Artfight Attack Updates, My Take on Maryverse (Non-Undertale/Deltarune) Overworld Sprites, and SwilTaett 'FANART FEATURE' Version Two!

The Second Attack was for @butterrbee , featuring IGNEO MALICE (who I also attempted to make a palette for in this artwork) interacting with Patchwork, an original OC who was chosen because of their similar aesthetic to Ripper and shared interest in pranks and trickery!

Because the original image didn't have much context for it, I'd decided to do an improv recording of IGNEO Malice talking to Patchwork after reading the Reference Sheet.

The tone and stability of voice, as well as accuracy of the laugh is consistent to other Voice Tests, but because of it being improvised (which I don't have much experience with yet) I wasn't able to keep IGNEO MALICE's pattern of rhyming like Jevil does in Deltarune.

Here's what the original Reference for Patchwork looks like, in case anybody else was wanting to make Fanart of him for butterbee, whether it's for Artfight or not!

The Third Attack was for @marnielovesyouu ! Featuring Mary Rosemary and PeePee, who are both Cast Members from Marnie's 'Maryverse' Project, which already has concepts and animatics for a Theoretical TV Series, where the three members of 'Catgirl at Heart' (Mary Rosemary, Sasha Tones and Skylar McMilliwood) have to compete against bands of different music genres to play at the Tower of Melodies in the middle of Kitty City!

As this attack also needs context in order to make sense, Mary has been described and shown as being afraid of cats, despite many elements in Maryverse being cat-like in theming or names (such as with Kitty Citty, the Pawprint Amphitheatre, Straycay Suburbs, and the potential name for the Hot Topic-Inspired Shop that Mary works at for her dayjob).

Although the reference image underneath uses the Old Version of PeePee's Design, it is what was used as inspiration for Mary's scared expression, with larger eyes and an alert stance.

The other character who I haven’t referenced yet is marnielovesyouu whenever drawing herself with a sona, who I'd chosen to present in the attack itself as well as in the Artfight Description as being godlike (as she was responsible for creating Maryverse, as well as also having experience in making very good Concept Art for other projects like Andromedia and Vision Crew's Deltarune Takes).

I'm not sure whether she canonically exists in Maryverse, but the two have been drawn together multiple times:

'You haven’t experienced the true joy of creating if you’ve never drawn yourself and your OC having fun'.

'I know you meant the Pokémon Marnie but I scribbled this once…'

So if Marnie does exist in this world, her and Mary definitely seem to be friends (although one of the tags did say about them and how 'We're dating for real' despite both already having partners). But because the earliest version of Mary's Design also being described as a sona before Marnie had her own, it would mean that the Maryverse Version of God is an AU Mary, which would make sense as Mary was the first Cast Member made for the project.

Finally, in regards to the 'FANART FEATURE' segment of the SwilTaett MASTERPOST, the post has now reached its Image Limit, and I'm not able to add any more recent images since mrchaosman's Scamcair and Grimpula Fanart. because of the most recent SwilTaett Fanart, which was also made by butterbee as Revenge for my Patchwork attack in Artfight!

If anybody has a suggestion for how they would want this issue to be fixed, please do say!

Also, I apologize for this being later of an Announcement than it should've been! However, it's because I've been working on a Non-Undertale/Deltarune Theory now that I've been able to interact with the project's creator. It's planned to be a longer post than usual, with two smaller and less theories attached to it underneath the 'Read More'.

I've also been thinking of a scenario where the Cast Members across my different projects have in-character interactions with eachother (with as much as had been written before them beforehand, and with some projects that I've never made reference to before)! Appearance: Morse has bright cat-like argentine eye that constantly glimmers with curiosity when something piqued her interest. Fun Facts

Morse hates talking to anyone, so she just let her ipad do the talking for her. But her words was always written after her namesake, the Morse Code. Ace, Deuce and Grim always forced her to speak to them without codes.

She have a white bunny stuffed toy named Moran which she carries everywhere. She said it was a birthday gift from Crowley.

Morse lacks the sense of taste, thus she developed the complete hatred of food. She is fond of junk foods though, claiming that she loves how it crunches between her teeth even though she cannot taste it at all.

Morse keeps a diary, journalizing all of her adventures and pranks.

