being a person of annoyingly diverse interests is so funny like "oh wow, I definitely would've gone to that guy performing an original lute accompaniment to the 1928 version of the fall of the house of usher if I weren't going to the nutcracker with my mommy :)"

#looks like I'll also miss hundreds of beavers rip #my mom and I used to go to the local version of the nutcracker when I was a kid #we stopped after we moved and money got tight #but we've gone together a couple times now that I'm an adult #we're gonna go see the philly ballet :)#I understand why so many ballet people are resentful toward the nutcracker #but counterpoint:#I like seeing it with my mommy :)#the fun part is that you can go see crowd-pleasers AND annoyingly niche bullshit
