'Chris likes girls who don't like him back'
Tumblr media
Late night streaming with your best friends turns to a conversation about the boys' type, and Chris gets called out
vibe check: flirty fluffy fun, 3/4 of my favourite f words
1.4k words
A/N: i had this idea literally straight away after what Matt said about Chris' type.........the idea of being Chris' best friend that he openly fancies but you're 'not interested' makes MY TOES CURL BRO LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING anyway I hope you love this. PART TWO IS HERE
love and cigs, merc
Tumblr media
"Matt he's right there what the fuck are you doing?!" you scream down the mic, nearly throwing your controller across the room as you jolt back in your chair.
You watch as Matt gets sniped in the head from the back, laughing as he wails on this desk, making the whole stream glitch and nearly crash. Chris is laughing along with you, trying not to make it obvious that he's watching you, and not Matt.
"Matt, bro you need to fuckin' up your game, y/n/n is actually carrying us right now." Chris says as Matt picks his chair up off the floor and sits back down in a huff.
"I always carry when I come on with you boys" you smirk, looking at the tiny square of Chris on your screen.
"yeah because you're a little sweat" Matt chuckles.
The boys had been streaming everyday for over a week now and, after some convincing, they managed to get you to join in on one of their games. At first you were apprehensive, obviously, but they explained that they were trying to diversify their platform and find a more mature audience so, actually interacting with girls on the internet was their first step.
You and the boys had been friends for forever, you met them through Nick in elementary school and had basically all been inseparable ever since, you'd been in some earlier videos but the fans back then made it very difficult to just exist around them so, you took it upon yourself to only exist in their real life, not their online one.
Cut to right now, you're nearly two hours deep in fortnite trios with the boys on stream, everyone was super excited to see you when they announced that they'd be joining and, other than a couple comments that you all ignored, it was going really well.
"Matt, someone asked what our types are" Chris laughed, reading the chat.
"I'm not answering that" Matt dead panned, screwing his face up at the camera
"I can answer it for you both, for sure" you chuckle, "chat do you want me to answer it?"
"yes, yes, yes, yes, omg yes" Chris was reeling off the answers in chat, "everyone wants y/n/n to answer, Matt should we let her?" Chris asked.
Matt rolled his eyes with a smile, "g'head, y/n/n, expose us" He chuckled.
"okay, so" you said, in your best girly gossip voice, "Matt likes nerdy, reader, soft girls" you begin to explain, your train of thought is interrupted by Chris erupting into laughter.
"dude she's so right! you love a girl that looks like she's always buried in a book" Chris wails.
"what are you guys even saying?" Matt complains, the smile etched across his face giving his tone a lot less power.
"you definitely want a girl who will go on a hike with you or some shit, Matt" You say, enjoying this whole interaction a bit too much.
Chris was keeled over in laughter, loving finally being able to talk about this kind of stuff on the internet without everyone going insane.
"I dunno why you're laughing so much, Chris, you're next" Matt states, Chris shrugs in reply.
"i don't give a fuck, call me out y/n/n, gimme the best you got" Chris sits back in his chair, arms folded over his chest.
"hmmmm" you say, exaggerating your thinking, "what is the famous Christopher Sturniolos type" you rub your chin, pretending to be thinking deeply.
A knowing smirk is spread wide across Chris' face as he stares at your face on his screen, tongue prodding the side of his cheek.
"I know Chris' type" Matt adds, a menacing smile on his face.
"g'head matt, you take this one" you gesture to the boy on your screen.
"Chris likes girls who don't like him back" Matts brows raise in accusation towards Chris.
You try and hide the smile forming on your face, attempting to look as focused on the game as possible as your tongue prods at your teeth. Neither of the boys say anything, both of them cheesing, Matt in a teasing and knowing kind of way and Chris more so in a 'I cant say what I wanna say' kind of way.
"damn, Matt, you just called me the fuck out" Chris shakes his head, looking to the tiny version of you on his screen.
You're still quiet, trying to fight the smile on your face and look as focused as possible, you catch Chris looking as if he's looking at you on his screen and shake your head with a chuckle.
"what you grinnin' at, kid?" Chris smirks.
You raise your brows, shaking your head with a downwards smile, "no, nothin', nothin" you say, returning your focus back to the game.
All of the viewers watched the interaction and were blowing up the chat with comments about how Chris definitely likes you, saying things like 'did you guys see that?!', and 'think they're slick look at how they're both smiling!!!!!'. Chris was reading the comments and trying to hide the red blush crawling its way onto his cheeks, Matt was relishing in the fact that Chris was so obviously nervous, and you were just trying not to react.
"Chris, dude, you better wipe that smile off your face, chat's onto you" Matt pokes the bear.
"chat ain't onto shit, Matt, shut the fuck up" Chris says, trying to be serious but unable to push his smile down.
"you know i'm right though, you do like girls who don't want you" Matt pushed on with his joke.
"Matt, shut your fuckin' mouth, dude" Chris rolled his eyes and shook his head, his smile still prevalent.
You couldn't help but laugh, still pretending to not care about the situation unfolding. In hindsight, it probably made it all the more obvious that you knew exactly what Matt was referring to.
"you're awful quiet, y/n/n, you got nothing to say on Chris' type?" Matt extends his joke over to you and your attention is immediately on him.
"nah, you hit the nail on the head, I think" you shrug, stretching back in your chair and adjusting your headset.
"oh really?" Chris replies, brows raised in accusation.
"mhm" you nod, faux innocently.
Chris kisses his teeth, nodding and trying to hide the smile on his face once again.
"yeah, chat, Matts right, I like pretty girls, who don't like me back" Chris says, subtly turning his attention to you and then back to chat.
You roll your eyes with a smile, leaning forward once more to lock into the game.
"you're ridiculous, Chris" Matt chuckles into the mic, watching you shift in your seat, trying not to blush.
The rest of the game went off without a hitch, you guys went on to win multiple times and all the viewers eventually stopped trying to get the conversation back to Chris' obvious crush on you. You played until the early hours of the morning, joking and laughing with the boys' just like old times and relishing in the fact that you were finally able to be a part of their online presence again. When it hit around three a.m you told them you had to sign off, explaining that you had to be up early for college that morning.
"guys, I gotta go, but I'll text you when I wake up" you said, pulling off your headset, and brushing your hair back with your hand.
"alright, y/n/n, thanks for helping us bury kids, its always a treat" Matt grinned at you, shooting you his token boyish smile.
"you know I live to humble kids on fort, Matt" You shrugged, putting on your best boyish persona, earning a laugh from Matt
"okay seriously, I gotta go, bye chat!" you smile, "bye boys" you go to switch off your computer but you're stopped by Chris booming voice.
"bye, beautiful" he says, a cheesy grin on his face.
your eyes roll to the back of your head as an uncontrollable smile finds your lips, "bye, Chris" you reply, switching off your computer.
The whole chat erupts with people losing their minds over Chris calling you beautiful, the boys say nothing, Matt just shakes his head, laughing at the chat as he watches Chris, grinning with pride and completely unashamed of his very obvious crush on you.

Thinking of nanny!reader x daddy!price once again... You really ate there, damn

oh ms. messy... wonder what she's been up to...
Tumblr media
"fuckin' call me messy," you grumble under your breath, the pre-wetted wipe in your hands going dry with overuse. emily squirms, her chubby little cheek gone red with the attention.
"not s'ppose'ta say tha'word." face squished in your hand as it is, the accusation comes out too muffled to hold her usual attitude. like this, she's almost cute. or would be, if not for the garish colors still staining her eyelids.
"and you're not supposed to use markers like makeup, but here we are."
she rolls her eyes, the brat, smudgy purple lines fading up into her eyebrows raising with the effort, as if everything in her tiny little body was put into the motion. "wha'ss'a diffr'nce anyway?"
"well for one, makeup comes off with makeup wipes," you snark, tossing another stained towelette into the bin, tie-dye collection starting to overflow. "for another i don't think 'bluetiful' is really your color."
"blue is a primary color," she informs you, apropos of nothing, as if that should explain why she'd tried using it as as a highlighter.
you pause in your endeavor, the bright red 'blush' on her cheek bleeding down the crease of her nose. "that is true," you agree sagely, and then damn near jump out of your skin when a gruff voice behind you asks if she knows her other primaries.
emily lists off a good fourteen colors - far too many from your understanding, though it had been a long time since you were in preschool; maybe they'd added some. you used the time to check yourself out in the bathroom mirror covertly, though you catch him catching you, eyes meeting somewhere around the fourth shade of yellow. "mr. price," you greet him casually, voice too meek in your effort not to interrupt emily's learning.
he doesn't even nod, eyes heavy on you as he lets his daughter prattle off every shade of the crayolla box she'd become overly familiar with. you'd say he's getting worse but he's always been like this - too intense, too direct - and saying as much felt like a jinx, like a dare to the universe at large to make him, impossibly, more driven. "ms. messy," he drawls quietly, the title a low purr as he lets his eyes drag over you. you'd worn shorts today, confident and cheeky in the privacy of your room. he always managed to wrangle that control from you this easily, with barely more than a pointed look that set you back to basics, suddenly remembering the game you're playing. who with.
attempting to save face, you turn back to emily and whisper to her, thick as thieves. "coulda told me he was right behind me. now i look bad, not using this as a teaching opportunity."
emily tells you it's actually your job to know when her dad's home because she's a little shit, but you barely hear it because john takes that opportunity to assure you you don't look bad, doubles down when he sees how flustered he's made you. "emily, doesn't ms. messy look nice?"
and maybe there is a reason you keep coming back for more (other than her hot father and his seemingly bottomless pocket) because she just nods animatedly, sloppy bun you'd piled her hair into bobbing. you start to murmur your thanks, but she ruins the moment just as suddenly as she'd started it, motioning to her colorful face and proudly announcing she'd been trying to look like you.
"oh," you hedge, unsure how you feel about a child thinking drunk drag makeup was the key to stealing your look.
john, thankfully, comes to your rescue. "oh, munchkin. you know ms. messy doesn't need all that to look pretty."
well, maybe 'thankfully' was a strong word. "and neither do you. you're pretty just the way you are," you assert, trying to steer the conversation into something more manageable just as you steer the girl before you back your way, tilting her head so you can get a particularly well saturated bit on her brow.
"prettier than you?" she asks, cheeky, and you roll your eyes much like she had, far too exaggeratedly. let her dad have fun with that bad habit.
"well of course!"
she giggles, turns to face her father as best she can when you've got her whole jaw cupped in your hand. "daddy, am i prettier than ms. messy?"
you don't think he's mean enough to give his kid a complex in the name of flirting with someone half his age, but your breath catches anyway, waiting in anticipation as he lets the moment drag on.
surely your heart's racing because you want him to say no. right?
"now that you mention it, ms. messy sure could use some sprucing up, hm?" you scoff and flick the dirty towelette at him and huff when he catches it easily, palm completely engulfing it without even really trying. he's unbearably smug when he continues, whiskers practically twitching with a barely contained grin. "what do you think, munchkin? a pretty necklace? a bracelet?"
unfortunately, he looks perfectly serious. "maybe a ring?"
if emily responds, you don't hear it, too busy side eyeing him, trying to figure out how serious he is. if you get tipped with a tennis necklace next time you watch his kid, you might just drop out of school.

How about a lovie angst where harrison kinda breaks alessias teust and does somerhing she wouldnt approve of? x
fractured | alessia russo x child!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
grumpy masterlist
alessia had always been cautious when it came to harrison, she was still a little wary. but she had no choice but to co-parent with him now that you knew about him and you wanted have your dad apart of your life.
but trusting him was still the main reason why alessia was wary as he hadn't fully earned that badge yet.
alessia was sitting on the couch, unwinding after training. you'd having been with harrison since yesterday afternoon when he’d picked you up from nursery. it being his night, for you to stay at his for the night.
something alessia was still trying her best to get used to.
it still being early days since harrison was able to have you for long periods of time without alessia being present and she'd be lying if she said she didn't have a heavy heart every time you weren't with her.
but so far harrison had been trying really hard to not mess up and it did make alessia happy to see but he still had a long way to go until she trusted him fully.
alessia being just  about to move from the comfort of her couch and make herself some dinner before you got home a little later on, her phone buzzed.
glancing quickly at it, expecting it to be from one of the girls maybe making plans for after the game but the second she glanced at the name and saw harrison's name flash across the screen, her stomach dropped slightly.
harrison | ‘less, can you call me. please.’
her heart thudded against her ribs just that little bit faster as she sat up straighter, her fingers tightening around the phone.
harrison | ‘i don't think it's a big deal but i feel i should probably let you know’
that alone was enough. his uncertainty in her voice was enough to send a sharp bolt of unease through her entire body.
harrison | ‘she's fine, i swear. we’ve had a great day. just need to talk to you. maybe face to face is better.’
a shiver ran through her entire body. she's fine. no, no he wouldn't be saying that unless there was something to not be fine about.
alessia didn't hesitate, shooting up from the couch grabbing her keys with shaking hands. kyra who had been lounging on the opposite end of the couch, immediately sitting up her brows furrowing, "less, what's wrong?"
alessia didn't even stop to explain, too busy shoving her feet into her runners, "harrison, that's what wrong."
kyra was up in an instant, already grabbing her own jacket, "right, let's go."
the drive to harrison's apartment was suffocating, alessia driving in silence, jaw clenched as her fingers tapped against the steering wheel impatiently. kyra knowing better than to try and lighten the mood with a joke, so she just sat tight lipped.
"you want me to come in with you?" she asked when they pulled up outside harrison's place.
alessia shook her head firmly, "no, i'll be okay." kyra hesitated before nodding, "i'll wait here, just in case you need backup"
alessia didn't bother responding—she was already halfway out of the car.
harrison barely had time to even register who it was at the door before alessia was shoving past him into the flat, her eyes scanning the room frantically.
you were curled up on the couch, your tiny frame being swallowed by a hoodie that was far too big for you. your hair all tangled and your face puffy from exhaustion but other than that you were unharmed.
alessia let out a shaky breath, just enough to stop her heart from hammering out of her chest, but relief was short-lived.
"mummy?" your voice was small, groggy as you looked up at alessia as she forced a smile moving to crouch down in front of you. "hey lovie, you okay?"
you nodded, rubbing at your eyes. "daddy let me stay up really, really late! we watched loads of movies, and then we went to see uncle jamie!"
silence. the kind that made alessia's blood run cold. jamie. well he was just not the type of person you wanted around your kids. he wasn't to be trusted.
alessia remembers the first time she met him, back in the states the boy staring an argument with a harmless stranger cause in his eyes he looked at jamie funny. alessia didn't like him, and she certainly didn't want her daughter around him and his activities.
harrison shifted behind her, clearing his throat. "less—" alessia stood slowly, turning to face him. "you what?"
harrison had the audacity to look sheepish, rubbing the back of his neck. "we went to see jamie, i didn't think it would be a big deal."
"not a big deal?" alessia repeated, her voice shaking with barely contained rage. "you took our daughter to see your brother—without asking me?"
harrion sighed, exasperated he could see just why alessia was so upset about it. "less, he's my family."
alessia let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head. "family? you mean the same brother who's been arrested more times than i can count? the same one who drinks himself stupid and picks fights for fun? that jamie?"
"he's not like that around kids," harrison argued, but even he didn't sound too convinced.
"you don't know that, you don't know how he's gonna be from hour to hour." alessia snapped. "because you don't know him anymore. and you sure as hell don't get to use our daughter as some kind of excuse for a bonding experience with him."
harrison's jaw clenched. "she is my daughter too, alessia."
"then start acting like it!" alessia's voice cracked, her hands shaking, alessia seeing nothing but anger. "because a real father doesn't make reckless decisions and then text me after the fact like it's nothing. a real father thinks before he acts. a real father asks before putting his child in a situation that could be dangerous."
harrison exhaled heavily, his hands moving to his hips. "ok, i made a mistake, alright. but nothing happened. she's fine, she's happy."
"that's not the point haz!" alessia's voice broke, and for a second, the anger slipped, replaced by something far more painful. "you just don't get it, do you? you weren't there. you weren't there when i was pregnant, when i was terrified and alone. you weren't there when i held her for the first time and promised to keep her safe. you left, harrison. and now you think you can just walk back in and do whatever you want? like none of that ever even happened?"
harrison's face paled, his mouth opening, but no words came out. the past truly starting to catch up on him, quicker than he could imagine as he'd spent years trying to get rid of it.
"you haven't earned my trust," alessia continued, quieter this time, but no less sharp in the way she spoke. "and you sure as hell haven't earned the right to make decisions for her on your own. not without consulting me beforehand"
you watched them with wide eyes from the couch, your little fingers gripping the fabric of the hoodie as you tried so hard to concentrate on the film on the screen. alessia swallowing hard, forcing herself to pull it together.
she turned back to you, kneeling down again. "lovie, go and grab your things, okay? i think it's time to go home."
you hesitated, glancing at your daddy before nodding. "okay, mummy." you slid off the couch and padded towards your bag, your small frame weighed down by exhaustion.
alessia turned back to harrison, her voice dangerously low. "if you ever, ever do something like this again, i swear to god, you will not be seeing her without me there. do you understand me?"
harrison nodded slowly, guilt flashing across his face. "loud and clear."
you returned with your tiny backpack slung over your shoulders, your stuffed esme the elephant clutched tightly in your arms as you looked up at your daddy with tired eyes. "bye, daddy. i love you."
harrison's expression softened instantly just at the innocence of your words. he crouched down, opening his arms. "come here, little one."
alessia's body tensed. she wanted to tell you no. she wanted to scoop you up and walk out without looking back. but she knew that would only hurt you more, and no matter how angry she was at harrison, she couldn't do that to their daughter. so instead with a deep breath, she gave a small nod.
you didn't hesitate, stepping into your daddy's arms. harrison holding you tightly as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head. his eyes shut, as his grip lingered just a second too long, like he was afraid to let go.
"i love you, princess," he murmured against your curls. "you'll always be my little girl, okay?"
you pulled back slightly, your tiny hands resting on his shoulders. "promise?"
harrison swallowed hard, nodding. "promise."
alessia looked away, biting the inside of her cheek. because promises weren't something harrion had ever been good at keeping. but for your sake, she hoped—just this once—he meant it.

