Today felt like a pretty normal Thursday to you. Getting up at seven in the morning, making sure Ella got ready for school, while Loki prepared breakfast - bless him - and of course actually dropping your daughter off at school. Since you had 'Ella duty' this week, your husband tended to little Narfi and got the very young man dressed, fed and ready for the day. Sometimes, it was pretty chaotic and quite hectic. Especially on the days you were working as well - not full-time, though. You were still in maternity leave, but Nick allowed you to work two or even three days a week, if you needed a change of scenery or just a break. Just like today. Sure, Loki had to return to being an Avenger as well, but you always made it work. Besides, the others were happy to jump in as a babysitter as well.

After dropping Ella off at school, you drove straight to the SHIELD headquarters for work, leaving Narfi with Loki, who'd leave your son with auntie Nat for the rest of the morning, because Steve hated it, when Loki missed out the important briefings which concerned his 'development' as a resident of planet earth. Or in other words: Making sure he still behaved, didn't relapse and was a 'hero' and not a threat to humanity. In your eyes, it was ridiculous that he still had to 'prove himself' after all those years... After getting married and starting a family... After everything he had done for the Avengers, America and the whole world. But well... Who were you to speak up and change things? It was how it was.

Seven hours of going through reports and sorting files, you clocked out of work. Yes, it wasn't much you were doing, but it was something. Better than just staying at home. You loved being a mom, but sometimes you needed to see something different - and you were more than happy to rejoin your friends in hopefully near future and slip back inside your Avenger combat suit.

Instead of driving to school to pick up Ella, you drove back home. Loki had already done that; taking his princess out for a daddy-daughter date to the indoor swimming pool.

Arrived at the Avengers compound, you didn't even bother to drop your stuff first; instead heading immediately for Natasha's. Your motherly instincts were literally screaming at you by now to go see your baby son. So, you did.

Your best friend opened the door to her apartment for you with a huge smile and little Narfi on her arms; dressed in his white sweatpants and matching jumper. He looked like a baby smurf - which was probably one of the cutest things you had ever seen and would get certainly never tired of seeing again. "Mama!" Narfi squeaked happily from behind his pacifier as soon as his beautiful ruby eyes registered you; impatiently squirming in his auntie's arms. "Hiii, baby boy!" You smiled brightly and immediately took him into your arms. His adorable giggle urged to your ears; causing you to smooch his little cheek with kisses, and once you had thoroughly greeted your son, you turned your attention to the Black Widow leaning now against the door frame still with that smile on her lips.

"Hey, Nat." You shuffled closer to hug her, what the Russian beauty instantly reciprocated. "Hey, babes." "Thank you for looking after this little guy here," you said; pulling back from the hug and gently bouncing Narfi on your arm. Natasha shook her head. "No need to thank me. I love playing the cool auntie part." "I'll keep that in mind," you winked, causing your fellow Avenger to giggle.

"Alright. We'll be going then. Gotta do some chores... See you around, Nat." "Sure thing, babes."

You looked down at Narfi, who had snuggled against you; head buried in your neck. "Say bye bye to auntie Nat, Narfi." "Bye bye," babbled the little boy in a sweet, quiet voice; clearly on the verge of dozing off. Natasha smiled and waved at Narfi, "Bye bye, маленький смурф." who instantly lifted a small hand to wave back. Smiling and bidding your goodbye to the Black Widow as well, you pressed a kiss against your son's forehead and ran a hand through his black locks.

Back in the apartment, you put the toddler down for a nap on his beloved floor cushion - which he mostly preferred for a nap, instead of his bed. Now that your son was sleeping peacefully across the living room, you had the time to do some chores. On today's programme: folding laundry. So, you spread out on the sofa, switched on the TV - but kept the volume down, of course, and got to work.

From your position, you had the perfect view on Narfi as well; having an eye on him from time time. Unfortunately, that didn't always keep him from escaping your watchful gaze. Just like Ella, was he his father's child... Sneaky and definitely a tiny mischief maker. Not quite as much as his big sister, but nevertheless...

You could swear that you only didn't look at him for five minutes - and suddenly was the floor pillow empty.

Shit.

"Narfi?" You called through the living room; letting your eyes wander and already moved to stand up. He wasn't in this room anymore. You sighed and shook your head with a small smile. "Little rascal..." You mumbled under your breath and crossed the living room; aiming for the hallway.

