I have so many Wangxian AU ideas and no one to really talk to about them sooo imma upload little snipbits while trying to write some of them!!

One of the modern Wangxian AU I wanna write~
Warnings: graphic depictions of violence, nsfw, 18+ explicit, drugged, stalked, kidnapped, sexually harassed, mentions of rape, and probably more. The only ones that apply to this post are drugged, stalked, and mentions of nsfw
Wei Ying secretly gave up everything for Jiang Cheng and Yanli after his foster parents died in a car accident coming to pick him up. Naturally, he acts like everything’s okay, even when he gives up on his life long dream of going to the same college as Lan Zhan, the best one in the world for music. He’s worked his ass off during high school and saved up so much money for tuition and such, bragging about his skill and dedication. So when he doesn’t sign up for college, everyone grows suspicious. His response?
“I wanna relax and live a little before hitting the books, you know?”
Such a drastic change, one that doesn’t make sense unless it’s because of his foster parents’s deaths. Due to the sensitive topic, no one really pushes, not even Lan Zhan whose’s upset at the change of plans.
Everyone said he just needed some time. But the next year, he doesn’t enroll again. Not even the one after that.
Lan Zhan and his brother are having a guys night and orders food in, only to find Wei Ying at his door, being their delivery guy. Wei Ying laughs it off, saying what a coincidence and acts like no time has passed. He won’t meet Lan Zhan’s eyes though, which is odd.
“We Ying… why haven’t you signed up for school?”
“Oh, you know, I wanna make sure I’m financially secure so I don’t have to stress as much when I go, you know?” His response is quiet and off, the smile present but little light in his eyes. Lan Zhan goes to speak, but Wei Ying quickly says his goodbye and leaves.
After that, Lan Zhan starts seeing him everywhere. Working at a coffee shop, a bookstore, an event for kids on a holiday. He looks tired and exhausted, bags under his eyes hidden behind that blinding smile. After all these years of knowing Wei Ying (they met during elementary school), he knows it’s forced and fake. That something’s wrong.
In one uniform he’s able to see more of Wei Ying, sees how unhealthily skinny he is, and finally decides to confront him.
He waits for Wei Ying at the coffee shop, watching him work. They walk together, Lan Zhan offering to buy him a drink.
He’s surprised at how fast Wei Ying gets drunk, and finds out Wei Ying hasn’t gotten drunk since the day Lan Zhan enrolled into college (he knows he underaged drank). That’s not like him at all. He loves drinking so why??
Towards the end of the night Lan Zhan walks him home. Before Wei Ying goes into his apartment, he turns to Lan Zhan and thanks him for reminding him what it’s like to have fun, to be with friends. He hopes to do it again sometime.
Wei Ying was known to be a social butterfly. How has he not hung out with anyone?? It makes him even more worried to the point where he asks around, only to find it true.
Then, videos are released. Videos of Wei Ying jerking off, of using toys on himself, etc. Wei Ying readily admits he sells pictures online that get people off, like of his feet in whatever they want, his hands, whatever. The only thing he hasn’t done is let anyone see him like that.
The videos make the Jiang Company look bad, the reporters saying they all must be the same and ‘how can they be related to such a disgusting person??’
Jiang Cheng grows furious and fights with Wei Ying again, both not in good conditions as it is.
Wei Ying tells everyone he’d have no problem admitting it if he did sell those videos, but no one believes him. He’s scared and pissed off cause how did someone film him? He’s being watched and stalked and can only rely on himself to stay safe since no one believes him.
Wei Ying ignores all calls and such, even from Lan Zhan. He eventually asks someone to investigate his apartment, and it ends up being Lan Xichen, the local investigator/high ranked officer.
Things only spiral from there, madness gripping Wei Ying in a choke hold. Lan Zhan refuses to let him go through this alone, and slowly learns Wei Ying is deeply entangled in matters that are beyond them; some matters that even surprise and devastate Wei Ying.

Here’s me being half asleep trying to write x.x it’s probably bad and such but I’ll fix it up when I fully write it up~
——-
The rain wouldn't stop, and neither would the shivers that wracked their bodies. Wei Ying's were particularly violent, and every attempt to help him out of his wet clothes now that they were inside ended with heated hisses and growls of "go away."
“Wei Ying, please-”
A soft knock on the door made both of them quickly turn, ready to fight and flee. Seeing it was just Xichen, the tension in their shoulders relaxed. Mostly. Not much would settle their hammering hearts anytime soon.
"Wangji," he sighed in relief, closing the door to his office behind him. "I came as fast as I could."
