Oh damn I was about to buy something from Sephora and it turns out they locked my account for “security reasons”… and after calling customer service it will take 7-10 business days for them to decide if I can have my account back. Lol it’s very frustrating bc I have so many beauty insider points and the thing I wanted will no longer be on sale in 7-10 business days. And they’ve been letting me use my account to browse and look at shit for months without telling me until I tried to buy something. But it’s FINE because it’s money I don’t need to spend on things I don’t need anyways, but it’s still annoying!!

what is your skincare routine 🥺 plus imagine doing face masks with ur hq boy 😩😩 pleeaaaaaaseeee manifest
my routine is just a bunch of serums + moisturizer topped off with an obsession with cosrx :^)
here’s some of my personal h/c’s about their routine and how u fit in 💖
Tumblr media
kuroo overexfoliated when he was 16 and that’s when he decided to get into skincare 🤡 but you’re really the one who ties it all together and finishes it 😤 has a bunch of blackheads and is hesitant about using acids but trusts you when you rec a bha (salicylic) and to his surprise it works!! you teach other about ingredients and formulations (more teaching on your end since he’s such an overachiever and is in a million different things) but his skin really goes 🌺🌺 when he’s got a routine down.
another amazing boyfriend to do self-care days with because he needs them so much 😭💞 spends the whole day by your side at home doing whatever whenever and holding your hand the whole way through 💖 does the spoon in the fridge technique to depuff his eyes after a late night and always sends u morning selfies with them on his face all “Good morning my Fated One 🥄👄🥄” 💀💀💀
bokuto already has a skincare routine kudos of his sisters when you start dating and only gets back into doing it regularly when he learns you like doing it too 💕 he wants to spend more time with you as if he isn’t already glued to your hip 😭🤚💗💗
but he slaps his face really hard like really hard 😵 you have to teach him to gently dab and work the product into the skin but he sits like a good boy on the edge of the tub and closes his eyes for you 💛💛 keeps his hands on your hips too ☺️ gets acne here and there and sticks on the pimple patches you give him while telling you “y'know, babe, since you gave these to me, it’s like ur kissing me all night long!!! 🥺🥰😚💕” kiss him now pls
akaashi looks like he has his life together but his skincare routine is 😬 uses bar soap and the same anti-aging face lotion as his mom but his skin is 🌹🌸🌺✨he’s skeptical when he tries out new products but he comes around pretty quickly when he notices how less fatigued he looks 💀
he loves doing masks with you and likes to do one in the morning and one at night because you’ve got him hooked now 😤 he’s so dewy oh my god man is literally gleaming like a diamond 💎✨what have u done….. i bet he has a gua sha and rolls your face for you too 🥺 he’s so gentle omg stop…. looks at u with the softest look in his eyes when you giggle at how funny the sheet masks make the two of you look 💞❤️💕💓💝
oikawa while it’s universally thought in fanon that oikawa is a skincare junkie, i’d say that he’s more so really picky and meticulous. he has specific steps he follows to the t and knows how and when to bring in a new product for any seasonal weather and other changes in his skin. he’s not necessarily going to try your products unless he’s convinced they’ll work for him (everyone’s different after all), but he’s definitely open to you trying his and sharing what you both know 😤💗💗
easily one of the best boyfriends to have self care days with: nails, hair, face, online shopping, you name it, he’ll do it with you 🥰💄💅 i think he hates hyaluronic acid and avoids it like the plague lmfao one of his favourite ways to pass the evenings is the two of you together gossiping with your masks on and eating snacks 🌹🥰🥰🌹
iwaizumi lmfao this mf’er is sooo handsome 🥵 so i say oily skin that’s prone to breakouts 😇 yeah i think iwa struggles with acne and his scars, but he gets lucky that he grows out it by third/fourth year university 😘 uses a basic cleanser marketed towards acne 🤢🤢 and some moisturizer🧴he doesn’t trust oikawa with skincare recommendations because one of the product he gave him had glycolic acid in it and iwa’s skin said 👹
he’s reluctant but lets you help him with his skin and it makes a notable improvement throughout your relationship 👍✨gets heart palpitations when you grab his face and kiss him all over 💘💘 and genuinely thinks you’re one of the best thing to have happened to him when you coo “so handsome hajime 💕” yeah i just think he’s a sucker for you saying his first name lmao
matsukawa he has pretty decent skin, maybe a bit oily and will get spots here and there but overall puberty said nah this one’s cool 😎👍 so he comes in with very basic knowledge about skincare. though bless his heart, he tries out a bunch of stuff with you and is always open to doing masks and trying out new products with you 🥺💖
his skin is pretty resilient so watch him go 😨🤭 when you breakout and he doesn’t jgjebnfkwzl he kisses ur acne scars and spots tho so dw he madly in love ok? 😘🥰❤️ once he starts seeing the changes, he keeps up with the routine you made together for him but he likes to beg for you to do it for him “aw, c’mon babe don’t u want your hands all over this? 😩🤚💕💓💦” i hate him
hanamaki he has a mini routine and knows the general steps from his older sister and because i firmly believe he has dry, sensitive skin. he avoids fragrances, alcohols and all the sulphates and parabens but weirdly his skin is okay with silicones. anyways, he’s the one that introduces you to these amazing korean face masks and now you’re both hooked, spending weekends and days off at his house walking around with ur masks on all 💓👽👽💓
a little bit harder to work with in terms of exploration with your products but he finds his cheeks pinking 💖 and heart beating a little harder 🥰 when you go out of your way to find products that fit his criteria and gets rlly sappy when you start using them too 😭💓💕 he buys the bigger bottles for himself and small bottles for u because he’s whipped (and funny) that way 😐💖
kita looks like he and his grandma would some diy face masks together 🥰❤️ he’s got a basic cleanser and moisturizer but doesn’t do much else. spends a lot of time learning about the products and right steps so he can be a useful partner when you go shopping together 🥺💘💞
he comes to love oils, especially squalane and rosehip seed oil. also becomes a vitamin c junkie 😤 he’s a stickler for patch-testing and comes to really enjoy the whole skincare process in the morning and evenings as his own me time. really appreciates and thanks you for sharing this part of your daily life with him 🥺💘💞💞💖 invites you over to do masks with his grandma 😘
atsumu yeah he gets his beautiful skin from his mom and literally everything else because his mom is 🌸✨in both personality and looks. exfoliates three to four times a week and still looks amazing so you really have to wonder what his skin is doing and what yours isn’t 😔
when he finds the products that work™️ for him (kudos to you), he genuinely cannot stop admiring the shine of his skin after someone points it out he’s all 👁👃👁✨ and calls you up “babe ‘m beautiful did’ja know look at me look” 😐 likes to do skincare routines together but rushes through his so that he can do other stuff with you 😭💗💖💕 hates it when you push him away and don’t let him kiss you while your products are settling 🥺☹️💔
osamu my guy here is also blessed with naturally occurring bacteria that gives him beautiful skin like life rlly isn’t fair 😟😟 he doesn’t know much but lets you do whatever and loves loves loves it when you put all the products on him 🥺❤️ sits down between your legs all 💗🐶💗 prefers mud masks over sheet ones and likes to smear yours on for u 🥰
he comes to love skincare, not as much as you but enjoys how his face feels after he’s all moisturized and such. though he never remembers sunscreen so please carry some with you 😭 he buys you snacks and sneaks kisses while u wait for your products to settle on ur face 💖💖 uses a jade roller in the mornings as he checks his phone because it feels nice 👍✨✨
suna sensitive skin but relatively normal in terms of oiliness. ik he steals his younger sister’s products if they’re close in age 💀 he has very little idea how to get started so when he jumps in and tries one of yours he breaks out really bad and curses you lmfaoooo 👿👿👹🤡
ok but once he gets a decent routine in, he does his best to keep up with it and it helps!! his skin feels less tight and more supple so he might love you a little more for that 🤚💖 he prefers sheet masks and lets you clip his curtain bangs to the side✨ also looks like the kinda guy who likes to sit on the balcony/patio with his mask on and soak up the sun in the mornings after you both have your sunscreen on 🌼🌼
ushijima his skin is dehydrated but he doesn’t know it, has accepted the oiliness of his skin as a symptom of his athletics 😔 he’s got a bunch of expensive luxury products given to him by his mom and she’s told him to use them but he doesn’t know what the right order is so he puts on an occlusive first before anything else 😭😭😭
genuinely appreciates you so much when you take the time to teach him about everything and even asks if you could give him some notes so that he can refer to them when you’re not by his side 🥺💗💕💖 joins you in your product endeavours and gives you succinct but helpful feedback on what he likes and doesn’t like 😤 likes to hold you while u do masks together 🌼 and rests his head on urs 😭🌸💕
tendou uses whatever he’s got at home and what his mom gets him 🤷‍♀️ spots here and there but otherwise pretty clear skin. he’s open to trying anything and everything with you because he’s just really happy to spend time with you 🥰💞💞
sits really close to you and let’s you have free reign of his face when you sleep over at his place!! he giggles a lot because it tickles but never asks you to stop 🥺💜 thanks you for helping him and making him look so pretty 🌷✨looks like he’d be allergic to propolis/honey-based ingredients...
