Young Royals Word Dump Part 2

I'm around 14-15 minutes into the second episode of YR season 2 (and I can't wait to finish season 3 asap!) and I'm already so angry at Wille's mom. Seriously, THIS PERSON DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO BE A PARENT! She only sees Wille as a substitute for Erik. He is technically, but he is not Erik at all! He never ever wanted to be the Crown Prince! And yet he's forced to be! Also, why tf do you expect someone to be that calm and composed when he's grieving the loss of a person who was so close to him! And she's making decisions for him without even consulting him! Yep, he's still a teen but old enough to have some autonomy which he isn't getting. He sure needs therapy, but not to "control" his "outbursts" but to heal. Wille has severe anxiety issues he needs to work on, to deal with things better. His parents don't even acknowledge it! In fact, they just told him to stop nail-biting when he does it as a coping mechanism (unhealthy but still). I'm sure Wille will heal eventually, but I want to throw hands atm.

I find it really satisfying that Wille is taking August's trip! Although I get where August comes from I see that he's desperately trying, nothing justifies uploading a sex tape without consent. I can't blame Wille for whatever he's doing because both he (and Simon) are traumatized by this whole ordeal. While Simon was trying to move on with Marcus (as encouraged by his friends), he and Wille needed to have an open conversation and talk everything out, although that was too much to expect.

Anyway, for new watchers like me exposed to a tirade of spoilers, let's see how it goes :)

Edit: Okay but Simon has little to no empathy! I know that he's hurt by Wille stabbing him in the back but what other option does he have for fuck's sake when his parents control whatever the shit he does, plus the immense amount of media pressure and pressure to be the Crown Prince! Wille is desperately trying! Goddamn it!

Homecooking [July ed]

This is gonna be a super short post.............. >.<

I got the Korean pickled radish from Hmart - the large bag with the 4 large pieces so I paired it with various things.

With jjajangmyeon, aka Korean black bean noodles. Traditionally, the yellow radish is always eaten with this bcos it offers a contrasting flavour & crunch to the soft, chewy noodles.

& yes! I added coarse salt & pepper to my noodles. It’s actually quite good with the black bean sauce haha

Bcos we had several days where it was just sooooooo hot & I didn’t feel like anything .. so I added some of the radish to my cold noodles. I’ve done this before & I’m not sure why it’s not a thing.. . the broth I have is radish-based. It’s kinda sour, kinda sweet. .. it’s a very refreshing flavour. Adding some of the yellow radish just adds more to it. It enhances the broth’s flavour.

“Home-version poke” consisting of cooked salmon, cherry tomatoes, yellow radish, the Costco tuna poke, & bean sprouts. Later added Korean tartar sauce as the sauce.

Baby kimbaps that has 3 ingredients: Busan fish cake, yellow radish & rice. I seasoned the rice with some salt & that’s it.

Another rice dish with the yellow radish lol omg I had 4 large chunks of it & it’s not like it can be frozen so I felt I was almost in a rush to finish it before it goes bad. This was just a stir-fry with chicken, bean sprouts, & lettuce. I added the radish & dried seaweed on top as a garnish.

The rest. .. majority was just sliced & eaten with whatever I had. I also made another cold noodle with the radish.

Can’t remember if I have posted this. .. I got these Pretz cracker snacks when I was in Korea several yrs ago. I found them in the basement behind some shelf .. . not sure why they’re still around. But anyway, they are finally going *tear* these were soo good!!!

The blue one is Camembert Cheese & Pepper flavour; the red one is Spicy Shrimp. I wished these flavours were available here =(

Air-fried half-chicken. Turned out well~

I cracked open a sea salt I got from Evoolution; the Lime Fresco one. It’s pretty good but I find you need to add a lot of it to taste its flavour.

I don’t normally buy these instant coffees but I’ve never seen this one before. I was curious as to how adding cold water can dissolve a coffee-based powder .. bcos you know, it’s usually you add hot water to dissolve instant coffee or hot chocolate, right? So I tried it with not just room temperature water, but fridged water haha it did dissolve! It took some time though. Like there were large clumps once you add the water but after stirring . .. they eventually all disappear :O  I added the recommended amount & it was way too sweet for me. What I do is I actually mix in instant black coffee in it too.

1. 1 tbsp instant black coffee; dissolve with a little bit of hot water.

2. Add cold water

3. Add 1 packet of the iced coffee powder

Basically. .... I use it as a sweetener lol! But you know, it has .. Timmy’s iced capp vibes on its own so I do recommend trying it if you like iced capp. 

