“What’s the catch?” Zander gives the other boy a strange look. Why would anyone want to clear his driveway for him, let alone care if the snow ended him up in the hospital? It had to be in exchange for something, and he wanted to know what it was that Caleb was after. “And don’t say there’s not one, there’s always a catch.”

“Keep your voice down, especially if you’re going to be asking dumb questions.” Zander hisses at Chelsea. Of course, the loudmouth had to have figured it out. That was just his luck. Still, as he rubs his forehead and questions how he had gotten into this predicament, he realizes it’s probably better to answer her questions so she wouldn’t repeat them. “Of course I do. The more your face is covered, the better chance you have to live a normal life where people don’t try to murder your friends and family. So, if you could do Balo a solid and whisper, I’d appreciate that.”
