Ok but has anyone considered that Hob Gadling was there when playing cards were invented, was clearly crazy about them as the new cool thing at the time, and has essentially had 500 years to get very good at playing?

All I'm saying is: card shark Hob Gadling. If someone doesn't put it in a fic I will.
