TSAMS & LAES Fanfic/Short Story Ideas

So I decided to dump my fanfic ideas here!! Most, if not all, of these particular ones, will be short stories that I'll probably post both here and on A03.

Ruin X Earth AU

I've come to love this ship ever since the whole fiasco with Moon using star power and Ruin protecting her and being concerned for her. I might do a whole writeup on this but I feel like the dynamic would be interesting!

I feel like Ruin would be showing concern for Earth and she'd feel conflicted. She'd probably try to keep brushing him off and force herself to feel angry at him but wouldn't be able to. He'd probably become a bit of a flirt too and she'd find herself falling for him against her will. (Enemies to lovers but not really 'cause Ruin doesn't see her as an enemy so it's one-sided.)

(Also, for angst purposes and ship purposes, Monty might die in this story.)

Eclipse's Intervention AU

Basically, an AU where Earth sits Eclipse the hell down when he's in constant pain and is dying and is stern with him and sorta forces him to rest and do her best to help him recover. It's one of the less angstier stories in my roster and more focused on a fluffy build-up of Earth and Eclipse's friendship.

Ruin's First Kill

This would just be a story of what I think Ruin felt when he had to make his first kill under his deranged persona.

Sun's Intervention AU

Basically, Sun truly turns to alcohol in this AU and needs an intervention from someone. Probably would during the current events that are going on right now. Maybe an x reader fic. Maybe platonic with someone else in the show, like maybe even Earth or Lunar. Maybe have that freaky Miku do it because Sun would honestly be embarrassed if she was right all along and it'd be a wake-up call for sure XD

Evil "Princess" Earth AU

No, this fic wouldn't be about the "Evil Earth" we saw in one episode. This Earth would definitely be more evil when compared to her (as that Earth was supposed to be as evil as an Earth could get...but this is a rant for another post)! Instead, this would be a story about Earth truly becoming evil. It would take place after Solar's death and would involve Eclipse as well.

Earth would become evil for one reason or another (I haven't decided which event would cause it) and Eclipse, who has grown to care for her, would become extremely loyal in this story and would be her "knight", so to speak, and an executioner of sorts. He would do anything for her here...even kill if he had to.

Bonus Possibility: Ruin X His Roxanne

This would be a fanfic about my theory where he got with his Roxy in his own universe and lost her due to the Creator. I still like the thought of this being a tragic love tale. Might merge this with his First Kill story? Not sure. Iffy on writing anything too detailed about his past because I wanna know more about it before making shipping fanfics. Just for curiosity reasons. (And to not get my hopes up lol).

5: first headcanon that pops into my head:

HHH all my old old hcs about nurse navis being originally created to be disposable / meant to be like tools (in the company/hospital that created meddy) cause hospitals needed a lot of them and they would be assisting different patients all the time. so they were programmed to fulfill their purpose only: that their patients were their priority (yet without attachment bc caring too much for patients would "get in the way of their work", as they would die or leave eventually), they had to always obey doctors etc. and if for whatever reason they were unable to fulfill their duty or were considered to become defective they were quickly discarded and replaced by another. so their emotions were kept very in check.

meddy's creator was a kind doctor that considered meddy like a daughter, and who couldn't help being attached to the navis he made. but he worked for that company so after they were done making navis, they were sent off to hospitals, so he and meddy never met again. but his hope was that meddy would meet someone that cared for her, just as he had, and that she could care for them too; that she could understand what he meant when he spoke of love.

this hc is a mix of anime/game verse cause in the anime we see meddy with a previous appearance

from when she was jasmine friend's navi (who i called Mei); so my hc is that she used to be a nurse navi at a hospital, but got assigned to mei as a personal nurse navi. and mei considered meddy a friend from the start, didn't treat her like a tool, and meddy inevitably came to care for her, and experienced loss for the first time when she died. she felt that without her, her purpose also died, because she couldn't bear going back to working at the hospital and caring for another patient and potentially watch them die; and the moment she refused, she'd be deleted, and another would take her place.

but then mei's mom gave her to jasmine, and in their mutual grief over the loss of their friend they decided to stick together; and jasmine encouraged meddy to find a new purpose, a dream of her own :'')

(oop i rambled, maybe someday i should revisit these ideas and brainstom again...)

a/n: i picked a student from class 1a, but i couldn't picture aizawa helping a student out with a period even tho i wrote works with him doing period care? i picked midnight coz she's a woman. it'd be a little less weird lol. i have a hc that sero is a trans boi so i picked him.. i hope that isn't an issue. anyway i love the reqs i get, very supportive <3 hope ya like this one!

i feel like midnight is the kind of teacher to have a drawer with lots of feminine products in her classroom, in case anybody needed it!

