Tinfoil out for Rell Medarda
So after my earlier post about the whole Rell/Mel/Ambessa thing, I got to thinking, and now I'm making it everyone's problem.
Spoilers ahead:
In the season 2 opening we get these shots (not all in sequence):
Ambessa sitting lazily on a couch holding a black rose
Mel looking uncomfortable surrounded by shadowy hands
Mel sitting on the same couch, lit so her shadow resembles Ambessa
So, Ambessa is in deep shit with the Black Rose right? They nearly killed her once, they've stripped her of most of her power and influence, and now they've kidnapped Mel. We know Ambessa would do anything to keep her family safe, and that doubtlessly include sacrificing her own life.
The most widespread Rell Medarda theory seems to be that she's Mel's younger sister, with the main counterpoint being that Rell's mom is described as "the heir to a fallen noble house" which doesn't make sense as a descriptor for Ambessa, yeah her house is falling but she's the head not the heir to the house.
And that's when it struck me: House Medarda is crumbling, but so is Mel's own empire. She's losing her sway over the council, her main ally wants to retire from politics, and a civil war is not good for business.
Which is to say nothing of the fact that it's more or less confirmed now that she's got magic, which last i checked is still very much banned in Piltover.
Also there's this promo image of Mel floating around which looks... Distinctly Noxian, at least compared to what she wears in S2A1

Do you see where I'm going with this?
Let's say that by the end of Arcane season 2, Ambessa is dead, house Medarda is in ruins, Mel's own fortune isn't doing much better, and suddenly everyone finds out she's a mage. Who knows maybe she even becomes the scapegoat for everything that happened between Piltover and Zaun.
She's exiled back to Noxus, and has to attempt to rebuild her empire from nothing. Somewhere in the process of doing so she has a daughter. A daughter with a whole lot of magical potential.
Next thing she knows, she's got the Black Rose banging down her door to get their hands on her daughter. Sure it might leave a bitter taste in her mouth to deal with them, but Mel knows business, and isn't there a degree of poetry to the people who ruined her, also being the ones to restore her to power.
"But hold on" you might say "Mel is a kind and loving person, her biggest goal in life is to be different from Ambessa, that sounds nothing like Rell's mom."
Did you know that when Britney Spears wanted her toddlers to calm down, she would give them pacifiers dipped in whiskey, because that's what her parents did to her growing up, and she genuinely didn't realize it was harmful.
Breaking the cycle isn't easy at the best of times, and if Mel is also having to fend off vultures at every turn trying to take what remains of the Medarda fortune, it's easy to imagine her falling into bad habbits.
And wouldn't that just be the most tragic ending for a character like her, who spent so much of her life trying to undo her mother's work, only to end up traumatizing her own daughter and sternly telling her "excellence is measured in sacrifice".
Hey does anyone remember how Rell was forced by her mother to kill her friends one by one in order to make her stronger? How about that scene in season one where Ambessa kills the Ionian princess Mel had made friends with?

I wanted to write something really quick for Jouno's birthday ngl, so here's some really cheesy dogshit
Happy Birthday to the blind king himself (ugh I miss him)
Scenario: Calling Jouno while he's at work. It becomes a little silly.
As much as Jouno hated the telephone, he hated the sounds of his coworkers even more.
What were they yelling for? It's four in the morning.
Who's even up at four in the morning?
Apparently them.
Every day. For the last 2 weeks.
Usually, he could have slept in for at least 3 more hours. Have a coffee that didn't taste like piss and tinfoil (everyday he hated whoever made the coffee in the lounge, no one would tell him the name of the moron who cheaped out on it. They weren't safe from him.) and get to tell his woe's to someone who didn't have rocks for brains.
But no. He was stuck here, at HQ, listening to reports that led their current case to nowhere.
Which led to yelling. Always yelling.
So answering the phone was honestly rather refreshing.
"..."
He waited a second. Why should he, of all people, speak first?
"Hello? Is Jouno there?"
Jouno felt time pause for a moment. He stopped, listening to the other members in the room.
They seemed rather distracted, not truly paying attention to what he was doing. Teruko and Tachihara were arguing and Tecchou was...he smelt gross, so probably working out.
"Sorry, who is this?"
He really hoped he was hearing wrong.
"Jouno, c'mon you know who I am. Why, is something wrong?"
When did you have their number? As far as he recalled, only government officials were ever given this number, and even that is far and few in between. He never let you know much about his work.
"I'm not trying to buy anything."
To Jouno's dismay, that failed miserably. Instead, all he heard was your laughter on the other side of the phone. Did you really think his misery was funny?
"If I find you, I'll kill you."
Jouno made threats as a part of his day-to-day life, it was easy to fake it towards you. But a part of him felt how he was cracking easily, hearing your obvious giggles as they thought of the next line to say.
"Ok ok. Sorry I know you're busy at work right now. But I really did call for something really important."
Taking a moment, Jouno sighed as he leaned against the small desk that held the phone. He waited a bit, listening to see if the others in the room were still ignoring him.
As much as he hated it, they seemed to actually notice that the "bad-things-are-happening-please-help" phone was called. His luck really is immaculate.
"How did you get this number again?"
There was a guilty laugh on your end. What had you so happy?
"Some other day, maybe. But that's not important! Jouno."
Jouno gave a very long sigh.
"Jouno, today is your birthday!"
"Yes."
He was really hoping he was as good of an actor as he thought he was, because he couldn't help how his heart was beating twice as fast at the thought of you remembering something so small.
"Are you coming home tonight?"
There was a pause.
Jouno didn't want to respond, because he hated the answer. Truthfully, he didn't know when he would have a 'normal' (for a hunting dog) workday.
He didn't even want to admit out loud how much he missed you.
"Oh, ok. You know, after your 'case' is over, we should get to celebrating. I have the perfect gift for you already, which definitely involves no clothes."
"No."
There was a pause on your end. He hated telling you no. Weird, since frankly breaking people's hearts was his favorite past time.
"Good idea. Uh..."
Jouno forced himself to listen back into the conference room, which was now weirdly quiet. There was also a small heartbeat very very close to him.
That was not a good sign.
"Thank you. Um."
He turned his head, bell-jingling against the phone, as he knew Teruko was looking up at him -probably with a shit eating grin.
"...I love you."
Sighing, he ate his pride, turning away.
"I love you too, Jouno. Happy birthday."
You sang it, not forcing him to endure the entire song. He hoped he was tall enough and facing enough away that Teruko couldn't see the smile on his face hearing those words.
When he hung up the phone, hearing the click and shut off the landline, he was forced to face his reality.
The one where he couldn't stop hearing his coworkers giggling. Particularly Teruko's, but even Tecchou was laughing somewhere deep in that stupid body of his that managed to breathe air.
He wanted to kick him.
"I didn't know you were in a relationship."
Tachihara said this nervously, but still with a smile in his voice.
"I'm not. I don't know who that was or how they got that number."
It was hard to say this seriously, as Jouno could feel the red creeping up on his face.
Happy birthday Jouno omfgggfgfg when is he coming back </3

