Lost tale Christmas

A short story. . . Or as short as I want that is, Please tell me if you like it! I spent quite a bit on it, And it was so fun to make! I hope you all love this as much as I do.

Happy holidays.

"Deary, You really should wear some scarf this time of year-" Toriel said, Putting another hat on top of the other one, She wouldn't risk her child falling into another puddle, And getting sick.. again.

Humans really were much more delicate these days it seemed, With there weaker immune system.

"But I'm finnnneee- I wanna catch the snow!!"

Frisk said, Throwing off the hat that toriel carefully out on with a huff, crossing there arms and acting serious, the snow in snowdin wasn't even that cold anyway, this was all just a big waste of time! It was even more annoying they couldn't bring there doll with them out in the snow.

"I'm five years old now! I can make big decisions you know, I'm not a baby." Frisk stated, acting high and mighty.

"Child, Really if your not going to where your hat how can I trust you won't get sick?"

Toriel asked, Putting her paws together as if begging the child to just wear there hat this once

"Fine.." Frisk Gave up, Putting the oversized hat back on with much annoyance, Before grabbing toriels paw.

"Now come on! I don't wanna be late! I wanna see the snow, Right now!"

Frisk said pulling toriel out, Who sighed, giggling to themselves as this child who barely weighed more then a carton of milk tried to haul them off outside.

"Fine, Fine; My child just give me one moment won't you?"

She said as she put on her fluffy coat, zipping it up and taking her time to get it on; Much to frisks dismay.

"Come on! You gotta hurry up! you never let me see the snow in snowdin! And this is my one chance we can go see it today!!!"

Frisk whined impatiently, Stomping there foot with there arms crossed, Giving there best glare they can muster with there mask on.

Toriel does there best to not laugh at the sight, "Oh ho ho; Child patience is a wonderful virtue, You don't want Mr Santa to be dissapointed do you?" Toriel asked good naturally as they put on there hat.

"Hey don't bring Santa into this!" Frisk said, looking a little more grumpy then before, Which toriel couldn't help but chuckle about as she wrapped up her scarf around her neck.

"Alright now, Let's go off, you have your hat right?"

Frisk sighed and nodded, The ugly grey hat sitting on top of there head like some old leather snow, With its poorly made animal ears on top of it.

"Yeah yeah, Now let's go!"

Frisk said, Rushing to the bottom of the ruins down the stairs, Toriel couldn't help but sigh, She worried frisk was a little to eager to go off on there own..

"Now now child, Hold my hand, You can't go to far off without me.."

Frisk sighed, Grabbing toriels hand as toriel gave one strong push and opened up the old ruins door, Making some dust kick up in the air.

Frisk had to rub at there eyes, or well as much as they could with the mask, as the snow hurt to look at for a moment or two, Before they rushed toward it, Kicking it up and laughing as they fell over.

"Be careful my child!" Toriel called out, Though she couldn't help but smile at the sight of frisk having such fun, Of course it was only two steps away from the ruins they couldn't venture to far out, going off this far still felt like an adventure to frisk.

Toriel sighed, closing her eyes for a moment as she remembered somthing, Somthing from far away..

Quickly though, The memory is chased off as frisk pulls at her dress and she looks down, Noticing an odd lump of snow coiled together, With sticks patroding out the middle, And rock on the crudly made face, and two more small sticks, Impaled into its head.

"Look, Look goat mom I made you! Isn't it super super cool!"

Frisk said, looking up at there mother, Expecting some sort of congratulations from them.

And toriel didn't even try not to smile, laughing hard as they looked down.

"How wonderful, This snowman looks just like me, You did a fantastic job."

Toriel praised frisk, Picking them up and grabbing there old, and a little junky phone and snapping a picture of the snowman.

"Now, It is getting late.." Toriel said as frisk groaned in disappointment, but didn't object as she carried frisk back inside the ruins, Toriel didn't like the idea of staying out there two late incase some other monsters wondered to close to the door..

As toriel walked back up the stairs frisk stirred in the arms looking up at them "Do you hate the snow?" Frisk asked Observantly,

"Of course not my child, Though I must say it does get everywhere, And with my fur it's such a Hassel to-"

Toriel paused noticing the bored look on frisks face. "No my child, I don't."

"Then can we go out into the snow more often..?"