semi handsome man…. another one that looks dehydrated to me but he’s trying just please help him 😭🤚 he’s too nervous to go skincare shopping on his own because of the sheer amount of selection available 😢 tags along with you like a little puppy when you go with him 🐶💘
i feel like he has closed comedones 🤔 he tries out your retinol and keeps up with it when you told him some people got rid of theirs using it and…… it worked 😳🌟✨ thinks you’re a skincare goddess now lmfao 😤👊 when girls in university ask him about his skin, he just calls you and puts you on speaker because “my baby worked rlly hard so she should get all the credit” 😭💖💖
sakusa i think rosacea but also wealthy parents who had access to numerous dermatologists who nipped it in the bud as soon as they saw it 🤑 anyways he’s got near perfect skin lol goes through periods of dryness and keeps a strict regimen of products 👌🌟 swears by aloe vera and keeps some with him at all times 💗
though i do think you gently push him to introduce serums and essences into his routine (which is basic, but covers all his bases). you let him experiment and he finds one from cosrx that he considers a holy grail 😳 he likes doing ur skincare routine for you and you sit on the toilet seat and grin up at him 🥰 he blushes but doesn’t look away and might or might not admit he loves to be in such close contact with you 💘💘
hoshiumi kinda brutal with the way he goes about it; it looks like he’s beating the product in 💀👊👊 uses bar soap on both his face and body and wonders why his skin is dry and tight after showers “what? doesn’t that mean you didn’t clean all the gross oil off?” 😶😐😑 u gotta start from scratch with this guy 🤐
he pays attention to you but also doesn’t and finds it a bit of a hassle to go through five different products so he settles for a really basic routine 🥱 has one really fancy bottle of serum he takes with him to games and such and goes “my girlfriend gave it to me what don’t you have something like this 🤔” before putting it on if anyone asks 💀🤚💗 a full on chad 💪
hirugami he definitely has a skincare routine…. handsome 🤤 though i think he dislikes the feeling of sheet masks on his face; they feel too goopy and he doesn’t like how slimey they are. he prefers just using a short list of serums to keep his skin healthy and plump 💖✨likes hypoallergenic and fragrance-free products 👌
had acne back in middle school and a bit in first year. feel like he goes through a flare up in third year 😇🙃 anyways he likes standing next to u in the washroom doing ur routines side by side 🥰 wears those fluffy animal ear headbands with you and puts on your lip balm for you 💓💓 his dog came up and licked u across the face one time 😭 he almost choked with how hard he was laughing at u 😔 but he helped u redo it 😭💝

A few hours passed before Charlie heard the door unlock. He tore his eyes away from the ceiling and let them drift toward the door. Basil's small frame slipped in, carrying three plastic bags.
"Basil? I was almost positive that you were dead," Charlie said as he sat up.
"N-No, I was just reassigned here," he replied, setting the bags down on the desk.
"Where is here?" Charlie asked.
"I can't say, I'm sorry. I have to go," Basil replied, quickly exiting the room.
Charlie scratched his head as he moved to inspect the bags. Inside one was a meal, another had a few essential items, and the last one had a set of clothes. Charlie ate the meal ravenously before organizing the rest of the items. Not long after, the door opened, and none other than Mallory entered the room.
"Where's my team?" Charlie demanded.
"Hello to you, too. They're just fine. In fact, they're in the rooms on either side of you," Mallory said, straightening his sleeves.
"Where are we?
"America. This is my new compound, provided to me by your lovely government. We're calling it Site Bravo," Mallory answered.
Charlie twisted back to face the desk, placing his elbows on it to rest his head. Mallory approached him and placed his hand on the back of his head, causing him to flinch.
"Don't worry, love. Things are how they should be again. Although, I will admit, it was fun seeing what it's like in your position for once."
"How did they even know where to find us?"
Mallory tapped on his collar. Charlie sighed heavily into his hands. He hadn't even considered the fact that there might be a tracker inside of it.
"I'm moving the majority of my operation here. It's a much more advanced facility, and that means our research should increase tenfold."
"And I'm assuming you plan to test your stupid fucking research on us indefinitely."
Mallory sat down on the edge of the bed.
"We're expanding our testing. Right now, we have Q-179, T-77, also known as the truth serum, and C-282, the control serum. There's two new ones in the works right now, and the next one should be finished by next week. I have some good news for you, though. They no longer expect me to eliminate you. They're happy allowing me to keep you as healthy test subjects."
"Is that still all I am to you, a test subject? What you've done to me- to us, is beyond what could possibly be needed for your tests. You're obsessed with me. I'm absolutely more to you than a fucking test subject."
"Do you really care that much about what I think of you? It sounds like you're the one obsessed with me."
Charlie put his head down. He sighed deeply against the cedar desk. Mallory was next to him again, running his fingers through Charlie's messy hair.
"Come on," he said quietly, "I've got a welcome back present for you and your friends."
Charlie's blood ran cold. He moved robotically, as if someone else was in control of his actions. He followed Mallory down the narrow hallway and out a set of doors. They entered a large empty room with high ceilings, about the size of a basketball court.
"This will eventually be an indoor shooting range, but for now, we'll use it for this," Mallory said.
Soon after, the others were filed into the room, only restrained mentally by the rifles the soldiers held. They stood in a line against one wall. Charlie brushed his hand against Ethan's to acknowledge him. Another solider entered the room, holding a plate of cookies. The team exchanged confused glances as they were each passed a cookie.
"A welcome back gift," Mallory said. He took a cookie himself, and that lowered their suspicions.
"This is pretty good," Adrian said, mouth full.
"I only hire competent cooks," Mallory said. He noticed Crow wasn't eating the cookie.
"Don't worry, they aren't poisoned or anything. See?" He said, taking another bite of his own.
Crow finally ate his, and once everyone had finished, someone they hadn't seen before entered the room, rolling a cart with drawers. He wore a black bandana on the bottom half of his face. He nodded to Mallory before quickly exiting the room.
"So, now that I have you all here, I have to ask- how did you find Charlie and I?" He asked.
"The metadata from the video you sent," Adrian spoke. His eyes went wide, and he began looking around frantically.
"Ah, I see," Mallory sighed, "Didn't think about that."
"Adrian, what the fuck?" Crow hissed at him in a hushed tone.
"I didn't say that!" Adrian yelled.
Charlie froze once he realized what was happening.
"You put truth serum in the cookies," he said.
"No, just one of them," Mallory replied.
"You bastard," Crow spat.
"Shut it," Mallory hissed.
Crow opened his mouth to speak again, but the way the color drained from his face indicated that he couldn't. Charlie and Mallory realized it at the same time.
"Oh, excellent. You got the control serum biscuit," Mallory said.
"No," Adrian growled. Crow moved toward Mallory, but stopped in his tracks when ordered to.
Mallory clicked his tongue as he smirked. His eyes darkened, and Charlie clenched his jaw.
"First off, Crow, not a word unless directed. You and you, restrain Rex and Adrian," Mallory ordered to his soldiers.
"It's Deke," he spat. One of the men forced his arms behind his back and secured them with handcuffs before kicking his legs. Deke snarled as he dropped to his knees, his dog tags clinking together. Adrian put up a fight, managing to land a punch to one of them before another stepped in and got him on the ground and in cuffs.
Mallory opened one of the drawers on the cart and pulled out a bottle of pills will no label.