Headcanons about Kate
These are just a few things I personally deem as headcanon about Kate, after rewatching and analyzing her interactions and personality traits. Please remember that this is just my perception of her. If you have anything you consider to be headcanon about Kate let me know.
- likes being playful and teases you a lot
- leans against EVERYTHING (example: doors, counters, couches, tables. hell, sheâd probably even lean against you if you let her lmao)
- manspreads. always. (if you ask why she sits that way sheâll tell you âi donât know. itâs just comfortable,â and you know what i canât argue that)
- canât sit straight. (if you find her sitting properly, itâs probably because of a formal gathering or a meeting)
- likes stealing kisses from you (you could be sitting, standing, laying down it doesnât matter sheâll still manage to steal one from you. AND ITS ADORABLE)
- randomly does something that only makes sense to her and just confuses you (things like her leaving a half empty cup ramen with tinfoil over it and her explanation? âwhat? i was in a hurry to leave.â)
- always wears socks
- loves cereal, specifically Frosted Flakes
- can accurately shoot up to five arrows at the same time
- loves to spoil you
- sometimes likes to splurge on perfumes (sheâs not big on jewelry but fragrances? absolutely.)
- has a spacific playlist for working out
- made a playlist for you
- canât take care of live plants, so she buys fake ones (she just doesnât have a green thumb. any greenery you see in her apartment or dorm isnât real lmao)
- loves target
- tried to hit the target logo with a plunger arrow (this is very on brand for kate)
- somehow burned water??? (weâve established that she canât cook multiple times by almost burning the apartment down. the one time the apartment burned, wasnât her fault, but still kinda was lmao)
- collects squishmallows (she definitely buys the 24 inch squishmallows)
- if she doesnât get her way sheâll start cutely pouting
- gets flustered when youâve out rizzed her
- loves to act cocky around you (whatever you do donât challenge her to a game of fencing, she wins. sheâll let that go to her head lmao)
- loves going to the movie theater with you
- gets excited to get a slushy and popcorn
- when she talks about you to someone she gets shy
- mumbles stuff under her breath (when she was talking with yelena in episode 6 sheâs LITERALLY doing it. âyeah, i know what box mac n cheese tastes like, okay? i know itâs- i know itâs delicious.â)
- sheâs insecure about her rambling but you always reassure her that itâs fine and youâre listening
- sheâs spent too much money on a gaming pc
- only owns a pair of boots (it doesnât matter what sheâs wearing, sheâs going to wear her boots even if itâs a dress)
- super clumsy (somehow in the field sheâs good at not being clumsy, but oh my god sheâll make your blood pressure spike 100%)
- always thinks outside of the box (it's impressive how quickly she thinks on her feet)
- is surprisingly calm under certain serious situations (i mean she took down men double her size running right at her, iâd panic and run the opposite direction)
- doesnât give up easily which results in her being stubborn sometimes
- you having to remind her to shut up or low her voice in very quiet places (you could be on a mission with her and a few others and she just randomly âhey, did you see that tiktok i sent you this morning?â âSHHH, is now really the time for that?â)
- will send unhinged texts at worse time (youâre both in a debriefing and sheâll just text something like, âokay, so hear me out⊠we kidnap him.â âwhat?! no. kate weâre not about to steal rocket!â)
- loves sending memes (thatâs literally all of her tiktok fyp)
- ALWAYS LOSES HER APARTMENT KEYS (someone give this girl a tile⊠you know what she would also end up losing that too lmao)
- loves ring but ends up losing them
- has a matching arrow necklace with you (again, she doesnât wear rings much since sheâs always losing them, so sheâd go with a bracelet or necklace)
- loves hats, hoodies and sweatpants (after seeing that one picture of hailee wear her hawkeye hat, itâs headcanon for kate)
- still somehow makes you laugh even when youâre upset with her
- it doesnât matter what time of day it is, when sheâs been assigned a mission. sheâll always make time to video chat with you
edited: iâve proofread this like three times, if thereâs still typos or anything just ignore them lmao

Liveblog - Dofus, livre 1 : Julith [PART 21]
I've already said how weird this whole situation is from Joris's pov, but imagine dying, being given a new body with a way smaller brain and no speech yet, as well as no object permanence, and having to comprehend while in this condition, that your brother, who spent the last 50â80 years trying to hunt you down and make you into a coat, just saved your son from being blown up, and is now dying.
But you lack the brain capacity to understand any of that. Or remember any of that history.
You just know that he's hurt, badly, and that you don't like seeing him in pain.
Joris knows now, that for an ecaflip demigod, it's not that big of a deal to die. At least not the first time.
So it's really more of a "You sacrificed yourself for me?" question.
He's paying back his debt. He can't be mean to Joris, when all he's done is be nice to him, he's not that kind of person.
And when he wakes up again, things will be different, between him and Kerubim. Something new is going to happen.
To quote Dofus Aux Tresors de Kerubim: It will have a different taste. A different feel.
Kerubim's current lack of object permanence or the idea of death, is both a blessing and a curse, because he has no fucking idea what happened, or where Atcham went. Poor kbitty.
On one hand, this is inherently traumatic for Joris. He must be tired of watching ecaflip demigods evaporate.
On the other hand, I can't help but feel that this is the moment Joris and Atcham truly begin to love one another. So I can't even feel sad about this moment, like a normal person.
Chat, this is what I cal coping and perhaps even seething. Joris is inclined to think Bakara is wrong because Bakara fucked up Majorly at this part of the movie. Also because Joris has not slept the entire night. Also because he watched 2 people die. Also Simone is far away. Also what IS Simone to do with a dofus-related issue?
Julith would absolutely have hurt Lilotte. There is absolutely not a single doubt in my mind, that if it got her what she wanted, she would dismember Lilotte as Joris watched.
I don't blame him for making mistakes and fumbling, though. He's like 10.
If she really isn't that bad... If ALL she wants to do, is to bring Jahash back... If that's what it takes for her to leave Lilotte and Kerubim alone...
And among all else, if this brings the man she loves back? He doesn't mind, then.
(Puts on a giant, Dofus Aux Tresors de Kerubim themed tinfoil hat)
Joris is a difficult character to read due to his insane multitudes and affinity for lying to everyone and himself.
Due to his passion for wanting to learn about his birth parents, I think spending time with Julith and Jahash is like a dream to him.
But I can't miss the dimension in this interaction that Julith is a scary dark mage called "the butcher", who already killed his father once and then kidnapped his friend, and they are both standing near her, behind him, and she is holding what is essentially the magical equivalent of a nuclear bomb in her hands.
And the things he says to her may or may not be affected by like, idk, two or three of these factors? Like there might be a slight possibility that he said "I'm sure she wouldn't have hurt you" and "a real family" specifically to decrease the chances of her killing Kerubim and Lilotte. Not sure where I get this idea from, though.
This is literally the worst day in Kerubim's life as a father. There is literally no going back. Thank god his little kittybrain is going to forget all about this in roughly 3 minutes.

