Ok so-

A long time ago there was a very powerful witch that lived in a forest. This witch could turn into a cat, and there was a man in the nearest village that knew that, so everytime he saw them in cat form, he would play pranks into them. Like, throwing a cucumber to them and making them freak out.

So, one day, he throws a cucumber at them- and they have had enough. They try to throw a very powerful curse into the man:

“May your flesh rot everyday, may your blood slowly turn into nothingness, and more importantly: may you live until the end of humanity, or until you help me to destroy your kind.”

But. Remember the man was throwing a cucumber at them? They accidentally put the curse into the cucumber, and not the man.

After realizing they wasted such a powerful magic, they turn the cucumber sentient, and make it more human like, so it can be who will fight for them, to you know, not fully waste the curse

This is Etoiles curse, and how he was born: he is basically imortal, for he does not have flesh or blood. He only has a human appearance, but he is mostly a giant cucumber snapped like a human. He does not help the witch to bring the end of humanity, so he is mostly living everyday like a shonen anime (minus the weird romance stuff some animes have).

He can't eat food, for he is a sentient cucumber, but he does need a lot of water, and he is imortal until the end of humanity, as this was the only part of the curse the witch used that actually worked on him. The immortal cucumber warrior spent a looong life of fighting, protecting people, until he went to Quesadilla city, and well, he can't leave now! He is not able to- no one can leave quesadilla city, so I guess Etoiles has a new home now!
