, and he always accomplishes the promises he makes to you and the girls. So the guilt and hesitation you felt, melt away with his words, and with his fired-up excitement and loving gaze.
Others would see this, hear this, and call it madness perhaps, but all you hear is comfort and hope.
“Okay,” you whisper softly. “Okay, I’m sorry I got upset.”
Suguru shakes his head and caresses your cheeks. “It’s okay don’t apologize.”
You smile wider and grab his hands. “I’ll help you,” you let him know confidently. “We’ll get this curse together, whatever it takes.”
Suguru grins and nods. “Whatever it takes,” he repeats and brushes his thumb over your bottom lip before he begins to kiss you slowly as if teasing you.
You try to deepen the gesture, but he pulls back and begins to press a trail of kisses down to your neck.
“I need to take a shower,” you say breathlessly as you try to focus on anything else but his soft lips. “Suguru,” you muse.
Said man moves up and smashes his lips on yours, this time he’s quick and rougher, he shoves his tongue in you, making you gasp and go weak in the knees. Just as you’re about to stumble he slides one hand down to the back of your knee and slides your leg up to hook it around his waist, while he uses his other hand to grab your ass and lift you up to then throw you on the bed.
You laugh and before you know it, he’s taking his shirt off and flashing a smirk.
“Suguru,” you repeat again. “I’ve been out all day, I need to change out of these clothes at least.”
He snickers. “I’ll help you with that, after all you promised earlier didn’t you?”
You beam at him and welcome him with open arms. When he’s on top of you neither of you wastes any time to rip each other's clothes off and leave each other completely nude.
“Did you lock the door?” You ask him as you wrap your arms around his neck.
Suguru nods as his eyes roam your body. “Yeah, yeah,” he says breathlessly before he leans down and begins to press kisses on the collar of your neck and slowly moves his way down, making you ball the material of the bedsheet as your heart races, and your breathing gets heavier as he fills you with burning desire.
“Suguru,” you gasp breathlessly.
“Hm?” He hums and pulls his mouth away to grab your legs and pull them apart to plant kisses on your inner thigh, making you close your eyes and get lost in the sensation of his lips, of his breath unfurling over your skin, and his warmth over the part where you desire his touch the most.
“I asked for the pictures from your shoot today,” he says between kisses. “And darling, you looked absolutely breathtaking.” He pulls back and you groan in protest, making him snicker. He then moves up to hover over you again.
You would be impatient and flip him over, but instead, you look into his eyes and smile with awe. He mirrors your smile and leans in closer to you, causing his long hair to fall down like a gentle stream around your head, and shielding the single light you had left on in your room.
Neither of you say anything, you just watch each other, study each other's nude bodies basked by the dim light, and look up again. It’s been 11 years since you’ve been together and you still grow flustered under his gaze.
“I love you,” he muses endearly, “Mrs. Geto.”
You giggle and gently cup his cheek and tuck strands of his hair behind his ear. He leans into your touch and kisses your palm.
“I love you, Sugar,” you whisper with a beaming smile.
He grins and then nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck to begin kissing you again. “Mrs. Geto,” he whispers against your flesh.
——
*FIVE YEARS BACK*
You to Nanami: Can we talk, please?
You rapidly knock your knuckle on the table and wait. He might not respond right away, he might not even look at it at all. After all, it's been years since you’ve last talked and seen each other, but you have time to wait; the twins are at school, and Suguru is at his Religious group. You can wait.
Nevertheless, only a few minutes pass before a message comes in from Nanami.
Nanami: Yeah, where? When?
You sigh with relief and feel happy tears fill your eyes. You just thought he’d never want to talk to you again.
You: Right now? Uhm maybe your place? Or somewhere quiet?
Only seconds pass this time before you get a response.
Nanami: Okay, we can meet up at my place. Want me to get a car for you?
Oh? He’s changed, he doesn’t sound so moody anymore. He would’ve never offered to get you a ride before. He would’ve made you pay actually.
It’s a nice change.
You: No, I’m fine, I have my ride. Just send your address.
Nanami doesn’t fret to send his address, he doesn’t interrogate you any longer and just assures you that he’ll be right there. Albeit when you reach his apartment complex you end up waiting in the lobby for him.
You still have plenty of time before the girls are out of school so you don’t grow anxious, you read a book and ignore the wandering stares of the passersby who recognize you from magazines, billboards, and runways they've seen you in. You are a bit nervous to see Nanami again after 4 years of going without contact, but your current concern outbeats that so thankfully that’s not your top priority.
“Y/N?” You suddenly hear your name being called.
You close the book and stand up off the chair.
“Sorry I’m late,” you recognize your friend's voice. “There was traffic.”
You turn around and finally face him, noticing that he no longer has bangs, his hair is a lot shorter and more neatly styled. He looks a lot more muscular now too, or at least it seems that way, he used to be so skinny before. And he looks so formal in his suit. He honestly looks great! A little tired, but hey, who isn’t?
“Nanamin!” You exclaim and run over to him to throw your arms around him.
Regardless of the previous anxiety, and your current concern you still do feel excited to see him.
“Y/N,” he mutters as he gently taps your shoulder before he grows more stiff and pulls back slowly to look down at you. You follow his line of gaze and smirk before you step back and sigh. “I’m sorry, were you working?” You ask with guilt. “It looks like you came out of work. I’m sorry, you should’ve told me to wait—”
“No,” he cuts you off as he reaches for his blue tie to loosen it. “It’s fine, the day was boring anyway. Are you okay? What’s wrong?” He asks and meets your gaze, catching the difference in your eye color and blinking repeatedly with surprise. He doesn’t ask about it though and you don’t comment on it either, you just exhale deeply and feel your concern take priority once again.
“Uh, can we go to your house or something?” You ask.
“Yeah, sorry.” He quickly says and doesn’t waste any more time, he leads you to his apartment. And you have to admit the walk there is pretty awkward, neither of you knows what to really say, and you both have questions ready to ask, but neither of you makes the first move.
When you walk into his studio apartment that’s a different story though. It may not be big, but it’s still very neatly kept, and pretty fancy. The view is great too; you can see the city from his apartment.
“Wow, Nanami, this is very nice,” you muse as you take your coat off while you study his place. “Very organized too.” You smile and look for any sign of a partner just so you can be prepared if they walk in and think the worst.
“Are Geto and you still together?” He finally manages to ask.
You nod. “Mhm, we're married now,” you share with a nervous laugh. “We’re going on almost three years now.”
Nanami scoffs softly. “Sounds like him. Where is he?”
You put your coat on his rack by the entrance and continue to give him your back as you take your shoes off. “He’s at his facility. So working,” you share. “I wanted to talk to you alone.”
“Are you okay?” He asks again as he waits for you by his entrance.
You exhale deeply and share a breathless laugh. “Well, it depends,” you mutter and turn around to face him and catch him off guard.
“Uh,” he breathes out as he looks down at your belly.
“Big breakfast,” you tease as you see him continue to look at you with shock.
Nanami clears his throat awkwardly so you burst out laughing and tap your swollen belly. “I’m fucking with you,” you assure him. “Yeah, I’m knocked up. Don’t worry, it’s not yours.”
Nanami rolls his eyes. “Glad to see you haven’t changed,” he remarks.
You giggle and follow him as he guides you over to his couch. Before you can sit though, he props up pillows and pulls over his footrest like a nice gentleman.
“Nanamin,” you whisper and grab his arm. “It’s okay, I'm just pregnant not invalid. Thank you though.”
He doesn’t listen and tries to make your spot as comfortable as possible before you sit down. “What do you want to drink?” He asks as he steps back. “I have uh, day-old bread. Or crackers. I can make you something.”
You flash him a smile. “No, I just ate breakfast not so long ago. But some water is fine.”
He nods and walks off to his kitchen.
