hay uhm. ur rlly good at drawin birds!! they look so cute + squishy + fluffy + full of personality. drawing birds is smth i struggle a lot with .w. im currently using 360 degree shots of different birds. i struggle a lot with beaks and head shape in particular. how did u get so good at it? would u like to give me some tips pls qwq if it wouldnt be too much trouble. thx for reading and hope u have a lovely day 🌠
Omg hay thank you!! The MAIN thing I say is REFERENCES ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND!!! I don’t use references for a lot of my battle bird stuff ONLY BECAUSE I’ve practiced them a shit ton with references. For instance, during the pandemic I got REALLY into stamp carving… so naturally I made all major and minor tarot cards. As birds.
Tumblr media
So I spent a lot of time studying how birds look and work
Tumblr media
But basically it’s all about shape. I helped one of my friends with their bird character (ily Sneep Snorp), it’s all about the shape of the bird. What you could do is draw OVER the bird, try to break down its shapes
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When it comes to birds, the beak should also never be an afterthought. It should work into the shape of their face, it gives the bird personality. But the head itself is usually a circle. It’s pretty simple. Also um… for wings … well….
My little pony wings is where I started. That’s how I draw my wings. As my little pony wings. Simple, clear. Even this Thunderbird doodle? Those are a modified MLP pegasus wing. They’re just slightly larger.
Tumblr media
Again it all just comes back to practicing with references. Over and over again. Until it looks right to you.

Hey!
I'm in love with your blog! QWQ
I was wondering if I could request a fic about Levi, where his s/o doesn't get back from a simple supply mission but everyone else did, and Levi has a break down at front of his cadets or the veterans or both (whatever you prefer) because he thinks it was his fault or this is his life where he gonna lost everyone but after few days his s/o get back to the headquarters with cuts and bruises after those hard days outside of the wall and Levi can't believe it is real and not some daydream about his love. Long story short I need an angst fic with happy ending! QwQ
Thank you so much, feel free to ignore this if you don't like it or if you don't want to. You're amazing and I hope you have an amazing day!

________________________________
“i won’t let you do this.” a stern voice sounded off in the night air as you mounted your horse. you sighed, looking at the stars that peaked out behind the tree tops above you. not bothering to turn around, you knew who that voice belonged to, you were intimately familiar with it.
“it’s not your decision to make, i have to do this with or without your blessing. this is bigger than both of us.” you said, grimacing at your own words. you wished you could choose to be selfish, and stay behind with levi. part of you thought that all of humanity could be shot straight to hell for all you cared, as long as you and levi could be here together in the sanctity of the wooded fortress, but you couldn’t afford to think that way. you had a job to do.
levi made his way around your horse yanking you down in the process, thankfully he caught you on the way down. levi’s strong arms pinned your form to his chest, so tightly that you felt as if your lungs could collapse under the pressure.
“fuck whoever’s decision it is, it’s my decision that i can’t let you go.”
your heart melted at the sight of Levi being so worried over you. his hand held a firm grip on the small of your back, while the other held the base of your head. his strong hold made your body turn to putty in his embrace.
your voice came almost as a whisper, “it’s a stealth mission levi, you heard the commanders orders.” your tone faltered when his gaze intensified. you reached a hand up to cup his face in an attempt to ease him, “it’s for the good of humanity.”
he nodded your hand away, “i don’t give a fuck about humanity. you are what matters to me, and i need you to stay alive. this mission only puts your life in jeopardy.”
you ignored his protest and cupped his face anyways as a frown formed on your face.
levi wasn’t really mad.. you knew that. he was scared, and so were you but you knew that if you followed the commanders instructions correctly, you should be back to the fortress by dawn, back in levi’s arms once more.
“you know i love you right?” levi’s face finally softened at your words, a smile formed on your face at the sight. “the sooner i can do this, the sooner i’ll be back here with you. it’s a simple in and out mission, i just have to sneak into the MP’s base, snag the supplies, and get out of there. simple as that.”
levi rolled his eyes at your oversimplification.
“yeah, and you could get caught and killed in the process.” you leaned in closer, your lips were just a hair’s length distance away from levi’s, “you trust me don’t you? am i not capable, captain?”
his jaw clenched, “goddamn it, you're not going to let me win this one are you?”
you winked at your boyfriend playfully, “i’ll be back before you know it.”
levi’s grip tightened on your neck, as he closed the distance between your lips. the kiss was much more passionate than usual, your tongues danced around each other frantically in an attempt to quell the fear that was rising in both of your stomachs. levi’s hands caressed your figure desperately, trying to memorize every plain and curve that made up your body. he knew that he had to let you go, there was no stopping you when your mind was made up, but he couldn’t shake the bad feeling his intuition was giving him about this mission. if the MP’s didn’t catch you, there would still be a chance that you could run into any number of titans while you were traveling.
levi finally broke the kiss, looking upon your face with that same stoic expression that you have grown to love, “don’t get caught, and don’t you dare get killed by a fucking titan either.”
you chuckled at his words as your bodies finally separated. levi was never great with words but you knew what he was trying to say, “yeah, i love you too.” you climbed back on top of your horse. levi reached up to place a hand on your thigh,
“remember-“ you covered his hand with your own giving a tender squeeze, “don’t die, yes i remember.”
______
you were grateful for the cover that the night gave you, no titans would be active at this hour.
this will be a simple in and out mission just like the commander said. you thought.
you were feeling very optimistic, you were able to sneak into the MP’s base with no issue but now it was a matter of finding the supplies. all you knew to look for was a wooden crate with ‘fragile’ stamped on the front, that is all the commander would divulge about the supplies you were seeking out.
you snuck into the facility’s basement and made your way through the maze-like corridors, not finding anything that fit the commander's description. you knew that dawn would come soon, which meant that the possibility of getting caught, or eaten by a titan on your way back grew greater.
time wandered on as you diligently searched through the labyrinth that was the cold, dark basement. you inspected every dusty room with no luck. adrenaline and anxiety pumped through your veins, you knew that you had spent too much time in the basement. a key part of the mission was to be back to the castle by dawn.
you had almost given up your search when an object in the corner caught your eye. you hastily brushed the dust off the large box, revealing the words ‘fragile’ printed on.
this better be the right box, cause i gotta get the fuck out of here.
_______
levi knew he wouldn’t sleep until you made it back safely. he tried to occupy his mind with the mountain of paperwork that desperately needed tending to on his desk, but he found himself watching the clock, counting the minutes until you were back to the castle.
dawn was approaching. many members of the scout regiment were already getting an early start to their day, some getting ready for training, while others tended to the horses. levi decided that he was much too anxious to stay confined in his quarters. the captain marched out to the front of the castle and busied himself with cleaning his already spotless ODM gear just so he could keep an eye out for your approach.
______
shit, the suns coming up. you thought as you finally tied the supply box to the side of your horse’s saddle bag. titan’s would be active soon. you made sure to stay hyper vigilant once you lead your horse galloping through the forest.
your anxiety rose along with the sun that was beginning to peak over the treetops. you still had a good way to go before you could reach the castle, you knew that some sort of interaction with a titan was inevitable at this point. you tried to ease your fearful mind, your thoughts were racing. you knew that you would have an advantage over a titan in this environment if you initiated your ODM gear, but you had to make sure the supplies made it back to the castle safely. your gear was virtually useless in this situation.
time passed slowly and the distance ahead seemed never ending. the sun continued its ascension, now beaming directly upon you.
the sound of your horse’s feet pounding the terrain below filled your ears. your ears perked when you picked up on the loud thunderous steps in the distance. steps that could only belong to a titan. judging by the sounds that continued to grow louder, you knew that you had mere seconds before it would be on top of you.
_______
levi paced in front of the castle, “she should have been back by now. the sun is almost at its midday mark, what if she was intercepted by a titan on the way back?”
“oh! i’m sure she’s fine! hopefully she killed one so i can run some tests on it!” hange said enthusiastically.
“please shut the fuck up hange.”
_______
well i really am shit out of luck. you thought as a 17 meter titans gained on you. you really didn’t know how you were going to get out of this one, the mission comes first and you couldn’t leave the supplies or your horse behind. you couldn’t live with yourself if you did.
you unsheathed your swords, gripping the sides of the horse tight with your thighs praying to the gods that you don’t fall off.
the titan gained on you on your right side, attempting to pull you from your horse. you noticed that this particular titan had long, sharp nails. you knew that you definitely didn’t want to get sliced by those things.
you aggressively swung and jabbed at the titan with both swords, but you didn’t make contact.
shit shit shit.
the beastly looking creature swung wide with its giant hand, cutting you deep across your back.
you shrieked out in burning pain. the cuts were so deep your clothing was ripped and already soaked in blood.
you knew you couldn’t falter, not now. you took the opening and sliced through the thick flesh of the titans fore arm, completely removing the limb causing it to fall back.
your vision became dark and splotchy, you knew you were close to losing consciousness from the loss of blood. you roused up every ounce of willpower to guide your horse on.
just a little bit farther..i’m almost there levi. you thought as your vision went black.
_______
levi was trying his best to conceal his emotions, he felt like a ball of nerves right now, you were supposed to be back hours ago. levi still stood in front of the castle, now joined by his squad. he was about to order a search party for you, he was so anxious.
“uh.. captain..” uruo pointed into the distance at your lifeless body being carried by your horse.
without a second thought levi sprinted in your direction, a woeful expression painted his face as he saw your body lurched over your horse's back, covered in blood.
levi tried to pull you off the horse as quickly and as gently as possible, being very aware of your wounded back. levi felt even more alarmed when you didn’t yell out in pain, he cradled your unanimated form on the ground while all the bystanders were stunned at the scene playing out in front of them.
the trees swayed in the wind while levi looked down on your pale face, “no! no!” levi’s body shook as he pulled you to his chest, propping your head up in his hands, “wake up! don’t you dare die on me!” his chest heaved up and down as tears streamed down his face. levi turned to look at his squad, “what the fuck are you doing? go get a fucking medic!”
half of the crowd turned, running into the castle to retrieve help. levi removed his hand from the small of your back, analyzing all of the blood that covered his hand. ice ran through his veins when the smell of iron entered his nose.
levi continued to shake your body. his tears dripped down on to your face as he cried, “i’m sorry i didn’t say it back! fuck, i love you too damn it! please wake up! you can’t die on me over this fucking mission!”
the medics finally arrived, levi reluctantly let them take you out of his arms. the captain tried to regain his composure, having never shown this much emotion in front of anyone. ever. much less shedding full blown tears in front of half of the scout regiment.
levi followed the medics that carried your unconscious body into the castle, “is she okay? will she make it?”
“she’s lost a lot of blood but she hasn’t left us yet.”
levi felt hope bloom in his chest at the medics words.
_______
you were stirred from your peace at the sound of china-ware clinging together. you didn’t even have to open your eyes to know exactly where that sound was coming from, you knew it was levi stirring what was probably his third cup of tea.
as soon as you opened your eyes you felt pain. you groaned at the stinging feeling that came from your back muscles. levi jumped at the sound of your voice, moving closer to your side from where he was sitting.
levi observed your features with a careful expression as he craned his neck over your still pale face.
you felt emotion well up from deep inside of you at the sight of the sable haired man, “levi.” you groaned.
you were taken back by how horse your voice sounded.
levi tried to conceal the overwhelming emotions he felt from hearing your sweet voice, “shh. it’s okay, i’m here. i’m here.” you drew in a short breath when you saw tears begin to prick your lovers eyes. you reached up to cup levi’s face, to your surprise levi actually leaned into your touch.
“it’s okay levi, i’m okay.”
“yes but you almost weren’t.” he said in a gruff tone.
he had you there, though you were grateful to have made it out of your titan debacle in one piece, you knew it was a close call with all of the blood you lost.
“well, was the commander pleased that he got his super secret supplies?” you asked playfully in an attempt to lighten the mood.
levi’s usual unamused expression returned to his face, “fuck those supplies.” he deadpanned as he pulled you into a fierce kiss. levi's tongue broke past your lips and immediately intertwined with your own. levi felt desperate, he deeply missed the feeling of your lips on his.
warmth washed over your whole body when levi pulled away, cupping your face with both hands.
you were at a loss of words, you had never seen levi actively show so much emotion in such a short span of time.
“i don’t want to lose you, so please keep that in mind the next time you accept a task from the commander.”
you laughed at levi’s words, “i love you.”
“i love you too. so much, so fucking much.”
levi’s held the back of your head, raking his hands through your hair as he initiated a long and languid kiss on your lips.
you wrapped your arms around levi’s neck, feeling perfectly safe in his arms.

WAIT MIMI YOU SAW THE TRAILER WHAT DID YOU THINK!!!!
HI HI HI SORRY I WAS WORKING ON A PRESENTATION LOL
I have MANY MANY thoughts and I am literally just gonna copy and paste for the most part from what I've said to other people BUT buckle up it's long dshgkjnfdh.
Oh also! Keep in mind i have not looked at any other takes yet so this is all like. authentic Mimi opinion moments ^^.
-Charlie Day Luigi is like. Okay we literally only heard 2 lines and they were screaming which is. Luigi alright (WHICH BTW MAKES ME A LITTLE SCARED ABOUT CHARACTERIZATION LOL). I think he'll handle Luigi fine his voice fits and sparks a little bit of joy. I completely expected this. As much as I hate the casting I have been saying Charlie Day Luigi would be good for months thank you I love being correct literally all the time i have never been wrong about anything in my life <3 (hopefully. we don't have much to go off of). Gives me John Leguizamo Luigi vibes which is surprisingly given the context of THAT movie one of my FAVORITE Luigi portrayals dshgjkfdh.
-The animation is BEAUTIFUL. The lighting effects? OUGH. BOWSER? Do not get me STARTED on the Bowser model. Even Kamek looks great!! I like that they made Bowser's tail a little longer too qwq it makes him more intimidating and there's a part where he's wagging it to be scary dshjkdshg. He's definitely giving goofy but could probably kick your ass vibes??? Which he should. And he is SO expressive!! Like OUGH the way his eyes STRETCH in this shot!!! That's good animation baby!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-However I do NOT like Mario and Luigi's models that much??? They look a little??? Off model. We didn't get TOO much of a good look at Luigi's but Mario's is just. Something is off about it. HATE the way his hair moves btw it reminds me of O'Hare. Anyways look at him look at him look at him there he is it's the boy!
Tumblr media
-On that note Mario's model has grown on me a bit (I am watching the trailer for the 3rd time now dsjglnfmdh) I REALLY like the collar on his shirt and his overalls are cute. He just seems a little too...vertical??? And I wish he was fatter all around. He's lacking a lot of that roundness that makes Mario...Mario. Like at LEAST give him chubby cheeks. come on. But on a positive note! I am in LOVE with his eyebrows qwq They're so big and bushy!! They're gonna be GREAT for expressions I can already feel it qwq.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Jack Black Bowser is great as expected. He seems to be having SO much fun with it and I adore it.
-....Oh god it's time isn't it.. I was uuuh.. I was admittedly putting this off. ... Crisp Rat. I think this screenshot kind of says all I need to honestly??? (Also looking back I mean more like Super Show not the 1993 movie)
Tumblr media
ANYWAYS UUUH. BINGO CARD TIME BABY! SNEAKING IT IN HERE!
I have marked it up with 3 different colors! Red means it has been confirmed with the trailer! Yellow means based off of leaks or assumptions and the trailer, it has pretty much been confirmed! Green means it's just an assumption but the trailer... kind of hints at it??? Anyways
Tumblr media
I guess um... TL;DR I REALLY like the animation. The animation is really pretty qwq. They said Mario fans are working on the movie and if I am to trust that....I think it'll be good. Very scared about Luigi characterization though. It looks like they're setting the bros up t be separated a good chunk of the movie??? Which is an interesting take! I just hope the Luigi isn't neglected and is like... actually important? Anyways give us a Super Paper Mario reference thanks bye dshgjnfg
(I hope this makes sense I am.. very tired and have so many thoughts but also want to keep this short and if I go back and edit it again I'm gonna add like 100 more words)