"Crow, make Charlie take this," he ordered. Crow walked over to him, and Mallory dropped one of the beige tablets in his hand.
"What is it?" Charlie questioned.
"Don't know. Can't be good if it was in this drawer," Mallory replied.
Crow approached him slowly. Charlie's back was already pressed against the wall.
"I'm not taking it," Charlie said, speaking to Mallory, but looking at Crow.
"Too bad. Do anything to get it down his throat, Crow," Mallory said.
Crow tapped on his jaw, and Charlie shook his head. He gritted his teeth. Crow eyes were filled with sorrow as he gripped Charlie's jaw in an attempt to force it open. He turned his head away and tried to move, but Crow pinned him with one hand on his chest.
"Stop this! This is insane!" Deke yelled. He was met with a blow to his shoulder with the butt of a rifle.
"Maybe he'll open his mouth if you pinch his nose," Mallory suggested.
Charlie struggled and squeezed his eyes shut right as Crow gripped his nose, cutting off his air. He could only hold his breath for thirty seconds before his mouth dropped open. He gasped for air as Crow shoved the pill to the back of his mouth, then covered it with his hand. Charlie had no choice but to swallow.
"Well done," Mallory spoke, "It was just a vitamin, by the way."
"You motherfucker!" Charlie yelled, pushing past Crow.
"Grab him," Mallory said quickly. Crow took Charlie's arms and held them behind his back.
Adrian began struggling against the soldiers' hold.
"Get him out of here," Mallory hissed. They picked Adrian up and dragged him out of the room as he began to yell numerous threats.
"Such a waste. Oh, well. I didn't really have anything for him to confess to, anyway."
Charlie was attempting to rip his arms out of Crow's grasp. Mallory watched in amusement.
"This is ridiculous," Ethan spoke.
"Oh, really? Come here," Mallory responded.
"Don't fucking touch him," Charlie spat.
Ethan approached him slowly, and Charlie could see that his hands were shaking. Mallory pulled him toward him and whispered something in his ear. Ethan pulled back, eyes wide. Suddenly, Mallory reeled back his fist and hit him square in the face, knocking him down instantly. Deke and Charlie began to yell as Ethan hit the ground, blood escaping from his nose.
"Take him to the infirmary. Fuck it, get Rex out of here, too. I don't need any more distractions," Mallory said.
Deke kicked and threw himself at the soldiers, but stopped when the barrel of a rifle was in his face. They shoved him out the door before dragging Ethan out after him. The three of them were alone.
"Soon, you'll all learn that you're not going to get away with those kinds of things," Mallory said.
"Fuck you. What the fuck did you say to him?!" Charlie yelled, his hands balling into fists.
"Nothing. I suggest you shut up before you're met with the same fate."
"Do it, you coward!"
"Hm, no. That'd be too generous."
Mallory set his phone on the cart, open to the app that controlled the collar. He didn't press anything, and Charlie knew it was a warning. He stopped struggling, and Crow loosened his grip. Crow moved away when Mallory motioned for him to. Mallory gripped his shirt to pull him down, then whispered something.
"What's with all the secrecy?" Charlie questioned.
Crow turned and approached him slowly. His face was turning pink, and Charlie backed away until he hit the wall again.
Crow stopped directly in front of him and looked him in the eyes. Charlie gasped when he felt him rest his hand between his legs.
"Wh... what are you doing?" He breathed. He gripped Crow's arm as he started rubbing his hand against him.
"St-Stop," Charlie stammered. His heart was racing, and he could feel that Crow's was, too, from the pulse in his wrist.
"God, Charlie. You're such a whore. You're not even trying to make him stop," Mallory teased. Charlie broke out of his daze and moved Crow's hand away. Mallory laughed.
"What, you don't like him touching you like that?"
"No... I-I mean, not while he's... not acting on his own free will," Charlie said.
"I've read the rest of his journal. Trust me, he wants to. Go on, Crow."
He moved his hand back, despite Charlie's hold on his wrist. Charlie slowly released his grip as he rubbed him and moved his hand slowly up his tatted arm. He hadn't realized that his eyes were closed until he felt Crow's other hand tangle in his hair. He could feel his blush as he began to get hard, and found himself pushing against Crow's hand.
Crow suddenly tensed, and Charlie opened his eyes to see Mallory had stuck a syringe in his neck.
"What the fu-"
"Shh. It's just a reversal," Mallory said.
After thirty seconds or so, Crow relaxed.
"Come on," Mallory said.
They followed him out of the room. Charlie felt the hairs on his neck and arms stand up. They ended up at his room. Mallory opened the door, motioned for them to go inside, and shut the door. They stood awkwardly as they listened to Mallory walk down the hallway.
"Um, hi," Crow finally spoke.
"Hi," Charlie laughed.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Are you?"
"I'm fine."
"Okay."
"So-"
Charlie gripped the front of his shirt and pulled him down to him.
"Charlie?"
He reached for Crow's hand without breaking his gaze. He slowly moved it back between his legs as he bit his lip. Crow leaned down and placed a soft kiss on his lips. Charlie wrapped his arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He kissed him again, this time with more force.
Crow picked up him, and Charlie wrapped his legs around his hips. They grinded into each other as their kisses became sloppier; their tongues becoming entangled. Charlie moaned softly as he ran his fingers through Crow's hair. Crow pulled away and started kissing along his jaw.
"Wish this fucking collar wasn't on," he growled.
Like magic, the collar popped open. Charlie pulled it from his neck and tossed it away.
"Room's fucking bugged," Crow said.
"I don't care," Charlie breathed.
Crow kissed his neck and bit it gently. Charlie leaned his head back against the wall as small moans escaped his lips.
Crow moved him over to the bed, and continued to kiss his neck as he lied him down.
"Fuck me," Charlie moaned.
Crow straightened up and slid his pants from his hips. He gripped the top of Charlie's shorts and pulled them off, along with his boxers, in one movement.
"There's... there's lube on the desk," Charlie said, "I don't know why, but it's there."
Crow swiped the bottle from the desktop and flipped open the top. Charlie watched in a daze as he let it drip down onto his cock. He put a bit on his fingers and rubbed them over his hole.
"Fuck," Charlie breathed.
Crow leaned over him and guided himself in with one hand. They moaned in unison as he entered, and Charlie pulled him down to kiss him again.
Crow rocked his hips slowly at first, steadily increasing in pace. Charlie gripped his own cock and stroked himself
"You're so fucking tight," Crow murmured in his ear.
"Ah... don't, hhh, fuck, don't stop," Charlie moaned.
He hated how close he was already. He wanted this to last forever. Crow left love bites along his neck as he traced his fingers beneath Charlie's shirt, eventually pulling it over his head.
"I’m close,” Crow breathed. He gripped onto his hips, allowing him to go deeper.
“Fuck!” Charlie cried out as he came, lines of cum landing on his abs. A few seconds more, and Crow pulled out, stroking himself until he finished on Charlie’s chest.
They were both breathing heavily. Charlie grinned ear to ear as he pulled Crow down to kiss him again.
“I should shower,” he murmured against his lips.
“Can I join?” Crow asked.
“Yes,” Charlie giggled.
Charlie stepped in first and rinsed off. They took turns lathering up with soap, and kissed in between.
“Are we telling anyone about this?” Charlie asked.
“Fuck no. We’ll never hear the end of it,” Crow said. Charlie laughed as he shut off the water and stepped out, wrapping a towel around his waist. He left the bathroom to retrieve their clothes, and jumped when he noticed Mallory sitting at the desk. He quickly picked up Crow’s clothes and threw them to him in the bathroom.
“Have fun?” Mallory asked.
Charlie ducked down behind the bed to slip on his clothes, only popping back up when dressed. Crow stepped out of the bathroom and folded his arms.
“Why are you here?” He questioned.
“To take you back to your room,” Mallory replied.
As they left, Crow looked over his shoulder and smiled at Charlie. Charlie returned it. He lied down on the bed, and let out a content sigh. Mallory was back a minute later, and picked up the collar from the floor.
“Sit up,” he ordered. Charlie sat up, and Mallory took note of the hickeys on his neck before snapping the collar back on. He looked annoyed, but Charlie didn’t care.
“I’m surprised you allowed us to do that,” he said as Mallory turned to leave.