“Do you have a partner?” You probe. “I don’t want them to come home and freak out because they see me here. I’ll feel bad.”
“No,” he quickly answers as he grabs a glass cup. “No partner. You’ll be fine.”
You hum softly and gently fiddle with the edge of your skirt.
“How,” he interjects as he serves water in two cups. “How far along are you?”
You smile softly. “Five months,” you announce. “So halfway there.”
Nanami returns and places a cup of water in front of you before he places his cup down and sits down across from you. “Does…your brother know?” He asks, making you grow stiff and annoyed.
“No,” you deadpan. “He doesn’t know. I haven’t seen or talked to him in four years.” You sigh and take the cup of water to take a long sip, feeling every ounce of excitement, relief, and joy wash away.
“Look,” you change the subject with a more melancholy look on your face. “I’m sorry I made you get out of work, I just didn’t have anyone else to turn to. Tsukumo is away, and…Shoko…I haven’t talked to her in four years, plus, I don’t think she’d want to talk to me, so I thought of you. I hope that’s okay, and I know it’s bad that I call you just to come here and burden you with my problems, but I couldn't think of anyone else.”
“It’s okay,” Nanami assures you softly. “I know it’s been a while, but we’re still friends.”
Your eyes fill with tears and you can’t help but flash him a sad smile at the mention.
“So please don’t be afraid to share your burdens with me,” he adds.
You draw out a deep breath and place the glass down as you gather up how to express yourself without bursting into tears. He never rushes you, he waits until finally you find a way to share. “You know my stance with non-sorcerers. Suguru thinks the same way,” you interject softly. “Albeit he hates them a little more than me, he has no tolerance for them. He…killed his parents so as to not make an exception…” you trail off and draw in a shaky breath and take another sip of water as you grow nervous and scared.
“And,” you add. “I guess I'm scared. I mean, he loves the idea of having the baby. He’s so excited and protective, but what happens when the kid doesn’t have cursed energy?” You finally manage to express your concern. “What happens then? He’ll hate me and the baby. And I’m scared because of it. I mean I can deal with him hating me, but the kid?” You ask rhetorically and feel tears escape from your eyes. “And I know it’s way too soon to tell, but I’m still scared.”
“Why should you be though?” Nanami questions, making you sniffle and look over at him—“you come from a long line of strong sorcerers. Geto is a strong sorcerer. I’m sure your kid will be just as exceptional.”
You manage a faint smile, but that fades away quickly. “The Zen’in’s had Toji,” you explain. “He was born with no cursed energy. And I hear that they have another one who’s just the same. It’s not rare for kids from sorcerer families to be born like non-sorcerers.”
Nanami sighs and nods softly. “Yeah, I guess you’re right,” he says and then goes quiet for a moment. “But,” he then adds. “I don’t think that’ll be your case. Even if it was, that’d make Geto a deadbeat bastard if he’s willing to hate his kid because of something they couldn’t control.”
He might be right, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that you’d feel like it was your fault. And it doesn’t take away from the fact that you’d live with guilt for the rest of your life for your child because her father couldn’t love her.
“Yeah,” you mumble. “I guess you're right.”
“And if it happens you always have your brother,” he adds, making you grow stiff and annoyed.
“Please,” you mutter with that clear emotion. “I don’t want to talk about Satoru.”
“Y/N,” Nanami scolds you. “I can’t tell you to forget what happened, but he’s still your brother.”
You clench your jaw and shrug. “I don’t care. He left, so I’m leaving him behind. So please don’t bring him up anymore, and don’t tell him about anything. Don’t tell anyone.”
Nanami sighs and nods. “Okay.”
You hum and wipe away your tears.
“Look,” he continues to say. “I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I’m sure your kid will turn out to be a sorcerer. I’m sure that they’ll be as strong as you…”
You smile softly.
“And if they don’t then…you always have a place here. You and your kid.”
You gasp softly and tears rush down your cheeks. “Thank you,” you murmur. “You’re nice. Nicer than before that’s for sure.”
Nanami scoffs and smiles softly at the ground. “I was a moody teenager then.”
“Weren't we all?” You agree. “Are you still a sorcerer?” You can’t help but ask since there’s really nothing either of you can do about your situation right now. You just needed to talk to someone and hear their advice.
“No,” Nanami reveals. “I quit that. I’m a working stiff now. You?”
“Well,” you sigh and sit back. “I hunt curses, yeah. I do odd jobs with Tsukumo, but right now I am on maternity leave.” You laugh softly.
“Besides that,” Nanami adds. “I see you’re doing well for yourself. I mean you're doing your dream job.”
You grin and nod. “Yeah, you remembered! Yeah,” you repeat. “Well after I dropped out, I worked to get stronger, but after that, I said what the heck, I’m going to try, and next thing I knew I’m walking down runways and shooting for magazine covers.”
Nanami smiles and nods softly. “Good for you. I'm glad you could follow that dream,” he shares. “I don’t think it would’ve been possible if you stayed at school.”
You hum in agreement and drink more water, and as you do, you feel the baby kick so you jolt up and rush over to your friend. “Oh my god, give me your hand,” you say quickly and grab his hand regardless. “She’s kicking, wanna feel?”
Nanami looks down at your belly and hesitates before he mutters his response slowly. “Okay?”
You beam at him and press his hand against the spot where you feel her kick. Rather than looking down you watch Nanami, and see his breath catch, and his eyes widen slightly as he feels her.
“Cool, huh?” You muse. “The twins love to lay on me and feel her move.”
“Twins?” Nanami asks as he pulls his hand away.
You nod. “Yeah, we adopted twin girls that Suguru rescued…Maybe we can hang out again and you can meet them. They’re my pride and joy.” You mention with a soft smile.
Nanami hums softly. “Yeah. That’d be nice,” he agrees.
You beam at him and then sit back in your seat to add something else about the baby. “Suguru and I wanted to name the baby Yu, if it was a boy, just like—”
“Haibara,” Nanami finishes for you as his lips tug to a soft smile.
You nod softly. “Yeah,” you whisper. “But it turns out we’re expecting a girl, so now, we’re clueless as to what we want to name her. Suki is up in the air, or Kiko, but we’re still debating. So if you have a suggestion that’d be great.”
Nanami chuckles. “I wouldn't have a clue,” he says.
“Well,” you sigh. “We still have four months left to decide, so.”
“Are you scared?” Nanami interjects. “To have your baby, I mean.”
“A little,” you admit. “But mostly I’m excited. I can’t wait, I want to meet her already.”
“You know out everyone I never expected you to have a kid,” Nanami shares softly, catching you a surprise. “I thought your brother would, but not you. Now that you’re expecting one, I’m happy for you, y/n. I’m happy that you found a way to live your life outside of our messed-up world. I know you'll make a great mother.”
Happy tears fill your eyes and your heart skips a beat. “Thank you, Nanami. Thank you for everything,” you tell him sweetly. “I hope we can continue to talk and hang out so you can meet her. So we can continue to be friends as well. I missed you, you know.”
“Yeah,” he whispers. “School was never the same after you left…I missed you too,” he admits, making you grin softly.
Your fear about your child’s future won’t go away, but you’re happy that you got your friend back in your life. You really missed him.
——
*NOW.*
“Hello! Can I come in?!”
“Oh, your child’s awake,” you whisper against Suguru’s chest as you’re snuggled up against him after you exhausted yourselves after last night's passionate activities.
“It was getting late,” he comments on the fact that your daughter always wakes up at the same time every morning and never fails to come to your room first—“Yes, Satori, you can come in,” he addresses the visitor as he caresses your back.
The door opens and the sound of stomping paws rush in and skid to a stop by the bed.
“What did I say about that curse in the room?” You question as you keep your head on Suguru’s chest.
“Mommy!” Satori ignores you before you feel her jump on the bed and crawl over to throw herself on you. “You’re finally home.”
