Jeff is the type of guy to find stretch marks incredibly attractive

When you are cuddling, he runs his fingers across the marks

If he can, he will kiss them as well

Whenever he greets you, say, if he was coming home from a mission, he would kiss your lips, and run his ands across the areas your stretch marks are on

Finding out that you are insecure about your stretch marks genuinely shocks him

Personally, I feel like she'd be indifferent to your stretch marks

She's more of a personality person anyways, so she genuinly won't notice your insecurities unless you tell her about them

When you do tell her about them though, she will go out of her way to hype you up

He understands being insecure about them, as he is a very insecure person himself

And so, when you tell him about your insecurities he will comfort you in the way he likes to be comforted

He will hold you protectively, keeping his nose buried in your sweet smelling hair, and rubbing small circles around the marks

If you aren't in the mood to be held, he will lay on his stomach in between your legs, tracing the marks and counting them

Or if you just want to be distracted from your body, he will turn on some calm music, and ramble all his thoughts to you as you rub his head

Publicly he doesn't do much with your stretch marks

He doesn't want you to be embarrassed

If you want him to show more public affection to your marks, you'll have to tell him

He will oblige happily, of course

He will come up behind you, place his hands pn your hips and sway the both of you side to side, whispering into your ear how beautiful you are, how happy you make him, how much he loves you, etc

Tbh it was really hard writing Kakucho's reaction to Yua!!! Firstly, I didn't want him to recognise her immediately (and vice versa) because that's just not super realistic (they haven't seen each other in years after a 2-hour meeting, and people change in appearances) so I thought I'd make them think about each other and let them slowly remind themselves about them, kinda like a worm in the brain or a puzzle to solve. Secondly, I didn't want to write it too 'mushy' or 'romantically' or be too outright with them being smitten with each other lmao. So as you can imagine I rewrote SO MANY chunks of it 😅 I'M GLAD IT'S RECEIVED WELL!!

As for Yua's faceclaim:

I do have an idea about her appearance, but it's not based on any real person cuz it's hard for me to imagine a real face in scenes with anime/manga faces, y'know!! TBH I ACTUALLY sorta drew inspiration from Karen (as in Izana's fake mom) cuz I liked the cold, disinterested vibe in her scene at the pachinko parlour, which I think is what Yua has going on. 🤔

Jennie and IU are mega gorgeous omg!! But tbh, I think Jennie's look is too sultry for Yua, and IU is too 'sweet' for her hahaha BUT I have to say, I really liked the vibe of Han So Hee in the first episode of My Name for Yua! I don't envision Yua as looking like her, but it's pretty close in terms of, again, the 'cold' / 'disinterested' / 'weary' vibe. Here are some gifs for an idea! I just wanted to thank you for making the Growing Your Iceberg PDF available - I run a creative writing club at my local children's library, and we had so much fun with it this spring! Q: What were Soobin’s feeling when he was decided as the Leader of the team? SB: I felt a lot of pressure since it has been said that the character of a leader is to be following from behind rather than being in front. I had politely refused at first since it wasn’t the position for me. However, after a few talks with the company, I had thought that I might be a good leader and also seeing the people who give me cheers from behind

Q: Have Soobin’s personality changed after debuting? SB: I was so introverted and I couldn't say my words properly. I was like a loner that I avoid when someone comes to talk or to approach me and I was under a lot of stress. The members had helped me a lot. I got to know how to express my mind naturally and after those times, I had become very talkative

Q: Are you bothered of the real-time reactions and responses on charts regarding your debut album? Q: I have heard your choreography of the title song were only finished by two months, do you have an episode of that? SB: once I dance, I’ll be like completely discharged after I practice four to five times without taking a break because I sometimes thought that I should get used to this hard feeling. Now, we only dance/practice for like two to three times and it is really fine

Q: What is the most important thing every day? SB: After work, taking a shower with warm water is the healing time for me. This will a TMI…so I also take a shower for a long time and can be up to an hour. Q: We had heard you really like bread, what is most favorite of all the bread? SB: I really like blueberry whipped cream bread that a store sells it near our old practice room. But since now then we had moved, I can’t buy it again

“Huening Kai’s name means sea and victory. His Nickname is Ning Ning, Ning-gyi, Hungka and Hueningie. The first impression of him might be quiet, he has a character that has a sense of cheerfulness. Also as the youngest member of the team, he is loved by his team members.”

Q: How was the feeling when you debuted?

HK: The day when we wrapped our first stage, the members and I were exchanging a lot of comforting words and good words to each other. Like, we really worked hard and will work harder evermore. It seems to be still like a dream and has this burning feeling.