The good thing was, that Narfi couldn't get far; not having learned how to walk just yet. The emphasis was on the word 'yet'.

You rounded the corner into the hallway, "Narfi?" and found your son standing - hands free - beside the clothes basket, which he had clearly used to pull himself on his feet. At the sound of his mama's voice, the toddler turned his head - which caused him to immediately lose balance and land on his small bum.

Your eyes widened. Was he about to take his first steps and you 'interrupted' him? "Baby, were you about to take your first step?" Narfi was already pulling himself up again; using the clothes basket as a help like before. A sweet huff left his small lips once he made it on his small feet; causing you to stifle a giggle.

"Try again, baby smurf, come on." Narfi turned on slightly wobbly legs towards you; hand gripping the basket for dear life. "Mama!" You smiled and walked quite a few steps closer, before you squatted down and opened your arms. "Yes, c'mere! Come to mama!" You tried to encourage Narfi; a bright smile on your lips.

The smile got even wider, when your son suddenly let go of his support - and took a very wobbly, unsteady step towards you. With you mouth agape, you giggled. "Yes! You did it, baby! C'mon! One more?" Your happiness infected Narfi and he smiled a bright, toothy smile. Giggling, he made another two fast and wobbly steps, before he lost his balance and more or less stumbled into your arms. You reached out and caught him, before he could hit the floor; sweeping him up in a hug.

"Yay!" You cheered and peppered his cerulean, chubby cheeks with kisses. "Mama is sooo proud of you, Narfi." The little boy just cooed and gurgled happily.

An idea crossed your mind.

"Let's surprise daddy and your big sister when they come home, huh? They'll be so happy to see you walk." Your toddler's eyes widened at your suggestion. "Supise dada lala?" Narfi couldn't say Ella yet, so he settled on 'Lala' - it was the cutest thing ever. You giggled; nodding. "Yes, baby smurf. Come on."

The laundry was long forgotten; deciding to play with Narfi instead and helping him practising to walk.

After a very successful daddy-daughter date at the indoor swimming pool, Loki and Ella returned back home in the evening to the Avengers compound. The little girl's hand was neatly tucked into her father's bigger one as they exited the elevator. Ella was definitely tired and worn out - just like it should be after such a day. That was most probably the reason why Loki was carrying not just his duffle bag in his free hand, but also Ella's pink Disney princesses rucksack on his back.

Together, they stepped down the hallway and into your family's apartment. "Darling?" Loki called out; taking off his shoes and helping his tired daughter to get out of her jacket. "Mommy? We're back!"

The pair heard a small voice along some shuffling, before you rounded the corner into the entrance area with Narfi walking in front of you; yet gripping tightly onto your pointer fingers. "Hey, you two," you greeted them happily. "The baby smurf and I have to show you something." Proudly, you let go of your son's small hands - and let him walk a few small, still wobbly step. Before he could topple over, you grabbed him quickly around his middle; holding him steady.

Both, Loki's and Ella's jaws were on the floor; not having anticipated this. Sure, Narfi had tried to walk now for days - probably weeks, but it looked like he needed some more time to learn... Apparently not.

"He is walking now!" A not-so tired anymore Ella squeaked and crawled forwards and clumsily, but lovingly hugged her little brother - who didn't quite understand why everyone was making such a big fuss. He just squeaked along happily.

Loki met your gaze; his beautiful blues shining with a few tears. "Darling, he... Our son is walking..." He whispered; visibly touched, but you heard him anyways. Ella was already helping Narfi back on his little feet; his hands in hers tightly as she helped him walk down the hallway. It gave you the opportunity to step over to your husband. With a smile, you slung your arms around his middle; invading his space. "I know, babe, I know." Loki laughed softly and tried to blink back the tears as he wrapped you up in a hug; strong arms keeping you locked against his tall, defined body.

"We have to watch out now, babe. Soon, he'll start to run," you stated with a giggle, causing Loki to shake his head. "By the Norns, please not. He's already growing up too fast..." You sighed; knew exactly how he felt - and he was right. You rested your head against his chest, giving your husband the opportunity to press a kiss on top of your head. "Mhm... Growing up too fast, just like Ella." You felt the god's chest vibrate with a hum. "Just like Ella..."

