this might be the nichest complaint you will ever hear in your life but I hate settings that try to mix cyberpunk with fantasy, and I don't mean fantasy in the style of "ghosts in the machine" or how spirituality and magic adapts to a technological future, that's cool... I mean tolkien/D&D ripoff "elves and dwarves and wizards" fantasy, for some reason in the 90s it was popular to say "what if... elf hackers xxdxdd" and it never works, it never will work, tastes as good as dulce de leche on ravioles, shut up.

#yes this is about sh*dowrun but also GURPS is very guilty of this #there's so much cool stuff but there's always a sidebar about 'what if computer magic with elves xddxddxd' it just sucks #I think nerds at the time tried to mix the two most popular RPG settings and it fails #again mostly because it's tolkien ripoffs and I'm tired of tolkien ripoffs in general #cosas mias #nonuncalapongoyo.jpg