Q: We have heard you really are good at playing piano

HK: I had played the piano when I was 8 years old and still playing after today. I can skillfully play Jon Schmidt’s ‘All of Me’. If there’s a chance, I wanted to play piano also when we will have a concert.

Q: If you will be aired in the ‘Masked Singer’ (TV Show), what will you sing?

HK: I think ‘Give Love’ by Akdong Musician, this was also my audition song.

Q: Who is the musician that has influenced you the most and who was the musician you listen nowadays?

Bruno Mars. I really like his songs. Also, these days, I listen to Shawn Mendes. I like the way on he plays the guitar and also the way he sings.

Q: For being close to the members, what were the chances?

HK: Yes of course. When we are bored or have spare time, we usually play games and most likely, we play board games. And the one who will lose will somewhat eat Indian Bob. We also went to a water park back then last summer and we really enjoyed it.

Q: What was the most different thing between trainee years and now debuting?

HK: I think I have now a firm mind and became more mature. Also, my height grew a lot. I came from 168CM to 181CM.

Q: There are some saying that you can’t sleep without a doll

HK: That’s right. I feel like sleeping with a doll makes me comfortably sleep and makes me sleep soundly too.

Q: What do you want to achieve this year?

HK: The ‘Rookie of the Year’ award

Q: Why does title track of the album was named ‘Horns Grew in my head’: CROWN? HK: Horns represent pains and growing up. I first heard it and it was my favorite song out of the album. The lyrics also had a deep meaning and it was very catchy also.

“Yeonjun, the dancing machine that dances everywhere as he hears the music plays. He likes the blue and purple color and the peach scent. He has the nickname of ‘Yeong-Mok’ since he really likes to eat a lot and He is also the eldest of the group.”

Q: Why do you love dancing the most?

YJ: Back then when I was in middle school, I joined a dance club. When I was dancing on a school festival, I felt a lot of excitement and I think through that, I think I can now say that dancing is truly the path I have chosen and I will be for the rest of my life.

Q: Your favorite song is cat and dog, so what are you more about? A cat or a dog?

YJ: I think my personality is more like a dog but my face more looks like a cat

Q: Who is the member of the team that is cute as a puppy?

For me, It is Huening Kai! He is 18 and he is so sweet and an adorable person, you can see it on him. He is pretty pure and he is really lovely.

Q: Who are your favorite musicians?

YJ: My favorite musicians are Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar and Asap Rocky! I always wanted to go to Asap Rocky’s concert in Seoul but despite of having a tight schedule, I couldn’t attend and see his concert.

Q: We have heard that you are the first place in everything in your monthly evaluations during trainee days.

YJ: yes, I am also the first place on rap. Hip-hop is truly my favorite genre out of all genres and that is why I wanted to focus a lot to rap parts.

Q: What’s been the thing that had a lot of difference before and after you debuted?

YJ: I think when I had debuted, I had improved a lot. In my abilities, I think I improved a lot too and also my mind has changed. I have a young mind and I always complain about what I don't want to do or my dislikes. But now, I think I’ve grown and I can now hide those negative feelings. I feel like I’ve been matured.

Q: If you have free time, do you sometimes write rap lyrics? YJ: Yes I wrote some on my memo pad

Q: What have you been writing recently? YJ: I wrote lyrics about my mom driving a small car but if I’ll do well later on, I’ll change it to a nice car like Porsche.

Q: The members say that you are the most active member of the team?

YJ: Yes, I am really an active person

Q: Today when we were filming, you really naturally dance to the music played today

YJ: It seems like its been a natural thing to me when I dance if I heard music. I also automatically dance when music blasts on our practice room. I am active person too, and I felt a lot of excitement when I always hear music

Q: What is your most favorite part or the most highlighted part of the choreography in your title track CROWN?

YJ: I think the part on where we did the wave dance. I’ve never seen a choreography like a wave dance.

Q: Have you had a TMI that fans don’t know?

YJ: I have a birthmark (Mongolian) on my Pubic line and I had a big mole on the back of my hand

“Beomgyu is most known as the mood maker of the team. He came from Daegu and has still used his own dialect, and known of his personality as ‘Bright’. He likes the color white, the guitar sound, Cartoon ShinChan and the time from 2PM to 6PM. He is the type of person who raises up the mood of the team’s atmosphere.”

Q: What seems to be the hardest challenges?

