The thing with DeMatties/Giffen JLI is that everytime I start to think I was too hard on it I get to another panel of Wally West or Guy Gardner sexually harrassing their coworkers
#Im mad because I was starting to think maybe I was being too hard on it the other day when#I was going through it for Dmitri and Nate panels and then I got to that joke thats just#Dmitri Is Staring At Powergirls Breasts#Like see my thing is still everybody says it was just the time but Ive read alot of 80s/90s comics and#Ive read alot of comics by DeMatties and some by Giffen!#Its never this bad in anything else they've written!#They were doing the sexist jokes because they thought they were funny. They werent#They are impossible to ignore. Can we stop pretending it wasnt a issue.#I am genuinely wondering if Giffen's recent passing is gonna make their run on JLI like even more of a Sacred Cow kind of thing or#if people are gonna start criticizing it a little more#Also I still think Guy/To/ra was bad I need to see more JL/I G//uy T/ora hatred they were not cute.