HameFura Manga V6 Bonus SS (translated)
Tumblr media
It says “Magical Girl Flag Breakers” and “Our Enemies: The Ruin Four”
Volume 6 Bonus SS - “Magical★Girl Flag Breakers”
Hello! So I snagged a raw copy of Manga Volume 6 on the internet because I was really excited for the bonus story ever since I got raws of Volume 5. For those who don’t know, typically a copy of the manga comes with an extra chapter with Katarina having a dream about different scenarios (V1 was Fortune Lover, V2 is a Highschool AU, V3 is a Fantasy RPG AU, V4 is a Genderbend AU and V5 is a Kindergarten AU), and alongside the chapter of the volume is a image preview of the next story in the next volume.
I couldn't wait to read this one-shot so with the power of google translate, I’ve decided to translate it myself! Please read this one, it’s a very fun one-shot, so much so that I want more of this story XDD (also because it took me half a day to translate this from pictures qwq)
Please do remember to read this one-shot once an official English Release of Manga Volume 6 comes out, and please forgive me for any mistake I made while translating this story to English.
--------
It was a sunny morning that day. I, Katarina Claes, an ordinary high school student, overslept that day and was late for school. While I was dashing to school with a fresh cucumber in my mouth from our fridge instead of my breakfast, was suddenly struck with something hard on the head. I was surprised! I rubbed my head and looked around, but I saw nothing.
I was about to start running again because I assumed that I just imagined, until I heard a voice. "Ouch, I'm sorry I bumped into you", the voice said as I looked up to follow it. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH~~~~" I screamed instinctively as I looked at what looks like a small little doll.
There was a small boy with wings. The boy covered his ears and frowned at my loud outcry. "Oh, I'm sorry" I apologized, also instinctively, but this is turning out to be a really weird situation. What even is this small little boy? It's a really well-made toy or something like that. "I'm not a toy", eh did I say that out loud?
I was surprised to hear a reply, so I asked "Are you a dwarf then?"
"No, I'm a spirit" he said with a matter-of-fact tone. 'Oh, so he's a spirit~' is what I would have said........
"Wait, what do you mean a spirit?" I wasn't convinced at all. What do you mean it's a spirit? The little spirit boy begins to explain to me, who was still surprised and flustered, while pointing with his tiny finger.
Well, it turned out to be quite the serious discussion. While a story about an evil organization, the most worrisome part to me was, "So, if the 'planet' dies, what will happen?" I could predict what his answer would be, but it still scared me to hear what the answer was. "If the planet dies, all living creatures here will die" The little spirit replied with an expected answer. When he said that all living creatures will die, does that mean everyone?!
"We will fight and defeat the evil organization with the power we receive from the planet," the spirit declared so bravely. He may look cute like a doll, but he was very cool. I instinctively made a guts pose, "In behalf of everyone, I thank you. Good luck on your fight". "Thank you, but the one who will be fighting is not me--. The spirit boy was interrupted by a loud explosion nearby, where I heard a loud scream saying "Ah! It's a monster!".
When I ran over there to check it out, for some reason, there was something big rampaging in a park just further away. Wait, what? There was a giant bear that appeared out of nowhere?! Around these parts, there could be monkeys showing up, but not bears.
Next to me, the spirit boy was visibly upset. "Oh no, They've already started to appear. I haven't even formed a contract with anyone yet" the spirit boy whispered. What does he mean by a contract? No, its not the time for such questions when something serious is happening in front of us.
"Um, Spirit boy, lets run away, the situation over there looks dangerous". I called out to him, but the spirit boy didn't answer with his eyes growing bigger. "And you, can you help me with my work?" He said as if there wasn't anything happening in front of us. What does he mean help with his work? What is he saying in such a dangerous time like this.
"The Evil Organization".
"?!"
"What happening right now, it's involving the things I've told you about. I need your help, please". "Wait, even if you say it so suddenly like this...." I'm already really late for school, and at this point getting in would be really difficult. I'm in deep trouble. "Please, I can only ask you." I was being stared with such a desperate face and moist eyes, making it really hard to refuse. Aside from that, the noise in the park is getting louder, and I feel like it's really dangerous to stay here.
For now, its best to run away for the time being and listen to him when we get to somewhere safer. I thought and said, "I understand. I'll help you, so lets run away from here first." My words did not even finish until the end. Before I finished, the spirit boy grinned and said, "Okay, then lets form the contract."
The moment I saw his grinning smile, I knew something was weird, but before I could say anything, the spirit boy pulled something that looked like a stick with a flag and asked, "What is your name?" "Katarina Claes". For some reason, my mouth started to move on my own and said my name. Eh, what's going on?
"Then, Katarina Claes, I will appoint you as a magical girl who will help protect this planet". When I shook the flag that the spirit boy had, my body was wrapped in light, and my school uniform changed into a cute and frilly costume.
"What's this?!" "It's a magical girl costume. Now you have the power to do more than what a hundred normal persons can do".
"Wearing this frilly outfit can make me do that?!" "Yes, that costume has that kind of power. With this, you can defeat the enemy as a magical girl". "Wait, what's a magical girl? and by enemy you mean--" "Ah, it's already here"
As soon as the spirit boy interrupted my words with his own, a giant pink bear doll came out from the entrance of the park.
"What's that?" "That's our enemy. Now, let's defeat it with the power of a magical girl." "Even if you tell me to defeat it--?!"
What should I do? The bear started to launch itself towards us while I was trying to figure out what to do. While it is a stuffed toy bear, it was very big so it's power was quite impressive.
It’ll be bad if I get hit, so I jumped really high unexpectedly in order to avoid it. Wow, the bear looked really surprised by my movements, which are a hundred times faster and stronger than a normal person, and it made the bear look like fool as he gave his all into that attack. What a terrifying bear. That bear tried to attack with a punch again. The bear is very quick for its size. Thanks to this outfit, I can easily avoid his punches, but this can’t keep going on like this.
“Hey spirit, how I can I defeat this bear?”. While trying to avoid the bear’s attacks, I asked the spirit who was watching me jump above. “Oh, that’s right. Point the bracelet at the bear and say ‘Flag Break’. If you do that, you can defeat it”. He seems to have forgotten to tell me this earlier.
I wondered if that was enough, but I did as I was told, pointing my bracelet at the bear and shouted “Flag Break”, and a ray of light appeared from the bracelet. When the light hits and wraps the bear in its entirety, it disappeared after the light.
I coughed while staring at the spot where the bear disappeared, and the spirit who was now next to me said, “Thank you, Katarina. Thank you for your continued support. My name is Raphael”, he said as I held his outreached hand.
This how I, Katarina Claes, became a magical girl who fights against evil organizations.
And, through this event, I learned that I should not accept unclear requests so easily. I became a magical girl by being convinced in a shocked state by Raphael, and in the months since I became a magical girl, my number of friends seemed to have increased. After several months, I realized that there are more magical girls in my school, such as Maria who was part of the student council and the school’s cooking club, Mary from the gardening club, and Sophia from the literature club. Strangely, all of them are smart and beautiful students. Not only that, they were all scouted by a female spirit named Anne as magical girls. I was only scouted in the heat of the moment, but everyone else are so good at their job, and eventually we all began to get along as friends. Until then, I usually go to school late because I always get lost, but now we all go to school together every day.
“Yes, I tried to turn the flowers in the gardening club as a bookmark, Katarina. If you’d like, please use it”. “Wow. it’s so cute, thank you. Mary has good taste” “Katarina, I’ve brought a book I want to recommend” “You did? I’m looking forward to it. Thank you, Sophia” “Katarina, I brought some sweets I made in the cooking club, please eat some if you’d like” “Oh! Thank you Maria. I love your sweets so much because they are just so delicious”
Just like that, we continue to have fun chatting to each other, when suddenly there was a figure ahead of us. “Hello, Katarina and co.”
A beautiful young man with blonde hair and blue eyes appeared before me. “Wow, you’re here again Geordo” I frowned, but Geordo returned it with a smile. “Today, I will defeat you and make you mine”, that’s when he suddenly changed into a black cloak with a mask; the uniform of the evil organization.
Yes, this handsome young man is named Geordo, he might look like a prince, but he is actually one of the Four Kings of Ruin, part of the enemy organization that we, magical girls, need to defeat. I met Geordo after I had become a magical girl, during my third battle. It was Geordo who summoned enemies like the giant stuffed toy bear and released it onto the city. Since then, I had fought him multiple times as enemies, where he continuously says things like “You’ve piqued my interest. Would you become mine?” whenever he approaches me. Is this a new form of attack? When I reply to him with an attack, he would reply with “One day, I will beat you and make you mine”.
I don’t know if this is a new kind of attack, but Geordo would typically show up every three days, and now that its the third day, it probably means I need to transform into a magical girl again.
“I hate you” “Yeah, please stop disturbing our good time” “Please pack it up”
Mary, Sophia and Maria all said, as they transformed into magical girls too. “You girls are interrupting the moment between me and Katarina. You girls are in my way” Geordo said, as he raised his hand to the sky. Then, a black circle appeared, with people falling out from it.
“Ouch! Geordo, do you know how many time you’ve been calling out to us recently? I was gonna take a nap”, that was Geordo’s twin brother who scratched his head, the snobby Alan who is also part of the Four Kings. “That’s right, I was on a date with a girl” said Keith, the playboy from the Four Kings of Ruin, who frowned and brushed his bangs. The last one was expressionless, but was looking at the pasta who had fallen onto the ground with a sad face. He is Nicol, the final member of the four who has a magical and mysterious charm to him.
“Everyone, don’t be so lazy. Let’s work together and defeat the magical girls once and for all” Geordo said to them, and they all turned to me in a daze. There’s something he didn’t know about his allies when he called them out.
“Yo, it’s been a long time, Katarina. You’re still playing magical girl?” Alan said. Perhaps he was embarrassed that he had just declared that he would take a nap, because his face was flushed red. I met him during one of my battles.
“Katarina Claes, you’re always so free. It’s so lonely to think that you don’t have anyone to date yet,” Keith said. Perhaps he was shy or was embarrassed by the girl he was just on a date with, because his face was also quite red. I also met him during one of my battles so I’m acquainted with him.
Maybe he was called from a place where he was eating his pasta, and now it had fallen to the ground and splattered, because Nicol had a very sad expression. ”................” “Would you like some of these sweets so compensate for your food?” I offered to him. He gave me such a happy and devilish smile, saying “thank you” as he reached out for one of the sweets. I staggered a bit at the sight. I also met Nicol during one of my battles.
“What are you guys talking about so happily with my Katarina? I called you guys here to deal with the other three magical girls who are trying to get in between us” Geordo said. “What are you taking about? You’re the ones who are in the way of our good time,” Mary lifted her eyebrows and snapped at Geordo, who simply replied to her accusation with a dark smile. “That’s my line. You high school girls who just talk about crap without any meaning”.
“That’s rude, it’s not meaningless” Sophia said angrily. Well this is the kind of thing that Geordo definitely won’t understand. He doesn’t seem to have a prejudice against high school girls... wait a minute, shouldn’t we be fighting? Geordo, Mary and Sophia are quarrelling, Alan and Keith are summoned but have flushed cheeks and are looking away, Maria is sharing handmade sweets to Nicol who lost his pasta.
Recently, every time we confront the Four Kings of Ruin, we more frequently fight like this, without throwing any hands. I even started to wonder if I was still a magical girl, so I tried to look around for our two spirits, before I was interrupted by Maria who offered sweets to me. It was so good that I lost all my will for battle.
“Lady Katarina, Lady Katarina, please get up. It’s time for you to go to school”
What happened to the battle? “Battle? Katarina, you’re sleeping. We need to get you ready for school”, Anne said, bringing out my clothes. “Oh I had  a very strange dream. I was transformed into a magical girl. Not only that, the enemies were Geordo and the others. What a strange dream”.
“What’s a magical girl?” Anne gave me a suspicious look while the adjusting my clock. “Ah, um, a magical girl fights against an evil organization--”
“Katarina, I’m grateful for your explanations but we don’t time for that right now, so I’ll ask about it later after we finish your preparations”. Ann told me, and when I looked at the clock, I knew that it was almost time for class and that I was about to be late. I hurriedly cooperated with Anne and started preparing myself for school. My usual day begins as from that point.

That’s it! It’s a very cute one-shot, and I hope after I post this, maybe it inspires people to write stories based on this au qwq. Volume 7′s oneshot is “Detective?! Katarina’s Office” (Tantei?! Katarina Jimusho) so if thats interesting then i’ll translate that too.
Some unnecessary notes from me if you’re interested in reading:
Since Katarina is the hero and Miri is the leader of the evil organization, I guess if this really was a story then the plot twist is that Katarina is her daughter. I can imagine maybe this story takes place in her old world with her old family (mom, dad, grandma, two brothers) but the difference here is that Katarina is adopted or something like that.
It’s interesting that Raphael is Katarina’s fairy partner instead of Ann. It works since both Kat and Raph use Dark Magic in canon lol haha also because it shows how competent Ann is haha
It’s also cool to see the playboy version of Keith liking Katarina.
Sophia and Nicol don’t seem to be related at all in this version of the story, which I’m cool with. They could also have a Hawkmoth-Chat Noir situation where they aren’t aware of each other’s secret identities (though I doubt it myself since they all transformed in front of the boys, but hey i’m just throwing it out there).
Omg rip Nicol’s pasta. Press f to pay respects

I’ve just read the head cannons of Chuuya and Dazai’s bebes and I love it 🥰 can you write how they’ll react when someone kidnapped their babies and how they would get them back? QwQ
A/N : I've been gone for so long and I'm so sorry. This request and many others have laid dormant in my ask box for many many months and I'm so sorry. I went through big depression kick, and I didn't write for a while. I ended up getting laid off from my job because of the rona, and everything just felt uncertain for a while and I honestly didn't really know what to do. I slowly got back into writing, starting off with my fanfiction just to get back into the swing of it, and now I'm ready to make y'all proud and finish all the requests! I'm sorry for making you all wait so long, and I want this request and all other requests that I answer to be amazing for all of you. So, here we go! -Hopefully (still) Your Favorite Dingus

