The thing I love and appreciate so much about Kanej is that they are an example of the deeper more nuanced aspects of a relationship that is so often overlooked in modern media.
It's Kaz loving Inej's laugh, it's Inej paying such close attention to Kaz that she can tell when he passed out just from the change in his breathing, it's Kaz emptying his life savings to buy Inej her freedom, it's Inej about to kill all the Dregs just to save Kaz, it's Kaz buying Inej a ship so she can have her dream of hunting slavers even though that means they'll be separated, it's Inej accepting who Kaz is and acknowledging that even if she didn't always agree with his methods that the Barrel needs him just as he is.
It's how well they know each other, that their relationship is based on friendship and mutual understanding, it's the little things like Kaz seeing Inej and feeling like a little boy who believes in magic again.
It's so much more than the typical modern portrayal of love that requires touching or sex to telegraph what two people feel about each other. They never need to hug or kiss or hold hands for us the readers to know how they feel because Leigh put the effort into portraying the beauty and depth of real love that modern media so often doesn't bother to attempt.
Regardless even of the fact that I, and many other aroacespec people, feel represented by Kaz, Inej, and their relationship, their relation and interactions with each other shows the aspects of love and friendship that is so rare in modern medias. And especially for younger generations growing up with TV and books, seeing love portrayed as sex or physical attraction can be very misleading and leave them confused when those things don't give the satisfaction in real life that it is given in media. But Kanej is the balance of that, they are real love, portrayed in the ways that show what real love is.
Young boys and girls and non binaries and every other gender or type of person can read these books or watch the show and see what real love is. They can see they don't have to sell their bodies or give up their boundaries to satisfy another person and that none of that would guarantee being loved, that love is so much more than just physical attraction, that being known and valued for who you are as a person in the current moment is the most important thing.
I want to make this another TedTalk about why I take issue with Kanej being portrayed in fanfics and fanarts as touchy or needing that to show they've healed or that their relationship is valid, but I'll keep this one focused on the positives so I don't get all the aphobes and haters clogging up my notifs ◉‿◉

Hello. it’s me again! How are you? Sorry it took me ages to write another massage but you know, I was crying (again) a few hours after I send my massage for I fear I have hurt your feelings or upsetting you somehow (Hey, I also have high paranoia) so I’m really glad it wasn’t the case. :)
I love LOVE the Furina you have created. The Furina that subconsciously forgetting her past because it was too hurt to remember. The Furina that cares so much about people who ended up hurting her. The Furina that so beautiful with her white eyelashes and started to loving it and herself . The Furina that still didn’t know there’s people who love her and care for her. The Furina that doesn’t want to be a burden to other people even when she’s dying. The Furina that so strong she finds a new purpose and goes out of her way to finding herself. The Furina that perfectly human and very dear to me (to you as well, it seems). Ahh I would missed her so much. 🥹
Regarding your two reasons, I knew one of it is because your mental health, a quick look at your account proved that and because I’m struggling with mental health issues too, I understand. If writing Furina in her lowest point effecting you negatively then it was a wise decision to take a break from continuing the story or distancing yourself from it. Your mental health and happiness matter more. but I just can’t stand by and watch the author of my favorite story belittling her own work in her profile like that, that’s why I came here – to give you piece of my mind.
And to your second reason, no, you’re not pathetic for hating hoyo. I’m a twitter girl (I rarely ever used tumblr anymore, actually) but I also hate hoyo as a company (like, screw you hoyo!). I know hoyo has been a HUGE disappointment after disappointment lately, especially with the whitewash of Natlan characters. but trust me when I said that most of twitter people also doesn’t like them, and have been very vocal about it (at least that’s what I always seen in my timeline). Though, in gi twitter fandom – from what I’ve noticed – is that most of them is aware that hoyo’s a shitty company but they also acknowledge, and bitterly accepting the fact that they complains wouldn’t be heard and the company would never change. Only the CN fandom can. And they have a mindset that it’s okay to enjoy something while also criticizing them, in hope that the company would her you and changes. It doesn’t make you a hypocrite, I promise.
Me myself haven’t played the game for few months now because the story got so boring after 4.2 AQ and because Hoyo. But I never once thought that me making nvfr fanarts was me supporting Hoyo as company. That’s a very interesting way to think about fan works honestly. I’m making nvfr fanarts simply because I love them. be it as their own characters and together as a ship. In return, they improved me, like a lot. My love for them motivated me to draw them more and improved my drawing skills. They prompted me to share my works with the fandom, which I still feel very insecure about every time I posted my arts. and they introduced me to a lot of kind people in the community– I even finally make some mutuals there ehe. In the end though, I draw them for myself. not for hoyo, not for the community, just for me, because I love them.
