Nightstuck Poppet!!

(au belongs to @bunnyspine) I honestly adore the whole concept and vibe of this au, and I could not resist putting my funny jack-in-the-box-jester in some pjs and throwing them into a world of existential horrors!!!

I thought about Poppet and their box becoming like a little hiding spot for Wally, since Poppet would be difficult for Home to access unless the box is wound and opened! Though I suppose it's dangerous to be stationary when a Prowling Puppet is after you... Regardless, Wally seems so lonely, so if he can sneak past Sally, perhaps Poppet can keep him company!

this drawing is of them after their return to hermitcraft. after all the horrors. they kind of very quickly get rid of their old clothes, desperate to get away from anything that ties them to that horrible experience.

grian now sees a red sweater and is hit with so many flashbacks and complicated feelings. scar looks at his wardrobe of button-up shirts, clean and nice, and has this dissonant feeling that almost edges on dissociation.

they need to get away from anything drab, red, familiar; so instead, they reach for colours, and for pastels, and soft, comfort materials. and it's wonderful, because they can. because they have options, and the freedom, and they cling to it and they drink in the sight of each other in all these different clothes, letting it sink in over and over again that they made it, they survived and now they can live again.

also, fun little detail, because there were no respawns in the world where grian and scar were, and as a result all wounds had to slowly heal with nothing but makeshift bandages at their disposal, grian came out of it with scars. (they now match.)

It had been a long day at the asylum and all Alex wanted to do was watch a horror movie and go to bed. Clyde had decided to claim part of the couch and made half of it dip down considerably. The only thing on the television was the made for TV IT movie. It certainly wasn’t peak, but it would do even if Clyde did not look impressed.

“Do you really think this is scary?”

Alex shrugs, “I mean, not really? Some things I’ve seen, like you, or stuff at the asylum can’t quite compare, but y’know certain films have their moments.”

Clyde’s smile widens to almost comedic proportions. The veldigun slinks off the couch, raising itself to full height to tower over Alex and block the TV. “You find me scary?”

Alex gulps, but nothing shows on their face. With a nervous smile they say, “Well, now you’re just trying to be scary on purpose and that’s not scary. I know you wouldn’t do anything to me… At least, not yet.”

“Not yet?” Clyde asks as it settles back on the couch, looking mildly disappointed.

Alex deciding to look back at the film, says, “I mean, I’m kind of expecting you to murder me after we get your partner out of there. I’m useful to you right now, so you won’t kill me.”

Clyde smirks, which makes for an odd expression on the veldigun’s face. “I could kill you at any time.”

Alex chuckles mirthlessly, “I know… but you won’t right now.”

Clyde looks almost appreciative of Alex’s confidence before quickly returning to a normal expression. It reminds itself that it can’t be feeling stuff like this. It knows it’ll have to kill the human later, no matter if they have this weird connection.

~ Oh, So Typical Me ~

So. Me and one of my partners has been watching Ninjago. I showed them Proselytized, and we both enjoy it a totally healthy amount. <- lying.

And! I decided to make this artwork for our Spotify playlist for the AU :) had a lot of fun with this one, especially with some of the glowing effects.

Ooh let's get into the logistics of Twitch Chat AU and past hosts!

So in my mind (for this AU at least) Billy is in near constant communication with his patrons. They are the loudest and most consistently spamming the chat with their thoughts and 'advice'. Marvel and Billy more or less take turns in charge with the other joining the patrons as a commenter/back seat driver until they switch back.

So how do the past hosts fit into this?

I think that they are definitely a part of this, though they are mostly silent viewers UNLESS Billy/Marvel specifically want to talk to them or if they feel very strongly about being heard. When Black Adam first shows up, I imagine things got VERY chaotic as everyone rushed to comment on his presence. Billy was not prepared for the sheer number of new voices in his head that day.

Black Adam/Teth Adam is not part of the chat, but everyone in Billy/Marvel's head were once in his head so they have very strong opinions about him and there are several that are sad that they will only ever see him as one of their opponents. The above conversation definitely happened at some point and Billy in particular is not one to let it go.

That's my thoughts on it at least! Feel free to chime in with your own thoughts on it!

On a star wars prequels kick. AU where Sidious buys Shmi and tiny Anakin from Gardulla, like yes this the best back up apprentice plan ever.

Maul is obviously Not Happy, tries to pull some shit and Shmi is like. No.