“I have my reasons,” he said, walking out the door.
Charlie lied back down and stared at the ceiling. He closed his eyes, and for once, he was able to have a refreshing nap.

Monsta x being jealous reaction
I really loved your writing for the Monsta x reaction to you being jealous, could you do it the other way, please?!
↬ Shownu
Tumblr media
starting with our favourite leader
shownu is the type of guy who gets jealous but only tells you IF IF IF IF IF  you notice
THE MEN HAS NO FACIAL EXPRESSION!!!
i MEAN he has but only on stage opsss
anyway he never gets jealous about just guys hitting on you
he gets jealous of your attention
so here you were, at changkyun’s birthday and you were helping kihyun and kyunnie in the kitchen
that's was fine
but you were laughing at the boys
and being gorgeous ( why are you being like this? CAN YOU TRY TO BE UGLY ???? shownu calm down boy)
so he kinda gets angry and wants your attention
BUT HE does nOT tell YOU!!!
SO you just keep going like nothing happened
until you ask him to help you
and he just looks at you like grrr
you: ?? honey?
then everything just clicks in your mind
he is: J E A L O U S
YOU HUG HIM
give him attention and he will be fine
sn: >:(
you : * smooches love and kisses*
sn: :3
yeah that’s it he is fine now.
the second they are less jealous they are just... baby boys, right?

BABY I MISS YOU SO MUCH
mbb keep fighting for your love he deserves everything
Anyway
We know he is needy and he is VERY jealous of mbb, imagine in a relationship
He trusts you thought... He just doesn't trust men. ( Who do I mean tf)
YOU are his precious treasure
nobody can touch you without your permission
so when both of you were in one of those jooheons party’s and a strange guy started to be touching and flirty with you, he was already all over the guy
the thing is, he is waiting for your “permission”
you stopped him
you: I already told you, I HAVE A FUCKING BOYFRIEND YOU IDIOT
you pushed the guy and held wonho’s hands
you: men are annoying
wh: that’s right, men suck, sorry for being one
you: I mean if all of them were like you...
wh: would it be better? yes but... you could replace me for someone better
you: Wonho, that’s not such a thing. I will never in my life find someone better and more perfect for me, you're the only one, my love.
wh: good, because I am all ours.
will kiss u in front of that asshole just because he can ;)
and bc he wants
I mean, he is very touchy with you in public to not get in these types of situation
his bigger fear is that your strong personality put you in a big fight and you get hit or worse you know?
he hates the fact that guys only respect you bc of him and not for the fact that you are a person
and he lives to hate men with you
and keeps telling that, harassment its NOT your fault and will never be.
yes mbb, we stan the right men <3

Follow me on this one
He is a free young spirit who is not controlling or do not wants you to feel trapped at all
bUT
You are H I S girl
Not just like a gf
You are his partner/best friend/ lover
So no!!! he is not sharing the moments you both are supposed to do with someone else
He doesn't care if guys eat you with the eyes ( unless you care, and you do, so rip to them)
So watching a hero movie in the theatre with kihyun because is the movie premiere and he is working as an MC that night? It's a no-no to him
And as every demon Scorpio, you should know revenge is coming
He is basically not hanging with you
At all
You both live together and he is like " oh hey StRanGeR"
So you just apologise bc you miss him
And he misses you too so he MIGHT feel guilty and apologise too
mh: " I hate eating alone and sorry I did use your favourite serum last night just bc I was mad but I will buy another one you know youareeverythingtome just just... Don't hang out with kihyun alone doing stuff that me ME YOUR BOYFRIEND Lee minhyuk should do!!!!! Iloveyousorrysorry"
You can only laugh and kiss him
And ofc you sure him that hanging with kihyun is like taking your old aunt out bc she needs her vitamin c.
He is never letting kihyun live after this
You both good.
:) he is too soft to make you in pain

I honestly hate kihyun sassy ass
but I love him :(
he is A JEALOUS BITCH
a lil bit controlling... just keep him at his place and it will be fine
he gets more jealous of your friends and coworkers
because in his head, if you already like/love them, they can steal you
what a smart hamster
but dumb bc you wouldn't replace him
and even with a superego, like everyone, kihyun has his insecurities
so yes > afraid of losing you< its an issue here
one day you just keep telling about your friend wooyoung
and how happy you are for him and his lover
because he made like the cutest things for their one-year anniversary
and you just keep telling all the details, excited for your friend
kihyun gets jealous and mad because he thinks you’re saying that wooyoung is better, more romantic
kh: okay just date him already
you: ???? what?
kh: you only talk about how is he the most romantic guy right? i get it
you: no its not-
kh: I might not have a lot time for you bc of the band but I swear I try my very best for you, I mean if you are unhappy with me I understand but
you: kihyun shut up
he looks at you, damn he is mad
you sigh bc this hoe is mad for nothing
you: first of all wooyoung is gay and his lover is san
kh: ohh
you: yeah ohhh, plus I am very satisfied with you baby why would you say that? I love you bitch, I ain't never gonna stop loving you, bitch
kh: I love you too baby and stopping using old vines to tell you love me
you: no
you: I WANT A CHURCH BOY WHO GOES TO CHURCH AND READ HIS BIBLEEEE
kh: that’s it goodbye
kihyun has left the room
but smiling bc he loves you
↬ Hyungwon
Tumblr media
GOD HE DOES NOT CARE AT ALL
maybe because we know hyungwon is a very straightforward person
and you two make sure to always make clear each other feeling and thoughts
so Won knows how much you love him
you love him and he loves you
what's more important than that?
so when the fandom and the media discover about you two
that was rumours about you cheating on him with your best male friend
and someone photoshopped a picture of you two kissing
hyungwon saw this and immediately made sure to speak to the press
hw: this picture is fake and y/n is only a friend of the male with her, she is loyal so don't try to break something that is unbreakable
you cried seeing that bc
your men>>>>>>>>>>>>
you: baby you didn't tell me about that
hw: I didn't want to worry you, it’s okay now
you: you really trust me huh?
hw: of course I do
he kissed you gently
hw: also, I am a 10 and your friend is a 7 in the max, seriously you must be crazy to even think about cheating on me
you: you're right, I could never
you hug him because he is so precious uwu
And damn he is right
He is a god
Could you tell me where can I find my own hyungwon?
↬ Jooheon
Tumblr media
SO HAHA remember this lil shit?
with all that “ jealous is for ppl who don’t trust each other”?
haha BULLSHIT
once again joo trust you of course
but he gets annoyed
world please understand
YOU ARE HIS GIRL
PERIODT!!!!
so let's say that some pictures of you being hella sexy were out for the public
nothing promiscuous just
sexy you know?
so these pics were out ( was intentional bc you were promoting for a friend)
but everyone was talking about
so one rapper commented “ damn that’s hot”
and well
jooheon is not happy about this
he knows its only a campaign but DOES PPL NEED TO TALK THAT YOU ARE HOT?
jh: asshole hot is my fucking hand after slap your ugly face I swear I will cut everyone hand that commented those things about my girl
you: jooheon
jh: what???
you: well forget it, you're mad :(
he is sorry for being angry
jh: sorry baby, just tell me pretty baby ~
you: I was going to say... why don’t you do what they want so badly?
he still didn't understand
so you sit on his lap
kissing his neck, you whisper close to his ears
you: why don’t you show me what only you can do?
you: why don't you make me scream the name of the only person that can touch my body?
jh: oh baby, you can bet I will, gladly
he smirks and...
you know ;)
( I am not weak for angry!jooheon, you are)
↬ Changkyun
Tumblr media
he is the most passionate guy
that’s why Kyun is so confusing in my eyes
he pretends he is cold, but he is soft
he pretends being dope, he is weird
he pretends to be a fuckboy but is romantic
he pretends he does not care, but he cares, waaay too much
maybe both of you are jealous
nobody has ever said about being exclusive at all
but it was an exclusive thing
both just didn't know ( clowns 🤡)
the game was going to be a draw
but kyun couldn't help himself when that guy was touching you way too much
taking way to much smiles and laughs of you
when he could look at you way to close
and dance way to sensual with you
no, he couldn't help himself of picking you and find an empty place to talk
ck: look I just... why are you with him?
you: kyun I mean, you were with that girl too and, wait, you're jealous?
kyun just keep looking at you like you discover his dark secret
you: good, I was with him to make jealous
ck: really?
you: yeah so just fucking kiss me
and he did
all night
making sure that from now, you're his
and he is yours
like is supposed to be

AM/ PM Skincare Routine
So first of all I’m going to apologize for taking like a month to do this post when I said I’d do it in a few days.  I got pneumonia a few days after making my last post, then had bad reactions to multiple medicines I was taking for my asthma, then I got an ear infection, and then Friday I got a 24hr stomach flu thing but!!! I’m here to finally share my current skincare routine that has helped me clear my skin and keep it cleared, while also keeping it balanced! (I have combination and acne-prone skin)
So let’s get into it!!!