Tears V
Alexia Putellas x Baby!Reader
Summary: Your birth comes with a lot of complications
TW: *birth complications, premature birth*
Tumblr media
It's kind of difficult to do a lot of things with a baby bump.
Alexia hadn't ever thought of it like that before.
Her back aches as she wakes up. Her ankles have swelled. She's craving weird things and waking up in the middle of the night, ready to call her Mami and get her to go to the shop to pick up whatever Alexia feels like she needs.
It had been a difficult choice to make, to put her career on pause to have a baby.
The idea had come out of nowhere, an errant thought that just grew bigger and bigger out of nowhere until it was all Alexia could think about.
A baby.
A little baby.
That's what Alexia focused on now as her eyes flutter open and she rolls over in bed.
For a moment, all is calm and Alexia can listen to the soft chirping of the birds.
In the next moment though, she muffles a scream with her fist.
There's pain in her lower belly and blood all over her sheets.
It's a bit of a blur after that.
There's definitely a call to someone. An ambulance as well but Alexia can barely tell what happened first or even how long it took to get there.
She's in and out, in a lot of pain but completely unaware of what's going on around her.
There's a pressure of a hand in her own as she finally comes to, eyes fluttering open but there's no birds to greet her this time.
Just the steady beeping of a heart monitor and the soft noise of a tv playing.
"Ma-Mami? What...What's going on?"
Eli pushes the hair out of Alexia's face, lips pursed as she pulls her chair closer.
"Ale, sweetheart..."
Alexia looks around, taking in surroundings. She's definitely in a hospital, that much is clear but her head is still fuzzy and not quite fully there.
"Mami, you're scaring me. What's going on?"
There's a panel of glass between you both as Alexia stares.
She's been put in a wheelchair and her doctor insists that she stays there.
It's too soon for her to be walking around and using her stomach muscles to get up.
Too soon after her surgery.
Her uterus ruptured. That's what Alexia was told. That's why she woke up that day with pain and a pool of blood in her bed. Her uterus ruptured and you were in danger.
The words didn't have much of an impact on Alexia. She already felt numb, both physically and mentally.
She'd nearly killed you.
Her uterus ruptured and you didn't have oxygen for who knows how long.
Her uterus ruptured while she was sleeping and you'd had no oxygen for maybe hours on end.
It didn't matter what the doctors told her, that was all Alexia could think of.
You and the lack of oxygen in your small, tiny brain.
You were already a small baby. The doctors present at your scans had talked about it before.
You didn't grow very quickly, on the small end of what you should be.
There had already been cause of concern because of it but now, as Alexia stares through the pane of glass between you both, it's all she can think about.
You're tiny, hooked up to machines and wires and you, somehow, look smaller than all the other premature babies in the NICU.
"I..."
"She's beautiful, Ale," Eli says," So, so beautiful."
"She's sick," Alexia chokes out," Mami, I let her get sick."
"No, Ale," Eli tries to sooth her," No. She's going to be okay. This isn't anything to do with you."
"But it is." The tears are coming now. Alexia hasn't cried since everything happened, hasn't felt anything at all until this moment as she watches you in your incubator.
You don't even have a name yet.
The little identification tag on your incubator just calls you 'The Putellas Baby'.
You don't have a name and you could easily just die in here.
With no name.
"It's all my fault," Alexia says as tears drip down her cheeks onto the clenched fists in her lap," Mami, she's going to die."
There's already a nursery set up for you at home with walls a very soft light purple colour. A little crib with a pastel pink blankie to swaddle you in and a little mobile to sit above you with cute doves that are meant to chirp and sing above your head.
There's a little Barcelona onesie waiting and ready for when Alexia presents you at Barcelona's next home match.
That was meant to be the plan.
A plan that's crashing down as Alexia stares at your struggling form in the incubator in front of her.
"No, no, Ale," Eli says," She's a strong girl, just like her Mami. She's going to be just fine."
It takes ten days after your birth for Alexia to touch you.
Her hands are shaking. Her heart rate is heightened.
"Alright, Mami," The midwife says," We're going to give this little one some kangaroo care. A bit of skin-on-skin should help, alright?"
Alexia's throat bobs uneasily as she swallows. "Yeah, alright."
You seem even tinier in person. You barely weigh anything at all, like a little sheet of paper as you're placed on Alexia's chest.
For a moment, your little face scrunches up in distaste and Alexia freezes.
But you settle a second later and Alexia can feel your soft puff of air against her collarbone.
You're absolutely tiny. Tiny and weak but alive.
Alive and breathing and wholly Alexia's daughter.
Her hand comes up to cup the back of your head, softly stroking the downy hair that's grown there.
"Hola, pequeñita," She whispers as tears threaten to spill from your eyes," I'm your Mami. It's nice to finally meet you."

all i can think about is ningning taking your virginity and making you her puppet, so i have to share it with u!!
like imagine being best friend with ningning and one day at sleepover she decides she wants to fuck you and she doesn’t know what to do so she randomly comes behind up and start massaging your boobs and you’re kind of confuse but it feels good and she’s like you like that? but you know you shouldn’t!! she’s your best friend after all, best friends don’t do that
then you confess to her you’re a virgin and she’s like i know babe but she still asks you if you can make her feel good so you try
then it leads to her fucking you with a strap!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i hope you don't mind but i changed a little bit of the request bc i couldn’t write this, my brain was just not working👉👈kinda long
hot best friend ningning x oblivious reader
Tumblr media
You'd had a hundred sleepovers with Ningning before — messy skincare routines, late-night snacks, and half-hearted movie marathons where you both ended up scrolling your phones instead. Tonight was supposed to be just like any other night.
Except... it wasn't.
Maybe it was how she'd been looking at you all evening — eyes lingering just a little too long, her playful teasing feeling heavier somehow. Or the way her fingers would brush your thigh under the blanket, pretending not to notice how your breath caught every time. You tried to tell yourself you were imagining it.
Ningning was your best friend. She'd always been touchy, always called you baby in that soft, sing-song voice. But when she suggested sharing the bed instead of setting up the couch like usual... something shifted. Now you're lying side by side in the dim light, both in oversized t-shirts and tiny shorts, bodies close under the blankets. Her perfume lingers between you — warm, sweet, dangerous.
"You tired?" she asks softly, her voice low, lazy. You shake your head, trying not to notice how her leg is pressed against yours. "No... not really."
There's a beat of silence.
You feel her shift, propping herself up on one elbow. When you glance at her, her eyes are already on you — darker than usual, half-lidded, like she's sizing you up.
"You always get so shy around me."
Your stomach flips. "I'm not—"
She cuts you off with a soft little laugh, fingers brushing over your bare thigh — just barely there, like she's testing how far she can push. "You are."
Her voice is quieter now, closer. "It's cute."
Your breath catches. You should pull away, crack a joke — anything to break whatever this is. But you don't.
You just lie there, heart pounding, heat pooling low in your stomach as her fingers trace slow circles against your skin. "You ever wonder what it would feel like?" she murmurs, leaning in so close her breath is warm against your lips. "What?"
Her eyes flick down to your mouth — then back up, lazy and deliberate.
"If I kissed you."
Your whole body goes still. You've never thought about Ningning like that... or maybe you have, but buried it so deep you forgot it was even there.
"I..."
She smiles — soft, teasing — like she knows exactly how flustered she's making you.
"You can tell me to stop." Her fingers slide higher, brushing just under the hem of your shorts. "But I don't think you want me to.
You don't. God, you don't.
"Ning..."
That's all you get out before her lips are on yours — slow, testing — like she's been holding back for way too long.
She tastes sweet, like the strawberry lip balm you borrowed earlier, her hand slipping under your shirt to rest against your waist. When she pulls back, her eyes flick between yours, waiting.
"You like when I'm soft with you, huh?" she whispers.
You nod, breathless.
Her lips brush your jaw, trailing lower — your neck, your collarbone — until you're tilting your head back without even thinking.
"But I could be so much meaner if you asked."
Her hand dips lower between your thighs, fingers brushing where you're already aching for her — barely there, just enough to make you gasp.
"You gonna let your best friend take care of you, baby?"
She's teasing, playing with you — but there's heat behind it, like she's been waiting for this moment longer than you'd ever realized.
You whimper — half nodding, half falling apart — and that's all the permission she needs.
Her fingers are still teasing between your thighs — featherlight touches that have your whole body trembling under the blanket. Ningning's smile is lazy, half-lidded, like she’s been waiting to get you like this for way too long.
"You always this quiet, baby?" she murmurs, lips brushing your jaw.
Your heart's pounding so hard you're sure she can feel it under her palm. You're dizzy — from the heat, from how close she is, from how good her hands feel without even really doing anything yet.
"I—" Your voice catches in your throat. You squeeze your legs together, trying to squirm away from her touch — but she just smiles, pressing her thigh between yours to keep you in place.
"You what?" she whispers, breath warm against your ear.
Your whole face burns. You've never felt like this before — not with anyone. Every brush of her fingers sends a fresh wave of heat pooling between your legs, but...
"I've never..."
You can't even finish the sentence.
Ningning freezes — just for a second — and then she laughs.
It's low, soft, teasing — like she just stumbled onto the best secret in the world.
"Oh my god..." she breathes, grinning down at you. "You're a virgin?"
You bite your lip, turning your face away — but she catches your chin between two fingers, making you look at her.
"Baby..." she coos, mock-sweet. "Were you just gonna let me ruin you without even telling me?"
You feel like you're going to die — but the worst part is how wet you are just from the sound of her voice.
"I didn't— I didn't think—"
"You didn't think I'd find out?" Her thumb brushes your bottom lip, smirking when you gasp. "Or you didn't think I'd like it?"
Your breath catches.
She likes it?
Her eyes flick down your body — to where you're squirming under her, thighs clenched tight around her leg — then back up to your face.
"Oh, baby..." she purrs. "You're so cute."
Her fingers slide higher, slipping under your shorts — still not touching where you want her, just teasing along the inside of your thigh.
"You want me to be gentle with you?"
You should nod. You should say yes. But the way she's looking at you — like she wants to devour you — makes your whole body ache.
You shake your head, breathless.
Ningning's smirk deepens.
"Didn't think so."
Her fingers brush over your soaked panties, and you gasp — hips bucking up into her hand without even meaning to. She watches every little twitch, every shaky breath, like she's studying you.
"You've been thinking about this, haven't you?" she murmurs. "Letting your best friend touch you like this... even if you didn't wanna admit it.
You whimper — and that's all the answer she needs.
"Don't worry, baby..." she coos, finally slipping her fingers beneath the fabric. "I'll be gentle..."
Her lips brush your ear — voice dropping lower —
"...at first."
You're gone. Completely. All those years of friendship, every line you thought you'd never cross — they're already ruined under her hands, and she's only just getting started.
Her hand drifts lower under the blanket, fingers brushing between your legs again — but this time, she doesn't tease. She cups you through your ruined panties, palm pressing down just enough to make your hips buck into her hand.
"You want me to stretch you out, baby?" she whispers against your lips. "Wanna feel what it's like to really get fucked?"
Your breath catches — and you don't even realize you're nodding until she's already smirking down at you like she owns you.
"Good girl."
You barely register her slipping out of bed — too dazed, too soaked between your thighs to do anything but watch as she opens her overnight bag and pulls out...
Oh.
You sit up on your elbows, eyes wide.
"Ning... you brought that to a sleepover?"
She flashes you a wicked little grin, the black strap-on hanging loose from her fingers.
"I was hoping you'd finally let me fuck you sooner or later."
Your whole body burns — but before you can even think of something smart to say, she's crawling back onto the bed, strapping the harness low on her hips like she's done it a million times before.
"You still want me to be gentle, baby?" she purrs, stroking the silicone along your thigh — not quite where you need it, just enough to make you squirm.
You bite your lip, eyes flicking between her face and the strap — heart pounding so hard you're sure she can hear it.
"...No."
Her smile curves slow and dangerous.
"That's what I thought."
She hooks her fingers under your shorts and panties, sliding them down your legs in one slow motion —Ningning freezes — just for a second — and then she laughs.
You're already soaked again, slick dripping down your thighs — and Ningning sees it. Her tongue flicks over her bottom lip, eyes locked on your messy little cunt like she's ready to eat you alive.
"Fuck, baby... you're so wet for me."
You whimper — half embarrassed, half aching — but she just shushes you, leaning down to kiss your thigh.
"I'll make it feel good," she promises softly. "Gonna make you forget anyone else ever even touched you."
She lines the strap up between your legs, dragging the head through your slick folds — slow, teasing — just to watch you squirm.
"Look at you..." she murmurs, voice low and sweet. "All shy and innocent — and now you're about to let your best friend fuck you."
You gasp, clutching at the sheets as the tip nudges against your entrance — stretching you open inch by inch, so slow it hurts.
Ningning groans low under her breath, even though she can't feel it — like she's imagining how tight you are, how wet.
"You're so fucking tight, baby..." she breathes, hips rolling forward just a little deeper. "Relax... let me in."
You try — but she's so big, and it's so much — and she can feel you clenching around the strap, watching every little whimper that spills from your lips.
"You're taking me so well, baby..." she coos, kissing your cheek. "Such a good girl for me."
She doesn't stop until she's buried to the hilt — hips flush against yours, her breath hot against your neck.
You feel so full you're dizzy — stretched open and ruined on your best friend's cock, panting into her mouth as she starts to move.
Slow at first — gentle — just rocking her hips against yours while one hand slips between your thighs to rub soft little circles over your clit.
"That's it, baby... let me take care of you..."
You can't do anything but take it — legs wrapped around her waist, nails digging into her back as she fucks you into the mattress.
Every thrust makes you gasp — this slow, steady rhythm that has your body melting under her. "Does it feel good?" she whispers, biting at your jaw. "Is this what you've been waiting for?"
You nod, tears prickling at the corners of your eyes — so overwhelmed you can't even speak. Ningning loves it. "Poor baby..." she coos, pressing her thumb harder against your clit. "Gonna come for me again, huh? Gonna let your best friend fuck all those shy little noises out of you?"
You're already so close — hips grinding up into hers, breath catching with every slow, deep thrust. She leans in — lips brushing your ear —
"Come for me, baby... let me ruin you."
And you do — falling apart under her with a broken little cry, legs shaking around her waist as she fucks you through it. When it's over, she doesn't pull out right away — just holds you there, cock still buried deep, pressing soft kisses along your jaw.
"You did so good for me..." she murmurs, brushing sweaty hair out of your face.
"Such a pretty little slut."
You're still trembling when she finally pulls out — slick dripping down your thighs, body wrecked from the inside out.
But Ningning just smirks, pulling you close against her chest. "You want me to clean you up?" she whispers, trailing her fingers down your stomach.
"Or shall we find out how many times i can make you cum before the sun comes up?"