You hum. “I got home late, sorry, Chipmunk.”
Little arms wrap around you and her long strands of hair fall over your face. “We missed you,” she muses.
You pull your arm out from under her and hug her tightly against you. “I missed you too.”
“Guess what?” She asks, making you open your eyes and meet her dark brown eyes looking at you already.
“What?” You whisper.
She leans close to your ear, causing her black hair to cover your eyes as it falls all over the place now. “Daddy said we’re going to buy your birthday present soon,” she whispers loudly.
“Excuse me?” Suguru cuts in. “That’s supposed to be a secret, Chipmunk.”
Satori giggles. “But daddy, I didn’t tell her what it was.”
You smirk and glance at Suguru. “You’ll tell me, huh?” You ask your daughter.
Satori pushes herself up and stabs her knee in your ribs as she does, making you groan.
“Well,” she mumbles. “No, because Nana said she’d take away my dolls if I did.”
You giggle. “Oh, don’t worry she won’t.”
“But last yesterday—”
“The other day,” Suguru corrects her.
“Oh…the other day, she hid my doll! And she didn’t want to give it back,” she whines and pouts. “She’ll do it again. Daddy, you have to tell her something,” she complains and throws herself on him, making sure to squeeze herself between him and you even though his other side is empty.
She always does this. She’s like…Satoru in that way, always wanting Suguru’s attention for themselves.
“I’ll talk to her,” Suguru assures his young daughter. “Okay?”
Satori nods and continues to push you back with her feet so Suguru can hug her instead. “Are you going to work today?” She asks him.
“No, I’m going to be home all day today,” he says with a smile, causing her to squeal—“what do you want to do today?” He asks. “Maybe we could go harvest some apples with your mommy and your sisters?”
“Apple pie?” She asks. “Uncle Larue makes the best.”
Suguru smiles brightly and nods. “Yeah, we can definitely ask him.”
“Yay!”
“What about me?” You complain as you’re left on the edge. “I’m cold over here.”
Satori and Suguru both look over at you at the same time, and their resemblance shows off as they’re side by side. She’s literally a mini him except for in personality, she probably takes after you in that. Or…he who shall not be named anymore.
“Well,” Satori mutters as she lays her head on Suguru’s neck. “I guess you can be with us.”
Suguru snickers, and you move yourself back to lay beside your daughter.
“You know,” you muse as you cover her with the blanket. “You used to sleep on your daddy’s chest all the time when you were a baby.”
Satori rolls her eyes. “Yes, Mommy I know, you tell me all the time.”
You smile brightly and drag yourself closer to Suguru. “And I used to lay right here and watch you guys sleep,” you add.
Satori can’t help but smile as she clutches onto Suguru as if he were going to disappear out of the blue. If she could, she’d go with him everywhere, she’d even go with him to his religious facility, but he says she’s still too young to be there so she stays home with Belinda, or you, or the twins instead. She’s attached to him though, and infatuated with the curses he can manipulate. She’s not scared of them like you were at her age. It makes you glad.
But regardless, this attachment is born out of how spoiled she is by Suguru, which is why she wants to go everywhere with him, he spoils all three of them. And you too. And you can’t say you don’t like it because you do, especially when he spoils the girls, it makes your heart flutter.
“Hey!”
You look over at the door and see Nanako walk in with her hand on her hip. “When is breakfast going to be ready? We’ve been waiting,” she complains.
“Maybe you and Mimiko can make breakfast?” You suggest teasingly as you sit up.
Nanako doesn’t like your joke though, and scoffs before she walks over and throws herself on the bed. “Hey we should catch that scary movie that came out last week,” she says, making Satori gasp.
“No! We’re going to pluck apples today!” She exclaims.
“We can do both,” Nanako argues.
You look at her with concern. “Maybe something not scary?” You suggest.
“You lost the bet,” Mimiko interjects as she slowly makes herself inside the room. “You promised one scary movie.”
Tsk.
You groan softly in protest. “This totally sucks, but I guess you’re right.”
“So what about it, Geto?” Nanako presses as she places her phone down.
Suguru looks up at the ceiling and speechlessly recoils over the fact that he’ll have to be stuck in a theater with non-sorcerers, but he doesn’t actually express his complaint, he sighs instead and nods. “Okay, that’s fine.”
Nanako grins and goes back on her phone, letting you glance over at Mimiko and smile at her as you pat the empty spot beside you.
She looks at the spot for a second before she slowly makes her way to your side to lie beside you.
“For now though,” Suguru adds. “Why don’t we go eat, hm? Satori why don’t you come help me?” He asks.
The little girl finally gets off him and claps joyfully. “Okay! Yay!” She exclaims and quickly climbs off the bed to run to the bathroom first. Suguru follows her and helps her brush her teeth, leaving you with the girls alone.
“So,” Mimiko interjects. “Are you guys closer to getting that special grade curse?”
You sigh and feel her head fall on your shoulder, letting you lay your head on hers as you explain the situation. “Well, not really. But we want to get her soon, Suguru just made his first move though, so we’ll wait a bit until we make our next move before we finally go for the win.”
And you did wait, a few months. You didn’t want to get caught before you could come up with a good strategy to take the curse, so you waited a few months before Suguru decided to make his next move to finally lure Okkotsu out to see the power Rika was blessed with for yourselves.
“Do you really think he’ll release her?” You doubt Suguru as he helps you up on the end of the beam that’s several feet over the abandoned shopping center.
“I’m sure he will,” Suguru assures you as he summons the worm curse to wrap it around his shoulders. “With the semi-first grade curse I’ll release, he’ll have to if he wants to save his friend.”
You hum and lean against the wall to wait for the students they sent out for this mission. “Well if he doesn’t and I get some kind of disease up here,” you complain. “I hope you’re ready to cremate me.”
Suguru scoffs at your over-dramatic comment and stands across from you to watch the entrance.
“If he doesn’t bring out Rika then what?” You ask seriously this time. “The cursed-speech user has his limits, you know. Knowing my brother and the school, Okkotsu is probably already training with something else, so if he doesn’t bring out Rika then what?”
Suguru rubs his chin and looks over at you to meet your gaze. “Well then if they're in trouble you can jump in and help them, we can’t risk Okkotsu dying without having her out. The veil will give you cover so you won’t be seen when the job is done.”
You scoff with amusement. “Jump in and look like some whack job just hanging out ready to save kids in veils? They’ll figure us out on the spot.”
“Well,” he argues. “You wouldn't have to get down, an air technique will be discreet and execute the curse without you having to be seen.”
You sigh and nod. “Yeah, that’s right, but he’ll know for sure.”
Suguru nods. “He’ll know today regardless of what happens,” he says. “So it won’t matter. Let’s just hope they don’t protect the kid and make it impossible to reach.”
You chuckle. “Yeah,” you comment on that matter sarcastically. “That’ll happen.”
Suguru snorts softly. “Yeah, you’re right,” he agrees with you. “But he is Satoru’s student, who knows maybe he’s different.”
You avert your gaze and frown at the thought, but you also hope that Suguru’s right about Satoru protecting Okkotsu, because at least he’ll protect the kid better than he protected you that day nine years ago.
“Look,” Suguru breaks you from your thoughts. “They’re here.”
You take a peek past the wall and see a skinny boy in the school uniform with short white hair and a scarf around the bottom of his face—that must be the cursed speech user.
You then spot Okkotsu next to him. Suguru had found his school ID, so you knew what he looked like, but what’s way more visible now is his dark eye bags. Plus he wears white rather than a usually dark-colored uniform. Why?
Yet that’s not the most outlandish thing about Okkotsu, now that you’re close to him you can’t help but freeze and gasp with shock as you quickly feel his cursed energy. It’s impressive and terrifying at the same time. It’s also a lot more than Satoru’s ever was. It’s so…unbelievable.