While the Lan family was mostly known for their pharmaceutical company that produced god-tier medicine, they were also known for their dedication "to the people." From war heroes to undercover officers, their family focused on saving lives in anyway they could. Xichen was a special investigator that often worked as an acting Chief of Police seeing as crime has skyrocketed in the last few years, resulting in dozens of calls with hardly anyone to respond to them.
Which was why they were hiding in his office.
"Xiong-Zhang," Lan Zhan managed calmly, glancing over at Wei Ying who's trembling, unfocused eyes haven't strayed from his brother. His trembles seemed to have intensified, he realizes, clenching his fists tighter against the chair's armrests. All he wanted was to wrap Wei Ying in a warm blanket and shield him from the world.
Understandably, Wei Ying won't even let him get close to him right now.
Xichen seemed to notice as he gave his warmest smile to Wei Ying, kneeling down in front of him "I heard what happened," he began, his words making the other visibly uncomfortable. "My team is combing through the footage right now. We'll find him, I promise."
For a moment, only one brief moment, Wei Ying stopped shivering. There was a darkness in his eyes that seems to lighten just a bit.
"Does... that mean..."
"Yes," Xichen assured, his tone deep and authoritative. For once in what felt like a lifetime, Wei Ying finally felt like he was being taken seriously. "Wangji managed to lure them to areas that have cameras. They're trying to get a ID on him."
A literal weight seemed to lift from Wei Ying's shoulders as a slurred laugh escaped him. Finally. Someone else finally saw him. He wasn't crazy, no matter how much he started to believe it himself. Maybe now they'll believe him - he never made those fucking lewd videos, let alone released them to the public. It didn't matter if the damage was already done, at least he'd be able to prove it once and for all that he wasn't lying.
"Even if you didn't record them, you still let someone see you like that!" Jiang Cheng angrily mocked a month ago, coldly turning his back to him. “You already took everything from my family, and now you dare soil our dignity!?"
"Wei Ying?" Lan Zhan's worried voice snapped him back, feeling his lungs starting to work again.
When did he stop breathing?
"Until they're found, I suggest you stay with someone you trust. We'll have an officer watch over you, of course."
Someone he trusted? Cloudy trembling eyes instinctively glanced over to Lan Zhan, the only person he felt safe with gazing back at him with those intense golden eyes brimming with determination. Much like himself, Lan Zhan was more than capable of defending himself. After all, they stood on even ground during their martial arts lessons back in the day. The only problem is knowingly putting Lan Zhan in danger. This stalker has somehow broken into his apartment several times to set up cameras and did who knows what else. Who's to say they won't react violently towards Lan Zhan?
"Wei Ying," Lan Zhan says, seemingly noticing his palpable anxiety. "You do not have to worry about me. Please let me help you." That tone - Wei Ying felt his breath hitch and heart flutter. Hearing the younger jade's voice so soft and practically pleading was new and almost heart wrenching. How could anyone say no when he asked so desperately?
"You're gonna get so sick of me," he managed a dry laugh, only to feel bile rush up his throat. Immediately he shut his mouth and swallowed, one of his shaking hands holding his neck without even realizing it. The reaction made both Lans scoot a bit forward, obviously worried.
"That brings us to another pressing matter," Xichen cleared his throat. "Your blood results came in. As you both suspected, you've been drugged."
Wei Ying nervously bite his bottom lip, waiting for the other to diplomatically proclaim they can't rule out he was a drug user. After all, the stalker planted evidence in his apartment to make it look like he was.
“Wangji, you picked the table out before arriving, did you not?" That had Wei Ying blinking, stealing another glance over at Lan Zhan, who nodded gravely.
"I suspected they would try to make a move soon. I wanted to prove to everyone that Wei Ying was telling the truth."
Xichen smiled as he nodded, seemingly understanding. "We've verified with his work he wasn't under the influence of anything before he left, and you can confirm he was clean before the restaurant?"
"Yes, I was with him the whole time." Wei Ying looked between the brothers, feeling like he missed something until it finally clicked. Lan Zhan purposefully sat them below the security camera, meaning they had Wei Ying being drugged on camera. Going from sober to disoriented without administering the drugs himself would prove to everyone that the drugs were intentionally planted in his apartment and give more credit to his accusations.
"Let me take you to the hospital to get flushed out-"
"No," Wei Ying quickly interjected, hugging himself nervously. Hospitals were cold and empty, and he didn't want anyone calling Jiang Cheng, or worse, Yanli.
Besides, it was an expense he couldn't afford.
Afford- oh god, money. He'd have to ask how he could work while being under protective care. Losing another one of his jobs was not an option.
"I'll call Wen Qing, she's a doctor and has helped me in the past."