Bundle of Joy
Old man Logan x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
—☀︎——☀︎——☀︎——☀︎——☀︎——☀︎——☀︎—
Whew, finally!! I've been keeping this thing in drafts for like a week now, all because of school (😠)
This is originally a request from @fluff-lover (I forgot to answer to their ask) :
"I had this idea of Old man Logan and reader living a quiet life in a cabin, and a pregnant dog comes to their door. Reader takes her in and helps her until she's given birth and the puppies are ready for their forever home. Logan has to drive to the shelter with the puppies to drop them off, but knowing Reader got attached he decides to surprise them by bringing home one of the puppies."
I absolutely loved this idea when I read it, so I really really hope this is what you imagined 🤞
Pairing: Old man Logan x reader
Words: 1,6k ish
Description: Look at the ask above, pretty much that + Laura in the picture bc I love her 3000
Warnings: Not many. Couple of swear words + me rambling; excessive use of the word "and" (my bad)
Tags: Fluff, domestic Logan :), reader sees Laura as their daughter, reader gets referred to as Logan's wife (I don't think there are any other lady reader indicators), attachments being formed with puppies (I love animals), Logan being the dad that says 'I don't want any pets' but then being found guilty of snuggling with the dog on the couch💔
A/n: English isn't my first language and I absolutely hate tenses, so lmk if there's anything I should fix :)
—————————☀︎——————————
James Howlett. Jimmy. Logan. Patch. The Wolverine.
How did a man that lived long enough to get called all those names end up here? Driving a limo, owning reading glasses and having to deal with aching bones?
And he's not driving a customer around this time — on the passenger seat next to him is an open box. Full of fucking puppies.
What had happened to get Logan here?
Well, it all started a month ago. You'd just came back to the little cabin you and Logan had the privilege of calling a home – after Charles sadly passed, you'd offered Logan to cross the border along with Laura and build a home. Start anew. And God, who was he to deny you?
So anyways, you'd just come home after work. Logan was, for once, early, already hanging his coat. Laura was on a week-long trip with her class, which left you and your husband some time to spend together, just you and him..
Or so he thought. Upon going back to the front door to great you, he had heard your voice, soft and mumbly, almost cooing at someone. Or something. His usual wrapping his arms around you and welcoming you home with a kiss – he'd do anything to catch a glimpse of that sweet smile of yours, even after all these years – turned into an eyebrow raise and a soft look of curiousity in Logan's eyes.
"Hi, darlin'. ..Who're you talking to?"
Too swallowed up in trying to get the mystery.. individual to follow you in, your head had whipped around in surprise at Logan's words. ...And a tiny smile adorned your features the moment you saw him.
"Lo, you're back early!" You called out, and your arms immediately outstretched, as if it was an automatic reaction to catching his gaze.
Aaand here it was. A man that everyone convinced he was a weapon his whole life, that he was born to kill, was now getting flustered and giddy at the sensation of the beautiful woman he got the privilege to call his wife, planting soft little kisses aaalll over his face. And he wasn't grumpy about it either – he was smiling like an idiot.
But the smile dropped to a surprised part of his lips, his eyes widening, as they got met with a rather interesting sight. As you hugged him,he had the chance to look at whatever was behind your back. And now he realized why you were cooing.
A dog. A not so big, yet not so small dog with glossy eyes and an almost sad look on its muzzle.
And it was kind of..round, too.
And that's when it sort of clicked for Logan. He pulled back, wide eyes looking down at you with astonishment, interest and some disbelief. "Where did uh... Where'd the lil' guy come from?"
It had taken you a while to understand what he was talking about. But some confused looks and a long 'Ooooh!' later, you were already explaining. "The little guy's actually a girl - she's been in the neighborhood for a while now. I gave her leftover meat once, so I guess she came back for more."
A pause. "... She's pregnant." Yeah. Logan could see that. But with the way your voice had softened, he didn't dare tease. "I was.. hoping we could take her in. Help her with the cubs... I mean, she looks really pregnant."
At first, Logan had stayed silent. Stayed skeptical. A stray? And a pregnant one, at that? Who knew what kind of diseases she could be carrying?? And yeah,he couldn't get sick and neither could Laura, but what about you? He couldn't bare anything bad happening to you...
But then, oh, then, he saw that look in your eyes. It's like he couldn't decide which one of you was giving him sadder puppy eyes - you or the literal dog behind you. And then you had given one simple "..please?" And he couldn't resist - he caved.
And so, the one month of taking care of the stray doggo had begun. You'd taken her to the vet to make sure everything was okay, just to ease Logan's paranoia. It had been hard for him to get used to her in the house at first anyway, however - and that was without having Laura around and having to explain to her what she could and couldn't do in order to not scare the poor thing - loud music or yelling wouldn't be a treat for the poor pup, even if Laura didn't do those so often.
It was a change of pace, that's for sure. Having yet another mouth to feed, even if it wasn't that hard to mix dog food with some meat twice a day. Having a four-pawed, big-eyed pet walking around the house, laying on the couch, sleeping on your shared bed...
What he couldn't get used to was having your attention on the pup more than on him.
Some might call it jealousy. It definitely wasn't jealousy.
...It was totally jealousy.
At first,it had stunned you to see Logan more grumpy than the usual. I mean, yeah, he'd barely agreed and yeah, he wasn't used to a pet, moreso a pregnant one, but why was he looking at the damn dog so weird every time you gave it a scratch or cooed at it?
And then it had dawned on you. He wanted head scratches too. Wanted you to coo at him and coddle him. And oh boy, did he get teased.
After you figured out why he was being more of a grump than usual, you got a good laugh out of it, (and you got to see your husband as red as a tomato) but after that, you made sure to give equal attention to both the pup and Logan himself. You made up to him with a looot of kisses, cuddles, even a back massage.
And the problem was quickly resolved.
A week in, Laura got to know the pup as well. After a 5 or so minute talk about pregnant animals and dogs and whatnot, during the whole entirety of which the girl had been silent, Laura asked a pretty good question.
"Does she have a name?"
And it hit you - she didn't.
And then came the next question of your daughter's - "Can I name her?"
That's how the dog ended up with her own name - Bella.
The following three weeks were a new experience for Laura as well, but she seemed to love having Bella around, just as much as you did. She'd help you with her food, offer to come with you to walk her in the evenings, she even tried to get the pup to sleep on her bed once.
But eventually, the time had come for Bella to give birth. You had done all necessary research - whether or not to interfere, how to help, what was normal and what wasn't. When you'd recognised Bella's odd behaviour as going into labour, you immediately scurried to join her side in the corner of your bedroom, crouching down to be closer to her.
After you gained awareness on Logan's little... problem - and solved it - your husband began to warm up to Bella too. You'd begun finding the dog curled up close to him while he read when you came home, he, in turn, had begun to help with her food. He'd stopped complaining about the dog sleeping in your shared bed. He'd even began petting her more than he'd like to admit.
——————————☀︎——————————
What you hadn't expected was for Logan to join your side too.
Bella had given birth with little to no complications - and her pups were just so tiny and so cute! It warmed your heart just thinking about it - the stray you took in had just had eight healthy puppies, eight! And, with the way Bella herself was eagerly trying to lick at your hand when you went to pet her, despite the exhaustion that must've been seeping through her, told you that she was as grateful as ever, too. It made your eyes water, even if you wouldn't admit it.
You and Logan had gladly let Bella stay until her pups were at least four months old. But both you and your husband knew that after they were bug enough, you had to give them to a dog pound - you couldn't feed eight more pups, you couldn't assure they were living their best life.
That time you hadn't hidden the tears. And that time, Logan hadn't said a word as he hugged you. He understood. Because he'd grown attached to the doggo too.
Aaand, back to present - here he was, driving a box full of puppies, lined with newspapers to try and keep the little things as comfortable as possible. Bella was in there too, looking up at him with those big, glossy eyes. It hurt to turn to the right exactly because he knew he'd likely never see her again..
You'd never see her again, either. He knew how sad that made you, and it made him even sadder knowing it. He was going to come home to you, to Laura, to his house, but he'd no longer her the sound of long nails and furry paws hitting the floor. He'd no longer have soft fur to absentmindedly stroke while he reads.
He'd left home with nine bundles of joy in a box, and he'd come home empty-handed.
...At least that's what you thought. Until you saw your husband open the door with one hand. Smiling softly.
(Another) A/n: Thank you so much for the love on my recent fics! I love when you guys leave silly tags when you repost btw, so don't be shy <33
Because his other hand was too busy holding one of Bella's puppies, letting the little bundle of joy get accustomed to its home. Your little bundle of joy.

