ceramics is wreaking havoc on my fragile human form
#em's adventures in the ceramic bowl mines#I walked right into the (heavy; metal) greenware shelving unit yesterday and introduced it to my forehead most painfully#and instead of even getting a cool bruise or other badge of honor all I get is a Spreading Headache Which Will Not Go Away#also my back pain from crouching gremlinously over the wheel and leaning into the kiln has spread to both sides of my back now#and I will not stop picking up very hot bisqueware out of the kiln to prove that I am tough or something#thus not really feeling the most inclined to hike out to the woodkiln to load teabowls into it for hours In The Rain :/#(at least I have stopped slicing my hand open on the wire tools! either I have developed a bit more callus or just better technique)
