Akemi let the strand of hair slip against his fingers. Not a moment passing where it wasn’t replaced with another lock of platinum hair.

Itome shifts lightly in his arms before nuzzling back in. His breath is still, soft, almost-snores. 

It’s been awhile, since they’ve been like this. Their last anything had been a quick blowjob with no time for anything more or afterwards.

Why do you think they're the only well-known scholar of fandom? Objectively untrue and easily verifiable if you throw a rock at academic circles.

Could it possibly be because the unprofessional, contentious asshole in question has a vested interest in maintaining the fiction that they're the only voice worth listening to when it comes to issues of fandom and racism?

Am I campaigning to have them deplatformed? Fuck no. We need more voices, not less.

And let me tell you, we need diverse voices that don't all agree with each other, because nothing gets academia rolling like having to respond to the asinine stupidity of an American pretending to be a global expert on something they have no real knowledge of.

I promise you, there's a scholarship if you look for it. There's many voices. There's many perspectives.
