【KagePro】 Flower Symbolisms: KuroEne 🖤💙💐

Some of my recent KuroEne rambles. Includes my art ideas and rambles on KuroEne x Bougainvillea by Kashii Moimi.

Because of this, I also looked into the Hanakotoba (Japanese Floriography, lit. "Language of Flowers") meaning of Bougainvillea as well. You can check it out under the cut!

KuroEne x Hanakotoba 🖤💙💐

I picked flowers for my fave ships based on appearance (theme colours) and symbolism, with inputs from my mutuals.

Black Magic Petunia and Himalayan Blue Poppy were Feila's picks ^^

After seeing their flower picks, I looked into flowers and their Hanakotoba meanings to pick ones for Kuroha and Ene.

I only put Petunia there (since it lists the general meaning of Petunia flowers), to contrast the meaning of Black Magic Petunia flowers.

I wrote about it more HERE before, along with my other ships.

After listening to Bougainvillea by Kashii Moimi, I decided to add Bougainvillea due to its Hanakotoba meanings: Passion; You are full of charm; I see only you

I think that "Passion" is one of the words that encompasses their relationship in my KuroEne AU well ^^

I picked flowers based on their colours and meanings for my fave ships

Right now I just did them for XanLena, JuAli, and KuroEne.

I have some in mind for LimGuda, but I haven't added them yet.

I'll definitely add IdaTatsu later ^^

I didn't put photos in my Notion page cuz it'd lag the page, but I'm considering putting them in the future

Art Ideas

I had a few art ideas for KuroEne, themed with captions like:

Black Veil

We'll dance until the end of the world

KuroEne is the Snake x Bunny themed couple 🐍🐇

Kuroha/Saeru = Snake of Clearing Eyes

He posseses Konoha, a person Ene has a certain special relationship with and fondness for.

Ene's twintails look like bunny ears 🐰🐇

Not sure when I'll draw it but I had an art idea of Kuroha draping a translucent black bridal veil over him and Ene with a smirk. One hand is draping it over them, and the other is caressing near her face gently...

The art concept is so sexy when I imagine it so I'll try to turn it into reality… Maybe I should draw them in wedding clothes rather than their usual outfits, but they'd still look sexy with a veil being draped over them regardless

When I was younger, like when I was 12 - 15, I named my KuroEne AU: Black Effect. It's a cute name and short and sweet but I also love the name "Last Dance at World's End" cuz I looove KuroEne with "Eternal Dance/Waltz" themes/motifs, considering Kuroha/Saeru is the main villain and instigator of the time loop tragedy in KagePro) and Takane/Ene's "Dancer" theme.

Kuroha/Saeru's Pet Names

Quoting this from my previous rambles

Takane's full online gamer name was “Lightning Dancer Ene” or “Dancing Flash Ene” (閃光の舞姫・エネ, Senkou no Maihime - Ene), where Maihime (舞姫) means “Dancer girl.” The name “Ene” comes from “Enomoto Takane”

Dancing Girl (舞姫, Maihime, lit. "Dancing Princess")

So he could take the 姫 (Hime) from 舞姫 (Maihime) and call her "Princess"

Kuroha's pet name for Ene would probably be: 親愛なるウサギちゃん (Shin'ai naru Usagi-chan; "[My] dear/beloved [little] bunny/rabbit")

Because that's the only way I could think of how to translate the pet name, "Dear little bunny/rabbit"

Strawberry and Bougainvillea by Kashii Moimi

Strawberry by Kashii Moimi is so KuroEne core.

Bougainvillea by Kashii Moimi is so KuroEne core.

People were NOT kidding when they said every Kashii Moimi song is Love/Hate romance core with a messy and complicated relationship.

Not every Kashii Moimi song fits KuroEne, but a LOT of Kashii Moimi songs are KuroEne core.

The lyrics are so KuroEne. Oh my god.

It actually fits my KuroEne AU perfectly. Hellooooooo???

When I do, I'll actually screenshot the sections and ramble about my art ideas

Cuz immediately after listening to these songs I started imagining imaginary MVs in my head

I could ramble about it more later but WOW

Bougainvillea (Hanakotoba)

Because of that, I just checked the Hanakotoba page for Bougainvillea

"Passion" (情熱, Jyounetsu)

"You are full of charm; You are filled with charm" (あなたは魅力に満ちている, Anata wa miryoku ni michiteiru)

"I see only you; I see no one else but you" あなたしか見えない (Anata shika mienai)

Yeah I think "Passion" describes KuroEne's relationship in my KuroEne AU well. Especially with their secret trysts/encounters