MINUTAL MATIANUM (ROMAN PORK WITH APPLES, 1st c.)
It's a been a tougher week than usual - my husband broke his leg and had surgery, and I'm dealing with some dental pain - but amongst it all, I thought it would be a good idea to treat ourselves with a Tasting History dish that is especially hearty and comforting: Minutal Matianum (Roman Pork with Apples). From the quintessential Roman source by Apicius from the 1st c., De Re Coquinaria, this meat dish is made using ingredients that would have been available to Roman soldiers in Britain, near forts in the area of Hadrian's Wall. This hearty dish was probably closer to what the officers of the Roman army would have eaten rather than the foot soldiers, however. I decided to make this dish because my husband and I have enjoyed most of the Roman recipes I've made so far, and Max exclaimed this was the best Roman dish even he had made so far. We hope this dish provides us with the fortitude of a Roman soldier on the frontiers! See Maxâs video on how to make the dish here or see the ingredients and process at the end of this post, sourced from his website.
My experience making it:
As usual for me with Roman recipes, I struggled to compile all of the specific listed ingredients, but I did my best! I sourced a pork shoulder from our local butcher, and for the ground meat, I used a mix of 60% beef and 40% pork (a very common mixture here in Germany). For the pork roast rub, I used oil, a bit of salt, lots of pepper, and a tablespoon and a half of linden tree blossom honey. For the meatballs, I didn't use any egg to bind them, as I didn't have any on hand. Instead of garum, I used an Asian fish sauce (which Max suggests as a substitute). For the apples, I used some sweet Pink Lady apples (which I definitely snacked on while I was cooking). Instead of the long pepper Max used, I used the tablespoon of peppercorns. I decided to omit the asafoetida completely, as I couldn't find it at 4 different supermarkets, including the bio-supermarket and the Turkish supermarket. I've recently learned that I should look instead at an Indian supermarket, so now I'm on the hunt for one! I reduced grape juice myself to make defrutum, as Saba seems a little expensive. Instead of starch/cornflour, I used regular white flour, since I think they would function fairly similarly.
First, I set out making the rub for the pork roast. Nice and simple with olive oil, salt, pepper, and honey, I loved that I could customize this part to my tastes (give me that sharp pepper taste!). Next, because I didn't have a roasting rack, I made one myself out of tin foil by taking a large sheet, rolling it into a snake shape, and curving it into a zig-zag pattern on top of a layer of tinfoil at the bottom of my pan. It fit the pork perfectly, and then I added the rub and tossed it in the oven. My pork shoulder was just over 2 pounds, so I roasted it for just over 2 hours. While it was cooking, I rolled my meatballs (sans egg), ground my spices for the sauce in the mortar and pestle (which took awhile), and chopped and portioned the ingredients for the next steps. When the pork was almost done cooking, I began cooking the meatballs in olive oil, also adding in the leeks. I added in the chicken stock and garum, stirring to get any bits from the bottom to release their flavour.
While this cooked on the stovetop, the pork roast was ready to take out of the oven. It looked wonderful and smelled delicious! I let it sit for a little bit, then chopped it into cubes and added them to the pot with the meatballs. I added in the cilantro, then a little bit more chicken stock so the pork and meatballs were 3/4 submerged and sizzling nicely in the juices. I simmered it for 15 minutes, then added the apple chunks. I simmered it further, but for less than the 20 minutes in the recipe (more like 15). I portioned the meat and apples into our serving bowls to cool a little while I prepared the quick sauce, being sure to leave some of the juices in order to provide the base to the sauce. I added the juices, defrutum, white wine vinegar, garum, and honey to a pot, added the crushed spices/herbs, and brought it to a light boil, stirring often. I made a roux with some flour by mixing a bit of water into it, then added it to my sauce to thicken it. By the looks of it, I think I ended up thickening it a decent amount more than Max did, but I like a thicker sauce, so I wasn't too upset about that. I took it off the heat once it was combined and thickened, and drizzled it over the pork, meatballs, and apples. It looked absolutely scrumptious - the sauce added a nice silky shine to the meat, the leeks added a pretty green, the peppercorns some texture, and the apples a beautiful yellow and red pop of colour. I served the Minutal Matianum with a side Greek Salad to balance the heaviness of the meat.
My experience tasting it:
I made sure my first bite was with pork, apple, and some sauce - it was very tasty! The pork was tender enough, but I might have overcooked it just a little. Luckily, the tougher, hearty texture was balanced by the crisp and light flavour of the apple and the acidity, sweetness, spice-infused, and herbed flavour of the silky gravy-like sauce. Like Max mentioned, the sauce first tastes a bit sour due to the vinegar, but it melts into a sweetness from the defrutum and honey. It is still a very 'Roman' flavour of sauce - I could taste hints of the previous Roman sauces I have made in other dishes in this one, but this one was more like a gravy, and maybe more in line with the modern palate. In terms of herbs and spices, I found that peppercorn and cilantro were the most forward in the sauce - the mint and cumin were just barely there. I decided to make my next bite a meatball with some sauce, apple and leek: an absolute winning combo! I don't always have time to make a pork roast, so I can't see myself making Minutal Matianum often in its complete form, but I will most certainly make the sauce with apples and meatballs again in the future. Like Max, my husband and I both agreed this is our favourite of the Roman dishes I've made so far. This is a great meal for late fall/early winter, and I will probably make it again as the weather gets colder this fall. If you end up making this dish, if you liked it, or if you changed anything from the original recipe, do let me know!

Asafoetida
Minutal Matianum (Roman Pork with Apples) original recipe (1st c.)
Sourced from De Re Coquinaria by Apicius, 1st century.
Put oil, garum, stock, chopped leek and cilantro and small ground meatballs in a pot. Chop previously cooked shoulder of pork with skin into cubes. Cook all together. Half-way through cooking add cored and diced Matian apples. While it cooks, grind pepper, cumin, cilantro and coriander seed, mint, and silphium root, pour in vinegar, honey, garum, defrutum, and some of the cooking liquid. Adjust the flavors with vinegar. Bring to a boil. Add broken tracta to thicken. Sprinkle pepper and serve.Â
Modern Recipe
Based on De Re Coquinaria by Apicius (1st c.) and Max Millerâs version in his Tasting History video.
Ingredients:
Roasted Pork
Pork shoulder
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Honey
Pork and Apples
1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 lb (340g) ground pork or beef, shaped into 1â balls
1 cup chopped leek
1 cup (235ml) chicken stock, plus extra as needed
2 teaspoons garum*
Small handful chopped cilantro
1 lb (450g) roasted pork, cut into cubes
1 lb (450g) sweet apples, cored and cut into about 1â pieces
Sauce
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp chopped cilantro
1 tbsp coriander seeds
2 tsp chopped mint
4 long peppers or 1 tbsp of peppercorns
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1/4 cup (60ml) white wine vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp garum*
1/4 cup (60ml) defrutum**
1/4 cup (60ml) cooking liquid from the pork and apples
2 tsp starch or cornflour
*Garum was a fermented fish sauce that was used in a lot of ancient Roman cooking. You can buy a modern equivalent or use an Asian fish sauce.
**Defrutum was a 1/3 reduction of grape must. Today, Saba is pretty much the same thing. It can be expensive, so you can reduce some grape juice instead.
Method:
For the roasted pork: Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with foil, then place a roasting rack on top of it.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, and honey. There should be enough to coat the pork roast. Adjust the amounts to your liking.
Brush the olive oil mixture onto the pork, then roast for 15 minutes.
Lower the temperature to 275°F (135°C) and cook for about an hour per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
For the pork and apples:Â Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat, then add the meatballs and leeks and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they start to brown.
Deglaze the pot with the chicken stock and garum. Toss in the cilantro and roasted pork. Add enough additional chicken stock so that it covers the bottom of the pot.
Simmer for 15 minutes, adding more stock if necessary.
Add the apples, then cook for another 20 minutes or until the meatballs are fully cooked.
For the sauce:Â Grind the spices and herbs with a mortar and pestle, then put them in a saucepan with the liquid ingredients. Stir together and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
Mix the starch with a little water, then add it to the sauce. Simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens.
To serve:Â Dish the pork and apples into a bowl, drizzle with the sauce, and serve it forth.