Osamu Dazai
Tumblr media
Kazue was the literal light of his life, aside from you... obviously. You and his son were the center of his entire universe, he would do anything for you and his son. He made that quite known, considering how spoiled your son was already. At three years old, Dazai had already managed to buy your son everything he did, and sometimes didn't need.
Your son was a lot like his dad in the way that he liked to run off often, having you worried sick in the middle of the grocery store of mall. Dazai would often find him at the gumball machines or the tiny change eating rides in the middle of the mall. Your son hated to be confined in his stroller, and Dazai agreed that strollers were awful contraptions and that your son should be allowed to walk around.
His views quickly changed when you were out shopping for groceries one afternoon. Dazai was at work, and trying to keep your son in the shopping cart proved to be impossible, so you had agreed to let him out of the cart as long as he stayed close to you and hold your hand. You promised to get him candy if he followed those two simple rules, but thanks to Dazais relaxed parenting, your son just assumed he'd get candy no matter what. (Thanks Dazai)
You had only let go of his hand for a second, kneeling down to grab something from the bottom shelf. The last thing you heard was the small cry of "Momma!" and when you shot up and turned around he was gone. Your heart sank as you dropped the item in your hand and ran to the front of the store, asking the employees if they had seen your son, showing them the pictures in your wallet, and all of them shook their head, only able to offer their sympathies to you.
Calling your husband was the hardest part, trying to keep your voice and your hands steady as you held your phone up to your ear. The employees had already called the police for you, and they were scouring the entire store trying to look for any clue as to where your son could be.
When you had managed to tell Dazai what happened, he was on his way to the store, he didn't waste any time at all. He was furious, and at first he took his anger out on you. "I thought you were watching him!" "How could you let this happen?!" "Why would you let him go!?" He was angry and he wasn't thinking straight, but as soon as he saw how his words affected you, he quickly pulled you into a hug, peppering the top of your head with kisses. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, darling. It's not your fault."
An officer brought over Kazue's stuffed kitty cat which was a gift from Fukuzawa. He had gotten it on his first birthday and refused to part with it, he brought it with him everywhere. The sight of the kitty cat not being held by Kazue made you throw up immediately, your mind jumping to the worst possible scenario. You heard Dazai grit his teeth, his arm was wrapped around you tightly, and his grip on your shirt tightened.
The two of you race to the Agency, every other case that they had been working on is dropped instantly. Desks are cleared and pushed together to draw out a map of the entirety of Yokohama. You're sitting on one of the couches in the office, Kazue's kitten clutched against your chest, your tears soaking the top of the plushy. The light in Dazais eyes has disappeared completely, he's stern, on edge. His voice is hard but you can hear it break occasionally at the end of his sentences, especially when he says his sons name.
Ranpo and Atsushi are the main people Dazai communicates with, his voice is mixed with the constant slamming of his fists on the desk when his emotions take over completely. "Where the hell is my son!?" He shouts as he drops his head into his hands. That's the only time he'll cry, his body shaking violently. You walk over and wrap your arms around him from behind, your chin resting on his shoulder as you both sob.
Everyone had been sitting around the office quietly watching you and Dazai have your moment. They all felt hopeless, especially when Dazai had initially went to Ranpo and he didn't seem to have a clue as to where Kazue was or who had taken him. "Why... Why would anyone take him? What's the reason? I want to know a reason!" Dazai shouted, his fists once again coming down on the desk. You pulled away quickly, giving him his space to lash out. He threw everything off the desk, his head dropping into his arms that were folded against the desk and letting out a scream.
His strength was being tested, he was breaking. It killed you to see him like this, you knew that there was nothing you could do to calm him. There was nothing worse that could ever happen to him, his son was everything to him. Kazue was the reason he had stopped attempting suicide, Kazue gave him a reason to stay alive, Kazue was his life line. Dazai loved his son with every fiber of his being, and right now he not only lost his son, he lost his reason for living. If anything were to happen to your son, if the worst case scenario was the actual case, you were sure that you would lose your husband as well.
All hope had seemed lost, the sun was quickly setting over the city. Everyone was emotionally exhausted. You were curled up on the couch, your head resting on Dazai's lap, his fingers massaging your scalp. "Please, get some rest darling. You need it." He whispered to you when he saw you slowly drift to sleep only to have your eyes open quickly. You felt bad for falling asleep, knowing that your son was out there somewhere without you or his father.
You handed Dazai the stuffed kitten before rolling over and trying to get comfortable. "Here, if anything comes up.. he's gonna need his Fuwa." You said sleepily, and you heard Dazai's chuckle, it sounded like he was being choked. He sniffled as he grabbed the kitten and brought it up to his face, silently crying into it.
Ranpo stood up from his chair and made his way over to the desk, pulling the map up off the floor and laying it flat on the desk. His eyes were wide open, the soft emerald green had long since turned as hard as the gem itself. Dazai shifted you off his lap and made his way over to Ranpo, stuffing Fuwa into his coat pocket. Atsushi followed him over and they both peered over Ranpo's shoulder, looking down at the map, following where Ranpo pointed with his fingers.
"The warehouse... next to the Port. Whoever it was quick enough to be gone before Y/N could notice, but he was still able to drop his cat. That means the person was on foot, so this person would have to be somewhere close to the store so a scene wouldn't be made, but somewhere they could hide him. They're most likely expecting us to show up, they want something in return, this is a ransom kidnapping." Ranpo said and Dazai nodded, trusting him with 100% of his being. He had to be right, but Dazai also knew how some ransom situations worked out. If it took too long...
"We have to go now." Dazai growled, and Ranpo nodded, Atsushi "hmph"ing in agreement. Kunikida stood up from his chair, joining the three of them by the door.
"None of you know how to drive. Let's go." Kunikida had a soft spot for Kazue, he wanted your son home safe as much as everyone else. (Even if he thought his father was a complete dunce.)
Everyone in the office agreed to stay with you just in case you woke up before the four of them got back, and with that they all ran out the door, hopping into Kunikida's car and speeding off towards the warehouse.
When they got there, they snuck up to the doors of the warehouse. Dazai leaned his head against the door, hoping to hear something, anything that would indicate that his son was in there. His heart was beating fast, and as much as he wanted to murder someone for stealing his son in the first place, he wanted to bring Kazue home with him, bring him back to you safe and sound more than anything else.
"Momma... Daddy..." He heard the soft whimpers of his son coming from the inside of the warehouse. It sounded like he was crying and Dazai to control his urge to kick down the door right then and there. He needed to be careful so that no harm would come to his son, but the sounds of his son softly crying had him seeing red. "Pwease..." He heard his son again and his heart shattered, the sound of his son pleading with his captor had him on the verge of an anger induced emotional breakdown.
Kunikida pulled the gun from the back of his pants and silently counted down from three before they pulled the door open. All four of them had guns, refusing to let Atsushi use his ability out of fear of hurting Kazue. There was one man in the corner of the room, a gun pointed at the head of your son as he smirked up at the four men. They all stopped dead in their tracks, dropping their guns to the ground and holding their hands up in the air. "Please, don't hurt him..." Dazai choked out, his eyes locking with his son in the corner.
"Took you all long enough to show up, thought you guys were detectives. He was becoming a pain in my ass, constantly crying, asking for his mommy and daddy and his Fuwa." The man chuckled as he cocked the gun back and pointed it back at your son. "Do you know why I'm doing this? Do you know?!" The guy shouted and Kazue cried out, his arms outstretched for Dazai.
He felt like he was going to collapse, the room was spinning, he had to compose himself though, he had to stay focused. He looked to Kunikida and Atsushi, hoping the plan would work out how they had said.
Kunikida quickly bent down and grabbed his gun off the floor, firing one shot at the arm of the man, making him drop the gun. Kazue let out a shrill scream and Dazai took this moment to run over and scoop him up off the floor, holding him close against his chest. The other three ran over to the man, Atsushi and Kunikida pinned him down on the ground as Ranpo cuffed his arms behind his back.
After the police took the man away they all made their way back to the Agency building, Dazai was in the back of the car holding Kazue on his lap, rocking him back and forth as his son fell asleep in his arms. The man had been one of the criminals they had captured before Kazue was even born. He had held an entire bank and its customers hostage, but had never actually killed someone, so he was let out on good behavior recently. He had been stalking Dazai, and he found out about you and Kazue and decided that he would have his revenge for the Agency ruining his life. None of them ever found out if the man would have actually hurt Kazue, and honestly, they didn't want to know, they were all just happy that he was unharmed.
When they walked through the door and you saw Kazue being cradled in Dazais arms you fell to your knees and cried. Tanizaki and Yosano had to help you stand up, and as soon as you found your footing you ran over to Dazai. "Hi Momma!"
Dazai now sternly enforced the stroller rule, he didn't want to go through anything like that ever again.
Chuuya Nakahara
Tumblr media
Asa was his princess and you were his queen. But his daughter, oof, if anyone even looked at his daughter wrong for crying he would kill someone. Do not test Chuuya when it comes to his child. He would kiss the ground that she crawls on, he loves her so much.
If you didn't know any better, you'd think his office was a shrine dedicated to her and you. There were framed pictures of you and her, and sometimes the three of you hung on his wall, propped up on his desk and coffee table, pretty much any surface that could have pictures, they were covered.
She had just celebrated her first birthday, she was learning how to walk which Chuuya would not shut up about. If there was ever a moment to talk about his daughter he would. The Mafia members had all learned to just deal with it, knowing that if they looked agitated about the constant talk of his daughter they would either be demoted or have their asses kicked.
"Does she really have to start sleeping in her own room? She's got a crib in our room, I don't see the problem." Chuuya whispered to you from the couch as you made your way into the room opposite of yours and his. She had an entire nursery that was practically unused due to protective parenting. He really didn't see a reason in having her in a completely different room when it was so much easier to have her in yours and his room. If she woke up, he could get her immediately and get her back to sleep in the bed between the two of you.
When you came out of the bedroom you sat with him on the couch, his arm habitually wrapping around your shoulder and pulling you closer. He turned down the television so he could hear the monitor clearly. "If she gets too used to sleeping with us in our room, she'll never want to sleep in her own room. She's not that much further. You're spoiling her, honey." He groaned and you stifled your laughter, propping yourself up to press a quick peck to his cheek. "We should try to get some rest while she's sleeping. Come on."
The two of you laid in your bed, he held you close against his chest while you traced hearts against his bare chest with your finger. "I don't know why she has to sleep in her own room now though. She's only a year old. She's still my baby. I feel better having her close." He sighed, adjusting his free hand behind his head as he turned to look over at the video monitor, the corner of his lips twitching up slightly as he watched his daughter sleep peacefully in her crib.
"You're scared of her growing up. She's turned you into a big softy. You know, she's gonna keep growing."
"Don't say that. She's only one." He pulled his arm out from underneath you and ran his hands over his face. He hated thinking of her getting bigger, growing older. The thought of her not being the adorable, babbling baby that waddled over to the door whenever he walked in with open arms was enough to make him almost cry. ALMOST.
"You know... we can have more..." You said almost too seductively as you peppered kisses across his shoulders. It was supposed to be a joke, but he didn't take it as such. He wouldn't mind one or two more little princesses or princes teetering around the house.
The two of you thoroughly tired each other out, the night seemed to be going perfectly. Asa hadn't woken up yet, and this was the first time the two of you had been able to be intimate in that way since she had reached the eight month mark. You fully blamed Chuuya for that though, he had spoiled her so much, but he didn't seem to mind it at the time. Now he seemed to be convinced that having her in a separate room wasn't such a bad thing.
Everything was silent, the only sound was the crickets chirping outside and the occasional sound of a car passing by in the distance. That would shortly come to an end though, the sound of glass breaking and Asa's blood curdling scream coming from both the monitor and the room across the hall had jolted you and Chuuya from your peaceful slumber. You grabbed the monitor off the nightstand and Chuuya ordered you to stay in bed as he ran out of the room and into Asa's room. You knew though, it was too late as you saw the cloaked man who was holding your daughter jump out of the window just as the door flew open and Chuuya came into view on the screen.
"NO! Son of a BITCH!" His screeching voice was just as loud as your daughters cries had been and you dropped the monitor into your lap on the bed as the realization hit you. This wouldn't have happened if you had just listened to Chuuya, if you had let her sleep in your bedroom as she always had. He ran back into the room, flicking the lights on as he went over to the closet and quickly got dressed.
"This... this is my fault... if I would have listened..." You said, not able to face your him at all. He turned to face you, sighing as he tried to calm his nerves. He was already fully dressed, ready to hunt down and murder the asshole who had the nerve to take HIS daughter. He made his way around the bed to the side you were on, grabbing your face in his hands and kissing you softly.
"Don't you even dare blame yourself. I'm gonna get her back. I need you to stay here though, I can't have you getting hurt." You knew what he meant. The way that he felt right now, this would probably turn into an all out war, and if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time you could end up injured. You nodded slowly, kissing him one last time before he ran out of the room and out the front door.
He barely gave the car time to start up before slamming his foot down on the gas pedal, peeling out of the parking spot and speeding down the street. His vision was blurry as the tears started to stream out of his eyes, he was only able to keep his composure long enough to hopefully make you feel better. Now that he was alone he had hurdled the thin line between lashing out and having a complete mental and emotional breakdown.
The only thing keeping him from getting into a severe car accident was knowing that he had to stay alive to save Asa. Although he couldn't see where he was going through his clouded vision, he had dedicated the route to muscle memory, and he could luckily see faint streaks of red and green lights indicating braking cars and traffic lights.
When he got to the headquarters he got some questionable stares from the guards, it was three o'clock in the morning, considerably late, or maybe early, to be coming into work. When they attempted to speak to him he couldn't even mumble out a "fuck off" through his sobs. He raced up the stairs, not having the patience to deal with waiting for the elevator to get him up to the floor he needed to be on.
He stormed into Mori's office, and, not unlike his boss, he found him sitting at his desk, his hands folded under his chin as he stared down at the papers in front of him. "They said you'd be on your way up. What's wrong Chuuya?" Mori asked, motioning to the armchair in front of his desk. Chuuya didn't want to sit though, so he strode over to the desk, slamming the note that had been left in Asa's room down in front of Mori. "What is this?" Mori asked, grabbing the note between his gloved fingers and unfolding it.
"He got my Asa. I'm gonna fucking kill him!" Chuuya screamed, remembering the words that had been carefully scripted out on the thick note paper.
"For the beautiful woman who was murdered by one of your own. I shall avenge her. An eye for an eye. -H"
He knew exactly who "H" was, and he knew exactly who the beautiful woman was that he was speaking of. What he didn't understand was why he would target his family, his daughter to get back at the Mafia for what had happened. Chuuya hadn't even taken part in the situation that had sparked this outcome, so it made absolutely no sense to him.
"Chuuya, you need to stay calm. Asa is loved dearly by everyone here, I will get together everyone needed to find her." Chuuya found his bosses strange sense of composure to be infuriatingly irritating.
"How could I possibly stay calm!?" Chuuya shouted, he wanted to lash out, he wanted to go off on someone, anyone.
"I would feel the same way if it was my darling Elise who had been taken." Mori said, but that was a mistake. Chuuya sighed, exasperated. He was pacing the floor, but when Mori had the audacity to utter those words, he punched the wall that he was closest to, leaving a large hole.
"She's your god damn ability! You wouldn't understand half of what I was feeling because this is my actual fucking DAUGHTER! So don't tell me I need to stay calm!" Chuuya screamed, the tears seemed to flow endlessly, staining his cheeks as they ran down to his chin, hanging on for only a second before splashing down onto the hard wood floors. Mori didn't argue back, he knew that Chuuya was emotionally unstable right now, so he just nodded in agreement.
"So what is it that you need me to do?" He asked, the phone already in his hand as his fingers hovered over the dial.
"Get everyone here..." Chuuya muttered before finally crashing down in the armchair. His sobs had eventually become choked off, and he was left shaking in the chair, his arms wrapped tightly around his chest as he tried to hold himself together.
Everyone had filed into the office, some of them looked agitated, others looked tired and pissed off that they had been woken up, but when they saw Chuuya's current state they knew that something was wrong. His usual smug, cocky smirk seemed to have been erased, the only emotion that was left to be read on his face was pain.
Chuuya didn't need to say much, no one needed a thorough explanation to jump into action. Asa was the one beacon of light that graced the walls of the Mafia headquarters whenever Chuuya brought her in. She had even managed to make Akutagawa crack a small smile when she had burped in Chuuya's face and then spit up on his freshly laundered coat.
Around five o'clock in the morning he got a call from you. He answered it quickly, and it broke his heart to hear how distraught you were. "H-Hi honey... It's almost time for her bottle. She'll need to eat soon, and she'll need to be changed, and and and... god, please tell me you've found her..." You were a mess, and he could only imagine how much harder it was for you to be there in your home, surrounded by all of her things but not her.
"Not yet... but I swear, I'm gonna bring her home to you, okay? Trust me." He needed you to trust him, because right now all hope seemed lost. There was no possible leads as to where the jackass could be keeping her, nobody knew where to find the guy.
"It's... It's so quiet... please bring her home." You whispered out between broken sobs, he heard you try to swallow back the lump that had been building in your throat. He could only nod, giving you a small hum as an answer.
After you had hung up, whispering out a solemn "I love you." Before ending the call he was right back at it. He was dead set on catching this guy today. Not only had he stolen away his daughter, but he had destroyed his wife, his love... This man had crossed a line and he was going to pay for it.
"Oi, Chuuya. Look, at the bottom of the note." Tachihara said, he had the note close up to his face, his eyes squinting as he focused on the tiny scrawling at the bottom of the page. Chuuya ran over and snatched the paper out of his hands, walking over to the large window to try to shine some light onto the paper and see the writing clearer.
"For fucks sake, they're coordinates! They were here the entire time!" Chuuya was seething now, this must have been a sick game to that man. Chuuya grabbed his coat off the back of the chair and headed for the door, but he was stopped by Mori who placed a hand on his chest.
"This might be a trap, how do you know it's not?" Mori said and there was a soft murmur of agreement from the group of people that were standing around.
"Does it matter!? She could be there and that's all that matters!" Chuuya screamed, the tears that threatened to spill were stinging his eyes. The fact that they thought he cared about his own safety as this moment was almost laughable, he would have laughed if his throat didn't feel like it was closing in on itself. "If you're so fucking worried than I'll take Akutagawa..." This is all his fault anyway, isn't it? Akutagawa was the one who had murdered the woman who he was avenging, so he might as well come along.
Chuuya pulled the coordinates up on his phone and it pinpointed a building that seemed on the map to be rundown and abandoned. A princess like Asa didn't belong in a place like that, it made him sick to even imagine his beautiful, precious daughter in such a desolate area. He growled as the directions read that it would take an hour and a half, maybe two hours to get there.
He would make it in half the time though. He could give a shit less about traffic rules, and if the cops even dared to try to stop him on his mission, the wrath of Hell and Chuuya would be brought down upon them. He sped down the streets, winding through traffic like it was nothing. He didn't speak a word to Akutagawa, and Akutagawa knew not to talk to him right now either. Chuuyas mind was a frenzy, a whirlwind of emotions. A mixture of anger, depression, rage, and heartache, and all of those emotions were just simmering.
The devil himself wouldn't be able to stomach what Chuuya planned on doing to the man who took his daughter from him.
He made it there in record time, the drive only took fifty five minutes, an hour tops to get there. The entire drive, Chuuya's eyes would glance in the windshield mirror, looking back at the empty car seat, hoping that it would soon be filled with his perfect little bundle of joy to be brought home.
Chuuya kicked the door in and his eyes immediately zeroed in on the trail of blood droplets on the floor. His heart sank while his stomach rose, he tried to control his dry heaving as horrid images and scenes filled his mind. "Remember his ability, it uses blood." Akutagawa said sternly, trying to keep Chuuya from losing it completely already.
They followed the trail up a case of stairs that seemed like a safety hazard, and Chuuya hated to think that his daughter was in this place at all. It wasn't safe enough for her to be in, she could get hurt at any point. This place needed to be demolished as soon as he got her out of here. He would do it himself if the city didn't want to.
The blood stopped in front of a door, and as soon as Chuuya heard the soft whimpering of his daughter behind the door he kicked it in. She was sitting in a small dingy playpen in the corner of the room, and Akutagawa had to hold Chuuya back to keep him from running straight for her.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!? SHE'S RIGHT THERE!" Chuuya shouted, alerting his daughter to his presence. She pulled herself up on the rails of the playpen, stomping her feet to show him that she was becoming impatient.
"This might be the trap. We need to be careful." Akutagawa hissed, and Chuuya knew he was right. He sighed and peaked into the room, scanning it entirely to make sure it was empty before stepping in. Akutagawa followed close behind, Rashomon creating a shield around himself and Chuuya as they made their way over to Asa.
As soon as Chuuya got close enough he pulled her out of the playpen, holding her tight against his chest. He breathed her in, finding instant comfort in the smell of the all too familiar baby lotion and lavender shampoo that you used for her nightly baths. "I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting, princess. My beautiful baby girl, daddy loves you so much." He cooed to her, but just as things seemed to be going flawlessly, a loud scream escaped her tiny rose petal lips.
A hail of what seemed like bullets were fired across the room, and one of them managed to hit her leg. Chuuya held onto his composure long enough to check her leg, it had just skimmed by, but it was enough to make her bleed and to make her cry. He was trembling, all of his emotions had formed into one cluster fuck of pure, unfiltered rage. He passed Asa over to Akutagawa and ordered him to leave the room through his teeth. Akutagawa didn't bother to argue, instead wrapping Rashomon around himself and Asa completely and running out of the room and down the stairs.
Chuuyas teeth were barred as the man stepped out from the darkest shadow of the room. He didn't have time to speak before Chuuya charged at him, tackling him to the ground and pummeling him with his bare hands, the force of his ability behind each and every punch would leave the man unrecognizable. He was going to kill him, he wanted to kill him, but the vibration of his phone in his pocket made him stop. He pulled his phone out and when he saw it was you it brought him back to reality, the reality that his daughter was waiting for him, and you were still at home waiting for him to bring her home.
He answered it, holding his phone between his ear and shoulder as he wiped the blood of the man off his hands. "Did you find her? Tell me you found her!" Your voice was hoarse, he knew that you hadn't stopped crying. He couldn't keep you waiting any longer, you deserved to hold Asa in your arms as well.
"We'll be home in an hour or two." He said, and it felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off his shoulders when he heard your sigh of relief at his words.
Two Months Later
Chuuya was propped up on the floor, his head resting in his open palm as he bounced Asa's plush horse across the floor, making the horse noises as he did so. The sound of Asa's laughter was music to his ears, and her wide smile was just as beautiful as she flaunted her newly sprouted bottom two teeth. She crawled across the floor towards Chuuya who quickly lifted her up in the air. "Airplane Asa coming in for the landing!" He said playfully as he lowered her down to her his face and pressed a quick kiss to her nose.
His head shot up as he heard the bedroom door open. You had your hands behind your back, and the wide smile that spread across your face when you saw him made his heart flutter. He sat up, his back against the couch now, Asa on his lap attempting to imitate her fathers horse sounds as she bounced the plush horse across her lap. "What's up, baby?" Chuuya asked, wondering what could possibly be behind your back.
You moved your hands to the front, holding the white stick between two fingers and smiling down at him. "Congratulations, daddy."
a/n : I hope you enjoyed my first request after my ridiculously long hiatus. Again, I apologize for being gone so long, but I can't wait to start working on all the requests that are in my inbox. I love you all!

Lost Family in a Mad Town
My ‘Town That Went Mad’ one-shot
By @salamanderdr
tw: death/child death/trauma
Featuring: c!Karl, c!Dream, c!Corpse, and Robin
Authors note: Also I am in no way a writer so sorry for any typos. I’ve never actually written a fanfiction so the only place I can put it is here. I wrote this because I couldn’t get the idea out of my head and I had to get it down. Karl and the others did such a good job on the stream. I literally wrote this in one sitting, I hope ya’ll like it qwq.
/////////////////////////
Karl had been having these dreams for a while now. It didn’t seem like anything special. To him, they were just interesting stories to tell his friends. These stories are what he became known for, and he enjoyed the attention. What made the dreams so special is that most of them involved Karl’s friends getting into unusual shenanigans, which inspired most of the young men’s hangouts. However, one dream, in particular, caused Karl to reconsider if there was more to them.
~Once asleep, Karl finds himself in a rather interesting dream. In the middle of a small village, Karl stands next to the town’s water fountain. The setting is more rustic than he is used to, and his bright multicolored hoody stands out among the bustling villagers. Despite his appearance, the quaint villagers paid him no attention. Concerned, Karl realizes that he can't interact with the townspeople. Unsure of what to do with himself, Karl spots a familiar neon green hood. Karl walks up to the figure and lays his hand on their shoulder, whispering, “Dream... is that you?” The brightly clothed man whips around, shock in his voice, “H-how… who are you?” Karl tilts his head, “It’s me Dream, Karl. Don’t you remember me?” Dream put his head in his hands, “I-I… Karl? Y-yes.. I re”. Suddenly a deep voice pulls both men’s attention away, “Cornelius! You still waiting for us?” Karl looks behind Dream to see a pale man with cat ears and tail, holding the hand of a sweet-looking boy with a hat full of lovely wildflowers. Karl’s heart became warm, something seems familiar about the boy, like if he could be an old friend. Karl speaks again, “Dream, who are they? Did he call you Cornelius? Jeez, what the honk is going on?” Dream quickly turns to Karl, “I’ll explain it later. Just go on, I’ll find you.”  Karl shakes his head “Oh, it’s fine I don't think they can see me.” Dream sighs, “fine, just stay quiet for a bit so I can focus.”
Dream walks over to the two who patiently wait for him “Sorry Corpse, I got sidetracked.” He gently offers his arm to Corpse. Still holding the boy’s hand, Corpse hooks his arm with Dreams. Dream smiles towards the boy, “Y’all didn’t miss me too much, did ya, Robin?” Robin giggles, “If anything, we’re better off without you.” The three laugh as they walk down the path as Karl follows close behind, also laughing to himself.
As the day ends and the night comes, Karl finds himself sitting beside Dream outside his little cottage. Slowly rocking in his chair, Dream speaks, “ I started remembering a little more, not much but enough to kinda understand what’s going on.” He looks at Karl, “I know you later down the line, don’t I?” Karl nods, “Yeah… so this really happened? You had a little family Dream?” he smiles. Dream frowns, “I did, a very long, long, long, long time ago,” he sighs, “this happened like hundreds of years ago, Karl, and you weren’t here. I guess those dreams you have are actually real things that happen.” Karl scratches his head, “I guess I’m learning new things about myself every day, haha. Hey, why don’t you tell me about them… if you want”. Dream looks longingly through the window where Corpse and Robin sleep, “ I found them. I was just planning to mess with the village for a bit, but then I got attached”. Karl's smile grows wider at this, knowing how Dream can be despite his usual dark intentions “and?” Continuing, “I found a boy and his blind friend, and I decided to play house… t-that’s it…” sweat starts to pour from Dream’s forehead “I lo-lost them, and it’s my fault.” Karl's face drops “W-what?”
Suddenly the dream changes and Karl faces a gruesome scene. Dream is on the ground, blood flowing from a deep wound in his chest, being held by Corpse, who is crying. Karl falls towards Dream, shaking him, “Dream! Dream! What’s happening? Who did this?” Dream splutters, unable to speak. Corpse cries for help, “Please someone! R-Robin, go get help!”. Not noticing him till now, Karl watches as Robin flees into the night in search of someone to help his dying adopted father. Corpse turns back to Dream, his voice shaking, “It’s gonna be okay Cornelius, Robin’s getting help.” In Corpse’s arms, Dream lifts his hand to Corpse’s face and wipes the tears from his sightless eyes, “Sorry, Corpse.” Karl watches helplessly as Dream takes his final breath, shocked about how tragic things have become. Karl stumbles to his feet and runs into the forest.
After several minutes, Karl leans against a tree, gasping for air. A voice suddenly speaks up, “Tragic, huh?” Karl jumps at the voice with a welp. He searches the empty trees to see Dream in his bright outfit, and this time, his disturbing clay mask with the eerie smile. Karl catches his breath and stutters, “W-wait, you died?” Dream moves closer, sitting in front of Karl, the morning sun reflecting off the mask, “Oh come on. You really think it's that easy for someone to get rid of me?” Karl shakes his head, “Of c-course not. It’s just, it was so convincing, it scared me. I’ve never seen you like that… What’s happening, what happened to you? What happened to Corpse and Robin?”, concern and millions of questions fill Karl’s head. Dream rolled his hidden eyes, “I guess I’ll be honest with you… it won’t really change anything. Well, you know I’ve been around for a while, and of course, you know I’m hard to kill. Those idiots didn’t know that though.”, he turned his head away “Karl, I bring chaos wherever I go, and I knew whatever that was wasn’t gonna last long, but I ignored it.”  Seeing the Dream he was familiar with sitting in front of him, the one who terrorizes many of his friends in the present, his voice hardens, “Yeah, that’s for sure. So you left them thinking you were dead. That’s cruel. Even for you. They cared about you, Dream.” Dream looks back to Karl, “Well, it was a different time I couldn’t just reveal myself. The ones that ‘killed’ me already saw I would only bring trouble, but they didn’t realize it all started when they decided to take a man’s life. It only fanned the flames of chaos. Hahaha, if I did reveal what I am, I’d be in real trouble. Then I would have hurt Corpse and Robin.”, he looked towards the ground. Karl narrowed his eyes, “You didn’t want them to know you’re actually a monster.” Dream didn’t respond. Then in the distance, a bell rings.
Karl and Dream appear in the middle of the village to see the villagers in utter disarray. Dream speaks, “The Dream you spoke to was able to remember you only a little bit. When I was 'killed' I was able to show up. He should be watching right now. Heh, I guess I showed up so I could finish the story for him”. Karl looks at Dream, “so what is that story?” Dream looked at the crowd of angry townspeople, “Just watch for now.” Karl turns his attention to the mob. The people are angrily fighting about who killed the man known as The Wise Cornelius, paying no attention to the poor blind man and his adopted son, who were the real victims. As Karl watches, he begins to understand Dream’s role in the village. Yes, he was part of the family made up of a blind cat boy and a tragically orphaned child, but he also brought a lot of new knowledge to the villagers. His brilliance also seems to be what made him a target for the murderers’ Dream mentioned. To Karl, at least, the killers just didn’t understand Dream’s ideas and saw it as some sort of sin against God, knowledge, only meant to drag them all to hell.
Karl is snapped out of his thoughts to see two villagers dragging Corpse toward a prison, “W-wait! Dream what’s happening? What’re they doing to Corpse''. Dream didn’t speak. Robin’s cries rose above the crowd as he ran toward Corpse “Please don’t! It can’t be Corpse!! We’re all family, He would never hurt Cornelius!” Grabbing the arm of the villager, Robin is pushed to the ground “shut up kid! It couldn't be anyone else but him”. Corpse calls out to Robin as the other villager pushes him into the cell, “It’ll be okay, bud. It’s ok.” Tears running down his face, Robin grabs the bars of the cell as the villagers lock it, “Corpse, I can’t lose you too! You’re like a father to me!” Corpse places his hands on Robin’s “I-I know b-buddy.” Robin’s cries echoes throughout the village prison grounds, “P-please don’t go! I need you!”. Karl couldn’t help himself and began to cry too. Dream places his hand on Karl’s shoulder “They didn’t like how chummy I was with them, they framed Corpse because they believed I had already corrupted him” his grip became tighter, making Karl wince “they targeted my family Karl and I didn’t do a thing about it!”
The whole village, along with Karl and Dream, watched as the friendly local cat boy dropped into a lava trap, dying instantly. Robin fell to the ground, broken, weeping uncontrollably. No one comforted him. Dream speaks once more, “Robin was an orphan. His mother disappeared when he was very young. His father died in a war. He was so strong, and he was able to make his own family, but he lost that too. A child can only take so much really”, his voice grows cold when he says this. Karl nervously glances at Dream.
It was suddenly night, and Karl stiffened as a blood-curdling scream came from one of the cottages. From the dark, Dream sighs, “Another innocent life lost.” Karl stutters, “H-how long do they keep this up?” Tired, Dream answers, “Till there is no one left. They let their paranoia corrupt them. The feeling they had about me doesn’t leave, so they turn to just taking everyone else to hell with them”. A shiver runs down Karl’s spine. Dream voice is ice  “They kill and kill and kill because they are too stupid to realize they are the evil they fear! Now that they have started this whole mess, they can’t stop”. Nervously, Karl whispers, “You really to cause people to go mad…”. Ignoring the comment, Dream asks, “And do you know who they blame all these deaths on?” Karl’s vision changes and his eyes widen in horror at the person in the prison cell. “A poor, innocent, orphan boy.” Karl looks directly into Robin’s eye, but the boy isn’t looking at him. He is looking at a figure behind Karl. Karl turns to find the ghostly figure of Corpse. The spirit walks through Karl, speaking to Robin and placing his hands on the doomed boy’s head, “Straight to hell buddy.” Just like that, Robin is gone.
Karl jumps awake, his bed soaked with sweat, fear being the only thing he feels. He cries for a long time. After a while, there is a knock at the door, and wiping his face, Karl opens the door. He finds Dream in his doorway, “Well, that was a weird dream, wasn’t it, Karl?” Dream lets himself in. Karl's eyes follow Dream, “W-was that real?”, Dreams sits down on Karl’s bed “Yes, that was real. Now you know one thing that happened in my past... that I caused”.  Concerned, Karl asks, “Jesus Dream, there’s more?!” Dream lets out an unsettling laugh “Hahaha, of course, Karl! You don’t even know a quarter of the chaos I’ve caused, the villages and countries I’ve destroyed by just existing!”. Karl backs up, “so you let that happen? To your family, Dream?”  Dream leaned back on his elbows, “Don’t worry too much about Robin… Did he seem familiar to you Karl?” he nodded, and Dream continued, “That’s because he came back as Tubbo. He got another chance at life. Pffft, not like it’s any better really! Don’t know about Corpse though, bet he’s still in hell”. Shocked, Karl angrily speaks over Dream, “How can you say that? Do you not care about them anymore, Dream?”. Though Dream’s mask was covering his face, Karl can tell Dream is grimacing, “Corpse, Robin died ages ago. I could care less now”. Horrified, Karl truly realized the monster he let into his house and into his life.
Karl didn’t sleep again for a while.