Frisk asked hopefully, as toriel gently sat them down on her old rocking chair while toriel Scours for a good book to help frisk fall asleep.

".. Maybe, All.. have to think about it."

Toriel said slowly, With a bit of hesitancy in her voice as she picked up an old 'Fluffy bunny book.

"Now do you want to help read this with me?" Toriel asked, As frisk nodded thoughtfully going over to the kitchen and grabbing the doll they left on the counter before climbing into Toriels lap, Looking up at them and down at the book.

Toriel looked down at the book, Opening it up and taking in a breath as she looked down at the old, Almost scratched up pages of the book, So old the cartoon was fading, and somthing about that caused her to smile,

"Do you know the title of this book?"

*She prompted frisk, Who looked up at the page quizzically, Knowing it was the same words at the front of the book.*

"F-Fluffy.. Fluffy bunny's tree?"

Frisk said sounding the words out carefully before smiling, this reading thing was super easy.

Toriel laughed and nodded, Patting frisks head before flipping the page on to the next..

A quiet Christmas, But a lovely one indeed, As the fire warmed and crackled next to them, all was well in the dreemurs house.

I am a romantic at heart, so I would assume that Riddle’s favourite one would be the long, supple and slippery eel one. It just sounds right. 😌 It’s also probably the most unpredictable because it moves, and Riddle hates unpredictability, so we get a perfect match.

On the topic of parents, I was asking myself who would be the most likely to raise a kid together in canon in the future, and I think that if Kalim has kids he will definitely rope in Jamil, no matter the kind of relationship they have. His life would be even more at risk as the head of the Asim, so I can imagine he would try to get someone he can trust to become the legal guardian of his child/children in case something happens to him, and we all know that there is no one he trusts as much as Jamil. "And when I'll die you'll take care of them" "When!?". Yeah, a baby would absolutely make Floyd fuck off lol Which is ironic, because while I don’t see Riddle as someone who would necessarily do it, he gets pretty unexpectedly unhinged sometimes… I don’t see it, but I don’t not see it if that makes sense. It wouldn’t be a premeditated decision; it’s more like a crime of passion. If he manages to make a baby with magic somehow… the chances are super low, but considering how unstable Floyd can make him, never zero lol

To answer your question properly, I can’t think of many options to be honest, but two characters who came to mind first would be Malleus and Azul. My reasoning for Malleus: lay an egg => demand attention.

And Azul would do anything to tie a person to himself if he needs to; a baby would bring a lot of unnecessary expenses, but if nothing else works, putting a bunch of eggs inside his lover’s body is always an option. Wow, both of them are egg related…

We are talking about the boys here, but I feel like even if Azul was a lady, he wouldn’t want to get pregnant herself. The world would hear the most menacing “I’ve already paid the surrogate, Idia-san” ever.

Ortho could do it in a yandere scenario, I think. Sebek and Kalim are also suuuuper not likely, but somehow more likely than the rest of the boys.

Aaravos Headcanons (Part 1):

I have way too many so I'm dividing them into parts!

General startouch elf headcanons:

- Startouch elves do not need to eat, but somtimes they do, just for fun

- They don't need much sleep and are mostly nocturnal. Aaravos, however, tries to stay awake during the day so that he can interact with humans and other elves.

- All startouch elves are lactose intolerant (this is based on the fact that they are the first elves, and the first humans in our world were lactose intolerant. The lactose tolerance gene evolved later.) Aaravos does not mind this fact until the invention of ice cream. He now revenge eats it only to regret it later.

Aaravos headcanons:

- He slept like a rock before his imprisonment and could fall asleep in any position. However, he has had nightmares for the past three centuries and now moves around a lot while he sleeps. This has had disastrous consequences for his pillows (look at those horns).

- Aaravos is autistic and has special interests in magic and humans.

- He is so filled with magic you can literally feel it on him. His skin feels almost like it's humming with the magical energy coursing through his body.

- Aaravos is a demiboy. I also hc him as aromantic bisexual but don't feel too strongly about that one (I also like bisexual Aaravos and aroace Aaravos lol)

- Aaravos is a huge nerd when it comes to magic like he knows ALL the spells. He even knew of the one that killed Avizandum but asked Viren anyway cause he wanted to hear the story and wanted to socialize after such a long time alone.