Not a question, more appreciation! Thank you for having so much amazing and appropriate clothes for elders! I have always struggled finding nice stuff for them!
THANK YOU
uh I had more to say about this
When making elder cc (mostly EF but Iâm looking to do much more EM stuff too, yay grandpa), I do try to highlight shapes and choose patterns, that - to me - scream: âIâve lived a good long life. Iâm not 21 anymore and I donât want to be. But Iâm no schlub.â
All About Style has always been a huge style inspiration for me for grandmother fashion. That siteâs EF clothing was the perfect mix of quirky, fashion-conscious and matronly-cool clothes. Judie had immaculate taste! Thereâs a reason her cc was beloved, even after years of play.
Much of existing elder cc is on alpha meshes. Those are fine and good! But I feel like elder sims need to be dressed in âbulkierâ stuff. It just makes sense to me. Thereâs tons of older elder CC that I see and like the idea of, but itâs painted on a mesh that is little more than the base EF/EM body shape on top. Idk, skintight sweaters on grandma or grandpa just kind of give me the willies. đ”âđ« Itâs not realistic either.
Plenty of elder cc is also Maxis match. Perfectly fine! Love those shapes way more. There are lots and lots of age conversions that look great on elders. But, I feel like our elders deserve more than a copy and paste of what we already have on offer for adult sims. So, I retexture those age conversions. The clothes just need to be stuffier, with more mature colors and patterns. Just, have more of a mature âvibeâ.
On a more tinfoil hat note (lol), I think some simmers do not like to play elders at all, and that has everything to do with fearing age itself. And not having a worthy selection of clothes for them, that too. đ
But I mean, there are mods to skip elderhood entirely. And a clothing mod to make elders have the standard AF chest instead of a sagging one exists, and that has existed forever. Itâs like one of the oldest mods out there! And a mod to make them not have the âelderâ walk. All things to make them less âoldpersonyâ.
Elders are thought of as being boring or unimportant sims, something to avoid, unappealing. I think that says way more about how people feel about aging themselves. But I think itâs much more freeing to embrace and enjoy a stage of life that Iâll face myself.
TL;DR: thank you
And let me know who I should look to next for style inspiration. Iâve already gained inspirash from: the Golden Girls, the oracle from the matrix, Eartha Kitt as madame Zeroni in Holes, probably anything Stevie Nicks has worn recently, anything Judi Dench has worn as M in the Bond movies, AndrĂ© Leon Talley (rip), Sag Harbor, Eddie Bauer and Squaw Valley sweaters and long skirts from the 90âs, what Diane Keaton is wearing in any movie, any era, Guinan from Star Trek: Next Gen (slay, the colors especially), thinking if it would look good on current day Jane Seymour then go for it, my friend whose mom is a high school art teacher, a sprinkle of Mrs. Doubtfire, a sprinkle of Miranda Priestly, and of course, anything Prue Leith wears.

Can you rank the south park characterss preference on cheese and weed please
here is my explanation of the tier list and why i put them there:
s tier: craig- he only buys the best shit, the expensive shit, and from people he knows aren't going to rip him off. he rarely shares, but kenny's always trying to bum a joint off of him. he is a red blooded american thus he likes cheddar jack, especially shredded, and i just can't dock him points for that because it's based.
a tier: kenny- kenny has every possible way to consume marijuana. bong? he has it. edibles? gummies or brownies? carts? he just has to charge the battery first. kenny IS the smoke shop. kenny also likes sharp cheddar, which is valid because it's my favorite too. tweek- tweek gets the good shit from whoever craig gets it from, but what bumps him down from s tier to a tier is 1) he used to get the laced shit and didn't even notice and 2) he hates cheese. he thinks all it is is moldy milk, which is true but he's wrong for hating it.
b tier: kyle. kyle is a diehard edible taker. he has a bottle of gummies somewhere and only takes them when he can't sleep. in my opinion, kyle is a mozzarella kind of person, but he also likes cheese sticks because he can take them on the go. this is respectable, thus b tier. wendy- wendy has smoked like once and she took one hit and cried because she thought it would make her stupid and she'd never get into harvard. this is not why she's in b tier, though. wendy is in b tier due to her cheese taste. her favorite is brie, but goat cheese comes in a close second. she is a fancy cheese snob and i think that puts her in b tier by itself.
c tier: cartman- cartman has a dab pen with a rick and morty battery and he thinks he's hot shit for it. he shows it off to the hot edgy girls at school because he thinks it'll impress them. it doesn't. he eats any cheese he can get his hands on. velveeta is always in stock in his house though. i don't think this is the worst, but it doesn't deserve higher than c tier.
d tier: stan- stan will take used carts off of the street and freebase it with a metal straw and tinfoil. my man does not care where it comes from or what it is, he will find a way to smoke it. absolutely insane behavior. this alone would put him in c tier, because i've been there honestly. but, what makes him the worst of all, is the cheese. my man eats kraft singles for dinner. sometimes he leaves them out on the counter and will eat them unrefrigerated. he needs to be put down.
in conclusion i'm always right so if you disagree no you don't

Ok, so here are some thoughts I have on the new UI
Disclaimer: Some of these are probably just me things and not real issues lol
- I donât like placement of map in the top corner, when I play sso I tend to keep my eyes focused on the bottom of the screen to see jumps and what not, and with the new placement I have to move my eyes farther to see the map. This takes my eyes away from my horse for longer, and makes me lose track of where I am/I ran into a few things trying to look at the map lol
- I don't like the placement of the speed indicator at the bottom of the screen, but hiding it gets rid of dismount button and forces you to rely on the x key
- I find the character pictures in the corner a bit distracting, they seem a bit to big and look out of place
- why is the chat bubble wobbly/squiggly/whatever? it's a stylistic choice, sure, but it's like...not exaggerated enough to read that way. It's sort of awkwardly in-between a clean design and a more squiggly design, making it look unintentional and messy to me instead of a artistic choice. I lowkey thought it was glitched at first lol
- So like...why is it incomplete? Settings, notifications, toggle view etc still have the old ui design, I just don't understand why they would seemingly release it with major aspects of it (i.e. character sheets, settings,) still unfinished
- So it's definitely aiming for mobile audiences, but it feels lackluster on pc
- I don't like the sparkles whenever you gain (h)xp
- Roughly the place where the dismount button used to be is now shoppingâŠidk I just don't like how the shopping button is in front of the inventory button, I definitely clicked on it due to dismount button muscle memory a few times, and maybe this is me putting on too much of a tinfoil hat but it feels like by placing the shop button more prominently than the inventory button, they're trying to remind players of it more or get people to accidentally click it so people eventually pay more for clothes or whatever
- I like the loading screen! Art filling up the screen, font is pleasing, running horse
- There's now 3 styles of UI in the game now; the new UI, the old, and the updated race UI
- Honestly I like the race UI better than the new UI, I would maybe like it if they based the new UI more off that
- I donât like having to click to level up horse although I could see that being useful for character leveling up if you want to time screenshots
- I like the animation leveling up comes with though
- reins glitchđ© not UI related but can they fix the reins connecting to saddle glitch already lol
- Inspecting players only works like 50% of the time for me now
- I'm not a fan of how separated all the buttons are now
-The white text on dark background in the chat box hurts my eyes and makes it hard to read but that's probably a me thing, I had a concussion that messed up my eyes and made it harder for me to read some text on screens including light on dark - however I did see someone else in global saying they thought the text was too bright as well
- I like the shared moment thing! The interactions with your horse are cute and fun
- I donât like the extra call for pickup menu, I can see it being helpful but I'd like maybe a toggle button for that, like a "don't show this message again" thing
- Why does the inventory default to opening so low on the screen now?
- I like how you can see the exact xp numbers without the character screen
- Someone already mentioned it, but the champ groups...you can't see past like the first 4 letters of someone's names, and the scrolling
Anyway, I think it's fine overall, it's not my taste but I don't despise it like I thought it might
#star stable online#star stable#sso#some of these are just me nitpicking or me wanting to click on as few things and move my mouse as little as possible lol