I mean- maybe some smut of a yandere x reader-? Uhhh- hh maybe Yanberry? Orrr Yan!Fell? qwq
You, my friend, have good taste :P
This nearly destroyed me as I was working on it, so yeah >////> also wasn’t sure which pronouns to use for the reader, so I tried to stay neutral with the pet names that were used and such. I think I did a pretty good job of that, right up until the very last couple paragraphs or so, where I used one or two pronouns suggesting the reader is female or at the very least, capable of getting pregnant
anyways though, here it be :P
He wasn’t ok with this. Not with your current situation, not with having to leave your side for work, not having to leave you home alone. Not with his brother, of all people. He knew Papyrus could be a flirt at times and had a certain charm to him, but if he thought he could just swoop in and steal you - his human - from him, well… He’d have another thing coming to him, then.
Sans glanced up at the living room clock, taking a mental note of the time as he slipped on his gloves. Noticing the movement from beside you, you looked up from the tv, your attention fully on him as you let out a soft sigh, smiling faintly, “Almost time for work, I take it?” Seeing that your eyes were on him and him alone… god, he loved it. So, so very much.
He offered you a weak smile, wrapping an arm around you and gently squeezing your hip, “YEAH, I’M AFRAID SO. I NEED TO WORK LATE AGAIN TONIGHT, SO THERE’S DINNER IN THE FRIDGE WHENEVER YOU GET HUNGRY.” Cuddling close to him and laying your head on his shoulder, you hummed in understanding and playfully raised an eyebrow, “You already prepped dinner? When did you manage to do that?” The skeletons’ smile widened and he chuckled, “I WOKE UP EARLY THIS MORNING AND MADE IT.” You snorted, visibly amused, “Wow, look at you, hot shot. I wish I had as much ambition as you.”
That remark earned a laugh from him and he held you as close to himself as he could, “YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU REALLY PUT YOUR MIND TO, MY LOVE.” He then paused, pressing a skeleton kiss to your temple and mumbling against your skin, “BEFORE I LEAVE THOUGH, DO YOU REMEMBER THE RULES?” You nodded and sighed, absentmindedly raising a hand to play with his scarf, “Mhm, sure do.” “CARE TO REPEAT THEM FOR ME, THEN?” You made a face, your cheeks gaining a faint blush as his gloved hand captured yours, and he delicately intertwined his fingers with your own, “Uh well… No inviting anyone over, no allowing anyone other than Papyrus into the house, no allowing Papyrus into your room while I’m alone there, no going into Paps room, and no touching Paps? Not in any way, even accidental bumps or hand brushing?”
Sans purred in delight, his eye lights shifting into small hearts as he gently cupped your face and kissed you deeply, holding you close to himself. As he nipped your bottom lip and trailed the tip of his cyan ecto tongue along it, the sound of someone coughing could be heard. It was an awkward cough, as if they’d walked in on something they weren’t meant to see, and your blush darkened: Papyrus. Growling faintly in irritation at having been interrupted, Sans broke away from the kiss, looking up at his elder brother, who was currently standing at the bottom of the stairs, “WHAT IS IT, BROTHER?”
Papyrus gestured to the clock, using his free hand to awkwardly rub the back of his neck, “it’s just that your uh… your shift starts in three minutes.” Accepting this as a reasonable excuse for disturbing his moment with you, Sans sighed, “THANK YOU, PAPY. I’LL HEAD OUT AS SOON AS I FINISH SAYING GOODBYE TO MY HUMAN.” The taller, lanky brother made a sound of acceptance, digging into his hoodie pocket and fishing around for his cigarettes as he crossed the living room, heading for the front door, “alright, bro. sounds like a plan.”
As Papyrus disappeared, vanishing outside and leaving you alone with Sans, a mischievous look flickered in Sans’ sockets. Shifting slightly in his seat, he tugged you onto his lap, turning you so that you were facing him before very intentionally raising one of his legs slightly. Considering that you were essentially straddling his lap, his single raised leg was between your legs, and as gravity would have it, you now had it grinding against your still clothed sex. Watching your blush darken a noticeable amount, Sans smirked, almost appearing wicked as he moved his leg, making sure you felt it against you. Drawing a soft whimper from you, he chuckled, beaming at you in smug satisfaction as he lowered his leg, so that it no longer rubbed against you.
You pouted at the sudden lack of stimulation and he continued to smile at you, delicately running his fingers through your hair and mumbling in that slightly deeper, husky voice he knew you loved, “IF YOU FOLLOW THE RULES AND BE A GOOD HUMAN FOR ME, I’LL GIVE YOU A REWARD AS SOON AS I GET HOME.” You nodded, still blushing deeply, “O-Ok… Should I wait up for you, then?” The skeleton shrugged, playfully arching a brow bone at you, “IF YOU THINK YOU CAN STAY UP THAT LONG, THEN BE MY GUEST.” Sliding off his lap to let him get up, you smiled sheepishly as he leaned down to steal a kiss from you, muttering in a hushed voice against your lips, “I Love You So Much… I’ll See You Tonight, Beautiful.”
He had then proceeded to use a shortcut, heading off to work for the rest of the day.
The day had passed so slow that it was almost cruel, and the amount of boredom he faced was torturous. To combat it, he let his mind wander back to you on multiple occasions, wondering how you were doing, what you were doing, and what all he would do to you that night. By the time his shift was nearly over, he’d pulled out his phone, resorting to check the notifications on his social media. There was a photo posted earlier on in the day by a mutual friend of yours, and you’d been tagged in it. He clicked on the notification, immediately interested, but in response to actually seeing it, he scowled.
The photo might’ve seemed innocent enough to anyone else, but to him… it made his nonexistent stomach turn. You were in the photo, standing in the aisle of a small grocery store that he instantly recognized, and standing around you were a handful of your friends. The caption simply read, “Saw this dork while out getting some snacks <3 ended up staying so long chatting that the cashier had to ask us to leave.” As if the heart emoticon wasn’t aggravating enough, the way your friends were looking at you was almost enough to infuriate him.
They looked at you with pure adoration, as if they were in love with you or something. There was a second photo attached to the post that also had you in it, but one of your female friends had her arms around you, kissing your forehead. The photo had been taken while the both of you laughed over it, and as he gazed at the image, he began to tighten his grip on his phone, only stopping as the screen glitched and began to crack. If this was the game they wanted to play, then so be it.
Sans loved games, and being as magnificent and determined as he was, there was no way he could ever lose. When you were the prize at the end of the game in question, however, he’d do anything to guarantee that no one else gained your affections. If they tried, he’d have to make it point to have a little conversation with them. If they couldn’t be reasoned with, then, well… he’d just have to get rid of them, wouldn’t he?
As soon as his shift ended, he clocked out and headed home, ready to set his plan into motion.
When he got back to the house, it was dark, minus the porch light and a single, dimly lit room upstairs, which he instantly recognized as his own. Relaxing the smallest bit, he slipped in through the unlocked front door, taking off his boots and turning to lock the door behind himself before he headed for the stairs. Being extra careful as he passed by Papyrus’ room, he placed his steps very specifically, avoiding the floorboards that he knew would creak under his weight. He made a beeline for his bedroom door, very carefully opening it, then nudging it shut behind himself and absentmindedly locking it.
Turning to glance around the room, his eye lights almost instantly located you; you were lying on his bed, a book open and laying on your chest. He smiled to himself, quietly making his way around the bed to pick up the book and mark your page for you before setting it aside; god, you were honestly just so cute like this. You must’ve dozed off while waiting for him to come home, and his soul swelled in complete, utter adoration and love as he gazed at you.
You’d dozed off, leaving yourself completely helpless and vulnerable, and the thought of that alone elicited a soft groan from him. Call it sick, call it twisted, but he just… couldn’t help it. He loved seeing you vulnerable and helpless like this. It delivered a certain thrill that he was unable to find anywhere else, no matter how hard he searched for it. He slipped his gloves and scarf off, setting them on his desk before beginning to remove the rest of his battle body, changing into his favorite set of pajamas and climbing into bed with you.
Shifting in your sleep, you rolled onto your side, your back to him, and he frowned. He just wanted to see that adorable face of yours, and now he couldn’t. Not unless -
He cautiously sat up, sitting on the edge of the bed and watching you for a moment to make sure he hadn’t disturbed you, before he used his magic, delicately rolling you onto your back again and holding you in place as he curled his fingers around the waistband of your pants and underwear, tugging both of them down and off of you in one fluid motion. He paused again to make sure you remained asleep, which thankfully, you did. He let out a deep sigh of relief, and then proceeded to gently coax your legs apart, settling in the space between them.
With his attention centered almost entirely on your face, he slowly slid a bony finger inside you. Stopping once it was all the way in, he paused, the soft moan that slipped past your lips enough to cause his magic to begin forming a bulge in his pajama pants. Feeling spurred on, he began slowly thrusting his finger in and out of you, his eye lights shifting into hearts as you mewled, his name a mumble as it escaped from you. Even in your sleep, you dreamt of him doing these things to you? Touching you this way and making you feel good?
He purred softly, an affectionate smile finding its way onto his face; just for that, he might have to forgive you for letting those friends of yours get as close as they did. Adding a second finger and pumping his digits a bit faster, Sans watched as you squirmed, moaning softly again. You clenched around his fingers and he arched a brow bone, still wearing a toothy grin; truth be told, he was having more fun with this than he thought he would.
He slipped his fingers out of you, licking them off as he looked over your exposed body. He couldn’t take it anymore. Before you woke up, he needed to get a taste of you.
Sans leaned down, inhaling your scent and groaning softly before burying his face between your thighs, immediately lapping at your entrance and moaning. You shifted in your sleep again, letting out a much louder moan, but at this point, he didn’t care if you woke up and caught him in the act. Pressing closer to you, he moaned again, thrusting his tongue into your hole and fighting back the whine that threatened to slip from his maw as his now fully formed member began to ache, as if begging to be touched.
Growling faintly in annoyance, he shoved his pants down just enough to free his length before he wrapped a hand around it and began stroking his shaft, moaning against your entrance again. Your eyelids fluttered and you mumbled something incoherent, beginning to stir as he drew more moans from you.
Continuing to lap at your entrance as he quickened his strokes, he lost himself in pleasure, and the thing that brought him back to reality was the startled yelp that left your lips as you woke up. You’d begun to question him, but all he heard was his name coming out of your mouth, and with the knowledge that you were fully awake now, he moaned against you. The vibrations from his moans directly on your ridiculously sensitive core… that was what pushed you over the edge. You bucked your hips, your body spasming as the coil in your gut came undone and you moaned loudly, reaching your climax.
Sans eagerly licked up your juices, his body beginning to tremble the smallest bit. Catching your breath, you sighed, smiling sheepishly at him, “W-Wow… Well that was one hell of a wake up call.” His sockets, now hazy and clouded with visible lust, shifted their focus to your face and he smirked, sliding back to slip off his pajamas, “THAT WAS ROUND ONE, MY LOVE. WE’RE ONLY JUST BEGINNING.”
Now fully unclothed, he leaned over you, his magic releasing its hold on you as he fumbled with your shirt, nearly tearing it as he impatiently tried to get it off of you. You cooperated to the best of your ability, feeling a bit relieved once it was finally removed and tossed aside. With your naked form beneath him, his cyan ecto tongue slipped out of his mouth, gliding over his teeth as he took in the sight of you. You were so beautiful… so gorgeous and perfect.
And he couldn’t wait to absolutely wreck you.
Gripping your legs a bit harder than he’d intended, he hoisted your feet up over his shoulders and thrust his entire length inside you in one go. Clamping a hand over your mouth in an effort to muffle your voice, you squealed, arching your back and clenching around him, and he moaned, his breathing becoming shaky. As Sans began to rock his hips, he slammed into you roughly, quickly turning your loud moans and squeals of pleasure into screams, and his eye lights became small hearts as he watched you again. But… He was a bit annoyed, at the same time.
You kept trying to muffle the sounds you were making, and that simply wouldn’t do.
One of his sockets flared up with his cyan magic, and you found your hands pinned above your head. He’d paused briefly to let your legs down, off of his shoulders, before pushing them as far apart as possible. As he resumed his previous motions and began ramming into you again, he let out a rather loud growl, tightly gripping your hips, “SCREAM FOR ME, HUMAN. I WANT THOSE FRIENDS OF YOURS TO HEAR US FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN.” Your eyes widened in surprise and as you opened your mouth to ask what was going on with him, he decided to angle his hips a bit differently, before snapping them forward again and slamming into your sweet spot.
With your face entirely flushed, you screamed in pleasure, beginning to buck your hips in time with his thrusts as you whined and begged, “O-Oh shit… Sans, please! Fuck me harder! Please, I really need it!” The skeleton growled, his gaze almost predatory and dangerous as he leaned over you, his voice husky, “SCREAM MY NAME FIRST, THEN. EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW WHO YOU BELONG TO… YOU’RE MINE, AND MINE ONLY. I DON’T LIKE SHARING… YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BY NOW.”
He slammed into your sweet spot again and you did as told, screaming his name. A pleased purr left him and he bucked his hips harder than before, his pelvis hitting yours hard enough that he knew would end up leaving bruises. Leering down at you and offering you a sultry grin, he began to roll his hips noticeably faster, moaning as your inner walls squeezed his shaft, “TELL ME AGAIN WHO YOU BELONG TO.” Writhing beneath him and screaming again, tears rolled down your face at the overwhelming amount of pleasure you felt, “You! Always you, don’t belong to anyone else! Won’t ever belong to anyone else! Don’t want anyone else, only want you, Sans!”
Moaning loudly as he felt his own release rapidly approaching, he panted, continuing to slam into you at the same speed and with the same amount of force as before, his tongue lolling from his mouth and allowing his cyan tinted saliva to drip down onto your chest and stomach, “S-SHIT, FUCK… MINE. YOU’RE MINE, HUMAN! MINE, MINE, MINE!” Arching your back at what looked to be an almost painful degree, your eyes rolled back and your body spasmed again. With a silent scream, you came undone around him, and in turn, caused him to finish as well. He thrust his length as deep into you as he could, leaning down and sinking his teeth into your shoulder, permanently marking you as his mate as he released a moan that sounded similar to your name and shot his seed deep inside you.
Feeling his teeth in your shoulder, you whimpered, this time in pain rather than pleasure. Easily catching this, he let go of your shoulder, purring faintly as he began to trace the tip of his tongue over the bite, almost in a soothing manner. As you let out another whimper, he softly shushed you, gently pressing his teeth to your lips and offering you praise, his voice hushed now, “Shhh… It’s Ok, My Love. You Took So Much More Than Normal, And You Did So Well. You Never Cease To Amaze Me, And For That, I Love You. With Every Fiber Of My Being, And With My Entire Soul.” Your lips curled into an affectionate smile and with your hands now free, you gently touched his face, mumbling tiredly, “I love you too, Sans… With all my heart.”
He leaned into your touch, his eye lights heart shaped once more as he watched you with pure adoration, sighing softly as he delicately touched your hand, “I’m Glad… We Should Rest Now Though… It’s Late, And We Need It.” You nodded in agreement, attempting to muffle a yawn. With the length his magic had formed now completely gone, he simply flopped down next to you, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you flush against himself, smiling as you cuddled into his side.
Your eyes drifted shut, and it wasn’t long before you fell asleep, remaining where you currently were. As you dreamt, Sans watched you quietly, admiring how peaceful you looked, sleeping in his arms like this. His cheekbones dusted a bright shade of cyan as he delicately rested a hand on your stomach; you were already beautiful as is, so he couldn’t imagine how beautiful you’d be, as the potential mother of his child.
That was a discussion for tomorrow though. As a wave of exhaustion swept over him, he yawned, his hand remaining on your stomach in an almost protective manner. He wasn’t sure how you’d react to possibly becoming a mom, but once those friends of yours saw you covered in love bites with a swollen belly and his mark on your shoulder, they’d know to stay away.
As they rightfully should.

So what if sans stayed a kitty and red stayed a wolf? Wouldn’t that be super adorable 🥺 like red would act all gruff and tough but when sans does a little “mew” he wraps him around in a huge puppy hug and smothers him. Kitty sans grooming himself all lazy and relaxed than a dangerous stranger comes up approaches him threading to attack while sans sits there with a smug grin about to know what’s gonna happen. Suddenly a huge wolf red is behind the stranger growling and ready to attack
Dang noonie... you know me so well cause this strikes right into my heartstrings QwQ♥
First... smol kitty Sans and big wolf Red??? Stars dammit I would literally kill to steal someone’s drawing skills and draw the two of them cuddling like that with Sansy doing a little mew or purring and Red just nuzzling into him!! QAQ♥♥♥♥♥
And here is a tiny drabble (sorry I’m still tired from the dumb corona so these will be short, but I promise I absolutely adore this idea X3) for you noonie!

