Ace people making silly posts about how they didn’t get allos during the peak of ace discourse were not in fact being homophobic (especially not the teenagers). You try feeling alienated from every community and not making some jokes about how it’s actually everyone else who is weird

#we weren’t welcome in lgbt+ spaces and we certainly weren’t welcome in cishet spaces #and yes that applies to aces who were otherwise lgbt+ too #ace discourse #(I of course am not lgbt+ even though I am also aro because aromantic people don’t exist)#(that’s a joke based on something aphobes said to us)#(I believe in aromantic people because I am one)#also asserting only ace people were participating in the ‘uwu smol bean’ culture is kinda aphobic #I was reading a lot of grimdark fantasy at the time I certainly weren’t involved in that #and I’m sure plenty of allos were #because that has fucking nothing to do with your sexuality
