♡ Epel would be drawn to you almost instantly! It's hard not to notice you with your eccentricity and penchant for making people laugh. He likes your carefreeness too! You seem super fun to be around! Your friendly side would balance him out well, as he can be quiet and reserved even if he's interested in being friends with you. Even if he's quick to leave afterwards (because the embarrassment is killing him), the memory of his attempts is enough to warm your heart.

As he spends more time with you, he'll find that the butterflies in his stomach fade away into a lulling calm, leaving only the desire to stay with you a little longer minus the anxiety. Ace - 6/10 | 10/10. I didn’t know how to draw him at first, but his icon ended up being one of my favorite icons. Fox boy.

Deuce - 2/10 | 9/10. After figuring out how to draw the icons while drawing Ace, Deuce was pretty easy to draw. Besides I already had a clear idea of how he’d look in my style.

Cater - 4/10 | 8/10. Drawing him was surprisingly fun. Unlike Ace or Deuce I had no idea how he’d look like in my style though.

Riddle Rosehearts - 3/10 | 5/10. At least I had fun drawing him.

Trey Clover - 5/10 | 6/10. He’s pretty tricky to draw? Maybe it’s because it feels like I can never know him enough. He gave me those Korean good Christian oppas(교회오빠) vibes so I tried my best to depict him as such.

Jack Howl - 1/10 | 9/10. Jack my boy. I really enjoyed drawing his fluffy hair and ears. I also added some headcanons and I think it turned out okay.

Mistletoe Headcanons

So all the boys except Siver and Sebek are in here. I wanted to post them last night but my power went out. Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy!

On one hand he would like to take the head of whoever put it up

On the other hand he has to follow the rules and the rules with mistletoe are that you have to kiss who you meet underneath the hanging kiss trap

The kiss is quick and somewhat off since he couldn’t see what he was doing

“Ahem, excuse me”

Your shocked as Riddle runs into the next room

Somewhat annoyed by the mistletoe

But only because he knows he’s gonna have to deal with Riddle later when the dorm head finds out

What he isn’t annoyed by is your cute, stunned face staring up at it

Taking his chance he moves in and pecks you gently on the lips

Your shocked gaze meets his and he smiles before moving around you

Wait. What just happened?

Cater Diamond: 

Don’t tell Riddle but he knew the mistletoe was going to be there

Tells you he wants to take a selfie with you in this doorway because it has ‘good lighting’

“Oh look mistletoe. You know what that means.”

Steals a kiss before you can even react

He pulls back with a wink

“If you wanna take another selfie here later let me know.”

Ace Trapolla:

Highkey he’s the one that put it there

Literally only thought that other people were gonna get caught 

Spends quite a bit of time lingering near the doorway and laughing into his cup when people realize what they walked into

It’s not until you’ve attempted to drag him to the other room through the doorway that he realize that he’s screwed

Cater sneakily points it out to you

You grab him excitedly and kiss him on the lips 

“Oh...ok. Thanks”

Walks away stunned and redder than Riddle’s hair

Deuce Spade:

Oh no

He forgot this was going to be here

The two of you have been standing in this doorway for about 3 minutes and you haven’t seemed to notice

Unfortunately he knows that he can’t walk away now that he’s been caught

Takes a deep breath and kisses you

Not understanding what happened you pull back shocked

“Oh my god I’m so sorry-” 

You see the mistletoe and kiss him again

Smiling shyly you pull back and walk away

“Wow I kissed someone”

Realizing that you’re staring at it curiously he sighs and puts his fingers on the bridge of his nose

Here goes nothing

He growls and grabs your chin, tilting it towards him

He kisses you harshly and growls again in distaste that he had to be coerced into this by a damn plant

Pulling away he only takes a second to admire your flushed face and dazed look before grunting “African mistletoe” and stalking away

Pointedly ignores any stares he gets and growls under his breath

Would deny it to his death but he enjoyed the brief kiss

Would also deny that he wants to do it again

Ruggie Bucchi:

Snickers at the face you make when you realize you guys are underneath a mistletoe hanging

Greatly appreciates the blush that decorates your cheeks

He honestly doesn’t care all that much about the mistletoe

It’s just a kiss

He leans forward and pecks you on the lips before pulling back and snickering again

Stunned you mumbled and walked away

He wished he had taken the chance to kiss you again

He’s pretty much in denial that mistletoe exists

Unconsciously strikes up a conversation about it to prolong the inevitable

He makes a noise of surprise but quickly contains himself to kiss you back gently

You pull away and continue to talk about christmas traditions as if nothing happened

No there isn’t a blush on his face (he’s just developed a fever that’s all)

This man probably conspired to put it there in the first place

Also meant to get you underneath it with him

He takes a moment to watch you shift uneasily as he eyes you like you’re prey

Taller then you so he leans down and places a hand underneath your chin

Kisses you slowly and teases you a but by nibbling on your lip

When you think he’s going to deepen it he pulls back with a smile

“Darling if you wanted to kiss me you should have just said so. No need to use traditions as an excuse.”

