Here's an idea for a fanmade frame that I may or may not work on further; based off a discussion me and a friend had about what kind of frame we would be based on how we play games in general! I'm the type who usually tries to sneak around, get a feel of the map and pick off enemies at a distance if metal gear/fallout/immersive sim games are anything to go by, so I went for a stealthy, sniper-focused warframe that supports their squad by scouting and eliminating high priority targets; not 100% on the design but I'm happy with what I got for the moment ^^ Here's my idea for their kit so far (this was actually started before Dante was released and finished on February, before the armor scaling changes happened xD): Name(tentative): Tempest Passive: bonus damage added the more shots travel before hitting their mark (past 15m-20m)

Flying dash/grouping ability that envelops hit enemies in darkness, blinding them and slowing them down for a certain time. allies caught in the trajectory get a modest speed boost.

High range sonar-like ability that marks high priority targets (like demos/eximi), inflicting a damage amplification debuff on them and giving buffs to squadmates that kill them (buff depends on how they're killed, squadmates who assisted in the kill also get the buff)

Conditional invis/evasion buff (probably works like ivara's?), while buff is active, headshot/weakpoint damage inflicted with a sniper rifle is spread/distributed to nearby enemies

Ult (?) hover/wall latch over the ground for a certain period of time (what I had in mind was something similar to Jade's flight in her ult originally, but maybe changed to be less mobile) evasion and fire rate/reload is increased with kills. while discount sonar (ability 2) is active, aiming down sights highlights weakpoints of enemies in sights for everyone; hits to weakpoints ignore a percentage of armor at base strength.

May or may not have an exalted sniper when using their 4.

RELIC HOLDERS - APHMAU

Please note this is a rewritten version of Minecraft Diaries, what is here is not completely canon to the universe and I have taken various creative liberties to create what I think is a satisfactory story. Some of these choices for the relic holders are NOT forever, as some relics get passed onto other people. This list, however, is pretty definitive.

I asked my friends if I should write starting from Aphmau or Laurence. They all chose Aphmau and I probably have the least amount of lore for her so let's see what we can crack out.

Let us Begin

There are many words to describe the lady of Phoenix Drop, though I thing a perfect one is ''Enigma''. From the very beginning, Aphmau was never normal. She was self-aware of the world she resided in to a unique degree, she could make different choices and unravel a story with her at its core.

Who she was had never truly been queried. She knew her name was Aphmau and she knew she had a village to look after. Shortly after the confrontation in the Irene Dimension with Zane, Aphmau found herself back in her old house. Her sons grown and her flame of motivation threatening to flicker out.

It was lucky then that day, Hyria came to visit. Lucinda's mother had gotten worried since some news about Laurence had broken out, and for some reason her daughter always seemed enamoured with him. During her visit, however, guilt burdened her every time she set her eyes on Aphmau's house. She had to tell Aphmau.

So, Aphmau knows that she is Irene. To what extent she believes it, she's not sure. Goddesses are supposed to be all powerful, all knowing. Even when Hyria comforts her that she was supposed to forget- the answer seems too easy. Too convenient. Aphmau wants to strive for answers beyond the blanket layer of information she was given.

Beginning the start of Season 2 for our rewrite is when markings begin to decorate Aphmau's skin. Beautiful glowing marks that define her easily; this woman is not human. She is not even mortal. Despite this, her closest friends are not put off by her change of appearance and keep her close.

Garroth brings her with him when the threat of Zane becomes evermore present once more. Zane, who now has gotten Laurence on his side. Laurence; with Shad's relic.

Every time Aphmau thinks of Shad- or Laurence- her heart pulses. She swears she can feel an echoing voice in her head. Something which tries to guide her, something with a lot more bloodlust than she could ever dream to have. Something Divine.

Travis offers her to recreate the Divine Warriors- to right the wrongs the 6 legends had before them in communication and to make something bigger and better than the burden that had been set upon their shoulders. Since she agreed, her divinity stopped hiding itself so much.

Piercing white pupils glow within her Irises. Perhaps one day they will be a pure white like the Matrons.

Becoming Irene is something that scares Aphmau. She doesn't want to be someone she seemed so keen to run away from the past. Aphmau wants to try again- this time, correctly.