BG: I can say being on stage and performing on stage. Having promoting our album in straight five weeks on music broadcasts, I want to change my gestures and even my facial expressions since the choreography is fixed. It seems to be the hardest challenge but at the same time, being on stage and performing on stage is really a happy feeling.

Q: What is most favorite track in your first album?

BG: My favorite track is Nap of a Star. If you have a guitar, you can play it and you can feel its relaxation and it is soothing throughout the whole song. I listen to it a lot mostly when I finished work or before going to bed. Through this song, I feel like I can remember all that I’ve been through and can explain my feelings all in all.

Q: What do you do and the members if you have a day-off?

BG: We go to PC Rooms and even went to Hongdae to buy clothes. Also, I want to go again to that Chicken Shop and have a picnic near the Han River when went there once.

Q: For you, who is the cutest in the world?

BG: My parrot Toto! He is in our home in Daegu. I kinda miss him and I want to see him soonest actually. TH: Back then when YouTube isn’t available, I used to look for video clips on Junior Naver and I clicked accidentally Shinee’s Music Video ‘Replay’ and I decided on becoming a singer. Especially seeing that Taemin’s Sunbaenmin dance part was really cool. 10 years ago, I remembered it very clearly.

Q: What was your topic of the three-year preparation period?

TH: I thought about a lot of what the meaning of ‘Cool’ is. Up until now, I haven't still had the answers very clearly yet I don’t want to take pictures cooly but I want to take them as a cool person. I think it is something that comes out naturally from its varieties commonly such gestures, facial expressions, even its depth of music, also the speech and its actions.

Q: Who was your favorite musician since you were a child?

TH: Justin Bieber, he is really cool. I also remembered when we were trainees, I sang Justin Bieber’s song ‘Boyfriend’ at the end of the month evaluations. I think I did well on stage by singing it ascending to the next level safely as well.

Q: How was the evaluation of your Vocal Performance?

TH: At first, I honestly became human. (Laughs) When I first started, I wondered how I got into the audition. I was a bit greedy and worked hard and also I became someone differently because of the help of many people. Also, these say, I often got compliments for having good emotional lines. It seems my vocal strengths would be in the slow, groovy, R&B Genre.

Q: Who was the mentor that talks a lot with you about music?

TH: Slow Rabbit (One of the producers under BigHit) and we compose songs through kakao talk. We have been talking a lot these days. Also, he asked me what kind of music I’ve been listening to. These days, I’ve been listening to Billy Eilish’s album and Crush’s Wonderlost. I really enjoyed listening to it a lot.

Q: You play the role of being the ‘Lovely’ of the team but instead of receiving those love, you are the one who is giving it to the members

TH: I think the first showcase, the first fansign, and the first win. Back then when having our first showcase, I remembered clearly that I was really nervous and my heart has almost to come out. Ooooh heck good question! It’s complicated enough that I have no idea whether I wanted to start this sentence with “it’s super super tough” or “it’s probably easier than someone new to it would think.”

The unfortunate thing is that like with all of these kinds of questions it does definitely come down to the dynamic of the two, particularly in love language. Some couples need a lot of attention from each other, some are okay with doing their own thing for a while and chatting/recapping with each other every once in a while, and some couples have a mix of the two that just need to establish compromises. As someone more in the lotsa-attention-very-good category, I’ll stick mostly to that.

There’s so so much to do, particular with the POWER OF TECHNOLOGY (gyy gyy gyy)!! Although not every couple’s gonna need a call on Skype/Discord/FT/phone/SC/oovoo/roblox/whatever every day, it’s important to know your partner and try your hardest to meet whatever it is they need. There are gonna come days that you’ll be too busy, but it’s always the thought that counts! 

Once you’re on-call (being able to see each other’s faces goes a long way!) you just need to bring your most authentic self. You don’t need to pressure yourself into making every moment perfect with the limited time you have, just make sure to appreciate every moment you have with your partner. Especially in a long distance relationship, it’s easy for people to become doubtful in themselves as a good partner, so be sure to make sure your partner knows how much they mean to you as often as possible. If you think it, say it! That also includes if you think there’s anything lacking from your relationship at the moment. If it’s something solvable, you can work to compromises together, and if it’s not something solvable in the moment, your partner can be their to comfortable you, relate to you, or both. Communication is the BIGGEST THING!

Creativity goes such a long way. Take cute pictures! Surprise them with new, fun, silly compliments! Introduce them to things online that you’re passionate about! Send over a care package with a whole bunch of goofy items and write a out a meaningful card! An ex of mine put together a stack of 40 or so post-it notes with sweet messages on them and I was able to use them and hang them up whenever I was feeling lonely, that helped a lot. Are you an artist? Try doing a sketch-a-day based on your feelings towards your partner for a while and send it over (bonus points if it’s on-paper, physical items are a big plus in long-distance). Set up movie-nights where you two clear your schedules and take turns choosing a surprise film to watch! 