On a side note, INTJ-A is a tough life!

The paper was damp with tears after you lifted your pen for a final time. You wished you could just keep the whole thing a secret: go make a quiet life for yourself somewhere else. It wouldn’t be right. Not after all of the dishonesty that man had spewed to you over the past few years. You had to tell him.

The door to the office room you’d settled in to write the letter creaks open. It’s Levi. He looks at your puffy eyes somberly, sympathetic. He was the first person you had told about the entire situation. Not because you were close, just because you needed help.

You fold your letter and stick it into a sturdy envelope. Levi takes it in his hand.

“That piece of shit doesn’t deserve a thing from you. Not a letter. Certainly not tears,” Levi says, using a clean handkerchief to wipe a stray drop from your cheek, “but I am proud of you.”

You take the handkerchief from him, feeling more tears stream down your face.

“Proud? I’m a fucking idiot,” you say through your sobs.

“Don’t even try to pull that self pity shit with me. Things happen sometimes. And you’re strong enough to commit to getting through it,” he responds.

You stand up, pushing your chair out. You look at him as you dry your face off again.

“I’m alone. How the hell am I supposed to do this shit alone?”

“You are not alone,” Levi replies. You’re shocked when he pulls you into a hug. “I’m going to help.”

You had never seen this side of him before. You look at him as you pull away slowly, tears still welled in your eyes.

“Are you sure? That's a big burden, Levi. None of this has to involve you.”

“Not the biggest burden I’ve ever taken on,” he shrugs. “There’s a lot of death around here, Y/N. Everyone is going to be happy about the little bit of life you’re giving us.”

You chuckle. He’s cynical, but he’s right.

He licks the envelope as he walks toward the door.

“Want me to run you a hot bath or something? Is that the type of shit pregnant people need?” he asks.

Your jaw had dropped reading it. He begged me to kill him.

You hand the letter Levi had just delivered back to him. He reads it with a furrowed brow.

“Do you think…” you begin, your voice shaky, “do you think I could send another letter?”

Levi purses his lips, “Possibly. I can ask Jaeger. But right now, you need to bring your blood pressure back down.”

You were over seven months along now. You had found out about your pregnancy late, after being in denial for four whole months. Hange insisted on checking you out after you’d thrown up every morning for a week.

Levi had since gone on a parenting book reading spree; he made you read several of them too. He knew just about everything you needed to do to make a healthy baby: what to eat, what not to eat, how to exercise, when to go to the doctor, etc. It was really sweet how much he cared. You knew it gave him hope, something to fight for, something to come home to.

You were terrified when he left for Marley. You kissed him for the first time when he returned. Just about everyone you knew had to fight. You wished you could be out there fighting with them like you were supposed to. Maybe you could have made a difference.

Levi takes your hand, squeezing it to bring you out of your thoughts.

“What can I do?” he asks.

“Get me a glass of wine,” you grumble.

“Absolutely not.”

You feel your first contraction while napping on the couch with Levi. You were settled in between his legs, your back leaning up against his chest. He had his hands on your stomach; he loved to feel the baby kick and tell them some of the happier stories in his memories.

The two of you had grown so close over the past few months. You slept together every night now. You didn’t want to leave each other’s sides if you didn’t have to. Levi would cuddle and massage you any time your pregnant body was ailing you.

You had fantasized with him about life after the war. He wanted to be a husband, a father, to live peacefully in the countryside. And he wanted more than anything for you to join him.

The first contraction wasn’t painful enough for you to make much more than a grunting noise, but Levi woke up the second he felt your stomach contort a bit. He was on very high alert these days.

“Holy… shit…is that what I think it is?” Levi whispers, “Don’t answer. I’m getting Hange.”

He crawls out from behind you and sprints out of the room.

The pain worsens and becomes much more frequent while he’s out looking for Hange. You stand up eventually after getting the urge to walk around - and your water breaks. You start panicking, unsure of how dilated you were and how much time you had left before pushing. You really wished you’d done more than just skimmed through those birthing books right about now.

Levi and Hange eventually come sprinting back into the room with a wheelchair and cold rags to find you whimpering in pain on the couch, trying your best to control your breathing.

You’re rushed down the halls to the Scout’s infirmary, where Levi had made sure the perfect room was set up for you - and it had been that way for two months.

The next hour goes by in a blur. Hange knew the biology of how to deliver the baby, and Levi knew how to coach you. He helped you hold your legs back when you pushed, and helped you count out your breathing. Hange attended to everything that might have made Levi faint, like checking your dilation and making sure the baby was coming out at the right angle. You got lucky having these two by your side.