Picture Myself Happy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Dean Winchester x reader
Summary: Follows the story line of episodes 17-21 of season 5. Lisa doesn't exist, instead it's (Y/N).
Warnings: canon violence, cursing, use of pet names. SMUT, oral (F and M receiving), unprotected sex (P in V), face sitting, light dirty talk.
"Dean? You okay?" you asked softly.
The look he gave you more than answered your question, but he responded anyway. "I'm about as far from okay as I possibly can be."
"I think we all are."
Dean shook his head. "My decisions have an impact on the entire world, (Y/N)--the world! And I'm sitting here denying fate. Where's that gotten me?"
"What are you trying to say?" you asked softly.
He buried his head in his hands. "I don't know...It doesn't matter."
"It matters to me."
Dean looked back up at you, face full of pain. You were certain he was going to say more, but his reply was cut off by Sam's voice calling his name.
"We've got an insane amount of demon omens in some tiny ass town in middle-of-nowhere Minnesota."
"Great," Dean mumbled as he stood up, face once again an impenetrable mask. "Guess we should get rolling."
You stood up too, but Dean cut you a look and shook his head. "Not happening."
"Dean, come on. I'm more than ready."
"Absolutely not. You almost died not that long ago. You need to rest."
"I've been resting for weeks. I feel fine," you insisted.
"Maybe she's right, Dean," Sam cut in. "We could really use the help."
"I'm the oldest and I say it ain't happening--got it?"
"Actually, I'm the oldest," Bobby quipped as he wheeled into the room. "Now, what exactly are we fighting about?"
"(Y/N) thinks she's ready to hunt again," Dean answered.
"Because I am."
Bobby's expression softened as he looked at you. "As much as I hate to say it, I think you should sit this one out (Y/N/N). Besides, I could really use your help here. You're better at research than either of these knuckleheads."
You were about to protest, but decided against it when you saw the worry in Bobby's eyes. He'd always been good to you and you owed him your life--you didn't wanna worry him more than you needed to. "Alright, alright. I'll sit this one out."
Dean nodded, seemingly pleased. "I'll call you when we get there--let you know we're safe."
You sighed, but nodded your agreement. You hated watching the boys leave to go on a hunt on their own--especially these days. End of the world and all that.
You watched in silence as Sam and Dean gathered their minimal belongings and piled into the Impala. You waved goodbye before coming back inside, expression clouded with a variety of inexpressible emotions.
The last two years had been a whirlwind for all of you--drawing all of you closer together. You cared very deeply for the Winchester boys and for Bobby, and they cared for you.
You were the same age as Sam, so the two of you hit it off with ease, but the elder Winchester was a little less trusting. The fact that Bobby trusted you meant a hell of a lot to Dean and went a long way in getting him to trust you enough to help on a couple hunts. You were a great hunter and before long, the three of you were almost inseparable.
You counted all three men as family and you knew they felt the same way about you, although you wished Dean's emotions aligned with your own. You weren't sure exactly when it happened, but you realized your feelings had changed one day during a particularly brutal hunt where you almost lost Dean. Somehow, in the midst of the shitstorm that was your lives, you'd managed to fall in love with the most emotionally unavailable man alive.
To make matters worse, you could never tell him for fear of damaging the little family unit you'd created for yourself. Instead, you stood on the sidelines, watching him flirt with every woman with legs and take more of them to bed than you'd cared to count. It made your chest ache, but you hid it well--even from Sam.
Loving Dean Winchester had never been a part of your plans, but you couldn't stop it from happening anymore than you could turn those feelings off now. Every time he walked out the door, you were terrified it would be the last time you would ever see him. You knew he was strong, but you also knew how self-destructive he could be.
He'd been different in recent months and you saw it more than anyone else did. For some reason, Dean chose to confide in you--perhaps because you listened quietly without judgment. You wanted nothing more than to see him find his way back to himself again and you hoped you were there to witness it.
"You gonna come back in or just stare off into the distance all night?" Bobby called to you from inside.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," you grumbled. "I was just lost in thought."
Bobby gave you a knowing look, which you chose to ignore. "Don't you have some research you need help with?"
He rolled his eyes, but didn't comment. He handed you a book and muttered, "Get to reading."
**********
"Dean's gone."
"What the hell do you mean he's gone?" you yelled into the phone.
"I mean he literally took off, (Y/N)!" Sam yelled back. "He killed the Whore of Babylon--which should have been impossible--and then he took off!"
"He...Sam, that's not possible."
"I was there--saw it with my own eyes."
"I, too, was there," Cas said in the background.
"Only a true servant of heaven can kill her," you said, bewildered.
"Exactly," Sam said, voice much softer than before.
"No," you whispered, disbelief lacing your words. "No--he wouldn't."
Sam understood your meaning. "I don't know anymore, (Y/N). I just don't know."
"We have to find him."
"I have a few ideas of where to find him, but I know he's going to come see you first."
"Why me?"
"To say goodbye," Sam said softly.
Your eyes fluttered closed and you could feel tears pressing against them. "I'll call you if he shows up here," you whispered.
Bobby rolled up behind you as you hung up the phone. "What's wrong?"
"I think Dean's going to say yes to Michael."
Bobby's expression perfectly matched the way you were feeling. A mixture of horror, disbelief, pain, and unbridled terror.
There wasn't much more to say after that--you were both just left to wait. There was nothing left for you to do but wait and see if he'd come home.
**********
The next day, there was a quiet knock on Bobby's front door. It was early in the morning and the older man was sound asleep in the middle of a pile of books on his desk.
You went to the door and peered out to find Dean's face looking back at you. You tugged open the door with more force than you'd intended to and stepped out onto the porch.
"Where have you been?" you snapped. "We were so worried."
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)--I should have called."
"Yes, you should have."
"I--uh, well I can't stay long, but I wanted to come see you."
"Dean, please tell me you're not going to do anything stupid."
He smiled weakly. "Now when have I ever done anything stupid?"
You didn't acknowledge his teasing like you normally would--too worried about the truth hidden behind his sarcasm. "You can't say yes," you whispered.
He gave you a pained smile. "I don't really have a choice, (Y/N/N)."
"Of course you have a choice, Dean! We always have a choice."
"If I don't--the whole freaking world burns! Do you have any idea what it's like to carry that weight on your shoulders?"
You shook your head. "I can't imagine the burden--nor can I imagine losing you to some asshole with wings."
He chuckled softly at that. "None of this matters right now--this isn't what I came here to say."
"Then what did you come here to say?"
He stepped forward and took your hand in his. You were surprised by the gesture, but you didn't pull away.
"You know, our lives are messed up. They're complicated and full of pain and darkness and death. There's not much happiness in our lives--especially not before you came into mine."
Tears filled your eyes as you listened to his words.
"When I picture myself happy, it's with you," he whispered. "I just wanted you to know that."
You inhaled sharply and the tears began to flow freely. "Dean, don't--"
He brushed his lips against your forehead, silencing your pleas.
"Don't worry, (Y/N/N). You'll be fine--I'll make sure of it. They're not getting what they want from me without meeting some conditions first."
"Dean, please don't do this. Just come inside and we can talk about it," you begged.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart," he said softly. "I have to."
As you opened your mouth to respond, Castiel appeared directly behind Dean. You knew there was a possibility he would never forgive you for this, but you couldn't let him say yes. "I'm sorry too."
He looked confused for a moment until he heard Cas's voice from behind him. "Hello Dean." As soon as the hunter turned around, Cas used his grace to knock him unconscious.
Cas looked up at you with a surprising amount of sorrow on his face. "I will carry him inside."
You watched as the angel picked up the much larger man and walked towards the door.
"Did Bobby call you?"
"He overheard at least part of your conversation--enough to know Dean was here."
You nodded and followed him inside. "Good," you whispered.
**********
"Out of all people, I thought you would understand," Dean growled at you.
"You know what? I do understand! I understand your desire to self-destruct at every turn! I see the pain and the guilt and the utter emptiness inside you every time I look into your eyes, so don't you think for a second I don't understand."
He was taken aback by the anger in your voice--he wasn't used to you yelling at him with such intensity.
"It's for the greater good!"
"Screw the greater good, Dean! What happened to stopping the devil and saving the world, huh?"
"This is the only way!" he roared.
"I refuse to believe that," you said in a much more mannered tone. "I can't believe that...if I do, then it means everything we've done has been for nothing."
His expression softened. "No, (Y/N), wait--that's not--"
You held up your hand to stop him from talking. "I can't do this."
You walked away, leaving Dean alone in the panic room to stew with his thoughts.
"He still being an ass?" Bobby asked when you came back upstairs.
"Maybe you'll have better luck," you say to Cas. Both you and Sam had struck out.
"I will try." Instead of taking the stairs like a normal person, Cas zapped himself downstairs and stepped towards the panic room.
You had gone upstairs to get something from your room when you heard Sam yell your name. You came racing down the stairs, only to find the younger Winchester looking upset.
"Where's Cas?"
"Zapped to Oz," Sam fumed. "Dean's gone too."
"Great," you mumbled sarcastically. "Go find him. We'll watch Adam."
You were sitting in a chair, watching Adam sleep--in the least creepy way possible. You felt bad for the kid--it was a shitty life to be dragged into, especially after he was already in heaven.
Just as these thoughts were crossing your mind, Adam disappeared right before your eyes. You blinked a couple times, but the cot remained empty. "Bobby!"
**********
"What the hell do you mean he's gone?" Sam snapped at you.
"As I said before, he literally disappeared," you snapped back.
"Probably Zachariah," Castiel said as he appeared, holding a beaten Dean against his side.
"Dean!" you gasped. "What happened to him?"
"I did," Cas answered.
You were surprised, but you understood the angel's anger. After all, he'd believed in the Winchesters--in Dean--so vehemently that he rebelled against heaven--against everything he'd ever believed.
Cas tossed Dean's body onto the now-empty cot while you gathered some first aid supplies. You began to clean him up, listening wordlessly to the discussion happening around you.
"I think Dean should come," Sam said suddenly.
"Are you insane?" Bobby exclaimed.
"That is a terrible plan," Cas agreed.
Sam looked over at you for input, hoping you would be on his side. "What makes you think that's a good idea?" you asked gently.
"I have to believe he'll do the right thing."
You looked down at the still-unconscious man and sighed. He was the bravest and most loyal man you knew, but you also knew he could be stubborn and self-righteous to the point of aggravation. However, you believed in him too--maybe not as much as Sam, but it was there.
"I think it's highly likely he'll walk in there and say yes without a second thought--especially if it means saving you and Adam," you said honestly. "But I have to believe that in the moment, when it really matters, he'll do the right thing."
Sam gave you a small smile and a nod of gratitude.
"Now until then, could someone please move him down to the panic room?" you asked.
After Sam had talked to Dean and told him the plan, the two of them came upstairs to prepare to leave.
"Sam mentioned you agreed with him," Dean said softly, so only you could hear.
"There's no one I believe in more than you, Dean Winchester," you admitted. "You'll do the right thing."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because I know you," you said simply.
He shook his head. "I'm gonna say yes, you know."
"I'm sure you will," you murmured. "But in that moment--the moments before you decide--I want you to remember one thing."
He waited breathlessly for your next words.
"Only you get to decide your destiny."
Surprise lit up his handsome face. Out of all the things he'd expected you to say, that hadn't been on his list. "(Y/N), I--"
"Time to go, Dean," Cas interrupted.
You offered him a gentle smile. "Go--and remember what I said."
Sam, Dean, and Cas disappeared before your eyes and you felt the familiar terror wash over you. This time was so much worse than all the others--this time you really did believe he might not come home.
**********
"Hey (Y/N/N)," Dean said softly as you opened the front door. "Did you miss us?"
The brightest smile he'd ever seen lit up your face and you jumped into his arms. "Dean..." you murmured against his shoulder.
He held you tightly before gently setting you back down on the ground. You gave Sam a hug before the smile fell from your pretty face. "Cas? Adam?"
Sam just shook his head and you sighed sadly. "Well come in. Bobby will be glad to see you both."
The boys explained what had transpired in California as you and Bobby listened quietly. You were glad Dean hadn't really said yes to Michael. You couldn't help but stare at him more than usual, eyes seeking some kind of change in him.
You waited until a lull in the conversation to ask the question that had been eating at you. "So why didn't you say yes?"
Three sets of eyes fell on you, but the only ones you cared about were the mossy green ones.
"Sammy believed in me, even when I didn't deserve it--even when I didn't have the same faith in him. He was stupid enough to take me with him because of that faith...I couldn't let him down," Dean answered honestly. "And, well--I remembered what you said."
You offered him a small smile. "Well I'm glad you did."
Dean held up his beer in a mock 'cheers'. "Screw destiny. I think it's high past time we make our own."
"I can get behind that," Sam agreed.
"That'll work for me," you murmured.
"Well not to put a damper on our middle-finger-to-destiny party, but we still don't have a good plan to defeat Lucifer," Bobby chimed in.
"Buzz kill, Bobby," Dean grumbled.
"We'll figure something out. Somehow, we always do," you added.
**********
You were standing in Bobby's living room trying to find a specific book in the overwhelming piles stacked everywhere, when your phone started to ring.
You answered it without looking at the caller ID. "(Y/L/N)."
"Uhh, am I in trouble? It's Dean."
"Oh shit," you said quickly. "No, nothing like that. I just didn't look at the screen before I answered. What's up?"
"We hit some sort of freak storm coming back, so we're staying the night at a motel we happened to pass. I just wanted to let you know so you wouldn't worry."
You smiled even though he couldn't see you. "I appreciate the heads-up. Both of you stay safe and enjoy a nice night off."
"Thanks, (Y/N/N). You too."
It wasn't until Sam and Dean returned from the trip the next day that you learned of the events that had transpired the night before. Several old Pagan gods had gathered at the motel to discuss the end of the world and of course Sam and Dean just happened to be there too.
Apparently the intent was to use the boys as bait to lure Lucifer to the hotel and kill him--at least until Gabriel showed up and told everyone how terrible of an idea it was. Unfortunately, Lucifer had already been summoned by one of the gods and he ended up killing most of the other gods, as well as his brother Gabriel.
In positive news, Gabriel had given Sam and Dean the information needed to stop this whole showdown between Lucifer and Michael. Essentially, they needed all four Horsemen's rings in order to open Lucifer's cage and throw him back into it.
"Small problem with that plan," Bobby stated as the boys finished their explanation. "We only have two rings and we have exactly zero idea where Pestilence or Death is."
"You always manage to find the silver lining, Bobby," Dean said sarcastically.
"He is right though," you said gently. "And it's technically not the only problem. Even if we magically find the other two rings, we still have one very large problem. How the hell do we trick the devil back into the cage?"
"Shit," Dean mumbled. "I hadn't exactly thought that far ahead."
"That's why you have me."
"I guess (Y/N) and I will work on a way to trick the devil, while the two of you look for Pestilence," Bobby stated with a tone of finality.
**********
"This is an absolutely terrible idea," you said angrily. "Out of all the harebrained schemes you idiots have come up with over the years, this one takes the cake. Not only is he a demon, but he screwed us once already. Do you really think working with him is a good idea?"
Dean sighed and ran his hands over his face. "I don't like it anymore than you do, (Y/N/N), but he's the only lead we have."
"Besides, I'm completely trustworthy," Crowley commented as he appeared in Bobby's kitchen. "Well, at least as long as our interests are aligned."
"Fine, but the two of you aren't going alone with him," you said firmly.
"(Y/N), we'll be fine. You should stay here with Bobby."
"I don't need a damn babysitter, Dean," Bobby snapped. "(Y/N)'s better off with the two of you idjits--at least she'll make sure you don't come home dead."
You gave Dean a mirthless smirk and he grumbled in annoyance. "Fine."
"Nice digs," you said sarcastically as Crowley led you to the ramshackle house he'd been staying in.
"No need to be rude," he said in annoyance.
"Okay, what's the plan?" Sam asked.
"The plan, Moose, is for you and the girl to stay here, while Dean and I go to get the Horsemen's stable boy."
"Absolutely not!" you and Sam yelled at the same time.
"I'm not letting my brother go alone with you," Sam added.
"And I'm not letting you come with me," Crowley snapped back. "First of all, you keep trying to kill me, and secondly, I don't like you."
"Fair enough, but why do I have to stay behind?" you asked.
"Someone has to make sure little Sammy here doesn't do anything stupid."
Sam lunged for Crowley again, but you stepped in front of him, effectively blocking his assault. "Cool it, Sam."
Dean sighed, clearly not pleased with the whole situation, but you could see the resignation on his face. You knew what he was going to say before the words even came out of his mouth. "I'll go with Crowley. You two stay here."
"Dean--" you began.
"I'll be fine, (Y/N)."
It was your turn to sigh and nod in quiet acceptance. You looked at Crowley. "If he's not back in one piece, I will hunt you down and rip your heart out."
Crowley threw his hands up in mock surrender. "Understood."
You and Sam watched the two other men walk out the door, concern etched onto both of your faces.
"I don't like this," Sam muttered.
"Well that makes two of us."
"What did you miss about 'one piece'?" you snapped at Crowley when you saw the blood and bruises on Dean's face and torso.
"He's alive. Besides, I had nothing to do with it."
The look Dean gave him said otherwise.
"Technically," Crowley clarified.
You sighed. "You okay?" you asked Dean softly.
"It hurts, but I'll be fine."
Sam started to enter the room where Crowley and Dean had stashed the stable boy (aka Brady), but his entrance was blocked by Crowley.
"What are you doing?" Sam growled.
"Stopping you from mucking this up and ruining any chance we have at finding Pestilence."
"What's he talking about?" you asked.
"Sam--" Dean started.
"Get out of my way," Sam snapped at Crowley.
The demon grumbled, but stepped aside, allowing Sam to pass.
"Sam, just wait a minute," Dean called after him.
The next twenty minutes was a blur of trying to prevent Sam from killing Brady before you could get the information you needed, Crowley going and murdering a bunch of demons, and all of you being attacked by a damn hellhound.
As the five of you raced away from the hellhound fight, you muttered lowly, "Sometimes I really hate this job."
"Tell me about it," Dean agreed.
**********
"Why exactly do I need to sit this one out?" you asked in annoyance.
"Because," Dean started as he threw another weapon into his bag. "I don't like the idea of you going up against a Horseman, okay? It's dangerous."
"Everything we do is dangerous, Dean," you countered.
He sighed. "This is different."
"For the record, I don't like the idea of the two of you going up against Pestilence either--especially without backup."
Dean threw his bag into the trunk of the Impala and slammed it shut. "This whole mess is our fault, which makes it our problem to solve. I've never wanted to involve you in this hell."
"I know, Dean," you said softly. "But like it or not, I'm involved."
He closed his eyes briefly. "Just--stay here with Bobby, please. For me."
His voice was as close to begging as Dean Winchester ever got, so you sighed deeply and nodded, biting the inside of your lip to keep from saying anything else.
Dean pulled you into a tight hug, holding you a little longer than would be typical of a friendly hug. You tried not to notice or read into it--after all, just because Dean had told you he'd pictured himself happy with you didn't mean he wanted to be with you. He hadn't brought it up since, but you supposed there really hadn't been time.
"Be safe," you whispered as he pulled away.
"I always am."
You knew he was lying, but there was nothing you could do about it. Instead, you gave Sam a hug before watching them climb into the Impala and pull away.
When you walked back into the house, Bobby sensed your mood immediately. "You alright, kid?"
"I just don't like the idea of them going after Pestilence alone."
"I know you care about them, but they're tough boys, (Y/N). They'll be alright."
You gave Bobby a sad look. "I think we both know I care too much."
The older man sighed and nodded. "I don't think you can care too much," he said gently.
You understood what he meant, but you were too worried to respond. This was the reason why hunters didn't have families--love was a weakness that would only cause you more pain in the end.
**********
"No, no, no. Absolutely not."
"If it's the only way--" Bobby tried.
"I said no," you growled.
"Then we might as well accept defeat now," Crowley said. "Without the spell, we'll never find Death in time. Without Death's ring, we can't put Lucifer back in his cage, and the end of the world is back on."
"I'm not letting you sacrifice your soul, Bobby!"
"I'll give it back," Crowley insisted. "It's a temporary loan."
"You're a demon, Crowley," you deadpanned. "Trusting you would be insanity."
"I don't see another option," Bobby said quietly.
"The only other option I can see," Crowley mused, "is using (Y/N)'s soul."
"Over my dead body," Bobby seethed.
"If I won't let Bobby do it, why the hell would I give you mine?"
"I didn't think you would. I was simply offering up the only other option."
"(Y/N)..." Bobby said gently.
"I don't like this," you murmured.
"I know. I don't like it either, but it's our best shot."
You closed your eyes. "It's your soul, so it's your choice."
Bobby looked up at Crowley and nodded. "I'll do it."
When the boys returned looking a little worse for the wear, but alive, you were relieved to see them. Especially since they had Cas in tow.
You hugged the angel, eyes scanning over him for any obvious injuries before looking at Dean and Sam. "All three of you look like hell."
"It has not been a fun day," Castiel commented.
You patted his arm gently. "I'd imagine not."
"We got the ring, though," Dean stated. "So that's really all that matters."
"We, uhh--well we managed to find Death's location while you were gone," you said, hoping they wouldn't notice the worried look in your eyes.
"How?" Sam asked.
"With my help," Crowley stated. "And some assistance from Bobby, of course."
There was something in Crowley's tone that made Dean uncomfortable. "What the hell did you do?" he demanded, addressing Bobby.
"It's not a big deal," Bobby said.
"It only cost him his soul," you said lowly, worry lacing your words.
"What? Bobby, come on! You sold your soul?" Dean yelled.
"It's my damn soul, boy!"
"Technically it's on loan. I fully intend to give it back," Crowley interjected.
"Then give it back!" Dean snapped.
"I will, once Lucifer's back in his cage and we all go back to hating each other."
"You son of a bitch," Dean growled.
You stepped in, grabbing Dean's arm to hold him back. "It was Bobby's choice, Dean. We needed the information and it was going to be his soul or mine."
Dean's expression sobered. He didn't want Bobby's soul to be at risk, but he was beyond terrified of losing you. It would kill him if your soul was damned to hell. "If you don't return it, so help me god--"
"I already threatened him," you said softly. "Repeatedly."
"With torture, I might add," Crowley put in.
Dean almost looked proud. "Good."
"Now that's all settled," Crowley began. "We'd better get to Chicago before the storm of the century wipes the Windy City off the map."
**********
Sam pulled you and Dean outside to chat before preparing for the next mission. "I wanted to talk to the two of you alone."
"Is everything okay?" you asked softly.
"I was thinking about what you said--about getting Lucifer into the cage," Sam responded. "And I think I have a plan that will work."
"Okay, let's hear it," Dean prodded.
"So I already talked it over with Bobby and he was telling me how, when he was possessed, he managed to regain control of himself long enough to keep from killing Dean and stab himself--"
"I can see where you're going with this, and I don't like it," you interjected.
Sam ignored your interruption. "I think I can do the same with Lucifer."
"I'm sorry--what?" Dean exclaimed. "Are you suggesting saying yes to Lucifer?"
"Just long enough to get him into the cage," Sam admitted. "I don't see any other options."
"Absolutely not," Dean snapped. "No way--no way in hell."
"Sam," you said calmly, "this is Lucifer! Not just some low level demon. The amount of sheer force of will you'd need to overcome him is--well it's damn near impossible."
"I know that," Sam said softly. "But I think it's worth a try."
Dean was about to say something else when Crowley appeared with a newspaper in his hand. "Read the headline."
Sam took the paper and began to read, "Swine Flu Vaccines to be Shipped Nationwide by Niveus."
The three of you looked perplexed, causing Crowley to groan. "Niveus? Ring a bell, anyone?"
"Wait," you began, "Isn't that the company Brady worked for?"
Crowley nodded. "At least one of you has a brain. Brady was the senior VP of distribution, to be specific."
"Oh fuck," you muttered.
"Please don't tell me--" Dean started.
"Pestilence had a bigger plan. Swine flu was just the beginning," Sam stated.
"The vaccine is phase two," you whispered.
"Exactly," Crowley added. "And it's full of Croatoan Virus."
"Son of a bitch," Dean muttered.
"You've gotta admit, it's an effective way to infect more than half the country all at once," Sam said quietly.
"We have to stop the distribution," you announced. "When do the trucks roll out?"
"Tomorrow," Crowley answered.
"Great," Dean said sarcastically. "So all we have to do is save Chicago, take Death's ring, and stop the mass spreading of the Croatian Virus to the entire U.S....all in one day."
You sighed deeply. "Well, if anyone can do it, it's us."
Dean looked over at you, a proud smile on his face. "That's my girl."
You blushed and looked away, unaccustomed to hearing him call you 'his girl'. Sure, he called you 'sweetheart', but he called most women that. This felt different, and you weren't sure how you felt about it.
"Let's go save the world," Sam muttered.
**********
You hadn't wanted to separate from Dean, but you knew Sam, Cas, and Bobby would likely need your help more than Dean and Crowley did. You still didn't trust Crowley and you hated the idea of leaving him alone with Dean, especially when they were facing an apocalyptic storm and going up against one of the oldest creatures in creation--Death himself.
"You just gonna sit there?" Crowley asked Bobby, drawing you out of your thoughts.
"No, I'm gonna river dance," Bobby quipped back.
"I suppose if you wanna impress the ladies," he teased. "You know, you can really make these contracts work in your favor, for instance adding your legs as part of the deal."
Everyone stared at Bobby in silence as he slowly began to move his legs for the first time in what felt like eternity. You gasped in shock when he stood up to his full height and took a step forward.
The joy was short-lived, given the tasks you were about to complete. There were a couple hugs before everyone sobered up and finished preparing to leave.
You were about to get into the van with Cas, Bobby, and Sam, when Dean approached you and called your name.
"Dean? You okay?" you asked.
He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, his hand lingering against your cheek for longer than it should have. "Just--just be careful, (Y/N/N). Please."
You smiled gently and nodded. "You too, Dean."
He pulled you into a tight hug, placing his lips into your hair, gently kissing the top of your head. "I can't lose you," he murmured so softly you almost didn't hear.
When he finally let you go, your eyes had begun to water--emotions bubbling up inside of you despite your best efforts to conceal them. "Come back to me," you choked out.
He gave you a sad smile as he stepped away. You saw him close his eyes as he swallowed thickly, clearly experiencing some complicated emotions of his own.
"Dean!" Crowley yelled. "Let's get a move on."
Dean groaned and his normal impassive mask slid back into place. "I'm coming, quit your whining." He gave you one last look before walking away from you.
Your heart ached in your chest, an overwhelming feeling of fear embedding itself in your bones. You watched him get into the driver's seat of the Impala before you managed to shake yourself out of whatever trance you were in and get into the van with the others.
"You good, (Y/N)? Bobby asked as you shut the door.
"All good," you lied. "Let's roll."
**********
"Have I mentioned how much I hate Croatoan Virus?" you grumbled as you shot yet another infected person who was charging your way.
"Maybe once or twice," Sam shot back.
"We should have known they would infect people before we got here," Bobby commented.
"Yeah, but at least we've stopped the shipment. Now we just gotta kill some Croats," you said with a smirk as you shot another one.
You and Sam traveled farther into the warehouse, following the sounds of people yelling for help. Cas and Bobby stayed up front to make sure no Croats escaped.
You were certain you had to be nearing the last of the infected people, but as you rounded a corner, one got the jump on you, tackling you to the ground. You fought with him, desperately trying to get him off of you so you could shoot him, but he sent your gun flying, leaving you defenseless.
You were starting to lose the battle, the Croat's teeth close to sinking into your flesh, when you heard a yell from behind you. The Croat looked up just in time to see Sam pull the trigger, bringing the terrifying moment to an end.
He helped you up and you retrieved your gun. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for the save."
He smiled. "Any time."
The two of you started moving back towards the front of the building. You heard a sound down one of the aisles and you started in that direction. You nodded for Sam to get back to Bobby and Cas, confident you could handle the situation on your own.
You cleared the aisle, but didn't find anything. You started heading back when you heard Sam yell and you started running. You arrived just in time to see Castiel shooting a Croat in the head to save Sam.
He looked slightly pleased with himself, gazing down at the sawed off in his hands. "These things can be useful."
You chuckled and Bobby just shook his head.
Sam got up and clapped Cas on the shoulder, a silent thank you for saving him. "Alright, let's blow some stuff up," he said with a grin.
"This has always been my favorite part of the plan," you declared with a grin of your own.
When the four of you returned to Bobby's, you were pleased to learn Dean and Crowley's mission had also been a success. Not only had they saved Chicago, but Dean had managed to secure Death's ring and learn how to use the rings.
"How old do we think Death is, exactly?" you asked.
"He told me he was as old as God...maybe older, but neither of them could remember," Dean responded.
"Holy shit..."
"Yeah. He didn't exactly strike me as the forgiving type, so I doubt he'll appreciate me lying to him," Dean commented.
"You lied to Death? About what?"
"I told him I was okay with Sam saying yes to Lucifer."
You sighed quietly, not wanting to admit which side you fell on in this particular argument.
Thankfully, Bobby did have something to add. "You and I have always treated Sam like he's a kid, despite the fact that he's one of the toughest people I know. He's been running into burning buildings since he was what, 12?"
"Pretty much," Dean replied.
"I saw him today, Dean. We both did," Bobby said, looking over at you. "He's not that little kid anymore. He's strong--stronger than any of us give him credit for. I think we should have a little more faith in his abilities."
Dean looked over at you, silently asking for your input. "I've always believed in Sam," you said honestly. "I'm not gonna stop now."
Dean nodded, a look of resigned acceptance crossing his features.
**********
You'd just gotten out of the shower when you heard a knock on your bedroom door. "Just a second!" you called.
You quickly threw on pajama shorts and an old faded Led Zeppelin t-shirt, before throwing open the door without checking to see who it was.
"Dean," you gasped in surprise.
"Hey," he murmured awkwardly. "I, uhh--I was hoping we could talk."
"Oh, umm, sure." You stepped aside to let him in, shutting the door behind him.
He sat down on the edge of your bed, looking extremely uncomfortable.
"Everything okay?" you asked worriedly.
"I'm just thinking about what's going to happen in just a couple days and I--I don't want to leave things unsaid."
"Dean, we don't have to--"
"I need to, (Y/N/N)," he interjected. "Just in case."
You didn't want to think about the very distinct possibility that one or both of you might not survive the coming fight. Your heart ached at the mere thought of losing him, and to your surprise he felt the same way.
"I don't know if we'll make it through this--all I know is I'm terrified of losing you," he admitted.
You shifted on your feet, unsure of what to say.
"I'm not used to being afraid," he whispered. "It's not a feeling I'm accustomed to experiencing and to be honest with you, I kinda hate it."
"You don't have to be afraid for me," you reassured him. "I'll be fine. You know I can take care of myself."
"In every other fight? I'd agree completely...but this isn't any other fight. This is Michael and Lucifer--it's the biggest fight of our lives."
"I know," you murmured. "But I have to believe that at the end of this, we'll all be okay."
He nodded, but you could see the emotions clouding his normally bright green eyes. "I wish I had that same faith."
You gave him a teary smile. You understood where he was coming from, especially given his past experiences.
"Any chance I can convince you to stay back?"
"There's no way that's happening, Dean. If you're facing two archangels, I'm coming with you."
He sighed. "I figured you'd say that." He exhaled deeply, clearly preparing himself to say something else. "Things have been so--intense--for the past few weeks and we haven't really had much of an opportunity to talk. We've been dancing around our feelings and I don't wanna keep doing that--I can't."
You swallowed thickly. "I don't know if I can..."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't want you to say anything if you don't really mean it. You're scared and honestly, so am I. This might be the end, Dean--the end of everything. I just don't want you to say something you think I wanna hear because we might die, or something you don't really feel just because you don't wanna be alone for the end...I can't handle that."
Dean stood up and reached out to you. You'd finally let the tears fall during your speech, and he couldn't stand to see you cry. He reached up slowly, giving you plenty of time to stop him. When you didn't, he cupped your face in his hands, gently wiping the tears from your cheeks.
"I don't want you to ever think I'm choosing you because of some misguided desire to not be alone. I meant what I said, sweetheart--you're the only person I can imagine myself being happy with. It's always been you--I've just been too scared to tell you."
You sniffled softly as he finished wiping the last of your tears. "So why now?"
He continued to gently rub his thumbs on your cheeks, almost afraid to let go of you--as if you would simply disappear. "Because I'm tired of pretending I'm not in love with you. If this really is the end, I don't wanna go out without telling you the truth. If you don't feel the same, I understand, but I needed to--"
You leaned in to press your lips gently against his, silencing the rest of his sentence. He returned your kiss, one hand sliding into your hair to pull you closer to him.
You pulled away from him to suck in some air, leaning your forehead against his as you caught your breath.
"So does that mean you might feel the same?" Dean murmured softly.
You laughed lightly. "Maybe just a little bit."
He grinned as he slipped his arms around your soft waist and pulled you closer. "Just a little?" he teased.
You giggled as his fingers gently tickled your sides. "Or a lot."
"Yeah?"
You bit your lip. "Yeah...there's a strong possibility I feel exactly the same as you."
"Oh, baby, I don't think that's possible."
You looked at him in confusion.
"I love you more than anything--I don't even have words to express how I feel about you. 'Love' just doesn't cut it."
You practically melted in his arms, a warm, teary smile gracing your face. "I don't think I can compare to that, but I do love you, Dean--so much."
Dean was one of the most deeply emotional people you'd ever known and the way he loved was no exception. He was incredibly passionate and he loved with a kind of fierceness that almost frightened you. But at the same time, you felt incredibly honored to be loved by such an amazing man--a man who was loyal, brave, strong, and sensitive (even if he would deny it).
Dean kissed you deeply, holding your body tightly against his own. You could feel his arousal stirring against your stomach and you moaned softly.
"I could kiss you all night," he whispered against your lips.
"Why don't you then?"
Dean raised his eyebrows, a small smirk playing on his lips. "How would you feel if I kissed every square inch of your body instead of just your lips?"
You inhaled sharply, his words sending a shock wave of need straight to your core. "Please," you begged softly.
"Oh baby, you're in for a treat." He grabbed you and spun around, tossing you onto the soft bed.
It didn't take long for you both to be completely naked, Dean's head between your legs, bringing you closer to blissful release with each passing moment.
Every movement of his lips and tongue had you moaning in pleasure. You tangled your fingers in his hair, nails scrapping against his scalp as he continued to drive you wild.
When your orgasm finally hit, your hips began to buck wildly, causing Dean to lay his arm across your abdomen to hold you in place. He continued lapping up your juices and teasing your clit until you dragged him away, whimpers of sensitivity leaving your lips.
He breathed heavily as he hovered over you, licking his lips in contentment. "I didn't wanna stop."
You smiled. "I could tell."
"So I can go back down and finish--" he started moving lower and you grabbed him to keep him in place.
"No!" you said, laughter filling your voice. "I'm a little too sensitive for that right now, Dean."
He groaned in displeasure. "Fine," he mumbled. "Later then."
He leaned down to kiss you and you giggled softly against his lips. His antics always made you smile, so you weren't surprised to find the experience continued in the bedroom.
As he deepened the kiss, you felt his cock brush against your core, a sharp hiss leaving your lips at the contact.
"Sorry, baby," he murmured.
"I'm not," you said lightly.
He looked down at you quizzically, but didn't have time to comment before he found himself lying on his back looking up at you.
You grinned down at him, clearly pleased with yourself.
"Whatcha doin' sweetheart?" he drawled.
"Taking what I want."
Your meaning was quickly made clear as you kissed slowly down his chest and abdomen, stopping only to make a soft sound of appreciation when you came upon his throbbing cock.
You wrapped your hand around it and licked slowly from the base to the tip, giving a flick of your tongue against it to collect the precum.
Dean moaned softly, green eyes watching you intently as you took his cock into your mouth, slowly lowering yourself down until you couldn't fit any more.
"Fuck, baby," he groaned, hand reaching for your hair to tangle his fingers in it.
You hummed happily and began to move, bobbing your head up and down in a pleasurable rhythm. Your hand wrapped around what you couldn't fit into your mouth to ensure his entire member was receiving pleasure.
Dean's hips jerked slightly each time you made a noise or a particularly pleasurable motion, and his grip on your hair tightened considerably.
You made it very obvious you were enjoying yourself, which seemed to only increase his pleasure. You very gently caressed his balls, massaging them in your soft hand as you continued to suck his cock.
Dean's moans and curses had increased in both volume and frequency, signaling he was nearing his peak. You flicked your gaze up to look at his face, meeting his dark, lust-blown eyes.
You held eye contact as you continued your motions, soft moans vibrating against his cock.
"Holy fuck," he whispered. "Gonna cum, baby."
You hummed, signaling your desire for him to let go. You continued to hold his gaze, but you switched your focus to the head of his cock, using your hand to rub the rest.
Moments later, Dean came with a low groan of your name, hips stuttering upwards as you swallowed every drop he gave you.
Just as he'd done to you, you refused to stop until he literally pulled you off his cock, aftershocks shaking his body.
"That was incredible," he breathed.
You smiled down at him, appreciating the praise.
"I wanna taste you again," he begged softly.
Your eyes widened a bit, but you couldn't deny the ache in your core. You wanted to feel him inside you so badly, but you knew he'd need some time to work back up to it.
"I suppose you can have a little taste," you murmured teasingly.
You started to get off of him, but he grabbed you to hold you in place.
"Where ya going?"
"To lay down..."
He raised an eyebrow at you. "Did I tell you to lay down?"
You inhaled sharply. "No..."
"Didn't think so, babe." He shifted so his head was flat against the mattress. "Come on up and sit on my face."
"I'm sorry--do what?"
He laughed softly. "Sit on my face."
"Umm...you sure?"
He lifted his head to look at you. "I've never been more certain."
You bit your lip and considered his words for a moment. You'd never sat on anyone's face, but you'd heard it was an enjoyable experience.
"Alright," you agreed, pulling yourself up to hover over his mouth.
"Lower, please," he said.
You lowered yourself down, but remained hovering.
"(Y/N)," he said harshly. "Sit."
You lowered yourself as much as you could without putting your full weight on him.
"For the love of god," he growled, tugging down on your hips and forcing you to actually sit.
You heard his groan and what sounded like a muffled "Fuck yes", before his tongue slipped between your folds and the assault began.
If you'd thought he was good with his mouth before, it was nothing compared to the incredible feelings you were currently experiencing. You had to press your hands against the wall to hold yourself upright and your thighs were pressed tightly around his head.
The sounds coming out of your mouth were loud enough to wake the neighbors, but you couldn't be bothered to care.
You could feel his tongue pressing into your channel while his nose bumped against your clit with every movement. The combination was amazing and your hips started to move on their own, seeking more friction to push you over the edge.
Dean's grip on your hips tightened and he started to move your hips more forcefully, letting you know it was okay to ride his face.
You took the hint and completely let go, allowing yourself to truly enjoy the experience. Dean's moans vibrated through your body, which only served to increase your pleasure.
Your thighs began to shake and your moans had turned to cries of his name as your hips made one final thrust before you fell apart. The orgasm that crashed through you was easily the most incredible one you'd ever experienced--the high both better and longer than ever before.
You lifted yourself off Dean's face as the pleasure became too much, but your legs were no longer able to support you, so you fell onto the bed beside him. You were both breathless, but Dean wasted no time in rolling over on top of you and pressing open mouthed kisses to your heated skin.
When you finally caught your breath, you murmured, "I've never felt that good in my life."
Dean smirked, pride evident on his face. "I'm not done with you yet, sweetheart."
You bit your lip and looked up into his handsome face. "Is that a promise?"
He groaned softly and his cock pressed against your core. You both inhaled sharply and he lowered his face down to kiss you deeply. "You're gonna be the death of me, you know that?"
"I hope not," you whispered back.
He smiled and placed another sweet kiss to your lips. "You ready?"
You nodded--you'd never been more ready in your life.
He gripped his cock and lined it up with your entrance, pressing in slowly to give you time to adjust.
You whimpered at the feeling, his cock stretching you in ways you didn't know you could be stretched.
"You okay, baby?"
"Mhmm," you hummed. "Keep going."
He waited another moment before continuing to push forward. By the time he was fully seated inside you, you were both breathing heavily and a light sheen of sweat graced your face.
Dean pressed soft, sweet kisses all over your face as he waited for your breathing to normalize. "Let me know when you're ready," he murmured.
After a few more moments, you took a deep breath and said, "You can move now."
Dean's hips began to move slowly, his thrusts languid and gentle at first. As your grip on his cock tightened and the soft sounds you made washed over him, his pace began to increase.
"You're so goddamn tight, (Y/N/N)," he groaned softly. "So warm and wet--fucking perfect."
You pulled his face down to yours to kiss him passionately. "Feels so good, Dean," you moaned.
He knew he wasn't going to last very long...which wasn't common for him. You just felt so incredible and he knew he was going to lose control.
He'd be damned, however, if he came before pulling at least one more orgasm from your sweet body.
Dean grabbed your legs and folded them towards your chest, flexing your body almost in half. This position allowed him to get even deeper inside you and the head of his cock pressed against your sweet spot with each thrust.
"Dean!" you gasped in surprised pleasure. Not very many men had managed to find your g-spot, but Dean wasn't exactly most men.
You dug your nails into his biceps--the only part of him you could reach, and your moans turned into an unending song of pleasure.
He'd be lying if he said he didn't love every part of it. Every noise was like music to his ears--a soundtrack he could listen to forever. The sharp pain of your nails in his skin only heightened his pleasure and the look of pure bliss on your face was an image he wanted to sear onto his brain.
He was desperate to watch you come undone--to see your beautiful face in full view as you fell apart for him. He was certain it would be an image worthy of an art museum.
"You gonna cum for me baby?" he asked lowly.
You nodded rapidly, unable to form a verbal response.
"Can feel you squeezin' me so tight."
He sped up just a little more and a sharp gasp left your lips. He knew you were seconds away--and honestly, so was he.
"Need you to cum for me sweet girl," he begged. "Wanna feel it so bad."
His words sent you over the edge, your third orgasm of the night washing over you and throwing you into pure ecstasy.
Dean held back his own impending orgasm just long enough to ask, "Can I fill you up, baby?"
"Please!" you cried.
Dean came with a loud shout of your name, hot ropes of cum filling your pussy to the brim. His thrusts slowed as you both rode out your highs and his cock began to soften as he pulled out and collapsed on the bed beside you.
"That was--" you began.
"I know," he finished.
You turned to look at him and giggled softly. He grinned widely and let out a warm laugh along with you.
"Who woulda thought we'd end up here?" he asked.
"On the brink of the end of the world," you added.
"There's no one I'd rather be with," he admitted.
You rolled onto your side to face him completely. "Same here, Dean."
He offered you a small smile tinged with sadness. "I love you, (Y/N/N)...and if we die tomorrow, then at least you'll know how I feel about you."
You closed your eyes and sighed. "I love you too. But I want a life with you, so let's try to make it through tomorrow, okay?"
He smiled warmly. "Alright, sweetheart. I'd like that."
"Good," you whispered as you nestled in close to him, laying your head against his chest and sighing softly.
Dean wrapped his arms around you tightly as if he was afraid you would disappear if he let go. You fell asleep like that, one last moment of peace and contentment before the final battle.