Another question about Kenta because lately he’s been bouncing around him my head like it a trampoline park. Seriously dude, ily, but stop. It’s giving me a headache 😭:

Were his parents horrible to him? Did he have any family issues or low self esteem issues, because he seems like the type of person to hide how he’s feeling very well or bully others to help mask how sad/angry he is. Like, bullying Kinshin because of his and Yuina’s bond, or Irina because of her and Kinshin’s bond.

And follow up question:

Does he end up talking to anyone? How is he after the final battle? Did he live, and become a better person with the help of others, or did he die the villain?

And very random:

I like seeing Kenta as neither evil nor good. To me, he’s the lil misguided prick who bully’s others because something really bad happened in his home/ family life. He’s like…. The Loki to your OC’s to me. But a bit eviler, and isn’t used to clean up the messes the others make because they’re lazy.

✨️STORY TIME✨️

KENTA'S PAST💚

Kenta has always been a difficult person to deal with, and when he was younger it was no different.

He made a lot of messes and he didn't obey his parents...

So what did they do to Kenta? They abandoned him at the orphanage...

Well, it was hard for him to get used to living like that, but Kenta grew up and learned to deal with his new reality.

He loved watching the children arrive there, just to see how sad they were (that made him feel better).

He would always play pranks on the new children, so Kishin soon became the target.

Kenta broke into Kishin's room while Kishin was getting to know the orphanage.

In that moment, Kenta found a letter, which was inside a box that Kishin brought when he arrived.

Kenta was devastated when he saw that the letter was from Kishin's mom and in the letter she said how much she loved Kishin, that she felt so bad for leaving him, but all of this was to save him and keep him safe. Kenta couldn't stand to see that Kishin's mom loved him, while his own mom hated him and simply abandoned him.

After that, Kenta's hatred for Kishin increased and so Kenta tormented Kishin every day, he wanted to make Kishin feel horrible, he did everything to make Kishin believe that he was abandoned because his family hated him and that Kishin would never be loved.

For a while Kenta felt better when he saw Kishin slowly giving up and going into a deep depression, but then Irina appeared. Everything changed again, Irina had everything Kenta had ever wanted, he felt so jealous and seeing that Irina was by Kishin's side, helping him and being someone who truly cared about him, made Kenta even worse.

All Kenta feels to this day is hatred and envy.

Even now that he's older, Kenta sometimes thinks about all this. For him, Irina and Kishin are the villains of this story.

And well, about the ending, I won't give any spoilers mwahahahaha (*｀▽´*)

Additional information:

- Since Kishin was completely disoriented when he arrived, he hadn't even seen the letter his mom left for him. He never knew about the existence of this letter, and if he had, he wouldn't know how to read it either🥺💔

- I drew them a little older to better fit the comic's drawing style, but I still have to decide their exact ages at this point to get the chronological order correct.

I think they made it to Jackson and are fucking all the time in their shared home that they are the reason Ellie had to move to the garage because she had walked in on them too many times 🙃

this is such a lovely surprise question, thank you 🥺💖 i don't get asked about one thing i'm missing very much (understandably cause it's my first joel fic and i finished it relatively quickly) so whenever someone does ask about it i get so excited!!! cause i love them!!!!

in my mind, our little trio made it to the fireflies and things went down relatively the same as in canon, except this time reader was present. i think joel began his rampage in search of both ellie AND reader, the latter of which he met up with after he'd already killed multiple people. i think in that moment she realized there was no other option and helped him take out the remaining fireflies and rescue ellie.

however - i think reader was honest with ellie. joel wanted to lie and reader could not and would not let him do that. she told ellie exactly what happened and in turn ellie stopped speaking to both of them the second they got to jackson. so still not an ideal scenario but at least joel and reader had each other to lean on. i think ellie would've forgiven them a lot sooner and a lot easier than in canon, mainly because of reader's persistence & ability to communicate properly with ellie (yes that's a dig at joel lmao). but the time in between of joel feeling like he'd lost another daughter and reader feeling like she'd lost another sister was extremely hard.

these things were actually meant to happen in a 6th chapter but every time i went to write it, it just felt like i was turning a sweet little story into something much more serious and dark than i'd intended. even writing an epilogue felt like it was saddening the story and i didn't like that because i like the story being on the lighter and fluffier side. but getting to the fireflies was always the goal and it was inevitable that ellie would be taken from them and they'd have to fight back and then live with what they'd done, and live with ellie's feelings about it.

but on a MUCH happier note - they're for sure fucking all the time. they're each others rock and most nights after they got to jackson and had their own place were spent exploring each other and discovering what they both liked. lots and lots of late nights and lazy mornings and falling deeper and deeper in love with each other. i think once ellie came around and was able to understand and accept what happened, she tried to live in the house briefly and then decided pretty quickly that it was not what she wanted lmao. but she likes her independence anyway.