It would’ve been nice getting to know him now that you see how special he is, but, oh well.
“Come on,” Suguru whispers excitedly. “It’s almost time.”
A veil is drawn so you push yourself away from the wall, but continue to hide under the shadows until a pack of low-level curses create some tornado in the middle of the shopping center. You use that as cover and walk further down the beam to sit in the middle with Suguru beside you.
The curses are busy with the students so they pay no mind to Suguru or you, letting you watch as they form an orb and get louder. Before you know it though, you make out the cursed-speech user walking to the curses, so you use your cursed technique and form a thin water shield in front of Suguru and you, just in case.
The cursed-speech user is strong, so it’s unknown how far his sound waves will reach, and water catches sound waves so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
“Explode!” A voice booms out through the silence, and with that single command all the curses combust, and luckily only the aftershocks of the explosion reach you.
“Truly amazing,” you muse. “I’ve never seen that in action…I would’ve liked to have that technique, it’s cool.”
Suguru glances over at you, you can feel his stare from the corner of his eyes—“like you would've actually enjoyed not being able to speak,” he interjects.
You tilt your head to the side and meet his gaze with a smile. “Ugh, so true,” you agree.
“Maybe our next kid can have that,” he comments.
You snort and retort. “Now how are they going to have that, it’s an inherited technique, dork.”
Suguru smirks and shrugs whilst you both look back down at the scene. “It can happen, it can be a rare case, but it can happen.”
You shake your head and listen as he proceeds to lower a veil, “emerge from darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure,” he chants.
The person who lowered the other veil must be weak if Suguru can cover it with ease. So your brother isn’t the one supervising his students today. That’s good to know.
“Here we go,” Suguru murmurs as he releases a short light blue curse with a big nose and tusks.
Once the kids see it you see Okkotsu reach for his weapon, so you lean forward with curiosity and hope to see the curse attached to him. But Suguru’s curse attacks first, and the cursed-speech user counters by only managing to twist the curses fingers.
“Nice try,” you praise the boy while he falls down. Your eyes then drift to Okkotsu as he runs over and drags his comrade away from the curse, letting you sit back and focus back on Suguru as you wait for their next move.
“Anyway, how many kids do you want?” You ask.
Sure you’ve asked before, but answers change.
“How many ever come out,” he says and turns his head to meet your gaze.
You huff. “I need a clear answer,” you counter. “I’m going to be the one carrying them, and popping them out.”
Suguru draws in a deep breath and drifts his gaze away as he thinks
“Maybe until we have a boy?” You suggest.
“Well,” Suguru breathes out. “What if we have a boy next? I want at least three more.”
You laugh softly. “Three? Man. Okay.” You nod softly in comprehension. “Well, you might get your fourth soon after this morning.”
Suguru’s lips pull to a smirk and he tilts his head. “Well, I can make that a definite possibility later.”
You mirror his smirk. “Oh? Is that a promise?” You tease.
Suguru leans towards you. “We can make it a binding vow,” he whispers in a soft and soothing voice.
You watch him with an enamored look before you beam at him. “No need,” you assure him. “Let’s do it. Maybe go on a nice date, and not do it at home? A hotel?”
Suguru grins. “Well, okay. That works,” he agrees, “I know where to take you too.”
“Oh?” You probe excitedly.
“It’s a surprise though,” he teases.
You hold his gaze for a moment before you smile timidly and then look back at the scene as you see Okkotsu walking out to face the curse. You expect—hope he’ll display Rika, but he only imbues his blade with cursed energy.
The curse gives him everything it has, but Okkotsu proves to be what you expected, a trained swordsman. Even when he gets wounded he keeps Rika in and instead helps the cursed-speech user come out and give the finishing blow. Much to your disappointment.
“Well,” you breathe out and stand up while the kids walk away. “This blows.”
“Oh, what do we do about the veil?” You hear Okkotsu ask.
“What a shame,” Suguru interjects as he swings his leg off the other. “We came here to see Rika,” he says while the worm curse gives him the ID. “As a fellow special-grade, I was hoping to meet him soon. I needed to deliver something he dropped, too.”
“Well,” you groan with distaste. “Looks like we’ll have to move to plan b.” You press your hand on your hip and groan.
Suguru gets up and while he lowers the veil, the worm curse drags itself over to you to drape itself on your shoulders. You smile at it and scratch the top of its head before you caress his head with your cheek as he presses himself against you.
“Let’s have a family reunion first,” Suguru says as he makes room for you to walk past him. “Go over our plan and then move to plan b.”
It’s been ten years. You did good at avoiding your older brother for ten years, now you’ll break that streak and probably see him again at the place that holds the most memories of your cherished teenagehood.
“We’re going to have to lie to Satori,” you mention as you walk out of the emergency exit. “If she finds out who we’re going to see, she's going to want to stick along.”
“You don’t want them to meet yet?” Suguru queries.
You sigh and drop your head when you land on the alleyway by the shopping center. “No,” you deadpan. “Not yet. At least…not there. I don’t trust people not to go tell my family about her. The school is too public.”
Suguru hums in comprehension. “They’ll eventually know you know. We can’t hide her forever.”
You lift your gaze to look at the end of the alleyway and nod softly. “I know, but I want her to at least know how to defend herself a bit before they find out. If they—”
“They won’t,” Suguru cuts you off to assure you. “I won’t let them hurt her.” He reaches over and grabs your hand, not caring what people might say since he’s wearing his Buddha costume. “The curse I gave her won’t let it happen, and you and our family would never let it happen.”
You hold his gaze and feel the comfort you seek by that simple look. When you walk out of the alleyway and join the sidewalk to go to your waiting car, you go back to the previous topic.
“I was promised a show,” you comment as you let go of his hand to hug the worm's head. “We only got to see the fucking preview. If you can even count that as a preview,” you grumble.
“Well I didn't—” Suguru cuts himself off as he hears you mimic him.
“Stop that,” he mutters.
You mirror his serious facial expression and do it again. “Stop that.”
Suguru groans and rolls his eyes, making you and the worm smirk.
“You know Satori has started that habit too,” Suguru points out with annoyance. “I see where she gets it from now.”
You ignore him and wrap the worm around your shoulders before you interject seriously as if you’re upset. “Do you know what’s not right?”
“What?” Suguru doesn’t fret to probe.
“Left,” you interject with a growing smirk as you try not to laugh at your own joke.
Suguru sighs deeply and quickens his pace to try and reach the car faster. You finally burst out laughing and don’t wait to run over and throw yourself on his back.
“It’s a joke!” You say between laughs. “Laugh! It’s funny, I totally got you.”
“You’re such a dork,” he murmurs with a soft smile.
——
*THE NEXT DAY*
“Please! Help me! It’s been months and Geto has not accomplished his duty to me!” Kanemori, one of Suguru’s donors exclaims through heavy and exhausted pants.
“Duty to you?” You mock him and laugh softly before you look away from your nail to look at the sweaty man with disgust. “You see,” you sigh and prop your elbow on the armrest. “I would, but I hear that you’re behind on payments, so I will recommend talking to my husband about your condition,” you roll out and offer him a feigned smile. “Albeit I'd watch my tongue if I were you, my husband isn’t as merciful as me.”
Mr Kanemori drops his head and groans before he mutters. “Bitch.”
Nanako gasps as if he had offended her, but you simply smirk with amusement.
“All these years and you’re still nothing but Geto’s slutty housewife,” he sneers out of anger over the fact that you didn’t help him exorcize the curse that clings onto him.
“Well,” you sigh nonchalantly and only seem to piss him off more since you remain calm. “Maybe that’s true, but just remember the only reason you’ve lived this long is because of me. He could’ve killed you the first month you fell behind on your payment, but I told him to give you time. So do you have it?” You ask.