AM Routine
So for my morning routine I try to keep it simple, so it only has about five steps.
1. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. I LOVE this cleanser.  It doesn’t foam up as much as other foaming cleansers, so it doesn’t strip my skin and leave it feeling super dry and tight and it’s non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog your pores or cause more acne if your skin is prone to that.  Along with this, it has a lot of moisturizing ingredients that make your skin super soft!!
2. Thayers Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Toner with Cucumber. This toner is awesome if you have acne or sensitive skin.  It doesn’t dry out your skin like plain witch hazel does because of the aloe and cucumber, and those ingredients also help calm the skin instead of just making it dry.
3. Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence. I started using this a couple months ago after seeing a lot of good reviews for it.  I was hesitant though because of the fact that it’s made of bee venom and snail mucin, which sounds scary and gross, but gOD is this stuff worth it.  It has a more gel like consistency than a lot of other essences, but it doesn’t go on super thick or sticky.  It really helps balance my skin and helps to keep the oily parts of my face from getting too oily and also moisturizes the dryer parts.
4. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream. CeraVe is gonna pop up a lot in this post because I love their products so much.  I have sensitive skin, especially around my eyes so thicker and fragranced eye creams make my eyes burn real bad.  This eye cream is thick, but it’s unscented and gentle so it doesn’t bother my eyes AND it actually works (it takes a couple weeks to see results though).
5. Garnier SkinActive SPF 30 Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid. I’ve been using this moisturizer daily for a couple years now.  It’s kind of runny and not super thick, so it doesn’t make my skin super oily.  It also doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin like a lot of other moisturizing sun screens (like CeraVe’s does, unfortunately).  It has a slight fragrance, but it’s light enough that it doesn’t bother my skin.
And that’s it for my morning routine!  It’s super short and only takes like 10 minutes MAX.  My night routine is a lot more involved though, lol.
PM Routine
Okay so my nightly routine is literally just... so extra and I absolutely love it.
1. L’Oreal Micellar Cleansing Water. I wear a lot of waterproof eye makeup and using the cleansing oil I use on the rest of my face mess with my eyes, so a couple weeks ago I started using this take my eye makeup off and it works pretty good!  You don’t have to do a lot of rubbing and it doesn’t make my eyes super dry.  The only thing is that it leaves a kind of oily feeling behind for a few minutes, but I usually rinse it off anyways.
2. The Face Shop Natural Rice Water Light Cleansing Oil. This cleansing oil is step one in my double cleansing (which everyone should be doing) has been in my nightly routine for like.... a year or two now?  And it’s awesome.  It’s light enough that it doesn’t clog my pores like some of the thicker cleansing oils do.  It gets pretty much all of the makeup off my face and makes my skin feel super soft as well!  Rice water is really good for fading the dark spots that acne leaves behind and I think this has been one of the key products that’s helped me with that!
3. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser.
4. Exfoliate/ masks. On Tuesdays and Fridays I exfoliate with Ebanel Ultimate Brightening Peeling Gel.  This is only the second peeling gel I’ve tried but I like it.  Peeling gels are way better for your skin than physical exfoliants because they don’t scrape and rub at the skin.  It sounds gross but when you rub a peeling gel on your skin it picks up the dead skin cells and turns them into these little... pills of grossness that you rinse off with water.  On pretty much every other day of the week I use a mask, and I’ll try to make a post about my favorites soon!
5. Thayers Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Toner with Cucumber.
6. Instanatural Vitamin C Facial Toner. So I use a second toner in my PM routine because I wanted to add vitamin C into my routine because it’s good for fading dark spots and minimizing the look of pores and lemme tell you this stuff is amazing.  It makes my skin feel so soft and helped with my acne, acne marks, and pores in like a week.
7. Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence.
8. Nature Republic Soothing Moisture Aloe Vera 92%. Aloe vera is really, really good for people with sensitive skin and acne.  It’s super lightweight and soothing and no matter how hot wherever you keep it is, it’s always going to feel cool on your skin when you put it on.  I’ve also noticed that it’s helped fade my dark spots too, which is awesome.  Also, this stuff is super cheap and you get a lot of it, too, because I got the tub I’m using around this time last year and I’m just now starting to finish it up.
9. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. This is a recent addition to my PM routine, but boy howdy is it a good one.  I always kind of thought that The Ordinary was over hyped, but it’s so worth they hype.  It’s cheap and it works!  This serum is specifically for acne-prone skin and it helped clear up my skin when I was taking like three different steroids when I had pneumonia a couple weeks ago, that’s how good it is.
10. Complete Organics Organic Marula Oil. Okay I know it seems really counter intuitive to use an oil as thick as marula oil on acne-prone and combination/ oily skin, but hear me out.  Using non-comedogenic oils on your skin can actually help your skin produce less oils.  When you put oils like jojoba oil or marula oil on your skin, it kind of tricks your skin into believing that there’s already enough oil, so it won’t produce as much, so moisturizes the skin without clogging up your pores.  Marula oil is also high in fatty acids that really hydrate your skin and reduce redness.  It’s also good for fine lines AND makes your skin super smooth as well!
11. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream.
12. CeraVe Skin Renewing Cream Serum. This has got to be my all-time favorite skin care product because it targets so many different things.  I started using it after reading that retinol can help with acne and minimizing the look of pores, but I wanted to get a retinol that wouldn’t dry my skin out, as a lot of strong retinols have the tendency to leave skin dry, red, and flaky.  This serum has hyaluronic acid along with moisturizing ceramides in it that prevents this from happening.  I started using this also about a year ago, and even though it didn’t work immediately and it alone didn’t clear my skin, it’s one of the major products that did.  If I go even a day or two without using this my skin starts to act up again, so it’s definitely one of the major players in my skincare routine.  All the moisturizing ingredients in it also make my skin feel super smooth and soft, which is another plus!
13. AcneFree Sulfur Mask. AcneFree is one of the best drugstore brands I’ve come across, no lie.  I don’t use this as an actual mask because sulfur is too drying for my skin, but I do use this as a night time spot treatment and it works so well!
So that’s my AM and PM skin care routines.  My nighttime routine is SUPER long, and probably looks super intimidating to some of you who are just getting into skin care, but let me just say that:
1) I didn’t start out my journey in skin care with this long-ass routine.  I’ve built this routine over the last 3 or 4 years by slowly adding more products to it.  No matter how excited you are about starting a routine, introducing a huge number of new products to your skin is going to make it angry.  It’s better to slowly add more products over a couple of weeks or even months so that if your skin starts acting up, you know what product caused that, and so that your skin will have time to get used to a product before you add a new one
2) It’s so worth it.  Having a long skin care routine might seem time consuming and annoying, but after you see the results of all of your hard work, you’re going to start loving it.   Like it’s nice to be able to see my skin finally clear up after 12 years of struggling with my acne and skin problems and I absolutely love coming home after work and doing this routine because it’s super relaxing and it just feels nice to pamper myself, especially after a really hard or stressful day.
Taking care of your skin is super important and even if you don’t develop a huge routine like these, just doing the basics of cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and applying sunscreen is going to help your skin so much!