Anyway Shmi secretly adopts a raging teenager and they plan to kill their slaver. Maul's not really in a place to accept a parental figure and Shmi only has the resources and energy for one son, so they end up with a somewhat sibling like relationship.

At some point, Shmi gets shunted out of the picture, and a furious Maul is left to cobble together a new plan on his own and he manages to escape with Anakin but not kill Sidious. Fuck, Shmi's not here and Maul has to take care of her kid on his own. Fuck. Oh well, he can't be worse than Sidious... Fuck it, he's going to be a best caretaker ever out of sheer spite. Anakin can be his apprentice now and it will be epic.

Anakin doesn't really want to be a Sith in particular but he's free! He can always say no later so he figures he might as well be Maul's apprentice until he finds his mom again. He likes Maul and maybe he can teach him how to fly because wow those were some crazy moves.

At some later point, an ex-padawan Obi-Wan stumbles upon two traumatised former Sith apprentices. One is a small child and terribly endearing, and the other is a passionate but still incredibly dubious caretaker okay? What's he going to do? Walk away and forget?

Maul hates him. Anakin adores him, maybe a little too much. Cue dysfunctional found family shenanigans.

Maul is determined to be a Sith without his master, Obi-Wan is there to say which Sith things are bloody fucking insane and not allowed in this house (ugly fucking smuggler ship that Anakin keeps tinkering with to have, are those flamethrowers in the walls?! Anakin.). Maul is there to stab at Obi-Wan's great wall of Disaster Lineage Repression™️ until it starts to crumble. They argue a lot and somehow both end up with healthier mental states and force connections. While arguing about how best to take care of a child they decide they need an third adult opinion and accidentally rope everyone into therapy.

They reunite with Shmi and wow, Anakin now has three parents! Wizard. Shmi, in her manic attempts to return to her son and ensure they are all free and remain so, has accidentally become a pirate queen... They can work with this.

So: a pirate queen freedom fighter, a rogue Sith, a rogue Jedi, and an Anakin. The galaxy isn't ready. Sidious is seething and frantically trying train a new apprentice.

(He gets Dooku, except Qui-Gon is alive and very much Dooku's achilles heel, and will later foil Sidious' plans for his master. Jango Fett is in way over his head, good thing this Tyrannus seems to have suddenly had a chance of heart.)

The Whills are intrigued. The Jedi are totally lost, what is happening? Quinlan Vos in particular is laughing. The Shadow Council is somewhere between amused and bemused that the surprise!Sith apprentice actually turned out pretty decent, and he's helping them with their shared goal of getting rid of his master. What an unexpected win. They'll take it, the rest of the Jedi cannot know of him until then.

LU College Theater AU Headcannons

(In celebration of me surviving tech/opening week of my show)

They all just so happen to live in the same apartment complex. (besides Twilight who lives with Time and Malon) This means countless sleepovers and people waking up to others sleeping on their floor on a random Wednesday.

Legend has been typecast as the villain multiple times and loves it. (let's be honest, the villain is usually the best character)

Vio gets put on makeup and hair duty constantly. The actors have started calling him "unofficial official stage mom"

Wolfie has been snuck into the college on multiple occasions. The boys call him their mascot. Time calls him a distraction. (Time loves that dog more than anyone (besides Wild and Twilight))

Even though there is a 50/50 chance he will freak out, Wild loves running the pyrotechnics. (on a good day at least)

The boys only catch about 85% of what Twilight says because of his accent. No one knows why it's so thick when Malon and Times aren't.

Warriors are super good at stage combat. He took some extra classes and now helps Time teach the others for their certifications.

Sky has horrible audition anxiety. His hands shake so badly he can't read the script in front of him and his throat closes up. Luckily, since he is mostly auditioning for Malon's shows, she already knows his talents and Sky is a lot more comfortable around her.

Wind has a tradition of wearing a different button-up shirt at every performance. The boys will make bets in the group chat before they get to the theater and whoever guesses which shirt he is wearing gets to pick where they eat afterward.

Spirit has done one singular show ever in his life. It was just because Wind was out sick and begged him to do it since the part was small. Spirit might have also owed Wind a favor.

The prop loft is haunted and all the boys have seen weird things in the theater.

They don't pick their nicknames. Time will give it to them after they do something dumb enough to be permanently remembered as a name. (I'll probably write out everyone's naming later)

Everyone was convinced that Hyrule lived in the theater for a few months…they were correct.

The others found out Four was actually quadruplets on Halloween. It was terrifying.