She has astraphobia: the extreme fear of thunder and lightning. She's also not fond of storms and rain. She gets jittery and panics a lot. 

According to Crowley, “her right eye can see through everything but reflects nothing. On the other hand, her left eye is just an empty hole.” She blatantly refused to tell anyone why and how she lost it.

Everyone would often see her wearing a pair of earphones when walking, listening to music.

Her taste in music was always soft rock and acoustic, much to everyone’s surprise.

a dream may not come true

ok I’ve been thinking how to fix and maybe make a 9 season of vld.

Ok here is the idea, first of all the last credits scenes at the end of season 8 are forgotten, none of that happened. (sorry Curtis :c I love you)

So vld crew it’s been flying and making alliances on the Atlas, but the vld team it’s been suffering from some weird dreams that involve into nightmares, at first no one acknowledges this, until one day Lance’s mark disappear.

The team is concerned what this mean. Until Pidge tells them there are some reports in the galaxy about some events, there are some disturbances in the realities, there are some rips in the realities that is affecting the planets.

After some investigation Pidge, Hunk and Coran come to the conclusion that someone, is trying to rip the realities again. More like There are two sides, this side of the realities Allura created (good side), and another side (the bad side), this one is trying to force their way and enter this realities, but what for? it’s not clear yet.

So know they are trying to think what they can do, and what is the relationship with the nightmares.

Seems that, at damaging the realities Allura created, it’s a danger for not only the universe, but for Allura and the lions, they are holding this damage but it seems they are loosing the battle and eventually once this bad creatures make their way throw the realities a huge disaster is going to happen in all the universe.

(I KNOW this has no sense, but pfff season 8 has no sense so fuck logic)

The atlas is attacked by some of this creatures, all their androids and beings resemble spiders or arachnids, with a color scheme with reds and greens.

So, because the evil creatures  are outnumbering the atlas it’s clear they are going to lose but.

It arrives a golden, silver and a white lion. And they defend and save the Atlas.

And team vld didn’t had ANY idea they existed, at all.

so they let this new lions enter the atlas, and through a smoke mist the new vld members approach to the old team.

The golden lion it’s a male pilot, 

The silver lion is a female pilot. 

And the white lion (and it’s a male lion) is a female pilot. 

Neither of them know each other, each lion came from a different reality an picked a pilot.

All of them are humans or some short of human from their reality, but I want to make a point neither of new trio is a soldier, they stumbled with the lions by almost accident and their lions took them to the atlas.

So this new team, has even more flaws in their interactions that the first voltron team. The golden and silver lion always fight, and the white lion (supposedly the leader) is so insecure and shy, she can’t stand the idea of commanding the others and being a leader (yes yes we already saw that in vld and millions of times but I’m just a person with an idea)

So where this lions came from?

Apparently, after Allura fixed the realities some short of residual energy from the lions took physical form, and after the lions saw they themselves and Allura are in danger transferred some of their powers to the new lions so they can help team voltron against the bad creatures.

So, because this lions are new, their powers are way more unstable, they need a stronger bond throw their pilots so they can form voltron, and not only that, they need the new lions to fix the big hole Allura and the lions are desperately trying to hold. It’s a matter of time this hole will explode and make a open gate this creatures enter and put on risk all the realities.

So Coran and the older team try to coach this new team, with new abilities, bonding. At some point it’s clear the new team it’s having more bonding problems so Coran roles them in a galactic tournament, where they can compete so they can finally work as a real team. 

And surprise! since the first team voltron is so beloved, no one likes this new team, once the new team enters the arena the crowd boo at them (”your colors are awful”, “you are not team voltron” “we want team voltron”) And of course all the other teams in the tournament pick on them and try to make them loose but at the end they win. (sorry it’s just I love when cartoons make tournaments like TLOK)

^^ I want to make here a pause, to add that, Shiro is having problems watching the transmission of the tournament, since the arena looks a lot like the galra arena he fought for years, and all the others original voltron team help him with his panic attack. Yes, the older team is still having consequences of their fight against the Galra and Honerva, and they comortf each other as friends and family.

So after all of this it seems the new team is ready to make the new step to try to fix the hole, Shiro and Keith gave lessons to the white lion pilot how to be a leader, so the lions fly to the point of the galaxy where Allura and the lions are.