- There is no food in his prison because he doesn't need to eat. He misses apples dearly.

- Aaravos had to learn how to cut his own hair during the start of his imprisonment. Although he eventually got quite good at it, he struggled a lot at first and had some bad hair days. Avizandum laughed at him when he cut off most of his bangs, which hurt his pride. Illustrated below (old art don't judge):

- He has a high pain tolerance and is hyposensitive to pain.

- He has sensory issues with fabric and doesn't like to wear much clothing, which is why he did not wear pants or shoes prior to his fall.

- Aaravos is very fastidious with his grooming for the most part, but after imprisonment he gets depressed sometimes and can't take care of himself. This causes him to spiral further. He is occasionally in this cycle for years before his rage snaps him out of it.

- His favorite color is purple.

- He misses the stars and nature in general. His primal magic is weaker in prison and he feels less connected to all of the primal sources, especially the stars. This saddens him.

- Aaravos does not do dark magic, not because he is opposed to it morally, but because he doesn't see the need to. Primal + deep magic handle things fine so why complicate things and harm yourself?

well, with what said i probably am something under this umbrella of non human terms i guess, its just hard figuring out what and im probably not the only one struggling, i mean tbh my pronouns aren't entirely human (they/it/clown/jester/jelly), i guess since my friends mentioned my animal like behaviour i just started to question myself a little more, which is definitely causing identify crisis. i guess since discovering therians it got me questioning lol

gemini: how often will your plot change throughout the course of writing?

Not often. I usually have a pretty clear idea of what I want to do for a fic before I actually start writing. Sometimes more will be added to it but it’s rare that the major plot itself will be altered.

cancer: how do you write emotional scenes? do you ever feel what the characters feel?

Personally, I think describing emotions is something I struggle with. I have this issue where I think have a very vivid imagination of the exact tone each character used or the expression they have but I’m not sure if I had self-enhanced my own writing in my imagination and that the feelings can’t be delivered to the readers. Mostly I just spill everything and wish for the best lol Somtimes I get pretty sad for my characters when I write but mostly I’ll try to detach myself from those feelings just to make sure my writing is still flowing haha

aquarius: what is the most unique thing about your current wip?

I forgot to mention Jun when he is correcting your pronunciation, he will tend to have much larger gesture cos he got excited.

You will be trying to shape your mouth and tongue position by following his instructions.

When you are struggling in some pronunciation, he would to reach out his hand wanna help shape your lips directly but will brakes and pulls back his hand. (He is not doing it on purpose he just got excited and happy but then remembered "personal space" lol)

And gestures while explaining how the shape should be in front of his mouth.

When explaining grammar, he would write down on your paper so that you could refer to it.

By the end of the note, he will draw a cat face. Each time different ones.

Sometimes he will write similar terms too so that you can get heads up beforehand. He will keep it simple to not confuse you.

These are the moments he use 약간이렇게 (yakkan irokke)/like/ (metaphors describing) alot.

And so Minghao also dropped his guard towards you. And planned to help you secretly. (You won't know it)

After the speech test thing, you have gotten the hang of how Chinese pronunciation works so lesser the derp faces to appear.

Move ahead to next session of Chinese crash course. More new terms to learn and seeing you struggle, Jun asked if he could draw in your textbook. Then he scribbles some illustrations to it. With picture you remember easier.

You are amazed at his drawing skills. You thought he only draws the cat face, but he can draw even more.

Then you asked Jun if he is free on upcoming weekend. You straightforwardly says that you planned to bring him to have some nice food. As an appreciation for helping you so much

Okay so Mcree gets a scholarship to this university in Tokyo with a group from the Overwatch international community college because the boy is a quick learner and took like a year or two of Japanese and can do okay in formal dilect but is kind of struggling with using casual (its the same thing for me even though ive been doing Japanese for four years now). So he’s going to be in Japan for the next five years (one to get a solid grip on Japanese and the other four to get a master’s in teaching/ history (he’s a history buff, tho he’s also game for being a spanish/english/japanese teacher)). And let’s say he’s Twenty for simplicites sake, which puts Hanzo at 21 and Genji at 18. (Also warning in advance, I overuse paranthese.)

In the program he gets into, he gets a host family. In his case, he gets the Shimada clan as his host family. Why does the Shimada do it? Probbly tax evasion, i dont know how rich crime synidates works and i dont really want to find out via irl experiences. 