Through all of your efforts, you finally hear a cry. You look up to see Levi holding your tiny new baby as Hange wiped them clean. He was smiling, way bigger than you’d ever seen him smile before, with tears in his eyes.

“Here,” he says softly, handing her to you.

You cradle her on your bare skin. “She’s so perfect, Levi! Look how sweet she is!” you coo.

“What are you going to call her?” he asks, stroking your hair as you gleam down at your baby.

“I was thinking,” you smile, “Kuchel.”

Levi lets out small gasp. Tears start streaming down his face, his efforts to stifle them failing.

“Really? I think that’s,” he wipes his eyes, “a wonderful name.”

She’s finally here! Oh my god, she’s precious. Levi and Hange helped to deliver her. Labor went smoothly. Levi started to cry when he saw her for the first time. She really is just that perfect. Levi set up the perfect nursery for us.

a voltron au? in 2020? it’s more likely than you think

look. LOOK. i know that voltron is stupid and we hate it but lets be honest: everything up until season 3 was pretty good and had lots of potential !!

today i was rewatching voltron and a thought struck me: what if, instead of shiro being cloned, he was chipped and turned to the side of the galra?

so here it is, i did not blink since i thought of this

(warning, i have not seen voltron in a while and this is just knowledge i have stored in my moss brain and stuff i know from rewatching the first season)

au where shiro goes evil bc of what happens @ end of season one instead of the clone thing bc 1) haggar rly could not have made thousands of shiros after bumping into team voltron like what twice? its hella improbable and 2) just… weird

so instead they insert a chip in him that helps them spy and control him just like kuron (the clone) did minus the unlikely storytelling

eventually after the convo with sendak when he was in the pod trying to temp shirp, he does have thoughts about helping zarkon

(“im already infiltrated with the arm, i could just speed up the process by leaving now. save the team the trouble of investing in a leader that’s doomed to fail from the strart.”)

shiro ends up leaving team voltron in season 2 after zarkon goes crazy w the black lion n stuff

^^ this adds to Keith’s reasoning of joining the Blade of Marmora (shiro is his main stability and one of the main reasons he even stuck around with team voltron, so with shiro gone and keith questioning his place as the leader and paladin of the black lion, he decides the BoM is just.. what’s best for him) 

obviously lance isn’t happy with this (“you just told me that i’m a valuable member, now you don’t think YOU are? what logic is that?”)

ofc keith goes anyways

lance becomes paladin of the black lion

allura takes on the red lion

who has blue lion? ...idk this isn’t that thought out (maybe matt after pidge finds her family) (which will happen earlier in the plot since we can forget about the miniplot of black no longer responding to shiro)

enter lotor only this time he has a sidekick and what omg its shiro wow

shiro has that bigger version of his arm that was once offered to him

he’s stronger and scary, but his eyes aren’t the same, he has the strength of a galra but lacks the passion 

in the fight between lotor and zarkon, (and after, of course lots of self doubt and questioning) shiro comes between them and convinces lotor NOT to kill zarkon

then zarkon kills lotor

everyones like oh shit bc surely someone who’s life was just spared wouldn’t kill the person who seems to have the most power

but he did. bc he’s zarkon. and he’s fckn crazy.

shiro doesn’t go back to team voltron bc its too much too easily

instead he takes the place of lotor in the group of gals 

he convinces them all to rebel against the galra

eventually they teach him all about quintessence and all the shit lotor had planned that they can’t do anymore

(lotor wasn’t harvesting alteans in this universe bc what the heck even was that subplot that had little to no relevance to the main storyline?

instead he was trying to find a way to technologically bring back alteans (kinda like how allure’s dad was originally preserved in s1)

i know nothing about How Stuff Works and i dont remember much about quintessence n shit but the basic idea is that when tying in some of a persons artifacts with technology stuff and some quintessence then boom. a weird route from astral projection land to the team is created and ppl can come back or smth idfk

but lotor was never able to get the comet so shiro decides he and the gals will get that comet and try to bring back as many alteans as they can

^ all this while infiltrating as many galra fleets as possible + saving planets under galra empire

they personally visit every planet that lotor was in charge of and release them from galra control

they are able to bring back an altean (its romelle) and she talks abt her friend who lives on the balmera and they go to the balmera and its revealed that it was shay’s great grandmother so romelle asks where shay is and shay’s family is like with team voltron of course

so

they take her

obviously team voltron, the BoM and the Rebels r very hesitant to make contact but they decide to try it out

keith refuses to meet, instead he’s on the team that stands guard

reunions !! 

