Bakugou Katsuki
♡ TW: boyfriend Katsuki's strange guilty pleasure, harassment, nasty online comments, noncon ideations, online pervs
♡ FEM reader
“I’m borrowing your laptop, Kats!” you call.
He’s in the bath, so you’re not sure he heard you, but also, you don’t think it’s any big deal. You’ve been a couple for years now, and living together has only brought you closer. Besides, it’s not as if you’re going to snoop or anything—you’re just going to check something real quick while you charge yours.
You rethink it when you have to write in his password. Maybe it would be better to just wait for your own machine to get ready—it’s not as if you’re in a hurry or anything. But then again, at the same time, it doesn’t hurt to give it your best guess.
Right on the first try—your name and birthday. Though you appreciate the gesture, he really should see into getting something stronger than that. The information he is privy to through his work is quite sensitive, after all.
But anyway. Onto the task at hand. You click into the browser. It’s already got some tabs open.
You don’t mean to let your eyes wander, but it just can’t be helped. Katsuki sits before this thing, sometimes for hours during the day. Of course, most of it is surely work-related, writing incident rapports and profiles and the like. But this page right here… you don’t know… something about it seems strange.
“Some type of forum…” you mutter to no one but yourself. Katsuki had never struck you as the type to neither read nor partake in other people’s banter. Again, you’d promised yourself you weren’t going to pry, but it only takes a few seconds to read the comments—it’s over before you can stop yourself.
I bet she’s a squealer, like a really cute squealer
I wanna tie her up in an abandoned building somewhere no one will hear her scream
Same, but not on the bed though, on the floor and take her like a bitch
I‘m sure dynamight fucks her every day, i know i would!
Dynamight’s such a lucky guy I hate him
You blink reading through the comments—completely having forgotten what you were doing in the first place. Who are these people? What are these comments about? You keep scrolling, eyebrows knit, and then you see it—your name.
She looks like the type of girl that lets her man fuck her anywhere he wants whenever he wants
I’d literally kill for an hour of having her alone. And I’d make good use of that hour. Make her dump that blond asshat to be with me.
If she were my girlfriend, I’d keep her leashed to the bed with a collar. Can’t have other guys looking at her when she’s mine.
I’d only feed her cum. Trust me, she wouldn’t go hungry.
You’re eyes are fully wide now. Are all these chats about you? What’s Katsuki doing in a place like this? Reading all these sick comments as if he isn’t your boyfriend.
“Hey!” A shout knocks you out of your trance—and startles you enough that it very nearly even knocked you off balance.
“What’re you doin’ on my computer?” he asks in accusation while taking hurried and thundering steps toward you—still wet from his shower, wearing nothing but a white towel around his lower half.
“Uh,” you struggle to find your voice, heart hammering in your chest, head spinning—feeling both caught red-handed and the exact opposite. “Uhm, nothing—I just—”
He rips the laptop off the desk, angry eyes staring at the screen—then quickly going round.
His face pales. You can practically see the goosebumps as they rise in a rush across his skin.
He swallows thickly, jaw-locked—doesn’t even dare look at you as he asks the question, “Did you read?”
You almost consider saying no but decide against it. This wasn’t something you could just ignore. No, you needed an explanation. Who knows? It might be completely innocent.
“Some of it…” you confess.
He shudders, and then he places the laptop down again, slowly, soundless. He rests his hands on the table and leans his weight on them, head bowed, voice small.
“I just… I… It’s, well…” He scratches the back of his neck, looking for the words.
You’ve never seen him like this before. Katsuki is nervous. But you suppose it’s for good reason.
“It’s not what you think, okay?” he declares, finally looking at you.
His face is something unfamiliar—riddled with this guilty anxiety you’ve never pictured before—frazzled. It’s completely odd.
“Okay,” you say calmly. You don’t know if you’re angry or not yet. You know you probably should be, but the look on the man’s face is making you feel sorry for him.
“I don’t agree with any of this,” he insists, gesturing to the laptop.
“Well, yeah, I sure hope so,” you say, although the question still remains, “But why are you on there then?”
“It…” He’s blushing—profusely—bright vermillion-tipped ears and apple-red cheeks. He looks away again. “I don’t know…”
I don’t know is an excuse you’ve never heard come out of his mouth. In fact, excuse or not, it’s a phrase you didn’t think him capable of. But look at him now, using it the same childish way a kid would after being caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
“You better not lie to me, Katsuki Bakugou—or I know someone who’s sleeping on the couch,” you finally find your strict tone. He’s crazy if he thinks this is something you’ll just forget about.
He sighs and then he falls into his desk chair, back hunched, hiding his face, wrapping his arms around your thighs and pulling you close, nuzzling his head against you, mumbling under his breath, “It’s sick, and it makes me sick…”
You wait, giving him the time to figure it out.
“But it…” he continues. You feel his hands tremble just a bit before he confesses, “It makes me feel good.”
You’re not sure you understand, and so you ask for clarification, “What makes you feel good?”
He sighs again, and this time, his voice comes out dark and lusty, leaving no room for confusion, “To know that I have something everybody else wants.”

For @nightunite. I actually came back with some Seal!Soap and some hurt/comfort of poly!141 x fruit bat!Reader. Hope this is satisfactory
Harbour seal!Soap who’s off the base whenever he can — getting back home as soon as possible, the favourite baby of his mama, the oldest son and pride of his family.
Harbour seal!Soap who has difficulty slotting into most teams, he’s not a pack hybrid, he’s not attuned to the thin threads of connection that wolves or bats or even cows can feel, he’s him and maybe that’s the problem?
Harbour seal!Soap who tries hard to blend in, because he is friendly, of course he is friendly, he’s the friendliest guy on base but whispers are that he smiles too wide, that his laugh is too strained, that his teeth are always out — sharp, menacing things.
Price takes one look at his file and thrusts the pup in Simon’s hands, hums to take care of the seal and Wolf!Simon isn’t even sure what the fuck is he supposed to do.
The lad is jumpy despite obvious brilliance, the lad is trying to smile so hard Simon’s wolf grumbles with the urge to paw at him, press cheeky pup in the ground, teach him some bloody manners. You don’t show your teeth off to the likes of Simon unless you want to have them knocked out.
But Soap wiggles his way in every conversation, eyes shiny and smiles wide up until Ghost corners him, looming like death himself — snarls that if he doesn’t want a big bad wolf to bite him, he’ll fucking stop.
Simon doesn’t know whether to act on his promise or laugh in disbelief when Johnny raises his head and grins wider, now showing off his own canine’s deliberately. Look at that, the pup can bite, can’t he?
Komodo dragon!Price just hums when he finds them tangled in each other and places a bite under Soap’s collar, teeth sinking in warm salty flesh, tongue licking off the blood.
Komodo dragons thrive on hierarchy, Price thrives on power — that’s the only thing he won’t compromise on.
Johnny grins and finds way in his arms as well. Too damn bad, captain, too damn bad. Harbour seals thrive on attention.
Their unit is all live wires and sparks and heavy heady tension — air so thick with perpetual hunger that they could carve their initials inside of a little heart.
It gets easier when Kyle arrives — he takes away some of the tension, he gets each of them, catching up on everything twice as fast as Soap did.
It scratches Johnny the wrong way, makes a sensitive small part of him whine that this is it, that Kyle will take his place because how can anyone not like Kyle? Kyle is handsome, Kyle is bright and so effortlessly charming Soap wants to whip out little notebook where sergeant speaks.
But at some point Gaz pecks a kiss to his temple and pulls him on the couch of the rec room. Warm, inviting, draping hand over his shoulders — draping wing over both of them.
Soap watches him — teeth sharp, jaws itching to try the pretty wings on the pretty Gaz, head plopping in his lap.
Kyle slots into their team like he always was there — fingers careful in Johnny’s hair, hands warm around Ghost’s shoulders, talons sharp on Price’s skin.
And then you arrive. Little bat with big eyes and big wings and some of the fluffiest hair Soap has ever seen.
You don’t slot in like Gaz, you are a little rougher around the edges, a little awkward with your approaches.
Bats are social creatures but not all of us take the best parts from our hybrid sides.
You are bloody amazing at what you do, your efficiency is not a concern but you don’t wiggle your way right in the team.
You hover on the outside, you eat your fruits alone (he isn’t even sure why you even eat them? Aren’t bats carnivores? Maybe you just like them) and in the dark, you watch them — always in the periphery of the vision. But never too close.
You remind Soap himself.
Small childish part of him wants to keep things that way, small childish part of him doesn’t like new people on the team, doesn’t like sharing attention.
But you don’t ask for any. You are just there.
It takes him month and a half and a stupid joke Ghost makes about vampires for you to reply that you are a) vegetarian b) a fruit bat and not a spectral bat for Soap to feel like someone kicked him in the face. Simon pauses, tilting head to the side, his tail stopping its friendly wag.
Your smile is too wide, your teeth are so sharp and you don’t try to fit in.
You try to stay away.
They don’t know you and you just let them know that they don’t. You just let them know that they haven’t tried to know you.
Soap spends the whole evening googling information about your species with Ghost hovering above his shoulder, dark eyes reading faster than Soap scrolls.
The next morning is the first time none of them comments on the amount of fruit you consume for breakfast.
Kyle slots in next to you, murmurs “gorgeous wings, love”, asks if you could help him with preening, offers you company for the morning drills.
Offer makes something in you flutter, sending spark of hope down your chest, your big eyes zeroing on warm friendly Kyle.
(Kyle will never admit how embarrassed he was to realise that you slipped through the cracks. Kyle will never admit that social “bird” part of him croaked with distress when he noticed that you are always a little behind. Never with them.)
Soap feels something in him clench when you glance in his direction and then shake your head at Kyle. Soap knows why you looked at him very very well.
He notices Price with your file in the afternoon, reading glasses on the tip of his nose, tail swaying in with something very similar to agitation. Price doesn’t know how to crack on you, you never fight for his right at the top of the food chain, you never contest his power. He has nothing to bite down on.
Soap isn’t sure you will give captain anything to hook on. Soap isn’t sure you feel like you can.
Johnny finds you late at night, ridiculously big bowl of fruit in your lap, his cheeks burning when your head snaps up at him and you put it away.
He and Ghost used to tease you about the amount of fruits and berries you consumed — you started eating less at dinners with them.
Soap’s throat bobs when he gulps and he shakes his head, plopping himself down on the carpet next to you.
He should have thought you’d find a way to catch up on your meals when no one looks.
When no one can make you feel wrong for eating what you like to eat.
Johnny extends his palm to you. You won’t eat while he’s here but he’d like you to. Maybe you will continue if he asks you to share.
Wikipedia page smacks his brain immediately, reminding that fruit bats eat alone and are very protective of their food.
Bloody awesome, Johnny, you might’ve as well tried to wrestle fruits out of your grip.
But before his panic forces him to hide his palm away you carefully place a date in his palm, your darker claws cool and pointy. Soap doesn’t know why but he stares, eyes gluing to him.
“Can do damage with these, eh?”, he attempts at having conversation, trying not to smile too wide. Not to show off too much teeth.
You hum out “depends” and in demonstration poke a piece of orange, skewing it on a thin claw.
Soap feels his brows arch, leaning closer, unbidden “how many can you stack on ‘em?” leaving his mouth before he thinks.
To his absolute delight you snicker and pass him the bowl.
He spends the rest of the hour stacking pieces of fruit and skewing berries on your claws and watching as you practically inhale them once he’s done.
When you two finish up the bowl, you both are covered in juice and are grinning like mad idiots but Soap never felt lighter.
He watches you grin back at him — wide and toothy — and feels something shifting.
Maybe he’s not the pack hybrid like Ghost or doesn’t have Kyle’s easy charm or even John’s acute understanding of dynamics within the team. But he is him and it seems like that’s exactly what you need.
Few months later Soap finds himself with you nuzzled in his neck, Kyle plastered over you two like he’s a big blanket, Simon reading something in the quiet low voice of his and John already crawling into den you call bed.
It’s warm and he’s squished by people who like him from every side and he finally belongs.
Soap presses a kiss to the top of your head and smiles wide when you raise it, giving him a slow sleepy blink. His smiles are wide and toothy.
His smiles are always welcomed with his team.
And so is he.