Doing some meta pondering on character arcs for future chapters of "Open Your Eyes and It Will Blind You" (x) while waiting for the dye to set in my hair at the salon.

(I find I feel weirdly embarrassed talking about this fic; the fact that Jaheira/Rasaad did not exist at ALL on AO3 as a pairing threw me for a loop and has convinced my brain that I am being Self-Indulgent and Weird despite the fact that literally all fic is Self-Indulgent and Weird and that is why we love it. XD So I am trying to push myself past that and allow myself to be excited about the thing regardless. #personalgrowth That said, this really is just me thinking out loud so feel free to ignore, lol.)

As I said to Springy when she was helping me beta the first chapter - one of the big challenges I'm encountering with this fic is that I think Jaheira and Rasaad would be good being together post-BG2, but writing/plotting them getting together is a little like pulling teeth - they are both people with very strong emotions who have lost much, but they are also both reserved as hell about actually sharing/showing/indulging those feelings visibly.

I have spent a considerable amount of time studying the romance dialogue both of them have with the PC in BG2, but it was no help because BOTH of them have a romance arc centered around the question "Oh gods, what am I doing, what if this is a mistake" and all of the conversations are "[has a feeling] [immediately backpedals]" until the PC basically has to whack them upside the head with their intentions. And Khalid says in Siege of Dragonspear that his original courtship of Jaheira back in the Harpers consisted of him slamming through a hospital door and pouring his heart out to her while she was injured and couldn't hide from the Feels, and it turned out she'd already been sitting on the same feelings for months. XD

So - the question becomes how two people who are BOTH that reticent about their emotions manage to get past it and reach an understanding.

My intention is that the next chapter will make clear that the feelings are there (probably helped on by some Avariel wine at Quayle's birthday party), which will spook both of them, with Rasaad's response being "time to run back to Calimshan, face the music, and die" (kicking off the actual plot as the squad demands to come along with him), because healthy coping mechanisms are a foreign concept in Faerun.

So they will both be sitting with that awareness from pretty early in the story, hopefully leaning into one of my favorite tropes: "The feelings are actually requited, they're both just dumbasses." But as for the actual incident that pushes them to acknowledge those feelings...hm.

Fundamentally, I see both of their character arcs in this story, even before the romance, as being about looking forward vs looking back. Jaheira feels stagnated with no battles left to fight and Rasaad is trapped by his regret over what the monks half a world a way think of him. Ultimately Rasaad's epiphany in going back to Calimshan is not that he is forgiven by the monks there (for something he didn't even do), but realizing that he does not need their approval because he has grown beyond who he was when he lived there and has people who truly care about him and know him. Jaheira's is a little more nebulous, but I see it as building off of Caden's comment in the first chapter that sometimes simply living is enough - that a grand purpose is not always required to live a worthwhile life (this is a topic I've been thinking about a lot in the context of my own life lately and feels like a worthwhile theme to explore).

(Obviously Jaheira is eventually going to get drawn back to Baldur's Gate and a life of purpose in the war against the Absolute, and based on her BG3 dialogue it's clear that she's regressed a bit in this regard from any progress she might make with Rasaad. XD But I don't think that negates the possibility of her being able to have some happiness for a while.)

However... I think I want any romance development to be independent of these epiphanies, because "I have realized I have something to live for because you exist" is a perfectly satisfying trope but feels like a lessening of these characters in this scenario. "I have realized I have life ahead of me, and consequently but unrelatedly am opening myself to you" has more appropriate depth, I think.

Honestly, there are two existing moments in BG2 that feel like they might make sense to build from that I might end up adapting into the fic...

First is a moment from Jaheira's in-game romance. She wakes from a dream where Khalid was watching her but she was unable to reach him; the PC can comment that perhaps Khalid is happy to see that she still has people to travel with and isn't alone, and she says something to the effect of "it wasnt the whole group, it was just you and me. But I think you may be right." It's actually a really sweet little moment, one of the more emotionally resonant bits of the romance line.

The other moment is a bit of banter between Rasaad and Aerie if neither of them are romanced. They're chatting and she makes some subtle comments about wanting to spend more time with him, and it goes completely over his head. The PC then had the chance to chime in and tease him about missing her signals. ("you have no idea what's going on here, do you"). Given the characters involved in this fic, it might make sense for Caden to get involved in playing matchmaker a bit in the late story after the feelings have been stewing for a while.

Anyway... again, mostly thinking out loud but I want to make sure my thoughts are in order. I'm not used to writing multi-chapter fics and it's a very unique challenge trying to make sure the emotional through-line is set up at the beginning and carries through to the end.