OH - and joel does not die. yes they killed the fireflies but in my brain, the events that happen in the second game (and most likely in season 2) happen much differently in that joel was simply not on patrol the night abby and her group came across them. he was at home with reader, safe 💖

They might have been each other's low-key favorite since the very beginning. And putting them together is so freaking good, both for the characters individually, and for what it represents on a larger scale. My all-time OTP. 💖💖💖

Other ships I like are TaiBani (they're married, your honor), GoldenRose (they'd need to grow as people for this and it would be so good for them), KidCat (adorable baby lesbians who are low-key total weirdos together? Sign me up), and whatever the Agnes/Antonio ship name is (he'd help her chill out and she'd give him the love he deserves... if in her own Agnes way 😅).

11. Any characters you think could have been good friends if they had been given a chance

The first pair that comes to mind is Nathan and Agnes. I love that Nathan hangs out with the younger girls, but can you imagine the sheer power of Agnes and Nathan out and about on the town?

The second thing I immediately want to do is give poor Yuri a friend 😭 And honestly there are several decent candidates, it's just that Yuri himself would not give them a chance. Barnaby seems like an obvious choice, but I can't stop thinking about that amazing scene in The Rising where Kotetsu tells Yuri that he does not understand Barnaby at all, if he thinks Barnaby is now happy since Maverick is dead. Still, they could have had some much-needed conversations and a decent relationship.

18. Favourite (smaller) detail about one of the characters

Ooohhh, just one? 🥺 Nathan, then, of course! 💖

If we're talking about design, I love the shape of her eyes, and the tiny blue details on their Fire Emblem suit (along with all the color gradients, I'm a total sucker for gradients).

If we're talking more in general, all the complex up and downs of her self-confidence. They're mostly directly visible in the glimpses we get of her past, of course, but knowing they're there gives her current bold strength so many layers, so much depth. That one moment when she tells Keith she was actually still so unsure when she first became a hero... Oh, it means so much to me. 🩷 (Especially since Barnaby's suit data in The Beginning says they had a "spectacular debut"; just how much effort did that take? 🥺)

(oml okay so I know you answered my Great Ace Attorney ask like. three weeks ago at this point, but I'm finally getting around to writing a response. I hope you remember what you talked about or can find that ask again alskdfgjfkd I'm so sorry-) First of all, OLIVE IS SUCH A GREAT FAVORITE CHARACTER YOU HAVE IMMACULATE TASTE!!! I felt SO bad for her oh my god, the moment where she tried to poison herself... holy shit it hit. it hit so hard, it's probably one of the darkest and most depressing moments in the game (and lord knows there's so much heavy shit in this game). 💔 TGAA does a lot of subversions from the main AA series, but I loved how she was an (attempted) culprit but also her "victim" was a culprit as well... it's utterly fascinating, I loved what they did with her character and 2-2 in general. She's one of the most realistic and grounded and subtle characters in the game imo, like she feels so normal: she's depressed, and she's bitter, and hateful, but not too hateful, and still sweet despite all of that... I loved her a lot, I want to give her a hug 😭🥹💔 the scene where she thanks Ryuu for helping her get closure was so touching, it made me cry. 💚 I was also really fascinated by her relationship with Shamspeare, or at least his reaction to her, considering that he didn't have any idea of her existence until the trial (I love him too, he's SUCH an interesting character)?? Idk I just think there's so much potential for their interactions post-series, though to be fair I say that about so many characters in this game alsdfjgkfld there's just so much juicy potential for character dynamics... Susato and Yuujin are DEARS, I love them so much 😭🥹💖 It makes me really sad we don't get practically any Susato & Kazuma & Yuujin family content.... I'm forever mad that their (+ Ryuu's) grief over his assumed death is so glossed over, I really feel like Kazuma desperately needed more screentime in the second game where he was allowed to just... be more vulnerable around them and get some sort of emotional catharsis, instead of just being his emo self the whole time :' ) 🫠 it's not bad by any means, I just think he needed so much more. Cause YEAH, his breakdown fucked me up too, it's my favorite scene of his cause it's really the only scene where we get a true taste of how much pain he's bottling up inside UGH. We needed more Mikotoba family scenessssss (seriously, Yuujin doesn't even react at all to hearing that he's alive again and it pisses me off!!! Like that's his adopted son of his dead best friend!!!)