Age Is Just a Number…Right? - Luke Hughes
Summary: Luke. Age gap. Jack being a menace as usual, making sure you're not getting away that easy. Warning: Implied sexual situations, mature language, flirtation, age gap (6 years)
Note: Hey, lovelies! So, originally, this fic was all about Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, but then I realized—Will is 19, and honestly, he’s just a baby to me. Even if he said he loves older woman. Boy go back to kinder garden. (Sorry Will, love you, I promise!) So, I decided to swap in the Hughes boys instead. I’ve gotta be honest, it gave me a bit of a headache. Now, this started as a quick, short fic. I swear, I had every intention of keeping it short. But, well… 7048 words later, here we are. I got hit with a ton of ideas and feelings, and the story just kind of... grew on me. You’ll probably notice the tone/style shifts halfway through, and I’m definitely sorry for that!
But hey, I hope you all enjoy it despite the wild ride! ❤️ For more fun: masterlist
The first thing you notice is warmth.
A heavy arm draped over your waist. The steady rise and fall of breath against the back of your neck. The scent of clean laundry, cologne, and something distinctly him clinging to the pillow beside you.
The second thing you notice—you are not in your own bed.
Your stomach flips as your brain reboots, sluggishly piecing together fragments of last night.
The blind date.
Luke.
His charming smile. The way his chestnut curls fell into his eyes when he laughed. The way he leaned in when you spoke, like you were the only person in the room. The teasing brush of his fingers against yours when he reached for his drink. The electricity that crackled between you when you finally caved—when he kissed you outside the bar, his hands firm at your waist, his body pressing into yours like he couldn’t help himself.
And then… more.
Your face burns as memory after memory floods in. His hands, his mouth, the way he whispered your name like it meant something.
Nope. Not thinking about that.
Carefully, you shift beneath the covers, untangling yourself from his hold. Luke stirs but doesn’t wake, his arm slipping away as you ease yourself upright.
That’s when it really hits you.
He looks so young.
His chestnut curls are a mess, his lips slightly parted, his entire face softened in sleep. He looks… peaceful. Innocent, almost.
A strange unease settles in your stomach.
Your gaze flickers around the unfamiliar room. It’s nice but lived-in—hockey gear shoved into the corner, a few discarded clothes on a chair. Your eyes land on the nightstand, where his wallet sits slightly open.
You don’t mean to snoop. You really don’t.
But something about last night nags at you.
Just a quick peek. Just to make sure.
Fingers trembling, you reach for it, flip it open.
And your heart stops.
Luke Hughes. Age: 21.
Twenty fucking one.
As in, young enough to still pull all-nighters for fun. As in, could still be in college.
And you? You are twenty-seven.
Oh. My. God.
Your hands fly to your phone as you furiously type out a message to your friend.
"WHAT THE HELL?! YOU SET ME UP WITH A 21-YEAR-OLD. I AM A GROWN WOMAN. I PAY FOR MY OWN HEALTH INSURANCE."
No response.
Coward.
Panic thrums in your veins as you stare at Luke—still peacefully asleep, completely unaware that you are having a full-blown identity crisis in his bed.
You need to leave. Now.
Right?
But for some reason, you hesitate.
Because Luke… Luke is the first guy in a long time who actually made you interested. Who made you laugh so hard you snorted into your drink. Who listened—really listened—when you talked, instead of just waiting for his turn to speak. And, well. The man or more like a boy, had managed to get you to orgasm. Twice!
Which, considering your track record, felt almost miraculous.
Your past partners had barely managed to get you there once—if at all.
And now you’re just supposed to sneak out of here like it never happened? Like he was just another bad decision?
Your stomach twists.
But then you glance at the wallet again. Twenty-one.
Yeah. You need to go.
Sliding out of bed as silently as possible, you scan the room for your clothes. Your shirt is on the floor, your jeans halfway under the bed. You grab them quickly, yanking them on with the precision of someone defusing a bomb. Bra? Found. Socks? One is missing, but you’ll live.
Once fully dressed, you tiptoe to the door. Your shoes. They’re outside the room. You remember kicking them off in the hallway.
One deep breath.
You ease the door open, peeking into the dimly lit living room.
Empty.
Good.
You take two careful steps out, eyes locked on your shoes near the front door. Almost there. Just a few more—
“Busted.”
You scream.
Not a blood-curdling horror movie scream, but a very real, very startled yelp that absolutely does not help you maintain any dignity in this situation.
Your body jolts like you’ve just been electrocuted, arms flailing wildly as you spin toward the voice.
There, sprawled across the couch, is a guy watching you like this is the best morning of his life.
Tall. Ridiculously handsome. Light brown hair, messy in a way that suggests he just woke up. Sharp cheekbones. Blue eyes filled with pure mischief.
And a smirk so unbearably smug that you immediately want to punch it off his face.
You clutch your chest, heart racing. “Jesus Christ, who the hell are you?!”
The guy grins wider. “Damn. Didn’t even recognize me? That hurts.”
“Am I supposed to?”You blink, still catching your breath.
His smirk falters for half a second before returning full force. “Oh, that’s good. That’s really good.” He tilts his head, studying you like you’re some kind of rare specimen. “You actually have no idea who I am, do you?”
“Why the hell would I?” Your frown deepens.
He lets out a dramatic sigh, like this is somehow the greatest tragedy to ever befall him.
“You’re telling me,” he starts, sitting up slightly, resting his arms on his knees, fully entertained, “that you came home with my brother, slept with him, and have no idea who we are?”
Your stomach drops.
Brother?
You knew Luke had brothers—he mentioned it—but you had no idea they were famous.
Your eyes flick toward the bedroom, then back to him. “You’re—wait, you’re one of Luke’s brothers?”
He snorts. “Wow. No recognition at all. That is humbling.”
“Should I recognize you?” You narrow your eyes at him.
“Oh, I don’t know.” He shrugs, mock-offended, but there’s a glint of amusement in his eyes. “I guess I’m only one of the most famous people in this city.”
You blink, a little thrown off. “…You’re a local weatherman?”
He chokes, eyes widening. “A what?!”
“You’re acting like I should know you,” you say, raising an eyebrow. “I don’t keep up with the news, but you definitely have the vibe of a guy who points at maps for a living.”
He definitely doesn’t. If anything, he looks more like a kooky stripper with an annoyingly fit body. But there’s no way you’re feeding his ego—this idiot would probably take it as a compliment.
For a split second, he just stares at you, his mouth hanging slightly open.
Then, as if the tension snaps, he howls—full-body laughter, throwing his head back and wiping a fake tear from his eye.
“Oh my God,” he wheezes, clutching his stomach. “This is the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
You cross your arms, trying to mask the irritation bubbling up. “Glad I could contribute to your morning entertainment.”
“No, you don’t get it,” he says between gasps for air, leaning forward with an infectious grin. “This is amazing. Incredible. I live for moments like this.”
You raise an eyebrow, your patience wearing thin. “Moments like what?” you snap, unable to hide the rising edge in your voice. Honestly, you’re just relieved Luke didn’t inherit Jack’s over-the-top, obnoxious personality. If he had, you probably would’ve bailed on this blind date five minutes in.
“Moments where I get to witness something so spectacularly awkward, so painfully embarrassing, that it will sustain me for weeks.”
You glare at him with pure annoyance. “I hate you already.”
He clutches his chest dramatically. “Ouch. That wounds me.”
“You’ll survive.”
“Oh, no doubt.” He smirks, and for a moment, it almost reminds you of Luke—though the two brothers couldn’t look more different. But that same confidante smile? It’s unmistakable. “Especially since I now have the upper hand in every conversation we ever have from here on out.”
“We’re never having another conversation after this!” You try to sound firm, but your voice cracks, betraying you.
He just grins wider, shaking his head like he’s heard that before. “That’s what you think.”
You exhale sharply, fed up with the entire exchange. “Look, I’m leaving. Forget you ever saw me.”
“Not a chance.” He leans back against the couch, thoroughly amused. “You’re trying to sneak out of my baby brother’s room like a damn criminal. This is gold.”
You scowl again. “I’m not sneaking out.” You fumble with your shoes, trying to get them on while defending yourself. Luckily, the hallway and living room are one open space, making your escape a bit less awkward.
“You literally just tiptoed past me like you’re starring in Mission Impossible.”
You groan. "I was trying not to wake him up." Rolling your eyes, you keep wrestling with your damn laces—of all times to betray you, it had to be now. Frustration bubbles up as you huff, "I need to go."
Jack cocks an eyebrow. "Why?"
You freeze mid-motion, exhaling hard through your nose. "...Just because."
"That's not an answer." His arms fold across his chest, his gaze pressing into you like he’s daring you to crack.
Your stomach twists. Heat rises to your face. You don’t want to say it, don’t want to give him the satisfaction—but the words rip out anyway.
“Because I just found out I slept with a 21-year-old, okay?! I’m 27. That’s a six-year difference! That’s a whole presidential term and a little extra! That’s a—”
You stop, realizing how ridiculous it sounds now that you're saying it.
Jack stares at you, blinking. There’s a long silence before you speak again, but his expression shows no understanding of the mental chaos you’re in.
You sigh and tug at your hair in frustration. “I wasn’t expecting this. I thought maybe he was older, and now… I just don’t know how to feel.”
Jack, for the first time, softens his teasing expression. But it’s clear he doesn’t quite get what you’re saying.
“Well,” he shrugs casually, “you’re still not leaving. You’re stuck here until Luke wakes up.”
“No, I’m not.” You shake your head, stubborn.
“Yes, you are!”
Before you can argue, you hear movement from the bedroom.
“Jack, why are you yelling?”
Shit.
You freeze.
Jack just grins wider.
You turn, and there he is—Luke, standing in the hallway, shirtless, hair an absolute mess, looking at you with adorable confusion.
Jack smirks. “Oh, you know. Just chatting with your date about how she was totally about to dip.”
“Wait. You’re leaving?” Luke’s voice is a mix of confusion and hurt, and suddenly, you feel a wave of guilt wash over you.
You shift awkwardly, caught in the middle of it all. “I just… didn’t want to wake you.”
Jack snickers. “Translation: she found out you’re barely legal and panicked.”
Luke’s eyes flick to his nightstand, where his wallet still sits open.
“…Wait. Is this about my age?" He sounds confused—adorably so. Too adorably.
You open your mouth, but Jack is already cackling.
“Oh, it absolutely is,” Jack says, shaking his head. “She took one look at that ID and nearly had a full-blown existential crisis.”
Your face flushes deep red. Jesus, you really can’t stand that blue-eyed bastard.
Luke blinks, then sighs, clearly frustrated a little bit. “So, last night was… amazing, but now it’s a problem because I’m 21?”
You shift uneasily. “It’s not a problem, exactly. It’s just…”
Jack grins mischievously. “Hilarious?”
You glare at him, a mix of embarrassment and irritation burning through you. “Not the word I was going for.”
Luke tilts his head, watching you closely. “Did it feel weird last night?”
Your face instantly flames. “LUKE.”
Jack cackles. “Ohhh my God, this is so good.”
Luke shrugs nonchalantly. “I’m just saying. You didn’t seem to mind my age when you were begging for—”
You lunge at him, quickly slapping a hand over his mouth. “Don’t. You. Dare.”
Jack, leaning in with barely contained joy, grins wider. “Oh, no, let’s hear it! This is the best! I live for this shit.”
You whip around, shooting daggers. “Do you really have to be here?”
Jack places a hand over his chest, feigning innocence. "Of course I do. I’m just the clueless bystander, watching your meltdown. It’s my duty as a brother. How else am I supposed to tease Lukey later?"
Luke licks his lips, glancing between you and Jack. “Wait… so you’re really freaking out over this?”
You sigh, your frustration starting to boil over. "I just… didn’t realize you were so young."
Jack snickers from the side, clearly enjoying himself. “Oh, no, I think she’s just overthinking it. But hey, it’s cute.”
Luke shoots him a glare. “Jack.”
Jack raises his hands, completely unbothered. “I’m just here to state the obvious.”
You groan, feeling a headache start to form at the base of your skull. "Can I just… go? Please?" The words come out sharper than you mean, but you’re too tired to care.
Luke looks at you, his gaze softening with that same sleepy affection from last night. You almost hate how it makes your chest ache. "You really want to leave?"
You pause for a long moment, considering.
And truthfully?
No.
You don’t.
Last night wasn’t just a fling—it was Luke.
Luke, who had you laughing through dinner, making you feel like you were the only person in the world. He treated you like you were someone worth admiring, someone worth cherishing. And when he kissed you, it felt like the first rainstorm after a drought, washing away everything but the two of you.
And now he’s standing there, messy-haired and sleepy-eyed, looking at you like he’s trying to figure out what’s going through your mind.
Jack, sensing the shift, leans back dramatically. “Ohhh, she’s thinking about it.”
You glare. “Shut up, Jack.”
Jack smirks like a little kid in the candy shop. “Nope.”
Luke lets out a heavy sigh, rubbing his face with both hands, his puppy like eyes softening as he looks at you. "Alright," he mutters, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Let me make you breakfast before you decide I’m too young to function."
Jack perks up from the couch. “Oh, hell yeah. Stay. Luke makes a mean omelet.”
Luke shoots Jack a teasing glare, his eyes rolling in exasperation as he half-smirks. "Why are you even involved in this?" he says, clearly annoyed but with a playful edge, like he can’t decide if he should laugh or strangle his brother.
Jack shrugs dramatically. “Because I live for chaos.”
You hesitate for a moment, staring at Luke as you battle the urge to stay or run.
“…Fine. One omelet.”
Jack fist-pumps the air. “YES.”
Luke grins like he’s already won. “Good. Because I was going to make you stay anyway.”
—
You don’t know how you ended up here.
One second, you were committed to sneaking out like a thief in the night. The next?
You’re standing in Luke Hughes’ kitchen, watching him move around with annoying ease, pulling eggs and cheese out of the fridge like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Jack, of course, is sitting at the kitchen island, grinning like the mischievous idiot he is.
“You look tense,” he observes, propping his chin in his hand and resting his elbows on his knees. “Regretting staying already?”
You shoot him a withering look. “I regret a lot of things. Letting you talk this morning is at the top of the list.”
Jack gasps dramatically, clutching his chest. “Ouch. And here I was, being such a warm and welcoming host.”
You roll your eyes. “You ambushed me.”
Jack shrugs casually, sipping his coffee. “Semantics.”
Luke, bless him, doesn’t engage. He simply smirks to himself as he cracks an egg into a pan, clearly used to Jack’s shenanigans. “Jack, are you actually gonna eat, or are you just here to be annoying?”
“Oh, I ate already. I’m just here for the show.”
You narrow your eyes at him, a smirk playing at the corner of your mouth. “Seriously, what’s your deal? You get some kind of thrill out of torturing me?”
He’s an asshole, but damn, he’s the kind of asshole that almost makes you laugh.
Jack flashes a devilish grin, clearly enjoying the chaos he's creating. "You're sharp. I like that. Smart women are way more fun to mess with." He leans back, arms crossed, his eyes twinkling with mischief as if he's already plotting his next move.
Luke huffs a laugh, the sound full of fond exasperation. He rolls his eyes, his messy hair falling into his face as he nudges Jack with his shoulder. “Just ignore him. He thrives on being a menace,” he says, shaking his head, but you can tell he's not actually mad.
Jack grins even wider, clearly proud of himself. “Yep. It’s what I do best,” he says, puffing out his chest like he’s just announced some kind of grand achievement.
You rest your elbows on the table, watching as Luke flips an omelet with impressive skill. “Okay, I’ll bite—how did you get so good at this?”
“Gotta learn some life skills when you live with Jack. Otherwise, you starve." He shoots his brother a pointed look, one that’s half annoyance, half fondness.
Jack scoffs, dramatically pressing a hand to his chest like he’s been wronged. "That’s unfair. I provide entertainment." His voice is teasing, but there’s a clear twinkle in his eye.
Luke snorts, barely stifling a laugh. "Entertainment doesn’t make up for the fact that you once tried to microwave a frozen pizza."
Your head snaps up at that, eyebrows shooting up in disbelief. "I’m sorry, what?"
Jack groans, cheeks flushing with a rare hint of embarrassment. "It was one time, and the oven took too long!" he mutters defensively, but you can see the red creeping up his neck.
Luke smirks, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he gestures vaguely toward the stove. "You almost burned the apartment down," he points out, no trace of sympathy in his voice.
Jack waves a dismissive hand. "That’s an exaggeration," he says, clearly attempting to downplay the incident, but his voice betrays the tiniest hint of guilt.
Luke shoots you a sly look, his eyes dancing with amusement as he leans in, like he’s about to let you in on a secret. “The microwave was smoking,” he adds, his voice dropping low, the tone almost playful—like he’s about to drop some juicy gossip.
Your jaw drops in disbelief. "Oh my God."
Luke, clearly pleased with the chaos he’s caused, gestures at Jack with the spatula like he’s just won some kind of victory. "See? This is why I learned how to cook."
Jack grins wide, unbothered. "And I get to reap the benefits, so really, we both win," he says with a cheeky shrug, as if his utter lack of skill somehow balances out Luke’s culinary expertise.
You laugh, shaking your head in disbelief. "I don’t know how you put up with him."
Luke smirks,"It’s a daily struggle," he says, voice deadpan, but the small curve of his lips gives away the amusement he’s trying to hide.
Jack grins, shaking his head slightly. “Oh, the betrayal. I’m crushed,” he says, his voice dripping with sarcasm, though the smirk gives him away.
Luke just rolls his eyes and slides the finished omelet onto a plate before setting it down in front of you.
You look down at it, genuinely impressed by how perfect it looks. Then, you glance back at Luke, a little taken aback. "Not gonna lie… this looks really good."
Luke’s grin widens, his eyes briefly locking with yours, the kind of connection that makes the moment feel charged. "Told you."
You pick up your fork, still a little skeptical, and take a bite. Holy hell.
Your eyes go wide in surprise. "Oh my God. This is actually amazing."
Jack leans in, looking smug...again. "See? I wasn’t lying." He gives you a little wink, clearly basking in the moment like he’s somehow been proven right.
Luke smirks, pleased by the compliment. “I take my breakfast very seriously.”
“Clearly. This might be the best decision I’ve made today.” You shake your head, chewing.
Jack gasps dramatically. “Wow. So staying was a better decision than leaving?”
You pause, realizing what you just admitted.
Jack grins like he’s just scored a win, and for a second, you seriously consider wiping that smug look off his face.
Luke’s smile, however, is filled with pure happiness, as if this moment is exactly what he’s been waiting for.
You sigh, stabbing your omelet. “I’m never gonna live this down, am I?”
Jack beams. “Absolutely not.”
Luke leans closer, his voice suddenly lower, more intimate. “I mean, I’m glad you stayed. It’s not every day I get a pretty girl in my kitchen, making my morning way more interesting.”
You freeze, fork halfway to your mouth. His words hang in the air, electric.
“Oh, so now I’m ‘pretty,’ huh?” you tease, trying to maintain your composure, though your heart skips a beat.
Luke raises an eyebrow, a slow, confident smile curling on his lips. “Oh, I thought that was obvious.” His gaze flickers down to your lips, his voice dropping even lower. “You’ve been keeping me on my toes since I woke up.”
Your cheeks warm, but you force yourself to look away, focusing on your omelet. “Flattery won’t make me forget about you being 21.”
Luke’s grin widens, and he leans in a little closer, lowering his voice just enough that only you can hear. “Maybe not. But I think it’s a pretty good start.”
Jack, completely oblivious to the flirtation unfolding right under his nose, leans back on the kitchen island with a self-satisfied grin. “God, I can’t believe I’m witnessing this. I thought I was supposed to be the one who charmed the ladies.”
Luke snorts, rolling his eyes at his brother but keeping his focus on you. “Jack’s the type to talk about it. I’m the type to show it.”
Your breath catches in your throat. That was smooth. Really smooth.
You take another bite of your omelet, trying to hide the smile spreading across your face. “You sure you don’t just want me to stay for the food?”
Luke leans back, his gaze softening as he gently takes your left hand in his, his thumb slowly tracing circles over your knuckles. “I mean… if that’s your only reason for sticking around, I won’t complain,” he murmurs, a playful yet tender smile curving his lips. “But I like to think I’ve got more to offer than just my cooking skills.”
His words, along with the warmth in his eyes, wash over you like a wave, pulling you in deeper. You lock eyes with him, your breath catching as your pulse quickens. There’s something in the way he’s looking at you, something that makes it impossible to think straight.
Then Jack clears his throat loudly, and you break the spell, feeling a little embarrassed.
“Alright, alright,” Jack says, clearly enjoying the discomfort he’s just caused. “I’ll leave you two lovebirds alone so you can finish your breakfast in peace. No need to make me a third wheel.”
You roll your eyes, but Luke doesn’t seem to mind. He just shrugs, unfazed.
“Good idea. Go entertain yourself, Jack.”
Jack winks. “Don’t mind if I do.” He stands up and heads for the door, adding, “You two just make sure to keep it PG—some of us don’t need to see that much chemistry before our coffee kicks in.”
You watch as Jack exits, still grinning like the mischievous brat he is.
As the door clicks behind Jack, the quiet of the kitchen settles in, leaving just you and Luke alone, the lingering tension between you two impossible to ignore. Luke shifts, his hands still resting on your hands as he pulls you gently into his lap. Your heart beats a little faster at the sudden closeness, but you refuse to let the thrill of it distract you from the conversation you know needs to happen.
You take a deep breath, looking up into his eyes—eyes that are soft but hold that familiar spark of mischief, the kind that makes it hard to think straight. He tilts his head slightly, a playful smirk tugging at his lips as he runs his thumb over your hand, tracing slow circles. The warmth of his touch makes your breath hitch, but you bite your lip, determined to have this talk.
“Luke,” you start, your voice softer than you intended, “We need to talk about last night. About... us.”
Luke's expression changes, the playful gleam fading into something more intense. He doesn’t pull away, though. Instead, he tightens his grip on your waist, pulling you just a little closer, and his voice drops an octave. “I thought we were past talking. I thought we were just... enjoying each other.”
His words make your pulse quicken, but you hold firm. You need to address this.
“I’m serious,” you say, your voice steady, though your chest betrays you with its nervous flutter. “I need to know where this is going, Luke. You’re 21, I’m 27. That’s a six-year difference. I’ve been through more in my life. I want a family soon. I want stability. Not... something fleeting.”
Luke’s gaze darkens, and his thumb continues its slow, soothing motion over your skin, but there’s a new intensity in his eyes. He’s quiet for a moment, absorbing your words. The air feels thick with unspoken thoughts, the weight of what you’ve just said hanging between you.
“You think I don’t want the same things?” he asks, his voice steady but with a sharp edge, not defensive—more... thoughtful. “I’m not some kid just looking for a fling. I’ve thought this through. I’m looking for something real. I’ve spent too much time in meaningless situations to want that anymore. I went to our date because I was looking for something serious. And my friend told me you’d be looking for the same thing.”
He lets your words settle, his eyes never leaving yours. “After spending the night talking with you, I felt like I wasn’t just talking to someone who’s interesting—I felt like I was talking to someone who gets it. Someone who’s looking for the same kind of connection. I’m not here for something that’ll fizzle out in a few weeks. I’m here because... I think you might be the person I’ve been waiting for.”
His words hit you in a way you weren’t prepared for. You’re caught off guard, unsure how to respond, but something stirs inside you. Something warm, something you didn’t expect. You can feel the truth of what he’s saying in your chest, and for the first time, you start to question the assumptions you’d made.
“Yeah, but you’re still figuring things out,” you say, your voice shaky now, a trace of worry creeping in. “You’re just starting out in life. Maybe you don’t want the same kind of commitment I do. I need someone who’s already ready to settle down.”
Luke doesn’t hesitate. His fingers slide up to your jaw, his touch firm but tender, like he’s grounding you to the moment. His gaze holds yours, no longer playful, but filled with something deeper. Something real.
“I’m ready for that,” he murmurs, his voice soft but full of conviction. “I know what I want. And I want you. If you’re worried about my age, let me show you I’m more than just a number.”
His words are almost a whisper, but there’s a quiet confidence in them that sends a thrill through you. His lips are so close now, you can feel his breath on your skin as he leans in, his forehead resting against yours. “I’m not asking for a lifetime yet, but I’m asking for the chance to prove myself. To prove that I’m capable of giving you the kind of future you want.”
You close your eyes, your breath catching in your throat. He’s not backing down, and the sincerity in his words leaves you no room to doubt him. But still, you can’t help but voice the doubts that swirl in your mind.
“I don’t want to get hurt, Luke,” you whisper, finally letting yourself admit the fear you’ve been pushing down. “I’ve been through enough heartache. And if you don’t want the same things I do, if you’re not ready for it... I don’t know if I can take that risk.”
Luke leans in just a little more, his lips brushing against your cheek before he pulls back slightly, his hands cradling your face. He’s close enough that you can feel the warmth of his skin, the steadiness of his gaze. “I’m ready for you. Ready for everything that comes with it,” he says, his voice resolute. “I wouldn’t be here, sitting with you like this, if I wasn’t.”
You search his eyes for any sign of hesitation, but there’s none. What you see instead is determination—an unspoken promise that, for all his age, he knows what he wants and is willing to fight for it.
The air between you two shifts, the quiet between you no longer heavy with doubt, but filled with something new. Something that makes your pulse race.
“Okay,” you whisper, your voice barely audible. “Then show me.”
At that, his lips crash against yours, the kiss deep and slow, filled with all the unspoken things you’ve both been dancing around. His hands slide to your back, pulling you closer as the kiss deepens. Your hands find their way to his curls, tugging him in as if you can’t get close enough. The world around you fades away—there’s only the feeling of his mouth against yours, the pressure of his body against yours, the shared certainty that whatever this is, it’s more than just physical.
When you finally pull away, both breathless, Luke grins, his forehead resting against yours.
Luke leans back a little bit, his eyes gleaming with that mischievous glint as he watches you, a teasing smile playing at the corners of his lips. "You know," he says casually, his voice thick with satisfaction, "I have to admit... I’ve never had a night quite like that. You really know how to use that beautiful mouth of yours."
You glance over at him, raising an eyebrow. "Oh? What do you mean?"
Luke shifts a little closer, his grin widening. "Well, I’ve had my fair share of nights, but... last night? You...You were next level. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to be that blown away."
You feel your cheeks flush, a mix of embarrassment and flattery. "Really? Well, I kinda feel the same. I’ve never... finished two times in one night."
Luke’s eyes narrow in surprise. "What?! Baby, that wasn’t even that much. I think we can go for four or five next time." He winks, his tone playful, but there's a hint of challenge in his voice.
You laugh, trying to hide the blush creeping up your neck. "Is that so? You really think you can keep up?"
Luke smirks, leaning in just a little closer, his voice low and confident. "Oh, I’m definitely up for the challenge. You just wait."
You raise an eyebrow, a teasing smile forming on your lips. "Maybe this whole 'young boyfriend' thing isn’t such a bad idea after all... Good stamina and all that."
Luke grins, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Told ya!" He leans in, planting a series of quick, soft kisses across your face and neck, each one sending a delightful shiver through your skin. You can't help but laugh at his actions, brushing your nose against his cheek as your giggles mix with his gentle kisses.
Just as you're starting to recover from his playful assault, a voice slices through the moment like an ice-cold splash of water.
"Can you drop the sex talk, guys?" Jack's voice rings out from the kitchen doorway, dripping with disgust but clearly amused by the whole situation. "I didn’t need to know this much about my little brother."
You freeze, eyes wide, before you turn to Luke, who looks utterly unfazed, that smug, victorious grin plastered across his face. It’s as if he’s just won some kind of prize, and he's wearing it like a badge of honor.
Embarrassment creeps up your neck, but before you can even process the awkwardness, you find yourself laughing. The tension dissolves in the shared amusement of the moment. Luke just shrugs casually, looking way too pleased with himself.
"Relax, Jack. It’s called maturity," you reply with a wink, and Luke chuckles, pressing another kiss to your cheek.
Jack groans dramatically, rolling his eyes. "You two are gross. And seriously, for the future, we need some rules. These walls are way too thin. I do not need to hear you two in action. Thank God I wasn’t home yesterday."
You let out a horrified gasp, hiding your face in Luke’s neck. "Jesus, Jack," you mumble, half laughing, half mortified.
Luke just keeps laughing, clearly entertained by the situation. "You heard nothing. Just a couple of adults figuring things out," he teases.
Jack mutters something under his breath before calling out with a playful, exaggerated gag. "God, I need to vomit. You two are so disgusting."
"Guess this means you're sticking around, huh?" Luke whispers against your mouth, his voice low and warm, sending another wave of heat through you.
You nod, content, leaning into him with a soft smile. "Guess so," you murmur, brushing your lips against his in return.
Jack, clearly fed up with the display, huffs dramatically and walks away with an exaggerated sigh. "You two are the worst."
As he exits, you look up at Luke, feeling that warmth in your chest—the comfort, the excitement, all mixed together. You can get used to mornings like this, even if it means dealing with Jack’s teasing. Or, you think with a smirk, maybe you’ll just strangle him in his sleep. Problem solved.
Luke catches the glint in your eye and chuckles, clearly knowing exactly what you’re thinking.
“Careful,” he says with a playful smirk, “I’d hate to lose my new favourite person just because you can’t handle my brother.”
You laugh, pulling him in for one last kiss.

