Through The Tudors, I've developed an unexpected liking and appreciation for Thomas More that I did not have before.
It's even funnier when I tell you just how much my mother hated More. Like, she despised him 😅
#I also really liked Wolsey#But I already liked Wolsey beforehand#Also also Thomas Cranmer#You guys need to understand how much my mother hated More#It was funny#She thought he was too fanatical#And like yeah he was but that's how people were in the 16th century#Devotion was expected#I liked More unexpectedly#But then again I also love Catherine of Aragon#I remember the history lesson I had in year 7 on Henry and his wives#The one that got me into tudor history in the first place#And we had to read these passages like the ones you read about historical figures from the historical figure's point of view#Like first person or whatever#And I was picked to read Catherine's#I love Catherine and I love Mary#I watched some clips of the the tudors on YouTube ages ago just to see the tudor kids so I already knew some things#And when I tell you I screamed with joy when Sarah Bolger first appeared on screen while watching with my mum#I love Mary#the tudors#Yeah this strayed from my main point lol
