I was talking to my friend, who isn’t involved in any online fandom spaces, about the funniest things I’ve seen on tumblr about Cobra Kai this season, and I mentioned people wanting to know what the plane ride was like, specifically for Demetri and Eli.

And he literally rolls his eyes and goes, “What do you mean what was it like? You know as well as I do that they sat next to each other in silence, and Hawk did his little head tilt thing, and stared at him the whole time, like, ‘Demetri? Are you still mad at me? My eyes are so big, Demetri, please.’”

And I just can’t stop laughing that without fandom interference or a shippers gaze, that’s where he landed.