I'd Hammer in the Morning (Male!Reader x Thor)
Part One
Tumblr media
"What do you mean, you're quitting?" Tony practically shouts.
"Hey, hey, I didn't say the Q-word."
"But you are."
"I... I'm going to be moving to Asgard, Tony. I can't be your personal assistant from a realm away."
Tony fidgets, swinging an arm in your direction. "A 'realm away?' Look how they've got you talking - you can say 'realm' with a straight face!"
"Please don't make this difficult." you try to get that stern but kind note in your voice that Frigga gets when managing Odin or Thor, but you don't quite get there.
"Fine, I won't. Recharge, I don't accept your resignation."
"Pretty sure it doesn't work that way."
"Don't care." Tony quips petulantly. When Pepper walks in, he immediately bursts out. "Recharge is quitting!"
Pepper smiles at you. "Yes, he is, and we're so excited for you. Congratulations, Y/N."
Tony's jaw drops.
"I know it's short notice, but Tony's going to host your goodbye party before you leave, if that's alright."
"I am?"
She silences him with a look. Oh, there it is.
"Fine, fine..."
And with that, after an all-too-wild party that Pepper does her best to manage, you're ready to leave Midgard as your primary residence.
Thor meets you atop the Avengers Tower, the burning runic circle etched into the helipad, little drones already trying to clear up the ash and cinders.
You run to his arms, excited to see him.
"Did you truly think I would not wish to witness every moment of your arrival to my home? Our home, now." Thor chuckles.
"No, I actually thought I was going to awkwardly have to call Heimdall."
You notice a few other Asgardians are here, glancing around interestedly. "Father is eager for your arrival. He assumed you'd have more... luggage. Insisted I bring porters."
You don't really have much more than a couple large suitcases and a few boxes to contain everything you own. Tony had insisted on digitizing all of your books and movies and games and ensuring you'd have communication and internet even on Asgard with a tiny prism he assured you had a copy of JARVIS on it for your use.
It's his way of showing he cares, because he can't go more than two sentences without snarking, by law, apparently.
"Wait... your father is eager for my arrival? I... I kinda thought Lord Odin wasn't too fond of Midgardians."
"No, he's not disdainful, simply... he worries about me. Our... lifespans."
You balk instinctively, the notion that Thor may long outlive you a little depressing. "Oh."
"But he seems to be much more open. So either he has a plan, or you have simply won him over as a mortal that can wield Mjolnir and learn my mother's seidr."
You do recall Odin becoming more warm to your presence, especially once you got over the hump of learning magic and started to transcend your electrokinesis. Frigga, of course, loves you. "A plan? To, like... deal with my lifespan?"
"Perhaps. Mother mentioned something about a coronation gift."
"Wow, all of this for your boyfriend? They're that eager to have me?"
"All of Asgard is eager. To be completely honest..." Thor chuckles, almost nervously. "I believe they expect a proposal soon."
"Oh." You chuckle a little, almost nervous as well. "And should they?"
"My prince... my king... you know this has been the greatest year of my life. I am more than eager to share all my days with you."
"Thor... I love you too."
"Then perhaps a proposal is not far off at all." He smirks. "Now, are you certain this is all your luggage?"
"Yes. Underwhelming, I know."
"Not at all. It simply means you will have plenty of room for the gifts I will shower you with."
You giggle. And then it hits you that you are truly leaving Earth. You frown softly, looking around as nostalgia crashes over you in waves.
"What ails you, my love?"
"Just... it's suddenly very hard to leave."
Thor takes you in his arms and kisses you. "I swear that as long as the Bifrost stands, I shall take you to Midgard whenever you wish."
You kiss him back. "You're sweet. But... it's just the change. It's always a big moment. But I'm not leaving home, not really. I'm coming home. To you. To Odin and Frigga. Even to Loki."
Thor grins. "Truly, you think of my misguided brother as your family?"
You nod. "Frigga and I have been taking lessons outside his cell lately as part of his rehabilitation."
His eyes shine with something surpassing gratitude and admiration.
"My king... allow me the honor of bringing you home."
And in a flash of rainbow and lightning, he does.