Yes that was his way of flustering you further while also slyly mentioning that he didn’t just kiss you because of the mistletoe

Floyd Leech:

Not a fan of the mistletoe game

He’s aware of it and makes a point not to get caught underneath it

He’s not a kisser 

He’s a hugger

If he ever did meet someone under the mistletoe he would pretend to be oblivious to the proper tradition and squeeze them instead

With you however he is very excited to be caught

Picks you up with a squeal and squeezes you tightly

His inner sadist loves how you squirm and gasp for breath

Also loves the redness of your face when you see the mistletoe

“Come here Shrimpy~ You owe me a squeeze~”

Thinking he wasn’t going to kiss you, you brace yourself for a squeeze

He does squeeze you but he kisses you too

Also bites your cheek lightly

Of course he has to chase Kalim through one of the doorways

You’re surprised and go to move when you see the mistletoe

Flushes a deep red and has to take a moment to collect himself

Calmly he leans closer to you 

Kisses passionately but also nervously

Beet red when he pulls back and hides his face with his hood for the rest of the night

Due to his hunter instincts and excellent observation skills he knows where every piece of mistletoe is hung

Likely guided you right underneath it without your knowledge

If you’re extra careful about them then he might just shoot another one up

“Did you put that there?” “Shhh, ma chérie."

Will kiss your cheeks, nose, and lips in that order

Calls you beautiful and asks you to spend some more time with him

Highkey Rook is the only one at NRC that knows what he’s doing with the ladies

Epel Felmier:

Epel has literally never kissed anyone in his life

There are rarely any people his age in his hometown either so he has little experience with dating or even dealing with anyone he’s interested

Finding himself under mistletoe with anyone would be terrifying nonetheless you

You’re cute and sweet and kind and a lot of things

But most importantly you’re someone who he wants to kiss

Which means that you and him can not kiss under any circumstances

But here you are and here he is under the mistletoe

And know you have to kiss

The kiss was short and barely existent but it was sweet and when he pulled back his face was equal parts red and pale

The kiss only lasts for a second because you were cut off by his hair turning red and flaming up

Poor Ortho has to spray the whole room with the fire extinguisher

Ortho is delighted at all the cool traditions and decorations that are strewn about the place

He spends Christmas with Idia of course but he finally managed to get him out of his room long enough to have a look around

There are some things that he doesn’t recognize like the dangling plant clippings that people are kissing under

When he finds himself under one with you he points to it and asks about it

You giggle and tell him before quickly kissing his cheek

The younger Shroud tells Idia afterwards and laughs at his older brother’s face

Idia is at least fond of your friendship with Ortho 

He thinks it’s fine that you told him about mistletoe as long as Ortho remembers to avoid it at all costs for the rest of his active life

Cue Lilia popping in with a thorough explanation about of how mistletoe works and pays special attention to the fact that Malleus has to kiss you

The vampiric man takes his leave and smirks knowingly when you glare daggers into his back

Malleus stays silent for a moment before leaning down and kissing you

He is a surprisingly good kisser and you are too shocked to do anything

“Well then, I hope that the tradition was to your liking child of man.”

