Encouragement from the Devil: The Spawn of Satan Edition🔥

Why hello there, lovely.~ Could I get some encouragement headcanons for the angry tulip? I'm debating with someone as to why Kid would at least be a manageable comrade despite his temper & that he'd be a good captain in his own way. Their main argument being he lacks self-control and that he's /too violent and cruel./ Killer was also thrown in, to say that he restrains Kid. But as is with my personality, I'm starting to lose face. ( T-T)

Warning: first of all, Kid is the bEST captain and the most loyal friend anyone could possibly dream about having and im going to prove it in this essay. Also, early wano arc spoilers ahead i guess + long ass post

🔥 “C’mon, are you a loser or what?! Give it a hundred and ten percent!” 

🔥 for this guy there’s no such thing as “too violent and cruel” - mainly because power and fighting are the two things sure to solve any argument or predicament; and at the end, it’s also quite clear for everyone who’s the victorious one  

🔥 from the simple fact that Kid’s ass is currently buried in the most powerful Yonkou’s cage with seastone cuffs on we can deduce he’s not a fan of changing sides easily - and he’s got a hell lot of pride that he’s not going to give up for the sake of smoothly avoiding imprisonment 

🔥 just think about that; Kid’s main goal, just like all the other Supernovas, is becoming the Pirate King - someone with most freedom on all the seas of the world; so if Kid was ready to give up one of the most important values for the sheer sake of not succumbing to the enemy, that surely tells us a whole lot about his backbone somehow certain individuals have a serious problem with wrapping their minds around that, whereas with Luffy it’s totally obvious haHA

🔥 therefore, it puts him in the front line of a Who’s The Best Captain Contest, along with Luffy; of course, all the other Supernovas probably made the best choice of choosing to work under the strongest Emperors, both for themselves and their crews 

🔥 since Kid didn’t really have such a strong push at the beginning of his murdering and pirating career as Luffy did, being the main character, he chose the most efficient and easiest way to climb up the ladder - raiding innocent villages, stabbing everyone and so on; which turned out pretty good for him, didn’t it? 

🔥 let’s not forget Law’s almost the same, with the exception he’s not so festive and open about it - wasn’t he the one who brought a hundred hearts to the Marines to become a Shichibukai and get the Navy off his back? Kid causes the same damages, only his way is more sparkly - crucifixion, burning, maniacal laughter and all that stuff 

🔥 the fact that Killer’s the one who restrains Kiddo is why the Kid Pirates haven’t been wiped off the surface of the Earth yet - with this clown’s bad temper, it’d have happened already - but similar dependence can be found, in my opinion, in Luffy’s actions as well; he picked a fight with a Yonkou he knew nothing about on the phone call; if it wasn’t for Nami, he wanted to fight Linlin on the spot at WCI-

🔥 -and yet, he’s considered one of the best captains and a loyal friend to his crewmates; because the lack of self-control in certain situations can be fatal, but in the others it can turn someone’s fate around, at least in the OP universe

🔥 also, Kid’s one of the best motivators there is, thanks to the fact that he willingly puts himself through so much shit everyday - and most of the time, he’s on his own, so he pretty much has to be there for himself 

🔥 he knows how failure feels, he knows how it is to hate everything and everyone, including himself, and he also knows how to keep fighting despite having no will or hope whatsoever - it all comes from experience 

🔥 just imagine how he must have felt when he got thrown into Kaido’s cell - with his allies betraying him and his crewmates gone ???, what was he supposed to hope for? Who was going to save him, come to his rescue? And yet he still carried out a moronic contest with Luff on every lovely activity in Kaido’s shit dungeon or whatever - isn’t that what true strength is? It’s not easy, but it definitely is easier for Luffy to get through all of this shit while having powerful, loyal friends he can count on all the time 

🔥 so, in conclusion, ain’t nobody gonna shit on the best lil clowny moron that is Eustsass Kid, thank u