Consider this rewrite as of current from past the Irene Dimension fight. There will be information and rewrites from before that period that I'm working for but you know me! I like to start in the ocean and work my way back to the creek.

Bughead Appreciation Week - Day 1 Bughead Fandom Love Day

First of all: thank you @bugheadcentral for putting this together! I think we all need this.

I won’t even attempt to name all the people in this fandom I’m thankful for because I will inevitably forget someone and feel terrible about it!

I have been in this fandom since Jan. 2017 and so many people have entered (and some since exited but I still remember them fondly) my life because of this crazy show. There’s too many to name in just one post (and I have mommy brain and would forget some of you)!

If we’ve ever interacted, I hope I made you feel like you mattered and like you brought something into my life. You all have. So here are a few blanket statements:

1. I’m so very thankful for all our Bughead fic writers who keep finding new ways of writing our ship falling in love over and over again in thousands of different manners. They have been especially important since canon has been failing us.

2. Thank you to all the wonderful gif makers. I stopped watching at 4.16 and you guys allow me to see only the good Bughead stuff that’s happened since then and remind me of all the wonderful moments we got before things got so completely messed up.

3. Thank you to the ones I call the 'Bughead commentators' because even though I stopped watching, through following your blogs, I can keep up with what’s happening in the land of Bughead on Riverdale.

I am very unfamiliar with Tumblr RP and how it works, so I'm not sure what I need to clarify on. Having said that, I've seen some accounts with some kind of intro and boundaries/rules. So! Here's mine. Subject to change and expansion while I figure out what I should put in here.

GUIDELINES

I will write incest ships, or I can avoid doing that if you want.

If you have specific boundaries or lines I should keep in mind, OR something you want to add in but you want to know if it's okay, my DMs are open

I write fairly long answers, though they vary in length. Do not feel like you have to match me, just write whatever amount feels right.

I will not write noncon/rape/etc.

I will not write sex scenes out on the blog for everyone and the cosmos to see. If that's something you want to do, feel free to ask me in DMs and I'll consider it. If I accept I'll probably ask to do it in a shared Google doc or something similar.

That said, making out is fair game. This includes weird body horror stuff like roots and internal organs.

If it happens in Elden Ring it's safe to assume I will write it. It depends on the character- Trina (usually) is not going to start torturing people. I am also, as addressed in a previous point, not going to write my character torturing your character nonconsensually.

That said, if both characters and players are consenting I am a gothic horror writer and I enjoy writing terrible, terrible situations, so if there's some nightmarish scene you want to concoct I am on board.

I can write the range from fluff and found family to grimdark angst, the only area I'm really putting limits on is smut, as stated.

St. Trina is an (eldritch) child but I am open to shipping her in pretty much any scenario. If that makes you uncomfortable I can age her up, but it will affect how I play her so fair warning.

I'm not going to fight with anyone about how I play her or her backstory. My headcanons are my headcanons and I'm here to have fun.

I have a job with a wildly erratic schedule. While I am absolutely refreshing Tumblr every chance I get, there are going to be long gaps in responses.

I prefer to do longform RP separate from asks- if you send an RP response to an ask I'll definitely read it, but if you want to do a whole thread on the topic I'd rather start it on its own post. My ask-response format and my actual RP format are very different.

best experiences — honestly? the best experience i've had so far has actually been the OP rp community. i've been in a lot of fandoms, but i've never felt so completely welcomed as a new writer in the fandom. the dash commentary shenanigans and the willingness to just drop into inboxes on a whim with unprompted stuff is honestly a lot of fun! i'm really happy this is the community experience i get to have on my return to tumblr

pet peeves / dealbreakers — i have 2 big ones: (1) guilt tripping me into replies or worse, ships. this is the easiest way to piss me off and will likely end up in the exact opposite of what the person wants happening. (2) genderbent characters; it's almost 2024 so i'm baffled i have to say this, but if you don't know why these depictions are harmful, this post does a nice job of putting it into words. anyway, genderbends will get a quick block from me.

muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ) — well i tend to write a lot of cheery, silly stuff as is the nature for luffy, but also because that comes to me the easiest sometimes. but i really love angst and hurt/comfort type stuff. like yes, i want the angst, but please let me have a comforting resolution for them as well. angst and drama with a sprinkle of fluff. on that note, i also just enjoy writing luffy being silly and unhinged, because it makes people smile and laugh and you all deserve a little bit of that each day.

plot or memes — either really! i think memes are a great way to both start interactions, but also keep plotted things going. that being said, i love plotting with people and fleshing out the dynamics of our characters, and a lot of the time i have ideas to share. so i like both!

long or short replies — i am a sucker for longer replies. while not a lot of it is introspection for luffy, he is an active character with ever changing expressions and actions that he's doing. i also really love imagery and describing scenes, so that gets put into his writing sometimes as well. in the stuff where i do explore his emotions and vulnerability, i also can't do that in a short thread because there needs to be context, so i will write as much as needed to do that side of him justice. that being said, i also enjoy short things too! the silly short things are my go to when my brain isn't braining.

best time to write — usually weekends, because i can take my adderall and sit down and get a lot of stuff written

are you like your muse — despite being a lot more introverted, i do think i share some similarities with luffy. we both really like to keep things silly, but can get very serious and passionate when it comes to protecting our friends or just people in general. like him, i also have a lot of love to give to people and i really enjoy making new friends (when i have the energy). uh what else...we're both eager to fight, but in a love punch/wrestle kind of way. and i too have nearly drowned in an ocean on multiple occasions.

OKAY FINALLY some info about this OC universe i’m making!!

This world has an “MC” named Albedo Trill. 5th grader, horror fan, ‘urban explorer’, recently moved into this small town called Hontsville. She was living a normal life until she had a terrible “accident”, as she fell from the 2nd floor of an abandoned building she was exploring. Ever since then, she had gained the ability to see the dead!

In this universe, good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell. Although, there are always those who managed to stay completely neutral. Those people get to stay on earth until God decides to pick everyone up! (Hooray!!) But, there is a catch to this. Yes, you will get to go to heaven at the end of it all but only if you manage to maintain your existence in this realm. In order to maintain your existence, you will need to stay ‘relevant’. Don’t let people forget about you or you will disappear into nothing. Nothing really matters when you’re already dead so some have maintained their being by scaring people shitless, becoming urban legends or popular ghost stories for people to retell over and over. Some get it a lot easier bcs they were either already quite famous in life or died a death so silly, people would just keep talking about it. Also, the more well known you are, the more power you will become. :)

In this universe, ghosts can sorta roam more freely as they aren’t restricted to just one specific area. But, if the ghost strays too far from their place of death, they will be teleported back to their point of death. The more powerful they are, the bigger their range is.

This is for most of the anon questions I got! 

I actually haven’t considered that! Part of me wanted to say accents aren’t a thing in Unova, but then I remembered the infamous nugget bros...and their catchphrase “nuggetabout it!” It just makes me wish every single character in Unova was heavily accented in all variations. But to answer the question, I haven’t given it any thought at all so I can’t say! 

I’ve answered this before I think? But my point remains the same. My art of them features them exclusively in a platonic way!  However, I don’t mind the ships, and I don’t mind people seeing it in such a way. I get comments all the time where people joke about “Elesa and her two malethings + her gf Skyla” Hell even I joke about it sometimes. But it’s all in good fun.

OKAY. I’ll be cynical for a second: From what I’ve noticed (this is a small observation, not a factoid) I think a lot of submas fans are new to Pokemon…so are maybe not used to gamefreak being huge disappointments yet. 😩 in my experience, they tend to drop lore or plot points and then ignore them for years.

Hahah, I haven’t really given it much thought, but I genuinely believe that three of them are some of the toughest trainers in Unova. I would say they got far enough to reach victory road. The twins’ talent speaks for themselves being battle facility bosses, but Elesa is nothing to sneeze at either. Since i like to HC them as childhood friends, it only feels fitting that Elesa was not only able to keep up with the twins, but probably bested them several times.