There are so many options! Finding shared adventures (whether online together or something you two can both individually do at the same time out in the world) is a great component to staying close. Get to know what your partner responds best to, whether it be kind words, gifts, quality time, etc - and really hone in on what interests or talents you have to best express these things. It can be work constantly keeping up with new things, and both of you are going to have your own lives to deal with, but it’s important to have something of a shared foundation that you two can rely on come the downtime.

Of course nothing is going to replace the physical component of the relationship, which is important to plenty of people. The best you’re going to do there probably is be able to send over a cuddly gift to your partner for when they need hugs (big thumbs up), communicate and relate in any physical loneliness, and be very soft and verbal about your wants. There’s the non-PG layer too but I’ll let someone else handle that. Just, ya’know, be on the same note as each other with intentions.

I’m glad the question is framed in regards to showing your love because it goes such a long way when you give it the time (with note of how much free time you have available in the first place). It’s not easy to constantly show it, nothing’s easy in long-distance. But if you two put in enough and nothing changes as you two live your lives and adventure, it WILL work. That’s the important part, you need to trust that. And while you’re making sure your partner’s happy, make sure that you’re happy. It’s a two-way street, pal.

I had written a blog before midnight, yesterday, and thought I could sleep early. But I had to write another blog in the morning before going to sleep.

Then woke up at 11 with a 6 hours sleep, which is not enough for me, then felt exhausted for the rest of the day. Also visited hospital, which made me even more tired. The hospital has mixed vibes. Positive as well as negative. Have to visit again tomorrow for a test, hope everything goes fine.

Then played some badminton in the evening, but the best part of the day was the prank. Actually we were trying an unknown number prank on Goli.

I had bought a new number yesterday and wanted to share it with her. But an idea came to my mind to not directly do this. I texted her with a fake id on WhatsApp. I pretended myself as a schoolmate of her and told to Muskan about this. Aur bhai kya saath dia h Muskan ne. Shabbashhh👏💕

We were almost caught two or three times. I accidentally sent a screenshot to her, which was to be sent to Muskan. But I managed somehow.

She also blocked me, I mean that fake id, who was given the name, Ayush Singh. But I convinced her through the real Id to unblock that one.

But ultimately we were successful in the plan. Later I stopped messaging her with the fake id so that she won't get disturbed a lot, and asked her to sleep and don't worry about him (who was actually me).

We were planning to extend it, but I was feeling so bad about her. Also Rajesh was known to all this and was with us in the prank.

In the evening, I realised that we should stop it, but we had already planned to do this for another day.

New Things I’ve Learned About Google Review Likes

Last time I counted, there were upwards of 35 components to a single Google Business Profile (GBP). Hotel panels, in and of themselves, are enough to make one squeal, but even on a more “typical” GPB, it’s easy to overlook some low-lying features. Often, you may simply ignore them until life makes you engage.

A few weeks ago, a local SEO came to me with a curious real-life anecdote, in which a client was pressuring the agency to have all their staff hit the “like” button on all of the brand’s positive Google reviews. Presumably, the client felt this would help their business in some manner. More on the nitty-gritty of this scenario later, but at first, it made me face that I’d set this whole GBP feature to one side of my brain as not terribly important.

Fast forward a bit, and I’ve now spent a couple of days looking more closely at the review like button, its uses, abuses, and industry opinions about it. I’ve done a very small study, conducted a poll, and spoken to three different Google reps. Now, I’m ready to share what I’ve learned with you.

Wait, what is the “like” button?

Crash course: Rolled out in 2016, this simple function allows anyone logged into a Google account to thumbs-up any review they like. There is no opposite thumbs-down function. From the same account, you can only thumb up a single review once. Hitting the button twice simply reverses the “liking” action. Google doesn’t prevent anyone from hitting the button, including owners of the business being reviewed.

At a glance, do Google review likes influence anything?

My teammate, Kameron Jenkins, and I plugged 20 totally random local businesses into a spreadsheet, with 60 total reviews being highlighted on the front interface of the GBP. Google highlights just three reviews on the GBP and I wanted to know two things:

How many businesses out of twenty had a liked review anywhere in their corpus

Did the presence of likes appear to be impacting which reviews Google was highlighting on the front of the GBP?