Barok is wonderful, by far my favorite of the main characters and imo has the best written arc of them. He needs a damn HUG and we were robbed of seeing him smile at the end 😭💔 he makes my heart ache godddddd. Van Zieks brothers make me weep. Barok and Iris make me weep *sobs*

As for Graydon...... ahaha how do I even describe it. To be honest my thoughts on him could fill an entire essay; I'm actually responsible for a lot of posts and content about him on tumblr prior to the release of the localization a;lsdfjgkfdls (though under his Japanese name, Rupert Chrogray, which I prefer because I'm a snob lol), he occupied my brain for at least a year after I played the first game, and I still love him to death. He's just a really, really beautiful and complex character to me despite only being in one case... his story is so incredibly tragic, but realistic, and relatable, and so sympathetic to me, not to excuse his actions but he really does break my heart so, so much. I love the hints of characterization we get with him and his father, with him and the brothers, and I also ADORE thinking about his potential relationship with Gina, because they're foils to each other. I think he has SO MUCH POTENTIAL for a redemption arc after the first game, because imo he really is not a bad person deep down, and could change for the better if he's just given the chance to. I just love him sooooo much, I've written a few fics about him lol and I've delved into the Japanese fan content for him because I just need so much more alsdjfgkfld, he's such a beautiful character to me; he's so human, and flawed, and contradictory, but contradictory in a way that makes so much sense and is so well executed. Honestly he could have his own game/media all on his own imo, that's how powerfully well-written he is in such a short amount of time.

I totally agree that one of the things that makes Chronicles so fun is the way you only get a little of most of the trial-only characters, and yet there's so much there as a foundation to play around with! Olive is a great example of that! I love that you wrote about Nikomina and Graydon! I checked out the Nikomina one but still need to go through your Chrogray stories; I'm sure they're just as good a read :)

I really love it when people enjoy the minor or one-off characters. Nikomina really should get to know that Kazuma lived... that'd be a world of guilt off her shoulders, poor girl. It was an accident... I stick to my headcanon that Sholmes told her at some point.

I do agree that the second game kind of was a whirlwind. I imagined a lot of stuff was happening off-screen that we didn't see, especially with regards to the lingering grief concerning Kazuma. I do kind of wish we'd gotten a little less mystery over Yuujin and a little more just getting to be around the man and getting to know him. His story was just really impactful to me. I adore him so much.

I also have some mixed feelings regarding leaving Kazuma somewhat alone in London without his friends at the end of the game... while I don't really see how else it could've ended (it's more realistic; they can't stay in London forever; Kazuma was the one actually supposed to be on exchange), I can't help but feel concerned over him having very little support after a major breakdown/situation that exposed nearly all of his trauma, and still pretty much on that single-minded drive, just in a different, slightly healthier direction (so he can find himself/challenge Naruhodou). I'll be honest, it's now been awhile since I've played the game and I played it late at night so I don't actually recall the ending in detail - it's possible there's something I forgot about here that changes the context a little. I mean, at least we know Sholmes and Iris are going to look out for him...

Also I am a firm believer in post-canon Kazuma and Van Zieks worsties. They can't forgive each other, they begrudgingly understand each other, they can trust the other with pursuing justice, they are petty little shits to each other...

I also like the idea of Sholmes looking out for Kazuma in his own annoying way, and just coming across as... annoying, lol, while Iris keeps finding reasons to "mysteriously" cross paths with Van Zieks, so he cannot shake this weird, genius little pink child. The doors to the prosecutor's office open and the both of them just go "oh no", and then glare at each other because how dare they have the same thought at the same time ahjsbfvsjdfh

Anyways. They're funny to me. Part of me is happy where the story leaves off, and part of me wants a Kazuma Asougi Investigations game, with Van Zieks, Gina, Sholmes, and Iris. (...I actually came up with a rough outline for that very concept... it's a bit self-indulgent though and I have enough projects started... maybe I'll get to it someday... it's actually more like parallel Kazuma-Susato investigations lol)

Honestly there would be less issues all around when it comes to what could or would happen with Gamora in some hypothetical future if Gunn had taken the time to create more focus on her in the writing for vol 3. I like Gunn and I have loved gotg, but I can't defend him or the movie when it comes to many things about Gamora's role. There's less investment in her character than compared to vol 1 and 2 or even IW. One conversation between Gamora and Nebula could have provided information about what communication between them has been like and how it's been going for them. Change Mantis from saying Gamora isn't dead to her expressing grief or sympathy and it would have addeded depth to the loss of Gamora. Very little effort was needed to make this stronger and it didn't happen.

