#I was also thinking about when the fight between Dogday and Catnap was supposed to happen

YIPPIE RAMBLE TIME :))

Tho uh heads up it’s going to be rambles about two ideas I have gotten for how Dogday lost his leg

I don’t have a clear idea yet and can’t decide on these two ideas so far and also I have sadly nothing for Catnap with his little accident at the moment, I'm sorry 😔

With that out of the way, ramble ideas under cut

Idea #1: So I imagine how Dogday lost his leg is from an accident (like I said) which happend when he helped some toys in the factory (this was like atleast over 6 years after the hour of joy)

this might change in the future but what have in mind so far now is that perhaps a heavy piece crashed down and Dogday barely was able to get out of the way

he was lucky to survive it and get out of the way in time but with the cost of his leg getting crushed

in the end I imagine he had to rip his leg off in order to free himself and end up needing some kind of pipe to use as a support to get somewhere where he can patch his leg

but that never happend because the room he was in end up being filled with the red smoke and he end up falling asleep

Catnap helped him in the end and he was the one giving him the prosthetic leg

Idea #2: This might change in the future but what I imagined so far is that perhaps like over 6 years after the hour of joy Dogday, Kickin and Hoppy were in the Playhouse helping some toys until those little Smiling Critters were starting to act aggressive and started to attack them

the little Smiling Critters end up starting to eat on Dogday's leg which made Dogday unable to run away

Hoppy and Kickin ran out of the Playhouse without helping Dogday and Dogday was left alone until the area he was in was filling up with the red smoke making him and the little Smiling Critters fall asleep

Catnap end up saving him and he was absolutely not happy with Hoppy and Kickin (neither was Dogday)

Of course I would start with Catnap and Dogday with redesigning the Smiling Critters (even if those are the bigger body versions lol)

So uh yeah I wanted to change Catnap's colours a little (his colours were a bit to dark for me but they might still be? I don’t know I might have failed lol) and randomly had the idea to give him four arms because why the fuck not. I also wanted to give him a bit more yellow in his design

And also the coloured eyes which led me to give Dogday two different coloured eyes (couldn't decide on blue or green so I gave him both :D)

What do you all think of their designs?

Will do their cartoon versions next (alongside with the other smiling critters)

I just wanted to start with their bigger body versions first