There’s a big red light energy trapping the lions, and in the center there’s a white light tingling, the older team can feel it’s Allura struggling to contain this big hole, the new lions take a triangle formation, and with the help of the white energy ropes the white lion can produce they try to close and cover this hole. (it’s bigger than all season 7-8 plot holes haha, sorry) 

After some struggles they can close the gap, and there’s a white light, Allura identity floating?, they decide to take her back, since basically she’s not holding anymore the reality rupture, maybe they can bring her back??

So they take her energy, and put it in a capsule, basically she has no longer a physical body, so the only way to put her conscious back is to make a new body for her.

Ok, so now comes the oc time, I was thinking, maybe the white lion pilot is a made up human mixed with a ancient race, there was a time two alien species co-exist, some of them had so much energy and power eventually the others were envious and created a disease to kill the others and that was the end of this species, that was until a scientist decided to replicate their DNA to bring them back and that were the white lion pilot comes, she’s a half human half this ancient species, that’s how she can pilot the white lion, she has lots of energy. 

I’m a bit insecure about this, because I was thinking this scientist- “daughter” is a very toxic relationship, this scientist never let the white lion pilot (twenty is her name) to go out or to make anything that could put her in danger, she’s the only successful experiment to bring this species back, all the other perished eventually so that’s why they never let go out of the lab or basically have fun or enjoy something, it’s like a very unhealthy relationship, instead of father/mother - son, it’s more like scientist - object relationship. That’s why twenty took the white lion to escape, she wanted to know, to explore, to live beyond being trapped in a lab.

But ok I don’t know what you think about this, like I think from here in my IMPOSSIBLE DREAM we could make a season 9 and 10 season, fix the things, explore the friends and family relationship.

And I mean it’s impossible, I never studied animation, but I think I will start a animation writer course in an animation school. (vld inspired me haha)

I think season 8 yes it was a bit disaster but the possibilities are not done to fix it, it would just take a bit more of patience and inspiration to fix things

I have more ideas, and I can draw everything, like the villian, the bad creatures soldiers, the new lion pilots.

And of course how the story will develop, how they make Alluras’ new body, how they meet the villain, the major conflict, etc

Name: Tempera Arcenciel

Color Naming Rule:  -Tempera is a type of paint.  -"Arc-en-ciel" is a French word meaning "rainbow.”

Nickname(s): "Temp" Species: Human. Occupation: Huntress, freelance artist. Alignment: Chaotic Good.

Location: Haven Academy.

Team: N/A Height: 5'7”

Weight: Undisclosed (lightweight). Appearance: Bright blue eyes. Fair skin. Somewhat frail build. Tempera dresses in an overblown manner meant to grab people's attention, with an eye-hurting amount of pink, white, and smaller amounts of other bright colors. Oversized light pink gloves that give more control and dexterity than they let on; she wears them on most occasions. A pair of leggings of a shade of pink slightly lighter than her shirt, and light brown loafers. Her hair is interesting; her hair is not naturally a rainbow spectrum; ordinarily, it’s a three-stripe pattern of red, green, and blue. She has a lot of trouble getting her hair to look "just so," since she dyes each colored section of hair individually, waiting for each section to dry before starting another one in order to prevent blending. She's very fussy about it, and won't stand to have even a single drop of dye in the wrong place. Thanks to this, her morning routine can take hours. Her scarf is her favorite accessory, primarily because she sewed the rainbow bits on herself. Weapon: Achromatopsia (Greek for “color blind”) 

   A light silver staff modeled after a huge paintbrush. It’s about five feet long. Much like a paintbrush, the tip is capped with long, thin filaments that serve the same function as the hairs on a regular paintbrush, albeit on an obviously larger scale. A small, palette-shaped control panel for quick selection is inlaid into the "grip" of the staff - in other words, it's just stuck into the side. Tempera can basically wield her brush however she wants to, since there's no real standard for fighting with a giant silver paintbrush. Alternatively, she can rotate the chambers manually. The staff also features a rotating, ten-slotted chamber to allow for on-the-fly switching between different paint types.That’s one slot for each color in the ROYGBIV spectrum, plus two for black and white; the tenth slot is kept blank and serves as the “safety” for the weapon.

