The protagonist of Sensei’s new hockey manga is basically Koito tumblr*com/mercy-misrule/724408017812127744

They have similar aspects! xD Atm I personally see him as a totally different person despite the similarities starting from the fact that Koito is a rich 21 yo Officer while Rou is a 15 yo middle-class kid into Figure Skating.

This also reminds me of how little attention Noda would give to Koito's mom but here Rou was raised by a single mother. She died before ep 1 but I hope we see plenty of flashbacks and she's well-written.

These parts reminded me a lot of Koito tho! Also, he kinda serves as confirmation that Koito is not exactly a twink xD

A headcanon I had about Koito is that he's not friendly. He can be polite but he dislikes strangers and gets attached to very few people. He's selective and introverted. Rou is probably more charismatic and nice to everyone.