The study was very small, and should certainly be expanded on, but here’s what I saw:

60 percent of the brands had earned at least one like somewhere in their review corpus.

15 percent of the time, Google highlighted only reviews with zero likes, even when a business had liked reviews elsewhere in its corpus. But, 85 percent of the time, if a business had some likes, at least one liked review was making it to the front of the GBP.

At a glance, I’d say it looks like a brand’s liked reviews may have an advantage when it comes to which sentiment Google highlights. This can be either a positive or negative scenario, depending on whether the reviews that get thumbed up on your listing are your positive or negative reviews.

And that leads us to…

Google’s guidelines for the use of the review likes function

But don’t get too excited, because it turns out, no such guidelines exist. Though it’s been three years since Google debuted this potentially-influential feature, I’ve confirmed with them that nothing has actually been published about what you should and shouldn’t do with this capability. If that seems like an open invitation to spam, I hear you!

So, since there were no official rules, I had to hunt for the next best thing. I was thinking about that SEO agency with the client wanting to pay them to thumb up reviews when I decided to take a Twitter poll. I asked my followers:

Unsurprisingly, given the lack of guidelines, 15 percent of 111 respondents had no idea whether it would be fishy to employ staff or markers to thumb up brand reviews. The dominant 53 percent felt it would be totally fine, but a staunch 32 percent called it spam. The latter group added additional thoughts like these:

After polling the industry, I contacted three forms of Google support: phone, chat, and Twitter. If you found it curious that SEOs might disagree about whether or not paying for review likes is spam, I’m sorry to tell you that Google’s own staff doesn’t have brand-wide consensus on this either. In three parts:

1. The Google phone rep was initially unfamiliar with what the like button is. I explained it to her. First, I asked if it was okay for the business owner to hit the like button on the brand’s reviews, she confirmed that it’s fine to do that. This didn’t surprise me. But, when I asked the question about paying people to take such actions, she replied (I paraphrase):

“If a review is being liked by people apart from the owner, it’s not considered as spam.”

“What if the business owner is paying people, like staff or marketers, to like their reviews,” I asked.

“No, it’s not considered spam.”

“Not even then?”

“No,” she said.

2. Next, here’s a screenshot of my chat with a Google rep:

The final response actually amused me (i.e. yeah, go ahead and do that if you want to, but I wouldn’t do it if I were you).

3. Finally, I spoke with Google’s Twitter support, which I always find helpful:

To sum up, we had one Google rep tell is it would be fine and dandy to pay people to thumb up reviews (uh-oh!), but the other two warned against doing this. We’ll go with majority rule here and try to cobble together our own guidelines, in the absence of public ones.

My guidelines for use of the review likes function

Going forward with what we’ve learned, here’s what I would recommend:

As a business owner, if you receive a review you appreciate, definitely go ahead and thumb it up. It may have some influence on what makes it to the highly-visible “front” of your Google Business Profile, and, even if not, it’s a way of saying “thank you” to the customer when you’re also writing your owner response. So, a nice review comes in, respond with thanks and hit the like button. End of story.

Don’t tell anyone in your employ to thumb up your brand’s reviews. That means staff, marketers, and dependents to whom you pay allowance. Two-thirds of Google reps agree this would be spam, and 32 percent of respondents to my poll got it right about this. Buying likes is almost as sad a strategy as buying reviews. You could get caught and damage the very reputation you are hoping to build. It’s just not worth the risk.

While we’re on the subject, avoid the temptation to thumbs-up your competitors’ negative reviews in hopes of getting them to surface on GBPs. Let’s just not go there. I didn’t ask Google specifically about this, but can’t you just see some unscrupulous party deciding this is clever?

If you suspect someone is artificially inflating review likes on positive or negative reviews, the Twitter Google rep suggests flagging the review. So, this is a step you can take, though my confidence in Google taking action on such measures is not high. But, you could try.

How big of a priority should review likes be for local brands?

In the grand scheme of things, I’d put this low on the scale of local search marketing initiatives. As I mentioned, I’d given only a passing glance at this function over the past few years until I was confronted with the fact that people were trying to spam their way to purchased glory with it.

If reputation is a major focus for your brand (and it should be!) I’d invest more resources into creating excellent in-store experiences, review acquisition and management, and sentiment analysis than I would in worrying too much about those little thumbs. But, if you have some time to spare on a deep rep dive, it could be interesting to see if you can analyze why some types of your brand’s reviews get likes and if there’s anything you can do to build on that. I can also see showing positive reviewers that you reward their nice feedback with likes, if for no other reason than a sign of engagement.
