#papas mistakeria special#bali#indonesia#tw: vent#this is coming from a place of anger but I'm so fucking sick of seeing articles after articles on how tourists are being assholes to locals#opened Twitter and saw two people complaining about how Bali is banning tourists from renting motorcycles#see Bali banned tourists from renting motorcycles because tourists were disrupting locals and thinking they own the place#people need to remember Bali is not just an island paradise escape for you#Bali is an island of people and culture and laws that no one is exempt from#I think we Indonesians. Especially Eastern Indonesians. should normalize just biting their hands#people kept preaching and abusing Bali hospitality. It's about fucking time we show them that we're people too#sad reminder that me and my fellow Eastern Indonesians will never be viewed as equals in the eyes of Americans and Europeans
