Hogwarts AU feat. Jinhyun [HC] – PH

Hiro’s family is a Pureblood wizarding one that has many talented, bright minds that graced the halls of Hogwarts and the Japanese equivalent school throughout the years. Everyone is pleased that Hogwarts sent him his letter, and while he’s excited to finally learn magic, he’s a bit saddened to leave his Muggle school and friends behind. Because they don’t understand or know about magic, he lies and tells them his mother is shipping him off to boarding school in the UK. (Which is technically not a lie.)

When he is sorted, he is assigned to Hufflepuff. Unfortunately his mom is unhappy about this and tries to send owls to Dumbledore, demanding her son be re-sorted. Hiro gets called into Professor Dumbledore’s office and shares that he didn’t have a preference for the House he got.  “Sir, please let me stay. I’m happy where I am – my mom’s opinion isn’t the same as mine,” he says.

He loves Care of Magical Creatures and many boys were surprised that unicorns like him. The girls even wondered if he charmed the beasts to letting him pet them, but he likes to think that most animals like him. (Soft animal lover boy.)

Other people know him for being a helpful person or for occasionally taking pictures on his funny Muggle Polaroid camera.  “But they don’t move!” one student complained. “I don’t mind that! It’s like capturing the moment and you can’t change it,” Hiro explained. 

“So show me how it works,” one of the Ravenclaw girls asks when they go to the Quidditch field to watch tryouts for all of the Houses.  Hiro brings his Polaroid and shows her how to take pictures, what to do with the picture before it develops, and showing her the end result. They try snapping pictures of the players practicing for fun, the poor Ravenclaw becoming frustrated with her blurry attempts to photograph one player in particular.  “Here, I’ll try,” Hiro offered as he took the camera from her and focused on the player in red robes zipping around the field. He waits a beat before the player jerks his head and moves slightly to avoid a Bludger, clicking his shutter at the right moment.  Once the photo develops, he shares it proudly with the girl.  “You’re good!” she gasps looking at the player with his hair all windblown in the shot. 

But of course some of the players notice that a Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are using an odd Muggle camera to take pics, one pointing the pair out to Gryffindor!Jinhyun.  “No they weren’t using flash,” one player confirms to Jinhyun. “But what is that? I’ve never seen a camera like that before.” “I think it’s an instant camera,” Jinhyun explained. “I never owned one, but Muggles like them because you can take pictures on the spot and they’ll develop quickly. No chemicals needed.” The other player grins and teases that the pair were snapping pics of him.  “Looks like you’ve got some fans Jin.”

Hiro lets the Ravenclaw girl keep the Polaroid he took of Jin, but unbeknownst to him, the Quidditch player approaches her, asking if she took it. Flustered, she apologizes and says it was Hiro. “I asked about his camera because I’ve never seen it before,” she explained. “I’ll get rid of it if you’re uncomfortable.” Jin reassures her it’s fine, curiously looking at the image and smiling. “So, can you introduce me to him?”

“Hiro I’m sorry – he saw the picture and he wants to talk to you!” the Ravenclaw babbles nervously as she runs toward him.  Hiro looks blankly at her as she runs off and looks in the direction she came from to see the very player he photographed for her coming toward him. He believes the student is older than him and quickly begins apologizing with honorifics.  Jin watches the other male amused and is suddenly reminded of a scolded puppy.  “Oh no it’s fine, I was actually going to tell you that you’re really good at this,” Jin replies. “By the way, I think we’re in the same year.”

“Wait so your mom tried to force Dumbledore to re-sort you?” Hiro sighed and nodded. “She was a Ravenclaw and my sister was a Gryffindor. Dad attended the Japanese sister school – forgot his House name, but yeah. She didn’t hate Hufflepuffs, but she kinda thinks we’re the low end of the totem pole.” Jin snorts in disgust and grumbles that Hiro’s mother is being unfair.  “That’s what happens when you have a control freak for a mother,” Hiro sighs. “Join the club...”

Initially his Ravenclaw friend was a little jealous of the attention Hiro got from Jin, but she got over it quickly. She dares him to ask Jin if he’d pose for some pictures. Hiro gets flustered and stammers that he’s never done any sexy or artsy nude shots before. To his embarrassment, Jin overhears him and smirks as he tells the other male he’d love to be his model.  “I have a feeling there is strong, pent-up sexual tension – it would be wise to diffuse it during that time,” she teased him before leaving the pair to talk details. 

Of course both try for these around the holidays. Hiro doesn’t want to go home to Japan and Jin prefers to spend time away from his mom. Plus it’s quiet and the pair can do their shoot without interruption.  Hiro gets invited to the Gryffindor common room and is a bit nervous at first seeing where Jin sleeps. He’s not going to deny he’s admired the tall, fit Gryffindor and likes that they share so much in common, but he’s not ready to ruin a good friendship. 

Puppy is struggling to keep in tongue in his mouth as Jin slips off his sweater vest and pops open some buttons on his school shirt. Jin’s in excellent physical condition and that winter lighting in a room decked with gold and red accents creates a nice backdrop. 

“I wanna see!” “You have to wait JinJin, it’s developing!” Hiro protests as he tries to hold the photo against the black parchment he brought to cover the photo with.  Jin grins as he chases Hiro around, trying to get his hands on the picture. Hiro tries to scramble over the bed with the photo, but gets tangled in Jin’s quilt, scrunched up at the end of the bed. Jin swipes the photo out of his hand, counts down a few seconds in his head, then removes the parchment from the photo. He smiles at the result, showing it to the other boy. 

Then Hiro remembers where he is and he tries to sit up, a bit embarrassed. He already had to tell himself several times not to pop a boner in front of the Gryffindor, as the entire situation was kind of hot.  Jin checks on him and at first worries that Hiro is getting sick.  “You do feel a little warm, but I don’t think it’s a fever,” Jin concludes as he pulls his hand back.  Hiro shakes his head but he knows he’s probably flushed, due to the close proximity of their bodies and faces. 

“Is it...okay if I kiss you?” Jin asks after a pause. Hiro’s eyes go wide and he nods, closing his eyes as the other initiates the kiss.

Jin’s so gentle and Hiro wonders if it’s a dream. His mind starts to wander and oops. Jin definitely feels something down there between Hiro’s pants and he can’t help but smirk.  Hiro’s prepared to apologize for the sudden boner, only to shudder out a moan as Jin palms him through his pants. 

The pair don’t go all the way the first time, but Hiro’s happy and in a blissful state post-orgasm. Bonus points to Jin for cleaning him up and letting him stay for cuddles. 

Yes Hiro blew Jin on Christmas morning. He felt bad that the other boy simply used a cold shower the first time to take care of his problem, and wanted to repay the favor. But Puppy’s got a size kink so he was more than happy to find a good sized member hiding in Jin’s pajama pants. 

“Tension was diffused,” his Ravenclaw friend notes with a wicked smile after the holidays. “I think you two balance each other out beautifully. But I sense you both have quite the drive.” “Oh stop!” “He strikes me as having dominant qualities,” she continued, winking over at Jin, who noticed how red Hiro was turning.  “Yah! Stop it!”

Sex aside, Hiro’s incredibly supportive of his new boyfriend and goes to the games to cheer him on. Always makes sure he stays hydrated after practice as well. 

“Could we get a pet?” “I already have a dog,” Jin replied. “Oh but you didn’t bring him here?” “I meant you.” “Aww JinJin, I’m not a puppy!” (pouts) “You’re my puppy,” Jin clarifies. “Soft, sweet, loyal, and loves cuddling.”