"Wei Ying-"
"Please," he interrupted Lan Zhan, scaring himself with how aggressive he sounded. Wasn't he being just as rude when they waited for Xichen? How could Lan Zhan still want to help him with the way he's acting? He knew he was an emotional wreck but this was new to him. It must be the drugs, dammit.
Taking a deep breath, he somehow managed to stabilize his emotions and thoughts. "I don't want to go, I really only trust Wen Qing." More like she wouldn't charge him at all, but it wasn't like he could admit that.
"Would she be able to detox you without needing to be in a facility?" Xichen asked, a little surprised and alarmed if this were true.
"Yeah, she's a doctor, she helps me all the time-" he stops, realizing that's giving away too much. "She brags, you know?"
The brothers looked at each other, but didn’t say anything. Somehow Wei Ying knows that’s going to bite him in the ass soon enough. For now, he mentally sighed in relief seeing Xichen finally stand.
"I'll contact her then and have her meet at Wangji's place."
——
The rain wouldn't stop, just like his shivers. The seat warmers were comforting but did very little to still his body. Adrenaline induced? Probably. Though if he had to guess, this was his body's way of reacting to whatever that bastard drugged him with.
Despite popular belief, he wasn't a drug user. Unless popping tons of ibuprofen and Tylenol to soothe his stress and sleep deprived headaches counted, he certainty never touched that stuff. For one, too expensive, and two, he absolutely hated the idea of not being in control of his body and mind. Knowing someone managed to strip him of control made his face wrinkle in disgust, not even realizing he was growling until he felt those worried golden eyes on him again.
A hot flash of anger pursed through him, and before he realized what he was doing, his lips were moving once again: "Fucking GO AWAY!"
Watching the other immediately turn away made Wei Ying choke, catching a glimpse of hurt dimming the other's warmth.
Shit. Shit - fucking shit. What was WRONG with him?! Lan Zhan's done nothing but help him. He and his brother have been the only ones that have helped and believed in him. How could he say such things to him with so much animosity?!
Hell, even if Lan Zhan acted like everyone else, he'd still rather cut his own tongue off than talk to him like this!
Without warning, not even to himself, he slammed his head into the car window, sharp pain flooding into him, dimming a moment later.
No, that's not fair. He deserved to feel it after hurting Lan Zhan! Again pain flooded through him, lingering a little longer than last time as he repeated the motion.
Everything was fuzzy, his world swirling as he forced his eyes shut. The bile from earlier swam upwards again, forcing him to swallow it back down. His throat burned, his head ached. All of which he deserved.
No, he deserved much worse-
"Wei Ying..." Lan Zhan's deep voice rumbled near his ear. Cloudy gray eyes snapped open, seeing Lan Zhan's face inches from his own.
He couldn't move. He couldn't breath. How could anyone when they were this close to the most handsome man on earth?
Actually, Wei Ying wasn't sure if this man was even from earth. How could he be when Lan Zhan resembled the beautiful moon itself? Handsome and elegant, radiant and graceful. There was something wrong though. The hurt in his eyes seemed to be gone, replaced by fear.
Why would Lan Zhan be afraid? "I'm sorry-" he blurted out without thinking, his mouth feeling incredibly dry. "I... don't know why I said that."
Lan Zhan shook his head, his fingertips ghosting over the sorest part on his forehead. Wei Ying couldn't suppress the pleased shiver from the contact, but didn't mind.
"Don't," Lan Zhan said, continuing the soothing motion against his forehead. "There is nothing to be sorry for."
Though Wei Ying disagreed, he knew there was no point in arguing. They wouldn't come to an agreement, and he didn't want to see hurt tainting those golden orbs again.
Shifting a bit, he grew rigid feeling long fingers sink into his arm. Odd, those fingers were pressing into the arm closest to the window. How could that be? Lan Zhan hated being touched, yet here he was touching him.
Wait... his face was still close to his, and his head was resting against something warm.
Oh. Oh he felt dizzy. Lan Zhan was holding him. So many emotions and thoughts pelted him all at once he felt sick all over again. Squeezing his eyes shut, he unconsciously buried his face into other's neck, groaning as he pushed through another violent bout of nausea. He barely made out the sound of Lan Zhan's breath hitching, from shock or worry, he'd never know. His body was squeezed a bit, that protective arm around him pulling him closer to the other.
Ah, this felt... nice. Relaxing, even. The strong scent of sandalwood - Lan Zhan's scent - helped sooth his anxiety and nausea. For the first time that night, he felt safe. For the first time in years, he felt comforted.
When was the last time he let someone take care of him?
