I may be 7 hours late but something i think about a lot, what would vanny (or Vanessa even) think about the princess quest arcade machines? Do you think she knows they're the key to her freedom or did glitchtrap keep her in the dark? Do you think she's ever tried to beat them and save herself but been unable to? Or would glitchtrap stop her before she could even try? Do you think vanny would try to protect the machine or would she fear it?

The connection between her and those arcade machines is so interesting to me I'm curious what other people think about them too

honestly I think she’s completely aware of what the game is and what it does. It just doesn’t power on for her.

Princess quest is a funny concept and I like to think malhare can just. Toss her consciousness in there like really fucked up time out… halfway through security breach she was stuck in there while he was puppeting the body. Smth smth “ugh you’re failing so badly at this. It’s like you don’t even want to kill him. To the arcade game with you.” This is my silly explanation for the change in the jumpscare muhaha. I think she sort of resents the game. Like. It’s a prison, you know? Sure she can fight back in the second game but she’s still not free. If she ever tried to beat the game on her own it would not work. Because it needs an outside player too yk,, idk I like the haunted videogames . essentially Gregory and ness needed to work together to beat it even if they weren’t really fully aware of the situation at hand. I think she knew he was saving her though, even if he didn’t know what he was doing. Which is partially why she was so quick to be nice to him upon being freed. “holy shit this weird 12 year old just freed me from like four years of dealing with that old guy in my brain I need to get him ice cream NOW”