Maybe some daaaayyy….i love Adaman’s design (even if wayyy to many of the charcters are wayyy to pale eeergh)

Im always thinkin to myself i need to have comic ideas in order to draw certain characters. But I forget I can just … draw them……without giving them a reason to be. SO maybe someday haha! Im glad you like the way I drew him though lol!

It’s not so much that its canon (don’t believe much has been confirmed about them except they are clown inspired and have receding hairlines) but it’s apparent and obvious. I would dare say it’s not even debatable, but with these sort of headcanons, you have to consider that the people that feel strongly about it are more likely autistic themselves and therefore know more about the subject.

I recommend reading posts by @/1863-project! They go into detail about every detail and honestly it’s allowed me to learn a lot about how to write the characters!

Kind of interesting to think about. I’m unsure if I’d describe it as scary. More so intimidating because it’s so rare to witness!

I’m reminded of how passively Ingo handled Melli’s fuckery…his customer service voice fell back in time with him. It can be attributed to his politeness, but it certainly takes a great level of patience. So yeah, honestly, I think Ingo would never allow anyone to see him completely angry. Similarly for Emmet, even though he does tend to be more expressive.

I’ve seen a lot of disc horse happening on here about hyperfixations on Harry Potter and whether or not people should be forced to stop liking the series altogether. and once again people are taking the argument to the extremes and whipping each other into a rage.

I have ADHD. I have hyperfixations. Sometimes those fixations are on problematic or outright bigoted/awful media. I cannot control what my brain latches onto besides not being exposed to it in the first place, and some media (Harry Potter especially) is hard to avoid. I can’t just stop fixating. and yes, for a long time I did fixate on Harry Potter. it has taken a lot of time for that fixation to fade, and I’ve had to come to terms with a lot about the thing I once cared about so dearly.

that being said: you can have a hyperfixation without supporting the original text or creator.

want to watch the films/read the books? get them from a local library, buy them secondhand, or pirate them.

want to buy merch? buy from small businesses (not trademarked stuff) or buy secondhand.

want to wear Harry Potter merch? wear it around the house.

want to create fan content (fanart, fanfic, amvs, edits, etc)? do it. create it. maybe send it to a friend. do not post it.

want to talk about it? talk to a friend, family member, mutual, therapist, etc. don’t make posts about it.

I think sometimes we forget what it’s like to live in a world where we aren’t constantly sharing our interests with others online. but considering how many people have been hurt by jkr and her content, I think it’s fair in this case to say: fixate, let your brain cope with life however it has to, and if Harry Potter is what’s keep you going right now that’s alright. just don’t post about it. participating in online fandom is keeping her relevant, thus supporting her. she has made this clear herself. she’s aware of how fandom influences her platform.

and if you’re currently fixated on Harry Potter please remember to view it with a critical eye. I understand how hard it can be to see the flaws in something you’re so attached to. but in this case it’s not just the author. the media itself does contain a lot of problematic stuff (racism, slavery apologism, anti-semitism, fatphobia, appropriation of indigenous cultures, as well as a wealth of other things. if you’re wondering about any of this, feel free to comment or dm me any time and I can expand on these to the best of my knowledge).

that being said: if you’re currently on the side of the argument begging people to stop engaging with all Harry Potter media altogether: I get it too. I’m trans. I deeply despise what jkr has said and done, her wealth and influence, the movement she stands for, and the swath of wreckage she’s using her power to cause. I also agree that the text itself is deeply problematic and at best should be viewed with a highly critical eye and at worst should be taken out back and burned. if everyone could just stop engaging with Harry Potter media and fandom, that would be sure be nice.

unfortunately I don’t think that’s possible this time. Harry Potter still has a massive following around the globe who will never see the reasons to disconnect from it. telling neurodivergent kids online to simply stop hyperfixating is pointless and doing more harm than good. forcing people to feel incredibly guilty for their fixations isn’t exactly fair.

we all agree jkr is harmful and needs to have her platform removed. we all agree that the only power we have is by keeping the media relevant, or letting it go. it seems the level to which we need to disengage is the part where contentions arise, and extreme, black and white viewpoints and the terminally online nature of our lives and interests is warping our perspective.

if you truly don’t want to support jkr, you cannot keep posting Harry Potter content talking about how much you like it, regardless of whether or not you give her money or tag it “fuck jkr”. she’s already a billionaire. this is beyond giving her clout. this is about decreasing the relevance and platform of the author and her content, while creating a safer community for people who’ve been hurt by jkr and her content.

and if you truly want to get people to join your boycott, you have to understand that not everyone will be able to disengage the same way as you and the fact that they’re trying does count for something. the only way this will do anything at all is through unity.