masterlist.
“JJ!” You exclaim, skipping through the Chateau, looking for your boyfriend. The air is sticky, filled with the smell of wood, salt, and beer.
You make your way through the living room and spot your boyfriend in the back, lying on one of the hammocks.
He covers his face with his arm, slowly bujając się.
“Jay, you have to hear this!”
JJ sits up the second he hears your voice, his eyes almost shut. “Hi, baby.”
He extends his arms, and you quickly hug him, leaving a peck on his lips.
“Okay, so you better hold on to this hammock, because—”
“Woah, woah. Wait,” he says, rubbing his eyes and ruszając się, trying to give you some space. “What’s going on?”
You grit your teeth while sitting on the edge of the worn-out material, not being able to keep this to yourself any longer. “Ugh, remember when I told you my mom asked me to go help the Jones? They just moved back here but without Ben.”
JJ furrows his brows, “Ben? The father…?”
You nod, “Yes! Well, their daughter is our age, and, by the way, she’s super sweet! Maybe I should invite her over here—”
“You’re drifting off the topic, baby.” JJ reminds you, now fully awake and interested in your story.
“Yeah, right. When I got there, she seemed kinda sad and annoyed, so as the good person that I am, I asked her what was wrong, and she spilled the whole tea! Everything!” You ramble, animating with your arms, and JJ watches your every move with a slight smile, clearly amused.
“She said her father cheated on Ms. Jones with a girl who’s barely 20! Do you understand that?!”
JJ giggles under his breath, lying back down. “Yeah. That’s so fucking messed up…”
“Right?” you say before you take a deep breath, “She mentioned that that side chick used to live here and that we might know her, but i have no idea who could that be.”
“Damn, you gossip like an old lady.” Your boyfriend says, pulling you to his chest. You gasp, dramatically placing your hand on your heart.
“I will find out. I mean, who cheats on such a beautiful woman like Ms. Jones? Especially this… this Ben? He looks like he sneaked onto the Earth—”
“Woah, woah, chill!”
You sit on the couch in your living room, sipping the juice from the recipe you just tried out and trying to get through a book when you get a notification.
With a sigh, you reach for your phone to read the message you got from JJ. He’s supposed to pick up his hoodie, which he left there last week.
A few minutes later the comfortable silence gets broken with the loud ring of the bell.
JJ doesn’t even hesitate, he just comes in without a second thought. You take a look at his face and can immediately tell he’s not in the best mood. He immediately comes up to you.
“Hi,” you say as he leans in to kiss the top of your head. “What’s up?”
He grunts, “I had to go and fix the AC at the Jones house. They were talking so fucking loud my head feels like exploding—”
You let out a gasp, and your eyes glisten. “At the Jones? What were they talking about?”
JJ squints his eyes, “Uhh I don’t know? I stopped paying attention after some man joined in.”
You look at him, disappointment mixed with disbelief. “Are you serious?”
“Well, yeah, they were arguing so I just did my thing and left.”
You groan. “You are kidding me. JJ, you could’ve heard something about the drama!”
He widens his eyes, a sheepish smile crawling onto his lips. “Ohhh, right… I’m sorry, baby.”
Your lips form into a pout, and JJ raises his eyebrows. “Nuh-uh, don’t pout at me for this. I’m not a gossiper, you know that.”
“Well, I know, I know…”
“But I promise I’ll tell you anything I hear.”
You sigh and hug him, breathing in his scent. “You better.”
You don’t even know when did you drift off to sleep, sitting on the back porch at the Chateau. The soft breeze and whistles of wind put you to sleep like a lullaby.
The front doors close with a loud crack, announcing that JJ has returned from the shop. You and the Pogues were supposed to have dinner tonight, and your boyfriend had to go and buy all the missing ingredients.
“Baby, you won’t believe it!”
You slowly open your eyes, eyelids fluttering from the orange sunset sky. You hum, and JJ runs outside, the grocery bag still in his hand.
“Did you get everything?” You ask, stretching your arms with a yawn.
“Yeah, I think so, anyway…” He speaks so fast you have to gain your consciousness quickly in order to understand what he’s saying. “Guess who I met at the store!”
You squint, trying to come up with a name in your mind, still fogged up with sleep. “Rafe?”
JJ shakes his head and you click your tongue.
“Topper?”
“No!” he gets a bit frustrated, a sight that makes you laugh. “What was a thing you were super invested in?”
Your eyes widen. “The Jones?”
JJ’s grin grows even wider. “Yes! Oh my God, would you believe that the man I saw is actually Ms. Jones’ new boyfriend? And that’s not the best part. He’s Ben’s cousin who’s much more successful too! This man owns four different restaurants and has three houses in Asia, Europe, and South America. He’s crazy rich!”
You gasp. “Wow. You really clocked all of this, didn’t you?”
He looks at you, a proud look on his face. “Duh. It was so much fun!”
JJ starts to tell you the story about how he had to follow them in different isles to hear everything and in the meantime, you check the grocery bag.
“…Then they moved to the dairy fridges, so naturally I went after them and—”
“JJ.”
“Huh?”
“You forgot half of the products...”