Mr Kanemori swallows thickly and parts his lips to make an excuse, but you cut him off. “Oh, well, what a pity. It looks like it’s time I be a good housewife and take out the trash.”
You swiftly flick your wrist and shoot off a blast of wind that slams into him so hard that he flies out of the room.
“Anyway, what were we talking about before?” You move on quickly as the man stumbles on his feet and begins to yell.
“Geto! Give me Geto! Geto!” His footsteps recede and his voice lowers as he gets further away. “Geto, control your wife—”
Before he can finish his complaint he gets cut off by Suguru, you imagine, he really hates it when people try to bad-mouth you; both non-sorcerers and sorcerers alike. It’s something he’s done since you were teenagers, but now as he’s grown more ruthless, he doesn’t tolerate it whatsoever. It’s something you can say you’re very proud of.
“Oh, that’s right! Miguel,” you bring up your previous conversation before you were so rudely interrupted. “What did you want to show me?”
Said man approaches you and shows you his arm to point at a dark spot. “Come on tell me, does that look cancerous.”
“I’m no doctor,” you mutter as you grab his arm and take a better look. “What does that look like to you Mimiko?”
Mimiko leans over and glances at the spot, and shakes her head.
“You know what?” You snicker. “It’s an age spot! You’re just getting old.”
Miguel pulls his arm away and shoots you a pointed look that makes you shrug.
“I don’t know what you expected, I’m not a doctor,” you remind him. “But maybe it’s that cream you’re using. It’s not a good product. I can give you something better if you give me that recipe I’ve been wanting.”
Miguel folds his arms over his chest and shakes his head. “No, it’s a recipe passed through generations of my family,” he says. “I won’t just hand it out to anyone.”
You scoff. “We’re family,” you point out.
Miguel shrugs. “Yeah, and I still won’t give it to you. I’ll keep making it myself for all of us.”
You pout. “You suck.”
He snickers and Mimiko joins him. You frown and before you can counter, Suguru bursts through the doors with a smile on his face as he comes in shouting. “The time is right, my family.”
You shift in your seat and watch him approach you, and your family gathered around you at the end of the room.
“Let’s lower the curtain on the age of monkeys,” Suguru adds joyfully and stands beside you. “And build a paradise for Jujutsu sorcerers. First, we must tell the cornerstone of the Jujutsu world, Jujutsu High.”
What a pain in the ass. You really don’t want to see him again. There’s a chance he might not be there, he could be busy, but you feel like there’s a higher chance that you will see him when you go shortly. What will he do? What will you do?
You can’t attack anyone yet, but will your anger heighten, or will you not feel it anymore? When you think about what he did you get annoyed and upset all over again, you hate that he left, but seeing him face to face can be a different story. It can bring a rush of many unwarranted emotions.
And sure, you can keep your cool and control your emotions when it matters, but you worked so hard to try and suppress the agony, and getting reminded of that won’t be good. But then there’s the other possibility…and that is that you might not feel anything at all anymore and you’ll just have to live with the fact that he hates you now, that everything you once were is a simple memory.
Maybe that’ll be the worst of all. You can live with being upset at each other, you can tolerate not talking to each other, fighting too, but having him hate you?
Then again why should it matter if he hates you? You stand on different sides of your world, no matter what happens he’ll never come to terms with the ideology you follow. So should it matter if he hates you or not?
No…
“Why not catch them off guard?” Toshihisa interjects. “Won’t that work better? If we plan it good we won’t even have to fight long.”
“A surprise attack is often beneficial,” Suguru says. “But not this time. If we go in with a surprise attack all the sorcerer's that work at the school will be there and foil everything. We need them to be distracted and away from the school for our plan to work, which is why we’re letting them know.”
“What if they try and attack you now?” Manami questions.
“It’s highly doubtful,” you cut in. “They won’t risk putting the students at risk, but if they do try anything that’s why I will go with Suguru.”
“I’ll go too,” Miguel volunteers.
“No,” Suguru rebuttals. “I don't want them to see you yet. Your weapon is an advantage against Satoru Gojo, I'd rather keep that a surprise until the battle.”
Miguel doesn’t argue, he nods in comprehension, letting Suguru then look at Larue. “Will you come, Larue?” He asks. “There’s a high chance they won’t attack, that’s not my intention today either, but if they do then can you help us?”
Larue rolls his head to the side and then nods nonchalantly. “Yeah, sure.”
You offer him a thankful smile and then get interrupted by a shout. “Hey, I want to go too!” Nanako exclaims as she puts her phone down. “Plus there’s this crepe spot close to there that I want to try, so can we go?!”
Your eyes brighten and you sit up and cut in with the same excitement. “Hey, and there’s that shopping center near there that I want to go to too, so that totally works out, yeah, Suguru?”
Suguru and you look at each other, and he hesitates but ultimately gives in. “Yeah, that’s fine. Now as to battle plans let’s discuss that after dinner tonight? It’s been a while since we’ve all been together like this.”
Without hesitation everyone agrees, making you and him happy.
“So now,” he moves on smugly. “Let’s go declare war.”
You sigh deeply and don’t feel your dread go away at any moment during your way there. So it’s a good thing Suguru decided to use one of his flying curses to travel on and make things quicker, or else you would have lost yourself in your wandering mind.
Then again it’s not like returning to Jujutsu High actually resolves anything, or makes things quieter within you. It’s only a trigger for memories of your past to rush through you and make your complexity only feel worse.
“Ugh, what a piece of junk,” you complain as you take a look at part of the school and notice that it hasn’t changed in the past nine years since you’ve last been here. “This place never changes.”
Suguru grabs your hand to help you out of the bird's mouth, while he also takes a look at the school. “Tell me about it,” Suguru agrees.
“Yuck!” Nanako exclaims with disgust as she leans over the bird's mouth. “Geto, Y/N, is this really Tokyo? Feels like the sticks.”
You put on sunglasses and scrunch your nose in disgust as a wave of nostalgia hits you while you keep studying this damned school.
“Nanako,” Mimiko interjects softly. “That’s rude.”
“What? But don’t you think so, too, Mimiko?”
You finally look down and see Okkotsu and the speech-cursed user along with one of Yaga’s cursed corpse, a panda, and one of the Zen'in girls, the one with no cursed energy.
“Come on!” Larue exclaims as he leans towards Nanako. “Get off already!”
“Aren’t you cold?” Nanako rebuttals, causing you to snicker.
“Yeah or do those nipple covers come with built-in body warmers?” You tease, making Nanako laugh while Larue glares at you.
“Who are they?” Mimiko interjects, pulling your gaze back to the students.
“Whoa!” Nanako exclaims as she points ahead. “It’s a panda!”
You sigh and share a knowing glance with Suguru before you cut in. “Bunny, it’s not polite to point,” you gently remind her.
The girl ignores you and proceeds to take pictures. “How cute!”
“And who are all of you!” The Panda directs at all of you. Which they should've done the moment you all landed. You could’ve easily killed them already—“Intruders aren’t allowed in, by Yuta here.”
“Kelp!” The cursed-speech user agrees? Or disagrees? Is he hungry?
“Huh?” Okkotsu rebuttals in confusion.
“No sign of him yet?” You ask Suguru.
“Not yet, but someone will be here shortly, hopefully,” he says.
“Go home before you get beaten!” The Zen’in girl bounces off the others' comments. “By Yuta!”
“Huh?!”
Suguru lets go of your hand and zooms over to Okkotsu to take his hands and finally introduces himself while you wait for the others to get here. “Nice to meet you, Okkotsu. I’m Geto Suguru.”
The other kids look at your husband surprised at how fast he got to Okkotsu, while the boy looks at Suguru nervously and kind of confused.
“Huh?” Okkotsu says. “Oh…nice to meet you…” he trails off.
