so the series is sort of in a weird limbo/hiatus/VERY VERY slow update schedule

I do tend to get this ask quite often, and have tried to clear up confusion with a FAQ or such, but I thinkkkkk I need to put this up again ^^'

Blue Joins The Bad Sanses was a series I made years ago that I've been slowly, very sluggishly been updating for years now! It's arguably one of my most popular series that I was working on ^^

And I had a lot of fun working on it- still somewhat do.

It's just not my main focus at the moment

I still am working on it- I still am making some small efforts on continuing it! But I also got other projects I want to focus on at the moment

On top of that, I have a few other IRL obligations and circumstances that have not only impacted this project, but also all of my series/art in general!

So- TLDR: yes. I'm still working on it- but it's sort of on hiatus/at the back of my mind.

If anyone wants to take a similar idea and do stuff with it (for those which can't wait for my slow updates haha /nm), please do! I'd love to see what you create

I'm working on my BJTBS story (that's had a vague outline of the entire plot for YEARS now- it's just a matter of drawing and writing dialogue) at my own pace ^^

Thank you to all of you who have been super patient with me! It warms my heart to see this series touch the hearts of many, and for people to still have an interest in it after all these years!

As for the 'language', I'll put a read more here since I ramble a little:

Honestly, as embarrassing as it is to admit, I just crunched a couple letters together. I've mentioned before his language is a lot of clicking, hissing, growling; the less people can pronounce it the closer the vibe is to his language I intended, as well as sounding like clicks and growls.

Here's a rough translation of what I was going for:

ktchreikrichein - person of pleasant appeal (synonymous with cute, handsome, pretty, beautiful, etc; a compliment in visual appearance.)

greighkhen - person of inconvenience (synonymous with mischievous, dangerous, troublesome, annoying, etc; Mychael was calling you a troublemaker)

Inspired by the language structure in Toki Pona, the intent here is the last syllable sounds like 'khein' = person.

So adding 'ktch' = look/see + 'reikri' = pleasant/nice has the meaning "person that is nice to look at" or 'greigh' = trouble/problem has the meaning "person that causes problems."

At the end of the day it's just some silly fun with nonsense syllables.

i know this has been discussed ad nauseam, but i'm doing research for a meta, and i'm slowly realizing that i will never ever be over the Good Omens Lockdown dialogue. especially that line towards the end (begins at the 02:50 minute mark):

Crowley: [...] You know, I could hunker down at your place; slither over and watch you eat cake. I could bring a bottle—a case—of something...drinkable?

first, the unabashed expression of a desire to be near Aziraphale is so rarely evident (i mean, we have 1967 and other instances, but in the case of '67, an outsider could more easily—i guess??—interpret offering him a lift home as an expression of gratitude for the holy water). so, to witness his clear, unveiled desire for comfort and closeness (and to literally just watch Aziraphale eat cake) demonstrates the interpersonal progress made in the time after Armageddon't; he's not concealing the offer behind some flimsily-constructed reason (e.g., "I just didn't want to see you embarrass yourself"). in fact, he's implying that they'd be spending long lengths of time together ("hunker down", "a case of something drinkable"). and then Aziraphale's response is also really interesting, and kind of exists as a microcosm of their whole push-and-pull dynamic that has existed for literally thousands of years (begins at the 02:59 minute mark):

Aziraphale: No, I—I—I—I’m afraid that would be breaking all the rules! Out of the question! I’ll see you… when… this is over?

Quick question for the Touchstarved fandom!! As much as we love Ais calling us 'Sparrow,' I have to ask - if you had to decide, what other bird nickname do you think he would call you/your MC? :O

For example, Ais would my Unnamed MC Daniella 'bluebird,' while he'd call my Alchemist MC Edgar 'crow' (and another OC I'm planning, Shinju, 'woodpecker!')