Practice makes perfect
Agatha makes you build up your stamina until she actually lets you fuck her
Word count: 4.3k
Warnings: g!p reader, virgin!reader, sex, age gap, fleshlight, degradation, humiliation kink, Agatha is MEAN and reader very much gets off on it, premature ejaculation, masturbation, reader is a walking HR violation, cumming in pants
When Agatha Harkness finds out you’re a virgin, she actually laughs.
You’re a junior in college interning at your dad’s multi-billion dollar company over the summer, a nepo-baby at its finest, and so what if you have the hots for the general counsel? So what if you get hard every single time she even looks in your direction?
You try to flirt with her, you’re as bold as you can be without her going straight to HR, and yet she barely even gives you the time of day. Deep down, you can tell she likes you though. She humors you and doesn’t tell you to shut up whenever you start to talk, so that must mean something. The two of you have formed quite the relationship since the summer started, with you saying the filthiest things to her and her brushing them off as if they were casual anecdotes.
“I’d make you feel so good, Agatha,” you tell her one day. “I’ll fill you up so nicely.”
It might be pushing the limits — it’s your third pathetic attempt this day at getting her to reciprocate, but she’s used to it by now; it hardly even fazes her. Everyone in the office knows that their boss’s daughter has a cock, and they also know that their boss’s daughter has a filthy mouth, always saying something vulgar and sarcastic. No one takes anything that comes from your lips as serious. You’ve been called a spoiled, entitled, rich bitch, told that you’re heartless for not giving a damn about anything, expelled from three high schools for the explicit jokes that you make.
But your “jokes” to Agatha are the only thing you’re serious about.
She scoffs and rolls her eyes; at twenty-five years your senior, she has had plenty of experience with girls that promise her the world and barely deliver on any said promises made. “I’m not some quick college lay that lets you rub my upper thigh and pretends that you’ve found my clit, you know.”
It’s your turn to scowl. “Who do you think I am?” you ask and she fixes you with a pointed glare from behind her desk. “I know where the clit is.”
“How many women have you actually satisfied?” she asks and your cheeks heat up. You figured it would come up eventually, but now you don’t actually want to answer. You duck your head and Agatha makes a noise, not exactly surprised, but almost disappointed. “You think I’m going to let a virgin fuck me? You probably wouldn’t even last two seconds inside me.”
“Hey, I’d last longer than that,” you snap, your head shooting back up to look at her incredulously. You can feel a slight stirring in your lower stomach at the thought of blowing your load the instant she gets inside you and how she would most definitely mock you for it.
Agatha raises an eyebrow and chuckles cruelly. “Honey, please. Go back to your desk and get your work done. I’m definitely not having sex with someone who can’t finish reading over a simple contract.”
“Ha ha,” you deadpan, and she makes a face at you before you get up out of the chair in front of her desk you were lounging in. “Might have to go to the bathroom real quick and jerk one off though.”
She crinkles her nose and waves her hand at you dismissively and you think that you’ve just blown all your chances with her. She’s definitely not going to want to fuck you now. There is some speculation floating around about your lack of experience and that’s why you overcompensate with the explicit things you say — libel you tell them, but deep down it’s accurate — and if Agatha, who has certainly had her fair share of partners, knows it’s real, then she for sure won’t waste her time with you.
So you go back to your desk and begrudgingly get all your work done, emailing Agatha your thoughts about the contracts when you’re all done. She sends back a Very good job, y/n and you hate to admit that it gets you hard. You’d like nothing more than to go fuck yourself in the restroom but you stay at your cubicle until Agatha walks by so you can see her before she leaves for the day.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?” you call after her as she breezes by your desk without saying a word. It’s the last day of the third fiscal quarter today, and as a reward, tomorrow your dad is bringing his executive staff to your beach house in The Hamptons for a week. Because you’re part of the family, you get to attend, but none of the other interns do.
It’s been this way since you were little, but only recently did you start to notice how attractive Agatha was. The way she takes absolutely no shit from anyone, even from your dad. The way she coolly holds her ground in the face of IRS audits, FBI raids, and anything else that got thrown at her. The way she raises an eyebrow at you when you say something stupid and it makes your cock hard in seconds. Everything about her drives you fucking wild.
Agatha lifts a hand up in response, not even bothering to look over her shoulder at you, and your pants tighten almost uncomfortably.
The second you get back to your apartment, you undo your belt and unzip your pants, reaching inside to take out your hard and leaking cock. Your hips thrust forward at the warmth from your hand and you gasp, the pleasure already dizzying. You think about Agatha on her knees in front of you, looking up at you through her glasses, telling you that you’re just a pathetic slut who will never be able to make her feel good.
It takes three strokes of your hand before you grunt and your cock pumps out three long spurts of cum all over the kitchen counter. You grab a paper towel, dampen it, and then wipe up your mess before going to take a shower.
You might have a serious problem.
And it’s only going to get worse this week. An entire seven days where you’re going to be around her. There isn’t a doubt in your mind that you’re going to be hard for most of it. Is there a record for the most times a person has cum in a day? Because you think you might break it.
That night, you have a dream about Agatha, as many of your dreams are. She’s sitting in a chair right by the bed, legs outstretched and open and her feet are resting on the duvet. You’re laying stomach-down, cock hard between your body and the covers, mouth watering. Agatha is completely naked, her cunt glistening, and the dream is so realistic that you can smell her. She laughs when you groan pitifully.
Then she buries two fingers inside her and your hips lurch against the bed, gasping at the stimulation on your cock.
“Look at you, humping the bed like a bitch in heat,” she snarls and your rhythm stutters. You garble out something incoherently and she laughs before rubbing her clit with her other hand. “Can’t even fuck me right, so I have to do it myself.”
You moan loudly, grinding against the bed furiously, and she picks up her thrusts to match your face. “I can, please, I want to,” you beg before she cums all over her fingers. She pulls them out of her and then slides them into your mouth and you cum all over the bed and your stomach.
When you jerk awake right after that, the first thing you notice is how sticky you are. You must have cum in your underwear from just your dream and it’s just further evidence of how completely fucked you are for the next week.
There will certainly be no swimming for you because you don’t need the entire executive board and your father knowing that you’re getting hard for the forty-six year old general counsel.
But fuck, Agatha in a swim suit —
You cut yourself off from the thought because you don’t have enough time to get worked up again.
Good thing too, because by the time you do get yourself all cleaned up from your little nighttime accident, you have to leave to get to the helicopters.
There’s no sign of Agatha yet so you make awkward small talk with Rio Vidal, the head of Human Resources, because you have nothing better to do. She’s new and attractive, but no one gets your cock stirring like Agatha. You wonder if it’s the fact that she’s older and it taps into your mommy issues, or the fact that she can cut you down with a simple sentence and you’ve found that you have a huge thing for degradation, or the fact that she’s never going to let you touch her no matter how hard you beg.
She drives you crazy and you fucking need her.
Finally, Agatha pulls up in a company car and gets out, wearing a gray pantsuit, and you already feel your face heating up. She gets into one of the two helicopters without even looking at you and you make a beeline for it before your dad stops you and pulls you into the other one. You can’t exactly tell him that you want to be next to his general counsel, so you grumble to yourself before agreeing.
It takes only about forty-five minutes to get to the house and the next hour is full of unpacking and the wait staff running around, trying to get everyone everything they need.
Lunch is served and everyone gathers in the dining room except for Agatha, so you excuse yourself and try to go find her.
You’re just “happening” to be walking by her room when she opens the door to step out, almost bumping into you.
“Your quick solo session take a bit too long?” you ask crassly, delighting in the way her eyes roll exasperatedly. “Next time, give me a call and I’ll get you there quickly.”
She starts walking to the dining room, leaving you behind so you have to speed to catch up. “If I ever want someone to cum after three pumps inside me and leave me even more unsatisfied than I was before, I’ll make sure to let you know.”
“Hey, I’d lay you badly, but I’d lay you gladly,” you say as seductively as possible and she snorts. “Come on, you gotta admit you’ve at least thought about it.”
Agatha spares you a glance. “When I’m trying not to cum. It’s a real turn-off for me personally.”
You also love how she gives as good as she gets. “Please?” you ask, whine, beg. “I’ll be so good for you — I’ll make you feel so good.”
She sniffs and rakes her eyes over your body, pausing at the outline of your cock through your pants. Before you even realize what’s happening, she’s pushed you against the wall and her hand cups your cock and you gasp while bucking into her touch.
“Really?” Agatha chuckles. You make a muffled sound and try to grind up and she rubs her palm against you, making you throb. “You think you could make me feel good with your cock that’s already about to cum for me?”
“Yes,” you choke out and she squeezes harder. You’re panting open-mouthed now, trying so hard to hold back from your release.
She is completely unaffected as she leans in to whisper, “You’re so fucking pathetic,” into your ear and you whimper, your stomach twists, and your cock pulses before pumping loads of cum into your pants. You chant swears under your breath while you cling to her arms for dear life and she watches amusedly as a stain spreads on your pants.
You’ve never been more of a mess in your life and she just smirks smugly before giving your cock a patronizing pat.
“I’ll tell your dad you’ll be a little late to lunch.” And then she walks away, leaving you completely agape against the wall, cock still twitching in your pants.
It’s hard to make eye contact with her the rest of the day without heat flushing through your cheeks and the memory of what she did to you making your cock stir.
The second you can escape after dinner, you do. You fully intend on spending the rest of the night fucking yourself silly and trying to rid your brain of Agatha.
But around ten, there’s a knock on your door and you swing it open to find Agatha standing there in silk, navy pajamas and black glasses. Your jaw drops open and she brushes right past you to walk into your room and tosses something on the bed.
A fleshlight.
“What—” you start to say, but you can’t even finish your question because all the blood in your brain has rushed down to your cock in record time.
Agatha turns to face you, hands on her hips, lips pursed. “Show me that you can last five minutes with it—” nods at the toy, “—and we’ll see about me letting your cock anywhere close to me.”
Your breaths come out staggered and you stumble over to the bed, head spinning. There’s no way this is actually happening. You shove down your sweatpants and boxers and your cock bobs up, rigid and hard and leaking copious amounts of precum.
“God, already?” she snorts and your cock twitches. “You’re so fucking desperate, aren’t you?”
A muffled whimper escapes your lips and you give yourself a quick stroke. “Fuck.” You reach for the fleshlight, heat completely overwhelming your body, but she stops you first.
“Spit on yourself,” she orders and you watch her with wide and pleading eyes as a strand of saliva drops from your mouth onto your cock. You feel like you’re in a trance as you spread it out along your length, the wetness of your spit and precum coating your cock and making it glisten in no time. “Fucking pathetic.”
Her jeers only make you harder and this time, she doesn’t object when you grab the toy. You think you can hear her sharply inhale when you drag your cock against the fake pussy lips and you already know there’s no fucking way you’re going to last one minute, let alone five.
“Wanna fuck you like this,” you babble before pushing your tip in and instantly freezing at the silicone ridges squeezing around you. You sigh heavily before your breathing quickens and you’re practically panting by the time you get your entire cock inside the fleshlight.
Agatha’s face is unreadable. “I’m impressed you made it in,” she says, coldly and completely dry, and it makes you thrust into it. It feels so good, even though it’s just a cold, plastic toy and you can only imagine how the real thing would feel. “Well, get on with it. Chop chop, honey. I haven’t got all night to watch your sorry attempt at proving you can fuck me.”
You grunt and start moving your cock in and out of the toy, whines falling out of you, and you have to squeeze your eyes shut to focus on not cumming too soon. You want to last — you need to last for her, because she might actually let you touch her if you.
“Ah ah,” she tuts and your cock throbs. “Open your eyes.”
You obey, and the moment you see her, see the slight redness of her cheeks, you know you fucked up.
With a loud grunt, you cum in the toy, filling it with so much of your seed that it spills out of the fake cunt and drips onto the floor as you continue snapping your hips up.
Agatha laughs and walks straight to the door. “Not even thirty seconds. Maybe next time.”
You are absolutely fucked.
The next night, you’re almost to two minutes while desperately trying to think of anything else other than Agatha standing right there. She’s watching intently, like she’s studying your technique and critiquing it in her head, and you’re doing really well — you think you might actually have a chance to get to five. The secret is thinking about all the boring contracts you had to read this summer to keep your mind off the overwhelming pleasure you’re getting from the toy.
But then Agatha steps closer to you, runs a finger over your lips and down to cup your breast, and says, “God, you really are just a baby, aren’t you?” so sickly sweet.
It makes you curse before filling the toy up again, your body completely betraying you.
“That wasn’t fucking fair,” you try to argue.
She sticks out her bottom lip in an exaggerated pout. “Oh, honey,” she coos and it’s so fucking condescending. Your cock twitches inside the toy. “It’s not my fault you’re so pathetic you can’t control yourself.”
“Yes, it is,” you whine and she rolls her eyes.
“We’ll try again tomorrow. Maybe you should cum before I get here so you might have a chance at lasting for five minutes,” she taunts and you’re too embarrassed to tell her that you already got off before she came tonight. Clearly it did not work.
You figure that maybe you just need to cum more throughout the day to build up some stamina. You fuck yourself with the fleshlight in the morning after you wake up with morning wood because surprise, surprise: you had another dream about Agatha. When she takes a sip of her orange juice at breakfast, eyes flicking up to meet yours as she sucks on the straw, you have to excuse yourself to go to the bathroom and it only takes you about six strokes before you’re cumming all over your hand. It’s a long day of lounging around the pool and hushed conversations, and the moment Agatha steps out onto the desk in a sensible one-piece, you have to wrap a towel around your waist so no one sees your erection through your swim trunks to run back to your room, hastily saying that you forgot sunscreen. You cum into the fleshlight in about three minutes.
And about thirty minutes before she shows up to your room at 10 pm on the dot, you have another quick session with your hand.
You are absolutely determined tonight.
When she strolls in through the door, the air is different. She’s carrying a glass of Scotch and you snatch it as she walks past you, downing the rest in one sip.
“Are you even old enough to drink?” she asks, eyebrow raised and giving you a once over.
You laugh sarcastically before setting the cup down on the nightstand and tearing your shirt off over your head, not missing the way her gaze flicks down to your nipples. Usually, you just take your boxers off, but tonight, you want her to see all of you.
“A little arrogant, hm?”
Nodding your head, you spit onto your cock and stroke it to full hardness. This is also the first time you haven’t had a raging erection the second she arrived. Before she can say anything, you’ve grabbed the fleshlight and started thrusting your cock into it. It feels good, but you’ve become so desensitized to it, just from today, that you’re feeling more confident than ever.
Agatha realizes this, sees it on your face. “Wow, look at my slut,” she croones. “She finally learned how to fuck herself. Doesn’t mean you can fuck someone else though. I bet the moment you get inside me, you’ll cum because you’re too fucking pathetic to actually make me feel good.”
The degradation goes straight to your cock and you grunt, pausing for a second before resuming. The smirk on her face is as frustrating as it is hot and only makes it harder to think clearly.
“You’re just a worthless little whore, aren’t you?” she snarls and your breaths become shallow and your thrusts become more like quick ruts into the toy.
“Yes, fuck,” you moan quietly, tightly, and god she’s not playing fair at all. The toy is squeezing you so hard and it’s becoming tougher to keep fucking it, but the prize of getting to be inside Agatha is so close if you can just hang on.
She scoffs sharply but you can see the heat on her face. Fuck. She likes this. “How are you not absolutely humiliated by yourself and how desperate you are?” she says, getting meaner, and precum is leaking out of the toy each time you drive your cock back into the toy. If you weren’t actively using all of your effort to keep from cumming, you think you would’ve filled up the fleshlight at least three times by now. Agatha is trying so hard to break you, but you refuse.
The most excruciating five minutes of your life finally end, and you are so fucking triumphant. “We had a deal,” you remind her hoarsely.
“Stop acting like lasting five minutes is an accomplishment,” she scorns and you have to pull the toy off your aching erection or you actually might cum. Your cock bobs up and down, trails of precum dripping onto the floor and down your length. You’ve made such a mess. “Get on the bed,” she orders, and your heart stops.
You lay on the duvet, resting your back against the pillows, and watch with bated breath as Agatha slowly unbuttons her pajama shirt. You whine when you can see her tits, round and perky, and you need to get her rosy nipples in your mouth immediately. She takes off her shorts and you can’t help but hump the air, your cock engorged and neglected.
“Please,” you sob. “It hurts so fucking bad.”
She mockingly coos and then climbs onto the bed with her underwear still on, straddles your hips, and she slowly grinds against your cock. A loud, high-pitched keen tears itself out of your mouth and you buck up into her, but she tsks and hovers above you. “Patience, pet,” she says and there are literal tears in your eyes from how hard you are.
Agatha reaches down and pulls her panties to the side and rubs her clit for a moment.
“Can I—”
“—touch me? No. There’s no way you’d make it inside me then,” she sneers and you hate to admit that she’s right.
“I’m sorry,” you mumble, your cock jumping when she slides two fingers in herself. Your head is spinning, completely drunk with need for her.
She takes pity on you and grabs your cock, angling it at her entrance. “It’s okay, honey. You’re just a little baby. My little, pathetic, desperate baby.”
And then she slides down on your cock in one slick motion and your hands scramble to dig into the bedsheets and a loud, strangled moan comes out of your mouth, and you cum instantly, the feeling of her warm, wet walls around you too much to bear.
To her credit, she doesn’t laugh as you rut into her frantically. She just waits for you to finally calm down before squeezing her cunt around you. It makes you gasp. “I knew you couldn’t last,” she says, slowly starting to bounce up and down your cock.
“Too sensitive,” you whine and she clucks her tongue.
“Well, you promised that you were going to fuck me, didn’t you?”
Your cock has softened inside her, your cum starting to leak out of her pussy, and she collects it with her fingers and starts to rub her clit. Her walls spasm around you and you twitch. You nod your head and bite your lip — she is everything you’ve ever wanted.
It takes a few minutes of Agatha clenching around you to bring you back to full hardness, a speedy recovery even by your standards, and she starts to ride you for real.
“Good thing you’re the poster child for instant gratification,” she grunts, lifting herself up and then back down. There’s such a mess between the two of you that there’s squelching sounds each time she moves on you. You’re practically frozen beneath her and all you can do is watch as she fucks herself on you. “Just need to make you cum before actually being able to use you. I’ll train you so well, make you nothing into more than a cock for me to fuck.”
You finally regain the ability to think and start desperately thrusting up into her, needing more than anything to make her moan, to make her cum. She’s riding you faster and harder and her chest is becoming flushed and you think she might actually be getting somewhere.
But she squeezes around you again and fucking groans and you never stood a chance. “Fuck, fuck, fuck — Agatha, I’m gonna — fuck!” you cry and erupt inside her again, painting her walls white once again. You’re not even sure if you made it five minutes inside her.
Agatha slows down on top of you and you wince at the overstimulation of her still wrapped around you.
“Did you?” It’s a stupid question, one you already know the answer to, but you’re hoping that maybe you got it wrong.
Her laugh tells you that you did not and she slides off you, your cock flopping against your stomach in a sticky puddle, and she grabs the edge of the blanket on your bed to wipe the globs of cum oozing out of her. Fuck. You’ll never be able to use that blanket without getting hard again and you know that you’ll be fucking the fabric every single day for the rest of your life.
She flops down next to you and you wonder if it would be foolish to ask her to stay. “It’s not that easy to make me cum, pet. But don’t worry. I’ll get you there.”

No Thinking
billie eilish x reader
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
summary: you break a "rule" and billie deals with you.
warnings: basically pure smut, mean!billie, dumbification, teasing, overstimulation, pussy slaps, crying
words: 1163
a/n: katebishopsbaefy posting three times in one week?? unheard of💩 but i've had an ear infection all week so i've had lots of time to write!! i also have a few asks, so those'll hopefully get done soon. please keep sending them they're so much fun!! also billie's haircut looks so good?? i don't understand why we're all hating???
Billie's been away for the past few weeks, out on her tour with her friends. Of course, you’ve loved seeing her so happy and excited to be on the road for once, but that doesn’t mean you hadn’t missed her terribly. You’d been so lonely all alone in the big house, and all of those photos and videos in your hidden folder had just been too tempting; you couldn’t resist.
You and Billie had made a half-assed agreement a while ago about not touching yourselves when the other was away. It wasn’t really meant to be a real rule; it was just something you’d seen on some porn website, and you thought it might be fun to try.
You definitely hadn’t thought it all the way through.
When she came home, just a little over two hours ago, things had gotten heated between you so quickly. Her lips were all over your mouth, your neck, your chest, anywhere she could reach.
“God, I missed you s’much” she mumbled against your cleavage as she sucked a dark purple bruise into the soft skin. You tugged on her dark hair, and whatever response you’d been about to mutter quickly turned into a gasp when you felt her start to swirl her tongue around your nipple, and then suck sharply. She must’ve really missed you.
She’d settled you on the bed, all fluffed up with blankets and pillows. She might’ve missed you, she might’ve wanted you so bad she could’ve burst, but she’d always make sure you’re comfortable first. You'd kissed for a while until she’d gotten too impatient to wait, so she kissed her way down your body, between your breasts, across your stomach, ending with some soft sucks to your thighs. She gently pushed them open, and mumbled against them, “You been good f’me?”
You understood exactly what she meant. No, you haven’t been good for her. It was just so hard, having no one to touch you for weeks. You had to do it yourself…but all you’ve ever wanted was to be good for her, so you nodded your head, your mumbled words coming out more slurred and sloppy than hers, “Mhm. Been good, promise.”
But when she’d feel the slight resistance of you trying to keep your legs shut, you knew you’d been caught. “C’mon, babygirl… lemme see,” she murmured in that soft, but patronizing tone that always had you stuttering and blushing. And of course, you folded.
Her hands slowly pushed your thighs apart, revealing your soaking wet heat. Her eyes had visibly darkened, her finger traced up and down your slit. It was like she’d forgotten that she was teasing you for a moment, so entranced by you, so unable to keep her hands off of you. An audibly shaky breath would pull her back to reality.
She’d slowly pushed a finger in you as her eyes met yours, and you’d immediately recognized that look on her face. She’d seen right through your lie. She’d be able to feel it.
“Aw, baby…”, she murmured in that tone, the one that made it feel like she was talking down to you (which she was). Her finger gently felt around, enough to make you clench, but she’d still been able to tell what you’d done. “Feels like you’ve been touchin’ yourself… have you? You been stretchin’ out your needy little hole while I was gone?”
Your head was nodding along before you even realized what was happening. It’s just the way she talks to you, like she’s poking fun. It folds you right in half.
Billie softly clicked her tongue at you, and the tears sprang into your eyes when her finger traveled to your clit. She’d gotten you right where she wanted you; so overwhelmed you can't even think. And it’d only been a few minutes of teasing.
“You know the rules. Couldn’t’ve waited a few days f’me to get back? You’re that needy?” she teased, and you whined, already slipping into that headspace she loves to put you in where all you can do is feel.
When her finger started to trace circles into your clit, you whined again and gazed up at her with dark, tearful eyes. “I-I’m sor-”, you started, but she cut you off with a sharp slap to your cunt. One physical act of humiliation among a sea of verbal jabs. You whimpered and jolted like usual, immediately closing your mouth.
“Nuh uh, no thinkin’, baby. Too dumb f’that right now. Just needa have your pussy fixed…”, she mumbled so sweetly, so cruelly, and you shivered at the implication. She was going to make you come until you were tight again.
She rubbed your clit until you were shaking and crying, making you finish one, two, three times. Making you finish until she was satisfied.
And now, after what’s felt like hours of abuse on your clit, she’s finally decided to move on.
She pulls her finger away, and gently taps your nub with it, just to watch your legs twitch. To make sure you're sensitive enough. Her finger finds its way back down to your hole, gently pushing into you in a way that makes you tense and whimper. And she grins that stupid, cheesy, lopsided grin that makes your stomach flip. She looks so sweet, but so mean.
Her fingers wrap around yours, leading your hand down your body until she’s separating your middle and ring finger from the rest. Before you even know what's happening, she’s guiding your two fingers into your pussy, and a matching pair of her fingers are holding the back of yours to force them against that spot that makes you see stars. Of course, you whine and squirm, much too overwhelmed and overstimulated to have four fingers pressed into you. You’re too tight to be so full. But, of course, she holds you down.
“Mmm… now you’re all nice ‘nd tight again. Feel it, babygirl?”, she teases, her voice dripping with soft cruelty as she fucks your fingers into you. When you don’t respond, she takes her thumb and grinds it against your swollen clit, hard enough to make you jolt and scream. Eyes fly open and fill with a fresh set of tears as you nod at her. Your chest rises and falls heavily with each breath, your hair is all messy from so much squirming, your red eyes brim with tears, and the sight just makes her groan.
“Think we gotta stretch you out again, mama,” she murmurs, her lips finding their way to your cheek to kiss away your tears. It’s so sickly sweet compared to the way she’s started to pound into you. You hadn’t even realized, but she’d pulled your fingers out and replaced them with all four of her own, intent on making you scream and cry until you passed out. And after just a few more rounds, she succeeds.
Maybe you should’ve thought twice about making that dumb rule with her.

