To follow on from that last ask answer:
Lorenza’s succubus companion (screen left) compared to her initial form directly after the Flood of Darkness (centre) ..compared to her form directly before the Flood of Darkness (top)

And if you want to know the full story (Endwalker spoilers for the last picture, technically)..
This is (my in-game recreation of) her counterpart shard ^-^
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Cessair is apparently an Irish name meaning “sorrow” or “affliction”, so part of me is tempted to call her Thirteenth counterpart Tristezza, which means “sorrow” in Italian. But I’m not sure if I will go that far yet; my focus is moreso on Cessair herself. I have quite inexplicably gotten attached to her despite this encyclopaedia entry and Cait Sith’s dialogue during the Shadows of Mhach quests being just about the only information to exist regarding her. When Lorenza enters the Source in the main story, it is the third time she has done so. Appearing to Cessair in the Fifth Astral Era was the second! The first was to the Allagans.
How do I know Cessair had counterpart shards, you might ask? Because you can see her unsundered self in the game as well - next to Cait Sith, at that!)
Tumblr media
(..You would not believe how much trouble I had to go through to unmask her and the others. But I got there in the end!)
Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this ^-^ I’m just having fun here, hehe

LISTEN I've been wanting to make them as bjds for a year at least the urge is so strong it's grabbing my neck
Although in my case I want to do the designs I have of them and also I am determined to figure out how to design fat bjds cause I refuse to make my girl Mary thin 😤
I actually have no experience whatsoever with bjd making but I've been watching some videos and I might save to get a bunch of supplies 👀✨
Like part of the reason I'm so excited about it it's because it requires different skills – character design, hairstyling, painting, even sewing!!!! And idk it just brings me joy to be able to create something "out of thin air", so to speak
Okay rant's over wjfhejfhe I wish you happy holidays!!! ✨✨✨
BRO IVE BEEN WANTING TO DO BJD'S FOR AGES its only recently that i kinda want to make the sandersons sbndndndnd. i still wanna do the plushies first cuz im not super great with making things by hand and i dont have the materials to make bjd's of 'em yet. i do have some old dolls, but i get the feeling that if i try to work on them, theyre gonna get really badly messed up
initially i wanted to make the redesigns i have for some of my fave monster high characters so they look more monstery, mostly headmistress bloodgood cuz i am determined to make her look more like a dullahan cuz i have so many thoughts about that in particular and im a lil saddened they never really took that route, but its understandable cuz a) that'd probs take a lot of time to animate and b) dullhahan are actually really terrifying and i dont think they wanted to make her so scary that she'd frighten kids (i feel like if they did go that route, lil kid me wouldve fallen even harder for her than i already did and that is saying something sbdbdn)
i feel like you could probably use some kind of sculpting or modeling clay to add on to the dolls to make them fat, but idk what types of clay would work for that dbbdbd. like, ive seen so many people use clay to sculpt out horns or thicken and/or lengthen a doll's arms or legs, so i dont see why you couldnt do somwthing similar for mary
i swear its something about creating a 3 dimensional thing that feels so exciting and so intrinsicly human, if that makes sense? like, being able to make dolls and figurines and charms and stuff out of clay and puting it together onto something sturdy to make sure it doesnt fall to pieces, something people have done since forever and changed it over time with new materials to work with and new processes to use it just. idk if im maoing a lick of sense, i just woke up shdjdnnf
i dont really have much experience in the sculpting area, but i think thats what makes working with new mediums so much fun. just being able to mess around and learn firsthand what works and doesnt work and learning from that, using your old creations and inspiration for something new. thats part of the reason why i keep a lot of my sketches, even if theyre really old. i always wind up inspired by it, and i wind up recreating the thing with how i do art now, or i try to put it into a new medium i learned as a sort of testament to how much that thing meant to me
aahh, i rambled on too shdjjd. i really wanna make dolls of them now. maybe i should see if my community college has any sculpting classes, that way even if we dont quite learn to make human/human adjacent things, it might give me just the help i need to be able to do it
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧ happy holidays!! ☆゚.*・。*.✧

