Also, yall a goddamn lie cause who is up here telling you not to vote? I've not once seen a single person come on here and tell yall not to vote, what I have seen is people telling yall to focus on local elections and I've seen people saying that they are abstaining from voting in the presidential election in protest of a genocide that our government has been funding for MONTHS now. Yall do this every election cycle and I cannot stress enough, that if letting people know that their government is bankrolling a genocide is "election tampering" then what does that say about our government? What does it say about the state of US politics that the only way to "protect the vulnerable members of our society" is to excuse genocide?

I just wanna let yall know I went to Yokoso’s for my bday dinner tonight and thassa hibachi steakhouse place my fave but we had the BEST fuckin chef there okay his name was “Japanese Bob” or “JB” and when he learned it was my birthday he was like “Oh has today been a good day? Did you have to work at all?”

And I was like “Today’s been good, and I didn’t work today.” And so he went “Oh you got a three day weekend? You off Monday too?” So I was like “I don’t work. I go to school.”

And he looked shocked like, “School??” So I said “Yeah, I start college on Monday.” And I swear to God so this man goes

“Oh, thank God. I thought you meant High School. I was gonna say, “I don’t want to get arrested again!”“ And I’m here looking like

Man was kinda funny tho, I couldn’t help but laugh. He had me smack the big pile of rice they always cook and had me say “Who’s yo mama” and “Say my name” 

He also gave me extra shrimp and veggies and also had me catch some lil shrimp pieces in my mouth since it was my bday and I caught 3 out of 5 which was pretty damn good I’d say especially since I caught the first one he threw

And I couldn’t tell you when after something he said but he had the NERVE the AUDACITY to tell me “Ayy, you’re blushing, birthday girl” like damn boi I figured I was but don’t point it out that only makes it worse

And then I had to do the floss to some Japanese song he and some other people who work there sang after they all sang happy birthday to me

So that was my bday dinner yall it was great 10/10. To Japanese Bob, wherever you are, have a great day and life, my dude

I swear to God yall get on my fuckin nerves with that "it's not made for you!" Shit In response to Black people criticizing antiblackness in Japanese media. Like shut your japan fetishizing ass up! Your favorite Mangaka isn't gonna high five you for kissin they ass!

It's really crazy to me that; that's yall go to, to try and shut down the conversation too cause like, we know?

We know we're not the target audience, we're rarely the target audience of anything and when we are its always VERY apparent when we're being marketed to.

Just because a Mangaka, or an anime studio, or a game dev never thought or cared to think of the impact their antiblack depictions of Black people would be be seen, consumed, and discussed by Black audiences doesn't mean we're not allowed to criticize it?

Shounen is made with teenage boys in mind but I still see yall big overgrown asses having opinions and criticisms of the genre.

Why do yall all of a sudden forget that people outside of the intended audience and consume and critique media as they see fit?