Sans was sitting on the steps outside the monster embassy, waiting for Red. The bigger monster went to get some paperwork done due to their new... forms. Sans was still pretty salty about that, mostly because he was stuck in a lot smaller body than before. And he wasn’t a big monster to start with. It was even worse that Red got bigger instead, making him tower above Sans.
Though having a very big bonefriend did have its perks.
Getting bored, he automatically started to groom himself, another thing that made him both annoyed and embarrassed. He didn’t do it consciously, it was just something his new instincts had him doing occasionally and it wasn’t pleasant when it happened in public. But before he even noticed what he was doing, a large shadow loomed above him, making him freeze in his spot.
“Hey there little one, what are you doing all alone out here?” A sleazy voice came out of the looming figure. Sans had a hard time figuring out what the man (based on the voice) looked like, the sun behind his head making it hard to see his features.
“huh?” Sans replied, confused. What the hell did that mean? Did this man think Sans was a kid? He wasn’t wearing stripes, it was obvious Sans was an adult. But humans tended to forget that so he was ready to play it off as a joke saying “pal, i kid you not but you got the wrong idea here.”
“... a wise guy, huh?” The man suddenly looked like he was looming even worse, making Sans’ hackles stand on end, ears flat to his skull and tail swishing behind him. This didn’t look good. What the hell did this dude want.
Suddenly the man shot an arm out, grabbing Sans’ hoodie below his chin and lifting him up, which wasn’t hard due to his minuscule size. Sans struggled and growled, claws gripping the man’s hand and making him bleed. Unfortunately his claws weren’t very sharp, not like Red’s, so he wasn’t doing much damage. But he struggled and yelled at the man to let go.
Instead of listening, the man just laughed at Sans, and pulled him face to face. His breath stank, like he had been drinking heavy liquor. It made Sans shudder and scrunch his nose ridge up, a hiss involuntarily leaving his teeth.
“not so funny now, are ya freak?” The disgusting man spat in Sans’ face as he said that and grinned in satisfaction, waiting for Sans to get terrified of him.
Instead, Sans' eyelights darted above him and then focused back to the man’s eyes, a lazy relaxed grin spreading across his teeth. With a wink he said “you should really let me go pal, i’m not kidding around.”
“What the fu-” before he could end that question, it suddenly got darker and a deep growl came from his back, making his whole body instinctively shake. Slowly, the man turned his head back only to see a red shirt. So he lifted his eyes. And lifted them some more. Until they were met by teeth. Lots and lots of very sharp teeth, growling down at him.
A large, clawed, hand grabbed his hand where he was holding the blue hoodie and squeezed, making the bones in his wrist creak. With a yelp, the man let go, catching a glimpse of the small kitten skeleton gracefully landing on his feet. But most of his focus was on the hand gripping his, painful tears gathering in the corner of his eyes.
Sans casually put his hands in his pockets. He looked as relaxed as he was before the man had grabbed him. With a lazy grin and a look behind the man’s shoulder, Sans beamed at the big monster holding his attacker. Red, his bigboned bonefriend, gave him a fast lookover making sure Sans was okay. Once he was sure there were no visible injuries, Red grabbed the back of the man’s neck and effortlessly lifted him up.
“’m gonna take da trash out, sweetheart.” Red said to Sans, shaking the man he was holding a bit. “wait fer me in da embassy, ‘kay?”
“okay, red.” Sans nodded and made his way up the steps, watching as Red brought the man to the guard station. He would probably have a talk with him before he came to pick Sans up, so Sans had time to calm down a bit. This shook him up more than he'd like to admit, but it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. He had Red, after all.
Having a very big bonefriend really did have its perks.

x Secrets of The Lake: The Company of Misery and Pain

{ Chapter 14 }
Summary: Vladimir Masters’ family tree has always been tainted by secrets swept under the rug. From generation to generation there have been countless reasons the Masters’ family had seemed to keep private from the public. Even to this day, Vladimir was no exception. But what was one to do when a restless spirit from the settlement years finally breaks free from restraints and demands you answer for your ancestor’s crimes? Vladimir doesn’t know. However, Clockworks does.
Notes: We just having fun, rewriting some of the canon, new adventure new characters. I will apologize now for any grammar, spelling, weird sentence structuring in advance. My brain writes faster than my fingers and even when I go back through to reread it I still miss things. Sorry about that!

Vladan felt his heart start to beat again moments ago when he left the town square, rushing to get home and make sure Tayonna was safe. He had heard the whispers, the rumours, the stories of a man in the town cursed by a black witch to be her slave. He heard it from the young maidens the gossip near his stall as they peaked over their shoulders to look at him. His fist was clenched tight but he wore his polite face continuously as he greeted customers anyway. He heard the way the children would gasp as they lifted their fingers towards him but their mothers quickly shooed them away in a panic.
Then he heard the mention of killing the witch and that was enough to put him on edge. Vladan tried his best to keep himself composed and not lash out demanding who spoke ill of him. He knew if he did it would only further their whispers and nor he or Tayonna would be safe. However he would neither stand around for the rest of the day listening to their words, especially if they were not gentlemen enough to do it out of his face, he was disgusted.
When the last customer of the day wandered away with their goods. Vladan quickly set to work, closing his stall and loading his wagon up with what was leftover for the day. He didn’t care that the profit was unusually low, what he wanted more than anything was to get home. When he was finally prepared to depart he drove the horses with haste, as he weaved through those on the street he didn’t fail to see the glowing green eyes that watched him like prey.
Lady Spelltra, dressed in dark reds that almost went black, fanned herself with a smirk pulling at her lips. Vladan had known it had to be her. Anger filled him but he was no beast to ever lash out at a woman without real proof. Nor was he a fool to do so to the judge’s daughter of all people. As he finally made it to the clearing of dirt roads that went north of the town, he whipped for the horses to pick up speed.
Vladan didn’t have to turn his head to hear the patter of hoofs that trailed behind him. They weren’t good at hiding nor were they good at making sure he wouldn’t be able to notice he was being followed. The town was not made up of the best British soldiers, only the ones that did enough to get by. They should have taken better notes from the Germans instead of relying on their French relatives.
Vladan tsked and whipped the horses again to pick up the pace so he could have time to warn Tayonna. He knew she wouldn’t be in the house, she was always outside or near the door to greet him. To welcome him on with love and warmth and her bright eyes and smile. But there would be none of that, he hoped she would at least be behind the house to give them both time, or he hoped by the small chance she would actually be inside.
When he rounded the bend and tucked off into another dirt road he could see the clouds parted above his home bathing in the set of the sun. Vladan groaned and tried to think of an excuse for when the townies arrived at his home with a false ‘checking on you’ he would have a good enough reason to why, in a very gloomy part of the colony, did the sun shine down so brightly. By the greatness of God! Could you believe that, must be his appreciation for the great German people! Vladan joked in his head but quickly whooshed it away as he made it up to the last dirt stretch between his house and the road. He jumped from his wagon and ran the rest of the way trying to find Tayonna. He spotted her by the front garden kneeling down with plants in her hands.
“Tayonna!” Vladan called out breathlessly and panting as he finally made it closer to the house. He was so relieved to see her but the panic set back in when he realized they were still in danger. The girl rose to her feet and turned around with a giant smile to greet him. When she saw how alarmed he was she walked towards him with her hand stretched out to comfort him. Vladan yelled at her no and swiped in the air for her to go.
“You have to run, Tayonna! They are following me, get away from here and don’t come back until you think it’s safe or I come for you. Go, hurry!” Vladan yelled and Tayonna dropped everything and picked up her skirt and took off towards the edge of the forest. Vladan stayed put to make sure Tayonna was able to escape. When the girl was out of sight Vladan could then hear the front door open as two of his other servants peaked out and also the slowing of running horses. Vladan finally caught his breath and straightened out his back , he locked eyes with the servants and nodded towards them and they knew what that meant. They walked out and stood beside him as Vladan slowly turned and put on a stoic face. The archbishop, the town's mayor, and of course the judge himself rose from their horses and walked down the dirt path.
“Good Sirs, what brings you so far from the town?” Vladan forced his politeness as he bowed his head and his servants followed suit.
“Sir Mægisters, we believe you are unwillingly harbouring a witch.” The judge stepped forward with his hands behind his back and a dark, deep scowl on his face. Vladan swallowed and took a deep breath before slowly turning his head towards the forest. It felt like time had suddenly stopped and the air around him became dense as his vision only tunnel towards where Tayonna had gone. His body began to shake and his breath became hard and laboured as he huffed and puffed through his mouth. The air then turned hot and flames started to grow from the ground. The forest began to go up in flames and Vladan’s eyes widened as fear of the very worst pushed to the forefront. He felt this voice stuck in his throat but it burned to be let out. He tried to move but every fibre in his body turned in slow motion. Finally, as if on his last breath, he screamed as he watched the flames turn from red to a toxic fuchsia.
“Tayonna!”
Vlad's eyes shot open and he sharply sat up as a burning sensation roasted in his throat. He hadn’t even opened his mouth but it felt as if he had been yelling for hours non-stop. He was too shaken up to move any part of him and just panted heavily as he looked forwards towards the wall. He hadn’t had the dream since this whole thing started, now he knew what was being said and why Tayonna ran away, but he never remembered there ever being a fire.
As a matter of fact there was never a fire, it wasn’t real, but it felt so real. And in that dream in those last few seconds, he felt hopeless. No. Vladan felt hopeless, these were all Vladan’s memories and nightmares. Vlad was not Vladan and damn sure was not going to start having an identity crisis all of a sudden. Finally, Vlad felt his body become his body and he brought a hand up to his face to cradle it. He took another deep breath then pushed his hair back and out of his face.
A red mist rose from Vlad’s part lips and he quickly turned towards the left when he felt the energy of someone in his room. Tayonna stood at his bay windows staring out towards the night sky. He took note that she was in her ghost form and was wrapped in a purple shawl he had never seen before. She didn’t wear her sad expression but more so a stoic and unbothered one.
“Why are you in my room?” Vlad’s voice broke a bit as the sting in his throat made it difficult to speak. Tayonna turned from the window and her eyes dug holes into Vlad. Her eyes glowed green from her ghostliness but also from the moon that hung higher in the sky but lower towards the earth. Vlad wasn’t going to ask her again but he knew if she didn’t answer him here soon he wouldn’t be too kind to send her on her way for invading his space. Tayonna looked back towards the sky then sighed then shook her head.
“He called for me,” Tayonna lowered her head then slowly faded away in the air and out of Vlad’s room. His senses told him she was completely away from him and Vlad could only groan and fall back into his bed. Vlad knew he wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep now. He knew it would be the air of staring up at his ceiling counting black sleep as the sun slowly rose that he would feel the pull of his eyes. Luckily for him, four hours of sleep were enough to keep him going.
Vlad felt so out of place as the days filtered by one by one. The week had already started again with Monday sending him off to work at a different company he owned. Everything for the most part seemed in place but yet, Vlad felt like he was operating on autopilot and just allowing what was left of his consciousness to do his day for him. After hours he would drive home expecting an empty house, however, even if Tayonna wasn’t around he knew she was there. They wouldn’t speak other than when Vlad was being polite and or when Vlad was telling her something she shouldn’t do while he would rush out. Honestly, he felt no need to remind her to behave, she hardly did anything except ghost around his home and then settle herself in his garden. Even in the late hours when dinner was served she would stay outside leaning against the statue spinning a flower in her hand.
Vlad didn’t really try to make an effort to speak to the girl either. Though it would have been nice to have some decent conversation, he held his tongue and went about as if she wasn’t there. What was the point when the few times he did talk to her it was to ask a question about her problem that left them both in weird feelings. Vlad very much preferred not feeling a false romantic intimacy towards the girl. Luckily for him, the voice in his ear had also been silent the past couple of days which brought joy to Vlad for having his mind to himself.
The only time it seemed that the voice and the person it belonged to seemed to surface a bit was when Vlad became curious about Maddie. One evening while enjoying soft music playing from his radio and a drink, he thought of how lovely dance with Maddie would have been. Within a matter of seconds, his head was hurting and he could hear incoherent grumbling echoing around him. Vlad felt rather silly screaming out shut up to no one during the dead of the night.
During the busy week Vlad tried to keep up with his personal public affairs. Kate hadn’t gotten much done due to the state libraries in Pennsylvania being closed for construction. That meant she wouldn’t be able to do much except enjoy a few vacation days with Jackson till she was able to report back to him.
“Don’t worry, Sir, we won't drive the company bankrupt.” Kate snicker then hangs up and Vlad would only shake his head and get back to work.
When he tried to reach out to Dani, the teen would keep up the small talk but would end it quickly when someone called her name or Vlad figured out she was sneaking out of the Fenton house again. Surely Vlad couldn’t think of a good enough reason why the girl was sneaking around doing stuff but a part of him told him not to pressure her to tell him. Instead, Vlad sends a text to Danny telling him to keep an eye on his young cousin. Danny would only respond with an emoji. Personally, Vlad found that disrespectful considering he wrote out a full message. A single emoji. A thumbs up emoji at that, Danny could at least say okay and Vlad would have taken it. Guess that was just his age talking, Vlad would never be caught up with the youth of the world.
At night when the house became sound of sleep and Vlad would have a dream and found himself awakened and unable to sleep. He would find Tayonna in his room once more standing and facing the window. She would never turn towards him nor acknowledge him. The few times Vlad actually paid her more than a glance he would see her lips moving but could never hear what she was saying. Tayonna would stand at the window for the same amount of time it took Vlad to go back to sleep, then she was gone. Sometimes that wouldn’t be until the sun started to peek over the horizon and Vlad had made it obvious he was getting up for the day. She still wouldn’t say anything and faded away in thin air. He had asked her the third night why she kept creeping in and she only huffed and mumbled something about ‘he is so loud’ before slipping through the side of the house towards the garden.
What was the point? If she wasn’t bothering him then he would allow her to stand there and talk to herself, it's not like if she left he would be able to sleep. It wouldn’t, he would still be staring up at the white ceiling sighing annoyingly. At least she was some else to look at. At times when the dreams were a bit out of hand Vlad was glad to see her standing there even if she wasn’t helpful. He didn’t feel alone, especially when he knew that she knew what was going on. Like a child waking up from a nightmare about the monster under their bed but the night light was a safety beacon. Tayonna served as Vlad’s safety beacon of understanding the nightmares, just like Danny did with understanding the halfa business. It was lacklustre and a bit bland but Vlad would smile gently as he saw her there and sometimes that was enough to roll over and actually fall back asleep. There were never dreams afterwards, Vlad would dream of nothing and he was okay with that.
But sometimes when he dreamt of nothing it felt like an out of body experience and he was still somewhat awake. He could feel the gentle swipe of a hand across his face and it eased him. When Saturday made its round again Vlad didn’t feel like going golfing and preferred to go home. He didn’t even bother looking around as he ghosted through his front door and shrugged off his suit jacket to hang up. He kicked off his shoes without unlacing them, which on another day would have bothered him, but today he just didn’t care. He pushed at the buttons of his button up and loosen his tie as he walked towards the kitchen for a snack.
He turned his arm invisible and reached through the fridge to pull out one of Dani’s Gogurts. He knew it was childish but he had to indulge himself at least once a month. No harm no foul when no one worth keeping up an image for was around. Vlad was about to head towards the living room and turn on the tv until he heard talking coming from the sliding doors. He slowly walked over and looked through the glass towards the normal spot Tayonna would sit. He couldn’t actually see if she was there due to the angle but he could see the top of her head popping in and out of sight as she moved.
He didn’t feel like walking out so he stood by the door and used his enhanced senses to try and make out what she was doing. Though she was a bit out of his hearing range he could still make out she was speaking in German. Angrily speaking at that, she was grumbling about wanting something, and of course Vladan, but some words Vlad couldn’t make out because they were older German words he never learned.
Thank those above Vlad took German in college and had an overseas company in Germany, or else he would be stuck at square one if Tayonna ever fuck right off with English. Vlad didn’t care to continue listening if all the girl was going to do was complain, he could listen to himself do that if he really wanted. Vlad scoffed and turned on his feet only to hear the sound of paper hitting the floor. He sighed and kneeled down to pick up Clockwork calling card and read it.
“Anger with others festers in ourselves, acting upon it will drive us insane.” - CW
Vlad felt the sudden urge to go down to his basement and invent something that could rip a hole in space and time to create a portal straight into Clock’s lair and ask him what the hell this meant. Always with the vagueness! Vlad was now starting to understand why Danny either loved and bragged about how amazing clockwork was, or bitch him out about Clockwork loving to take a jab at him every chance he got. Truly those with masterful minds were annoying. And that was coming from Vlad himself.
Vlad crumpled up the card and threw it away as he exited out of the kitchen and towards the living room. Saturday meant a football game or something sports related would be on. Vlad just wanted to enjoy his Gogurt (and maybe another one) and cheer for whoever was winning. And that’s how the week ended with Vlad getting a little too into a hockey match between two states he actually never been to.
“How did you forget?” Vlad didn’t need to see Danny to know the young man was rolling his eyes. He could hear the slight annoyance in his voice and for once Vlad did feel bad for causing it.
“To be fair I do have a ghost lurking around my house while also trying to keep face with my companies. I promise it was not intentional and if I did happen to forget until the day of, I would have hurried over in good nature to embarrass you as I had planned.” Vlad shrugged and smirked as he heard Danny grumble a ‘fuck off’ so he wouldn’t he heard by his parents. Vlad did feel bad though, he forgot Danny’s graduation was this coming Wednesday and it was already Monday afternoon.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t Jack nor Maddie that had invited Vlad to the graduation, Danny himself hand delivered the invite two months ago. Vlad felt his heart flutter with warmth at the realization that Danny really did see him as much more than ‘that old man that tried to steal my mom, kill my dad, and adopt me in one day’. Vlad also knew it had to be Dani that pushed for Danny to do it and Vlad was forever grateful for her. But Vlad did become busy with other things and time seemed to slip away from him. Almost like a cruel joke made up by someone to give Vlad more than he could chew.
“No embarrassing me, just show up and be cool and don’t gather any further attention to yourself. The last thing I need is someone thinking I’m about to get an expensive car or something.” Danny sighed.
“Oh, so you don’t want the car?”
“You got me a car?!” Danny's voice cracked as it rose an octave and Vlad let out a chuckle of delight.
“No, I didn’t, but if you had wanted a car I’m sure that would have been a cheaper gift than what Danielle and Miss Way put together.” Vlad rolled his eyes remembering the two week expensive getaway he booked weeks ago for Danny and Co. to go on next Monday to Florida. Dani had told him she overheard Danny wanting to go to the Kennedy Space Center, Tucker wanting to go to the Humpy Dumpy anniversary concert, and Sam mentioning she wanted to see the sea life. Or was it to set it free? Vlad couldn’t remember but he knew he mindlessly said yes and passed the information to Kate. The horror when Vlad woke up the next morning to see he had just paid for something labeled under ‘a good time’. Kate had a wicked way of pranking her boss he wasn’t too sure he could live through. Good thing he was already half dead.
“D-Do I want to know?” Danny knew there was no weaselling out of whatever expensive gift Vlad got him. The man thrived off showboating and Danny knew if he told the man no, whatever it was would triple and might even have his family involved.
“That ruins all the hard work Danielle put into putting this all together.” Vlad leaned against his desk as he looked out the windows down to the busy city of Amity. It was mid evening and some people had just gotten off work. Vlad looked over to his clock and noted he had three hours left before he could go. He really craved a bath and a strawberry shortcake right about now.
“Suuuure, whatever, but still no embarrassing me Wednesday and also no flirting with my mom.” Both halfas grew quiet on the phone as an awkward silence washed over them. Vlad hasn’t tried to flirt openly with Danny’s mother in two years. Sure he still thought of her but he had learned to keep that to himself. He even told Danny he was over her, which was only half true to the point Vlad wasn’t obsessed anymore just...admirable. “Sorry, bad habits die hard,” Danny whispered and cleared his throat. Vlad only sighed and nodded to himself.
“They die hard for some, not for others, at least you didn’t say kill your father.” Vlad chuckled to himself. Honestly, since coming out as halfas and actually reconnecting with the Fentons, Vlad found himself back to his old ways with Jack. They were advancing at a constant pace towards who they used to be. But Vlad refused to do the old college battle call, they were adults now, middle aged, he was not going to scream at the top of his lungs.
Danny laughed, a little snort even fell out which made Vlad chuckles deepen, “Nah, I think you guys are fine. Besides if you did I would tell dad you totally wanted to go camping in the raw wilderness and sleep on the cold hard ground.”
“You wouldn’t dare.” Oh how Vlad despised the rawest form of camping, he liked nature just nothing about it that would cause him discomfort. Going camping like wild men was very displeasing. Vlad could hear Danny pull away from the phone and greet his father from wherever he came from and Vlad felt his heart run cold. He wasn’t in the mood to listen to Jack ramble, becoming friends again or not, now wasn’t a good time. Nor did he want Danny to tell Jack he wanted to go camping.
“You got lucky, fruitloop, Dad only came in to get a snack and left.” Danny snickered.
“I despise you,” Vlad dramatically responded and Danny let out a ‘ha!’
“Oh hey, Plasmius when did you get on the phone?” The two laughed for a bit before Danny spoke again. “But seriously, don’t forget and don’t be late, I’ll cry to my mom how I trusted you and you let me down and she’ll give you her disappointed mom look.”
“I will not be late, scout’s honour.”
“Yeah, yeah, scout’s honour, bye Vlad.”
“Goodbye, Daniel.”
Vlad couldn’t remember the last time he had been to a graduation and not been a part of it. Casper High School was not the only high school in amity, during Vlad’s mayor duties his springs were filled with giving speeches at several graduation events spread out from May to June. Having to now sit on the football bleachers and wait for god knows how long for everyone to take their seats then wait another hour for the graduates to come out made Vlad restless. Maybe a suit wasn’t his best choice, his butt started to hurt from sitting on metal. Luckily, or maybe not, Vlad was far from being bored as Jack and Maddie told him crazy stories from Danny’s childhood. Of course Jack made sure they all sat together, including Sam and Tucker’s family, as much as the Manson’s didn’t want to. Vlad couldn’t help but laugh at Jeremy and Pamela’s discomfort every time Jack drugged them into a conversation. While the other adults talked amongst each other about their children’s goals and accomplishments. Vlad's eyes wander off to see where his responsibility ran off to.
As soon as he arrived Dani was already away from the group chatting with friends that were in the band or happen to be the younger siblings of Danny’s peers. Vlad could only imagine the day of Dani’s graduation, he was already so proud of her being able to not only control her powers but also find her own personality. She never allowed the fact of how she was created deter her away from making something of herself.
Now that she got from the Fentons and Vlad could admit he was envious of it. He also couldn’t lie to himself he missed having her at home, who else was going to put chocolate syrup in his coffee as they slept walk in the morning? He finally spotted Dani down on the first row of bleachers with a group of her friends. One of them seems to have caught Vlad looking and got Dani’s attention and pointed. A few of them yelled hello and Vlad simply waved back and nodded. Dani covered her face in her hands and Vlad smiled knowing she was likely saying they were embarrassing her.
Just then Dani’s band friends were called back to their seats and began to play as teachers and staff walked across the stage and waved before taking their seats. When the song came to an end the speeches before the graduates started to introduce and welcome everyone. Jack and Maddie were already standing on their toes with banners with Danny’s face and name on them. After the two speakers, the music began again and the graduating class began to walk out in a single file line to the rows of chairs on the field. Vlad could never remember the names of any of Danny’s peers no matter how many times in the past he caused an issue. They were all just kids barely caring about their education and more about popularity.
All those kids had grown up and were about to breach into their twenties either getting jobs or going to college. Vlad hoped that as they got older they would be better people, but who was he kidding, only some of them could even spell the word mature. Except for the Baxter boy, Danny always complained about, who was currently throwing up hand signs and sticking out his tongue as he waved to the crowd. Somehow the whole football team had last names that sat them all together. Vlad could only imagine how well thought out that was when the staff realized the chaos. It didn’t take Danny long to be seen in the line of students since he was closer to the front of the alphabet.
“That’s my baby!”
“Danny-Oh!” Vlad knew his friends wouldn’t be able to handle themselves when they saw their baby boy. They had done the same thing when Jazz graduated from what Danny told Vlad. It was Jazz who had to get her parents to sit back down so they weren’t being too much of a nuisance the whole ceremony. Tucker was only five people behind Danny and the boys kept shooting glances at each other. Tucker held up his phone and Danny nodded. As the line continued Vlad realized Sam wouldn’t be anywhere near her friends.
Out of the 137 children graduating, Sam would be placed two rows behind her friends and somehow right next to Paulina, guess the school didn’t have many students with n-r as a last name. From what Danny said Sam and Paulina had just recently put their past aside and found themselves actually forming a friendship. Danny had also let it slip that Paulina may have developed a crush on Sam and that would explain why Paulina was twirling her finger through her hair.
Someone should have told Vlad that sitting on the other side of a graduation was outrageously boring. Speech after speech, thank you after thank you, the new mayor had no favour and was downright bland. Vlad had hoped the valedictorian and salutatorian would have fun speeches, but nope, they were just as boring. Vlad couldn’t stop the yawn that escaped his lips, it quickly turned into a red mist and Vlad shut his mouth. Dani seemed to have noticed and leaned over.
“Really? Today of all days?” Vlad saw Dani’s fist clasp and her about to stand up to take off and he quickly reached out and held his hand over hers and shook his head. Just then his phone beeped and he pulled it out of his pocket.
Daniel: Please tell me this is a joke >:T
Vlad: I’ll handle it.
Vlad slid his phone into his pocket and rose to his feet. He got the Fentons’ attention to tell them he was going to the bathroom but was going to be quick to not miss anything. They bought it (maybe all of them but Jazz, she saw his sense go off ) and Vlad excused himself but not before telling Dani to stay put. The last thing Vlad needed was the sporadic ghost hunters to rip the place apart out of rage for a ruined graduation. Vlad pardoned himself past families and walked down the stairs. He had to make this quick and find who or what set off his sense before they caused a scene. When Vlad made it to the ground he pushed past those who chose not to sit and made his way behind the bleachers. He was about to transform until he heard someone clear their throat towards him. Vlad quickly turned around and saw nothing but red eyes glowing from the shadows.
“Well, well look what we have here,” from the shadows stepped out Spectra in her human form fixing up her hair and double checking herself in the mirror. “Here to enjoy the misery as well? Or were you actually enjoying Danny’s big day?” The female ghost chuckled to herself and batted her eyes.
“What are you doing here? Didn’t you have your fun here ages ago?” Vlad spat out and Spectra pouted then rolled her eyes
“Always straight to the point, seems like things never change. If you must know, I’m here for a quick spa treatment and goodies.” Spectra walked over to Vlad and circled him a few before placing her hands on his shoulders. When he shrugged her off she playfully threw her hands up. “Don’t worry I’m not here to cause any more trouble than there actually is.”
“Any more?” Vlad cocked a brow telling her to continue and Spectra’s eyes narrowed and she walked back towards him to hook her arm through his and pull him along towards the ceremony. Vlad was about to pull away until he heard whimpering coming through the speakers.
“He would have wanted to walk with his class one last time. He would have wanted to be here and I’m happy I’m able to do it for him.” A mother stood at the mic dressed in a cap and gown whipping her tears and shakenly accepting her son’s diploma. Vlad had forgotten all about the accent that happened to one of the football players a couple of months ago. He had died from a tumour in his brain that he had been fighting since Vlad was in office.
It really shook the school to the core when his passing was announced. Vlad looked over to Spectra who was taking a big breath from the faint green clouds that formed around her. Like magic the wrinkles that happen to be on her face began to disappear and she became youthful. Her fiery hair burned back to life and her green eyes glowed like neon ectoplasm.
“Don’t look at me like that, I’m not feeding off the mother, just the handful of children who are still mourning,” Spectra smirked and fixed her hair in the mirror. Vlad could never understand why Spectra was so obsessed with her looks. Maybe it had something to do with who or what she was before her death. He never cared to ask her, he honestly never asked any of the ghosts their backstory. You weren’t supposed to get close to business unless it truly benefited you. Vlad learned that long ago when stepping into the political world. Vlad had done business with Spectra before and thought there were great benefits. That was until she’d crossed the line and Vlad made sure she was aware of it.
“Well since you’ve had your fix, you’ll be on your way.” Vlad pulled her arm back and tucked it behind his back while creating space between them. Spectra's happy go lucky mask seemed to melt away as Vlad kept cold towards her. He could almost see the way her smile twitched to stay upright.
“I said I was sorry and yet you still don’t forgive me?” Spectra fluttered her eyes and Vlad wanted to gag. Her charm had worked on him once but he was determined it would never work again.
“Your apologies are as empty as you are, and truly, there is nothing inside you that would amount to an actual apology.” Vlad gritted his teeth and turned away from her but when he looked forward Spectra was standing in front of him fixing her sunglasses.
“Oh, Plassy-”
“Never call me that.” Vlad felt his blood boil and the sparks in the palm of his hands start to ignite and he quickly calmed himself down.
“Fine, fine, but Plasmius I don’t really understand.” Spectra was quick on her feet and spun Vlad back around while pulling him in close just as Danny’s name was announced across the speakers. Vlad could hear Danny's parents losing their mind as their son awkwardly walked across the stage and got his diploma. The boy gave a quick wave to his family then down to Sam who too gave a cheer. “You used to want control over that boy, have him weak and begging under your boot to be taken under your wing. Then you wanted control over this town and that leaked into the Ghost Zone. Remember how excited you were to possibly sit on Pariah’s throne?” Vlad groaned and tried to pull away from Spectra until she turned his head towards the Fentons. “And then her. Everything about her was truly what you wanted. Then suddenly, poof! It was all gone and you were turning over a new leaf for “the better”.” Spectra finally let go of Vlad and made air quotations while rolling her eyes. Vlad said nothing, he honestly didn’t know what to say that wouldn’t be him threatening to kill her where she stood. He remembered all of that! But he also remembered how bitter and petty he was during all of it.
“That is the past, Spectra.” Vlad kept his cool even when he growled at her. She only smirked.
“Sure it is, but you have to admit when you came to me for help in your little games I did what I could.” Spectra walked close and only stood inches away from Vlad. He could feel her icy breath tickle his cheek and he pulled back. “I did what I could and then much more.” Spectra ran a finger up Vlad’s arm then caressed his cheek before sliding it down to his chest. Vlad felt his core shake and a burning feeling rise to his chest which caused the other to pull away. She shook her hand and cursed then pulled herself together. Vlad had no idea what that was but whatever it was he thanked and hoped it would keep her off him for the rest of their conversation.
“I bet you miss that.” Spectra narrowed her eyes over her shades and winked.
“I don’t,” Vlad held up a finger and shot at Spectra’s feet to get her away from him. It worked but Spectra’s smile never fell and she continued to act as cool as ever. She shrugged then turned back towards the ceremony and narrowed her eyes wickedly. Vlad knew it was best not to ask her what she was thinking, he didn’t want to hear her voice any more than he had to.
“He’s gotten so big and tall and stronger, maybe one day he’ll surpass you and you’ll be nothing but a faint memory. I know how much that weighs on you.” Vlad nearly shot the ghost down where she stood but she was quick to disappear with an echo of laughter. Vlad stomped his foot and turned away from where they were to go to the bathroom. He had to calm down and not allow that red headed vixen to play with his mind. She had already done that in the past and it left Vlad in a blind rage until he had her begging mercy before he ripped her apart.
Why on earth did he think Spectra was ever a good ally, he wasn’t sure...actually he knew why but he didn’t want to admit it. Desperation made you do foolish things that haunted you in three inch red heels and red hair. He was sure he would never see her again but today seemed to be against him. After a few minutes of counting down from 30 and fixing his suit he rushed back out the door and towards his seat.
When Vlad sat down he held up a hand before Maddie or Jack could say anything, “Don’t worry I saw him walk, I was at the food hut in the nick of time. I’m so proud of him.” Jack only smiled and waved his banner back and forth, Maddie nodded and turned back towards the end of the students crossing.
“What was it?” Dani leaned over towards her father and nudged him. Vlad sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose before shaking his head.
“Nothing, just some loose goops, everything is handled.” Vlad held his gaze with Dani to ensure her but he knew she could tell he was lying. With what just happened with Spectra he wanted nothing more to pull Dani into a hug but he knew that would only raise suspicions. For now Vlad only smiled and looked away from a very confused Dani. After the graduation and a lot of crying from the parents' parts, the freshly new graduates were asked where they wanted to go for dinner. When they (plus Dani) yelled nasty Burger Vlad found himself groaning with the Mansons like the rich they were. Surely they could have picked a much more appropriate place to eat besides the godforsaken nasty burger. But Danny was persistent and held his ground and eventually everyone huddled into their cars to drive over to nasty burgers. When everyone was seated the adults made it obvious they much rather be elsewhere.
Well most of them except Jack who thought Nasty Burger was a wonderful idea. It didn’t take long for Sam’s parents to cut from the group when they saw how “ungodly” the food was and told Sam they would see her when she returned home. Jazz had to cut out due to her job and she apologized to her brother. Tucker’s parents were called in and apologized for leaving but they made sure to tell Tucker when he got home his big gift would be waiting for him. It wasn’t long into the waiting for drinks did Vlad enjoy a conversation with Jack and Maddie about their college days.
“Ay yo, Vladdie, you remember when we used to have nasty nacho nights and see who could get down the most without throwing up?” Jack laughed and nudged the much smaller man who almost fell out of his seat. Vlad caught himself and shook his head but he genuinely smiled and rolled his eyes.
“Oh how could I forget how you snorted nacho cheese then proceeded to shove five trays of chips into your mouth. Then you called Madeline to come help you to the bathroom because your brain was clogged.” Vlad twisted his finger on the side of his head like it was clogs. Jack let out a stomach full laugh and Maddie could help but follow along.
“Remember when you drunkenly stood outside Taco Hut Tony’s half naked at 1 am demanding tater tots?” Maddie pointed towards Vlad and the man became flustered in the face as he tried to hide himself. Both of the phantoms spun around from their booths with their mouths dropped and laughing. Vlad groaned and leaned down against the table to cover his head and face. The kids quickly turned back around and he could hear them telling the others.
Jack slapped Vlad’s back which quickly knocked the man forward and out of breath. “Oh man that was crazy and then you started yelling in Russian. To this day I still don’t know what you were saying.” Jack wiped tears from his eyes and Maddie leaned in to make sure only they could hear her.
“He was yelling he would piss on the doors until Tony opened up.” Vlad thought he was surely going to fall over and die. Why in the world would she remember that?! He didn’t even remember that!
“You know Russian?” Vlad peaked up and shot Maddie a look. The red head shrugged and shook her hand sided ways up and down.
“Kinda sort of, my roommate was Ukrainian but her father was Russian. I learned a few things.” Maddie chuckled then turned towards Jack to spark up another conversation about their time in the lab when he made ghost stink bombs. Vlad on the other hand felt his blood run cold as he remembered all the love notes he had placed in her binder. When she found them he would play it cool like it wasn’t him who placed them there and would falsely read them to her. There was no doubt she would give them to her roommate when he wasn’t there to read them. Vlad felt like a schoolboy who had been caught but he didn’t want to confirm that with her. Vlad would just have to swallow that and hope it never got brought up. Vlad was ever so grateful the food finally came even though he did more so at poking at his than eating.
After everyone was full, the family and kids packed up, paid, and headed out towards the parking lot to continue their conversations. Vlad was stuck in a vice grip on Vlad by the neck as the man spun him around doing the very obnoxious college battle call Vlad now grew to hate. Finally, he was let go and Vlad could feel his head spinning as he leaned over his car for balance.
“My apologies V-Man.” Jack gently rubbed his back.
“All is well...I think.” Vlad wasn’t sure if he's seeing double would ever stop or if he was going to have to have someone drive him home. When he regained his vision he felt a tug on his sleeve and turned to see Dani standing beside him. He excused himself from the Fentons and gave Dani his attention and the girl gave a soft smile.
“Can I come home tonight? Danny is going over Tucker’s with Sam and I don’t want to be stuck at home with Jazz trying to use me as a psycho experiment for her upcoming paper, no offence.” the youngest phantom rubbed her elbow and lowered her head and Vlad quickly reached out a hand to place on her shoulder.
“Danielle, you never have to ask to come home. You could have easily gotten in the car with me and I wouldn’t have said a thing.” Vlad rubbed her shoulder and Dani nodded before thanking him and running over to her cousins and telling them she was going home. When it was time to part ways, Maddie and Jack piled into the car with Danny and his friend’s and Dani got in the car with Vlad. As they drove off Dani sighed and looked out the window.“Is everything alright over there?” Vlad asked, never taking his eyes off the road.
“Y-yeah.” Dani mumbled out and Vlad automatically could assume what was the problem.
“I told you, there is nothing to worry about, she shouldn't be anywhere but the guest room when we get home. In the morning I will inform her of your arrival if you wish.” Vlad hoped his words would ease Dani just enough for the teen to trust him and it seemed to work. Dani pulled away from the window and crossed her arms as she thought for a moment then nodded.
“Yeah, that would be cool. Thanks, dad.” Dad...she called him dad again and Vlad's heart fluttered with happiness. When they got home Vlad allowed Dani to walk in first and the young phantom quickly said goodnight and hurried to her room. Vlad took his time to settle in and made his way towards the kitchen back doors. It was late but he had to know whether or not Tayonna was lurking in the garden. When he peered out the door he couldn’t see any form of activity and he quickly floated upstairs to the bedroom hallway. He secretly stuck his head into Dani’s room when he heard her talking on the phone. He found her on her bed throwing a ball in the air and giggling.
He wouldn’t overstay his welcome but he couldn’t help but become curious when he heard her tell someone she loved them. Pulling back into the hallway he knew he would have to get to the bottom of that. He walked down to the guest room and knocked on the door gently and waited for an answer. When he didn’t get one he ghosted through the door and looked around. Tayonna wasn’t there either and that concerned him a bit.
He could go about trying to find her but the pull for sleep was nagging him and he could feel the endless string of yawns airing through his body. He pushed the thought of Tayonna away and went out the door and towards his bedroom. Vlad knew that no matter where she was when he woke up from another dream she would be standing there at his window and he didn’t have to worry. Vlad caught himself in mid-thought and snorted. He felt foolish for almost admitting he looked forward to seeing her.
“She is not a guest that is welcomed, Vladimir, she is a ghost that is haunting you.” Vlad reminded himself as he slipped into his master bathroom for a shower.