romelle and shay hit it off and hunk makes a dinner much like roselle’s past (allura and coran also hang out and they all vibe)

lance talks to shiro abt everything to do with keith and shiro is like dude do u??? like him?

and lance is like what? no ofc not—oh shit.

and keith ✨overhears ✨

pidge matt and shiro catch up n shit

meanwhile keith is like Hey Lance Uhhhhhh What The Fuck

they end up being like hey since we’re all here and we hate zarkon what if we make a plan to end the galra’s reign Right Now

so they do

and y’all.. it’s hella baller plan

except something is going wrong and in the middle of an attack zarkon is able to get the upper hand 

due to haggar’s magic and lance’s mental and emotional instability, zarkon is able to get in his head

everyone is trying to talk him down but they’re all under a lot of pressure

allura is also conflicted bc she wanted to be black lion bc she wanted to rub it in to zarkon’s face that she was stronger than he and that she could beat him at his own game

but the negativity and instability feeds into zarkon’s power and makes him and haggar stronger as they pull in voltron to finally take over the team and regain their status as the most powerful alien race

hunk realizes this and is like okay can y’all stop being negative? its clearly affecting them in a good way and it makes us an easier target

and pidge is like im literally a child pls i don’t wanna die i just got my family back it can’t end like this

shiro realizes what’s going on and he goes to save them

he uses all his energy, pulling in the positive memories (everything: first learning about space, becoming a teacher, meeting adam, meeting keith, first making team voltron, his friends and family--all of it) to push back zarkon and haggar’s powers and battle once more in the astral realm 

in defeating zarkon, shiro loses his life

afterwards keith enters the ship in a hurry and is like where the fuck is shiro where’s my brother what did you do what happened

and team voltron is like hey man.. we are so so sorry

and keith cries because the last thing he ever said to shiro was mean

lance feels like its all his fault since he was supposed to be a good leader

they talk about separately while hunk pidge and allura discuss

krolia is like keith we, ur family, are here for u

and axca is there and shes like um?? hey?? sry for trying to kill u bro

and he’s like i absolutely do not wanna talk i just lost my closest friend

they talk about it later

axca tells keith abt shiro finishing lotor’s work and abt bringing people back and well.. 

they use the methods to help keith visit shiro in the astral realm

shiro is like oh uh hey i was just having a drink w adam we r happy

and keith is like shiro u fuckhead why would u sacrifice urself

shiro sighs bc cmon keith you KNOW why “remember what i always said? we can’t focus on what went wrong..”

“we’ve got to figure out how to make it right” keith finishes

keith breaks tf down crying and screams apologizing

“i love u shiro. ur a like a big brother to me.”

and shiro is like yeah i know and ilyt but hey. everyone’s safe and happy. im safe and happy. & you deserve to be too. you don’t need me anymore.

so the galra rule is over and everyone goes to their respected planets

romelle and the other alteans as well as some galra babes hang in earth

romelle and shay r in an apartment together and have a garden

allura realizes she may not have been the strongest leader for voltron, and  couldn’t stop zarkon on her own but that physical strength doesn’t define her as a whole

her heart is strong enough to care for everyone, so thats what she does

allura starts running an inn for alteans filled with painted sceneries like altea in case anyone ever needs a reminder of home

when lance reunites with his family its a real tearjerker

rachel finally gets her jacket back and veronica is like So.. Axca 👀

the McClain’s host a huge party for everyone and it’s filled with lots of hugs and loud music and even tho lance was way too tired, he danced all night

he wouldn’t trade his family for the world—genetic and chosen

when hunk reunites with his parents they don’t let him out the house for hours, he tells them all about his new best friend shay as well as hundreds of his favorites stories from space

they are so, so proud of him

hunk spends the next days playing minecraft and animal crossing with pidge, giving their brains a rest from being on hyperdrive for 3 yrs straight

when pidge gets home she finally gets grounded by her mom, only being allowed to leave the house to see her old teammates

(same for matt and her dad)

