“You’re going to regret leaving me.” Vaelyn stared back at him, the shell of the man she once loved. For weeks, she agonized over her mistake. But now, free from her Father and the Absolute, she reached for those same feelings and found nothing.

Seven years.

It’s been seven years since the Fall of the Absolute, and her father, Bhaal. Vaelyn has done her best to put everything behind her and atone for the sins of her past. There is one that she had been ignoring though, back in the Gate. She was happy to ignore him for the rest of her life too.

That was before she was informed that Astarion had broken his promise.

This is a story about feeling like you can never quite make up for your mistakes, the importance of relationships, and cleaning up messes your dad left around Faerûn. (Bhaal doesn’t pay child support.)

Astarion never considered himself talented or gifted. He had a pretty face. Pretty hair. He knew how to take care of it too. That was all. For the first time in a while, he puts those skills to use for someone else.

Introducing my dark urges!

Rosenrot - Half-elf, Gloomstalker Assassin

She was my first durge when I still played on ps5, hence the low quality pic… >_< She’s a cutie, resisted her dark urges and romanced Gale. They lived happily ever after in Waterdeep.

Fun Fact: I made her a rogue because I needed a reason to not have Astarion in my party so I could romance someone else lmao. Then I discovered the magic that is gloomstalker assassin and I’ve never looked back. I respec Astarion as one in every run now hehehe

Undine - Tiefling, Storm Sorcerer

Hot and super duper evil! Her goal was to ruin everyone’s lives and that she did. She romanced Astarion and fuelled his ascension dreams, as well as Shadowheart’s and Lae’zel’s before betraying them all and destroying the world. Whoops!

Saoirse - High Elf, Lore Bard

I needed something light after the Undine run lol. The resist durge x spawn Astarion romance was so so lovely I love it dearly. Saoirse was precious and I loved role playing her!

Blight - High Elf, War Domain Cleric/Vengeance Paladin

She’s so beautiful and cool I’m obsessed with her. Blight was my duo honour girl! The duo was with Astarion of course and they dominated every fight. Just two love-birds against the world.

She let Astarion ascend, thinking it was what was best for him, but was saddened by the clear change in the dynamic between them. She refused Bhaal and destroyed the Absolute and lives eternally with her silly vampire lord husband!