Today was a nice day. It wasn't as stressful as I had assumed it would be. It actually worked out pretty well. But I am absolutely exhausted and very excited to be in my own bed.
I had trouble falling asleep last night. Not surprised. Mostly it was because my sleeves wouldn't stay covering my shoulders and I hated that so much. I dont know why it bothers me so much but it does and I hate it!!
I slept pretty well once I did fall asleep though. I woke up before my alarm. And while I didn't feel amazing I did feel okay enough. My hair looked good. I liked my face. My dress was cute though I should have retied the straps because they would not stay on.
We went and got breakfast. I was disappointed that my soda mostly tasted like seltzer. It was very light in color. Very strange.
We got to camp a little after 8. Got up to the art building. James was really helpful today. Seriously I couldn't have asked for better help. Tati was excellent too but she has never sewn before so it was for sure hard to just have her alone out there. So having James there to help was excellent.
And they both did great. James helped set things up and did some organizing for me. And I got the sewing machine set up and I was nervous but looking forward to today.
And it was really great. We had top bar and silver city before lunch and while everyone struggled with the embroidery, they all tried so hard and it was just awesome to see. And they all did so well on the sewing machine. Some had straighter lines then others, but everyone did really good. There was one child who kept trying to ask for my help when I was with someone else on the machine and when I was like. Hey you already had your turn, I cannot help you right now, this is their turn, please go ask someone outside. They didn't get it and were like I don't have to use the machine. I don't think they understood that I was making the machine go. Honestly one of the counselors made a pouch with her girls and was like how does the machine know when to stop?? And I was like, I am the one who stopped it. It made me laugh but if you don't know then you don't know and that's alright.
She also told me she loved all my jewelry and that made me feel special so I liked that.
I also just enjoyed listening to James with the kids outside. They only got a little overwhelmed a few times but mostly they did great and were excellent at showing the kids what to do. I was very proud of them.
Lunch was fine. Burgers that smelled to burgery. I just had potato salad and a bun. I wasn't really hungry. Celia would take us to go see the new frogs. And then me and James walked over to see the ducks and chickens and goats. Ty was there and it was nice to see his face. He has such a bright smile. He worked through lunch to make such all his kids for dough boys (friend dough made in tinfoil over the fire) and that was such a nice thing to do.
We had one more group. It was for sure a little tougher with day campers to get them all going. But this was mostly a counselor issue. I literally had to go outside twice to tell them to work with the kids, and to tell them to get off their phone. And they still were barely helping, just telling me they don't know how. Which made me very frustrated but there wasn't much I could do. We had to finish so I jumped in to help James, who was a little overwhelmed with all the kids who needed help. But we got them done and they would finish up.
But then we were done. And I sent Tati to the office while me ans James finished packing up. Cody came up to make sure we were okay and that groups that came up would be alright. I left a note, and some bracelet string and paper and colored pencils for the two groups I was missing. And after a stop at the office, as headed out.
It didn't take the full hour to get there thankfully. No traffic at all. I worked on sewing another bear on the drive there. And finished it once we pulled into the parking lot. I had finished closing up all the bears I made last week and I'm very pleased with them. Some of my favorite faces I've made for sure.
We would go to Dunkin to get donuts. It was $18 and I was like hmm. Seems high for 2 donuts, a few munchkins, and a coffee. And while I was in the bathroom they figured out they accidently charged James for 4 coffees. Oops. They gave them a refund and an apology. We had our little snack and I headed to my appointment.
We were still early. So they had to print my papers. I had a little laugh with a nice man in the elevator. And it was nice to see the normal receptionist.
And it was a good appointment. I lost 5lbs. Probably because camp wasn't feeding us. I would like to get under 170. So it's nice to be closer to that. And my blood pressure was good. My heart rate was slightly elevated. But I got my injections and that was all good.
I met with the doctor to discuss my liver. And she wanted me to get blood work again. She also suggested a topical to help the pain in my thumb which seriously worked so fast I'm shocked I had never tried this before. We would go to CVS and get it and I used it right away and it worked within an hour. Incredible.
I went to get my blood work though and made her laugh a few times. First with telling her how last month the woman who took my blood couldn't get any out of the one arm so we swapped. Then about how I think I could manage the $9 the blood work would cost. Then when I told her that the last woman was taller then her and she was like are you saying in short ??? And I'm like you are literally taller then me!! And then she laughed at me again when I tried to look at my injection site and dropped the tissue and she was like stop being noncompliant!! But we were both giggling and it was very silly. I was happy to be done.
I went out and met James in the parking lot. We drove to the CVS. Got what we needed. I looked around a little. And then we headed home.
We wouldn't be here for long. I lamented the big shelf out neighbor had put outside. We have nowhere to put it so James said no. Thankfully someone would come and get it later and I was like. Yes!! I'm so glad you guys are taking it!!! They were very sweet.
We wouldn't be home long. Just long enough to catch our breath and for James to change their shirt.
We were off to the Fulwilers' so James could put their ACs in. I sat and talked to Tucker for a while. Eventually I went downstairs to see Anne's styrofoam collection which I may take part of. But it was nice to hang out for a bit. I told them about Jess buying a house!! Which I feel like I haven't talked about much here but I am so proud of her. She had her inspection yesterday and apparently it went really well and it's only a few things that need repair. I'm very happy for her. And they were happy to hear about it.
Me and James left to go get dinner next. We went to Patterson to get Mathews pizza. And it was excellent like always. We had a little conversation about how good the pizza was with the men who came in after us. And we chatted together about savings and money and just quietly enjoyed each other's company.
I was so stuffed when we finished. And I was really to go home. The drive home was nice though. We have decided to look in Patterson and highland town for possible houses next year. And I feel good about being so close to the park and a walkable community. Even if it's not on the water. With global warming it'll be waterfront in like 20 years so I would just have to be patient.
We got home and I got showered and changed. And we would play a videogame for a while. Until I felt like I needed to lay flat. I would go and count my knitting squares and I have 98! I am more convinced now though that I somehow lost a whole ball and I don't understand it. I'm gonna look around the art building tomorrow so hopefully I can find it because I should have 45 or 50 black squares of I had gone through both skiens but I only have 30? It doesn't make sense. Fingers crossed it shows up.
Now we are in bed. Everyone is fed and is ready to sleep. I hope you all have a good night and a fun day tomorrow. I love you all. Goodnight!!