Hello! I love your writing and the way you manage to describe every bot so differently!! May I ask for more Shockwave or Shockwave and Soundwave? Hope you have a nice day!!
Sure! He’s giving Wheeljack a run for his money as the dumbest smart person right now
Point of Extinction Pt 12
TFP Shockwave x Reader
• He’s just staring at you. After that awkwardness, he spent a long time at his desk poking at his datapad, but now he’s just staring like you’re a puzzle with a piece missing. At least he isn’t offering to ‘tend to your needs.’ You’d wanted the ground to open up and swallow you right then, because he’d been so serious about it. “Thirteen, do you engage in self stimulation?” Apparently, it’s not over. When you frown at him, his head dips to his datapad and then back to you. “Research suggests interfacing reduces stress and offers other health benefits among humans.” Interfacing? Wait, is he talking about sex again? What exactly is he reading?
• “What research?” You ask, voice soft and weak. Venting he looks at the article Soundwave had found him and then at your little upturned face. Antenna flicking, he turns the datapad around for you, and your little nose scrunches. “Is that Cosmopolitan?” Is it not a reputable source?
• “I have witnessed multiple instance of stress responses from Thirteen,” he insists as you skim the article on the benefits of sex. Yep. He’s about to witness another stress response if he doesn’t drop this. “Thirteen’s well-being and health are a priority.” Managing to not flinch when he bends forward so he’s looming over you being his normal unsettling self, you smile weakly. You suppose that he’s so invested in keeping you healthy is a good thing. Especially if it keeps you from being a test subject, but his new obsession with sex isn’t a lot better.
• “And I really appreciate that you’re, um, concerned,” you say and his antenna go back. Is it that you find him inadequate? Inexperienced? “But I promise I’m fine.” Servo tapping against the datapad as he sets it down on the berth and studies you. And from nowhere comes a memory. A body entwined with his, a soft voice whispering as servos run over him. Shuddering, he tries to shake off the ghost, because that’s another corrupted memory. Not his. He’s alone. Always has been. And suddenly that bothers him, doesn’t want to be.
• “Cybertronians also engage in mutual stimulation for pleasure and to strengthen intimacy.” Staring up at him as he leans even closer so you’re washed in the ruddy glow of his optic. Wait. The giant alien robots bang? Literally? Choking on a slightly hysterical laugh as your brain unhelpfully conjures Shockwave bending another robot over and just clang, clang, clang. Wait. Does that mean he’s got bits? “Confession. Ulterior motive in offering to stimulate Thirteen. I would like to gather personal research data.” And the laughter dies. What?
• Awkwardly putting a knee up on the berth, he mass shifts and you yelp, backpedaling. You’re still so small, but he’s relatively certain this will work. “I have researched how to pleasure you. Prepare yourself,” he growls, freeing his spike and you slap a hand over your eyes. Not precisely the reaction he expected, but maybe you’re just overcome with emotion? You are an exceptionally emotional little creature.

❝ all a ghost can do
is haunt ❞
— part one
★ dofp! logan howlett x younger reader
tags & warnings - mentions of domestic violence and daddy issues, age gap, (reader is in her early 20s), mentions of logan being referred to as an 'old man' and him calling the reader a 'kid', fluff, itsy bitsy angst, time has softened logan a bit.
word count - 1.7k
★ ★ ★ ★
The whiskey burns, but not enough. Never enough to dull the edges of memories that cut deeper than any blade could.
Logan sits at the kitchen counter of the mansion, darkness pressing in from all sides. His demons always seem to find him here, in these quiet hours when the world narrows down to silence.
Even the adamantium in his bones feels heavier tonight.
He catches your scent before he hears you—that vanilla body lotion you always use. Your bare feet pad against the hardwood floors, and he takes a long gulp of his Jack Daniels when he feels your eyes land on him.
Your eyes are full of worry, as they often are for him. You can’t help it. You both know he drinks too much, smokes too much, gets angry too fast and doesn’t sleep enough. You might be a lot younger than him, or seen half the world he has, but that doesn’t mean you are incapable of distinguishing his self-indulgent tendencies from self-destructive ones.
"You're brooding again," you murmur, voice soft in deference to the midnight hour. The gentle concern in your tone makes something in his chest twist uncomfortably.
"Ain't brooding, bub. Just thinking." The lie tastes bitter, worse than the whiskey.
"Same difference with you," There's no judgment in your voice as you pad closer. You slip onto the stool beside him, close enough that he can feel the heat of you against his arm. "Share your demons with me, old man."
Logan's grip tightens on the bottle, knuckles white. "They ain't your burden to bear, kid."
"Seems like they should neither be yours to carry alone anymore," Your hand finds his forearm, fingers gently coaxing his own to uncoil from the bottle. "They’re tearing you apart, Lo."
“I’ll heal,” his voice turns assertive.
For the first time since you walked in, Logan looks at you. There’s no real heat behind his hazel eyes, but the intensity of his gaze makes your mouth go dry.
Logan's the kind of handsome that gets better with age, with grey starting to streak through his dark hair at the sides. You've spent more nights than you'd care to admit thinking about running your fingers through that hair, wondering if it's as soft as it looks.
“There are some scars that can’t heal on their own.” Your voice catches, vision blurring as memories surface. His expression softens, recognizing your demons as they dance in front of your eyes.
You grew up in a small house on the outskirts of town, where the screams couldn't carry far enough for neighbors to hear. Your father worked construction, coming home with anger burning through his veins, fueled by whatever poison he'd picked up at the local store. The bruises started small—a grip too tight around your wrist, fingers digging into your shoulder. By thirteen, you'd mastered the art of layering clothes in summer without breaking a sweat.
Your mother watched it all happen through a veil of willful blindness. She'd whisper "I love you" while dabbing antiseptic on split lips, promising "things will get better" as she covered the marks with a drugstore concealer. But she never left, trapped in her own web of shame and financial dependence.
The day Charles Xavier found you was the day your powers manifested.
Your father had been in one of his rages, when something inside you finally snapped. The resulting telekinetic burst had sent him flying across the room. You ran, terrified of what you'd done, of what he'd do in retaliation. That's when the professor's black car pulled up, offering sanctuary within the walls of his school.
Xavier's became more than just an escape—it became home. A home with an unlikely collection of mutants who’d soon turn into family. As far as you were concerned, Charles Xavier was your father and Storm had taken on a motherly inclination when it came to you.
And then there was Logan… gruff, protective Logan who understood you without you having to explain. You both sat in this very kitchen the night you finally told him everything.
You'd watched his knuckles whiten, saw the rage build in the set of his jaw—not at you. Never at you. You remember thinking that your father wouldn't survive the night if Logan decided to pay him a visit. But instead of violence, Logan had offered something far more precious than revenge.
Understanding.
And that was the first time you fell a little for him.
Logan lets out a breath that shakes more than he'd like to admit. "Been thinking about Stryker. The lab." His voice roughens as he admits. "Sometimes it all just... comes back. Can’t close my eyes, for the life of me."
You don't flinch from the roughness in his voice—you know too well how memories can become monsters in the night. Instead, your fingers slide down to cover his hand, "Would you like to spend the night with me?"
"That's how rumors start, you know." The corners of his eyes crinkle, and his hand turns beneath yours, rough fingers catching against your skin. He shouldn't enjoy your touch this much, shouldn't let himself notice how perfectly your small hand fits in his giant one.
"You worried about your reputation, Howlett?" You lean closer, unable to help yourself. Everyone else might see your relationship as purely paternal, but the thoughts that race through your mind when he looks at you are anything but daughterly.
"Hell nah, never been." His voice drops lower, rougher, allowing himself this small indulgence. "You sure you wanna be associated with a sleazy old bastard like me?"
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." The words come out playful, but your mind floods with memories.
Ever since you joined the team, Logan's been your shadow, protecting you during every mission. You think of training sessions in the gym, how good his hands feel when they’re adjusting your stance. You think of the day he carried you through the mansion when your leg broke after a mission gone sideways. You'd been mortified at first, but when you felt him cradle you against his chest, you'd buried your face in his neck.
When it comes to Logan, it's more than just physical attraction. It’s the way he’ll jump in any fire to save you. It's the way he'll sense your fear and comfort you whenever you have nightmares. It’s the way he can make you laugh just by raising that eyebrow in exactly the right way at exactly the right moment.
You felt safe with him. You wanted him to know he could feel the same with you too.
Logan watches you lose yourself in thought, fighting the urge to brush back the strand of hair that's fallen across your face.
He's spent too long trying to convince himself that his feelings are purely protective, that the way his chest tightens when you smile at him is just paternal instinct. But there's nothing fatherly about the way his body responds when you're close, about how often he finds himself thinking about the sound of your laugh.
"And call it daddy issues or whatever," you add with deliberate casualness, though your heart is hammering against your ribs, "but I like older men. So you're in luck, old man."
Logan knows he should say no. Should keep his darkness away from your light. But when you stand and offer your hand, he takes it, letting you lead him through the silent halls like a ship following a lighthouse home.
He has been in your room before, though never like this. Your room is almost the same as his. Almost, with bits and pieces of you sprinkled throughout. A huge antique bookshelf, courtesy of Charles, is one of them, covering an entire section of the four-walled space.
You watch Logan from your perch on the bed, the way his hands are curled into loose fists at his sides. "It's okay," you let him know softly. "Let me help."
He draws a breath at your words. His hand falls from the doorframe, and the door closes behind him with a soft click, separating the two of you from the rest of the sleeping world.
The mattress dips beneath his weight when he finally sits. You resist the urge to immediately touch him, letting him arrange himself comfortably, until he's lying down with his head in your lap.
His breathing is too measured, too even to be natural. You watch his hands, curled still into loose fists against his chest, and wait.
Gradually, almost imperceptibly, the rigid line of his spine begins to soften. He drapes his left arm over your legs, and your fingers find their way into his hair. And fuck, if it isn’t as soft as you imagined.
"Is this okay?" you ask softly, working your fingernails through his scalp; The first stroke sends a shiver down his spine.
He responds with a barely perceptible nod.
"You're safe here," you murmur, tracing patterns against his scalp. "No labs, no Stryker. No pain. Just you and me."
His eyes flutter close, though he fights it at first but all protests die in his throat. Your fingers continue their gentle journey through his hair, across his scalp, and you feel him surrendering inch by inch to the comfort he's denied himself for so long.
"Those memories? They're just ghosts now. They can haunt you, but they cannot touch you. They can't hurt you anymore, because you survived. You got out, Logan. You're here. You're loved. You're safe."
A soft whimper escapes him. Slowly, so slowly he almost doesn't notice, the tension begins to leak from his muscles. The metal in his bones feels lighter now, smoothing the worried crease between his brows.
"That's it," you whisper, and he feels the smile in your voice. "I've got you, Wolfie. Rest now."
Wolfie, he smiles sleepily. The nickname is the last thing he registers before sleep claims him whole.

can i req vil, romantic, young and beautiful by lana del rey? please and thankyou!! ^^ i love your writing btw /gen
thank you! hope you like my take on it <3
"Young and Beautiful" || Vil Schoenheit
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭
𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠: Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Ray
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 570
𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐬: Established relationship, Fluff
Vil knows he is at the peak of his career right now.
Everywhere he goes, cameras flash. The world drinks him in, enamored by his beauty, his elegance, the way he carries himself like he was sculpted by the gods themselves. He is young, radiant, untouchable.
And yet—when he sees you, when he catches even a glimpse of you—he is taken back.
Back to the days when he would lounge in the tattered remains of Ramshackle, nose wrinkling in distaste as he lamented the state of the old dorm. “Honestly, potato, how can you stand living like this?”
And you—ever unshaken, ever warm—would simply laugh, curling your fingers around his wrist, tugging him down onto the dusty couch beside you. “It doesn’t matter, Vil,” you’d say, smiling at him like he was the only thing worth looking at. “You’re here.”
Those summers were endless. Long, golden days filled with laughter and whispered promises, with lazy afternoons where he let himself rest in the comfort of your presence. He remembers the haze of young love, the weightlessness of it, the feeling that the two of you were untouchable.
He still has you now. Even when the world pulls him in a thousand directions, you are always there.
You still lighten up when you see him.
You still take care of him on his bad days, the ones where even perfection feels like a burden.
You still make his tea the exact way he likes it.
You still smooth your hands over his shoulders, whispering words of comfort when the weight of expectation is too much.
He thinks you are a deity, made only for him.
And yet, a quiet thought lingers in the back of his mind. A fear he rarely allows himself to acknowledge.
Will you still love me when I’m not young anymore?
Vil is many things—intelligent, self-assured, disciplined—but he is not naïve. He knows beauty fades. He knows the world only adores the bright and the unblemished. One day, the cameras will stop flashing. One day, the world will move on.
Will you still love me when I’m not beautiful anymore?
He hopes. He prays. But deep down, he already knows the answer.
Because he remembers the way you held him after his overblot, when he had unraveled completely, when his very worst was laid bare before you. And you, despite everything, had held him close. Had kissed him. Had whispered that he was enough, even then.
You have seen his ugliest side.
And still, you love him.
Vil Schoenheit has everything. Fame, beauty, power. But none of it matters as much as this—as much as you.
He returns home after another long day, exhaustion pressing at the edges of his mind. But then, there you are, waiting for him by the door.
Your eyes soften the moment you see him.
“Welcome home,” you say, stepping forward, reaching for him.
And when you kiss him—when your lips press against his with the same love, the same devotion you have always given him—he knows.
You will love him, even when he is not young.
Even when he is not beautiful.
Even when all he has left is his aching soul.
And if the afterlife is kind, you will go together, hand in hand.