Also Gamora didn't need to be a ravager or kept away from the guardians for an extended period of time to be her own person. There was a wonderful chance to have the guardians show her the love and support she's given them as they figured out a new dynamic. But she was denied that and these decisions weren't made to benefit her. They were made to keep focus on Rocket and on a letting go of the past arc for Peter. This isn't okay because as Peter himself said, Gamora formed the guardians. This was her story too.

And if it makes you feel better about losing followers I'll always keep following you. I'm grateful you're willing to talk about hard things because honestly way too many people already ignore Gamora and characters like her. If Gamora was a popular white dude character the entire fandom would be mad at how she's been treated.

Yuri Dreyar Headcanons

��-- General

Yuri has always been an amazing storyteller. He's so incredibly passionate and exuberant when he talks that he has a real gift for drawing the listener into the story he is telling. When Makarov was very little, Yuri used to tuck him into bed every night and tell him fantastical tales of his adventures in Fairy Tail and as a treasure hunter. The stories were so gripping and compelling, but Yuri had a tendency to often leave off on cliffhangers that left his son on the edge of his seat and actually excited for bedtime the following evening just so he could find out what happened next.

Tiny Makarov was so captivated his dad's stories that he would often beg Yuri to play "Fairy Tail" with him, and Yuri would always oblige--playing with his son for hours pretending that they were in the guild together and going on grand adventures. To this day, it's one of the things that Makarov remembers most about his father, and Yuri's stories really inspired him to want to become guild master one day so he could actually live their adventure games.

🧡-- Childhood/Backstory

Yuri grew up in a merchant family who briefly sent him to an all-boys boarding school to get an education after it became clear that he was quick-witted and intellectually gifted. His teachers had no idea what to do with him, however, since he had such a scatterbrain and could never sit still. Even more perplexing was the fact that he continually earned top marks in his classes, mostly through merits of his own natural intelligence since he spent most of his time goofing around rather than studying.

He was eventually expelled for trapping a goat on the roof in the middle of the night dressed in the headmaster's pyjamas and night cap and that was when he decided he wanted to become a treasure hunter.

💘-- Romance

Yuri Dreyar has two "Love" modes: (1) dismissive tsun who acts like he couldn't care less about his beloved (even though he is (often obviously) desperately in love) and (2) grandiose romantic who will shower his beloved with the biggest, flashiest romantic gestures known to man. [A/N: The in between is total simp who will blatantly refuse to ask his beloved out on a date but will buy crates and crates full of fruit in a grand but ridiculous love expression and a desperate plea for attention (which I wrote about in my Yuri/Rita fic here actually)].

Some bonus headcanons about Yuri/Rita specifically:

Bonus: Yuri naturally expresses his love through gift giving and impulse buying. When he is wooing Rita, Precht and Warrod have to ban him from shopping and cut him off from guild funds for a while because whenever he is out at the shops or market, he will always come back with some shiny new trinket for her (often jewelry, sometimes flowers and chocolates, but also a lot of inexplicable and random things). His reasoning is usually, "It's pretty and Rita is pretty." His friends insist that even if that is the case, she does not need every "pretty" item in existence. Yuri begs to differ and has basically no impulse control so Rita gets lots and lots of presents.

She soon recognizes that these are expressions of Yuri's love for her and truly appreciates them, even the random ones...except for the time he brought an acorn home for her from a walk while she was pregnant with Makarov because it "reminded him of her." (A/N: He can be such a dolt sometimes, but his heart is in the right place).

Bonus 2 (because I poked a lot of fun at Yuri & wanted to write an actually serious one): During the Second Caravan Trade War, Yuri and Rita exchanged letters. Yuri soon realized that he could tell Rita things in his letters that he could never tell anyone else: about his feelings, the war, and himself. This realization was soon followed by another one: he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

23) Is your OC reliable? Can I call them up at two in the morning if I have a flat tire?