Hi anon, we always accept new questions ^^ We thought that to make it a bit more fun... Why don't we show you some proposals of clothes that we would put on the characters? Unfortunately we don't have all the time to make all the costumes that we would put on them but here are our proposals.

Joe: She's definitely the most stylish, even though she's been in uniform for a long time. She'd be willing to be dressed by Jordan, but more importantly, she'd be eager to dress Jordan. You will never see her in tracksuits or very casual clothes. She likes very feminine clothes in soft colours. She adapts well to the circumstances, going from a more romantic style to a very classic and elegant one or a fun and very risky one.

Hasiel: He looks old-fashioned and out of step with the times, what would best define his style is dark academia or what would be understood in this century as dark academia. Full of jumpers, classic trousers and shirts. He would probably accept Jordan's choice of clothes, but if he strayed too far from his own tastes, he would probably complain.

Arael: She likes pastel colours, straight figures and trousers rather than skirts or dresses. All her clothes are full of colour and look very comfortable. Perhaps a bit girlish for some, but Arael is not pressured by standards. She would definitely let Jordan dress her. It would be a new experience and she loves to experience new sensations.

Kyeran: His style is a mix of bohemian with ethnic touches. A lot of his clothes are recycled or second-hand, although he never intended to have a deliberately vintage aesthetic. He wears things until they break and doesn't see himself as closed to gender standards either, so you might see him in a skirt or other feminine pieces. He would also let Jordan dress him and treasure the clothes they give him.

Maske: Their aesthetic is very much defined within darkware. They don't wear colours outside of black, grey and dark blue except for gold when wearing formal wear or in spotlights and the like. They wear a lot of clothes on top of each other, creating a lot of layers. Although they usually only wear tracksuits, they might have quite interesting taste if they weren't so afraid to show their bodies. Jordan could convince them to try something on, but probably not to buy it.

Akane: She doesn't think too much about her appearance, her everyday clothes are actually work clothes, as she doesn't do much else at some point her casual clothes were completely replaced by overalls and canvas clothes. As she loves sports, she has a lot of sports equipment. Although, maybe Jordan could convince her to wear something more interesting… She loves asymmetrical T-shirts, green, red and orange and she doesn't dislike skirts, but she prefers trouser skirts. She would accept to be dressed by Jordan, but with some things, she would die of embarrassment.

Pin: He wears oversize clothes, very youthful and with references to popular culture. It is quite clear that his favourite colour is red. All his clothes are very comfortable. On the other hand, Rubi has more serious and simpler clothes. He always says she would choose more daring things but with Pin's body they don't suit him. Pin would love to be dressed by Jordan and would be very curious to know what they would choose for him.

Zihel: Zihel's clothing straddles the line between grunge and military aesthetics, though none of it was premeditated. Almost all of his current clothes are Hasiel's clothes in a state of extreme disrepair. Partly intentional, partly through neglect. The formal wear was chosen by Valefar so that he doesn't make a fool of himself. Zihel has no problem trying on clothes Jordan tells him to, though if he's having a bad day he'd probably refuse just because he's in a bad mood.

Ariel: Any facet of rock suits Ariel and he has probably worn it at one time or another. He likes aggressive, dramatic clothes that are very striking and allow him to show off. If he's not the centre of attention, there's something he's not doing right. We felt like adding an alternative version. Although we have already warned you that Ariel wouldn't have been very happy being an angel… He would love to play dress-up with Jordan, especially if it would make Jordan look naked. He'd probably try to turn it into a sex game.

AAAH This has been sitting in my inbox for far too long. I have more headcanons than opinions (if there's a distinction? I guess?) but I'm happy to share some of them with you!

It would depend on where you insert Rose into later canon, but she would initially be hesitant about River. Fortunately, River is an outrageous flirt and wouldn't care that Rose used to have something with the Doctor, so I think they'd get over that hurdle pretty quickly.

Doctor/Rose/River is great (I love polycules ok) but I really really just love some RiverRose. Like yeah the Doctor gets to flirt with everyone on the universe with no repercussions so I'd be really really funny if two women that he's been married to like. Married each other and did gay things.

Also not to be bitter af, but River literally deserved so so much better than a man who is embarrassed by the fact that she'd do anything to save him. Like call me super uber gay, but if a woman with that hair told me she'd destroy the entire universe for me? I simply would choose to be in love with her forever and ever and ever and ACTUALLY SAY IT OUT LOUD TO HER.

So anyway long story short, RiverRose works because you have two women who are ride or die for love AND incredibly sexy AND in possession of wild bisexual energy. They deserve each other more than the Doctor deserves them and I think they should get gay married.