LEE HEESEUNG
YOU FOUND YOURSELF waking up gasping, your body hot and uncomfortable as your heart hammered in your chest.
the vivid memories of the dream lingered in your memory—the distant look on heeseung’s face, the other person’s face, and the way he had looked at you like you were absolutely nothing to him.
you sat up, the blankets tangled around your legs as you tried to shake off the ache in your chest.
heeseung stirred beside you with a groan at the disturbance of his slumber, his hand immediately reaching out for you, his voice groggy as he blinked up at you. ── 𝖱𝖤𝖲𝖳 𝖡𝖤𝖫𝖮𝖶 ♡
“what’s wrong, babe?” his eyes were barely open, but the concern in his voice was quite clear. you didn’t want to tell him. it was stupid, simply a figment of your imagination, but the pain still felt so real.
he noticed your hesitation, now fully awake as he sat up to face you. “hey—talk to me. did you have a bad dream?”
“it’s nothing,” you whispered, avoiding his gaze, but your trembling voice betrayed you.
heeseung gently cupped your face with a pout, his thumbs wiping away the glossy tears you didn’t realize had fallen. “nothing doesn’t make you cry like this. tell me, baby.”
finally, you broke—spilling everything in a blabber of words, how you dreamt that he had cheated on you, how cold and uncaring he had been in the dream, and how it left you feeling so vulnerable.
heeseung’s eyes widened, and his expression softened into something that made your chest ache even more—love and guilt for something he hadn’t even done.
“angel,” he whispered, pulling you into his arms. “i don’t know what i did in your dream, but i’m so sorry it made you feel like this. i promise you, on everything in this world—i would never, ever, ever do that to you.”
his hold around you was firm, grounding, and his voice gentle as he reassured you. “i love you so much, words can’t even explain it. you’re the only one for me in this lifetime, and all my other ones too, okay? i love you and you only. whatever happened in that dream isn’t real, but i know your emotions are, and i’ll do whatever i can to make you feel better.”
you sniffled at his words as you clutched onto his shirt tighter, the pain easing away as he held you in his embrace.
he stayed up with you for the rest of the night, holding you close in his arms and whispering sweet affirmations until your breathing evened out and sleep finally came.
PARK JONGSEONG
THE SOUND OF YOUR SOBS had quickly pulled jay out of his deep slumber immediately.
he bolted upright, his sharp gaze scanning the room before settling on you, curled up onto your side with your face buried in your hands.
“honey, what’s wrong?” his voice was laced with urgency as he reached out to touch your shoulder. you flinched at his touch, which only deepened his worry. “did something happen? are you hurt?”
you shook your head, trying to compose yourself and get it together, but the dream had felt so real.
his voice, the way he held someone else so easily, and the way he had walked away from you with no regrets—it all came rushing back.
jay’s hand hovered in the air before he gently turned you to face him. “hey, look at me. please.” his voice was softer now, his brows furrowed in concern.
you took a shaky breath and finally met his gaze. “i had a dream that you.. that you cheated on me.”
jay blinked, his lips parting in surprise. for a moment, he didn’t know what to say, but then he saw the tears pouring down your face, the pain and heartbreak written all over your features, and his chest tightened.
“y/n,” he began carefully, his hands settling on the sides of your face. “i don’t know what happened in that dream, but i’m so sorry it hurt you like this.” his voice cracked slightly as he continued.
“you mean everything to me. even the thought of hurting you like that—” he stopped, shaking his head as if even imagining it was too much to bear.
“it wasn’t real,” you whispered, but your voice wavered.
“no, but your feelings are,” jay said reassuringly. “and i’m here to remind you that you’re the only one i want. i don’t care what dream jay did—i’m the real one, and i’d never do anything to lose you.”
he stayed with you, talking softly about the future he envisioned with you—little details like the places he wants to travel with you and the kind of house he dreams of building together. his words were like the calm after a storm, slowly mending the cracks the dream had left behind.
SIM JAEYUN
YOU DIDN’T REALIZE you had been crying in your sleep until you woke up to jake shaking you gently. “y/n? wake up. are you okay?” his voice was thick with drowsiness but filled with concern.
when you opened your eyes, the sight of his worried face brought a fresh wave of tears. he frowned, pulling you close. “hey, what’s wrong? talk to me.”
“i—i had a dream,” you managed to choke out, your voice muffled against his chest.
“what kind of dream?” jake’s voice was calm, but his hands trembled slightly as he held you, as if he were preparing himself for whatever you were about to say.
“you cheated on me,” you whispered, the words feeling like poison on your tongue.
jake pulled back just enough to look at you, his eyes wide. “what?” his reaction was immediate—hurt flashed across his face, but it was quickly replaced by a sadness. “oh, baby. i would never do that to you.”
“i know it was just a dream,” you said quickly, embarrassed by how emotional you felt. “but it felt so real, jake. i can’t shake it off.”
he didn’t say anything at first, he just pulled you back into his arms, holding you as though you might disappear. “i hate that you even had to feel like that, even in a dream,” he whispered against your hair.
“i love you so much, and the thought of hurting you like that—” he broke off, taking a deep breath. “i’d rather lose everything than lose you.”
jake spent the rest of the night proving it wasn’t just words. he showered you with affection, his hands brushing your hair back, his lips pressing soft kisses to your temple, your forehead, your cheeks. he didn’t let you go until he was sure you believed him.
PARK SUNGHOON
YOU WOKE UP ONLY to find sunghoon’s side of the bed empty, which only made the lingering weight of the dream worse.
the image of him with someone else, his cold voice telling you he was in love with someone else, played on repeat in your mind.
your cries must have been louder than you thought because moments later, sunghoon appeared in the doorway, holding a glass of water.
“you’re awake,” he said, his tone soft. “i heard you mumbling in your sleep. you okay?”
you shook your head, biting your lip in attempt to keep the tears at bay, but it was no use. sunghoon was at your side in an instant, placing the glass on the nightstand and pulling you into his arms.
“what happened? did you have a nightmare?”
you nodded, but the words wouldn’t come out. sunghoon pulled back slightly to look at you, his hands cupping your face. “whatever it is, it’s okay. you can tell me.”
“i dreamt you cheated on me,” you finally admitted, your voice breaking at the words. sunghoon’s face fell, his brows furrowing together in confusion and pain at the sheer thought.
“cheated on you? y/n, no. never.” his voice was firm, almost desperate. “how could you even dream of something like that?”
“i know it wasn’t you,” you said quickly, tears streaming down your face. “but it felt so real, and i woke up feeling like i lost you.”
sunghoon sighed, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. “you didn’t lose me. you never will.” his voice softened, and he rested his forehead against yours. “i don’t know what dream-me was thinking, but real-sunghoon is so crazy about you, it’s embarrassing sometimes.”
his attempt to cheer you up brought a small, shaky smile to your lips, which he immediately noticed.
“there it is,” he said softly, caressing away your tears. “that’s the smile i love. don’t let some stupid dream take it away.”
sunghoon stayed close to you all night, his warm presence being a reassurance—he made you laugh with funny stories and whispered sweet affirmations until the ache in your chest finally faded.

Yandere dick and yandere kori x adrenalin junkie reader?
ʙʀᴇᴀᴛʜᴇ, ᴀɴᴅ ʙᴜʀɴ ✬
ɴɪɢʜᴛᴡɪɴɢ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ x sᴛᴀʀғɪʀᴇ (ʏ!)
omg anon I am so sorry for the late reply you were deep inside(🤯) my inbox😭 ilysm anon dear so sorry for making u wait and making dis short boring ass reply💗😢
ᴍᴏʀᴇ ʜᴇʀᴇ!
There’s something about the moment right before impact. A razor-thin stretch of time where gravity abandons you, where air turns solid, where your body sings with the promise of a fall. It’s the kind of sensation that makes your pulse hammer against the cage of your ribs, that makes your fingers twitch, that makes you feel alive.
And they know it.
They watch you like fire watches a wick.
The three of you sit on the edge of the rooftop, the city stretching far beneath your feet. It’s an old, crumbling structure—one you had to shimmy up a drainpipe to reach, one that swayed ever so slightly in the wind. The kind of place that would send lesser mortals scurrying for safer ground. But for you?
You tip your head back and laugh, staring up at the sky, heart hammering as the air thins. You feel the weight of their eyes before you turn to meet them.
Kory’s gaze is molten, bright and all-consuming. Not in the way fire burns recklessly, but in the way it chooses what to devour. It’s worship and hunger wrapped in one, barely softened by the way she smiles, golden hair glinting under the neon haze of the city. Her legs dangle over the edge beside you, completely at ease, yet you can feel the tension in her muscles—ready to move, ready to save you if you fall, even if she has to burn down the world to do it.
Dick, on the other hand, is all restraint. He leans back on his palms, casual, like this is just another night, just another thrill. But you’ve known him long enough to see through the act. His fingers curl against the concrete, tapping out a rhythm against the rooftop—one-two, one-two-three. A habit. A tell. He’s measuring something. Calculating.
"You're thinking about it, aren’t you?" His voice is smooth, teasing. He already knows the answer.
You glance back over the edge. The streets below seem distant, the flickering streetlights turning everything into a distorted dream. Your grin widens. "Maybe."
Kory hums, tilting her head. "Would it be fun?"
"Absolutely."
Dick exhales through his nose, amusement laced with something deeper. Something darker. "You really want to give me a heart attack, don’t you?"
Your lips part to answer, but then—you move.
The wind howls in your ears. The world tips sideways. Your stomach twists into a sharp knot of weightlessness, and for a heartbeat, there is nothing but the drop. The rush. The moment where your body isn’t quite sure if it should prepare for impact or revel in flight.
But, of course, they catch you.
They always do.
Kory’s arms close around you first. A streak of fire, the heat of her body pressing against yours as she lifts you, her grip as unshakable as the stars. Dick is right behind her, the familiar coil of his grappling hook pulling both of you back toward the rooftop. They move like a unit. A force. A gravity all their own.
The landing is rougher than necessary. Not enough to hurt, but enough to remind you—they didn’t appreciate that little stunt.
Dick is on you in an instant, fingers digging into your waist, his breath sharp. Kory doesn’t let go either. Her arms remain wrapped around you, a lock of gold falling over your cheek as she leans in, forehead brushing yours.
"That was reckless," Dick murmurs.
"You do reckless things all the time," you counter, breath still uneven.
"Yes," Kory agrees, her voice warm. "But we are not willing to watch you fall."
You should be annoyed. You should roll your eyes, brush them off, tell them you had it under control. But there’s something in the way they look at you that makes your heartbeat stutter. Not anger. Not frustration.
Something deeper.
Something like devotion.
Dick’s thumb drags against your jaw, featherlight. His expression softens, but it does nothing to hide the storm behind his eyes. Kory’s arms tighten around you, pulling you close enough to feel the warmth of her skin through your clothes.
"You don’t get to scare us like that," Dick says, and there’s something final in his voice.
"Not ever," Kory whispers.
The way they hold you—it should feel suffocating. But instead, it feels like gravity.

can i please request a story where carlos or charles is sick and reader looks after him
BIG BABY | CL 16
charles leclerc × fem!reader
no warn
thank you for the req & hope you like it sender! 🤍
The moment Charles steps into the hotel room, you can tell something’s off. He barely makes it past the door before he slumps against you, his entire body weight pressing into your side.
“Hey,” you frown, adjusting your arms to support him better. “What’s wrong?”
He hums, barely opening his eyes. “M’just tired.”
But the way he leans into you feels different—like he’s melting, like he needs you to keep him upright. Your hand instinctively finds his forehead, and your heart drops.
“Oh my god,” you murmur, eyes widening. “You’re burning up, Charles.”
He just groans in response, burying his face into your shoulder like a sleepy child.
“Okay, baby, let’s get you to bed,” you whisper, guiding him toward the mattress as gently as possible. He follows easily, limbs heavy, breath warm against your neck.
The second he’s down, he reaches for you, fingers curling weakly around your wrist. “Don’t go.”
You smile softly, tucking his hair back. “I just need to get you some medicine, love.”
“No,” he mumbles, voice hoarse. “Stay.”
You sigh, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. “I promise I’ll be right back, okay? Just two seconds.”
He pouts, looking heartbreakingly miserable, but lets you go—only for his head to snap up the second you step away. “Wait—”
You pause. “Baby, I need to get you medicine and a cold towel.”
He groans dramatically, flopping onto his back. “You hate me.”
A soft laugh escapes you. “I love you, actually. Which is why I need to help you feel better.”
He huffs, clearly not convinced, but doesn’t argue when you disappear into the bathroom. When you return, he immediately tugs you back down onto the bed, arms wrapping around your waist, body radiating heat.
“You’re like a human heater system,” you tease, pressing a cool cloth to his forehead. He only grumbles, nuzzling into your neck.
“I feel terrible,” he mumbles.
“I know, baby.” You stroke his hair, voice soft and soothing. “That’s why you need to take your medicine.”
He shakes his head, still clinging onto you. “Later.”
“Charles.”
“No.”
You let out an exasperated sigh but don’t push him. Instead, you adjust your position so he’s fully tucked into your side, your fingers tracing gentle patterns against his back.
“Just rest for now, baby,” you murmur. “I’m right here.”
He sighs, content but still pouty. “You always take care of me.”
“Of course I do.” You press another kiss to his hair. “Because I love you.”
He hums sleepily, grip tightening like he’s afraid you’ll disappear. Even when his breathing slows, his fever making him drift in and out of consciousness, he refuses to let go.
And every time you shift, trying to grab your phone or adjust the blanket, he immediately stirs. “Where are you going?”
“I’m not going anywhere, baby,” you whisper, smiling at how absurdly clingy he is.
“Good.” His voice is barely audible, but the way he relaxes against you tells you he’s satisfied.
And if he wakes up two hours later, still feverish but now extra stubborn, whining about how you can’t leave even for a second—well, that’s just part of loving Charles Leclerc.

something old, something new
hello have a 2.3k drabble about Heeseung still having feelings for his ex heavily inspired by the above behind the scenes no doubt mv pics and based on this anon prompt sent to me:
this was supposed to be short but I got carried away and ended up writing 2.3k on my PHONE in an hour so please excuse any typos 😭
⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖
Lee Heeseung loves weddings.
When he admits this to people, which is in and of itself a fairly rare occasion, they assume it’s for all of the usual reasons.
The open bar, the well curated playlist, the free food... After all, those are the typical things men in their mid twenties tend to enjoy. And Heeseung always nods along. Forces a laugh whenever his conversation partner cracks another age old joke about getting a little too tipsy on the dance floor.
Besides, it’s not like he’s immune to baser pleasures. At twenty-five, Heeseung does genuinely enjoy eating well and getting drunk on someone else’s dime.
But if he digs a little deeper, is a little more honest with himself, the real reason he loves weddings so much is the romance of it all.
A white dress thats been agonized over and alternated to perfection. A cake thats been taste-tested and intentionally designed with the lucky couple in mind. A venue that likely cost an arm and a leg, but it’s worth it, because it’s the place where two people get to display the love they have for each other in front of everyone that’s important in their lives.
And Jay, he thinks, has outdone them all. The ballroom Heeseung steps into with perfectly shined shoes is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Crystal chandeliers bathe the high ceilinged room in soft, warm light that almost glows like candles at dusk.
The aisle separates two generously sized sections of seating from one another. Each table is laid with a crease less cream colored tablecloth and a bouquet of flowers that Heeseung doesn’t want to guess the price of. It’s stunning. It’s perfect.
And Jay, Heeseung’s best friend of thirteen years, deserves nothing less.
Jake seems to agree. Coming to stand next to Heeseung, he jerks his chin towards the door that leads to the neighboring room. “I just heard from a very trustworthy source that the open bar starts at 1 pm sharp,” he grins.
Heeseung has a sneaking suspicious that this trustworthy source is Sunghoon, which means it’s likely to be incorrect. Besides, booze isn’t what he’s here for.
“Hopefully not,” Heeseung nudges Jake’s shoulder, “since no one wants to watch you stumble down the aisle.”
“At least I’m just a groomsman.” Jake shrugs. “You, on the other hand, Mr. Best Man, have to be on your best behavior. Besides, I can handle my alcohol.”
Heeseung’s lips flatten. “I have several videos that prove otherwise.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jake waves his palm. “I’ll be good. I promise. No shots until after the ceremony.”
Heeseung just rolls his eyes. His younger friend might be a little more lax when it comes to conducting himself in public, but Heeseung isn’t actually worried. This is Jay’s wedding, after all. And no matter how much Jake and Sunghoon enjoy a good party, they also know how to take things seriously when it matters.
For a moment, Jake just looks around the room, taking it in like Heeseung had a few minutes prior. Similar actions, different conclusions. Jake doesn’t comment on the lighting or the tablecloths or even the romance. Instead, he says, “I can’t believe Jay’s actually getting married.”
“Yeah,” Heeseung breathes. Jay is the first in their friend group to officially leave bachelor-hood, and it does feel a bit strange to bear witness to. “Me neither.”
Jake is still shaking his head. “And he’s the first one out of all of us. That’s almost weirder. You know, we always thought it would be –”
Remembering himself, Jake lets the sentiment die on his lips.
It doesn’t matter, though. Heeseung already knows what he was going to say.
We always thought it would be you.
Four long years ago, at twenty-one, Heeseung had felt far too young for marriage. But that didn’t stop him from imagining what you’d look like in a white dress. What flavor of wedding cake the two of you would select from the box of samples. What overpriced venue you would decide to officially intertwine your lives in.
It didn’t stop him from tucking away a small, velvet box in the back of his drawer for safekeeping. From fantasizing about kneeling in front of you and finally sliding a gorgeous, sparking ring right where he wanted it to belong.
It didn’t stop him from making promises and plans. Adjustments to his life just to make sure there was always space for you.
But one year later, the box and the ring inside were still tucked away. And the love Heeseung kept safe suddenly had no place to go.
He told his friends it was mutual, that you’d made the decision together. But Heeseung never wanted to let go. Even if a job opportunity meant you had to move across the country. Even if it made no logical sense for him to follow when he was still finishing his degree.
It was circumstances, he explained to his friends, to his family. Not anything either of you did wrong.
But alone, surrounded by the four walls of his bedroom and the overwhelming clamor of his own thoughts, Heeseung just cried. Sobbed. The kind of tears that left him gasping for air and with a throb behind his temple.
Because he knew that he never would have done that to you. He would have turned down the job, would have found a way to make long distance work, would have transferred to another university to be close to you even if it wasn’t logical.
He would have done it, the big romantic gesture that gives the rom-com a happy ending and signals to the production team that it’s time to roll the credits.
But you didn’t. When he suggested long distance, you just sighed. And there were tears in your eyes too, but there was no fight.
So Heeseung, despite every bone in his body screaming at him not to, let you go.
And now, three years later, he’s about to watch his best friend get married and pretend it doesn’t sting. He’s happy for Jay. He is. But the selfish parts of him will always wish he was the one waiting at the end of the aisle instead. For you.
The universe has never made a habit of bending to his desires, though, and he fulfills his role as best man well. The ceremony goes off without a hitch, and Jake is appropriately steady-footed in his role as a groomsman.
The white dress is gorgeous. The cake is delicious. The venue is perfect. Whatever romance is, Jay and his fiancée — no, his wife — have captured it well.
Despite his earlier words, Heeseung makes a home for himself at the aforementioned open bar the second the ceremony is over. Knocking back another swig of whiskey, he appreciates the slight burn. At least it’s in his throat this time, instead of his heart. And at least it’s induced by alcohol instead of misplaced jealousy.
But he must have had one too many drinks, because for a fleeting moment, he swears that the late arrival that makes a hesitant entrance into the reception room is—
No.
There’s no way.
You only knew Jay because you knew Heeseung, and those flowers withered three long years ago. You have no reason to be here now.
But then he hears it, and oh the lurch in his heart hurts just as bad as it did the first time. Because despite the improbability of it all, that’s your voice that floats above the music and exchanged pleasantries with another guest. Even after all the time that’s passed, Heeseung would know it anywhere. Could pick it out of any crowd.
He turns to you slowly, as if he can delay the inevitable just a little longer. As soon as his eyes land on you, he realizes his mistake. He shouldn’t have looked at you at all, should have just slid off the bar stool and ran in the other direction because it still hurts.
You’re three years older, and the time has been good to you. The evening dress you wear hangs from your body in a way that only reminds him of what you look like beneath it, of the way running his hands and his lips and his love over the skin you conceal used to feel like second nature. The way you used to play with his hair with his head in your lap, trading small moments of intimacy after a long day.
It hurts. It aches and it stings and it burns.
He has to get out of here. He has to leave. Now.
Not caring if he’s making a scene, Heeseung stands from the barstool. The only reason he tries to be somewhat discreet is to avoid the heat of your gaze.
All the way to the door on the opposite side of the room, he doesn’t turn back. Not once. On the other side of the door, he lets his body go limp against the solid surface beneath his spine, just for a moment. He exhales a long held breath.
But the air is still stifling, even as he loosens the tie at his neck. Straightening back to his full height, he turns down a short hallway until he arrives at the small outdoor balcony he noticed earlier.
The air outside is cold, at least. Fresh.
On the horizon, the sun spends its last few moments of the day painting the sky in gorgeous, golden hues. Heeseung squints, but he doesn’t look away. Hands wrapped around the bannister that lines the balcony, he sags into himself.
Shoulders hunched, he forces a long inhale into his lungs. And then he releases it. His breath is a pattern he can cling to, something steady that tethers him back to reality. Something to focus on that isn’t the war in his mind.
But peacetime is only an illusion. After a handful of quiet minutes, he hears the door open behind him.
“Oh,” you startle. He knows it’s you, even from just one syllable. “Sorry, I didn’t realize someone was out here already. I’ll just…” Your words trail off into silence, but Heeseung doesn’t hear retreating footsteps, doesn’t hear the door close again. After another stilted moment, what he hears is, “Heeseung?”
Your voice is small. As if you can apologize just by being gentle. As if he’s a wounded animal you don’t want to startle.
And Heeseung, despite himself, does feel a bit like a kitten left out in the rain when he finds it in himself to turn and face you.
The only word he says is your name. His tone is steady, even. More so than he thought he was capable of. But he’s looking at you now too, and his eyes have never been good at hiding secrets.
“I…” You trail off again. You’re at a loss too. “How are you?”
“Don’t do that,” Heeseung shakes his head.
“I’m sorry,” you retreat immediately. But Heeseung remembers when you used to argue, when you used to fight back. When you valued the strength of your relationship over his wounded pride.
“Don’t be,” Heeseung shakes his head again. “You made your choice, so stick to it. You don’t get to…” He screws his eyes shut for a moment, fist clenching at his side. Opening his eyes again, he matches your gaze. “You don’t get to leave me and then apologize for it.”
Your breath hitches, but you don’t miss a beat. “I meant for intruding,” you tell him. “I was apologizing for disturbing you.”
But you remember how he used to love making space for you in his life. How his plans were your plans and his time alone on a balcony would only be made better if you were there, too.
And you still remember the day you were inspired by a strong bout of spring fever, how you dedicated an entire afternoon to deep cleaning.
You still remember the small, velvet box you found.
You didn’t open it, but you didn’t have to. The small, nondescript container scared you enough. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to marry Heeseung. You already had Pinterest boards full of white dresses and three-tier cakes and stunning venues. Suits that you thought would bring out his best features.
But you’d also just gotten the news of your promotion. Across the country. You didn’t know how to tell him, and you had less of an idea how to leave him.
But you knew you had to. He would follow you, if you let him. You were sure of it. But he was enrolled in the best university for his program, and you watched him fight tooth and nail to earn his spot there.
Heeseung was a bright light, a beacon of good things, and if you were honest with yourself, you felt like his commitment to you was something that only weighed him down.
He was an adult, too. A young one, yes, but a full, grown person all the same. Perfectly capable of making his own decisions, but you took that from him anyway.
And now, three years later, you can still read him like an open book. There’s hurt in his gaze, pain that lingers even now. There’s resentment, too, and you can’t blame him for it.
I still love you, you want to tell him. Because it’s true. Because you do. Because you can see it in his eyes, too.
But you’ve always been better at holding your tongue than him.
Instead, you turn on your heel, planning to exit the way you came.
Fingers around the door handle, the sound of your name stops you.
It sounds like he’s begging, like he’s pleading, and you can’t bear to turn and see the results of your devastation as surely as you hear them.
Instead, you remain motionless. You squeeze your eyes shut as tightly as you can.
And then, so faintly it’s almost lost to the wind, he says, “Stay. Please.”

