Light heads to meet L at the pick-up point for their date and is met with a surprise. Another more frustrating surprise was finding out that Sayu had followed him. She briefly meets “Hideki Ryuga,” and has her suspicions all but confirmed as far as she knows. With the delay over, they drive off to officially begin the date.

#drawn by me #my fanart #my fancomic #Death Note #The Chain #lawlight #Light Yagami #Sachiko Yagami #Sayu Yagami #L #yeah a vehicle and helmets are what held this installment up #and it's just a transition chapter lol sorry #objects and vehicles are the bane of my existence #the bike is based on the 2006 Suzuki Katana 750 #I looked up 2006 motorcycles and found that one; it looks similar to Wedy's so I decided to give L one too~#I almost had him borrow Wedy's but let him have his own instead #I've had an indulgent motor bike-riding L and him driving Light around for a long time~#I like to think that he can drive a lot of stuff except cars for whatever reason (boats; bikes; aircraft; but not a normal car)#of course bringing that vision to reality was a real challenge but there it is!#honestly he's probably more fitting on a moped but I let him be cooler here #the helmets are very very loosely based and combined on a couple of different helmets I saw #Sayu's meeting with him is brief; the scene was originally gonna include Sachiko instead but scrapped it #I may do that eventually anyways~.