Cirwedh is very reliable, often to the point of neglecting her own needs. If she's called on to help, she will be there. Period. At first, it's hard for her to be reliable because she spent everything but the first seven years of her childhood growing up in the wilds of Valenwood with nobody but herself to depend on besides Mother Bear, and at that point the only ones relying on her were the animals and the Green. After she failed to prevent her family's collective death she develops a bit of a complex about it. If she can put off her own issues and instead be there for someone who needs her help she will be, even if it's waking up at 2am to help fix a wheel.

9) How does your OC handle their physical health? Do they take care of themselves?

This one is tricky. While shes not unhygienic per se, she isn't the absolute best at keeping clean. She simply doesn't have time to worry about it like most would I guess? She takes care of her body, she's very adamant on giving it what it needs to function (i.e food and water. she loves eating because it fuels her body also she just likes eating) if she's not on some quest or actively fighting a war she bathes fairly regularly, like every other day or so. But she also believes in a healthy layer of dirt on the skin and walks around barefoot so the bottoms of her feet are almost always very dirty. She's very much a wild thing at heart, so she could look and smell like a dirty animal but as long as she's alive she is fine with that LOL. When most of your life is a fight you stop worrying about being clean for other people. She doesn't get sick, since Bosmer already have a natural resistance to disease, and her lycanthropy pumps that resistance up to 100, but she still takes precautions anyway. Overall she's fairly good about her own physical health, mental however is another thing LOL.

30) My OC and your OC are friends. This isn't a question. I'm not asking. (How do they respond?)

Cirwedh has very few real friends. Most she calls friend in the sense of like, she's helped them somehow or they are just a nice person to her, it's like saying "sir" or "ma'am". So she's pretty awkward about making friends, given her outwardly intense (and sometimes unapproachable) appearance, and when making new friends she doesn't really know how to show her appreciation for their company in normal ways, so Alex could expect a lot of small gifts left around randomly, and food. She is a really soft person deep down underneath all that she's had to become throughout her journey, and it really shows when she's with someone she trusts and loves. She'd also probably want to show Alex around the wilds and if he'd be down, telling him about her people and flexing her Spinner muscles with a good ole story. She still has a good memory when it comes to all the histories she learned as a child and loves to share them with people who are genuinely interested. She even learned how to put people in the stories similar to Spinner Maruin! She could also sit and listen for hours about Alex's life so she can memorize that too. Deep down she is still a spinner at heart, and wants to know her friends stories so she can tell them too. I think overall she would very much like to be friends with Alex 💚

6. Top three favourite episodes of season 1 (and why if you want)

Oooh. One of them is definitely episode 17. I love the slow, quiet look into Kotetsu and his life choices, and the scene where he rescues Kaede is just super cool and super sweet and super beautiful. 💚

Then there's episode 15, which has a cool battle, sneakily introduces the "dragon" to the final villain of the season while seeming like a one-off episode, and most of all, obviously, shows us all the softer (in every sense of the world) sides of Keith. 🥺

And then I'm going to cheat a little here and say episodes 6&7 together, since they're kiiind of a two-parter. They're the closest thing we have in S1 to a Nathan spotlight episode, sure, but they are also the ones where things get real, introducing Lunatic and most of all revealing Barnaby's full backstory and trauma. And the scene in episode 7 where Bunny chases Lunatic across the bridge to Stern Medaille has some of the coolest visuals of the entire season, and I love it to pieces. 💓

Oh gosh. I've already gushed about Nathan in the "top 3 characters" question here, but fear not, I will never run out of reasons to love her, so here's a few more.

Nathan may initially look like a superficial, brash character, with a temper to boot, but is actually very sensitive and extremely kind, with a sweet side that's a mile wide.

Nathan is a very successful person, especially as a business owner, so you'd think they'd be driven by ambition, but when asked what their dreams for the future are, she answers that yes, she'd like to increase company profits... to help disadvantaged children even more, and that she wants to make a family with a lover. 🥺

Nathan helped me fully embrace my love of the color pink, which I used to hate as a kid, because I despised everything that was too typically "girly" (we'll psychoanalyse me another day). Now pink things give me complete joy, to the point that I have my hair dyed the same color as hers.

And speaking of the color pink... the whole thing with the rose petals in The Rising. Just... every single thing about it, its meaning, the way it was handled, the utter beauty of that scene and everything it says about her.

I'll think about it forever. 🩷
