Interest check, would anyone be interested in supporting me through a platform such as patreon or ko-fi for worldbuilding purposes?

Of course there would be more stuff in there, like exclusive art, commission priority and the like, but I would like to primarily focus on worldbbuilding.

I have a big worldbuilding document (well, three actually. one per headworld) And I have written out a lot of small sections for ideas that are in my head that I've yet to properly flesh out. And I think it would be fun to try to aim for one worldbuilding post or so a week, where I choose one of these little ideas or blurbs and write it out properly. Perhaps even accompany it with a concept drawing or two. It's been a dream of mine to make an art + lore book for years now, and I would love to see this idea realized someday, so I think maybe doing this for my headworlds would be a good way to at least make some headway with writing alll of this that's in my head.

For challenger deep I have a 30 or so page document chock full of lore that could very much have been expanded upon, but I am currently rehashing the world specifics because I am not satisfied with it.

And for my first headworld focus I would like to choose my dragon/plane world. I've got a TON of cool as hell ideas for it and I would love to share them this way bit by bit, with the goal of eventually wrapping it all up into a neat book. But of course this requires a lot of effort and time, hence the monetary (and audience support, obviously) incentive to see it through to the end. And even if I do not reach the end, there would still be some of it written (and possibly drawn) for people to enjoy.

Like!! I just opened up my Broken Horizon doc to nab a picture of what I mean, and look at all these sections!! All this potential!! Who WOULDN'T wanna know about all this??

Ideally, at the start of a week there would be a blurb of worldbuilding published, along with art to go with it if possible, and a poll for voting on what the next week's blurb would be.

On that note, not sure if ko-fi or patreon would be better for this, but I would like to hear peoples opinions!

Funny story, I originally wanted to color these sketches, but I found that most of my traditional art supplies are unusable (the pencil colors has a very faded color, and most of my markers have a diluted yellow coloring lmaoooo ToT). I haven't been using them from 2019 and it really shows.

expanding more on this, i think it’d be super funny if at first ed thought his friends were simply just that. his friends. until idk maybe he thought out loud something like ‘i wish i had askjdwansdk a physical copy of my favorite horror movie’ and then bam his friends are now fairies

but then again they could also be leaving like accidental hints every now and then like being able to teleport items, albeit quietly and stealthfully or like their unnaturally stretchy skin that somehow doesnt break when theyre fighting with the other neighbor hood kids (ed would probably think its bc they use proper skincare but he would be terrified of it so he wouldnt know)

and when he does find out theyre fairies that can grant wishes he is probably somewhere in the middle between abusing the power given to him and knowing when to stop or restrict himself from making stupid wishes (in hindsight, he probably wouldnt but it would most likely be Edd who tells him to rethink a wish before Eddy grants it)

What's really sad about Furina is that she has been seeing what is a god in human terms. She sees them as perfect, unmovable deities rather than beings who do make mistakes, therefore trying to become 'perfect', lovable, and unmoving herself.

She hasn't had the chance to actually meet/get to know the archons like the traveler has, hence why she has such a naive worldview of what is a 'god', while we know them as imperfect (and sometimes silly) beings.

The archons we've got to meet have had little knowledge on how humans work, made mistakes that would affect their own living, have made enough bad decisions to start a civil war, have had their own people doubt and hurt them, have cried, have tried to lay low, have been beaten, have felt heartache, etc etc...

This whole demanding act that Furina put upon herself was sometimes unnecessarily harsh on herself, because archons are more human than she thinks.

It's been a while since the initial announcement, but any thoughts about Life is Strange: Double Exposure?

I watched the trailer and y'know what? I'm intrigued. I actually look forward to playing it. I looks nice, the murder mystery and parallel timelines concept sounds interesting, and I want to see what Max is like after all this time. How's she coping with and healing from all the trauma she went through in the first game?

I haven't watched anything other than the trailer and I'm not keeping tabs on any updates or anything, though. I know that Chloe's not in the trailer and a lot of people are upset about that but like... I'm not mad, haha. Listen, I have a complicated relationship with Chloe Price as a character and I'm not a pricefield shipper by any means, so if this game takes place in the timeline where Chloe died then I won't be too upset.

If anything, I think this game taking place in that timeline would be way more compelling, especially since this story seems to be about Max attempting to prevent the death of yet another friend of hers. She said she swore to never use her powers again, too. I think it'd make sense for her to say that in either timeline, but more so in this one.

However, I know a lot of people would be pissed so it makes me wonder just what they're doing here. It's difficult to take both endings into account unless they do something where if Chloe's alive, she's just not present. Maybe she and Max talk on the phone or Max makes references to where she is... but that would feel cheap, no? Especially to fans who love the original game for the Chloe and Max dynamic, platonic or romantic, and would want to see it now that they're both older and away from Arcadia Bay. I mean, how are they handling themselves after the tornado destroyed everything?

Maybe Chloe is around and the trailer just doesn't want to show her. Again, I don't know if anything's been confirmed and y'all are welcome to let me know.