(her mother cries so hard when they opened the door to the home)

the holt family holds movie nights filled with popcorn, cuddles, and tears

keith moves in with the holt family, and finally accepts that he has a home as well as a family

he often goes on trips with the BoM but mostly just stays on earth

after a Team Voltron sleepover in the altea inn keith and lance decide to get an apartment together and live their lives in love and in peace

everyone gets together once a year in celebration of shiro and the sacrifice he made for them

they use the ship to visit Astral Shiro and once they even met adam

everyone laughs and catches up and just... live their lives

everyone is happy

It took a lot of time. And I suppose I will never fully love her after she raped Graham for...years... and murdered people - children when she was a tiny bit frustrated. I would even say that she is irredeemable. And I thought her redemtion arc was unrealistic in the beginning, and for God’s sake, she should not have been crowned The Good Queen in season 7. But she tried to change so hard for Henry, she tried to redeem herself. Tried to be a good mother for a change. She saved multiple lives and souls. She didnt completely redeem herself, I must admit it. But she tried so hard and I feel like she deserves something from that. She eventually became a very good mother, even though it was a little late since Henry was already 12 when she became one. She was still a bitter bitch and blamed innocent people for unfortunate things that happened to her (Zelena, Mary Margaret, Emma) but by season 7, she became something more than that. She became half good. Grey. And even though she didnt completely redeem herself, she came close. Also, I love her sassy personality, she should be crowned The Sassy Queen, not The Good Queen.

Rumplestiltskin (Once Upon A Time)

The Dark One who after 7 seasons became one of the greatest heroes in OUAT. The man who was known as the village coward because he ran away from the Ogre War and was too afraid to fight for his wife became one of the bravest men. Like Regina, he was a murderer. He was super manipulative with all his deals and the «all magic comes with a price, dearie» thing. He manipulated people into getting themselves killed. Before he became The Dark One, he was a good man with a pure heart. But the power of the dagger took over him and his heart was all black. He was power sick. He always wanted power, but not for selfish reasons. He felt like he needed power to protect his son Bealfire/Neal and his wife Milah, but when he took that power, the darkness came over him and he, after time, became evil. It wasn’t before he met Belle French his heart showed a little bit of light. As he said, she was his light in an ocean of darkness. Their relationship was problematic and selfish in the beginning. He manipulated her into thinking he changed (which you know i detest *cough* James Potter) Rumple loved power more than he loved her, at least in season 4. He too often chose it over her, until season 6 when he started to properly redeem himself. His redemtion arc took over 300 years but it came in the end. His love for her changed A LOT. In the other seasons, his love was unhealthy and selfish. But in season 6 and 7, he changed a lot. This time it wasnt only for Belle, but Gideon too. They helped him let go of power and in season 7, he tried so hard to get rid of the dagger and the power so that he could live a normal life with his family. And after Belle died, he didn’t return to the dagger or the dark side. He helped the good side to defeat Drizella and the other villians in that season. He even became a father figure to Alice. And in the end he sacrificed himself to save Killian’s (Nook) life. And he got reunited with Belle. He is the most interesting character in OUAT, no doubt there.

Sawyer/James Ford (LOST)

Sawyer is without a doubt one of my fave characters from LOST (after Charlie and John) in his background, he was a thief and manipulated woman to believe he loved them, just to take all their money. (Maybe except Cassidy, since he fell in love with her later, but he still manipulated her AND got her pregnant) He’s a real asshole. Buuut - then he became an entirely different (and better) man. He meets Kate Austen and I feel like his love for her changes his character. In the beginning he was a bit of a perve with her (i mean, walking straight towards her completely naked...) he doesnt develope much in the 1 season, but later (beginning in the 3 season) he becomes quite selfless and protective. In season (was it 4? I dont quite remember) he falls in love again with Juliet Burke, and heeeeell, she was good for him. He also developes a nice relationship with Claire Littleton (platonic) he becomes protective of her. He attemts to comfort Hurley after Charlie’s death. In the rest of the seasons he is the born leader. He puts the team before himself (like when he sacrificed his chance to escape the Island) and in the paralell universe he is absolutely the best.

Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights)

Okay, no he’s not exactly a grey character since he’s a lot more dark than light, but I love him too much to not put him here. Differently from the other character I’ve mentioned above, Heathcliff doesnt have a redemtion. He died an awful person. He abused and manipulated a lot of people. Before he became this asshole, he was a much better person. He was an ass to those who deserved it (Hindley, That bitch deserved to die so young. Edward was a kind man, but I don’t like him, sooo... nevermind) The way he treated Isabella was sickening and awful, she had every right to leave him and take Linton away and hate him. I Don’t like Isabella, but she never deserved to be treated that way. His love for Cathy was unhealthy, but it was true and he would do so much for her. (They kinda remind me of Snily, so ofc I ship it) Heathcliff went through so much trauma in his life and never recovered. After Cathy died, he was practically dead too, then he killed himself years later. His life made me cry for days, especially the ending. He is such an interesting character with so many layers.