don't worry it's exams season for me too and i'm passing time through social medias so i don't think about the impending doom of not studying (i'm a procrastinator, i love to ruin my life)
anywaysss, last year was filled with avoidable problems in ferrari, it's clear. yes, they did have to run with a lower engine to avoid blowing it up (they only turned it up for monza, following what it was said during week interviews). the strategies call were insane, and i might be putting on my tinfoil hat again here, but it was clear most of those strategies starting after barcelona were favourable for carlos and not charles (and i'm not blaming the driver himself, i'm blaming the situation that came to be inside of the team). the team didn't listen to charles, as if they didn't trust him, which is terrible bc he grew up so much from 2019, now he knows how to save the tyres, how to trick other drivers into thinking he's having problems with the tyres when he's not (ie: baku 2023 when he played alonso at his own game).
many of the problems inside ferrari have been there for YEARS, even during arrivabene's seasons. he got sacked bc the team made a huge mess during qualifying in monza 2018 and that year in general was terrible bc an important person inside the team passed away suddenly (marchionne). charles got signed during the singapore weekend, right after monza, so arrivabene knew he wouldn't be tp anymore once charles made it to the team, but he still signed him to keep the promise asked by marchionne.
it's no secret that binotto was never a fan of seb during his last years in ferrari. in 2019 he got beaten by charles, which i guess it's something nobody inside the team expected. and with the mess of 2020 i guess that seb in that season didn't have the spirit to fight, which is understandable. he has been there since 2015 and nothing had changed. binotto then basically kicked him out of the door to sign carlos. after that it was clear that binotto was always favoring carlos for whatever reason: the upgrades turning the car to understeer (so opposite to what charles likes bc anybody who had listen to him at least once knows that he likes more an oversteery car - and when the car was oversteery charles had pulled his amazing pole positions and had a grand chelem), giving him the favourable strategy in more occasions etc. binotto's interviews were always more aligned with carlos' rather than charles'. binotto and carlos were talking about bringing home points, whereas charles was talking about winning. this is everything i need to know to understand who's going to be a champion and who won't tbh.
again, i'm not hating on carlos himself, but his father was hanging out at the garage and some of his interviews too were... sketchy. for example when last year he said that this year car would be of carlos' taste. like why would ferrari make a car more likable for the driver whom ended up 5th in the championship standing (would have been 6th if it wasn't for hamilton's dnf in abu dhabi) instead of the currently vice champion? and yes, during toro rosso's days it said that sainz sr. and jos verstappen were exactly friends, bc apparently sainz sr. thought that the red bull seat would go to carlos, but obviously red bull ended up choosing max and i guess this is something that the sainzs didn't like. again, not an attack to carlos himself, but max (like a few other drivers) is a generational talent, red bull was always going to choose him, let's be honest.
as for carlos' race engineer... riccardo adami has never been fond of charles since he put feet in that garage. idk what's actually up with him, but apparently when charles made it to ferrari some of seb's engineers and mechanics were given to him, which is something that adami didn't like. since 2019 he had made some backhanded comments about charles or ones that were clearly a jab at him. it looks like adami sometimes only listen to carlos and doesn't communicate with xavi (i'm not a xavi fan, but poor guy has it rough and since charles said xavi is the person he trusts the most in the team... yeah, something was/is up), reason why the team sometimes pulled some shit that ended up being charles' to pay. one of the latest issues was in spain: charles out in q1 bc he had an issues (ferrari didn't disclose what it was, saying there was nothing wrong, but after years of knowing them, i personally think charles had a broken chassis or a wrong set up of the differential gear), but carlos got p2 and adami's comment was something along the lines of "what a team" (meant as a praise). like obviously a race engineer is going to be happy for their driver, but this wasn't a team result, more like a team failure bc if the car was THAT good during qualifying, both cars should have made it to the front at least. also, a lot of times charles complained to xavi bc they didn't let him out first for qualifying (for example it happened in australia and in monaco). then you hear the communtications on carlos' side of the garage and you have adami telling him to go out, so he finds himself in front of charles. yes, xavi makes mistakes nobody can say the opposite, but i feel like a lot of times it's adami who doesn't even listen to him for whatever reason he has to dislike charles. then you have charles having to pull stuff out of his ass to still end up in front of carlos.
so idk in which order i'm saying things, but yeah... the situation is not ideal inside the team, with people disliking one another and whatever. they are missing the key for success: comunication. this is something the red bull and mercedes have and they rarely lack it, reason why even in bad situations they can make it out.
personally i think things are changing a bit with vasseur, but the process is long and it's not something you can fix easily. but the fact that in canada the team told the drivers to not fight (bc that is what it was) bc they thought perez would catch up with them is already something, bc i believe that if binotto was still there he would have let them fight it out, risking losing time and pace.
(Provrastinators uniteđâđ» good luck for your exams!đ«¶đ»)
I think a good example for things going wrong inside the team was silverstone and charles just taking off and leaving. If if was just another mistake, he wouldnât have done that imo, but it goes to show that he at least felt disrespected by the team, if not during the race then for sureee when binotto was showed lecturing him.
I feel like ferrari have such a big issue with valuing the drivers they have. They never see the potential or if they see it, they for some reason play it down and itâs a repetitive pattern with kimi, alonso, seb and now charles.
Also, i totally explained charles using fernandoâs tire managing trick against him in baku to my friends and my family even though most of them donât really caređđ
As you said, ferrari lack communication for sure. But also, merc and rb are given a lot of shit about having driver hierarchy especially when fighting at the top but honestly through the years, i think no one can deny that this method proved that itâs the most efficient way to win and dominate.
As for adami, I really donât pay too much attention to him so I didnât know all that! I mean I donât expect him to like Charles cause obviously heâs his teammateâs engineer but theyâre still part of the same teamâŠ
But i would totally believe Ferrari not admitting to what went wrong. There was DEFINITELY something wrong with the car in Spain, but thatâs not the only time I believe that Ferrari lied. Imo France last year wasnât completely charlesâ fault cause to me it was fishy that just before the crash, he was complaining about something in the car feeling off but as soon as he was doing interviews he was blaming himself fully?!? (not saying he doesnât hold any responsibility but idk)
And when it comes to Binotto, I never understood the man tbh. There was times where he talked about charles feeling like a son to him cause his son was of the same age and shit but thatâs also not how you would treat someone who you see as dear as your own blood. Like there was something not adding up at all.
And really, itâs a know fact that oversteery cars are âfasterâ and if iâm not wrong, max and lewis? both prefer oversteer on their cars.
As for the winning vs. getting points thing, it was literally seen just last week in Canada. Charles was saying that p4 is improvement but not the goal cause the goal is always to win while carlos was going around saying that weekend was perfect and the team nailed it (when literally the drivers did their own strategy) idk some people might not see it like that, but to me charlesâ mentality is winning mentalityđ€·đ»ââïž
Thereâs definitely positive changes happening within the team but part of me is scared that the results of these changes will appear when itâs already too lateâŠ