RiverRose is JackRose 2.0 but better (only better bc I'm in love with Alex Kingston and Billie Piper).

Melody Pond (Pre Alex Kingston River?) x Dimension Hopping! Rose also live rent free in my head every single day.

Side note: Rose would get along with River's family really well too. She and Rory would be best friends change my mind and I think she and Amy would have fun teaming up.

I assume there wouldn't be a real action taken right now? Instead, Aaliyah just...turns her head back towards the sky, silently. "I kind of mean it, Kysme. Why haven't you kissed me yet?" And there was silence, or at least a certain type of white noise in which you know somebody is talking, but the words fall on deaf ears. (I imagine Kysme replies dumbly, "What do you mean", or a variation of that)

" Actually, no, I have a better question- do you think there could ever be anything between us? I don't mean anything casual or like friends with benefits sort of shit. Could you see us being more than friends, the meaningful way?" No white noise, only silence. Aaliyah probably huffs, her face feeling kind of hot on account of being embarrassed. She shouldn't have brought this up, but oh well, it's already up. She might as well continue. So she does. "You don't gotta lie to me or anything, coddle my feelings or some shit. I just wanna know! And I'm not trying to force anything on you, because I don't really know how I feel about you either. I know that I care about you at least, and sometimes i mix feelings up within myself. I just want things to be clear. So..." She'd blow a strand of hair out of her face with a sigh. "Yeah."

There, she said it. Now all she has to do is wait.(edited)

And that's when things got unclear because how the fuck am i supposed to figure out meaningful dialogue for kysme by myself-

In that brief moment his tough guy persona slips aside, and you can see his own insecurity of losing things he cares about and his fears of being emotional.

Maybe, for once, his voice sounds gentle.

Kysme is fully aware of how shitty he can be. Sometimes he can't help it. In a way, he doesn't want to be the one who hurts her.

Would he be able to forgive himself for such a thing.

Not a general, safe, 'everyone is worth it', or a shrug and wishy-washy kind of deliverance. It would be said with a quiet kind of conviction, like she actually means it. Because she does. And she smiles a bit at that, fondly. "Trust me, Kysme. I've been through the ringer a couple times with this kind of shit. Fucking up comes with the playing field- don't be so hard on yourself."

And I can see her doing something sweet, like reaching out and grabbing a hold of kysme's hand, gently so. Something to know that she's there, that she hears him. "But someone else's words probably mean nothing when your mind is convinced. Maybe you have to convince yourself that youre worth it, yeah?" She'd sigh, still her hand on top of his, a comfortable sort of silence.

There's gonna be a pause as he relishes the sensation of her hands on his. You know with how often he takes her hand jokingly to stare at its glistening surface, it's probably the first time she held his hand of her own accord. He'd bite his lip, say something like "I'll work on it." Another moment. Then, a careful movement as to not crush the arm that was previously holding his hand, he rolls over to lie on his side, closer to her, propping himself up on one elbow. There's this intense look in his candy colored eyes as he gazes down upon her face, and this time he doesn't hide it (recap-- the time he'd get distracted looking at her while she talks about movies). He's just taking it all in, up close, straightforwardly. "...But we can change one thing first." He says, referring to the earlier question of why he hasn't kissed her yet. And---

Pt. 2--- Hypothetically speaking, if they do indeed get together, I feel nothing too much will change about their dynamics? They still have their silly banters and teasing, but finally they're not repressing their feelings so it feels more..liberating? To show some act of affection.

Is she going to feel bothered by his habit of occasionally sleeping with strangers (seeing her past with another pretty boy cough cough)? Cause I think the amount of times he fools around will dwindle if he's in a relationship but habits/hobbies die hard...He would try to be transparent about the matter though.

Oh gosh, your respond to the HC kind of like, feels like the perfect end already, but I will add on one thing to it- the idea of Aaliyah's heart thumping faster and faster as she realizes what exactly kysme is about to do. A loud thump, thump, thump pounding against her ears. Her eyes growing wider and her heart jumping at her throat, because holy shit...is he really gonna do it? Is he really going to do it? and when he does do it, its like something clicks in place with her head. Something nice and tender and a little scary. She'd close her eyes and sink into the kiss almost immediately, moving her hands up to cup his cheeks and hoping to god that that burning sensation comes soon- it would be safe to assume that she herself has been guilty of wondering how it would feel on her lips, sue her. Like...they didn't need much to shift at all- theyve always been pretty comfy with each other and to the outside viewer it probably doesnt look like anything at all has changed unless they spot some nuances (like couch hand holding, aaliyah not complaining when the guy touches her, even if he grabs her by the waist or something, her sitting on his lap while watching a movie, etc) It just kind of...comes naturally.