   Achromatopsia can be used as a bludgeoning weapon or as a conduit for her Semblance, but more so the latter. When used as a conduit, the Dust-paint coagulates on the tip of the “brush” and she fights by “painting” as if using...well, a giant paintbrush. The Dust lingers in the air briefly after she swings the staff if she swings at open air. She can also paint surfaces with it, in which case the Dust-paint takes effect on contact. Her attack speed is a little on the slow side, but that is to be expected-- painting is, after all, an art that requires time and finesse, so it can’t be rushed.

Personality: Whimsical, cheerful, constantly in her own little world. Always trying to keep herself entertained. Tempera has a very vivid imagination, which works well with her Semblance. Perhaps because of her imagination, she's incredibly superstitious: she is a fervent believer in ghosts and spirits. Possesses an incredibly creative and inquisitive mind; excellent at logic puzzles. She's prone to making jokes or quips whenever an opportunity arises, and she isn't afraid to deliver a witty riposte to anyone who tries to challenge her in that department. No verbal filter; she says whatever’s on her mind, regardless of social appropriateness or whether or not people want to hear it. She's easily distracted, and often zones out in class thinking about this or that.

Semblance: Color Change. (Type: Active Semblance)

 Initially, the ability to change the color of things may sound like an incredibly underpowered Semblance, but Tempera makes the best of it with its deceptively wide variety of utility. The paint she carries is specially-made paint - it’s around 50% dust by mass. The formula for the other 50% is her own custom paint blend, since no run of the mill store-bought paint works well enough. She carries more than enough paint on her person at all times; she carries both blank (uncolored) paint and colored paint; that way, she's always ready for anything. If she's in a pinch, she can synthesize more "blank paint" by drawing from her own Aura, but she only does this if she's absolutely out of options.

  The paint has various effects, depending on the color of the paint and the Dust that was used to make it. Red paint (red Dust) is the obligatory area control. It bursts into flames the second it contacts the ground. Like petroleum jelly, only it doesn't stick to people like Petroleum Jelly does. This is the "art" of war. Green paint (green Dust, or mixed blue and yellow Dust, either one works) creates currents of wind that'll rotate individuals in a circular tornado pattern. Orange paint (mixed red and yellow Dust) becomes solid earth that can act as a bridge or as a barrier to soak up attacks/projectiles. White paint turns into a glossy substance that reflects projectiles. Violet becomes a poisonous marsh; a tar pit that spews toxic fumes and slows down anyone unfortunate enough to step in it, in addition to the toxins which weaken their Aura — the toxins aren't strong enough to inflict death, however. Blue is a water-like fake wall which appears real, but is actually pass-through. Indigo becomes an icy surface on contact with the ground, making movement difficult. It can also be used to counteract Red paint if the latter is used wrongly, and vice versa. Black paint is a dark void that robs the gift of sight from anyone inside of it. It also can't be seen through from the outside, so it can be used to mask activity. However, if the enemy thinks to do so, they can also use this to their advantage, since she can't see what's going on on the other side of it any better than they can. It will override all other paints. The color black does not discriminate between friend and foe - it sees only color, color that it wishes to blot out. Yellow paint creates a magnetic field where it is spread. It weighs down certain metal equipment in its area of effect, pulling it to the ground -- naturally, this excludes Temp's Achromatopsia staff, but anyone wearing heavy metal armor had best be careful, lest they be weighed down and immobilized.

Having her pencil break mid-drawing and the resulting smudge messing stuff up.

Attack Power: B (Not the best, not the worst. Lots of ways to get things done, though.)

Defense: D- (Yeah, no. She's about as durable as a wet napkin. She does what she can to stay out of the line of fire.)

Speed: B (More or less average. Nothing to write home about.)

Intelligence: A- (Temp is a pretty smart cookie. She likes to think up unusual ways to get things done, even if a simpler route might be more convenient. But hey, where's the fun in “simple”?)

Versatility: A++ (“Versatile” does not even begin to describe the tactical wunderkind that is Tempera Arcenciel. An arsenal jam-packed with all kinds of utility makes her an unpredictable opponent and a valuable ally.)

