not a request but what do you use to make sprite edits? I’m on ibisPaint and I want to be as good as you are! Do you draw the clothes? Or take apart and put back together bases on the sprites?

OK FUN FACT i actually started doing edits on ibis :3 (they wernt that good tho)...

heres one of my first ever sprites i did on ibis of my one trollsonas

i reccomend the digital brush with a smaller canvas to make it get the more pixle effect. i dont use ibis anymore so you might need to fiddle around with it a little more thats just where i started

i actually draw them myself SOMETIMES, my condesce one the body was an unused sprite for her i found on the homestuck assets website here, sometimes i do patchwork the clothes together but sometimes i draw them by hand like these

my march eridan sprite, the legs/shoes are ripped of roses sprite same w the rough shape for the skirt (i just eyeballed it) then the top is drawn by hand

this character from my MSFPA vinco macula, i ripped eridans body from his sprite, erased his cape and scarf, recoloured it all then drew the front bit by hand same w the bit on the front of the shoes

heres a video of a talksprite i made for my msfpa aswell where i pretty much just drew the clothes but it explains what i do better than me saying it in words 💀