Hi!! I love your work sm dude! QwQ Your Running Blind series is legitmately incredible! (It had me crying hadhs) I always get super excited whenever you talk about it or update it, Taking Shots is so creative and funny and sweet just AAGH I love it so much- It is probably my favourite fanfic in this entire fandom. If you are at all taking requests, I would like to ask if you could do an EngieSpy fic with Spy knowing exactly how to get Engie all flustered cus I think that would be cute -w- Ty!
ahgfdsj don’t mind that this took forever,,,, here’s some cheesy cheesy romance ft. a cheesy romantic
(no warnings)
-
Dell Conagher was a 45 year old man. He had more degrees than fingers (including the false ones) and a considerable amount of respect and acclaim in the wide majority of academic communities. And besides that, he made himself a formidable opponent in combat, taking no prisoners and becoming a tactical nightmare to deal with, able to push and direct in a way that others couldn’t do so effectively single-handedly.
So you’d think that there wasn’t much that would leave him flustered, but figures—there were people who could fluster bigshots like him just as much as there were people to fluster your average Joe. Maybe he should consider it a humbling experience, but he was plenty humble already.
What he hated was that it was so predictable of him, the things that made him blush. Nothing unusual—some of the other members of the team had initially assumed from his accent and general demeanor that surely he would balk and blush at more risqué jokes and shenanigans, but he could swear and chuckle just as much as the rest of them. And while he occasionally got fired up over things, he didn’t tend to get hot when he got angry so much as stern and then very much cold.
No, what got him to stammer and make a damn fool of himself was just the thing that not many people had the guts to do to him over the course of his life—goopy, sappy, extremely romantic displays.
Just his luck that he’d fall for a Frenchman.
Part of what got him so flustered—and therefore more frustrated with himself—was the fact that he was smart enough to figure out that it probably took an awful lot of work to do the things Spy did for him. He didn’t know of a good florist in a hundred mile radius of their base, and Spy had ranted about it enough that he’d also gathered there were no particularly good wineries around either. And you probably had to take a class to get as good as Spy at decoration and whatnot, surely, and cooking too. Setting a whole table and room and making a romantic dinner with wine older than his grandad with a whole bouquet as a centerpiece, well, it must’ve taken Spy all day, or, or maybe even weeks of planning and plotting and scheming—
And he tried to dissuade Spy from going to all that trouble, every time he pulled off some stunt like that. Shook his head and called him a sentimental old fool. But it never made Spy’s grin budge, maybe because Spy could tell the comment reflected right back onto the Engineer too. And he didn’t let up.
Instead he walked straight up to the Engineer and took his right hand, bending at the waist and lifting his hand to lay a brief but meaningful kiss on his knuckles, and already Dell was flushing, even before Spy got to the verbal part of his greeting. “Hello, mon cher Monsieur Conagher,” he said, smirking a little.
“I can’t feel that, you know,” he reminded, keeping his voice level and glancing between his gloved hand and Spy’s face.
“Oh? I’d disagree,” Spy purred, and guided him a half step forward before kissing each knuckle in turn one more time in succession. “I’d say you must be feeling something, at least.”
“What makes you say that?” he asked, brows furrowing just a touch.
“Why else would you be so red?” Spy teased, the slightest further uptick at the corner of his mouth, and the Engineer huffed, pulling back his hand and looking away.
“Hush, you,” he muttered, flustered, moreso as that just made Spy laugh.
“Mon cher, don’t tell me this makes you embarrassed,” Spy said, looking well amused by the idea.
“Well, you’re the one making a damn fool of the both of us, right where anyone on the team could see,” Dell pointed out.
Spy raised an eyebrow. “Is this your way of asking me to stop?” he asked.
“Well—yes! It is!” he said, even though a significant portion of him immediately protested.
“Understood,” Spy said, and the word was tailed by a little grin that told him he’d just gotten himself waist-deep in some new kind of trouble.
He waited for the kicker, when Spy did immediately stop with the showy displays of affection and admiration. The punchline ended up showing up relatively quickly in the form of a bouquet in a vase there on a workbench right in the middle of his workshop, unannounced and unprompted, without even a note. But he knew who it was from, even if he had no idea when Spy snuck past his security—or how long Spy had known how to sneak past his security.
And after that first gift, he found others cropping up in similar fashions for a while—most often flowers, and occasionally wine, chocolate, other luxury goods he’d never buy for himself but couldn’t help but be delighted by when he received them as a gift, especially from his lover. They appeared occasionally in his workshop, or sometimes beside the coffee maker (presumably because he tended to be the first one there, the first one awake in the morning). And the one thing he could count himself being lucky about was the fact that Spy didn’t seem to be there to catch how it made him blush, every single time.
He tried to bring it up, when he and Spy were together, and Spy perfectly feigned ignorance and misunderstanding, as well as confusion and amusement. He stopped bringing it up, knowing it wouldn’t get him anywhere.
And then one day, for reasons he didn’t understand, the gifts shifted. He still got roses and flowers, usually just in time to replace the previous bouquet in the vase that had made a home in his workshop (although moved somewhere they would be less of a fire hazard). But less often did he get the wine and chocolates and similar classic romantic fare. Instead he found, occasionally, that he would glance up from his work in the workshop at the clock on the wall, and he would realize he’d worked straight through dinner again, and he’d curse his iron-clad focus for a moment before his eyes fell to the counter below the clock to land on a plate containing a full and well-rounded meal, covered in plastic so as to protect it from sawdust or similar mess.
He found that, suddenly and for reasons he couldn’t immediately explain, he tended to have leftovers waiting, labeled with his name, in the fridge despite him not having put them there. He found the shirt he’d discarded as a lost cause after a bad tear washed and stitched cleanly and sitting on top of his pile of clean laundry. He found a spare set of new laces just when he started to wonder if the ones in his boots needed replacing, and his supply of water bottles he kept near his station to stave off dehydration mysteriously never getting any emptier.
And for some reason that flustered him all the more, because flowers and wine and kisses on the back of the hand were nice, were a lovely display to think of and accomplish. But to be thinking of him so often, to notice such tiny details and to keep on top of them and to fix them—without even saying anything, at that! To notice those things meant that Spy was thinking of him so much more than he expected, than he’d ever feel right expecting, was more than he could ever ask from any partner and it just...
He found himself bringing it up one day, chest filled to the bursting and needing somewhere for it to go. He and Spy were sitting together in the smoking room, and Spy had some album playing—worn enough by then that Dell could just barely understand it well enough to parse out that it wasn’t English. Whatever it was, it was low and soothing and non-distracting and filled the room just as much as the warmth of the fire and the lingering smell of exotic spices from some point in the past.
Stronger was the smell of Spy’s cologne, though, there sat next to him, warm against his shoulder. He couldn’t tell much about what it was that Spy was reading, just that it looked to be a play of some kind based on the spacing of phrases, and that it was in Russian. He was sure his own reading was probably significantly less interesting, just being the order form for the next month’s shipment of parts that he needed to parse through.
Easy to get distracted from, was a way he could refer to it. Easy to stop thinking about it and to instead think about the man leaning against him.
“Spy?” he asked softly.
“Hm?” Spy hummed, looking up from his book.
“Why do you keep doing things for me?”
“I’m sure I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Spy smirked.
“I’m being serious,” Dell said, voice still quiet.
Spy’s expression didn’t so much fall as it did relax. “Are you?” he asked. “Isn’t it obvious?”
When Dell just frowned, Spy deigned to elaborate.
“I do these things because I care about you, mon cher,” he said simply. “To make you happy, because I want you to be happy, because I care about you and you deserve to be happy. If I’m not doing a good job, correct me so I can do better.”
“It’s not that,” he said quickly, and hesitated. “I just, I don’t understand—“
“—What, why I care? Why you deserve to be happy?” he asked outright, and maybe that was it. Maybe that really was all. And maybe it showed on his face. “Laborer, have you considered that your reluctance to accept my gifts and acts of appreciation are because you’re uncomfortable with the idea of someone holding you to such high value in such a real and tangible way?”
“I—I don’t—that’s—“ he stammered, face going red.
“That perhaps others caring about and valuing you has been either a distant dream or something you imagined to be a reality because you needed the morale to get through the day, and now your mind and emotions are significantly freed up and you don’t quite know what to do with yourself, which is something both new and intimidating for you, someone who always tries to be so in control of your own life?”
“Why the sudden psychoanalysis?” he managed, feeling more than a little bit tense.
“Because I have a feeling you intended for this conversation to be your asking me to not do things for you because you feel you don’t deserve them, and quite frankly I’m stubborn enough that you will never change my mind,” Spy said, and leaned in to kiss him, an ice pack on a sucker punch, startling and disorienting and...
And nice.
When Spy pulled back, he seemed to see the disorientation, and he smiled. “It’s alright that you don’t know what to do yet. It’s alright if you never know. I simply enjoy doing these things for you, as often as I can without treading on your toes or making you feel smothered.”
“You never do,” Dell assured with the part of his brain that was still functioning.
Spy kissed him on the cheek gently. “You are very sweet, Dell Conagher,” he said simply.
“Me? You’re the one who—“
“Shush,” Spy laughed, and gave him another peck. “Just accept that making you happy is what makes me happy, oui? Is that such a strange thing to ask?”
“It feels like it,” Dell admitted.
“Well, perhaps the millionth time I say it, it won’t,” Spy teased.
“You’ll say that a million times?” he asked, incredulous.
“I’ll say it as many times as you’ll tolerate. I’ll say it on the hour every day until you get entirely tired of me or die, whichever comes first—or perhaps at the exact same moment. I’ll learn every language on the planet and say it in each and every one until you can repeat it back to me fluently. Because, mon cher, I mean it, and when I mean something, there isn’t a soul on the planet who can stop me from making it absolutely clear that I mean it, not even the person I love most in the world and his ridiculous, skewed lack of ego. Do you understand?”
The Engineer kissed him, and kissed him, and kissed him, and yeah, he understood. He really did. And maybe Spy was right—maybe he would believe it someday. Maybe someone that stubborn was the only type of person who could convince him.
Time would tell.