“You possess a truly wonderful power, I see,” Suguru continues to say. “I believe that great power ought to be used toward great ends. Have you ever questioned the current state of the world? This world where Jujutsu sorcerers act in secret in order to protect the order of commonplace society.”
“Did Geto and you really come here?” Mimiko asks as she approaches you.
You watch Suguru as he pulls back from Okkotsu and nod. “Yeah, a long time ago now,” you say quietly.
“You see,” you listen to Suguru add while you watch him walk around the boy. “There’s this established paradox saying the strong must accommodate the weak.” He turns and throws his arm around Okkotsu’s shoulders before he dramatically expresses himself. “It’s so deplorable!”
You walk over to the short fence with a smile on your face as you find his whole act over dramatic. “He’s so dramatic,” you mumble to the ground as you hide your smile.
“I’ll say,” Larue agrees with you. “How much you wanna bet he was rehearsing that on his way here.”
You snicker and lean back against the fence as you look over at Suguru with a straight face and a stifled laugh.
“The apex of all creation has halted its own path of evolution!” Suguru adds louder. “It’s nonsense.”
You have to admit though, that he does look pretty when he makes those faces.
“It’s high time mankind reconsidered its strategy for survival!” Suguru says. “Which is why we’d like you to help us.”
“Help with what?” Okkotsu asks, and as he does you gasp softly as you catch the glimpse of short white hair through the trees. And you know it can only be one person.
“We’re going to kill all non-sorcerers,” Suguru reveals nonchalantly. “And create a world with only Jujutsu sorcerers.”
The kids react to what was said, and you react with the same disbelief as you finally see him after nine years. It’s a good thing you have sunglasses, it’s actually why you brought them, so he wouldn't look you in the eyes, but the shades don’t hide your face nor do they block his.
You see him clearly, you notice he actually looks like he got fucking taller. He wears bindings over his eyes now instead of shades, which is probably more convenient. His hair doesn’t like it’s that shaggy anymore, it looks more neatly styled now which suits him better. And he looks like he got more muscular, but you can’t tell all that much with his baggy clothes.
And another thing is clear, your anger, that resentment you felt after he left you in that house with your abusive family, is all still there. You still feel it raw and burning within you. It’s still alive—or is it something else? Anger for what could’ve been if he had taken you home that day, if he had come in any of those 5 days that you spent getting tortured. Is it guilt too?
No…it can’t be that…
It’s just pure anger.
“Could you stop preaching your crazy beliefs to my students?” Satoru speaks in a voice that has grown a bit deeper, but not that much.
Nevertheless, he then turns his head and you see him face you. His eyes are hidden, but you can feel his stare linger on you even as you look away.
“Satoru!” Suguru exclaims happily. “Long time no see!”
Mimiko seemed to have noticed your reaction to seeing your brother so she gently hooks her arm around yours, making you look at her and smile softly as you grab her hand and caress it gently.
“First of all, get away from those kids, Suguru,” Satoru adds, making you look up and see that more sorcerers have joined this confrontation; Muscle-head Yaga, Mei-Mei whom you just saw a few months back, Nanami whom you actually saw a couple weeks ago when you went to hang out at a bar. You also see Ijichi whom you haven’t seen in over ten years, he looks so much older, like, older than your brother even.
There are other sorcerers you don’t recognize, and there’s no Shoko. But that’s good, you don’t want to see her disappointment, you can’t face it. That’s why you avoided speaking to her over the years, no matter how much you miss her.
“I had heard this year's first-years were all outstanding students,” Suguru says with a smirk. “Now I understand, it was all your doing. A special-grade cursed human, a cursed corpse mutation, the descendant of the cursed speech users, and…the Zen’in clan's failure.”
The girl swiftly points her blade at Suguru and sneers, “you piece of—”
“Watch what you say,” Suguru cuts her off with no ounce of remorse, his voice is cold and his threat is sincere. “Because I don’t need any monkeys like you in my world.”
With that said the shy-looking boy slaps Suguru’s hand off his shoulders and counters. “I’m sorry. I don’t really understand what you’re talking about, but…I can’t help anyone who insults my friends!”
You smirk at his sudden confidence and speechlessly praise the boy for defending his friends; even the Zen’in girl whom you actually don’t dislike, after all, if she does have heavenly restriction like you’ve heard she has, then she’s special. Just like Toji Zen’in was.
“My apologies,” you hear Suguru tell Okkotsu. “It wasn't my intention to upset you.”
“Then what exactly did you come for?” Satoru asks as he puts himself between Suguru and his student.
“To declare war,” Suguru reveals with a smug smirk before he faces all the other sorcerers. “Everyone gathered here, open your ears and listen closely! On the coming December 24th, when the sun sets, we shall conduct the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons,” he says and steps back so everyone can see him as he makes himself clear.
“It will take place in the crucible of curses, Shinjuku Tokyo, and the holy land of Jujutsu, Kyoto. We will unleash a thousand curses upon each place,” Suguru shares. “And of course, their command will be massacre. If you wish to avoid a scene straight out of hell, come and stop it with all your might. Let us freely curse each other!”
You smirk confidently as everyone falls in shocked disbelief at the horror that was announced, but then through the tension, Nanako screams, causing Mimiko to lean towards you, and you and Larue to lean away out of embarrassment.
“Geto!” Nanako breaks the tension. “The store’s gonna close! And Satori and Belinda are already there!”
“Oh, it’s already that late?” Suguru asks as he looks back at her calmly before he looks over at your brother again and speaks to him one last time. “I’m sorry, Satoru. These girls just insist on getting crepes from Takeshita Street.
“Hurry!” Nanako interrupts.
Suguru begins to turn but adds one more thing. “So I’ll be taking my leave.”
“Bunny,” you mutter with annoyance as you turn to walk back to the bird. “What did we say about interrupting?”
“Okay, but don’t act like you don’t want some too, plus the faster we get out of here, the faster we get to go shopping!”
You grin. “That’s so true! You’re so smart,” you praise her.
“Good grief,” Suguru sighs as he walks back to the bird. “I don’t see what’s so good about a place with so many monkeys,” he says.
Mimiko lets go of you, and you help her back on the bird as you peer back to look at Suguru. “Okay, I changed my mind,” you interject. “No shopping center, we want to go to the mall.”
Suguru proceeds to grab your hand to help you up. “You and who?” He asks as he dreads it.
“The twins, Larue, me, and Satori of course!”
Suguru scoffs. “Sure she does, you know how much she hates spending time there. So how about you guys go, and Satori and I go home,” he tries to make an excuse.
You flick your wrist and brush him off. “No, I want your opinions on things,” you whine. “Plus,” you add with a growing smirk. “I forgot my wallet at home.”
You didn't.
Suguru sighs deeply and just as he’s going to agree, he gets cut off by your brother. “Did you think we’d just let you leave?” He questions.
“You don't want to do that,” Suguru warns him whilst he pulls out a giant curse before him, and multiple smaller ones to surround the students. “Your precious students are within my range. And my y/n has made sure to keep your co-workers out of range.”
Just as he says that you make sure to use your cursed technique to raise a wall made of dirt from the ground to block the other teachers, and the other sorcerers from reaching the students.
“Well, everyone,” Suguru finally brings this all to an end as he grabs onto his bird. “See you on the battlefield.”
The bird closes its mouth, leaving you basked in darkness and your thoughts as it ascends and flies away.
——
*LATER*
“Suguru?” You call out and then slide the back door open to see Nanako standing behind him with his long and dark hair in one hand and a brush in the other. You see Mimiko sitting on the ground beside him, hugging her stuffed creature. Satori’s tiger curse is here of course and makes itself small as it lays under the chair, while Satori is, of course, snuggled against Suguru as they sit on a chair under the grand and naked Momiji tree.
“What does that word say?” You hear Satori ask.