Spoiled Rotten
Tumblr media
𐙚 After being dragged around by your shopaholic girlfriend, she rewards you even after catching an attitude with her.
𐙚 Wanda Maximoff x Reader (tw: none really, public fingering n stuffs, sex in public)
You're miserable. The only real word in your mental dictionary that kept flashing. Not only had you been woken up before ten, because let's be honest the princess needs her sleep. But you were now being dragged around the expensive mall like some keychain.
You sit on the soft leather loveseat, rolling your eyes every two seconds and watching as Wanda tries on another pair of heels.
‘I just need new shoes for some charity event Stark is throwing!’ she had promised.
How many heels did she need to try on? How important was this event?
You had watched her try on wedges, and two pairs of Louboutins (which she put back mind you) and now she was trying on a pair of thin strapped heels that arguably made her ankles look amazing.
Stop, you huff to yourself, you're supposed to be mad at her.
“Baby.” her voice calls.
You look up with a pout.
She doesn't seem to be happy about it either, sighing before doing a few laps and then flips her hair from her shoulder. “What do you think?”
Her gaze is on her ass in the mirror. Your gaze is on it too.
Stop. You're mad! “They're fine.” you reply dully, returning your chin to your propped up palms. You needed to make sure she knew you were bored.
Wanda sighs. “I don't think I like that tone very much.”
“So.” you roll your eyes.
Wanda takes the seat beside you, and leans in. For everyone else, it looks like a loving action between two girlfriends. But you know better.
“You should behave if you expect anything from me today. You're lucky that Natasha was busy today and couldn't take you.” Wanda’s breath feels warm against the shell of your ear and it takes everything in you not to get down on your knees and beg to please her.
But you're upset at her. You're stronger than this.
“Too bad. If Natasha had taken me today I wouldn't be so bored.” you can't help the attitude that comes naturally. You just can't.
You and Wanda had been dating for a couple of years. Having met at one of Tony Stark’s dinners where you were the bright fresh-out-of-high school intern who accidentally spilled wine on her and was more upset about her white dress being stained than the fact you spilled alcohol on a complete stranger.
She found it cute. Had asked you out. It took a couple of dates before you were in her bed, recovering from several orgasms.
You were in love. And so was she.
Wanda was a good lover, and an even better caretaker. But she was a very busy woman. And that's where Natasha had come in. Wanda’s best friend on the compound who was allowed to do everything Wanda did, only emotional connections weren't allowed. You didn't care, Wanda was enough for you.
Wanda never cared for your attitude, and always found a way to fuck it out of you. Whether it be her fingers, tongue, her several vibrators, or the pretty red sparkly strap you worshiped.
At the end of every tantrum, talk back, or sour attitude, you'd be sore and very sensitive. And so apologetic.
You think about it for a second. Full one eyebrow raise and a good cock of the head. “Mmmm…I'm sure I dunno what you're talking about.”
Wanda only smiles. Which makes your stomach drop.
“I love these ones. I'm going to go pay and I'll meet you outside.” Wanda presses a kiss to your head and hurrys to pay.
Despite being somewhat confused, you do as you're told and wait for her outside the store. As you stand there, your stomach begins to bloom anxieties. Tiny little somersaults. You hate not knowing what Wanda will do. Sometimes she was a sadist, other times a straight up sweetheart.
And sometimes you can tell when a certain punishment is coming your way. Other times, Wanda is sneaky and can surprise you. Even after years of punishment. She amazes you like that.
Despite being very vocal about what or what's not okay in the bedroom, Wanda is a very secretive woman. To the Avengers, and even to you. And no matter how much you beg or pry or give her puppy eyes, she doesn't budge. A true dom.
She doesn't give you much time to suffer in your thoughts as a hand is gently rubbing your back.
“What's wrong baby?” Wanda asks, a feigning of innocence in her voice.
“Nothing.” you insist.
“You’re pouting.” she brings her manicured nails up to your face.
“Aren't I always? I want to go home.” you cross your arms. You wonder how long she'll allow this to go on.
“I know. I'm sorry baby. How about ice cream at that cafe you love? Maybe a coffee?” she proposes.
You unwind your arms and go to rub your eyes in a sleepy motion. You think about it for a second, then nod, taking the hand she has held out for you.
✮⋆˙
The cafe is a nice, ten boothed, tucked in hole in the corner of the mall. Wanda orders you your mocha ice cream, with extra caramel to soften you up. For what, you have yet to know.
Wanda sits across from you, with her eyes glued to her phone while you eat and look around.
You enjoy these silences. You don't have to say much, just enjoy one another's presence.
“Wanda?”
Wanda glances up and you turn to look at the redheaded woman standing there. Ah there she is. The pit in your stomach grows.
“Natasha?” Wanda greets with a shake of the hand, and a wide smile on her face.
Natasha sits beside her, and they begin to talk about something that goes in one ear and out the other.
Boring Avengers talk perhaps.
Wanda’s foot begins to rub against your ankle, and you pause. You glance between them, wondering if she's planning something. She's completely wrapped up in the conversation as she manages to manipulate her socked foot up, and align it right against your clothed cunt.
You whimper slightly, causing Natasha to glance at you.
Baby what did I say about brain freezes?” Wanda giggles softly, pressing her foot into your already wet clothed core and begins moving it.
“Don't eat it so fast.” you mumble with ice cream still in your mouth.
Wanda begins to grind her foot more, extremely focused on your clit. “And?”
You swallow quickly, nodding. “Don't talk with your mouth full.”
Natasha smiles at you, then turns back to Wanda.
The best part about the cafe? No one can truly see you feverishly grinding against Wanda’s foot. Forehead matted with strands of hair and small whimpers leaving your mouth.
Wanda’s favorite thing about you?
You were shameless about your pleasure. You'd ride her thigh until you came at least three times, breathless and greedy for more, just while her friends were getting drunk in the kitchen. Or when you ate her out while Natasha fucked you, with other Avengers, Clint and Bruce, a door away.
Even when Wanda was exhausted and spent, she'd watch you with the vibrator or other toys to please yourself while moaning her name loudly. Loud enough that her friend had texted the following day asking if you were okay the next morning.
“Mmm I don't think she's listening to you Tasha.” Wanda says suddenly, pulling you from your thoughts.
When you open your eyes, when had you closed them? You see both of them looking at you.
“Such a pretty girl when in pleasure.” Natasha coos. “Didn't even listen to a word I said.”
You moan and grind harder.
“M’sorry.” you breathe out.
“I'm not even moving my foot anymore. It's all baby.” Wanda informs the other Avenger, leaning back.
“You really enjoy this don't you?” Natasha grins. You nod at her.
“Words.” Wanda warns.
“Yes, Natasha so much. Wand-”
Wanda suddenly pushed her foot forward, causing you to spiral head first into an orgasm. You try your best to stifle it, grinding against her and trying to level your breathing. Small whimpers leave your mouth.
“Try it again.” Wanda offers with a condescending half-smile.
“Daddy makes me feel really good.” you coo, rubbing your now soaked panties against her. Another expensive pair ruined.
It's not like Wanda minds your wetness, she loves it. If she could spend her entire day licking you clean, she would. She truly would.
You fail to realize Natasha has changed seats until her arms grab you and hoists you on her lap. She’s quick to rip your panties off and throw them to Wanda, who catches them and begins to play with them between her fingers.
Natasha pulls her pants down, her own red and black strap-on showing. She wastes no time sliding into your wet cunt and doesn't hesitate to buck up into you.
“Such a good girl isn't she?” Wanda smiles, waving the panties at you. A reminder of your current position. "So filthy she lets her daddy and her daddy’s friends play filthy games with her. Was nice enough to buy her ice cream after she gave me an attitude all morning. And she wastes it while her daddy and daddy’s friends fuck her."
“Truly spoiled. Not even Sharon is that pampered.” Natasha grunts.
You can't say anything. You're biting so hard on your bottom lip, you're drawing blood. But the metal taste doesn't bother you one bit. Your hands are bunched into fists, grabbing onto her shirt for dear life and all your girlfriend can do is smirk and play with your panties across from you.
Wanda is a very very mean woman when she wants to be.
No, it isn't fair, but she's too far gone on her power trip to care. Besides, she knows your limits like the back of her hand. And she's let the assassin play with you enough times to trust Natasha to know them as well.
“Because I allow it. She knows that.” Wanda is quick to correct Natasha’s comment. “Tasha?”
“Hm?” she mutters in response.
“Fuck her harder.” Wanda’s tongue traces her top teeth and there's a sadistic glint in her eye.
“Daddy-” you barely manage.
How anyone has yet to catch onto this public display of insanity is beyond you.
“I know.” Natasha kisses the back of your neck. “You're so behaved for her. Makes me jealous.”
“No it doesn't.” Wanda laughs. “You enjoy using her just as much as Sharon likes the idea of you using her. I still haven't forgotten that phone call of her getting off to you and her."
“I've been thinking.” Natasha begins to slow her thrusts, savoring it. “We should get them together.”
“I dunno.” Wanda shrugs. “Sharon can be mean, and she's very sensitive.”
“Sharon will behave.”
“Will she? I'm not sure Sharon knows how to behave.” she snorts, and slides your panties in her purse.
“I'll make her-” Natasha uses her full strength to thrust into you, causing you to cry out. “-behave.”
Wanda quickly looks around the cafe, everyone far too busy to hear your outburst. She calms and looks at you.
“I don't know. I like the idea but you know me. What baby wants, she gets. What she doesn't want, well I obey.” Wanda gives you a smile. You truly had all of the power in the relationship, and she knew it.
“Almost as if she's the one in control.” Natasha giggles.
“Oh she absolutely is, spoiled rotten aren't you?” Wanda insists.
“Yes daddy.” you nod at her.
“Would you like to see Sharon?” Natasha asks you, fixing hair out of your face.
You sniffle, still sensitive and not all there.
Wanda stands up, and holds her hand out to you. “Let's get you cleaned up princess.”
You take her hand and she wipes stray hairs from your face.
“So?” Natasha asks, re-buckling her belt.
“I'll arrange it.” Wanda makes sure you look decent enough to take to the bathroom.
Natasha stands and kisses your head. “Sharon’s really excited for a sleepover baby. Wanda text me later?”
Wanda only nods as Natasha takes her leave.
You look up at her as she leads you to the bathroom.
“I love you.” you whisper.
“I know, baby. I love you more.” she cups your cheek and leans in to kiss your nose.

Elevator- JamesPotter x GN!Reader
WC: 950
You are stuck in a muggle elevator with James Potter, Who wont stop flirting with you
Tags: Fluff, angst(?), Sarcastic reader, Slytherin reader, Flirty James Potter, Insecure reader
A/N: Wrote this from a prompt, trying to dip my toes into the Marauders fandom not a fully fleshed out fic or anything. A little experiment
Tumblr media
“This might be a bad time to mention it, but I really like your perfume.”
“Oh shut up,” You said with a scowl as you once again pushed the emergency button.
Professor Corbyn had thought it a wonderful idea to assign the seventh year class a lengthy list of ‘muggle activities’ to complete. She had also thought up the brillant of idea of assigning partners randomly. Though you had your doubts about the “randomness”.
Still, it was a project worth a good chunk of your grade. As much as you wanted to, you couldn't blow it off. Which is how you ended up stuck in an elevator with James fucking Potter. James who thought your perfume was of utmost importance at the moment.
“No seriously, it's quite lovely.”
You ignored him and pressed the call button. A moment passed…..Nothing. Great, not even the phone was working.
“Where did you get it? From Diagon alley or-”
“Can you be useful for once?” You interrupted.
James pushed himself away from the wall he had been leaning on, “Can you apparate?”
“No.” You admitted begrudgingly. Getting your license was on your to do list, there just hadn't been enough time. You were really starting to regret not putting it up higher on your list. You fanned yourself with your hand.
“Someone will come for us eventually.” James said with a shrug. He seemed completely care free and not at all worried about the situation at hand.
“Yeah. If we don't die from heatstroke before then.” You settled against the wall opposite of him and slid down till you were seated. It was just a tad bit cooler down on the floor.
“I know how you could cool off.” James said with a smirk. Just in case you hadn't understood his comment, he lifted just the hem of his shirt to reveal a sliver of tanned skin. You quickly looked away, but not before you caught a glimpse of a dark trail of hair disappearing beneath the waistband of his jeans.
“Oh fuck off.”
James copied you and slid down to the floor. Instead of sitting with his legs tucked up to his chest like yours, he instead stretched them all the way out. The elevator was tiny and James’ legs were long, the sides of his red converse knocked against your thighs. Cloth shopping had been another part of the project.
“Have I told you your shoes are ugly?”
“Many times,” James responded unphased, “You just don't like them because they're red.”
“Horrible color.”
“I think you'd look really nice in red. Got one shade specifically in mind actually.”
“Yeah, no” You fidgeted with the fraying sleeve of your dark green jumper. House pride was taken very seriously in Hogwarts. Wearing gryffindor red was an act of betrayal.
“You would,” He insisted, “I even have a jumper that would look perfect on you! Says ‘Potter’ right across the back.”
“Careful now James, I might think you're hitting on me.”
“Did it take you this long to notice?”
You knocked his foot away with your palm. James allowed it before he returned it back to tapping against your thigh. He was such a tease. He had been on this since you two got assigned partners.
“Ha Ha very funny,” You replied dryly.
He tapped his foot rhythmically against your leg, you tried your best to ignore it. The elevator was completely silent. The music had cut off when the elevator had come to a sudden stop with a metallic screech. There was nothing but the sounds of James and your breathing.
Your whole body was on edge. You couldn't help but keep anticipating the worst. Any movement made you feel like the elevator would go crashing to the ground below, You were stuck on the seventh floor and you had heard one to many horror stories.
“I'm bored,” James said, “We should do something.”
“Like what?”
“Why don't we play a game of truth or dare?” suggested James.
“Truth or dare? Seriously?”
“What else do you have in mind?” he replied smugly.
“Fine, let's play.” you agreed reluctantly.
“Okay, I'll start. Truth or dare?” James challenged.
You sat for a moment, mulling over your choices. There weren't many dare options while stuck in an elevator, but everyone and their mothers knew James Potter was a master prankster. He could probably come up with something within a second. Hell, he probably already had fifty dares planned out. Better to play it safe then.
“Truth.”
“Okay..” James pretended to think for a moment, he stroked his chin and gazed up at the roof dramatically, “Why don't you like me?”
Oh. Straight into it. You looked away from him uncomfortably. The thing was, you didn't not like him. Honestly, it was the opposite. But you couldn't let him know that. You would never hear the end of it.
“I don't not like you…You're just loud…” You said carefully.
“I think i’m quite charming honestly,” James smirked.
“Yeah, you think that.” You said with an eye roll
“You don't think I am?” James tilted his head to the side, one loose curl fell in front of his eyes. God damn it. Yes, you wanted to say. I've thought that you are charming since fourth year. But of course, you don't say any of it.
“Not at all.”
“You're forgetting the rules of the game again.” He teased. He leaned forward, only a couple inches closer than before, but still all too close.
“I’m not lying.” You attempted to sound confident and self assured but you couldn't manage to bring your voice above a whisper.
The gods must have heard your prayers because the phone on the wall rang. James and you stared at each other for a moment. He finally pulled his eyes away from you and stood up to answer the phone. You and your feelings were safe for another day.

hi!!! Hope today is treating u good
I was thinking about your ask about the monster141 and readers hobbies, and how gaz tries to be your favorite
In that group dynamic, what would happen if reader started having a favorite? Whether by accident or she just happens to get along with one of them more than the others, how does the 141 pack deal with that?
And even more evil...what if reader was doing it on purpose? Even if she's not being honest about her "favorite" she likes to make them mad/jealous to get what she wants ?
Anyway just wanted to present the thought, please don't stress about answering ❤️
Take care!
Smart reader!! Hehehe!!! Ouf of everyone, Gaz and Soap are the ones with a RAGING praise kink. they might be cocky as hell and receive a lot of praise from the higher-ups, but they still want to get it from you too, their pretty little petmate. They love getting together with you, and they would definitely fight for your attention - especially since, being from a grounded and elevated species, they can give you things that no other duo could. Gaz drags you on the most beautiful flights, while Soap is the softest guy for nesting - they know that you will pick up one eventually, and, despite them being very smart in their military fields, they end up falling for your game...Kyle could be more cunning than anyone else in the pack, but he would still give you the moon and the stars if you would as much as to just give him a bit more attention...and Soap would allow you to go out if you just scratch him behind his ear and call him a good boy. If you ended up liking Gaz more, Soap is the one who is dragging you out, allowing you to walk without a leash and enjoy (somewhat) freedom. If you like Soap more, then Gaz will bring you whole pounds of golden jewelry, of shiny gifts - from candies to little rings. You can play with them for so long, preferring one over the other when it's convenient, but... Oh, neither Price or Ghost are having it. if they can see that you're just a smart little thing who is manipulating them, you'd get a spanking of your life. Price forces you out of every gift you have, making you sleep in a tiny and uncomfortable bed along with other communal pets in the compound - if you want to be a dumb girlie who can't understand what privileges she has as their wife, you might as well see how others are doing. You wouldn't survive a week without fancy fabrics and pretty gifts - and without your favorite snacks, of course. If you're ready to apologize and stop playing favorites, Ghost could sneak up at night and...cool you down before you're finally caving in and begging Price to let you return. As a punishment, you'd lose all of your free roaming privileges - a pretty dumb pet should know her place, and so you are nothing but a little breeding mare for a few weeks - your pussy being pounded by all four of them until the seed takes and you're fucked out dumb, so you'll never pull a scheme like this again.