Ulrich Nielsen (Dark)

(Before I say anything, I haven’t finished the entire show yet, so this is gonna be short and probably not 100% correct)

To be honest, I don’t like Ulrich at all as a person. I look at him and I see a fully grown up man with no remorse for what he did to Regina as a teen. He cheated on his wife with a woman he didnt even love. He tried to murder a CHILD who hadnt done anything wrong (yet) because he thought he was going to kill his brother and son in the future (okay, i get why he did it. He was desperate to get Mikkel back and the whole time-tarvelig thing was extremely stressfull) BUT HE COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING A LOT LESS HARMFULL TO PREVENT EVERYTHING TO HAPPEN. Despite this, i love him as a character. He is so interesting and there are times were I have to remind myself why i dont like him. He is brave and intelligent and... so fucking hot as a teen.

Hannah Kahnwald (Dark)

(Again, havent watched the whole show yet)

This girl is MESSED UP. When she was fourteen, she accused Ulrich of being a rapist, which is a very serious accusation and then blamed it on Regina who she knew was a victim of Ulrich and Katharina’s bullying. She is a home-wrecker, and when Katharina found out about Ulrich cheating on her with Hannah and confronted her, Hannah blamed it on Ulrich and said he pressed her and that she wanted it to end, but he refused or whatever, i dont 100% remember the conversation. But she was also a very good mother to Jonas and she was so sweet to Mikkel/Michael. She is a bitch, so much that its impossible to not like her.

Severus Snape (Harry Potter)

Saved the best one to last. The guy my whole account is about, ofc he’s on this list, and ofc this is gonna be the longest text.

This guy is a complete asshole. Always has been, always will be. He bullied Harry and Co (mostly Harry and Neville) he was a bitter and sarcastic bitch. He used to be a follower of Voldemort. Even in his youth he had a lot of flaws. We all know he became the bastard he was due to childhood trauma, mental illnesses and manipulation. I believe he had depression, grief and PTSD. At least in his 20’s he was suicidal, and I believe it remained like that til the day he died, because he had no one to help him or give him support. He turned to the dark side in an attemt to make his life better (as many members of gangs do) but he only stayed like that for two years, which is extremely impressive if you know what kind of person Voldemort is. As a 21 year old, Snape was a very different person from what he was as a 38 year old. If he was the way he was as a 38 yr old when Lily, James and Harry was in danger. First of all, he wouldnt start to try to save Lily by asking Voldemort, he would have went straight to Dumbledore, probably with his own brilliant plan on how to save them. Second, he wouldnt hesitate for a second to save James and Harry to. In canon, he needed to have a personal reason to save them, which was Lily’s feelings I believe. As a 38 yr old, he risked his life to save people he hated (Lupin) This is a great character developement. He went from being a selfish bitch, to become a selfless asshole. He was that kind of person who did anything in his power to protect someone, even if that person had nothing to do with winning the war and had nothing to gain himself.

Don’t Stand So Close to Me

Five was, for lack of a better word, irritated.

"STOP IT."

"Stop what?" Klaus asked, looking confused. Five had been working on some calculations when Klaus came in and put a hand on his shoulder. Five shrugged it off, and decided that enough was enough.

"Stop touching me. God, what's wrong with you. Everyone else gets it. I don't like being touched, I have NEVER liked being touched, and in case you were wondering, spending 45 years alone in a post-apocalyptic wasteland didn't change that. Why Klaus? Why can't you get that?" There was silence for a moment before Klaus answered, in a whisper so low that if that house hadn't been empty, Five wouldn't have been able to hear.

"I need to know that you're here"

Five gave him a weird look "So do the rest of them, they look Klaus, with their eyes, not their fingers. You can see me, I am here" Klaus looked Five right in the eye "So is Ben"

Five opened his mouth the make a retort, but nothing came out. What do you even say to that?

Klaus took advantage of the silence to continue, pacing his arms waving for emphasis. "I see him all the time. I know everyone thinks I couldn't before because I was always high, but I could. I can see him all the time, and he looks just like he did the last time I saw him, same age, same god damn outfit."

"Klaus" Five started, but was interrupted by Klaus continuing waving his hand as if to shush Five.

"You know I tried to summon you every day after you left. Not just when Dad or the others gave up and started asking, but every day after you left. Because I knew, I knew you had to be dead. I knew you were dead because otherwise you would have come back. So you had to be dead because you didn't come. And you promised" Klaus was near tears at this point, his voice breaking on the word promised.