You don’t want to interrupt the moment so you lean against the doorframe and watch the way Nanako brushes Suguru’s hair, the way Mimiko finds peace in her silence, and the sight of Suguru reading a book while Satori tries to read her own.
“Well,” Suguru says, and you watch him point to the page. “Can you try and pronounce it?”
Satori blinks and looks up at her father with a pointed look before she rebuttals. “Well no, silly, that’s why I asked.”
You hold back your laugh, and Suguru scoffs in slight disbelief but he can’t help but smile with amusement.
“Okay,” he breathes out before he helps her. “Well, it says, remember.”
“Oh,” Satori mumbles. “I knew that.”
“I know you did,” Suguru says with a stifled laugh.
You grin at the interaction, and then quickly pull your phone out to take a discreet photo of this adorable moment of Suguru with his girls. And after you take it you admire it with a soft smile as you affirm to yourself that one of your emotions that you know you didn’t feel when you saw your brother, was regret.
Moments like these are why you will never regret the choices you made and the path you followed. It’s all you wanted even when you didn’t even know you wanted it. So if it meant having to live without your brother for the rest of your life just to see sweet and tender moments like these then you’d take it. You don’t want to let go of this moment. Peace and a home is all you’ve ever wanted and you don’t want to let it go. Even if there’s an empty little gap, you could still live happily here in moments like these.
“Y/N?” Suguru breaks you from your stupor. “What are you doing over there? Why don’t you come and join us, Firefly.”
Okay, you can live without that name.
“I’m going to pretend you didn’t call me that,” you mumble as you walk over to them. “What are you reading?”
Suguru lifts his book to show you the cover before he responds. “Colors of a Mother, the book you told me about.”
You grin. “Really?” You ask as if he doesn’t read every book you recommend to him. “Do you like it?”
Suguru nods. “I do,” he says. “It’s a very good read…” he trails off and pushes himself up to give you his seat, but you shake your head.
“No, you can stay there I’ll sit on the ground with Mimiko,” you tell him and unfold his leg to sit on the ground between them. “What are you guys doing out here anyway?” You probe. “I was looking everywhere for you. Miguel and the others are on their way now.”
“Well the girls caught me brushing my hair so they asked if they could do it,” Suguru lets you know. “So we all came out. And Satori is doing her reading homework.”
“Yeah,” she grumbles. “But it’s too hard. Why can’t you just read to me instead.”
“Because I’m reading my book too,” he rebuttals. “You just have five pages left. You can do it.”
Satori sighs deeply and goes back to reading to herself. Suguru goes quiet as he returns to his book, and the twins don’t speak as they’re busy with what they’re doing, letting you lay your head back against the chair to smile softly at the blue sky.
You never let go of Suguru’s hand and he gave you all this; a nice and big house that you’re both comfortable in, he helped you start to build your sorcerer community, he gave you your daughters, a protective family, and he gave you peace and happiness. Most importantly he gave you hope that everything you wanted could be achieved, that there can be a better world.
The world and hope was so blurry before, but it’s so clear now thanks to him.
“Geto,” Nanako interjects softly. “Who’s Satoru Gojo anyway? He’s super strong right?”
Oh, but there’s still that situation of your brother…right.
“Hm,” Suguru agrees and goes quiet for a moment before he continues softly. “He was my best friend. But we fought and it’s been like this ever since.”
You need to ask Suguru how he felt after seeing Satoru after ten years. He can act nonchalant but you know there must’ve been some kind of emotion when he saw Satoru.
But when he asks you what will you say? Yeah, well nothing has changed. Which is true. You’re still angry. But…will this anger last forever? You couldn't help but think of that after you left the school.
You managed to be friends with Nanami even with your differences in morals, so can’t that be the same with Satoru? There has to be a point where your anger will slowly fade away won’t there?
“Daddy,” Satori interjects. “When will I get to meet Uncle Satoru?” She asks, making you drop your head and frown at the ground.
You owe it to her to try, don't you? To try and maybe see past that anger and animosity? Ever since she found out about him she’s been adamant on meeting him, Nanami’s and Suguru’s stories of their past only help to fuel her desire.
“Well,” Suguru answers softly. “I’ll be honest, I don’t know yet. Maybe soon, but I can’t promise you anything.”
Satori sighs. “But I want to see him,” she whines. “He’s mommy’s brother, right?”
“Yeah, but things are…complicated right now,” he tries his best to assure his daughter.
“What does that word even mean?” Satori asks in an annoyed voice. “Com—what is that?”
“Hard,” Suguru lets her know. “Things are hard right now.”
“Well,” Satori sasses him. “Make them easy.”
You snort softly and feel Suguru nudge your leg with his foot so you don’t encourage her behavior.
“It doesn’t work like that,” Nanako counters her sister.
“Well Daddy can do anything,” Satori argues. “So yes it does.”
“Not this time,” Suguru lets her know honestly. “Sorry, Chipmunk.”
Satori groans, and your smile falls as you think about that debate whether to look past your anger or not. Regardless of it all, Satoru is the only family member you have who is worth anything, that you actually want Satori to meet and interact with. Everyone else, well, they can all go to hell for all you care.
“Mommy!” Satori exclaims and suddenly wraps her arms around your neck as she rests her cheek on the top of your head, causing her loose strands of hair to fall on your face. “Why can’t you make things easy so I can see Uncle Satoru.”
You swallow thickly and try your best to avoid the complicated topic. “Because,” you mumble. “It’s not that easy. Life is,” you sigh. “Hard that way.”
You know she probably doesn’t truly understand, but you can’t find any other way to explain it but in that way. You don’t want to tell her why she hasn’t met her uncle, why you’ve held a grudge over him for ten years. No matter what, you won’t bad mouth your brother to your daughter.
“Well,” Satori adds. “Can you and Daddy try?” She asks.
You sigh and nod. “I will,” you assure her. “I’ll try.”
“Okay,” she whispers and pulls back to sit back against Suguru.
“Now,” you move and sit up straight. “Why don’t you come here so I can fix your buns.”
“Mhmm, no,” she flat-out says. “I want Daddy to do it, you always leave them funny.”
It’s not your fault she moves a lot.
“Satori,” Suguru scolds her softly. “That’s not very nice.”
Satori exhales deeply. “No, Mom, thank you,” she grumbles.
“That’s okay,” you assure her and can’t help but smile at her. “Anyway,” you roll out playfully and stand up to grab Suguru’s arm and pull it up so you can sit on his lap. He secures his hold right away by wrapping his arm around your waist.
“We should take a picture!” You suggest excitedly as you pull out your phone. “Nanako, Mimiko come here!”
Nanako lets go of Suguru’s hair and wraps her arm around Suguru and you as she rests her chin on his head and beams at the camera. Mimiko walks over and stands by her sister to lean forward and smile softly. Satori presses her cheek against Suguru’s, while he presses himself closer to you and smiles softly.
You grin at the camera and capture this sweet and tender moment of you and your family together.

A/N- Was Satori created just to be a piece of Suguru for Satoru, after Suguru’s death? Yes, yes she was.

Meeting the boys
Virgil Van Dijk x Reader
tw-none just fluff
You had met Virgil at a mutual friends birthday dinner. As someone who had been a Liverpool fan all your life you were very much in awe and intimidated by the Dutch centre back. Despite your initial fear of the man you both got on really well, bonding over your love of the support and your childhood club. You sat next to each other during the dinner and barely gave anyone else at the table the time of day, instead happy to just converse with each other.
As the meal came to an end, plates being taken away from the table and well wishes being given all around, you feared that this would be the end of whatever you had with Virgil. But much to your surprise as you both stood up to go your respective ways, Virgil stopped you with a hand to your elbow asking you if it would be possible to exchange numbers with you before you left.