When Jeonghan opened the door, he was struck first by the overwhelming silence. Then the mess. Scattered papers, half-eaten meals, and clothes tossed carelessly over furniture created a chaotic backdrop. But what hit him hardest was Y/N herself sitting on the floor, knees drawn to her chest, her head buried in trembling hands.
It was the sound of her muffled sobs that froze him. This wasn’t the Y/N they knew, the one who always smiled even when life hit hard. This was someone breaking, piece by piece.
“Y/N?” he called, his voice soft but laced with urgency.
Her head shot up, eyes red and swollen. There was something wild in her gaze, as if she hadn’t slept for days. “What are you doing here?” Her voice cracked, raw and defensive.
“You weren’t answering your phone,” Joshua explained from behind Jeonghan, stepping into the room cautiously. He gestured to the cracked phone lying on the table. “We got worried.”
“You shouldn’t have come,” she snapped, wiping her face aggressively with the sleeve of her hoodie. “I’m fine. I don’t need this.”
Seungkwan stepped forward, frowning. “Y/N, look at yourself. This isn’t fine. Your hands are shaking—”
“Of course they’re shaking!” she shouted, her voice suddenly loud and sharp. Her hands flew into the air in frustration. “Everything’s falling apart! I’m drowning, and you’re all just here, acting like showing up will magically fix everything!”
The outburst stunned them into silence. Even Seungcheol, who had been prepared to say something comforting, froze at her tone.
“I can’t—I can’t do this anymore!” she yelled, standing abruptly. Her voice cracked under the strain of emotion, and her chest heaved as if she was struggling to breathe. “Do you even know how hard it’s been? Work’s a disaster; I can’t keep up. My family keeps calling, telling me I’m wasting my life. And Yeonjun—”
The name hung in the air like a knife.
“Yeonjun left, and he—he doesn’t care! He moved on so easily, and I’m just—” Her voice broke, tears spilling over again as she gripped her hair tightly. “I’m still stuck here, like an idiot, wondering what I did wrong!”
Her legs gave out, and she collapsed back onto the floor, her cries ripping through the room. It was the kind of heartbreak they could feel in their own chests—raw, gut-wrenching, and uncontrollable.
“Y/N…” Mingyu stepped forward cautiously, crouching down next to her. “You didn’t do anything wrong. Sometimes people just—”
“Don’t say that!” she interrupted, glaring at him through her tears. “Don’t tell me it’s not my fault when it feels like it is! He told me he loved me, Mingyu! He promised, and then he just… he left!”
Her words echoed in the room, heavy and cutting. She buried her face in her hands again, sobs wracking her body.
“It’s not fair,” she whimpered. “I gave him everything, and now he’s fine, and I’m—I’m a mess. I can’t even look at myself without feeling like I wasn’t good enough for him. For anyone.”
Seungcheol, no longer able to hold back, knelt beside her. He didn’t say anything at first, simply pulling her into a firm hug. She resisted, weakly pushing at his chest, but eventually, she broke, collapsing into him completely.
“You’re allowed to feel this way,” he murmured, his hand gently running over her back as she sobbed into his shoulder. “You’re allowed to scream and cry and hate the world right now. But don’t ever say you’re not good enough. Not for him, not for anyone.”
Jeonghan crouched nearby, his voice soft but steady. “You gave him your heart, Y/N. It’s not your fault that he didn’t know how to take care of it.”
“It doesn’t matter,” she choked out. He’s gone, and I’m still here, and I don’t know how to move on. Nothing feels right anymore. Nothing works.”
“Then let us help you,” Joshua said, his voice steady. He sat cross-legged in front of her, his hands resting on his knees. “We can’t erase what happened, but we can be here for you. You don’t have to do this alone.”
“But I don’t know how to let go,” she whispered, her voice breaking again. “It hurts so much, and I don’t know how to make it stop.”
“You don’t have to let go all at once,” Minghao said gently. “Healing doesn’t happen overnight. It’s okay to take it one step at a time, even if those steps are small.”
“Start with this,” Seungkwan added, motioning to the mess around the apartment. “Let us help you clean up. It’s not much, but it’ll make you feel just a little lighter.”
“I can’t—”
“You can,” Seokmin interrupted, his tone gentle but insistent. “We’ll do it together.”
With a shaky breath, she nodded, though her tears didn’t stop. They all moved into action Mingyu and Jun clearing the trash, Dino folding her discarded clothes, and Vernon quietly taking out the recycling. Jihoon handed her a fresh set of tissues while Joshua placed a warm mug of tea in her hands.
When the space began to look more like a home again, Y/N’s sobs had softened to quiet sniffles. She sat on the couch now, wrapped in the blanket Minghao had brought her, her tear-streaked face buried in the crook of her elbow.
“It’s not fixed,” she said quietly, her voice raw. “I still feel so broken.”
“We’re not here to fix you,” Seungcheol said, sitting beside her. “We’re here to remind you that even when you feel like everything’s falling apart, you’re not alone. You don’t have to carry this by yourself.”
Jeonghan smiled softly. “We’ll carry it with you, as long as you need us to.”
And for the first time in what felt like forever, Y/N let herself believe them. She still hurt, and the pieces of her heart still felt scattered, but as she looked at the thirteen faces surrounding her, she realized she wasn’t alone.
Maybe healing wouldn’t happen overnight. Maybe she’d have more nights like this, where everything felt too heavy to bear. But she wouldn’t face them alone not when she had them.

This Is Not a Temporary Love
For @bucktommyfluffebruary Day 1: Non-sexual Intimacy
Tommy trails calloused fingertips across Evan’s skin, followed by feather light kisses, mapping the landmarks of ink and scar tissue.
Evan runs a hand through Tommy’s curls. “What are you doing?”
“Exploring,” Tommy says between kisses. “Admiring the artwork. Committing you to memory.”
Evan hums and his eyes flutter shut as Tommy ends his journey at Evan’s birthmark, peppering kisses along his brow.
∗∗∗
A few nights later, Evan turns the tables of affection on him. Under Evan’s steady gaze, Tommy feels as if he’s been put under a microscope. His skin heats from Evan’s careful touches and the thought of being on display.
“What are you doing?”
Evan smirks, a playful shine reflected in his eyes. “Admiring the artwork.”
“What artwork?”
Evan smiles as he traces invisible lines across Tommy’s skin. He takes Tommy’s words for the joke they are, not the self-deprecating dig they might have once been.
“Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo?”
“Thought about it, yeah.”
“But…you haven’t wanted anything enough to make it permanent?”
Tommy hesitates. “Are we still talking about tattoos?”
Evan laughs. “I promise it’s not a leading question.”
Tommy looks up at the ceiling. “I don’t like needles.” When he looks at Evan, there’s a soft smile on his face.
“Hey, thank you for sharing that with me.”
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Evan—still tracing the contours of Tommy’s body—asks, “what would you get if you could?”
∗∗∗
A week later, Tommy shows up at Evan’s loft with takeout for their date night in.
He also gives Evan several packs of tattoo markers and blanket permission to use his skin as his personal canvas.
Evan’s face lights up like Tommy has given him the directions to the Lost City of Atlantis.
Between bites of Lo mein, Evan draws a fortune cookie on Tommy’s shoulder.
“What’s my fortune?”
Evan looks into his eyes and says, “you have a love that will last a lifetime.”
Tommy admires the way the words fall so effortlessly from Evan’s lips. It’s not casual or flippant, but confident and sure—like he’s practiced the thought so many times, mouthing the words until his tongue memorized the shape of them.
Tommy kisses Evan, pouring all the words he doesn’t know how to express into Evan’s open, eager mouth. When they part, Tommy swipes his thumb over the sweet and sour sauce lingering on Evan’s lips.
“Lucky me.”
∗∗∗
After that night, Evan takes every opportunity to mark Tommy’s skin.
And it’s never mindless scribbling. It’s always deliberate, if not reverent, the way Evan moves the markers over his skin. It makes Tommy feel appreciated in a way he hadn’t expected.
When they’re watching movies together on the couch, Tommy’s feet in Evan’s lap, Evan keeps himself busy drawing comic book characters on his legs and thighs.
At the bar, surrounded by their friends and family, who watch with various expressions of confusion and amusement as Evan adds a rainbow of colors to Tommy’s skin. Maddie fondly compares it to giving Jee crayons at a restaurant to keep her entertained. Evan blushes and Tommy laughs, even if the observation misses the mark. Tommy actually likes having a language that only they understand and he thinks Evan feels the same.
In the kitchen, while waiting for dinner to be done, Evan sits him down at the island and asks him about his day, hanging onto every word Tommy says as he inks a new animal onto a different part of Tommy’s arm. First, it’s a penguin. Then a swan, a puffin, a crow.
Evan asks him one night, “do you know what they have in common?”
Tommy looks at the black bird on his bicep. “They all have wings?”
Evan gives him a look that says Tommy’s being deliberately obtuse. He’s listened to enough of Evan’s animal facts to know they’re all animals that mate for life.
Evan draws a wolf on Tommy’s forearm next, a challenging look in his eyes.
In between grueling shifts and the exhausting work of moving in together, Evan continues his artwork.
∗∗∗
Evan holds Tommy’s hand, even though he knows it can’t be comfortable given how cold and clammy it is.
“You don’t have to do this,” Evan says. “We can buy tattoo markers. I can draw on you again if you want.”
Tommy winces at the sound of the tattoo machine coming from the back room of the shop, but he’s determined to see it through. “No, I want this. When I have to take off my wedding ring for work, it always feels like I’m missing a part of me.”
Evan ducks his head and blushes. “If you’re sure.”
Tommy squeezes his hand. “I’m sure.”