Would never admit that he is blushing and walks away quickly

Oh Malleus the tradition was very much to your liking

What’s your MCs name?: Just Yuu, but I'm playing with calling him Yubo

Are they human?: Yes and no! Originally, he was a moth monster, similar to Grim. When transferring him to Twisted Wonderland, the Dark Mirror turned him into a human. The transformation wasn't absolutely perfect, but it's much more permanent than the potions the Octavinelle characters take to be human. I'd say he's human to a similar extent to Idia—biologically human, but a little weird :)

What do they look like?: Fluffy orange hair and a big ahoge! He keeps a big blue scarf over his mouth, and his hands covered with sleeves. He has light skin and brown eyes, and is very petite. When he grows up, he usually keeps his hair buzzed in the back and longer on top, and sometimes wears masks instead of his scarf to cover his mouth

When’s their birthday + zodiac sign?: Haven't thought of a specific one :0 He's my Yuusona, though, so going on my own birthday, he'd be a Leo :3

What’s their background?: His species is native to Twisted Wonderland and can live several decades off ambient magical energy, but he grew up in the countryside of the mundane world (I haven't decided yet quite how this happened—either he was transmigrated as an egg, his mother was & he had siblings on Earth, or something similar). As a caterpillar, he was able to eat mulberry leaves and become a moth, after which, having no mouth, he began to slowly starve. He did not realize this was happening, only that as he was exploring the world and making friends, he grew weaker and weaker. Just like canon Yuu, then, the Dark Mirror detected his presence and sent him to Twisted Wonderland, turning him into a human in the process and sparing him his fate.

Do they speak more than 1 language?: Not exactly! While he understands and can speak the language spoken on Sage's Island, he struggled to form the words at first and still feels uncomfortable doing so. Unless it's an emergency or he wants to surprise people who don't know he can talk, he speaks in a squeaky gibberish that different people can understand with varying degrees of ease, and a few can't understand at all

Are they a student?: Yes!

How are they as a student?: Surprisingly decent! He prefers classes that don't require a lot of communication/answering teachers for the obvious reason, but he doesn't mind reading, and he communicates with Grim quite well

What subject are they good at?: History out of the main three, but he's also decent at art, astrology, and animal linguistics <3

What part of the school do they like to hang out?: The courtyard! He loves the trees :)

What dorm do they belong to?: Ramshackle

Do they use magic?: Nope

Are they related to anyone at the school?: No, though I like to joke that he and Grim are like two pair-bonded pets

Who are they close friends with?: Grim, Malleus, Sebek, Rook, Epel ! Riddle Wants to be friends with him but doesn't know how to approach him; Ortho and Vil also become his friends at later points in his story

Do they have a special talents?: Not really lmao. He can eat a lot of food very fast lol

Any unique body features?: Very few changes from when he first arrived! I do draw him with sharp teeth sometimes though

What teacher are they close to?: I feel like Trein is probably the teacher he feels most comfortable around, just because he likes listening to people talk and reminisce~ (and also Trein is definitely the most likely to make accommodations for his general weirdness, oh my god)

How strong are they?: WEAK LMAO he's tiny and soft. I debated putting this in the appearance section but his limbs are all thin and squishy. He moves somewhat quickly most of the time just because of his insect nature, but slows down when he's wearing a lot of blankets

Are there any twst characters they don’t like?: Not terribly; if he doesn't like someone's presence, he'll just avoid them. However, he struggles seeing Ace's teasing for what it is, and initially felt a bit disconcerted by Cater's overfamiliar attitude, since the people of Earth usually reacted to him with wonderment or fear upon seeing a monster for the first time. He also has a somewhat tense relationship with Vil at first, but they become friends later on in life :)

Do they have a love interest?: I pair him with Rook just because he is my fave ToT<3 This applies to all Yuus, but there is a lot to figure out about my boy, which I think would interest Rook. Yuu isn't socially aware enough to interpret Rook's interest in him as creepy like the other students do, and appreciates the attention. (He also has big brown eyes like Neige, which I can't imagine doesn't help ^^; ) I think if Rook didn't exist, I would probably pair him with Sebek, since Sebek is one of the few who can understand Yuu's speech right away, and Malleus speaks kindly of Yuu which earns him Sebek's seal of approval hehehe

What type of clothes do they like to wear?: His scarf + anything big and floppy that will cover his hands! (He likes flapping around the ends of the sleeves when he gets excited) He also wears high heels because his steps are so light he sometimes startles people by sneaking up on them otherwise. When he gets older, he develops a preference for sweaters and autumn colors, and also an affinity for silk

Any fun facts about them?: By taking a potion, he can temporarily return to his moth form! Rook calls him Roi de la Soie after seeing this. Floyd calls him Seahorsie, and Vil calls him fingerling potato :)

I don't actually have a nice ref of his moth form yet; the last time I tried to make one didn't come out very well ToT His wings are the texture and softness of cloth, though, and while biologically speaking he *should* have a chitinous exoskeleton he's actually just fully soft and squishy... deeply huggable little creature...