For reference, I probably somewhere in the NC42 45 range (I haven gotten matched so not exactly sure where I fall). Skin is normal, and I don use eyeshadow primer. My eye looks are also on the simple side (a blended crease shade that also on the lower lash, and maybe a shimmer on the lid).. For hours, the police said, Erica gnawed through the duct tape that bound her. Then, mostly feeling her way through the darkened basement, she hopped up the basement stairs only to the find the door locked, the police said. Two boys who had been playing outside the house heard her cries and led a pair of police officers to her.. I honestly never thought I'd have clear skin again.ANYWAYS, here's what FINALLY worked (and didn't) for my oily skin, acne prone skin:Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power LiquidZymogen Houttuynia Cordata Ferment Serum (HG!!! I didn't know what a HG item was until I found this, the difference this has made in my skin and the fact that I barely get any hormonal breakouts I attribute solely to this product. It smells MEH but GOD I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.)Power 10 Formula Vitamin C Effector I use this just for my eyes in hopes that it'll help with my tear through dark circles LOL. I can't say I've seen a difference, but I'll keep at it till the bottle is done.Nature Republic Soothing Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Usually my skin is well hydrated enough with the above but if it's feeling particularly dry I'll slather a bit of the gel on.Biore UV Aqua Rich Wattery Essence SPF50+ Gotta slather on that sunscreen!Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peel Reaaally gentle exfoliator and despite the steep price it's lasted me FOREVER. The best thing we did was to go to El Corte Ingles and get scooters for the kids. It too hard for them to keep up with the amount of walking we did and they had a blast riding around. Have fun!!. Personally I've always found the Stayfree or Kotex brand pads to be the best pads. They have more of a natural cotton liner than the Always brand. Always seems to take on a funky plastic scent and it gets worse when sweat is added. But I end up spending the rest of the day feeling uncomfortable. I hate feeling like that, and the whole process is exhausting to the point where I just don want to do it at all. If I didn have a full time job and a partner, I probably wouldn do it for weeks.. I love techno and I love showing the incredible bangers that I just found to other people, so DJing is the perfect hobby for me. He also hinted that I could play later when more ravers are there at the next event (it is monthly), so this is my chance to get a resident DJ at a small but nice event. SO HYPED!. My first makeup item was a concealer, when I realised that doing all nighters for my architecture degree made my self esteem suffer a lot. That turned into then adding blush, lip stains and tinted lip balms, and then slowly turned into the routine I have now. I think I got a bit carried 괴산출장안마 away in the last two years, a mixture of having disposable income, freedom and associating it with better esteem. Some people say it decreases crying my 50% and increases your bond. I don't have much else to offer. But don't feel guilty, you're trying and even when you thought you were gonna break, you still made okay choices.. I had gotten Honey Bunches of Oats, my favorite cereal, and I was eating it for breakfast in my dorm. I had woken up 괴산출장안마 earlier than usual, so I had a decent amount of time before my first class. I had just finished the box and I was gonna go recycle it, but I saw there was this promotion on it that you could win 1 of 500 prize pack, containing a Nintendo Switch and Super Mario Odyssey.

Evil Season 2: What Is Sheryl Pumping into Her Veins?
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This Evil interview contains spoilers.
Evil knows how to get the blood pumping. From mundane angst to cosmic dread, Paramount+’s psychological and paranormal mystery series finds the vein which controls the pulse. The main team of investigators are warned they will face their most frightening subject in their latest probe. Though it is said with a chuckle, the fear is universal. If it’s not death, it’s taxes. But “I Is for IRS” doesn’t merely mine the collective subconscious for a familiar terror, it turns the horrors of abuse upside down for an insidious take on the empowerment of darker dabblings.
While Ben (Aasif Mandvi), David (Mike Colter), and Kristen (Katja Herbers) all have shadowy sidelines, Sheryl (Christine Lahti) appears to be the most enthusiastic. She is willing to give all for the cause. This took an alarming turn during “O Is for Ovaphobia,” when Sheryl was forcibly drained after being drugged in a bar. But the twists didn’t end there. The distinctly unhealthy looking light brown fluid which is being pumped into Sheryl to replace the blood loss is an elixir of life. The opening sequence makes it look like quite the addictive drug.
Christine Lahti is an award-winning veteran who is as comfortable on stage or screen, big or small. Evil is her second role with Michelle King and Robert King, along with The Good Fight and The Good Wife. Lahti spoke with Den of Geek about the importance of keeping up the battles, righteous and profane, and what’s in that chemical cocktail she makes look so addictive.
Den of Geek: How are the rackets on the West Side?
Christine Lahti: They’re very rackety. Yeah. I love that line. That was so funny in that scene.
How much do you know about what’s happening to Sheryl and how much does she know about what’s happening to Sheryl?
I think, on the night of the last episode, where she got the roofie put in her drink, and was given the blood transfusion and this brown elixir, I think she blacked out all that. I don’t think she has a memory of that, but I think she feels fantastic now. This brown elixir they gave her was, it was explained to me by the Kings, like going to a spa. It’s vitamin B and C and youth serums and whatever, but she feels very empowered and great.
Sheryl is on a mission now. I think after Leland broke up with her, that was the last straw. There will be no more abusive men in her life. There will be no more “demons,” bad men. I don’t serve actual demons. I think she’s on a journey of empowerment. It’s not going to always be pretty, but I think she’s fueled by rage and revenge, and I think she’s using Leland. He thinks he’s using her. I think she’s got a bigger mission in mind.
Is it my imagination or do the denominations you feed to Eddie keep getting bigger?
I actually didn’t notice that, but I would not be surprised if that was true, because Eddie is a real positive force for Sheryl. I had to look at it that way. She is exploring her dark side, but to me, her dark side also involves, as I said, empowerment, and Eddie gives her calm and gives her a sense of confidence and entitlement, and things that she hasn’t really felt in her life. So, she meditates to Eddie. She talks to Eddie. It’s all positive.
Was stealing the dress part of a ritual?
No. I don’t think there’s any kind of evil ritual going on. I think she is exploring, again, her dark side, and maybe satanic kind of stuff. But she was doing this for empowerment, and she has been dealing with a psychopath who is Leland. I don’t think she believes that there’s a devil there. She doesn’t believe in the devil or God for that matter. I think she believes that this man is an abusive, dangerous psychopath, and she’s going to somehow, by hook or by crook, gain power over him.
The stealing of the dress was, I think, an act of rebellion about having to be a good girl, or obeying the rules. I don’t think it’s any kind of demonic possession. It’s not something she does a lot. I think it was a bad thing she did.
You bathe Leland in blood in “I Is for IRS.” What is he getting out of that? He’s human, isn’t he?
He is human. Yeah. I begrudgingly help Leland out. Again, I’m using him, I think, for something much greater, and some eventual power over him. You’d have to ask Michael Emerson or the Kings what she thinks he’s getting from this blood. From Sheryl’s point of view, she says it makes him feel better. It’s like the transfusions that I’m getting, the brown stuff. It is something that makes him feel better, like going to a spa.
Did you study any magic for the role?
No, not magic, but I did read up on satanic worship. Do people really believe that blood transfusions, if you get a blood transfusion, say from a psychopath, are you going to take on psychopathic qualities? And there are schools of thought that believe that you could take on some personality traits of people whose blood you have in you. So, it’s possible that I have some influence from that evening. But again, to me, I think of it all as positive right now. We’ll see, I don’t know what’s going to happen to this character, but I think that she’s on a journey that is very much about empowerment, and she’s going for it.
Do you have any idea what occult tradition Sheryl is practicing?
Occult. No, I don’t. I think, again, there’s a satanic cult thing that she is exploring and intrigued by, but I don’t think she’s following anything strictly. But I do think she’s very intrigued by that world, and whether it’s to ultimately have control over it or have some kind of revenge over Leland, I don’t know. I think she’s smarter than people think she is.
Why were you singing the song from Flight of the Conchords? What were you doing all night?
Well, it’s interesting because that next morning when we’re singing that song, I’m dressed in a completely different, non-Sheryl, pastel tennis outfit, singing this song. So, it was kind of a wild night, but I think I feel great. I feel rejuvenated. I don’t have a memory, as I said, of the horror of the previous night. I don’t know where the hell we got that song, but it probably had something to do with Tim Matheson’s character.
You worked with Robert and Michelle King on The Good Wife and The Good Fight. What is different about a King set? What’s different about what they bring to TV?
Just the writing. The writers room that they have, the writers that they’ve hired, they’re all just so smart and funny. They know their genre, but it crops genres. It’s a mix of such wonderful comedy or drama. It’s topical. The key to their office is so topical and political, which I love. And on set there’s a real sense of freedom. And I think we all feel as actors that we can try stuff, and improvise. They’re very confident that way. They’re very open to actors’ ideas and improv and behavior twists in the characters, which is great.