Hi! so i was thinking about baby and baby jr as always and can you like give us more details bout “the birth” and roman losing his mind
"So like..." Roman's nose twitches, and he looks to the floor. Mouth thin, blood rushing to his face. "I can't touch my wife? You're telling me I can't touch my fucking wife?"
"We need room for medical staff to do the best they can--"
"...You know what? Fine. Touching my wife is how we got into this situation in the first place."
"Roman."
Roman looks to Baby, her eyes pleading with him. The lines of his face falter. He turns back to the doctor.
"Why do you need so many people to work on the both of them? You're lying to me that this will be okay, which it will be because if anything happens to either of them...well, yeah. Fuck you. Fuck, just--I'm sorry but you're lying to me. Why?"
The doctor looks at the Roy with all the pity in the world.
"I understand the fear you're having--"
"No, you fucking don't."
"And I'm aware that the way the situation looks, it can cause even more worry. But for the sake of Mrs. Roy and your baby, we need you to settle."
Settle? Settle? No. Settling, relaxing means Roman doesn't fucking care, like his body isn't about to eat his heart. He'll fly off every handle in this shitty little hospital because that should do something. He needs to be doing something for the both of them. Right? His fear and rage can change the way things cannot fucking be?
"Roman, come here."
And somehow, he'll always listen to her.
He makes way to his wife, she manages to take his hand with a wince. His brow raises with sharp, pained inhale at that.
She kisses his knuckles.
"The both of us are going to be okay, okay? That's what you promised me. And apparently, you're always fucking right...so let us be okay, and let them do their job."
Roman brushes his hand over her head.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. Just let us be okay."
He looks to her stomach, a bump too small to be here.
"Okay."
........BONUS PART.........
You watch Roman, who has somehow fallen asleep while standing up over your daughter's incubator. You know why, the reason is beautiful and pitiful altogether, but if he didn't force you to stay in bed, you'd do the same.
He's afraid that she'll stop breathing, and it's not even where he'll be able to call someone immediately if she does, it's just that he's sure she won't stop breathing if he doesn't take his eyes off her.
You walk towards the both of them, body in pain from the surgery and fear that's still there like the moment isn't over...but she's here. And you love her already. Her daddy does, too, to the point of a fear that might kill him. He might collapse right now.
You swallow, coming up at the sight of the tiny, tiny baby you get to call yours. She's so little. And perfect, somehow. Even after everything.
Even when you can see her heart beating through her chest.
"Hi, baby."
Roman jolts.
"What? What happened? Is she--"
"She's fine. She didn't go anywhere."
You press two fingers to Roman's cheek, turning his sleepy head towards your newborn, earlyborn daughter.
You watch him stare. Unblinking. Eyes hard and soft.
"Yeah. Better fucking not. I'm watching you."

— found family | inner demons prologue
Tumblr media
pairings: leah williamson x teen reader
summary: reader discovers that family isn't always blood
This is a sort of prologue to inner demons, some background of readers' life in the early years when she transferred to the club.
Also, this is rewrite as I wasn't happy with the original that I posted.
Tumblr media
There's always been tell-tail signs that you should've recognised, all throughout the past several years and yet you will still so obviously blind to it all.
It wasn't easy to come to terms with things, but the realisation of it all didn't sit right at all, and in turn you weren't exactly sure how to cope with it all.
It was clear as day for everyone else around to see, your mother was a complete narcissist, she was manipulative and gaslighting. It was something that she had been doing your whole entire life, always making you out to be the bad day in every situation and acting like she was the victim.
How were you so obliviously blind to see that?
You guess your niave self choice to always refuse to believe it, it was the easiest option to just do that.
Looking back to the last several years, your childhood was full of moments like it, but of course you had always thought that your upbringing was completely terrible, it could have been a worse situation.
Growing up, it was only ever the 2 of you, you and your mum. Your parents split up when you were little, the seperation was messy and ever since that day, you'd always been to blame for the reason that it never worked out.
You had always wondered how exactly could it be your fault? You were 3 years old when your dad walked out, so how could it be like that?
"You were always to much to handle, Y/N. He couldn't cope," Your mum would make the excuse, all of them long nights when you would have your tiny arms wrapped around her and sob your little heart out when you asked where he was.
"I'm here, you've got me. You've only ever got me," Her words were imbeded in your head from the day that you'd decided to try and have an open conversation about the possibility of finding your dad, "Why go and find him? Haven't I been good enough. I'm the one that's looked after you for all of these years, and yet this is the thanks that I get in return!?"
It was always something like that, a way to guilt trip you and you always ended up feeling for it.
Her manipulation was completely toxic, of course you didn't realise it until later on in life.
Eventually, you just choice to accept that for the reason that you had such an estranged relationship with your dad.
Tumblr media
"Aren't you happy for me? I made it, mum!" You exclaim, you were so happy enough to share the news with her, but you were left so dumbfounded by her response which left you feeling shame and judgement for even wanting to tell her.
The harsh statement of this current conversation with the older women is leaving a bitter taste in your mouth and make you question every single thing in life.
"Yes, you have made it Y/N, but you know, you only have me to thank for that now, don't you?" Your mum once again found a wa to make it about herself, regardless of the situation.
It was always and only ever about herself, no matter what type of news you wanted to share with her. Why was so selfish to not care about you?
"I'm sure that you can find some way to thank me though," You listen to your mum continue to talk and you resist the urge to scoff, "After all of these years and the amount of money I have spent on football boots for you, you'd be nowhere if it wasn't for me and I think you owe me now, don't you?"
Her words stun you and there's a lot of emotions that are building up inside of you. Ultimately you feel confused, how can she manage to twist this to make it all about herself, but of course shes' quick enough to make an excuse to end the call when she grows bored of talking to you.
You should know better, every single phone call has the same pattern to end the same way and you always leave with a pang of guilt for making a life for yourself.
It turns out that this phone call was no different either.
You are so excited to spill the news of making it into the senior squad of the national team, however the excitement soon fades and now you're replaced by mixed feelings of confusion, anger and upset instead. You fight to hold back the tears during the initial phone call but now its' over, you feel on the verge of a breakdown.
You feel like your news is a big deal, you've only been a part of the arsenal women's first team for shy of a year but it feels like such a massive achievement to be selected to represent your country and straightaway, the first person you thought-- you wanted to call was your mum. You thought she was going to be so pleased for you, so excited about it but you can't be further away from the truth.
Tumblr media
The conversation happened a week ago, yet you still couldn't let it escape your mind.
Ever since the phone call, you had tried to distance yourself from her but even that hurt to do. The women was the only blood related family member that you had, it had only ever been the two of you, sticking together through thick and thin.
"You seem quiet tonight," Your guardian and fellow team member, Leah, perches on the arm of the sofa as she looks at you in concern, "I'm about to start cookin' tea soon. How do you feel about chicken nuggets and smiley faces?" She wonders.
"That sounds good to me," You shrug your shoulders and glumly stare staight ahead at the wall in front of you, the TV is playing but you barely even pay attention to whatever it is that's playing.
Its' been a long day with training ahead of a crucial game in the season, but all you can think about right now is the conversation you had with your mum a week ago previously on a constant loop in your head.
You still can't help but think about the conversation; The bitterness, the manipulation, every single time you thought about it, it made you think of every single time that something else happened like this throughout the years.
Maybe your childhood wasn't as great as you really thought it was?
"Okay," Leah nods and smiles in agreement but she doesn't move away just yet, "Is there anything that you want to talk about at all, bubs?" You know she's only asking for a bit more insight on your current mood, after returning from her own rehab session to find you shut away in your bedroom, the entire shift in mood was concerning to her.
The usual car rides over the past week had been quiet instead of the raised music level and sarcastic comments that the blonde was used to, replaced instead by the quiet, dull mood with you slumped against the car door and staring out of the window.
Leah definitely knew there was something wrong with you.
"Nope, I'm fine," You stand firm on your reply, shaking your head and keeping your eyes glued on the TV screen, choosing to look anywhere other than at the blonde, who would be able to see right through you in seconds.
"Are you sure?" Leah questions, furrowing her eyebrows in concern as she could see the tears welling up in your eyes, "Bubs, what's the matter? You look like you're gonna cry," She notes, worriedly.
"I... I'm fine," You mumble, fighting to keep the tears at bay until you can escape to your bedroom and allow yourself to be vulnerable when you're alone.
You always feel complete shame to show any sort of vulnerability in front of anyone, let alone the blonde defender who has taken you under her wing ever since you joined during the transfer window of 2022.
Crying only shows signs of weakness, you refuse to be seen as weak.
"Okay," Leah exhales a sigh and taps your knee gently, deciding to drop the subject when she realises you aren't be open and talk about things, "Its' okay if you don't want to talk about it, but just remember that I'm always here to listen, alright? Anytime that you want to talk, I'm here,"
Unforuntately, you are too stubborn to not give in and blurt everything out there and then to her. You feel like you still need time to wrap your head around the idea and see things for how they really are now.
"Uh huh. Thanks," You murmer in repsonse, getting up from the sofa and shuffling away to the confined space where you can be alone.
Leah exhales another sigh and shakes her head, heading into the kitchen to make a head start on dinner but she can't help but still be worried about you. Of course the women knew better than to try and get you to talk if you didn't want to though.
The blonde has always been around to witness moments like this and the backlash of it, you hadn't told her outright what was going on but she already had an idea what it was about.
All of your upset stems down to the one person causing you to be like this and she hated it every time you were left upset when you spoke to her.
Every single time you and your mum spoke, you would always become quiet and be in a general bad mood, often resulting in lashing out at people around you as a coping mechanism.
You know that all the arsenal girls have their own opinions on your mother, but they would never voice them out loud to you, because you wouldn't agree with it, but you knew it. They know it wouldn't be fair on you as the youngest member in the squad, even after the countless times they had seen the girl upset by her own mums actions.
You were so grateful for every single of the girls on the team, Leah especially, she'd always been there for you since day one.
Ever since you moved in with Leah, there's been several nights where she would be the one to comfort you and pick up the pieces, waking up in the middle of the night to hear your heartbroken sobs and feel her own heart shatter every single time, wanting nothing more than to take away any sort of pain that you were experiencing.
It was heartbreaking for all of the team to witness and always sought out to comfort you, they knew no matter what they said, it still wouldn't stop you contacting our mum.
Ultimately, it was your own decision to make soon enough when you turn 18 and until then they would be there to pick up the broken pieces when your mum let you down.
It happened time and time again, unfortunately.
You have lashed out way too many times as a result of that.
None of the girls ever took it to heart of course, they were old and wise enough to realise that none of your anger was directly aimed towards them and there was much bigger issues to be dealt with.
They have always vowed to support you, regardless of what happens in the long-run.
Tumblr media
"I... I should've realised sooner," You think to yourself as you lay crumpled up in your bed that following night, its' almost 4 am in the morning, but you were still wide awake with your thoughts spiraling.
You can't help but think about things, replaying every single conversation with your mum that you have had, the numerous times that you've started to talk to her and she's cut you off with her own problems.
Why was it always like this? It wasn't fair.
The first mistake was ignoring her gaslighting this whole time.
The second being that you believed her manipulation for years, always twisting things to make it seem like she was the victim in the different situations - first when you were a child and even now as your nearly an adult.
Why had it taken you so long to finally realise it after all of these years? Why couldn't you have just realised it sooner?
Without much realisation to the current moment, your sobbing aloud with a tight clutch of your pillow. The pent up anger is replaced by sadness and loss, your grieving the loss of a women who you have always seeked the approval off and now you realise you can never have it.
The phone call was the last chance, the reality of it all coming to light.
Every time you have now learned to understand that youwhen speak to her, it's nothing but a vicious cycle of emotional abuse, something you were so oblivious to believe.
As much as you didn't want to believe it, it's true. Its' clear as day of what it is but yet, you still find it hard to believe it.
It's your mum, your flesh and blood, so could she be like that?
Tumblr media
The sound of your sobs were what woke Leah up, she's quick to pad out of her bedroom and push open your bedroom door to find you crumpled up in your bed, "Bubs?" The women stands in the doorway of your bedroom, her heart cracks to see you looking so distraught and vulnerable.
Without any hesistance, the blonde is quick move to be beside you on your bed and envelope you in a warm hug, "Its' okay, its' okay. I'm here now," She's quick to comfort you, she wouldn't ever stop doing that as long as you need her, "Let it all out, I'm right here," She adds.
Leah keeps you in her arms, gently rocking you as she runs her slender fingers through your messy bedhead, "Just let it all out, alright? I'm here, I'm not going anywhere," She reassures you.
As always, she's patient enough to wait for you to calm down before she gives you chance to speak, she won't ever push you to talk if you don't want too.
"L... Le," You cry aloud, clutching onto her tightly. Your breath becomes more shaky as sobs wrack your body, trying to find the words but nothing wants to come out of your mouth right now.
"I'm here, it's okay," Leah repeats in a calming voice, continuing to try and comfort you in the best way that she knows, but she already knows it's going to be a long night ahead of them, or day rather.
An emotional night that will leave you drained tomorrow for sure.
A vicious cycle on a loop, once more.
"Ready to tell me what's going on inside that head of yours now, hm?" The blonde quietly asks with caution, already having a feeling that she knows the answer to that question.
There's a brief pause of silence in the room and the blonde thinks that you wouldn't talk, but regardless of that, she still continues to comfort you and reassure you that she's here and not leaving at all.
To Leahs' surprise though, you do start open up this time though and the words spill out of your mouth without you even thinking about it.
"I... It's my mum," You mumble quietly, making the mistake to speak aloud than think it like you thought you have done, "I... I should've realised. I should have done,"
Leah furrows her eyebrows on confusion, "What should you have realised, bubs?" she questions about what you mean.
Snapping your head in the blondes' direction, you bite your bottom lip and debate whether to be open with your thoughts that you have been trying to buried.
"I should have realised about my mum, she's so... she's so toxic," You admit as you try to fight more tears from spilling, "Why does everything I tell her-- Why does it always get turned back around so its' about her?"
There it is. You've blurted it all out in the open, your feelings were laid out now and there's no more hiding how you feel.
Leah smiles sadly and continues to hold you in her arms, "I... I'm sorry bubs," she speaks honestly.
"So many people, so many people have told me-- They've warned me, you've warned me about her, but I... I never wanted to listen, did I?" You confess, the tears spilling again and you don't care a less if you look like a blubbering mess right now, but you still can't stop the emotions pouring out right now, "And now... now I finally realise how its' always been. Why is she like this, Le?" You question.
"I can't say I know the answer to that one, bubs. I wish I knew," Leah replies, exhaling a sigh as she can't fathem herself how your mother can be like to her you, her own child.
The blonde feels so much for you, your still so young and she always wished that she can make the situation better for you.
"Listen, I know its' hard but you've got us. All of us girls here at arsenal, we're all here for you and you're so loved by all of us," Leah continues to tell you gently, running her slending fingers through your hair.
"I... I just want her to love me, and she just... she doesn't even care about my feelings!" You state, roughly trying to wipe at your tear stained cheeks to the point where you made them red and angry, "Why does she always throw everything back in my face? Everything that I have ever done, she makes it about herself. Always!" You cry.
"I know, I know it hurts... I know that it does," You keep your head buried in the blondes' chest as you hiccup from the sudden breakdown in the middle of the night, "And I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I'm so sorry, because it's not fair on you, bubs," She adds, trying to comfort you in the best way that she can for you.
The whole wave of emotions leave you feeling entirely exhausted in the end, you are trying to fight to keep your eyes open as you lie slumped up against the blonde.
"Come on you, lets' get you back into bed, yeah? I mean you're almost falling asleep on me here, bubs," Leah notes your exhaustion and is concerned for your lack of sleep, trying to get you to crack a smile even as it feels impossible right now, before she gently moves you to lie back in bed.
"M' not tired," You mumble, trying to protest against the idea of sleep.
"I don't think thats' true now, is it?" Leah chuckles, tucking you into bed, "I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this now, bubs, but you know that you have a family here with us. We may not be blood, but we really do love you so much," Before you know it, your eyes are fluttering shut but you don't miss hearing the blondes' words before she presses a gentle kiss against your forehead.
You really had found your family here at arsenal.