That was six months ago and since that day you and Virgil had been all over each other, dates as often as you could fit them in, a drawer at his house for when you stay over and you had both met each other’s families after you had made it official with each other.
However, there were some people that were very important to Virgil who you had yet to meet, the rest of the Liverpool squad. You were arguably more terrified to meet them than you had been meeting his family.
Virgil had reassured you that you had nothing to worry about at all, the boys will love you because you make him happy and that’s all that really matters to them.
So with your shaking hands in your pockets, dressed completely head to toe in Liverpool merch that Virgil had insisted you wear, you made your way to training with your boyfriend, his hand squeezing yours every few minutes.
When you arrived at the training ground you steeled your nerves and climbed out of the car making sure you had your phone and bag. Virgil walked round to your side of the car taking your hand in his and placing a quick kiss to your forehead before murmuring to you, “I promise love its going to be fine.”
You knew it would be fine, it was just the initial meeting that you were worried about, wanting to make a good impression on the boys that Virgil loved dearly. You shot him a small smile, squeezing his hand in thanks and you both began walking to the entrance.
Virgil took you out into a bit where you could watch training and sat you with a few of the members of the media team who sat and spoke to you while you were waiting for the boys to come out.
After a few minutes they started to gradually come out into the training area and the media staff you were sat with got up to go and help filming content for the social media. You saw Virgil come out with some of the lads you recognise from the years of watching them, Trent Alexander Arnold, Andy Robbo and Virgil’s favourite person, Joel Matip.
Virgil looked over at you sending you a smile, and gesturing in your direction to the boys, who in turn looked over at you, sending you waves, and Robbo even go so far as to shout, “Hello Virg’s Missus”, causing more of the players to look over at where you were sat. A blush quickly rose to your cheeks, not being used to the attention and also a little starstruck that people you considered some of your idols were looking over at you in curiosity.
You look back over at Virgil who was clipping Robbo around the back of the head before looking at you and mouthing an apology on behalf of the Scotsman. You simply shook your head back at him, a smile gracing your features at the brotherly relationship the two of them shared.
Their attention was quickly drawn over to their coaches, explaining what they would be going through in training today.
You sat and watched Virgil as he trained, very much enjoying the way he looked as he did his exercises and drills with his teammates.
After a while you felt a presence sit next to you and you turned to see none other than THE Jurgen Klopp sat right next to you, grinning right at you as he stuck a hand out, “Y/N! What a pleasure to finally meet you, we have all heard so much about the beautiful girl that caught our Virgil’s heart!”
You were at a loss of words as you placed your hand in Jurgen’s, stuttering out, “it’s a pleasure to meet you sir, I’m a huge fan of yours.”
He simply chuckled at you before launching into the funny anecdote of the first time he had met Virgil and telling you how well suited he thought you two were. You both sat and chatted for a while, quickly getting over your nervousness when you realised how easy it was to talk to him.
He eventually got up, telling you that he’d better go do his job or he’d get sacked, causing a loud laugh to leave you.
The boys continued to train, you just sitting there and enjoying the view in front of you until a few lads came over to you.
“Hello Y/N! Its so nice to meet you! Virgil has said so much about you!”, Mo Salah said as he sat on your left.
“We’ve all been dyin to meet you”, Trent says placing himself on your other side, while a few others, Bobby Firmino, Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas stood in front of you.
Your jaw was literally on the floor.
You had no idea what to say, looking around at them all your mouth opening and shutting as you tried to figure out how to speak.
“What are you boys doing to my girl?” A low voice rumbled from behind you.
“Nothing!” Kostas exclaimed, “we’re just talking to her!”
“Well I think that’s enough talking for today, come on Y/N”, Virgil ushered you towards him. Words of protest were heard from the boys around you, exclamations of “We only just sat down” and “We wanna talk to Y/N, we will be nice promise!” we left unheard by Virgil as he pulled you towards him with a grin on his face.
You turned back towards the boys and sent them a small wave, they boys sending you smiles and waves in return and also telling you to come and visit them at training anytime.
Virgil took your hand and led you away but not before you bumped into Joel Matip and Andy Robertson, two of the guys Virgil spoke the most about when you were at home.
“Y/N hello! Its nice to finally meet you, Virgil’s been keepin you all to himself, eh?” Robbo says jokingly.
You grinned at him, not feeling as shy as you did with the others as you knew so much about him from Virgil, “Lovely to meet you Robbo”.
Andy pulled you into a hug before you were pulled into another by Joel who whispered in your ear, “He ever annoys you, you let me know, I’ll put him in his place.”
You laughed at him as you pulled away, gaining a strange look from Virgil, to which you patted his cheek and gave him a grin before replying to Joel, “I’ll let you know if I need your help.”
Joel let out a chuckle and you felt in that moment you had done well today despite your nervousness.
As you were walking away with an invitation to the next meet up, you realised you were happy that these were there person you shared Virgil with.

Y/N sighed, her hands resting on her desk as she sipped the warm tea, a soft knock sounded on the other side of the door, and as the door opened, a male stepped in.
“High Lady.” He bowed his head a little. “This appeared today, it’s for you.” He approached the table and left the letter on top of the papers that were scattered around.
“Thank you, Yur.” She said and the male just nodded, leaving her office. She reached for the letter, no name on it, but she opened the envelope, grabbing the paper inside.
“Dear Y/N!
It’s been a while since we saw each other, things have been great ever since our last encounter. Nyx is growing up so fast, it makes my heart ache with the change.
Nesta and Cassian are happily enjoying their mated life, training the priestesses and whoever wants to join them in combat.
Elain is out in Spring Court with Lucien, the two of them are doing a great job in rebuilding Spring alongside Tamlin, and slowly learning about their bond. Elain told me she plans to accept it soon.
We’ve been happy, and we miss you dearly, but I’m afraid things aren’t as good as we thought, as things with the Mortal Queens are still tense and a new threat looms in the dark.
Rhys doesn’t want to disturb, he says that you and Az need your peace, but I know he is distressed, that he hasn’t been sleeping, fearing that we’re forced to go to battle again.
From a High Lady to another, I beg for your help. We need to prepare for whatever is coming.
Love, Feyre!”
The words made her heart twist on her chest, what could it be now? She clenched her fists, the thought of another thing to disturb their well deserved peace made her blood boil.
She got up, going after her mate, the letter clutched in hands. She found him by the sparring ring, Eris was there, she had no idea they were even coming today. Eva quickly wrapped her from behind.
“I missed you baby.” She says and Y/N smiles at her.
“We missed you too.” She replies, still feeling tense. Azriel immediately turns to her, blocking Eris and striding towards his wife.
“Something wrong?” He asks, feeling her distress through the bond. His hand rested on her belly.
“They need us.” She said, letter in hand. Azriel quickly reads through it.
“I’m sorry but we can’t go.” He replies.
“Of course we can, I still can handle myself Az.” He rolled his eyes.
“You’re four months pregnant, woman.” He pointed and Y/N shrugged.
“I still beat your ass any time.” She argues. “I’m not dying Azriel, I can fight just as well as I could.” Azriel held his mate closer.
“Please, reconsider.” He pouted and she pinched his cheek.
“No! Now we need to get ready, all of us.” She looked around, Eva and Eris nodded but Azriel still didn’t want her risking her life.
“There’s nothing I can say to make you give up?” He begged.
“I never ran away from danger, and I certainly don’t plan to do it now.” She rubbed her belly.
“Okay, but if I feel like you’re in danger, no matter how small, I’m protecting you, and only you, you’re my priority.” He warned.
“Such a Mother Hen.” She joked, pulling her mate in for a kiss. “We will be safe Az, with you, we’re always safe.” She reassured him.
“I can’t say no to my mate.” He finally gave in. “I bet they will be quite shocked about you.” He pointed to the round belly forming.
“Let’s just say that I love to do a big entrance.”