New York has plenty of spooky exteriors. Do you think the city will become more of a character as this show moves on?
I hope so. I’m not part of that planning, but I can’t imagine that the Kings wouldn’t take advantage of, as you said, many, many spooky exteriors that are all over New York.
Why won’t RSM give up Kristen’s unfertilized eggs? You’re the mother, does Sheryl have the evil gene? Is that why they’re holding onto her last egg?
I don’t believe in evil. I don’t think Sheryl has anything evil. I think Sheryl is exploring her dark side and there might be some psychological problems with Sheryl. It’s not about evil or the devil. I think that there is some truth to the blood transfusions. I don’t know about truth, but there’s some belief that when you have, let’s say you get, you need, blood and you happen to get it from a psychopath, that maybe you’re going to have some psychopathic problems, right? Or if you get blood from a really kind Buddhist monk, that maybe that’s going to influence you somehow. So, there might be some truth in that. But I don’t think that there’s anything about the devil to me.
What do you think you’re doing for Leland and Tim Matheson’s character? At one point, you’re driving holes in their heads.
Okay. I do not think I am Leland’s handmaiden. I think I am helping Leland out, but this is, to me, a bigger picture. It’s a grand scheme of how I’m manipulating Leland. I’m helping him out to get power, to get empowerment. And I don’t think I killed the guy with the drill. I think he probably has a really bad headache, but I drained some brain fluid. Big deal. I don’t think I killed him. I kept saying, I said to the Kings, “I’m not killing this guy, right? I’m not a murderer.” “No, no, no, no, no, no. You’re just taking some. Borrowing some brain fluid for Leland.”
Aren’t you afraid it may escalate to that?
To killing? Yeah. I am afraid of that. I don’t know where they’re taking Sheryl. I don’t think it’s going to get to that, but we’ll see. And again, and I said also to the Kings, I want to be sure that no matter how dark it gets, which I love exploring, and I’ll do anything, but she can’t hurt her grandchildren or her daughter. And they reassured me that Sheryl loves her family, who would do anything for them. And, in fact, would go to the greatest lengths to protect them.
What path is Sheryl bringing Kristen’s daughters? You showed them Eddie. You’re giving them little pieces here and there. What do you want for these kids?
I want them to be empowered. I want them to stand up for themselves. Sheryl’s proud of her daughter for hitting that guy in the grocery store. It’s misguided advice, but I think from Sheryl’s point of view, it’s  “Stop taking shit from men, girls, and daughters. I took shit from men my whole life. I’ve put up with abuse and put up with being controlled and repressed.” Actually, physically and sexually abused is my backstory for Sheryl. So now she’s done. She’s had enough and she’s going to get revenge. She’s going to get power by hook or by crook. I don’t think it’s necessarily virtuous, but I think that there’s a real righteous rage that Sheryl has that’s fueling all of this.
You’re also very permissive with your daughter when she comes in. Where do you stand on the husband with that, if she’s stepping out?
I don’t think Sheryl likes this husband at all, and I think she’s thinking he’s just a dead weight on the family. And why isn’t Kristen just dumping the guy and carrying on with her life? He’s been such a burden on the whole family, and a non-father to these kids. I think that she’s giving her daughter advice that she feels is positive. Like, “Here’s how to hide it. I had to do it with your father. I didn’t have a good relationship with your father.”
I think Sheryl’s husband was abusive. And I think that I stepped out on him and this is how I covered my tracks, and here’s how you can cover your tracks. Of course, you’re going to step out on this guy, your husband. He’s never around. He’s a bad guy. From Sheryl’s point of view, I think it’s good advice.
What was the most fun sequence to film? And did you wish you could have been in the wine barrels a couple of weeks ago?
Oh, that wine barrel sequence was hilarious. It was like Lucille Ball getting drunk at a winery. It was so cheeky. Katja was so delicious in that episode. For me, it’s all been fun. Navigating the relationship with Leland is really fascinating. It’s so complex because she wants to pretend that she’s helping him, I think, and that she’s “under his influence” but she knows better. She has a bigger purpose, as I said. So that’s all very delicate and, I think, full of subtext and rage and revenge, but pretending otherwise, right? It’s complicated. I love that.
When you’re preparing to do horror, what horror do you watch?
I don’t watch any horror. I don’t like the genre, generally. But why I love this show is its infusion of humor and intelligence and topical subjects. It’s such a mixed genre piece. But the horror stuff, honestly, I just close my eyes when that stuff comes on because I get too scared. I can’t watch it at night. The monsters freak me out. And actually, I’ve done some horrific stuff, but I don’t have a lot of monsters in my scenes so far, the monsters that Kristen dreams about George, and now Aasif [Mandvi] dreams about. Those monsters have not entered my world yet.
Right. But it’s all psychological horror.
To me it is. Yes, imagined psychological horror, that we are dealing with evil that emerges out of psychotics’ brains, mentally deranged and psychosis, so psychologically based, explained psychosis. Not the devil.
Does Sheryl like what her daughter’s doing, looking for the truth? Or does she feel, because it’s for the Catholic Church, that it’s not ever going to find the truth?
I think that she likes that her daughter is the truth-seeker in a world that’s so filled with deceit and corruption and lies, which is the Catholic Church. And she likes that she’s going to be a ghostbuster in a way. But she is impatient with her because she wants her to stand up for herself more. And again, I think she applauded hitting the guy who cut in line, because her daughter’s been so passive. She used to put up with a lot of shit from men. She’s impatient with her daughter, like, “Come on. Dump this husband. Stand up for yourself. Be more empowered,” just like she’s on her own empowerment path.
We’ve gotten comedy episodes, a silent episode. Is there a musical episode coming up, a period episode?
Oh, I would love that. That would be a dream. Yeah, that would be great. I don’t know, honestly, I haven’t seen anything for next season, but I’m very excited about it, because I think Sheryl’s path, her journey, is just getting more and more interesting and fun to play.

My Best Supermarket Skincare Buys
Brilliant skincare buys that you can pick up in the supermarket. I won’t dilly-dally about today with silly introductions and off piste distractions because I have limited time: I just hoovered up a load of moths with the Dyson and I don’t want them flying back out of the pipe.
Can that happen? I mean, if the suction isn’t on, can insects climb back out of the hoover? God I hope not. That is the stuff of nightmares, isn’t it? It’s the natural world’s equivalent of that wet-haired girl climbing out of the well in The Ring. You just want to slam a lid down on it and hammer in a few nine inch nails.
Luckily for the insects I empty the Dyson outside, so they are (sort of) freed back out into the wild. Though how long a domesticated, well-fed moth would last in the open I have no idea. Going from a diet of cashmere and merino wool to, I dunno, dandelions. It would be like turfing an aristocrat from his club into the back alley and asking him to fend for himself.
“What? No Lobster Thermidor? And who are you, dare I ask? No, I can absolutely not spare a squid! A … quid? What is this quid you speak of?”
Where was I? Must concentrate. If you’re self-isolating and only getting supermarket deliveries, or if you’re trying to keep deliveries to a minimum, then here are some cracking skincare products you can buy at the supermarket. Both online and instore.
I should add that there are far more options than the ones laid out, but I am working with what I’ve got. Products I use regularly and ones that I’ve previously tested. Once we’re all out of confinement, I promise you that I will continue my much-praised (haha) Supermarket Sweep series. I think I only did ASDA and Sainsbury’s before I got totally distracted.
I’ve concentrated on Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA and Waitrose here – I’m afraid I’m not so up to speed with Lidl and Aldi – they were on my to-do list but it’s impossible to try stuff at the moment!
Note, also, that I’ve avoided the powerhouse ingredients here; you can get various bits and bobs with vitamin C and retinol, but I haven’t tested them extensively enough to give them a proper thumbs up and so I have kept this post to the basics: cleanse, serum, moisturiser.
Cleanse
The supermarket shelves are awash with cleansing gels and foaming gels and wipes and micellar cleansers: there’s a distinct lack of balm, oil and cream cleansers. But I’ve checked, and pretty much across the board you can find one good, rich, creamy cleanser.
At Sainsbury’s I’d go for the Superfacialist Rose Cleanser (it’s also at Amazon here*) which is just gorgeous. I’m a long-term fan and if Sainsbury’s is your supermarket of choice then you’re in luck, because you also have the delightful Balance Me range.
