I've recently gotten into Danganronpa and I love your blog so much. Your sense of humor is great and I really like your art. I've been wanting to be better at art and make actual fanart and comics that I can be proud of but digital art intimidates me and it feels like it wouldn't be the same on paper. I've never used like a drawing tablet or anything like that and I've heard it's hard to navigate (not to mention expensive) so I'm just scared I don't have the dedication for it and I'm gonna flop

second of all, dont be intimidated by digital art! its not exactly the same as drawing on paper, but the skills definitely transfer over! in my experience the drawing tablets ive had have been pretty easy-to-navigate and i get pretty cheap ones as well. the one i use right now is a gaomon pd1161 and its one of the cheaper ones for display tablets but it is still about $200. you can find much, much, cheaper non-display tablets though (i used one of those for a while) and honestly, when i was starting out, i just drew on my phone with a cheap stylus, and a lot of great artists ive seen literally just draw with their finger on a phone or ipad.

starting out with digital art can be a bit of a slow process but i don't think it's as scary or demanding as you're making it out to be. i believe in you anon 💪