Iwudhwjskwkjs I loved your last post and I just exploded with uwus. If you don't mind me asking, Aizawa's daughter reacting to her dad getting beat up by the noumu? Sorry, you're writing is just GODLY
hello aaaa thank you uwu i'm glad you liked iiiitttt!!! i hope you like this next one qwq
Tumblr media
as a ua student you were excited the most about the trainings with all the pro heroes teaching in the academy
especially you get to train with your dad the entire time wHICH you think is ur advantage as someone who's been under his wing for their entire life
sO when you get to USJ for your first rescue training you were like :0000 because how is the facility soooo huge you could get lost playing hide and seek there :000 but also you were like ooo this amazing for my capture weapon training
you were prACTICALLY bouncing in your place clutching on your weapon while waiting for your dad and thirteen to finish talking
then sUDDENLY a black shadowy thing materialized at the center of the facility
as soon as those villains emerged from the shadow your dad went and flew to the center immediately!!!
when you saw him jump you almost ran after him if not for midoriya and iida stopping you
there'd been a debate on whether what you guys should do
you didnt even notice that the shadow man was already behind all of you!!! after bakugou and kirishima attacced the hecc out of the man you all were enveloped in a dark shadowy dome
next thing you know you're on the yacht with midoriya, tsu, and mineta
you felt panic rush through you as you assess the situation
you and your classmates are scattered around the facility
the only pro heroes around as of the moment are thirteen and eraserhead
thirteen is at the entrance with the rest of your classmates
eraserhead, your dad, is facing the villains alone in the center
ALONE!!! that had you sweating bullets and just plain !!! !!!
but that shouldnt be your problem now, right? you have villains right in front of you too, you have to fend for yourself too!!!!
you couldn't help worry, still
even after the four of you defeated the villains in the water, your mind was still occupied with thoughts of your dad fighting the villains and how you want to help him
which is why when midoriya said he wanted to help him, you were like "YES HELP HIM LET'S DO IT"
as you emerge from the water after sneaking around, he was already almost done with the villains, slamming one to the floor
and tHEN
this one guy with hands for a face charged at him and had the aUDACITY to dodge your dad's attacks >:((((
and it got you so worried you swore you were peeing in the water
but your dad didnt back down so he ELBOWED the man which made you feel really !!! :DDD THATS MY DADDDDD
the moment his hair fell back on his face, his elbow started,,, disintegrating,,,
you didnt even notice the man's hand on his elbow as it all went too fast. his elbow started cracking and crumpling and it made you sICK in the stomach. SICK.
still, even with his elbow practically decaying he still fought
you wanted to jump in so bad!!! because!!! that's your dad!!! the man who raised you!!! you hated!!! see him like this :(((( your chest felt like it could burst and you couldnt hear anything else around you
until
a huge humanoid specimen came out from behind aizawa
the creature smashed your dad's head into the concrete multiple times like one would do to a ragdoll
he was treating your dad like some squish toy and it's!!! making your blood boil and your stomach turn
and every sound it makes is making you feel nothing but worry, fear, anger, and anxiety fold upon fold upon fold
you didnt even feel your legs sprint towards the scene, your fist balled up and ready to throw a punch at the creature
you also didnt hear your classmates' and your dad's call for your name just when the creature had backhanded you across the plaza, right before you blacked out
the next thing you know you were in recovery girl's clinic as you only suffered a concussion and a few broken bones. nothing she couldn't fix, is what she called them
your dad, however, was sent to the hospital after sustaining rather,,, well,,, extreme injuries
you were told to go to school the next day
and so you did. your classmates weren't exactly avoiding you, just weren't tryna initiate a conversation which you thank them for because you wouldn't want to talk anyway
when the bell for homeroom, aka iida, sounded you were still zoning out
suddenly the whole class went !!! aizawa sensei?!?!?!?!!!!
and you were like ohhh aizawa- wAIT WHAT
you shot up from your seat and was ready to bolt towards him but he looked at you (even if he couldn't because he has bandages over his eyes) with a stare that said "sit down, we'll talk later"
right after his homeroom announcements he called you out to the hallway
as soon as you two were outside you immediately (but carefully) wrapped your arms around him and cRIED
you went "you had me so worried!!! i was right there when he was beating you up and i swear all i could hear at that moment was the sound of your head colliding with the ground and i felt so scared and anxious i thought i could lose you that moment ;(((((("
when you finished he did nothing but place his chin on top of your head and mumble "i know, little demon. it's part of my job as a hero"
"wELL you could be a hero and not get hurt by some big fat nasty looking creature ;(((("
all he could do was chuckle at your statement, reaching for you with what looks like an attempt to pat your head. "i had to be beaten up to protect you, little demon. it's not like you wouldn't do the same for me"
after ur dad recovered you were still on edge everytime he goes on patrol, when he comes home every night he sees you in your dining area waiting for him anxiously.
as soon as you see him, you come to him and check him for any injuries be it minor or not
and everytime he thinks to himself "man this little one's gonna age pretty fast if she keeps worrying"
but he's super thankful, he knows you're looking out for him
and you best believe he thinks you're going to be the greatest hero
definitely not biased
don't tell bakugou about that

Ashido Mina(BNHA)- Spring Flowers
Tumblr media
A/N: I know that this is way earlier than the time I’m supposed to post this but I will be in an examination hall at that time so I decided to post it now uwu this is the fic I wrote for @bakuismybitch for the @/bnhaclaimedmysoul spring time event^^ sorry that I haven’t been messaging you as much as I should and that this falls short comparing to my other stuff, I kinda overestimated my ability to balance life qwq
Description: you might not be able to go out to enjoy spring as you want to but Mina is determined to bring spring to you.
Word count: 1735
When quarantine was first announced, Mina had expected that she would be the one badly hit by all this. She was the energetic one in this duo, the one that couldn’t go a day without being around other people and the one who wants to go out. If one of you would go insane because of being trapped inside he confines of your house, she could almost bet on her last existing brain cells that it would be her.
And oh boy was she wrong.
At first, you seemed to be rather indifferent by all this. “It would be fine,” you had said when her hands flailed around while she whined about how long it would be until you could do all the things you liked to do again, “there are plenty of things we can do while being inside!” You were the one who would make her get up early in the morning despite no longer having a schedule because you read that maintaining your regular habits was good for the mind. There were pages of home workout videos and craft tutorials on the search history of you browser, she was still astonished that you managed to find so many different way to sew puppets out of old socks. You had took upon yourself to make something different for lunch every single day and she had to practically beg you to stop baking after having sourdough for a week consecutively because you wanted to test out all sorts of recipes and fresh bread doesn’t last long. So, which she would now scold herself for being so stupidly optimistic but didn’t know any better at that point, she was truly convinced that the only issue you would have is the eventually shortage of space to accommodate all your creations that spawned from your boredom.
She knew that something was wrong the moment she woke up one morning and saw that it was way past the time you would usually wake her up at. It was a gradual change, but the more she picked up on your wilting spirit the more concerned she was. Lunch started repeating, you nearly forgot to feed your starter one week until she asked about the little jar of dough in your fridge, you started breaking ramen into pieces and call it a snack. She could see you physically spiraling down and it was very worrying to witness.
The breaking point when she realised that she had to step in and pull you back was when she walked out of the room one night and saw you wrapping yourself under a cocoon made out of blankets with a nutella jar in your hand, your eyes an empty void as you stared at the glowing television. No lights on, no anything, just the pale light from the screen shining on your face and making you look so souless. Mina’s eyes travelled back and forth between your still frame and the television. Why were you watching the weather channel at 1?
“...Are you ok?”
No response, you didn’t even move. Gingerly, she climbed onto the couch next to you and gave your shoulder a light poke. “(y/n)?"
Nothing, not even a budge. You jumped when she called for your name again, this time louder and with a bit of a squeak to her voice. Clumsily, clutching the jar that nearly dropped, you coughed in embarrassment. “Oh, mina,” you chuckled almost too stiffly that it sounded more like a huff, “you’re still awake?”
“Yeah...” she narrowed her eyes, “what are you doing?”
“Ah, you see,” you put down the jar of chocolate spread, pilling the blanket away from your body as you gave your nose a light scratch before continue, sounding almost way too matter-of-factly considering how eerie this all was, “I was thinking that since we can’t go out, maybe I’ll imagine what it is like everywhere else to make it remind myself of what spring looks like.”
All the little cogwheels that had been spinning and spinning in her mind finally clicked into place when she realised what all of this was about. Spring, yes, it was spring already. She didn’t even remember that it was already a good quarter into the year with how long she had been staying in but you sure did. You had always thrived during spring, something about the smell of grass in the humid air and the warmth that was seeping back from the winter cold always put you in a constant good mood. So the fact that this bit of joy was no longer available had put you in a slump that you were sinking deeper and deeper into made total sense.
“Guess I should go to bed now,” you said nonchalantly, as if you weren’t staring at a slow motion shot of a random place in the world like a zombie just mere seconds ago. You collected the half-finished jar of nutella and hoisted the blanket in your arms, looking at your very dazed girlfriend like she was the one who was doing something weird, “You coming?”
“Yeah,” Mina said as she scurried up, thinking of what she could possibly do to stop you from finding comfort in the weather channel, “yeah.”
You woke up to the sound of pots banging and cabinet doors slamming shut, a squeal mixing in between at times. Your foggy morning mind was telling you to go back to bed, that you did not have the energy to handle whatever it was that your girlfriend was up to. But just as you were about to flip onto your other side and take up the now spared up vacancy on your luring mattress, a sharp screech followed by a series of profanities made every hair at the back of your neck stood up. You sighed, no longer feeling even an ounce of sleepiness and rolled so you were facing the ceiling.
You needed to go check if she is alive, didn’t you?
Poking your head from the door, you could see Mina carefully pinching a piece of bread with the very tip of her thumb and index finger. She was almost flinging it into the pan before quickly retreating her hand as fast as she could. The sizzling echoed through the kitchen and you watched as she poked the bread with the spatula with caution.
“Mina?” You tilted your head when she snapped her head up, yellow eyes widening when she saw your confused face, “What are you doing?”
She didn’t say anything so you looked past her shoulders to look at what’s in the frying pan. If anything, your confusion had only grown. The bread was soggy, the edges browning and sticking to the bottom of the pan. There were clear stains of what was put in there before left around the bottom, some already starting to burn into black char.
“Mina what are you making?” You asked and your girlfriend scratched the back of her neck rather sheepishly.
“This was supposed to be a surprise,” she said, “I was gonna make you breakfast.”
“Aw that’s so sweet!” You cooed and then you finally connected the dots of what she was trying to do deconstructing the kitchen so early in the morning, “Is this... French toast?”
“Yeah!” She chirped, literally scratching at the pan to flip the frying toast and it made your heart ache at how it was likely that you were to say goodbye to that pan after this, “Is it not obvious?”
You blinked, not having the heart to tell her that you would have no clue if you simply stare at the pile of burned bread that was placed on a plate. “Did you add any butter to the pan?” You asked, referring to the burn that stuck to the pan.
“...you need to do that?”
You chuckled, “Do you need help?”
“What? No!” She flailed her hands in the air as she tried to push you out of the kitchen, “Just chill around and wait for the food! This is about you, I don’t want you to even lift a finger!”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes!” She exclaimed, shooing you out of the kitchen, “It’ll be done in a few.”
“Ok,” you said rather skeptically, “just... call for me if you need anything.”
It didn’t take long for you to hear another groan from the kitchen and for Mina to weakly beckon you for help. You laughed, knowing exactly that this was bound to happen.
With a good square of butter in the pan and some relentless scraping later, you had the plates of toast on the table with a generous amount of syrup on top. You eyed Mina curiously when she didn’t sit down, running around the house and grabbing the computer in her hand.
“Mina what are you doing now?” You said, almost not sure if you find this amusing or confusing.
“You see,” she said as she turned on the computer, “I know that you like spring and you’re sad that we don’t get to experience the season, so I decided to do something fun and have a picnic indoors!”
You snorted when she pulled up a picture of the lily fields at a nearby park and placed it right by the table. A gif of butterflies on her phone which she carefully steadied with a mug. “You know how those youtubers like to use have a fake fireplace in their backdrop?” She said, seemingly pleased with her little set up, “I figured we can do the exact same thing but with flowers.”
This whole thing was a bit funny, if you were being honest but warmth bubbled up inside of you at the thought of Mina going out of her way just to make things a little bit more enjoyable for you. You laughed when she lined up your sock muppets and arranged them in a circle, going as far as to putting an empty cup in front of them.
“What is a picnic without friends?” She winked as she poured out a glass of orange juice for you. Raising her glass, you grinned at how hard she was trying to put on her serious face.
“Cheers to spring?”
You smiled. The glowing screen might not even come close to the real thing, but you still felt the fresh giddiness that the spring flowers would always bring you.
“Cheers to spring.”