Hanzo is closest in age to Mcree, so  he’s get put in charge of how Mccree get’s to uni, how he gets lunch, and tries to make sure that he doesnt bring shame to the family name. They find out very quickly that they go to the same University, though for diffrent majors (Mccree in Teaching/history and Hanzo in bussiness/mathmatics). At first he keeps Mccree at Arms length and is always civil though curt at times, but then he learns more about Mccree and starts getting a crush on him which leaves him flustered as hell but eventually he tries his hardest to flirt with him which both works and doesnt at the same time. He has the mentally of the golden child and the “i cant be the scape goat mentality”.

Genji is fresh out of high school and is hitting the rebellious phase full throttle. His hair is a diffrent color each month, he has peircings (probbly clip on/magnet ear rings at first because yeah... japan has stigma against actual peircings and while genji might be a yakuza, he’s a bit of baby), and gets a non-yakuza related tatto every month divisable by 3. (If you think thats child play and are a rebellious american teen, remeber that these thinks are considered pretty taboo. when i was at a very liberal school, my host sister still had clip on earings). He’s both the delinquent who is almost never at school, is asleep when he is there, and parties all night and the straight a student who gets good grades on all the hw and tests. Always compared to his brother. He constantly teaches Mccree cuss words and tries to get him to teach him Spanish cuss words. He acts like a hotshot/hot mess at first but later he reveals that he’s got a heart of gold in there somewhere. He constantly gives Hanzo shit about his crush on Mccree and does the same to Mccree. He’s not sure what he wants to do with his life, but he doesnt want to follow his familes footsteps. He’s also a big gaming nerd.

I should probbly talk about Jesse since I’m doing very deep bits about Genji and Hanzo. Let me just say that Mccree is smart. Thats a fact. He’s got a better than average grasp on mechanics (from hotwiring cars in his youth, fixing his prothestic with minor things, making a motorcycle with Gabe when he was older, and learning a bit more once he realized that there a sometimes Omnics who dont get the help they need), he’s so well trained with a gun that it’s not really a joke anymore when he calls it dead eye, can take apart a gun in seconds, knows how to ride a horse, can cook pretty well, and stealthy as hell when he needs to be. And he’s at least bilingual. These might come as a surpise to those who think he’s just a cowpoke because he doesnt boast much. He was part of deadlock until he was 15, when Deadlock was broken up by the san fran police. He got adopted by Gabriel reyes and Jack Morrison and has an adopted sister who went by Sombra for a year before they finally found out that her name was Olivia.

So we have Mccree thrust into a new family drama which he takes in stride and tries to help where he can. He acts polite and doesnt “disrespect the clan” (he’s speaking formal japanese almost 25/8, quickly learning how to use Kego (the highest form of japnese which reserved for extremely higher ups like company presidents, priniples, gods, and probbly yakuza bosses), correcting any cultural accidents, ect), he tries to make sure that Hanzo gets more friends/and is able to leave his shell (introduces Hanzo to the rest of his group (which consists of Miora, Mei, Zenyatta, Widowmaker, and Mercy who are both in running start), acts competive with him, pesters Hanzo to act childish), he tries to get both brothers some help mentaly/emotionally (at first he tries getting them therapy, but relizes they dont know how bad their mental health is so he has to struggle to give them enough support that they can help themselves but somtimes he had to have interventions with them), and acts like a mentor figure to Genji (encourages his indivually, gives him advice when he needs it, encourages him to seek diffrent routes that the one he’s been given, calmly defends Genji’s choices to his family/the elders).

If i ended up writing this, it would be a hell of a slow burn and have a slight crossover with a comic i really like, Sakana because i remeber I went to the big Fishmarket on my first day in Tokyo. So i guess they would go to the fish market fairly often and interact with Jiro, Taro, and Yuudai. The Shimada bros probbly have some history with Taro because obviously has Yakuza ties. Yuudai is very passive agressive with Mccree but is very Gay about Hanzo. jiro is an anxious man.