"What?"

"You promised me, do you remember? We were kids and we were playing hide and seek, or escape and evade whatever, it was one of dads fucked up training games, and you jumped, and I couldn't find you, and I freaked out cause I thought you were gone forever. Dad was pissed I was crying, and I got in shit. But that night you jumped into my room after lights out and you promised me you would always come back. And you did, until you didn't, and I knew you had to be dead because you promised me you would come back and you NEVER broke a promise, but you didn't come back" Klaus was crying now, fat tears rolling down his face.

"You think I didn't TRY to get back?" Five interrupted, furious. "I tried every day! It was weeks before I could jump more than a few blocks. I did everything to come back, and your pissed I broke some sort of promise, Christ Klaus, grow up"

"I get it ok, I get you couldn't come back, I know that NOW, but I didn't then. I thought you were mad at me" Klaus swiped at his tears with back of his hand.

Five was confused "What does me being mad have to do with any of this"

"The morning that you left I came into your room and you were working on some equation, and I startled you, and you jumped, and I spilt my water all over your book, and you flipped. Like were super pissed, said I ruined everything and you hated me. Then you were gone. And I kept trying to summon you and you wouldn't come"

"I didn't come, because I wasn't dead" Five said slowly enunciating each word condescendingly. God Klaus could be slow sometimes.

"Ya, but I knew you were dead right, because you didn't come back, and that meant you were dead. But there were ghosts before that I tried to summon for dad, and they always had to choose to come, and if they don't want to they don't have to, and I thought. I thought you wouldn't come because you were mad at me. So I kept trying every day because maybe someday you would get over it. And you didn't, and I hated it. You know what it feels like, knowing that I could see you again, but I couldn't because I fucked it up. Dad told me I couldn't see you because I was worthless, and I knew he was right"

"Klaus" Five interrupted, startled.

"No, let me finish. I knew he was right, and I didn't want him to be, so I made a reason you couldn't see me" Klaus admitted with a shrug, sitting on the bed.

"How?" Five was confused now, how could Klaus have made a reason?

"Started to drink more, tried drugs, did a lot of drugs. I knew they blocked my powers and if I was high, and if I couldn't see you when I was high it was because my powers weren't working, not cause you didn't want to see. Until"

"Until what?" Five asked quietly. At this point he had to admit, he wasn't sure that he even wanted the answer.

"Until Ben died. He turned up when I was drunk, and high, and there wasn't enough drugs to drown him out and I knew that I couldn't see you because of me. And by then there wasn't any reason to stop, because I really was worthless, a fucking homeless junkie. I tried calling everyone you know, Diego, Allison, Luther, even Vanya, and no one fucking answered. Then that book came out, and I realized that was how they all thought of me too, fucking worthless junkie. And I still couldn't see you and i tried. Every . Fucking. Day. I was trying even when I was pretending to summon dad.

And then you were here. But everyone else said they could see you. And I get it, you don't like when I touch you. But you are standing there looking the way you did the last time I saw you down to the god damn weather inappropriate shorts, standing right beside Ben, looking just as real, and I can't not touch you, because I don't know how else to be sure you aren't really dead.

How the fuck else do I tell if you didn't just get over it, cause there is this minute in the morning I forget you came back and I try and summon you and then you are here looking like that and I am sorry, ok, I'll try to stop, I really will, but I, can I, " Klaus reached out toward Five, but pulled his hand back just short of touching him. "Sorry, I won't, i just, I'll go, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad, I" Klaus used the back of the hello hand to swipe at his tears, and made to stand, when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Five had closed the distance between them.

"I'm sorry Klaus"

"For what?" Klaus was the one that with the confused look now, and Five realised he didn't understand.

"For not coming back, for forgetting I promised, for forgetting about your powers, about forgetting how you have problems telling the living from the dead sometimes. I tried to come back, I really did, and I will try harder now that I am back, okay?"

"To come back? But you're here?"

"To be here for you. Its been a long time since I was around people Klaus. I worked for the commission, but that was a job full of messages on paper. I forgot how to be a person, fuck Klaus, my name is a number, I don't think I ever really learned how to be a person. But I will try to do better okay? "Five's face was scrunched up, and it looked like it was hurting him to say this.

"Okay" Five stared for a moment. He had forgotten how incredibly forgiving Klaus could be.

"Now, is there anything I can do, you know, for you?" Five asked Klaus awkwardly.

"Don't leave me again?" Klaus asked. Five could tell from the look on his face that he didn't expect Five to go along with it. "I won't" Five said, saddened by the surprise on Klaus's face.