Tell us about Chenguang and Bell! What are their hobbies? Best school subjects? favorite game to either play with friends or rope their adult figures into?
Hobbies
Chenguang had something of a reputation at her daycare, because she was the kid who wanted to do everything. And that stays with her through most of her childhood. Sheâs a very active kid, though, so gradually she starts to shift towards more physical activities, but sheâs undecided which one she wants to go for.
Sheâs that kid on the playground who starts screaming and running as soon as her feet touch the ground, and 9 times out of 10 sheâs going to see something cool and then take off to investigate it. Her âexplorerâ games have led her off school grounds multiple timesâŠ
Which nicely segues into her school subjectsâŠ
And of course, when sheâs old enough to reach the knobs on the stove without a stool, she learns to cook. Itâs a great way for her to relax.
Bell on the other hand is more delicate and quiet. Sheâs the kid who likes tea ceremony, paper dolls, and sketching. Sheâs very good at sitting quietly with those tasks, to the point where a lot of the time adults forget sheâs even in the room.
As she grows older she starts to get a taste for historical dramas; initially interested in the fashions and the royals, she sloooowly starts to get invested in the political intrigue, chiming in with her own ideas of what the emperor ought to do and why this alliance would be better in the long term.
School
âŠChenguangâs best subjects are, without question, Sports and Natural Science. Sheâs one of her classâs best runners, and she loves learning about animals, bugs, plants, etc.
Chenguang loves learning in general though, itâs hard to find a subject she doesnât just latch onto and devour.
You might think this means she has trouble sitting still, but surprisingly not.
Bell, as it turns out, loves science as well. When Syntax had to sit for her, sheâd often watch him work, and since she didnât bother him and let him finish quickly (and because okay, darn it, the little bug is growing on him), he would usually be like âOkay, now that thatâs finished⊠Do you want to learn how volcanoes work?â
And thatâs how Huntsman found them going all âmad scientistâ over a tinfoil volcano with baking soda and red dye, Syntax asking âOkay, now how did this happen?â âThe baking soda and the vinegar react when combined, becauseâŠ!â
(And if you donât think Syntax isnât a little bit smug about how Bell prefers what he can teach her, youâre wrong.)
Bell also gets super into history, and as she grows older, forms an interest in fashion design.
Favorite Games/Activity
Chenguang can and will rope you into her pretend games about exploring a new land or traveling to fight a legendary monster. No, thatâs no ice cream truck, thatâs an ice cream monster, we gotta catch it!
She also will rope adults into hide-and-seek⊠by not telling them sheâs playing, simply hiding somewhere and waiting to be found. Itâs caused numerous moments of panic.
Bell will drag people into tea parties.
Huntsman is frustrated by this the first time heâs made to do it but perks up considerably when the kid lowers her teacup, adjusts her paper crown, and declares in her best Princess Voice âI have a problem with the Centipede Kingdom and need your advice.â
When she gets older and discovers her interest in fashion, she makes everyone stand still so she can measure them and figure out some new clothes. This is gently indulged until it turns out that no, she actually made something really good, then itâs like â....holy shit.â

I am reminded of this reddit post and update, from a person seeking to recreate a dish their mum used to make based on not much more than "chicken, peaches, and it was beige".
I am a pretty competent cook, so don't worry about that bit. I just want to know if this dish sounds familiar, so someone can fill me in on the parts I don't remember. It's a chicken dish made with flat chicken cutlets. I think she used to hammer them a bit with a kitchen mallet, dredge them in flour, and pan fry them in a little butter so they would brown nicely. The sauce is the part I am a little lost about. She used white wine (probably chardonnay) and sour cream, that part I am sure of. There were canned peaches too, which were slightly browned and served on top. I'm sure there was something more to it than that, any thoughts? The flavor was tangy, not particularly sweet except for the peaches, and the sauce was opaque and kind of a beige color. Does this sound like a dish you are aware of? While her food was great, her dishes were usually pretty simple. It is likely that this is not something she invented herself, but it might be something that she simplified. Does anyone know what this is or what it is called so I can look it up and try and get it right? She used to serve it with grilled zucchini brushed with garlic butter. Thank you. Edit -- I am blown away with how helpful and kind you all have been. I have taken little hints from each of your posts and a lot of them have jogged my memory. I think some sort of composite from these suggestions will produce something close. I am going to try to make it when I have the chance, and I will update when I do. Thank you, reddit. <3
Update 6 days later:
My mom passed away a few years ago. I needed help trying to recreate a chicken recipe of hers that I have been craving, because I could only remember a few ingredients. You amazing people of r/recipes came through and gave me so many wonderful suggestions. With a mix of all your advice, I made it tonight. I was nervous as I was putting it together. I felt like there had to be something more to it, but I went with using just the ingredients I knew (as suggested by Ethril). I felt like there was something I was forgetting. Something about brown specks in the sauce. I went with it anyway, and figured I would know what to add at the end by taste. I took chicken cutlets and hammered them flat. Dredged in flour and sauteed in butter (high heat). I burned the butter a little. I remembered my mom saying that butter is the one thing that is ok to burn (as long as it is not smoking furiously) so I left it alone, and smiled at the memory. I was pleased to see the chicken brown to the color I remember. When I flipped the chicken I added the zucchini spears and browned those too. When the chicken was done (just a couple minutes) I set it aside and covered it in tinfoil to keep it warm, then turned the zucchini and browned the peaches in the same pan. It only took a few minutes to brown everything and when the zucchini and peaches were done I put them aside with the chicken. I deglazed the empty pan with chardonnay. My mom wasn't a big wine person, so I went with the cheapest they had. I suddenly remembered that sound the wine would make when it hit the hot pan, a huge hiss. Mom used to tell me to step back before she poured it in, because it would splash a little. I felt like I was nine years old again. I added three big dollops of sour cream and dissolved it in the hot wine. I didn't know what I was going to do next, this was all I had planned. Then I saw the little brown flecks come up. It was that burned butter! I just about cried. I tasted it, and suddenly in my mind I was standing in her kitchen as a kid watching her cook. This was it. It was that simple. I added a couple spoonfuls of the liquid from the canned peaches to take away a little of the wine's tartness, and the sauce was perfect. Just like she used to make. Keep in mind that I am no food stylist, but I assure you that this tasted 10x better than it looks: http://i.imgur.com/Qgk6u.jpg The whole thing took less than 20 minutes to make. And I fucking nailed it. Thank you so, so much reddit! You brought me back, and I love you. The smell is still lingering in the house.

"I can never get it tasting like my mom used to make" yeah, because your mom had a giant Costco-size bottle of a specific pre-mixed spice blend that was discontinued by its manufacturer in 1998 and spent your entire childhood putting it in every meal to use the stupid thing up faster â she doesn't know how to replicate it any more than you do.

Today I decided to challenge myself in another episode of âAm I depressed or do I just love being alone?â. So I went to the Erasmus sports event, where they offered friendly matches of basketball, volleyball and football. Worst thing that could happen was being out of breath but then at least I wouldnât have to talk to anyone. Thanks to my disastrous attempt to buy cigarettes, I havenât smoked and was probably in good form. The other day, on my way to the bar, I stopped at a store where the lady didnât speak any English. A cue build behind me so I panicked and pointed on the cheapest package. Arriving first at the bar i imagined a scenario where the others would find me speaking to a group of young Polish people â âah no, I just met themâ. I pulled a classic and asked some guys next to me for a lighter (I had my own of course). I lit my cigarette and realized that I had to click it. It did NOT taste like peppermint at all. Then it went out immediately. Obviously, I couldnât ask for the lighter â again - because what if they think I am an embarrassing non-smoker, to stupid to inhale? Secretly, I pulled out my own lighter, turned around and hunched down to hide up my private flammable possession. Another drag and OUT AGAIN. But I ainât no quitter so deep quick breaths straight to the lunges. Just in time for the others. Quick skeptical eyes that inspected the insides of my cigarette â pure tinfoil. I bought those fake things to put inside the stupid inhalers.
So anyhow, football was great, I only failed in technique not in fitness. Enough though to put me in a loop where i reconsidered if I was ever any good or just "good for a girlâ. Pretty sure i peaked in middle school because people were surprised by my fearlessness. Still iconic, i convinced myself, who cares, only to then a have a guy next to me: looking ⊠and then asking: âyou didnât meant to go to volleyball???â after we did a whole warm-up together. Ah right thank you, I mistook the whole field and enjoyed your company so much.