TLDR: if you’re currently hyperfixated on Harry Potter that doesn’t make you a bad person, just please engage with the media in private and remember to view it critically. if you’re currently getting upset at people for their fixations, please consider helping to educate rather than lose your cool at internet strangers.

Boobiegate masterpost

We know what they did this summer - and oh boy, was a it a wild summer that - unfortunately for us - stretched into autumn and beyond any reason.

I will first go over everything as it happened and then - because when you look back at everything you realise some timelines overlap - I’ll try to clarify some stuff and put it into perspective.

NOTE: I’m writing the dates from a GMT time zone point of view (aka. UK time)

So let’s start from the beginning. 

Briana breaks up with Brody Jenner after dating him for some random attention seeking period. (June-September roughly)

September 23rd

So on September 23rd we’re flooded with articles about Brody and Bri breaking up and Bri getting back together with her “on-again off-again (boy)friend Nick” and the biggest surprise “BRI IS ENGAGED”

So the story is: 

Bri ended her relationship with Brody because “they were moving too fast” and he had “already met Freddie” 

She then gets back together with her on-again, off-again bf Nick Gordon 

She, her family, and Nick go on a “whirlwind” trip to Las Vegas (MIND YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC) 

Bri and Nick get engaged during those Covid inviting few days in Vegas (September 21st- September 23rd) 

Articles drop about how they’re engaged and she’s broken up with Brody (Sept 23rd) 

Bri, family and Nick all share a huge amount of Vegas pictures of them in love, Bri’s ring, Bri and Nick being a couple (pictures obviously taken before Vegas to hopefully make someone believe that this in no way is a whirlwind engagement after just knowing each other a few weeks. Did they convince anyone? Well if you are convinced - I’m worried for you)

And Nick’s new public profile when it just got made. Was he trying to start an influencer career and say goodbye to being a firefighter? September 28th

At first the engagement pictures on Nick’s IG were just him and Briana and he used the #/shesaidyes. After a few days and probably after they realised it would be a smart move to acknowledge her kid she claims to have too (👀) he deleted those and on September 28th posted new pictures with a new caption and new # of course. This time “theysaidyes”.

But, moving on.

As soon as the engagement news drops, we have Nick - our “good-guy firefighter” making a new and public IG account, flooding it with pictures where he professes his love for Bri and soaking up the d-list association fame.

So in the coming weeks we get a lot of Nick, Bri and their families on IG. They post a lot about being constantly together.

What was the most interesting they really pushed the “dad” image on Nick. He was constantly posting about Freddie and even in Bs or Tammi’s stories he was always seen interacting with F the most.

Then after it seemed like the new fiancees had settle into their soon-to-be married life and everything seemed rosy for them - we get hit with the whammy BOOBIEGATE.

Because hell hath no fury like a sugar daddy scorned.

October 15th

On the 15th of October celebtm a gossip site, posts the next picture and caption on IG:

Basically, they’re saying a guy - his name unknown yet - contacted them to tell them how Briana scammed him out of money she borrowed to get a boob job. Specifically 5k USD. He claims he filed the case in court and it’s dated January.

They ask if anyone else has similar receipts or anything about her and that they’re investigating and will be writing a story. And the comments have a lot to say about Bri.

October 19th

4 days later on October 19th celebtm posts another IG update about how they have the court filing and how their article is in progress.

October 21st

2 days after the last IG post celebtm finally posts their article - on the 21st of October

A day after the article dropped there’s another IG post with the following picture and caption. Apparently, Sugar Daddy shared his receipts - specifically AmEx - with celebtm.

October 26th

On October 26th celebtm posts the second part of the article. It’s messier, with a more confusing timeline than the first, but tries to “spill” more details on Sugar Daddies relationship with Briana and her life in general.