Little Figma update
Pac's Figma is stressing me the hell out but that's mostly because I'm making him from the ground up and he requires the most customization. The hoodie looks great, though I did have to fix a crack and I'm not super happy with the fact that the bottom is so wide, but I think I'll have to make piece with that and leave it as-is. I'm also adjusting the pegs for his bangs a bit so they slot into place a bit better but that was more frustrating than I expected
Bobby... Bobby's Figma is going to be the death of me if Pac's isn't. I adore Bobby so much but for the life of me I cannot get pieces that work together. I finally settled on a face I like for him, but it makes his head too big for any of the bodies I had picked out, so it's back to the drawing board for him
Richarlyson, the reason I started this whole project in the first place before it spiraled out of control, has been on pause. I need to test different ways to change skintone because my initial test was great, except it wound up wiping his face plates and that was a very pricey mistake. The other issue is that compared to all the other Figmas, his head looks WAY too big since I chose a completely different style Figma for his base not realizing I'd wind up making other Figmas. I'll still probably proceed with that one anyways but that's a bit annoying.
Tilin's hair is finally something I'm happy with (and more importantly it actually matches her face size). I might also add some ruffles under her skirt if I want to add detailing on it like I am for some of the others.
JuanaFlippa's going to be the tallest Egg which was unintentional but funny considering how tall her parents are. Gave her top surgery, realized that because it's an older model there was nothing underneath it, gave her new front padding and will probably have to do a bit more shaving tomorrow (or whenever).
Pac was going to be the one exception to my "No player characters" rule, but I think it would be really fun to have a Jaiden Figma too, so she's also on the list because I got some pieces I think would fit her well. I'm still mixing and matching parts to see what would work for her best, but she's also a backburner project right now since, like Pac, she'll require a lot of customization.
I was only planning on making a few Eggs but I wound up accumulating a lot of parts back when I was still getting stuff so I added a few more to the list:
Finally figured out how I want to do Tallulah's skirt (thank god) and am tentatively excited to see how that goes. Not as thrilled with her hair / head as I initially was, but I think I'll warm up to it again the more I work on her.
I wasn't planning on making Empanada, but in one of the lots I got ages back I realized I had a face / hairstyle that suits her / how I see her, so I probably am making her after all. I'm not super happy with how short her skirt is but there's only so much I can do to fix that with my materials so it's whatever. It's a cute outfit and all of these basically look like teenage versions of the Eggs so it's whatever x2. (I'm just realizing right now she looks kind of like Niki, which is a funny coincidence, but that's only because I haven't painted her yet).
Finally massacred the poor doll I plan on using for Pomme (probably) but still not sure how I want her outfit to look. I went back and forth on her design a lot, I've seen a lot of cool fanart for Pomme so it's hard to pick just one design to go with.
I was going to do Chayanne since I had some things I thought would suit him, but I did some mask tests that looked pretty bad and I have no idea how the hell to do that yet, so he's on an indefinite pause at the moment
I do have some materials I could use to make Sunny but I'm not sure how to make her look like the designs I like yet so she's also still in the "maybe" stage.
I have absolutely no idea in mind for Dapper so he's not currently on the "To Do" list at all
I was going to say I really want to make Ramon but I also don't have an idea / design in mind for him, but as I was writing this post an idea came to me, so he's on the list now! Really excited to do his, I think I'll have to do a lot of tweaks (especially for his accessories) but I like the idea. (Though this was one of the bodies I had in mind for Bobby)
I've got a lot of parts I could use for Leo but 0 outfits for her (RIP, so hard to get figmas that wear literally anything other than a school uniform skirt).
I've got a very specific idea in mind for Pepito, but I'm not buying any more Figma things because that's Expensive, but if I ever do someday far in the future have a comfortable income, I'll get the base I have in mind for him, and it should be a relatively simple project.