“ You are important! ”
Hello! How's everybody? Well, this is a One-Shot Cryptane (Crypto x Octane) This "little" story is dedicated to @localcrypto! I hope you like it and you too! <3
Crypto narrates:
After my last duet with Octane, his fan club was full of people praising him. I didn't like being around a lot of people, but I'd also like them to admire me as they admire him, after all, it's not news that they call me the "weirdo" Ttong, I'm seeing him again, somehow I feel really weird when I'm with him, maybe because I almost killed him in the second season, I don't know what to think anymore!
He was doing autographs, he looks so happy to have so many people around him, so carefree, that he must be careful with people he doesn't know ... Wait, am I worrying about him? Hell, I must admit I really like it, it's weird to feel this ..
Tomorrow we have another duo, I should rest and see if my drone is not damaged, my room was close, it gives me baes-sog-e nabi every time I see how TitanFall 2 plays, I am really crazy.
We were already in the transport, he sat next to me, I was not surprised that we were the champions, he was playing with his butterfly knife while he examined my drone a little. It was about time, I decided that we would fall in the epicenter. We managed to kill several teams, I was the kill leader, Octane was very excited and we decided to calm down a bit by climbing that little tower.
Octane: You are not taking this as a joke, amigo!
Joke? I will not break my ribs again like in my first game.
Crypto: I don't, w-well, not if I take it seriously ..
Octane wanted to answer, but a shot brought us back to planet earth, hell ... They had a kraber! We have no snipers to defend ourselves, I took out my drone and started searching.
Shit, it was Wraith and Wattson! What I was missing ... I did not like fighting with Wattson since she was very kind to me, also not with Wraith since he scares me..!
This is possible? How come they both have a kraber? My head was no longer for questions. They did not know the presence of the drone, so I could hear a bit of their conversation.
Wraith: I already have them trapped, they don't try to attack since I don't hear voices...
Wattson: I would not like to kill them mon amour.. but we have to win this game.
Wraith: You know I love you, but I won't be able to focus if you keep calling me like that ..
Wattson: Call you what? Mon Amour? Uh, I think I found your weak point, belle.
I made the drone come back quickly, I didn't want to hear that conversation, I feel nervous and embarrassed ..
Crypto:  We cant win against them! they are good equiped. . . ANd yOu OnlY havE a MozaMbique with a haMmERpOint!!
Octane: I wanted to give it a try!
We start laughing like idiots, it seems that we have a good "friendship" ..
Crypto: Uh, changing the subject, I have to ask you something...
Octane: I'm all ears, amigo!
Crypto: How do you get people to love you? How do you have so many fans? I wish you also have a little time to spend together.
Hell, that ending came out alone ..
Octane: Cryp, you just have to be yourself, you are important to me, you are my duo..!
I can't believe it, is Octane the one saying this? I underestimated it a bit..
Crypto: Sesang-e..
Wraith and Wattson: Throwing grenades!
Crypto: . . .
Octane: OH SHIT!
"The champion has been eliminated .."
We appeared in the lobby, hell, I did not expect that to happen ... I looked at Octane, he was with a laugh on his face, after all if he was funny and we laughed again like complete idiots.
I looked at him with a smile, he took off his mask and hat and he returned the smile... he approached me and patted my shoulder.
Octane: Joder! Those girls are beasts! I didn't think we'd lose... well, you want to go get some ice cream? I know an ice cream parlor where they make them in the shape of a rabbit.
Crypto: I would like..
Now I should be paying attention to my classes, but it's Cryptane! i can't say no to Cryptane.
I liked how the truth ended, I wanted to give @localcrypto some credit for giving me the idea to write it! I can only say thank you for reading and for your support! qwq

The dog piece was bakugo was too sad qwq plss pretend fix with the pupper growing close to reader perhaps only acting as a guard dog to the reader or possibly lots of angst where reader does stay away from them until the pupper gets some i love reader juicee
My love for pitbulls,,, is even greater,,, then my need to answer requests,,, I can not change who I am and I do not intend to (here’s a link to the first part, by the way).
Three months. That was how long you lasted.
Princess grew steadily, eating as much as Katsuki would let her and tearing through the apartment on a daily basis, sleeping at the foot of your bed every night and going to Katsuki’s agency during the day, quickly becoming a favorite among his fans (according to the letters he’d proudly read to her, anyway). She was never hostile, never growling and hardly barking, even if she was a menace to anything stuffed and low enough for him to reach. Katsuki wasn’t nearly as strict of a trainer you would’ve expected, only teaching her basic commands (sit, lie down, attack, etc…) and spoiling her whenever he got the opportunity. Her custom, plush-lined collar was proof of that, as far as you were concerned.
You didn’t know whether to be jealous of him or her, sometimes. You envied how much attention he lathered on her, not making Princess beg and plead for the slightest bit of autonomy. She was allowed to go outside, to see other people, to be more of a human than you were. Similarly, you wanted to be part of Princess’ life, if only to have another living, breathing creature around who didn’t treat you like a piece of glass. She was always so close, staring at you so often and so sweetly, you wondered if you could just reach over and pet her, if only for a second.
Then Katsuki would say something, or nudge you, or make it clear that you weren’t the one making the rules, and you never would be. No, you’d always be stuck obeying him.
Then again, Katsuki wasn’t always home, either.
It’d been one of those days, when Katsuki woke up feeling crazier then he usually did, pulling out your old tether and insisting on locking you up in the master-bedroom until he got home. The remote for Katsuki’s flat-screen was left out of your reach, and you could only read for so long until the words began to blur together. Eventually, you were left to lie on your stomach, lamenting your situation while staring at the open door.
You hadn’t realized Princess was left at home, not until she wandered into the open doorway, sniffing and wagging her tail, eager to find one of the toys she’d left somewhere around the house. When she saw you, she paused, sitting and panting in your general direction.
“I’m not allowed to pet you,” You grunted, voice muffled by the comforter. “Bakugo says you’ll bite me.”
Princess, once again, wagged her tail.
“But, Bakugo isn’t home.”
Her ears perked up, and she tilted her head to the side.
“And you’re not going to go away, are you?”
She didn’t.
It was over by the time she jumped on the bed, licking at your face while you laughed, trying to push her away playfully, which only resulted in more licking, which just meant you had to play with her… and scratch her ears, and kiss her little black nose, and let her cuddle into your chest, because Katsuki wouldn’t approve of letting you move an eighty-pound sack of clinginess and adorability. Instead, you did the safe thing, letting her curl up at your side, lazily petting over her fur until you found your eyes closing, falling asleep as she did.
In comparison, your awakening hadn’t been nearly as peaceful.
Your eyes shot open abruptly, a hand pulling you out of your impromptu nap and shoving you against the mattress, Katsuki holding down your wrists as you writhed and kicked instinctually, Princess whining at the disruption, pawing lightly at her owner’s back. If he noticed, he didn’t care, glaring so fiercely, you flinched back when he exhaled.
“I tell you not to do one thing,” He mumbled, his voice so low, you could barely hear him. It was more for himself than for you, his anger already damn-near tangible. Your wrists cracked under his grip, his gantlets the only part of his hero-costume he’s bothered taking off. You’d almost forgotten how much that mask scared you. Almost. “Everything I do is to protect you, do you know that? I’m out there, fighting villains every day to make sure they don’t find and hurt you, but apparently, you can’t even stay away from something dangerous in your own home.”
You shook your head, still partially disoriented. “Bakugo, I-”
“Princess could’ve attacked you! Sure, she’s alright now, but you could’ve provocked her! She’s still a puppy!”
You pursed your lips. The dog who he seemed so afraid was currently whimpering and nosing at his side, just trying to stop him from being so loud. “She’s perfectly-”
“I’m doing this to keep you safe, but maybe I should start dragging you to my agency on a leash, too. I try to leave you unsupervised for one day, and you broke my trust the moment I turned my back-”
“Bakugo!” You were the one to cut him off, this time, balling your hands into fists. Trying to present yourself as his equal was only getting harder, these days. Reluctantly, Katsuki shut the hell up, scowling but staying quiet, much to your relief. Still, you didn’t let yourself relax. “Look at me. Really closely, now. What do you see?”
He looked confused, for a moment, his answer coming carefully after he scanned over you. “...nothing?”
You released a breath you didn’t know you were holding in, letting yourself sink into the mattress. This time, you dared to met Katsuki’s eyes, not backing down when he bared his teeth. “Exactly. Nothing. We were home together all day, and the worst thing she did was tear a hole in one of your shoes.”
“Fuck, the nice ones?” He released you, reflexively, throwing a glare in Princess’ general direction before turning back to you, watching with a piercing gaze as you pushed yourself up, hiding behind a stern frown and crossed arms. Neither of you spoke, for a minute, just staring in a silent, tense stand-off. It was an improvement to the screaming matches the two of you used to have, but not by much.
Katsuki was the first to relent, waving a hand, letting Princess past him. The puppy didn’t hesitate, lapping at your face while she checked over you, eventually returning to Katsuki’s side, finally greeting the Hero with all the enthusiasm she usually did. “A few guys at work wanted to train her to search people, or tackle criminals,” He sighed, grudgingly giving her a light pat. “The goddamn softie would let them go for a treat, though. We couldn’t even get her to bite the trainer they brought in.”
You forced yourself to smile, but there wasn't much else you could do. There wasn’t much you were able to do.
Katsuki was the one who made the rules.
You just had to obey.

Idk, I never posted one of my fics here but guess I'll try ~
Also, English is not my first language so feel free to correct me QwQ
Fandom: Psycho-Pass -season 1- (is this still a thing?)
Characters: Kogami Shinya, Sasayama Mitsuru, OC
Prompt (it was in Italian, so I'll translate): write a story using three among these words: cloud, dusk, thunderstorm, storm, hull, bay, shelter, sail, night
Title: Log date: 2110/02/28 (Friday) 22:04
---
The lights of the bay flicker dynamically before your eyes.
They dance hypnotically, of the same cyan colour of your office’s walls, but with a whole different beat. They drink the red and white trails from the traffic, they shatter and multiply in the tears of an inclement rain. I know how much you hate it, you just can’t stand going on recon with an umbrella. On the other hand, I love it.
Rain brings us close together under the waterproof cloth and I manage to observe details that neon lights often hide from me: the precise way you part your hair, the last few drops of the jasmine perfume on your jacket, your long lashes. Shion thinks they’re fake. We always fight over it, can you believe me?
After all, you’ve never been the kind of woman to wear such frills.
A notification arrives, the acid light of your impalpable PC breaks through the sacred dark from where you pretend you don’t see me. It digs your silhouette and paints you like a ghost on the huge windows of the Public Safety Bureau.
Your jet-black hair lay on your back like varnish pouring over the white silk of your blouse.
“Pulling an all-nighter, Inspector Matou?” I ask casually, exposed. With you, after all, I always am: you’re the only one that can shush my shitty jokes.
But this time you laugh slightly: nothing more than a spike, a trembling breath that shakes your ribs and lips.
“The forecasts say that the storm won’t stop until tomorrow morning,” you tell me, sitting at your desk, “also, I’ve been delaying this paperwork through all week, it's about time I get it done. Might as well do some overtime and get rid of it, don’t you think?”
“You’re such a workaholic.” I label you, realizing how lucky I am being allowed to do it: Ginoza, that prude, would have never let it slide “You should leave some for the rest of the precinct: make 'em earn their wages.”
A tired smile crosses your face as you tap your fingers on the keyboard. It’s so clear you’re trying to avoid my glance.
You used to look for it.
You looked for my eyes at briefings, in that discrete way that eventually shocked everyone. You looked for them among alleys, as soon as you heard a gunshot or the chocked sound of a fight.
And when you found me, it felt like a 7 miles free fall.
“How are the legs going?” I dare to ask. I see the hollow structure of your new shins below the hem of your pencil skirt. They swing a bit underneath the glass of your desk. You didn’t lose your damn tic, your right heel shakes like the needle of a sewing machine even when you seem calm.
You shrug and drink the bottom of an already empty glass of water.
I shouldn’t have asked. It breaks my heart, to see you like this.
You don’t give me an answer and massage the back of your knee with a sigh. Lately, I feel like you’re avoiding me.
You’re turning back into the one you were before: uncompromising, cold and distant. I wonder if the bunch of ingrates downstairs have been calling you Dobermann again. I wonder if you’re still as relentless.
You worry me: your stress level is getting darker and darker. You don’t want old Kasei to take issues with you, not again.
I can imagine how you must have felt, the night when this mess happened.
You most likely got pissed, if I do know you.
I mean, did they really think I got away on my own? I bet you never doubted me: no one knows an Enforcer better than its Inspector.
“Runaway?! Have you lost your minds?” Sasayama?!”
Those were the first words you said when they rescued you. You spoke them way before cleansing your lungs from the rotten water of the river, way before asking Masaoka if you’d have ever got back to feeling your lower legs. They hurt like hell and you had to pull them around like sandbags.
“They got him” you panted, holding tight on your mentor’s coat “They took him away, I tell you!” The one that kidnapped him wasn’t a latent criminal. The Dominator didn’t activate, not even when they shot me. Please, believe me. Check on the log files, please.”
Crime coefficient: 0.
I know that bug still haunts you.
Cause, after all, it’s can’t be anything else: who on earth is that Makishima to fly under the Sibyl Sistem’s radar? Who can fool a network that knows your crimes before you do? And how is it possible that the silhouette that kneecapped you and threw you into a river could possibly be innocent?
You haven’t lost your mind, Inspector: the Dominator betrayed me, too.
Don’t think I don’t know how pitiful must have been, the next three days.
Makishima isn’t real. Forget it, it was just a delirium. You were in shock.
It was the trauma, dear. It was a breakdown. It was burnout syndrome.
You’d use some holiday, darling. Take a week. Take two. Go somewhere far, no, better: just stay at home. Go to therapy. Keep yourself busy, don’t think about it. Work. Also, don’t work: it wears you out!
They put you back on your feet in less than six hours, but nobody allowed you to join search parties. Heaven forbid your stress level getting any darker. Heaven forbid that yet another good Inspector gets demoted among those damn Enforcers. But, still, in the whole IT section, there wasn’t a single nerd that could get that night's logs. That's one funny thing, ain't it?
Woman, sometimes I wish your damn head wasn't that hard. I wish you didn't follow the Forensics to get a lift, so soon after the deed.
At least, you could have listened to Kogami. Shit, didn't you see how pale he was? You didn't even need the Dominator to read him, his stress level was mindblowing!
You should have believed him when he told you you didn't want to enter that alley. First off, it was already full of other detectives and analysts. I have no idea what kind of business you had to do in there. Second thing second, Kogami has an eye for certain matters. Do you think he didn't notice I’ve always been all over you? Not gonna lie, maybe I told him about you, once or twice.
But no, of course, you had to get in.
The software that taught you how to walk on those carbon stilts made you stand your ground and bark a "For fuck's sake, Shinya, move!" worthy of the Dobermann’s reputation. Even those who hadn't been called out made way.
But your new legs didn't hold you, when you saw what they had made of my corpse.
I'm sorry, Katsumi, I never wanted to upset you like that.
You know how much I would have rather have a more heroic death. I don't know, like, in the middle of a shooting, saving the day. It would have been much classier, less tacky, less trash. I think I deserved it, that's all.
You stop typing and rub your temples. You shelter what’s left of your lipstick behind your hand. I wish I could kiss it off, instead of watching you consume it in a ruby red halo in the notch between your thumb and your index.
You lift your eyes only for Kogami, who’s passing by your office like a nurse in its night shift.
“So?” he asks in a whisper, putting more care in that question than I could have ever done. More than anybody could have ever done, because he’s the only one that gets you, right now. You two seem like the only ones who lost something.
You shake your head slowly, staring at the monitor and the dangerously high Crime Coefficient on the display.
“It's not working” you wail softly, misty-eyed. I can’t believe it, is it still you?
“They’re gonna kick me out anyway, if it doesn’t lower quickly” you continue, with that realism of yours. I used to call you a jinx for that but, at the end of the day, you always got our backs. “It’s for the best if I just resign. I’m gonna keep what's left of my dignity, at least.”
The dark profile of my best friend looks through me, as he sits on the armchair next to mine. He would like to say something, a word of encouragement maybe, we all know it in this damn room, but numbers shut our mouths.
“You could become an Enforcer” he proposes.
Goddammit, Shinya, did we work with the same person? Katsumi as an Enforcer?
And there you go, shaking your head. You hold your face in your hands and let your raven hair hide your visage.
“Can you imagine me, following orders? I do know how to work, I can do it better than three-quarters of our colleagues and I’ve never had problems remarking it. They’d eat me alive if they had the chance. Dogs celebrate on the corpses of lions.”
“But lions remain lions and dogs stay dogs.” Kogami finishes, stealing my lines.
I notice the slight trembling of your finger, as you tap your touchpad to send that last confirm.
In a few moments, the system will have your resignation registered. Your profile won’t unlock your Dominator anymore and in a few days time, just enough for you to collect your belongings, you won’t even manage to enter the office.
Who’s gonna explain to old Kasei that there's more of your stuff here than in your apartment?
I’d ask you what do you plan on doing with your life, but tonight’s decision seems definitely brave enough to call it a day.
I look at the tabs you open in your browser, they mirror in the windows behind you.
Air travel.
Argentina, Cuba, States, New Zealand, Germany, Kenya. You go around the world in 80 seconds flat, you multiply your chances and spread them all through the air in front of you, in a complex diagram that doesn’t lead anywhere.
I never wanted to take you away from your home, you don’t deserve this.
You cover your eyes with a hand and use the other one to pick a random selection from your atlas.
Greece.
“Well, at least it’s on the sea.” you wrap up, condensing in a handful of words the only satisfaction you can find in starting a brand new life.
You two stare at the transparent screenshot of your flight, the countdown on the web page seems way too joyful.
“It’s so exciting, Katsumi Matou! Check-in your luggage. Your journey will begin in: 06 days: 17 hours: 34 minutes: 21 seconds”
20.
19.
18.
Seconds pass by, in complete silence.
“Do you think it would be a burden to him?” you ask Shinya, “Do you think he’d understand?”
Who would have guessed that a cynic one like yourself could believe in the afterlife? I wish I were here to ask you. I wish we could have spoken about life, death, sex, about things long gone and things yet to be.
His hand squeezes yours gently, as he looks at you in the eye, hoping to stop the train to Paranoidland from setting off.
“It’s not your fault” he reassures you as he can: the both of you wouldn’t make the average person’s empathy.
But he’s right, though, it really isn’t: I know you’ve done anything you could. It’s always been like that.
“Maybe I owe him” you draft “Even if they don’t believe in Makishima, maybe one day I could have proved he exists.”
The teal of your Psycho-Pass would suit you wonderfully, if it wasn’t a description of your mental health.
What could you possibly do in these conditions? You’d have ended up in a cubicle, filing loss and theft reports. You would have never made it to the dossiers, surely not to those of such a controversial case. Making you end up in a study room would have been my final bullshit. I’m happy with your choice, really. I would have loved visiting Europe someday.
“Don’t talk nonsense.” Kogami rebukes you, externalizing what I’ve been thinking all along: “I’m going to look out for your man: your team has already given way too much. I’m gonna find him, Matou, cold case or not.”
You nod, but it’s clear you don’t believe him. I can read through you, you’re a terrible liar.
I don’t think you don’t trust him, most likely you’ve done the math and figured that working on an independent case is far too difficult for an Inspector, let alone for an Enforcer.
And there it is, my fall. After an exhausting chase, you finally look into my eyes, even though -according to Shinya- you’re most likely staring at the void.
Despite being used to such races, believe me, I’ve missed you.
“I’m just so sorry.” you finally whisper, giving me a bitter smile.
Try and stop me, Ginoza, tell me once again how inappropriate it is: I don’t mind anymore. I get up and I don’t hesitate while holding you and leaving a kiss on your hair, shamelessly.
“I’m going to grab some coffee” I announce, walking backwards to the door like a shrimp, just to look at my dearest friends a bit longer. “I’d get you one, but I’m short on coins. Maybe next time.”
“See you, Inspector.”, Kogami greets you, leaving alongside me.
“Be good.” you wave back, as we were all to meet again tomorrow.
Walking through the dark alley, I can hear an excerpt from our last conversation through the opaque glass of your office.
“You’re jerk, Sasayama!”
I can hear you laughing out loud, through the crackly recording. You laughed at my gall, with that warm, strong, sweet voice of yours, mocking me. Admit it: mine, after all, were the only compliments that could make you blush.
It’s incredible how we managed to joke even inside a car that was taking us on a crime scene. To an external eye, we might have looked disrespectful. Truth is I’ve always feared death so much I just had to laugh at the reaper.
“Oh, come on, what would it take? Come with me to the Precinct’s New Year’s dinner, the 17th is around the corner!” I kept annoying you, as you were too busy driving to mind my dumb flirt attempts. I still can’t get how we never had an accident. “Be good, Katsumi, give me a joy to live for!”
“You could always ask Shion, you know? You always give her more attention, after all.”
I hear the subtle sound of the wheels stopping, the parking brake cracking and it’s like Ogishima’s outskirts appear before my eyes, in that same January night. That place gave me goosebumps, but I would have hated if you understood it.
“Here we are” you announced, with still a bit of resentment in your voice. You unlocked the passenger’s door and I remember I left your Dominator in the car’s trunk: I didn’t want you to follow me. Not that time.
“You scare me when you pay so much attention” you commented, noticing how serious I got “will you tell me why are you insisting so much to keep on searching? Kogami got the guy. Tomorrow we go, we arrest him and it's thank you, next.”
My answer has been recorded as a distant and muffled noise, but I still can trace it: “He’s not the one, I tell you. I have another suspect, but I need a more solid base. And you’re staying, Inspector.”
“Staying?! You’ve gone crazy!” you laughed, locking the corporate sedan behind you “If something were to happen to you, or worse if you didn’t come back, Kasei would…”
“I said you’re staying: it’s dangerous.”
“Sasayama, our work is dangerous,” you replied, contemptuous, understanding that clearly among the gear I brought I didn’t count yours and going back to the car to get it “One more risk won’t make a difference: if I have to drop dead, it can either be here, at home or god knows where.”
“Will you join me for the precinct’s dinner, though?”
And here is a sequence that the voice recorder surely can’t have grasped, but that I could remember even in a thousand years. You cast an outraged glance over me from above the trunk’s door, panting through a half-smile. You shook your head, tucking your hair behind your ear. And finally, after refusing my invitations since 17th November, during lunch break, you smiled shrugging.
“Deal, come on, just make way” you sighed, as your heels echoed on the wet concrete “Still, you’re a jerk.”
“I recorded it: you have no excu-”
The audio file interrupts.
End of recording.