Overall Rating: B+ (She’s competent in a combat situation, but her Semblance gears her towards a more support-oriented role. She does better when there are allies around that she can assist.) Random little character quirks that don’t fit anywhere else: -She doesn't understand the concept of greyscale. -Temp actually has a favorite color, contrary to what one would expect. (Note: it's cerulean blue.) -An excellent pastry chef. She makes especially good sugar cookies. -The best at checkers. -She didn't join Haven for the glory, or to make friends or out of any particular desire to fight the Grimm or any of the standard stuff. As an artist at heart, Tempera believed that the image of a school-ful of students fighting against unholy creatures of the night would make for a fantastic painting. However, since schoolwork will be schoolwork and Grimm wait for no one, she's biding her time and waiting for the golden opportunity to present itself. In the meantime, though, she's still having lots of fun fighting the Grimm and interacting with other Havenites.

-Temp sleeps face down. She's gotta have at least three pillows -- two to sleep on, one to hug as a sort of safeguard against nightmares -- before she can get to sleep.

-She's highly protective of Achromatopsia, and cares for the staff as if it were her child. Every day, she polishes it until it shines. Her routine is “don’t stop polishing until I can see my reflection in it.”

Author’s Notes: 

HOO BOY, where to start with this one...

The idea for Tempera came to me out of 50% creative spark and 50% defiance. I thought to myself, “Why should I name my character after just one color? Y’know what, no, screw that -- I’m gonna name her after ALL OF THE COLORS!!” 

Tempera Arcenciel is inspired by -- drumroll, please -- a bottle of tempera paint. Don’t give me that look; if Roman Torchwick can be inspired by a candle, Tempera can be inspired by paint.

That said, I invite you to judge me! Tell me what ya’ll think of Tempera. If there’s anything that you think could be fixed or modified or whatever, do let me know. I’d love to hear what y’all think!

 kind of a hunger games situation happens, he offers himself up so a parent isnt seperated from a child (just cant not help, its a bad decision and they get that but they just *clenches fist* hero comlpex a bit)

BUT the infection from world 1 did sth to him? (superpowers kinda, has no clue what anything is or does) 

hes still affected by it somehow and is able to escape the ppl leading him to the monster thing to eat

finds out they picked a rando instead and feels bad

tries to save the rando

figures out monster thing is basicly a big fungus that uses ppl to carry spores 

-> the infection he carries infects a spore carries and they die immediatly

quick plan: infect fungus w a disease it is completly unkonw to

doesnt work, spore carriers actually are connected to fungus, its building anti-bodies

he dies in the sewers trying to escape the ppl feeding the fungus.

world 3 - 

wakes up in the sewers

THERS WERE-PPL!! dont change into any specific animal, but tend to have a favourite

theyre kinda nice, help them out, give them food 

they accidentally get infected through shenanigans (it was very non-specific in the dream yo)

tries to figure out both infection based power systems here, quicker to get the were-thing since ppl aroung them actually know what that is. everything else is just weird to everyone

also - possibility of first infection evolving through each world change? didnt notice powers in world 1, only some in world 2, more here?

BUT also very little time to try and figure shit out till now

very chill for a while, hopes they can settle down and maybe not die maybe

SURPRISE children are getting kidnapped!!

so tito goes to help bc thats just what theydo by now fuck

gets captured, basicly forced to do what kidnappers want w threat of children getting killed (im just gonna say they were able to do them damage for a while before the kidnappers figured out who he is/ a weakness. there was no reason anywhere)

they find a hole in the command chain, go out in a blaze of glory, all the kidnappers are gone (as far as they know)

theyre also very dead and bleed out in the middle of a field

world 4 -

arent just trying to kill him though, theres also some old man theyre going after

helps the old man, is the grandchild (adopted) of some immortal lady

she is very thankful and gives him the gift of 3 very specific magic powers of his choosing (theyre like marbles and he has to pick 3)

