And before I get asks saying I'm overthinking what Madoka is about: It's literally a show heavily inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena, a show about the female lead wanting to be like a fairytale prince so she could protect women, before realizing that the prince she built her personality around is imaginary and a farce and that no man is really like that.

The annoying thing with twst constantly referencing Madoka is that Madoka is a show that is, ultimately, a piece on how misogyny harms every young woman... while twst is a game with solely male main characters, essentially hollowing out the meaning of Madoka Magica to surface level observations and themes while playing into societal misogyny.

Anyways this can be fixed if we make Malleus a lesbian goodnight everyone!