Also by now we know his name - Michael Strauss. An investor in Warwick club in LA.

October 27th

Then a day later we get another IG post - no new article - just more excerpts from what the Sugar Daddy told celebtm.

Then it’s quiet for a few days and when you think this can’t get even more trashy - low and behold the circus that is called October 29th.

October 29th

So after a few days of silence celebtm strikes again, but this time they bring in TV’s most loved judge - Judge Judy. Apparently the TV show was willing to take this litigation and air it as an episode.

As always, they post an IG post and a caption, and the article mentioned in the IG caption below is basically an article written for clicks about Louis and Harry because they saw the larrie part of the fandom was getting them clicks. I’ll leave the link to the article here for documentation purposes, but honestly there’s nothing in there worth giving them clicks for. Not a thing. The title of the article is “A Complete Guide to 1D Members Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles’ Rumoured Relationship”

November 6th

We see the sudden return from social media exile of Bri to IG. She’s back - with a post and the description ironically saying “I’m back”. I refuse to post it because does anyone really want to look at her face-tuned selfies? 

November 9th

Then after weeks of radio silence, the return of Bri to IG, we get what is apparently the - very underwhelming - like Bri’s boobs to Sugar Daddy who never got to see them - conclusion to this Sugar Daddy drama. This following article which is basically a letter from Michael to Briana telling her how he’s giving up on the lawsuit, taking this as a life lesson and how he hopes no one else falls for her scams. So, here we currently are. After watching that circus show no one wanted not paid for (well except the Sugar Daddy, and he didn’t even get to see the thing he paid for - so sad.) we’re in November and the Jungwirths and company are back to their carefree posting on IG. 

Current status:

The lawsuit seems to have been dropped. 

Everything seems to be in process of being swept under the rug.

Nick - the loving fiancee - is back to IG too. All of his happy, loving pictures with Bri still up (some deleted) - so we must assume their love survived Boobiegate.

As for overlapping timelines:

The timelines overlap mostly during the months March-October with it being said Bri dated Brody, but was also taking money from Boobie Daddy who was helping her during the pandemic, and was later also apparently starting a serious relationship with Nick.

What actually went on - I don’t know. And I’m honestly not interested to find out. This is being mentioned just so anyone coming across this post knows that yes - you didn’t read it wrong - the timelines do overlap with different people saying different things and Bri being tied to all three men at those times without any real clear timeline for the relationships.

So far this is all there is to this mess. If there’s more - I’ll do a part two or addition.

I’d like to end this with saying - these masterposts are 95% just me making them for myself because I forget stuff, and so much goes on in the fandom that if I want to keep up with it all, I need a nice timeline for things. I’m posting this for anyone wanting to make sense of this circus too or just to put it into a timeline. Hi Izel! After reading a lot of yours and others' posts, I am wanting to carefully layer more Latine attributes to Taako and Lup when I write them. One of Taako's quirks are his vocatives (my dude, homie, bubeleh, etc). What would be some good Spanish language/northern Mexican-oriented vocatives that I can use here and there? Maybe some affectionate, and insulting ones too :D I don't want to just pick random Spanish insults, I want it to really sound like him you know? tysm for your advice!!

oH!!!!! HELL YEAH!!! I got a few for you!! Though a lot of these are regional cause my knowledge is very specific to the Spanish I learned from my parents, so it’ll be a bit specific (also leans heavily towards the Spanish my dad uses cause i love it a lot fjfjfj)

Compadre/Comadre OKAY SO LOOKING AT QUOTES, HE ACTUALLY SAYS COMPADRES IN CANON SO, THERE YA GO. That one is a GIVEN. EASY. Compadres is especially great cause we use it for friends that are so close they’re pretty much family at this point, and it’s comforting as well, kind of a home-y vibe to it imo, so compadres is very very good. Now let’s talk alternatives and all that, there’s a short hand like, compa (which is masculine), and comadre (feminine) idk if there’s a shorthand for comadre, but if there is, i never hear it used :0

ex: (from canon!) “Bad news compadres, this place is magic as hell!”