1. Open any door anywhere (doesnt need to be connected) and just wish to go to a place (the more specific the better)

2. Change anything he wants to into a small marble though sheer will power. has to concentrate to keep the shape

3. basicly featherfall but more controlled. actually, more like steven universe floating powers

by now the first infection is basicly a magic system of its own but its all very instinct based. poor tito has no fucning clue

the colour here were very bright, lots of flowers and sunshine and stuff

person is helke. shes nice but kind of scary sometimes. its mostly a joke for her though

she helps him get used to the world

his powers are by now vry fucking op. but there are SO many powers here too and she fills him in

silver minds: can sense things like weapons if theyre being carried w the intent to harm them or someone they want to look out for. can redirect them against their users, or just stop them alltogether. somewhat staticy voice when stressed, very cold to the touch. born this way

schalks: completly immune to mind intrusion based powers. somewhat of a pack mentality. cannot be located if they dont want to be, very selective in what contact they want. group together for social contact, and also: need contact to eachother bc they need to share excess energy between eachother or they kinda implode. infection based, 2 schalks can have schalk bbys but not often

werewolves: ya only wolves. helke is one! grow up in packs, but adults tend to seperate from larger packs to form their own. can change whenever, super strong always, also fast when changed. just really like raw meat yk? born this way, packs can be made up from basicly anything

basicly helke wants to start a pack and invites him to stay since she doesnt like being alone and wants to help, and ofc he wants to help her

they meet another young werewolf (i think. big fighty and a beard. might be sth else at some point) and he joins them. this is nikola

they meet a young girl, whos a silver mind and kinda running away from home bc bad home life. her names rita.

they invite her to join the pack, which she does and pack rules are kinda big so after proving themselves as reasonably good guardians for her shes officially adopted

she runs into a lonely (very lonely, kinda dying) schalk who lost contact to their group and the pack help them find their group.

the group becomes kinda part of the pack, but the rest of the schalk group isnt a fan of big groups of ppl, so the 4 schalks and the 4-pack live in different locations

now /someone/ notices tito like how goop-slener-vamp did in world 4 and tries to capture tito (who was hanging out w rita while that happened.

thank fuck for marble magic, so rita is safe, tito can flee to the schalks (take us somewhere safe)

an turns tito into a schalk, so he wont be found anymore so now he has to kind of move between the 2 camps a lot

on their way to and fro they meet another kid called jacko (also running away, wont say why). is taken into the pack after more safety precautions

tito - (he/they/it), roughly 25 (time is weird) not good at thinking, wants to be nice, wants to help, very op, kinda whimsical, very sweet person. DOES NOT WANT TO DIE AGAIN it sucks just want to be happy and make others happ, protective big sibling, everyone is their baby sib

helke - (she/her), 27 wants to help and have a big family/pack, big jokester, tries to be scary, only strangers will believe that, great at handywork and making every sort of meat food. also hunting. lumberjack vibe, chills w nikola, sports w tito, gmaes w kids

nikola - (he/him), 24 chill weed vibe. big fan of cleaning, lock your door if you dont want him to do your laundry. big into birdwatching. somehow in a pack w very intense or op folk which he finds a bit intimidating. doesnt realise hes also big intimidating. has gotten into 3 fights in his life but they were SCARY af, safe zone for tito, fun zone w tito

rita - (she/her), 15 good girl, can be kinda scary, very competetive, VERY COMPETATIVE, will draw hearts on your cast and help you and stuff, after having broken your arm, close w helke and tito

jacko - (he/him), 11 good boy, v shy, v opinionated. would have a blog if older. tried to make one but fled after 1 bad interaction. had to talk abt that a lot to understand it. arts n crafts boy, also climbing, looks up to nikola a lot

an - (they/them), 26 very quiet, thinks theyre right p much always, wants the best for everyone, but not super great at respecting ppls wishes. needs sense knocked into them every now and then. tries very hard. fails. plyam w leena and karim, not good w nikola

leena (she/them), 25, big into animals, big into food, big into random interest of the week. looses interest quickly though

karim (he/him), 26, big art, the one braincell between all the schalks (including tito bc omg BOY), draws creepy things on trees to fuck w ppl, prankster fuck

essek (he/they) 24, fashion and food, loudest of the schalks, goes into the city to get neccessities and general stuff, kinda crushing on tito, sib of karim

in general, the pack is very close. even an and nikola, but theyre kinda cold since an turned tito (tito is ok w it, nikola is big mad an didnt give tito an option, big fight 3, very fucking scary). but they do love eachother a lot, what ive noted were just the stand outs.

same w the schalks, theyre very close but i havent had any of these long enough to get a super good feel on the relationships between eeryone