Ships that i would probbly include would problly be: Mchanzo, One-sided Gency (from Genj because I dont really enjoy the ship but he probbly whould have a crush when he was younger), Moira/Mercy (when Mercy is like 20 or something and its temprary because that seems like a thing that would end in a year after all the ust and shit stops fueling their realtionship), Genyatta (originally part of the Give-Genji-a-support-system plan that Mccree had but Genji fell hard, either way it worked), Reaper76 (really fucking background because i like them pre-exploding lol), Chie/Jiro, Yuudai/Taisei

i know no one will red this and iam okay with that i dont want negative attention but attention will be attention and I know on here iam invisible somewhat and iam okay with that. but its been hard struggling with my drug addiction I really have had alot of people tell me they are sick of it in my life and i seem others get clean why cant i just talk to a counslor about this why cant i just go to rehab because I get bored easily i swear the moment i went to rehab center and i went i felt stifled and wanted to leave. some people are succesful there are so many wonderful succesful storys so why cant i out of these be succesful. its really not that hard to quit but i dont think its the drug iam actually wanting but more something i can blame or take and say iam not okay when mabye iam not okay yes ur not okay but i dont need to take a drug to make it better there are other things to make u feel better but all i have done is listened to music all day and i cant feel better depression is going to be a side effect and i have to give it at least a good couple months but that seems so long from now when in realtiy its actaully not. how can i suceed at life if i coutine to use I FUCKING KNOW evryone has been telling me i fucking know it evil bad its ruining my life for once i wish somone would just fucking say instead of why dont u quit would just say iam really sorry ur going through this right now what would be somethign to make u feel better this moment instead of like telling me u just need to be a better person and the only hope i rehab i fucking hate people somtimes they only have one response answers and evryones fuckign answer is rehab how many people have gotten clean just doing a detox or outpatient intensive its fuckign doable oh but ull be a addict still fuck u if iam n ot using herion iam not a addict i dotn care if i have to take subonxe or nethadone because iam not useing those meds in a unhelathy manner but yes all meds have side effects and the shitty part is those side effcts will be shit u rely on after a while. 16. Do they collect anything? What do they do with it? Where do they keep it? 

Scaaaarves, lol. Kaaras really loves scarves, and a scarf was one of the very first things he ever bought for himself. He also happens to loot the shit out of bodies in travels, trinkets and jewels, with the soul purpose to return them to said person’s family or someone close who can keep it. So...technically, he’s not collecting it, but he does keep them until he can find them a good home, or just let people of the Inquisition have them if no one takes claim to them (especially if they came from bandits or criminals). He doesn’t keep anything himself from looted corpses, it makes him feel like a thief, lol. But he definitely has a few nice rings and scarves. :) 

23. Do they have a good memory? Short term or long term? Are they good with names? Or faces? 

Yes and no. He’s definitely not perfect. If anything, I’d say he’s pretty damn average when it comes to memory. He can somtimes get caught off guard and OH SHINY and realise he needs to focus on what is being said. Kaaras has a lot of pent up energy inside him, and he always has. I know it’s definitely hard to see that at times since he’s so serious, but he can absolutely struggle with concentration at times, especially if he’s not very invested. He’s always learned better being hands on than anything else, so he struggles to listen at times in long and tedious meetings. 

He remembers faces more than names, but he IS the kind of person to try and remember everything about his significant other, especially special dates and such. :) He’ll never forget a birthday or anniversary. Some special occasion he can spoil them rotten XD

36. What are they good at? What hobbies do they like? Can they sing? 

What he’s good at: a number of skills, lol. Magic, strategy, hand to hand combat, maths, writing, he’s always eager to learn new things. He enjoys reading, spending time with his loved ones (he’s so simple at times haha), sparring, magic, horse riding and poetry. :3 He CAN sing, but he doesn’t really do it. He would not peruse it as a hobby or anything like that, despite the fact he has a pretty decent voice. While he likes music, it’s not something I’d consider a passion when it comes to Kaaras. 

44. What is their favourite season? Type of weather? Are they good in the cold or the heat? What weather do they complain in the most? 

Kaaras is a winter baby, and he loves the snow. I think people underestimate how much Kaaras likes the cold and loves snow, and he gets really annoyed with how many people complain about it being cold. XDDD He can’t STAND the heat, and he doesn’t do well in hot temperatures. It makes him uncomfortable and sweaty and he just hates it. He really doesn’t understand how people can enjoy being a hot, sweaty mess in summer, lol.