Pricier than your usual supermarket offering, Balance Me have loads of great products – including a very good vitamin C serum, actually. Which is annoying because I’ve just said I’d avoid the powerhouse ingredients in this post!
Balance Me’s Balm cleanser is a treat – unctious, soft, it melts down to an oil and rinses off clean. It’s £20 at Sainsbury’s or LookFantastic here*.
At Tesco, I like the Cosmeticism Cleansing Cream here and at ASDA I really like the hot cloth polish from NSpa, which I couldn’t find online but sincerely hope they have instore. It’s a great budget cleanser.
At Waitrose, you have about a zillion options. Seriously, they have loads of wonderful brands – my pick would be the Weleda Almond Cleanser, which I’ve reviewed here.
Serum
For the serum step I’ve gone for a suit-all crowd-pleaser, good old hyaluronic acid. L’Oreal have a new 1.5% version that has recently launched in the UK, see if you can find it – they definitely have it at Sainsbury’s and at Lookfantastic here*.
The aforementioned Vit C one from Balance Me is great – again, find it at Sainsbury’s, and also online here*.
Olay do a great serum called 3 Point Firming – I tested this extensively a few years ago and it was excellent. Lightweight, non-greasy, plumping, sits well beneath makeup, keep an eye out for it!
Moisturise
My most-used supermarket-available options are below. The Simple moisturisers are a new discovery for me (via Nadine Baggott) and the teeny bottles are deceiving – you get a standard 50ml inside them. Just nifty packaging. I would highly recommend the calming hemp version.
Simple Calming Moisturiser with Hemp, many supermarkets and online at Boots here*.
L’Oreal Revitalift Night Cream-Mask, at Waitrose here* and most supermarkets. I’ve banged on about this one for years and years – it’s my favourite L’Oreal moisturiser and they make a lot. It’s more plumptious and effective than many of the far more expensive “sleep masks” I’ve tried from luxury brands and, with the hyaluronic serum layered beneath, it leaves your face as wibbly and turgid as an overfilled waterbed.
Treat
If you’re in a spot dilemma and need something immediately, you could do worse than to throw some Clearasil Rapid Action Pads. I mean you could do a lot better, but we are talking fast fixes here and I’ve tested these out a few times before so I know they don’t burn the bejeezus out of your face. I wouldn’t use them all over, because I find them drying, but use on the spot-prone areas and then just leave them to get to work. They’re saturated in salicylic acid so they help to keep pores clear without being to aggro in the process.
OK, I see a moth head poking out of the pipe (not a euphemism) (would be a strange one) so I must go and empty the dust-catcher. I’ve just realised I did a video on this entire post (amazing that someone could actually forget something so important) and so I’ll paste that in below for your watching pleasure.
Please do leave me your own supermarket skincare heroes in the comments – I will definitely be reinstating my video series and so I need to get testing once I can nip to the shops to research and stock up. Especially give me your Lidl and Aldi recommendations!

How To Simplify Your Skincare Routine
New Post has been published on http://healingawerness.com/news/how-to-simplify-your-skincare-routine/
How To Simplify Your Skincare Routine
You know what doesn’t go hand-in-hand? Beauty product hoarding and moving. December and January were absolutely consumed by moving and I *finally* (much to C’s pleasure) had to go through my beauty products and make some important decisions. Now, as a hyper-organized Virgo I’m actually pretty good about letting go of things that “don’t spark joy” but whats a girl gonna do when all her beauty and skincare products spark joy?! It’s been complicated to say the least.
Now, I know I’m not the norm here. I’m actually not a big shopper and prefer to upcycle things rather than buy something new, but we all have our thing that we just can’t get enough of and for me it’s clean beauty. Which should come as no surprise given how often I talk about it around here. But like I said, I’m not the norm and I even as a self-proclaimed beauty addict, things can get a little too complicated for me. So I can only imagine how someone who is looking to switch to cleaner beauty and skincare must feel when entering into the black hole that is green beauty. So today I want to talk about how to simplify your skincare routine. Both in terms of what to use but also how to save money on products. Because while I may love trying out new products and experimentation, putting together a skincare routine can actually be quite simple (and affordable!).
But first thing’s first we need to talk about 2 things:
1) How to Properly Apply Your Skincare Routine
2) Why spend more or less on skincare
For 1) I’ve already written a blog post about this. As I mentioned in the post, your skincare routine can be anywhere from 5-20 steps. How complicated it gets is up to you. I shared the very basics: cleanse, tone, serum, moisturize, spf but you are welcome to add on. If simplifying your skincare routine is a priority I recommend sticking to the 5 basics.
For 2) what you spend on skincare is entirely up to you. Today I’m going to share how to simplify i.e. spend the bare minimum for clean beauty without sacrificing too much quality BUT if you’re like me and you want that rare flower only grown in the Himalayas infused into your oils, you have to be okay with paying for it. Are there benefits to it? Yes. But just because there are benefits doesn’t mean it is essential. I do my very best to stay away from recommending anything too expensive around here, but occasionally there are products that really are worth the money. Others, not so much. That’s really what this post is about. Let’s get into it.
How To Simplify Your Skincare Routine
Let’s assume you’re taking a bare minimum approach and just doing the 5-step process of cleanse, tone, serum, moisturizer and spf the question then becomes where can you save money and/or find accessible products? Let’s break it down:
1) Cleanser = Honey
I know what you may be thinking – honey as my cleanser? Yes, honey is an incredibly gentle and effective facial cleanser. Honey contains antibacterial, probiotic, and healing properties and is super nourishing and hydrating for the skin. Apply as you would a normal cleanser by wetting the face and using a dollop of honey all over. Remove with water and a washcloth. Note: you’ll want to use raw honey here. The processed honey you find in teddy bear squeeze bottles has very few nutrients remaining and is effectively just washing your face with corn syrup. If you are removing makeup first, a simplifying hack is to use pure coconut oil. Just apply coconut oil directly to dry skin and place a warm washcloth on top to remove oil and makeup. Make sure you remove everything. Follow it up with your honey cleanser.
2) Toner = Rosewater or Witch Hazel
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there is no reason to spend a lot on toners. I’ve used expensive toners and cheap toners and there is very little difference. Most Whole Foods and health food stores will carry rosewater or witch hazel which are both effective toners for balancing the pH of your skin and/or removing any remaining impurities. Just be sure to read the bottle to ensure there aren’t a bunch of extra added ingredients. You want pure rosewater or witch hazel.
3) Serum = Spend your $$$
If you’re going to invest in any part of your skincare routine, it should be your serum. Serum is the added boost step. It’s where you indulge your skin in whatever you are looking to support. Whether it’s an added boost of vitamin C, anti-aging products or acne-soothing, if you’re going to spend money on your skincare it should be on your serums. I recommend not cutting corners here. I spend a lot on serums because they’re effective. Here are my favorites:
4) Moisturize = Pure oils like rosehip seed oil or grapeseed oil
There are TONS of moisturizing oils out there. Each one touting its benefits but to be honest, you can get away with spending much less. I may love my mix of oils specializing tailored to my skin but I do not think anyone should be spending a ton of money on their oils if it’s not something they care that much about. Many people have a lot of success with pure rosehip seed oil, which is great for redness and scarring. My personal favorite pure oil is grapeseed oil which works super well for my dry, acne-prone skin. Another option is squalane oil which people with oily skin tend to love. Just make sure you’re ordering quality products. Look for cold-pressed and organic where possible.
5) SPF = Keep it simple
Honestly, there aren’t a ton of cheaper clean SPFs out there. I’m currently working my way through a bunch of facial SPFs trying to find a safe and effective one that works for sensitive skin. My absolute favorite is the Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream ($85) but I get that it’s expensive. C uses the Suntegrity Moisurizing Suncreen ($45) which he loves and finds effective so this is a cheaper option. Let’s just say that this is work-in-progress, but for the love of god please do not skip SPF!
Would love to hear from you guys if you find these types of posts helpful. My goal is always to make the clean beauty space more accessible to you. There is a learning curve, but as you can see it doesn’t need to be too complicated. Please let me know in the comments below or shoot me an email if you find this helpful and want to see similar posts. Ideas are always welcome.