Last night's kiss with John
Tumblr media
How deep do you have to get to be considered a fool in love? After last night's events, you are sure you are far deeper.
Without even realising, you take a hand to your chin, holding it just like John had, a smile gets to your face and you happily sigh, your hands aren't rough like his, but the act helps you to revive what you considered one of the most romantic moments in your life.
He took you to the staircase of an abandoned factory. At first you were scared as hell, but the place quickly grew in you, so quickly you couldn't help but to search for refuge in it now.
When John admitted this was the place he went to be alone, away from business and family, you almost melted in his hands.
You never had seen him so serious, he's usually the brother who jokes around and lights up the moods, but back then he seemed to be deep in the moment, not thinking of any jokes or funny comments.
"I show you my quiet place once and you steal it from me?" John suddenly steps into the place.
"J-John!" you jump in surprise, "I thought you'd be home at this hour,"
"I came to do some thinking, now it seems I'll have to do some talking," he sits beside you in the old, crackling stairs.
"What's the matter?"
"...fucking Lizzie,"
"What about her?"
"She's a fucking liar,"
"What do you mean?"
When John told you what Tommy did to test Lizzie's loyalty, you jokingly offered yourself to beat her up, but inside of you was on fire, you were happy John no longer wanted to marry her, sad for his broken heart and hopeful he perhaps now could notice how much you like him.
"Well, what are you going to do now?" you ask.
"I don't know, hire a babysitter since everything went wrong, I think,"
"Not everything, you said you wanted someone to take care of your children, right?"
"Yeah, swear to you, y/n, they're out of control, crossing all the fucking lines, they-"
"I can do it,"
"What?"
"I can take care of them, for a smaller price than a babysitter would charge,"
"Why would you? I'm telling you they're fucking mad, tiny little monsters!"
"Well, because you're my friend, I wouldn't mind teaching them some manners,"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! Children don't scare me,"
"Not even Shelby ones?"
"No," you smile and John lowers his head, thinking of your offer.
"You're not doing this because we kissed last night, are you?"
"What if I am?" you ask, taken back by the look on John's face.
"Fuck, y/n, I just told you of Lizzie and you- Fucking hell!"
"I- I just- I didn't think you were so-"
"I think I should go now,"
"No, John! Look, I'm sorry,"
"Yeah, yeah! But, uh, I- I gotta go now,"
"... Okay," you agree holding tears, why did you have to be so stupid?
"Hey, love!" John calls a few steps away, "It's fucking sexy that you're so straightforward, it's a good play, I'm telling you, it's just that…" John shrugges, losing his words.
"Yeah," you offer him a tiny smile, "good night, John."

yunho: baby
yunho: wait at the science building later, please? i'll come get you so we can walk to my car together
you: okee ☺️
yunho: ☺️ see you later? enjoy the rest of your classes
you: you too, my bighead!
Yunho smiles at his phone before tucking it away, slowly following Yeosang to their group study session.
"Should I even ask why you're smiling like that?" Yunho looks up at Yeosang and chuckles.
"Just Y/N."
"Of course. Is she in class?"
"Yup. She's in the back row being all distracted."
"Perfect way to pass time in my honest opinion." Yeo clears his throat. "I've been meaning to ask you out of curiosity."
"What's up?"
"Have you guys told each other 'I love you' and everything?"
"Mm, no. Not yet at least."
"Not yet?" Yeosang smiles. "You feel that way for her, don't you?"
"I do. I just.. I don't know? I don't know if it's too soon. What if I scare her off?"
"Nah, doubt that. You can't put a timer on these things."
"True. Plus, it sounds cliché and like it's out of a movie, but I truly wanna wait 'till it feels right to say it to her."
"That makes sense."
"Trust me, I really do feel that way for her." He lets out a breath as they look towards the library building, the sun from behind slightly blinding them as they approach the doors. "She has literally become my bestfriend. It's crazy how life works."
"I know. I remember when you first told me you were helping her out for literature." Yeosang chuckles. "Or when you'd save her in the back lot."
"Still can't believe that was even real." Yunho does a tiny head tilt. "He's really something."
"What was up with Y/N's birthday thing? How did he even know?"
"I don't know. Word gets around fast. Why wouldn't Seonghwa know? Especially since it has to do with Y/N."
"Can't wait till the day he leaves you two alone. Must be fucking annoying to deal with."
"I try not to mind it. Though, I think he's been getting bolder lately and I can't put my finger on it."
"Has Y/N said anything?" He shakes his head.
"No. Maybe I'm just overthinking. She just seemed a little weird about him at her birthday party."
"Well, yeah. It's Seonghwa." Yeosang waves at their study group sitting at the far end of the library in the loud section.
"Yeah, but, I don't know. It was different. She seemed bothered about something but she hasn't told me anything. I assume it's not a big deal."
"Hm. Well, I'm sure it's not either. Just Seonghwa being himself, maybe."
"Mm, whatever though." Yunho greets the study group as they approach the table. "She's my girlfriend now, and that won't change." Yeosang gives him a small smile before they settle with the group and begin their long study session together.
Tumblr media
"Remember, we have a test next class. Make sure you study everything I included in the study guide. Don't skip on anything just because you think it's a minor detail! Nothing is minor!" Your professor says before dismissing the class. You let out a sigh, already stressing over the next test. You didn't do bad on the first test, but you also didn't do the greatest. Thankfully, you're still at a good point in the semester, which gives you enough time to pull your grade up.
Once the initial rush of people leaving the classroom dies down, you pack up your things and head out the door. You hurry out of the classroom and down the steps, excited to see your boyfriend after yet another long day. For a split second, the building is crowded with other students leaving their classes and heading to their next destination— whether it be the next class, the library or to their cars. It's a sudden swarm of people that you don't even realize Seonghwa had stepped out of his own class, following you down the corridor.
"Y/N." You hear Seonghwa's voice behind you. You try to mind your own business, subtly rolling your eyes as you walk out of the science building to reunite with Yunho.
Except, he isn't exactly there yet and Seonghwa grabs you by the wrist.
"Y/N." He repeats, turning you to face him.
"What are you doing?" You question him.
"Just a second." You let out a loud, heavy sigh. "Why are you being like this?"
"Like what?"
"Like you ignoring me. You haven't answered any of my texts or calls—"
"Why do I need to?" You raise a brow. "You're not actually serious, right? I have no reason to respond to you, Seonghwa. Don't you have places to be, people to see?" You pause. "Don't you realize you're a little too late? This was something I needed from you way before. I don't need it from you now."
"I know it's late, but I don't wanna give up on this."
"This? This has been done for a long time, you and I both know that. You're only worried about losing the only safety blanket you've ever had. Why can't you just move on and let me be happy?"
"Happy?" Seonghwa almost scoffs. "With him? Okay, baby." He shakes his head. "Listen. Enough of this for real. Can you please just hear me out, I'll explain and apologize properly—"
"Seonghwa, stop calling me that. What don't you understand about no?" You say almost at a whine, his hand still having a grip on the edge of your wrist. You truly don't want to entertain this, but Seonghwa almost gives you no way out, no way around his bullshit, and unfortunately, that'll be the root of everything that unfolds tonight. Yunho is happily [and eagerly] making his way down to you after the long, heavy study group session, while Yeosang decides he's gonna stay behind in order to hit the gym and get his workout in. Yunho is a few minutes late, but he knows you'll still flash him that beautiful, million-watt smile he adores so much before wrapping your arms around him.
He can't wait.
But, Yunho slows in his steps just as he's close to the front doors; familiar voices filling the surprisingly empty, quiet space.  It's you, and he already feels himself boiling with anger when he hears who else is occupying your time right now.
"Why haven't you even said anything about the flowers and the card I gave you? Did you even get them?" Yunho overhears Seonghwa ask you, and he furrows his brows. What flowers and card? You don't answer right away, and Seonghwa is quick to follow up. Yunho doesn't even get to hear your response about it and the most upsetting part of all this— is that this is how he finds out about everything.
Not from you, but from Seonghwa.
"You couldn't even send me a text? I was worried you didn't get it. I wanted to talk to you afterwards."
"What is there to talk about?"
"Yeah, what is there to talk about?" You and Seonghwa turn towards Yunho, who stands there with his hands dug deep into his pockets. His jaw is slightly clenched, head titled to the side while he waits for a response. Seonghwa lets out a pathetic chuckle, hand slipping down your wrist as he fully faces him.
"Loverboy sounds upset over a little talk."
"A little talk? Is that an add-on for the flowers and card you sent her?" Yunho sounds more stern, more angry. You can't even blame him, but at the same time, it's unusual for you to hear him this way. You're not sure what could come out of this and you don't necessarily want to find out.
"I'm sorry, should I have sent you some, too?" Seonghwa steps closer to him and the panic starts to settle in for you. You wish someone, anyone, was around to help. Because although you don't think Yunho will let this blow out of proportion, you aren't 100% about your answer. You're not sure how Yunho manages his anger in these situations and you're not sure what triggers him; what tips him over the edge and is the 'cherry on top.' Seonghwa has always rubbed him the wrong way and you don't think this could end remotely pretty. "I'll take note of that for next time so you don't have to sit there and stare at Y/N's."
How you wish Seonghwa had just gotten the point. Why couldn't he just let you be? Why was he out to ruin your happiness so badly?
"Seonghwa. This is done. Let it go." You warn him, but it doesn't clear anything. You aren't getting through to any of them.
"Back up. I'm not asking." Yunho clenches his jaw as he comes face to face with Seonghwa, making him give off a small scoff.
"Aw. Loverboy's mad—" And that's exactly the tipping point for Yunho. He's not sure why, he usually has a lot of patience. He usually brushes things off easily, doesn't hold a grudge or stay angry for long. But, Seonghwa? He was a different story, especially because of the history you have with him. Every little thing about Seonghwa pisses him off— down to the way he moves, breathes, acts like he can always get his way so easily, so quickly. Before he can even think about the consequences, or how you'd feel, Yunho swings at him, making Seonghwa stumble backwards.
"Yunho!—" You gasp, Yunho's initial punch is pretty rough that it had Seonghwa in shock before being able to register what just happened.
"Fuck you—" Is all Seonghwa spits out before going at Yunho. The two continue to go at it, pushing and gripping at each other's shirts, rough attempts at landing punches;
They're almost successful with tearing each other's heads off until you step in between and get involved.
"Stop!" You step in between to try and prevent the fight from escalating even more. "Stop it!" You push Seonghwa back when he tries coming for Yunho, a campus security guard dashing towards all of you to completely break up the scuffle.
"Knock it off! The hell are you two doing acting like this on campus? I suggest you two part ways now before we call the cops over!"
"Yo, what the fuck?!" Mingi comes from around the corner, grabbing at Seonghwa's arm to pull him back. "The fuck are you doing, dude?" He looks at his bestfriend in disbelief.
"Why don't you ask your friend who fucking started it—"
"Me?" Yunho spits, while Seonghwa wipes the blood at the corner of his lip. "I wouldn't have had to if you just knew how to back the fuck off!" Yunho is angry, continuing to raise his voice. "Let me catch you sending shit to my girlfriend one more time and see what the fuck I'll do—"
"Yunho." You say softly, tugging back at his arm.
"Are you serious?" Mingi looks at Seonghwa. "You don't go messing around with people's relationships, Hwa. You need to let this go, you look crazy!"
"Oh, so all of a sudden you're sticking up for your friend?"
"Yeah, because he is my friend and it's just shit you don't do! What the fuck don't you understand about that?! You fucking deserved that shit!" Mingi shakes his head before pushing Hwa forward, pulling him off to the side to continue talking to him.
"Babe." You turn to Yunho after Mingi and Seonghwa create good distance, hand coming up to cup Yunho's cheek. But, he turns, slightly shaking his head at you. You pull your hand back and feel your heart drop, the look in Yunho's eyes being one that you've never experienced before.
Sadness, hurt, anger.
Mostly sadness, hurt.
"What flowers was he talking about, Y/N?" His chest is still rising at a somewhat uneven pace, doing his best to calm down after the adrenaline rush.
"H-he left them at my doorstep after we came back from the snow. I'm really sorry, Yunho, I didn't tell you because I tossed it out and—"
"But still, it's the fact that you didn't tell me after all this time." Yunho's brows are tightly knitted together, and the look causes your heart to sink even deeper. "Why did you have to let me find out this way? Were you going to tell me about this too if I hadn't come right away?"
"I just didn't get around to telling you because I didn't think it would matter— Seonghwa doesn't matter."
"If he didn't, then wouldn't you be able to tell me without questioning it so much?"
"Yunho, no. I'm sorry, no." You repeat, tears pricking your eye lids. "I didn't mean for it to seem like that. I really didn't mean to hide this from you."
"Did you think about keeping them?"
"I—I, no. I thought—" Yunho hears you stuttering and his throat suddenly feels dry. Why can't you just tell him? Even if Seonghwa didn't matter to you, why couldn't you trust him enough to tell him?
Why couldn't you feel comfortable enough to tell him?
"Be honest with me, Y/N. That's all I've ever asked. Did you or did you not think about it keeping it?" Silence. And god, it is the most gut-wrenching silence Yunho has ever endured.
Yup. Got it.
The answer is clear.
You did think about Seonghwa. You thought about accepting the flowers as his apology, you thought about the possibility— even if it was for a brief, splitting second. Seonghwa did matter for one fucking second, and that's what bothers him.
"Yunho, please. I just thought—" You can barely get through your sentences.
"Did you, or did you not?"
"I thought about keeping it, but it was so stupid. I was just blinded for a second, and I realized it didn't matter to me. He doesn't matter to me. At all. I promise. Everything just caught me off guard." You try to grab for his hand but he steps back. "Yunho, it was all stupid. I tossed it out so quickly. I wasn't going to do anything, I wasn't going to text, nothing."
"But, why does it feel like after everything he's put you through, you still believe he'd genuinely change? Why does it feel like a part of you is still actually holding onto that?" Well, when Yunho says it to your face like that, you feel dumb. Not once did you ever think about running back to Seonghwa and leaving this behind. But, you were blinded in that quick second from your history with Hwa, being close and sharing moments for months. Asking Seonghwa for little gestures like this, for more attention; even though it was a ride, you still had history.
And yes, maybe at one point you wanted to be the girl that changed him.
But today, you can't even imagine going back to that point. Not after being with Yunho, not after the happiness he's brought you.
Not after you realize how much you genuinely and truly love Yunho.
You don't wanna lose him.
This is all so stupid, and a huge misunderstanding. But, you're the only person to blame here— if you hadn't given Seonghwa the time of day, if you had just told Yunho right away without second-guessing it, if you hadn't hesitated; you wouldn't be here right now.
"I'm not!" Your tone raises and it sounds like a whine at this point. "I'm not, Yunho. Please."
"Look, tonight was a lot." He sighs, running his hand through his hair before wincing and looking down at his knuckles. "I was excited to see you after a long day, Y/N. I was really looking forward to being with you. I wasn't expecting all of this and honestly, I don't know what's worse? Stumbling upon all of this the way I did, or not knowing at all."
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. It was stupid and fucked up of me, and I'm sorry." You repeat, tears streaming down your cheeks.
"Maybe you just need to think about what you really want." Yunho shrugs. "I thought you were over the whole thing with Seonghwa, but clearly not if you're still considering on giving him the time of day."
"No, no, Yunho. Please don't. It's not that." You try to lace your hand with his, but he gently brushes it off with a shaky sigh. He doesn't wanna leave you. He never wants to be without you. But, tonight was a lot for him to handle, and it is overwhelming. He hasn't really felt this protective over someone. Of course, it's only natural since you're his girlfriend. He'll always protect you. It's just that Seonghwa brings something out of him that he doesn't necessarily like, and he wants it to be gone for good. It feels unhealthy and icky;
The anger, the frustration, the anxiety.
He hates it. And he doesn't want this to be a thing in your relationship. Plus, he still feels himself fuming with anger and he just can't possibly talk to you while he feels that way.
So yes, he's overwhelmed and he needs to get over this.
"No, seriously. You really should think about it. I know where I stand but I'm not so sure you do." He lets out another disappointed sigh. "I'll take you home, but we should probably just be in our own places tonight."
"Okay." You say close to a whisper, sniffling as you wipe away at your face. You don't even try to fight it anymore simply because you know Yunho needs his space right now. He begins to walk off with you slowly trailing behind, head hung low after everything that happened tonight. Everything happened so fast you're also having to process it all on this walk over to the lot. Suddenly, you're pulled out of your thoughts when you hear footsteps picking up behind you, followed by a familiar, deep voice.
"Yo, wait up!" Mingi says. "You good? I'm sorry about him, he's actually losing it."
"You're sorry? Mingi, when the fuck is your friend gonna grow up so that you're not apologizing on his behalf?" Mingi lets out a breath as his eyes dart from you, back to Yunho's. "Seriously. I don't mean to throw that your way, but it's not even just about tonight. Your friend knows no boundaries and that's crazy to me."
"I know, he's got things to sort through but that's his own problem now. I already told him multiple times. Me and San did." Mingi shakes his head.
"Doesn't take much to grow the fuck up and take ownership of your own fuck-ups once in awhile."
"Let him keep learning the hard way. He will, eventually. He deserved that tonight."
"He can try all he wants, nothing's gonna change between me and her. Hope he understands I'm not going anywhere after tonight."
"Of course." Is all Mingi could respond with because of course Yunho wouldn't go anywhere— why the fuck would he let Seonghwa get in the way? He shouldn't. And Seonghwa needs to know that. "Anyway, just wanted to see if you two were okay. For real." Yunho sighs.
"Mmyeah. Thanks." He responds as Mingi daps it up. "We're just gonna head home."
"Drive safely. Text me if you need me." Mingi gives you a small smile before running off to tend to his friends, San now also getting dragged into all his mess.
The walk over is quiet, but Yunho still opens the passenger door for you when you finally get to his car. You hate the silence that falls between you two, but you understand Yunho is upset and needs his own time away from everything, from you, even. You can't help but cry even more into your hands when he pulls into the apartment lot, Yunho letting out a breath as he puts the car in park. He looks over at you and his heart breaks because he truly hates to see you cry, and he never wants to be the reason behind you being sad or hurt.
"Hey. Don't." He says softly, hands coming up to pry your own hands away from your face. He gently wipes the tears away, making sure no drop is missed.
"I'm sorry, Yuyu." You repeat.
"I know, it's okay."  He says, even though right now, it's not.
"Is it?"
"Let's get you home, okay?" He just looks at you with a soft expression before unbuckling his seatbelt. He comes over to open your door, locking his car when you step out and slowly make your way to your apartment. When you get to the steps, you turn towards him with a small pout. Yunho pulls you into a hug and kisses the top of your head, wiping any remaining stragglers from staining your cheeks. He's not happy, but he's trying to send you off on a calm note— hoping this could at least ease you for the night. "Get some rest."
"I'll see you tomorrow, right?" He doesn't say anything before he pulls away and takes a few steps backwards. "Yunho." You call for him in that tone of yours that always makes him so weak.
"Y/N, please. I just need to shake this off. That's all. Goodnight." All you can do is simply walk away before running up the steps and into your apartment. Chaery is the only one home, cleaning her dishes after cooking a good meal for all of you to share.
"My love is home! I cooked!" She says happily, but her smile dies when she sees you set your bags down and cry into your hands. She drops everything and rushes over, throwing her arms around you while guiding you to the couch. "Hey, what's wrong? What happened?" She brushes the hair away from your face while you continue to cry. You don't respond for a bit, signaling for Chaery to just hold you and let you be.
You cry, and you cry.
Because you already miss Yunho, and you feel so dumb for overthinking the entire thing, for not being honest with him. It was a stupid mistake, but you hope Yunho knows you truly weren't out to hurt him.
You hope he can forgive you and move past this— with you, together.
Because today and so on, he's all you want. You love Yunho, and there's no one else that completes you the way that he does.