"Promise?" Klaus asked, sounding hopeful and far more like the 13 year old he remembered than the 30 yr old Klaus now was.

"I promise" Five answered. He took a deep breath in, and let it out, and braced himself. Klaus looked confused, as Five leaned towards him slowly. He reached out and hugged Klaus. It felt...strange. Five knew he was too stiff, and Klaus was warm and perfectly still for a moment. Then Five felt Klaus's arms come around him. They stayed like that for a minute and then just when Five was about to let go, it was like Klaus melted. Five felt Klaus's weight shift onto him as he felt every muscle in Klaus's body relax revealing just how much tension he had been holding. Then the arms tightened around him hard and Klaus's chin dug into his shoulder, and then his face into Five's neck. And then it wasn't so awkward. It was...nice.

Five didn't know how long they stayed like that, but eventually a thought occurred to him.

"Klaus?" He asked.

"Hmmm," Klaus mumbled into his shoulder.

"What were you doing here in the first place?"

"What?" Klaus sounded confused, as he pulled away from Five.

"When you came here, you looked like you were going to say something, and then I interrupted you. Was there something you came for?" Klaus scrunched up his face, and then focused on something behind Five.

"Oh, ya, we were all going to go out for dinner later tonight, and I said I would come up and see if you wanted to go?"

Five turned his head and saw nothing behind him. "Is Ben here?"

"Ya"

"Was he here the entire time?" Five asked, looking around even though he knew he wouldn't be able to see Ben.

Klaus looked pensive for a moment. "I am not sure really, I wasn't paying attention."

Five smiled, "So nothing new then"

Klaus huffed standing up, and twirling away dramatically. "You wound me." Klaus headed towards the door.

Five called out stopping him before he got too far past the door. "Hey Klaus."

"Whaaaat?" Klaus dragged out, using a put upon tone.

"Are you going to dinner tonight?" Five asked.

"Ya, why?" Klaus asked.

"Then I am too." It was an impulsive decision, committing him to spending 2-3 hours jammed at some restaurant being treated like a kid by some waitress and listening to his family bitch. The more he thought about it, the more he regretted it. Then just as he was about to tell Klaus he changed his mind, Klaus smiled at him, his whole face lighting up.

It made Five both happy and very sad. Happy that he made Klaus so happy and sad that it took so little to make his brother happy, and yet he wasn't happy very often.

"Come get me when its time?" Five asked.

"Yes sure, you betcha." Klaus replied, dancing out of Five's room. Five sighed, as he looked over at his book or calculations. He was really going to have to try harder with Klaus. Even if dinner was going to be absolutely miserable.

Notes: This got stuck in my head, took forever to find a place for it. A one-shot for now. May expand on the further Five-Klaus interactions later. Deliberately wrote this from the Five perspective so that I didn't have to deal with Ben. He may or may not have been there. For now its up to you.

I decided to unceremoniously break the one rule I set for myself every single time a new season of this show is released, which is TO NOT POST SPOILERS EVER, because I figured this was too fun not to share. So, instead of outright filling your dash with my critical & ridiculous thoughts, I’ve composed them into musical format via a YouTube mixtape. It’s 27 songs long and will take about an hour and a half of your life.

Keep in mind that this playlist is FILLED WITH SPOILERS. Even though it’s mostly a joke-y song-inspired summary of the events in S6, please do not listen to the playlist until you’ve watched the entire season. It will make 0 sense, as opposed to the minuscule fraction of sense it would’ve made if you had finished watching. Plus, you’ll be mad that you ruined it for yourself. It’s honestly an interesting collection of episodes!

This is a mix between shitpost and serious because I couldn’t think of anything country/southern-related that fit the bill for their “let’s run off and hide and be together” scenario except for this song. Stuck with the horse metaphor, I guess. :P

Romelle telling the tale of their supposed “messiah” being Lotor and all the abuse the missing Alteans went through. I wanted to get a song that accurately captured my emotions of “what the fuck” but nothing I had could match the tone. So why not go for the opposite?

def Allura & Lotor, mostly Allura thinking that he's finally the one. “Boost” in the lyrics probably refers to Lotor subtly trying to get out of the immoral shit he did in his past that she doesn’t know about yet.

Lotor betraying the team but AT LAST revealing exactly where he stands. He’s been so ambiguously untrustworthy for so long that it feels nice to get some closure.

Acxa, Zethrid, and Ezor getting tired of Lotor's shit and betraying him again. It’s a pretty snazzy battle anthem.