Jefe, this means boss! So it’s like saying you’re the boss! and usually you say it to strangers to show respect but in a friendly way? It’s a very small town-y way to refer to someone if that makes sense fjfjfj? Which is why I love when my dad says it jaja. (I wouldn’t recommend using this for women because it would then be Jefa which is typically used more for old ladies so it’s not great... It’s kind of like a bro term in that sense! But I use masculine terms for myself all the time, Spanish and English, despite being nonbinary so it doesn’t have to be too strict either!) 

ex: “Where do you want me to drop these bags, jefe?”

Fulano y Fulana  This is like saying “what’s his name” or “so and so” or even like John Doe, or BIlly Bob, just very common name’s to mean somebody random! Good to use if you don’t know someone's name but wanna talk about them, especially good for Taako since he straight up forgets peoples names in canon all the time, so having him call them Fulano/Fulana would be very funny and good JAJAJAA (THIS CAN ALSO BE ADDED ONTO WITH Mengano/a y Zutano/a y  Perengano/a)

ex: “Who cares! Fulano, Zutano, Mengano! They all had the same ugly bowlcut anyways!”

mijo/mija/mije this right here is a good term of endearment for people younger than you! Especially kids and teenagers, or if you’re an old person you pretty much use this for everyone rjfhrjfhr, although this is usually reserved for your actual child, it is very often used in Mexico as a term of care/endearment/etc. towards those younger than you! kinda like sweetheart! 

ex: *referring to Angus “Alright mijo, I think that’s enough magic learnin’ for today...”

chucherías, Now this one is one of my favorite words, so this is very self indulgent, but it basically just means nick knacks, and trinkets, but like useless stuff ya know? So like when you go shopping and get a lot of meaningless stuff you don’t actually need? That’s a bunch of chucherías.

ex: “Lup, Lupis, Lupita, you know I love Merle, but we can NOT bring him with us to the swap meet. All he does is get millions of chucherías every single time, without fail, and somehow I always end up having to help him pay for it.”

As always try not to use them too often, so it doesn’t sound forced and weird, like they’re just randomly switching into Spanish every 5 minutes, cause ya know, weird and nobody talks like that fjfjfj. Try and keep it very rare, and only when it really works for the sentence/situation. (words like mijo/mija and compa/compadre/comadre, can be used a bit more often, but as stated before just try to be mindful with how often you use them) You can even have the twins only talking in Spanish to themselves to gossip about other people or share a secret, which is something me and my siblings do allllll the time!! and feels very much in character so there ya go jaja, but ye!!!!  Hope these help!!! There’s way more stuff out there too but these are the one’s I think work best for the twins and who they are! If you ever need any more my DMs are always open! ;w;

hi my lovelies! i’m wishing you all the happiest new year for 2021. without going into too much detail, we all know how much this past year has sucked. that’s honestly the only way to describe it. it’s absolutely sucked. but i know that one thing we’ve learned is to find the light in the darkness, and it’s something i’ve really been trying to focus on as we navigated and continue to navigate our way through this pandemic.

at the beginning of the year, i was in a writing slump. i was going through some personal stuff that honestly knocked the wind right out of me. i didn’t think i’d ever find the energy to write ever again (and it’s my favorite thing to do; it keeps me sane). i was so drained of energy and love of myself that i wanted to say “fuck it” and give up writing altogether. but then, by a miracle, i found some lovely individuals, and you guys re-sparked my love of the thing i need to do in order to make me who i am. write.

@theweasleysredhair chloe! i remember before the twins got insanely popular on here, you were always one of the writers that stuck out to me. we started chatting back and forth and commenting on one another’s fics. and then you’d decided to take a break from tumblr. i didn’t know if you were coming back (and not to be dramatic but i was heartbroken) and THEN YOU DID and we honestly picked up exactly where we’d left off. now we freak out about one another’s stories, cackle like actual idiots at the magic that is impractical jokers, but it goes much deeper than that. we share life stories, offer advice to one another, and you’re always there for me when i need someone. and good god, girl, you can make me laugh. i hope you know that whenever i hear the word “forty” i think of you and scream FOEH in my head. so grateful for you, i can’t even explain it. also SCOOPSKI POTAYTAHS lmao love you