Ok so I have been thinking about this for a while and this could totally be complete and utter bullshit. But I canât help but think about and notice certain things. Fair warning this is gonna be long
One of the main questions I see is why didnât Joseph get with Doja back in 2022 when she showed clear interest? Then the whole Noah situation happened and it kind of fizzled out and everyone went their separate ways. Now *puts on tinfoil hat*, we know Doja has clear self image issues and is insecure about her racial identity. Certain behaviors and people she chose to associate herself with despite how she presents to the world is a clear indicator. Now when Doja started to change her look and aesthetic, she also changed parts of her body. Everyone has free will and can do what they want to their own bodies yes, but thereâs been rumors of skin bleaching and regarding her breast lift and liposuction done to her thighs, someone left a comment under a video on YouTube that explained Dojaâs surgery, that on one live she did she stated that she wanted surgery because she wanted black men to stop sexualizing her. Now is this true? I canât say because Iâve never seen that specific live and even when I was a fan I never tuned in that much anyway. But, if it is true, she made it very specific that she wanted Black men to stop sexualizing her. It would be different if she said men in general. Again, that is if the person who left the comment is telling the truth.
Now you might wonder why or how this has any relevancy to Joseph and their relationship they have now. Well, something Iâve wondered about is the fact that maybe Joseph didnât get with Doja back in 2022 not only because of the back and forth between her and Noah, but because she had a certain âaestheticâ that didnât match with what he typically looks for in a woman. She had beautifully colorful wigs and lace fronts, her outfits were gorgeous too. Now connecting Dojaâs self hatred and Josephâs seemingly snobby attitude towards Americans and his âtastesâ, Doja got with another white man(the rapist ex), and she started to dress and look a certain way. She got smaller, dyed her hair blonde, and overall wasnât the same. Now I support change and growth and evolving as humans in terms of our personal style, but again in Dojaâs case I think it was just another example of her insecurities coming to light and her having the money now to change it. She changes according to the men she dates to fit their aesthetic. And now cut to Joseph, maybe he finally entertained her because she didnât present so âurbanâ for lack of a better term. It all goes back to racism and classism. She now dresses in more dark colors and trench coats similar to what he wears, sheâs toned down a lot of outfits and is also not as outspoken, or her responses on twitter to fans are not so brazen and blunt.
She changed herself because she canât ever come to terms with her blackness as a self hating biracial woman, and Joseph finally gave her the time of day because she now fits what he typically goes for in a woman. She changes herself to appeal to white men more, distancing herself further from her blackness, and this is when Joseph accepts. Itâs all weird isnât it? Itâs like those stories of biracial couples where the black or half black partner has to âtone downâ to be accepted and desired by their white partner. Now you can argue that Doja did all of this for herself. And youâre most likely correct, but it still doesnât change the fact that she has and always will be insecure about her blackness. And itâs crazy to me that Joseph finally gets with her when she looks more âwhiteâ so to speak. Iâm going on a rant and I may sound like a fucking lunatic tbh and Iâm not even sure if Iâm phrasing any of this correctly. But to sum it all up, weâve heard this time and time again that just because a white person dated a person of color, it still doesnât mean they arenât racist. If you apply that to this situation, Doja is trying to distance herself from being black, and thatâs when Joseph gets with her. Dating someone who has deep rooted issues with themselves especially ethnically and racially is never easy and itâs quite hard to ignore.
(I understand that being black doesnât mean that you have to fit into a certain box. Being black isnât always a monolith and at the end of the day, doesnât define music tastes, fashion sense, or personally creative expression. However Doja just seems to really struggle with being Black/African in general)
Interesting take.

Liveblog: Wakfu Season 2 (episodes 1-5)
Episode 1 - Monsters and Chimeras
I didn't mention it in the liveblog of season 1, but I think it is probably common for a person in a group of adventurers to be a scribe/quest journal keeper.
(putting on a crepinjurgenite tinfoil hat) We know that Kerubim keeps one canonically, and that as a child Joris liked scrap booking, so my headcanon is as follows:
While travelling alone, Joris keeps a private travel journal nobody is allowed to read (it has: drawings and photos of views he found beautiful + quick sketches of maps and notes on environment to refine at home (HE'S CANONICALLY INTO CARTOGRAPHY, BESIDES PHOTOGRAPHY) + he gets sappy&mentally ill about it all, so it's cringe to him.) (Unsurprisingly, it never contains any sensitive political data or his objectives, and if he does need to write something like that down, he tears that page out asap)
Atcham doesn't keep journals as a rule (having a literal paper trail might reveal to the investigators the location where he hid the bodies)
While travelling as a group, Kerubim keeps the journal, and it's a pretty pragmatic one (for him. He writes down the most random things, from important info, to actual fucking recipies he learned and personal notes Ă la "NOTE! next morning after we exit the tavern i should buy tangerines. i think Joris is beginning to suffer vitamin C deficiency but is keeping silent about it as usual"). Unlike Joris, he isn't into photography or doodling, HOWEVER, he will purposefully ask Joris to take photos and draw maps/landmarks in that journal. Because Joris is good at it. (And because he has had a folder of Joris's art through ages 4-600 in a hidden room in the house, all framed and sorted alphabetically, and he NEEDS more items in the collection.)
Episode 2 - Rubilaxia
It was mentioned at the end of the previous episode that Eva would be making her way through the Cania plains, and I am glad the series shows us at least one of the unique rocks found in Cania.

I don't know why, but it feels nice when the games and the cartoons represent the same place the same way. That's why I'm pointing that out.
Episode 3 - Remington Smisse
(coughs) This sword appears in episode 1 of the critically acclaimed (and worldwide-beloved) show under the name "Dofus: Aux Tresors de Kerubim"
Once again, the show has been planting seeds for Adamai's joker arc for its entire run, and still managed to squander it during season 3.
I have never seen a show fumble the bag that bad, I'm sorry.
Episode 4 - The Return of Percedal
Big believer in rubitristeva. A family can be a dad and swdad (sword dad) and a mom.
Episode 5 - The Dragon Pig
Wakfu Cannibalism Counter: 1
The reason I point this out is that, with every instance of inter-adventurer cannibalism in canon, the chance that Joris, Kerubim, and Atcham have tasted human flesh (outside of Waven) grows.
On the topic of Waven Cannibalism Lore, strangely, porkassess, AKA the pig people who are stuck in a mutual cannibalism war with Bonta under Joris's rule (technically not cannibalism because they are a different sentient species from twelvians, similar to goblins and bworks, but I doubt it's much better...) worship the minor god Ougah (who is a mushroom)

It is unknown (at least, to me) what the hell the Dragon Pig is.
But he is definitely tasty.
While they were busy grinding their professions and doing pizzlarva quests, he was dungeon crawling with his guild.
Also, let me be real, the whole conflict of "boo-hoo, nobody respects Tristepin" is random, mean-spirited, and out of character, inserted into the show simply to create conflict. Tristepin got resurrected after weeks of them thinking he was dead. They should not, logically, treat him this way (at least yet).
Reasons I think Dragon Pig might be an immortal, perpetually reincarnating/perpetually killed porkass: Does this to a person who lives in areas surrounding Bonta.