i’m obsessed with your declan fics! can we get one where the reader has to calm him down? it would be even more fun if they were mad/annoyed at each other but he can’t help but seek her out when he needs comfort 👀
Paradoxical.
you currently can’t stand the sight of each other. and yet, in this moment… yours is the only face he wants to see.
declan o’hara x female reader (nickname - lucky.)
warnings - smut. cursing. angst. unspecified age gap. yeeeeeearning.
word count - 4.6k
authors note - she’s back 💋. loooved this request, so thank you so much to whoever sent it!! i’m still on my rivals shit, so please join me in this never ending journey. never getting over this man <3
masterlist. inbox.
“How are you doing?”
You snuggle further into the pillows on the bed, popping another strawberry in your mouth to avoid the question.
“Lucky.”
“Hmm?”
“I asked how you are.”
“M’fine,” you answer as you chew, praying the subject gets changed. She clearly doesn’t believe you, so you sigh and look at her pointedly. “I’m being serious. I’m fine.”
“Liar.”
“Taggie.”
“Do you think I’m stupid?”
“What? No! I’d never think that.”
“Then why are you treating me like I’m oblivious? I can see that you’re not fine, but you keep lying to my face.”
Taking a deep breath, you exhale in resignation.
“I don’t want you to feel like you’re caught in the middle of all of this, Tag.”
“I’m not-”
“You are. He’s your dad, I’m your friend. You are quite literally the middle man here.”
“That’s not necessarily a bad thing,” she counters, perching on the edge of her bed. “If I have to be the peacekeeper, I will be.”
“You shouldn’t have to be.”
“I know, but these things happen. I just… if I knew what had happened, I could try and fix it.”
“You can’t fix this, Tag. I promise you, you can’t.”
She’s quiet for a moment, tracing the patterns on your socks as she thinks.
“What happened, Lucky? I swear that whatever it is, I won’t judge you. I just want to know how it all went so… wrong. One minute the two of you were the best of friends, and the next minute you’re packing up your office and leaving without so much as an explanation.”
“It’s complicated,” you murmur.
“So complicated that you had to quit your job?”
“Yes.”
“He’s never going to find a better assistant than you, you know. Never. He doesn’t even want to look for one, says he’d rather do all the work himself.”
“Well that’s stupid of him. He can’t do all that stuff himself.”
“Exactly. He’s willing to put himself through all of that stress so as not to replace you.”
“That’s his foolish choice, Tag.”
She sighs in frustration, leaning back against the footboard of the bed.
“Did he upset you? Did he say something stupid? You know what he’s like, he often doesn’t think before he speaks. I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation here.”
“It wasn’t him, it was me. I quit by my own volition. He didn’t upset me, he didn’t offend me… I just had to do the right thing, which was to leave. I know you’re trying to help, Tag, but you can’t. Not with this.”
Taggie finally realises that she’s fighting a losing battle, choosing instead to shuffle over so she’s all cosy in the pillows next to you.
“I won’t tell him you were here,” she whispers, bumping your shoulder with hers.
“Thank you. I’m sorry you’re caught up in the middle of all of this.”
“I don’t mind, honestly. I just wish there was something I could do.”
“Give it some time. It’s meant to heal all wounds, after all.”
She chuckles, resting her head against yours affectionately.
“Will you help me make some raspberry tarts? I need at least forty of them, and I could do with an extra pair of hands.”
“Of course I will. But if your dad comes home, I’m sprinting out the back door.”
“Alright,” she laughs, shaking her head. “I’ll help with your escape, if need be.”
✵ ✵ · ✵ * · ✵
You’re tempted to smash your head into the bar top.
You’ve been debating the pros and cons of it for the last forty five minutes, actually.
The gala is bustling, bodies packed into the beautiful ballroom with barely an inch between them. Everyone has a drink in hand, the light from the chandelier glinting off of the champagne and whiskey poured into crystal glasses.
You’d said yes to the event when you were still Declan’s assistant - assuming that you’d go together, just like always. And now, here you are, standing on opposite ends of the room and avoiding each other like your lives depend on it.
A cool hand finds your waist, spiced aftershave hitting your senses and letting you know who it is before they even have to speak.
“Hello, darling.”
“Hi, Rupert.”
He spins you around gracefully, smiling at you with a twinkle in his eye.
“You look ravishing, as always.”
“You don’t look half bad yourself, you know. You scrub up quite nicely.”
“Oh stop, I’ll start blushing.”
You can’t help but laugh, accepting his arm as he offers it out to you.
“Come on darling, let’s socialise a bit. You can’t stand in the corner forever.”
“I can.”
“Not on my watch.”
He’s dragging you across the floor before you can process what’s happening, people passing by you in blurs of colour and sparkles.
“Dance with me.”
“Is this fun for you? Torturing me?”
“Oh, immensely,” he grins, hands finding your hips.
You reluctantly wrap your arms around his neck, looking at him with a quirked brow.
“Don’t you have a thousand other women you could be dancing with, Rupert?”
He spins you playfully, laughing as you shriek.
“I do, but none of them are nearly as beautiful as you.”
“Oh god,” you groan, rolling your eyes. “Does that line usually work?”
“Never on women as smart as you,” he chuckles, swaying you gently.
You stare at him carefully for a moment, realising you know him too well when you instantly see through his carefree facade.
“Ask it, then.”
“Hmm?”
“I know that’s what this is. You’re going to get me all soft and relaxed and tipsy, and then you’ll ask me about Declan. You might as well just cut to the chase, Rupert.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You’re much too intelligent to think that I believe that.”
His eyes don’t leave yours as he tilts his head, getting a good look at you and your unwavering expression.
“Fine, you stubborn woman. Fine. I wanted to ask you about Declan at some point tonight. But only from a place of care and concern, not because I’m going to try to wrangle the two you of back together or anything.”
“Subtlety has never been your strong suit.”
“Forgive me for being confused, alright? You were joined at the hip, and all of a sudden you can’t stand the sight of each other. It’s just so unlike the two of you.”
You sigh deeply, dropping your head forward so it rests on his chest. Rupert’s arms tighten around you, silently letting you know he’s got your back.
“It’s complicated,” you explain, muffled by the material of the man’s shirt. “Stupidly complicated.”
“So complicated that it can never, ever be repaired? I don’t think so.”
“Maybe you’re right.”
“Blimey,” he half gasps, the sound vibrating through the both of you. “How much have you had to drink?”
“Even a broken clock is right twice a day, you bastard.”
Rupert laughs so loudly that people turn their heads to see why, the cadence of it completely infectious. Declan watches from across the room, unable to help himself from at least glancing at the two of you together so cosily.
“He’s currently watching you like some sort of bird of prey,” he informs, tilting your chin up so you’re looking into his eyes. “Whatever it was that happened, it hasn’t erased the fact that he cares about you. A lot. And I know for a fact you care about him.”
“Of course I do.”
“There we go then. Surely it’s nothing that can’t be solved with a bit of good old fashioned communication.”
“You’re a terrible communicator,” you argue.
“Do as I say, not as I do.”
Now it’s your turn to laugh, shaking your head as you both sway to the music once again.
“If I had a pound for every time that applied to you, Rupert, I’d be a fucking millionaire.”
He twirls you outwards quickly, watching as the skirt of your dress billows with the breeze of the action.
“And if I had a pound for every time Declan has pretended to stare interestedly around the room this evening just so he has an excuse to look at you, I’d be a millionaire too.”
You ignore the way your heartbeat picks up at his words, choosing instead to focus on the steady rhythm of the music from the piano that fills the space.
“Maybe he’s looking at you.”
“No, Lucky. He’s always looking at you.”
You sigh in resignation, fingers fiddling with Rupert’s collar as you straighten out his tie.
“I don’t know what I’m supposed to respond to that.”
“You’re practically his right arm. This separation, whatever its cause, is doing both of you more harm than good. I don’t want to push you darling, because that isn’t fair - but just think about everything I’ve said, alright?”
He stares at you expectantly, brows raised in questioning.
“Alright.”
The grin on his face is almost blinding, beaming out in all directions.
“Now, you look too beautiful to stand on the fringes. I will dance with you all night if I have to, if it means showing off this stunning dress of yours.”
“So charming,” you smile, shaking your head. “That’s an offer I can’t refuse, isn’t it?”
“You’d be stupid to,” he winks, still grinning like the devil.
You let him lead you further into the middle of the dance floor, chuckling as he spins you as you go. Your hand has just slipped into Rupert’s once more when you’re both startled by a crash coming from the other side of the room.
The two of you whip your heads around towards the source of the commotion, to see two men in undoubtedly expensive suits brawling with each other. One of them is throwing punches while the other can do nothing but take them, merciless at his opponents hands. Some people are shouting and screaming, trying to physically separate them, while others turn a complete blind eye to the ruckus.
“Fuck,” Rupert mutters, grabbing your hand and dragging you towards the scene.
You’re about to ask what the hell he’s doing when you’re pushed forwards and given a clearer view of what’s in front of you, understanding Rupert’s panic immediately.
Ginger is on the floor. Declan is standing above him with bloody knuckles.
“Fuck,” you repeat.
You want to run in the other direction, desperate to not be involved with the drama. And then you look at Declan - the way he’s falling apart at the seams, nerves ruined and adrenaline rushing through his veins, clearly on the edge of something awful… and all of a sudden you’re walking towards the brawl, logic be damned.
There’s so much noise surrounding you that you can’t hear yourself think. All you can hear is the blood rushing in your ears and your heart pounding against your ribcage in your sudden determination to get to the Irishman.
You’re yelling his name without even realising you’re doing it, shouting at the top of your lungs to fight over the commotion.
“Declan! Oh for fuck sake… Declan!”
Your voice somehow breaks through the noise like a sirens call, the familiar melody of it finding his ears like his favourite song. His eyes finally meet yours, and the rest of the room melts away.
You have a conversation without saying anything, so many words exchanged in such a short amount of time. The two of you have always been good at this - communicating in your own language, silently and easily.
You grab his injured hand and intertwine your fingers with his, pulling him away from the scene of the crime with determination. You cast a look back to Ginger, who remains on the floor with blood dripping from his nose, before dragging Declan through the crowd and towards the front door of the huge Manor House. You can hear Rupert trying to mitigate the situation as you leave, using his charm as he does best.
You make your way outside, yanking the man behind you in your path without so much of a glance backwards. You trudge through the gardens in your heels, ignoring the way the dewy grass brushes across the tops of your feet occasionally. Finally, after walking for what feels like hours but was actually mere minutes, you come across a bench, sheltered by an old stone wall and neatly trimmed hedges.
You shove him to sit down, still refusing to look him in the eye. Neither of you say anything, the evening breeze and two sets of lungs heaving all that can be heard.
“What happened?” you whisper eventually, reluctant to disturb the peace. “Who started it?”
Declan looks surprised that you’re speaking to him, failing to hide the shock on his face.
“Will ya sit down? You’re making me nervous.”
“You’re not the boss of me anymore, remember?” you half joke, sitting down anyway.
“Funny,” he says, completely deadpan. He looks at you carefully for a long moment, before continuing. “It was Ginger, obviously. I wouldn’t waste my time with him otherwise.”
“What did he say?”
“Doesn’t matter.”
“Matters to me.”
“Well it shouldn’t.”
“Right.”
You stare at your shoes, wondering why you even bothered to rescue him back in the ballroom.
“Fuck this, then,” you mutter as you stand up to leave.
A hand wraps around your wrist as quick as a flash, pulling you back to sit down where you were.
“No. You don’t get to just walk away from me, not again.”
“Tell me what Ginger said.”
“Tell me why you quit workin’ for me.”
“I already did.”
“Liar. You gave me a poor excuse that’s absolute bollocks. I don’t believe it for a second.”
“That’s your problem, then.”
“Yes, it is.”
You stare at him, completely exasperated by the events of the last hour.
“You can’t just punch people at galas, Declan. It’s a bad look for you, for Venturer, and for every member of staff that relies on you.”
“I know.”
“Then why’d you do it?”
He scrubs his hand over his face, clearly frustrated with both you and the situation at hand.
“He made some horrible comment about you. I fell right into his trap too, like a bull and a fuckin’ red scarf.”
“What did he say?”
He hesitates for a moment.
“Just… something crude about you sleepin’ with me to get to where you are. Called me a cradle snatcher, too.”
“You can’t be a cradle snatcher if I’m a grown woman.”
“Exactly. And it’s not true, anyway. We all know that.”
“So why did you hit him, then? If we all know it’s not true?”
Declan sighs, fatigue painting the sound.
“Because no one gets to speak about you like that with no consequence. And because I was angry.”
“At me.”
“At you. Yes.”
You fiddle with your fingers, entirely unprepared for the fact that you’re about to have the one conversation you’ve been completely avoiding.
“I never meant for any of this to happen,” you begin. “I’m sorry that it’s come to this.”
“Then what did you mean to happen, Lucky? Did you think that you could just up and quit with absolutely no warning, without a problem? That I’d just let you walk out? Did ya think I’d help you pack your things?”
“Obviously not,” you whisper. “I’m not stupid.”
“No, you’re not. Which is why I know that you thought about that decision long and hard. And that’s what I can’t seem to wrap my head around.”
“It wasn’t easy.”
He looks at you with pleading eyes, clearly desperate to resolve the issues between you.
“Please, Lucky.”
His voice is cracking just like his heart, breaking down the middle to allow all of his emotions to spill out onto the grass. You’ve never heard him sound like this. You hate it.
“I had to, Declan. For both of our sakes.”
“For fuck sake, can you cut it out?” he snaps, volume raising.
“Cut what out?”
“Speaking in these fucking riddles! I can’t even pretend that I have any idea what you’re talkin’ about. Please, whatever it is, however terrible you think it is… I just need you to say it. We’ll deal with the consequences. But I can’t keep goin’ around in circles, dancing around the subject constantly.”
You take a deep breath, bottom lip wobbling as you will yourself not to cry. You’re well and truly at the end of your tether, unsure of how much more you can take - or how much you want to. Deciding to throw caution into the wind, you exhale carefully before turning to face the man next to you.
“You’ll hate me. When I tell you.”
“I could never hate you. Never, Lucky.”
You get lost in your own head for a moment, staring off into space as you debate the best way to go about this. A large hand finds its way into your knee, comforting and grounding. His thumb rubs patterns into your skin where the slit of your dress is, warming you up from the outside in.
“I thought about it for a long time,” you begin. “A long time. Because being your assistant is the best job I have ever had, or will ever have. It was a dream, Declan. Even when we had a tough day, or week, or month, I always knew we’d be okay.”
He nods, his full attention on you.
“We were comfortable, me and you. Maybe a little too comfortable for a boss and his assistant, but in a good way, I think. I was settled, with you.”
He squeezes your thigh, urging you to continue.
“But then, I think we got too settled. People started to notice - which doesn’t matter, but they did nonetheless. I was sleeping over at your house, staying awake with you until the early hours, attending galas and events as your date. And I wasn’t sure what it was - the thing that was bothering me - until one day, it clicked.”
“Lucky…” he whispers, desperate for you to spit it out.
“I’m in love with you.”
The two of you sit the silence for a moment, listening to the breeze softly whip around you.
“That’s what clicked. And that’s why I quit. Because it felt like a conflict of interest, like a… betrayal.”
“A betrayal?”
“Yes. Like I was taking advantage, or something. And I didn’t think it was fair, for you, having me pining over you at work. I didn’t want you to feel pity for me, if you noticed eventually - I hated the idea of being treated differently by you, all through fault of my own. So I quit to get ahead of it.”
“Are ya done?”
“I, uh… yes?”
“Great.”
Declan surges forward, smashing his lips to yours with the most passion than you’ve ever experienced in your life. One of his hands tangles in your hair as the other cradles your face, pulling you as close as he physically can. His tongue slips into your mouth cheekily, allowing you to taste whiskey, cigarettes and the cool night air. Eventually, when you both need to breathe, he pulls away reluctantly, resting his forehead on yours.
“Did you do that to make me shut up?” you murmur, fighting to keep the smile off your face.
“Yes and no.”
He’s grinning like the devil, chuckling as the palms of his hands find your cheeks.
“Yes and no?”
“Yes and no. I took the action needed to stop you rambling. But I’ve been thinking about doing that for a long time.”
“… What?”
“Why do you think we got so comfortable, Lucky? It works two ways. You were just the only one brave enough to make a change - even if it was the completely wrong thing to do.”
“So you don’t hate me?”
“The opposite,” he laughs. “I can’t remember when it happened. I woke up one day and I just knew. And I knew that you’d never feel the same way, but I love being around you so much that I was willing to make that sacrifice. So I was a coward, and I stayed silent.”
“We’ve made this complicated. Too complicated.”
“Much too complicated.”
“But… it is. You were my boss, and you’re older than me, and I’m good friends with Taggie now, and-”
Declan kisses you again, sweeter this time.
“We can figure it out, Lucky. You know we can.”
“Maybe,” you whisper.
“And I want you to come back to work.”
“Declan-”
“I’m serious. I cannot cope without you. I will never find an assistant as good as you, and quite frankly, I don’t want to. I want you. No one else.”
“I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“Why not?”
“Because it’s a conflict of interest, like I said earlier.”
“But it isn’t. Not anymore. Before all of this, we were two people in love working together. And when you come back, we’ll be two people in love working together.”
You can’t find it in you to argue, realising that he’s actually making a good point. If anything, it should be easier now that you’ve both communicated your feelings - no more skeletons in the closet.
“Tell me you don’t miss it,” he provokes. “Tell me you’re not even remotely tempted to come back.”
“I can’t.”
“Exactly.”
You take a deep breath, moving the hair away from his eyes tenderly.
“I’ll think about it, alright? I’ll have a think when I go home.”
“Promise me.”
“I promise.”
He smiles like the cat that’s got the cream, entirely too satisfied with the outcome of this conversation.
“I know we’re in uncharted territory here, Lucky. But we can figure it out. You know we can.”
“I know. It’ll be hard, but… I know.”
You lean up to kiss him softly, sighing as your eyes drift closed. He winds a hand around the back of your neck, deepening the kiss as he pulls you closer, trying to plaster every inch of his body to yours.
You lose yourself in everything Declan - the way he tastes, the way he smells, the way he feels underneath your fingertips. You want to strip him bare right here and memorise every curve of his muscles, every line in his skin, every mark on his face.
His hand slips further and further up the slit of your dress, gripping at your thigh as if he’s worried you’ll slip away. You’re half in his lap, draped over him on the bench as he still pulls you impossibly closer.
“I’ve dreamt of this,” he whispers against your throat. “Every. Single. Night.”
He kisses his way along your neck, revelling in the way you squirm at the feeling of his moustache on your skin. You grab fistfuls of his white shirt, crumpling it in your hands to try and give yourself some sort of anchor.
When Declan’s fingertips slip into your underwear, all you can do is sigh, resigned to the fact that you’d let him do absolutely anything he wanted in this current moment.
“We’re in public,” you protest weakly, both of you knowing you don’t want him to stop.
“We’re at the bottom of the garden, surrounded by three hedges and a wall. If anyone sees, that’s their fault.”
You drop your head forward onto his shoulder, parting your legs to give him a better angle. He sucks in a sharp breath when he feels just how aroused you are, practically vibrating with want.
“Are ya this wet f’me?”
You nod against his shirt, not trusting your voice.
“Oh, sweetheart. Well I can’t leave you like this, can I? That’d be cruel.”
He pulls your underwear to the side fully so he can slip a finger into you with ease, both of you groaning at the sensation. Sliding a second one in, you hold onto him for dear life, panting like you’ve run a marathon.
“Please,” you whisper. “Declan, please.”
“I’ll do anything to hear you say my name like that again, Lucky. Anything in the world.”
“Declan.”
He sets a steady pace, crooking his fingers as he goes to make sure you see stars. Your eyes are rolling back, lip caught between your teeth to stifle any sounds that threaten to escape.
“God, I wish I could hear how pretty you sound,” he groans, looking at you intently. “You can make as much noise as you want when I take you home. Promise.”
You whimper softly, bucking your hips up to meet his rhythm. The bench is cold underneath you, the air turning chilly, but neither of you pay any mind to it. You’re too far gone to care.
You grab Declan’s other hand and stick two of his fingers in your mouth, laving your tongue around them to keep you quiet. He moans at the sight, all deep and rumbled, the sound reverberating through both of you.
“You’re gonna be the death of me.”
All you can do is look at him with big, bright eyes, pleading with him silently to finish the job at hand.
“You want me to make you come, sweetheart? That it?”
When you nod, he picks up the pace of his fingers, thumb pressing circles into your clit.
“Have ya thought about this? In bed, alone, getting yourself off in the dark?”
You whine at his words, nodding your head in answer.
“That’s a good girl. Come for me, sweetheart. Come for me and I’ll take you home and fuck you properly, yeah?”
You see stars as you climax, gripping onto his shirt and his hand for dear life. He works you through it, murmuring filthy promises into your ear as he does it.
Lifting his fingers from between your thighs, he pops them straight into his mouth, both of you groaning in unison.
“Fuck, you taste good,” he murmurs against your lips, leaning in to kiss you softly. “Perfect girl.”
You shuffle sideways so you’re pressed into Declan’s side, two strong arms encircling you immediately.
“Thank you.”
“For the orgasm?”
“Yes and no,” you laugh. “For listening to me. I’ve been going insane trying to think about what I’d say to you if I got the chance to explain myself, but no words seemed to suffice.”
“I just wish you’d talked to me sooner, sweetheart. I’ve been going insane trying to get through life without you. Not to mention that office is chaos.”
You laugh gently, cuddling into him and his warmth.
“I’ll fix it on Monday.”
“Yeah? For definite?” he asks, hope colouring his voice.
“Yeah. Like I said - best job I’ve ever had.”
“You’ve just made me the happiest man alive, sweetheart.”
You grin as you lean in to press a kiss to his lips, all soft and sugary sweet.
“Besides. Someone’s going to have to sort out the inevitable mess that’ll follow you hitting Ginger at a charity gala.”
“Ah, I forgot about that,” he laughs, planting a kiss into your hair. “What would I do without ya, hmm?”
“You’ll never have to find out,” you smile, resting your head onto his shoulder. “Never again.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
You sit on the bench for a little while longer, both of you looking up at the stars that paint the sky in a canopy above your heads. You’re quite convinced you could stay like this forever, just the two of you in your own little universe.
There’s paperwork to be done, meetings to be had, deals to be made. But all of that can wait.
Right now, it’s just you and Declan.
The way it should be.
