But now let's imagine that this occurs in the infamous third season... Right after Liela returned to class and now the Ladyblog would have a lot of unreliable information. Don't get me wrong, I hate Godfrey, but that would give him a good amount of ammo. And I'm still kind of salty that Alya still hasn't realized Lila is a liar.
Miraculous/DC Crossover: Alya’s Nemesis
Gordon Godfrey of DC/Justice League Animated Series/Young Justice acclaim is taking his anti-superhero sentiment and his “highly rated” show on a world tour.
His current stage is none other than Paris, where he proceeds to tailor his focus to the current heroes present in his sights: Ladybug and Chat Noir.
What are these? Superheroes or misplaced magical girls? What are they doing running around in skintight leather catsuits with magic powers they can’t use properly? If Ladybug’s power is so great, why isn’t she using it to solve world hunger or restore the ozone or something useful instead of undoing the damage caused by what equates to magical temper tantrums? Chat Noir is a danger to society and the world at large! What are these “heroes” doing that they’ve let Hawk Moth terrorize the city for so long? Why do THEY get the magical powers? Why do THEY get to decide who else gets magical powers? Why is Paris being protected by a bug-girl and a cat-boy? What’s with Ladybug’s costume?
Naturally, he starts to cause…problems.
Depending on when this takes place, he highlights the absolute mistake that was Chloe as Queen Bee. Or how the entire “team” that Ladybug and Chat assembled failed hard on Heroes Day. Or how if the heroes can lose a Miraculous, they aren’t fit to guard them. Or how with Ladybug’s “Cure”, they can disregard the harm caused to Paris and even cause more damage.
He just…keeps tearing them down. Demanding they come onto his show to “debate” him. (They don’t.) Demanding they reveal who they are. (They don’t do that either.) Demanding they give up their Miraculous so the city can finally be safe. (Or that.) Trying to show up in the middle of akuma attacks to question and record them. (”Sir, for the love of all things holy, GET OUT OF THE WAY!”)
Ladybug and Chat Noir ignore him. Oh sure, they know he’s there. But they kind of have other things to worry about. Chat knows to ignore those kind of people and Ladybug (while pretty irked by his comments) doesn’t want to risk whatever akuma he could become if they upset him.
This only eggs Gordon on further.
Of course, Paris isn’t America. They are rather protective of their city’s heroes. And no one is more adamantly defending them than Alya Cesaire.
Who does this guy think he IS? Coming to THEIR town and insulting THEIR superheroes?
She starts using the Ladyblog to counter each of Gordon’s rants. She dissects his points, argues them, and pulls up evidence. The Ladyblog gets even more traction because of this. She looks up facts. Goes over records. Even fact checks Gordon’s claims, his biases against the Justice League and heroes in general, and his own history. And this could also give Alya growth as a reporter when she has to learn to deal with someone like Gordon.
Gordon, naturally, knows little about the Ladyblog and blows it off as a simple “teen blog”. Clearly the creator is just a hero fangirl who doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
Eventually, Gordon gains enough notoriety to warrant an invitation to appear on Nadja’s show to discuss his take on Paris’s heroes.
Unfortunately for him, he was only expecting an interview in what turned out to be a debate. And Alya came well equipped.

You know… Every time I read "Akumanette" stories with Adrien saving the day… I can't swallow the plot. Let's say Gabemoth manages to akumatize Marinette, some lie from Lila or Adrien pisses her off, and she becomes an akuma… What chance would he have realistically speaking? In the episode "Ladybug" then I can already see that he would be doomed against her and an army of akuma. As he doesn't know that Marinette is Ladybug, most likely he would be defeated or brought under control believing that she was late because I don't see Marinette rejoicing in having the Miraculous, until it's too late.