It’s funny, because everything that you said that makes you frustrated of mihoyo is what make your story special. your hard works to make sure everything was represented right and the details you put through in your story, that hoyo didn’t bother with, was obvious and very much amazing. Not only hoyo as a company, but I rarely ever find a story that goes into details about language differences, foods, clothes, heck even skin care! You’re the only one who bother to put skin care in your fic (at least from all nvfr fanfics I have ever read). And trust me, all your hard work was very much appreciated by me and everyone who read your story.
As much as I want to know more about tphh, I also want to move on from them. Seeing them in my bookmarks still hurt you know. It’s not helping that you didn’t change the moderate your comments options before you orphaned the story. Now every new comment wouldn’t reach anyone and goes straight to the archive. In fact, I left a comment there before I came here because I knew my massage won’t reach you. And I’m sure I’m not the only one who left comment for I know there are still many people who love tphh, even bookmarked them, despite knowing the story would forever unfinished.
You already spoiled tphh a lot if you asked me and I’m afraid my curiosity and enthusiasm wouldn’t be sated if I was to ask more spoiler from you, hence I couldn’t move on. But there is one thing that still gnawing at my brain, like how do you planning Neuvillette finds out Furina is gone? because your story was so different from others runaway or lost Furina’s stories that I can’t imagine how your Neuvillette gonna know. And if Clorinde’s reaction already makes me cry a river, I can only imagine Neuvillette’s would be a heart-wrenching one, if not more. As for future chapters, just knowing Furina would heals and find so much love is enough for me. 🤍
Lastly, I wished, like how Furina’s story goes in your mind, that your stories, too, would go to the same direction. That you wouldn’t feel insecure when you uploaded your works to the fandom and that you would heal and be better. 🤍
P.s. I’m too shy and awkward when it comes to direct conversation (heck I need days to write this massage only and because English isn’t my first language either) so I would left this massage in your ask box, if you don’t mind! Also, sorry for the wall of messy text.
P.s. 2: I always thought your username was spelled 27-the-the-real-moon and it turns out it is spelled 27th-ethereal-moon. What a beautiful username 🥺
Hi!! I'm so happy to hear from you again! I'm doing alright atm. How are you?
Don't worry, your message definitely didn't hurt my feelings. I was actually really happy to hear from someone after I orphaned TPHH. I honestly kind of assumed people would just... not really care much? So the fact that you cared enough to find my tumblr and message me really touched me, as did your words.
I really love the way you described TPHH Furina. It's honestly kind of crazy to me how much of the character I wanted to build is already in the fic because it feels a bit like I cut the story off right at the start before anything could really happen, but your words made me realise that a lot of who she is and who she would develop into is already there. I'm honestly kind of proud of myself for that, which is a very weird feeling because I usually don't feel like this.
I can't lie that "a quick look at your account proved that" made me laugh for five whole minutes. What gave it away? 💀 I'm not gonna go into too much detail here because it makes people quite uncomfortable, but I feel the need to elaborate a bit.
One big mistake a lot of writers make is drawing too much from personal experience and putting too much of themselves into their story and it's a mistake I make with every story I write as well.
Hibernaculum is tied to my weird relationship with my family, specifically my father and my brother but also my mother. It's a very easy thing to write about (for me at least) because most of this is far in the past and I've worked through a lot of it. I understand what happened, have an idea why these things happened, and I have a good idea of how things will continue to affect me in the future.
The Perfect Human Heart is tied to struggles I have had my whole life, struggles that haunt me right now and will probably continue to haunt me until I'm dead, but in ways and for reasons that I don't understand, can't predict and can't work through at all considering how my life is currently going. So sitting down and writing about a Furina who's plagued by familiar thoughts (for different reasons) became very personal and overwhelming very quickly and also became very taxing for me. It would probably take me years to get to a state where I could actually write for TPHH (specifically writing out Furina's thoughts and problems) without risking my own health like I have in the past few months. I could've probably predicted this, but oh well.
Thank you for giving me a piece of your mind. I appreciate it.
What really got me alongside the whole Natlan whitewashing bullshit was that one GGZ ad (idk if you knew this but the game still exists in china and I think japan?) with a bunch of little girls in bathing suits bending over, spreading their legs, covered in tentacles etc. Like... Hoyo sucks so much. And in so many different ways, too. It would be impressive if it wasn't so incredibly sad and upsetting. It also attracts very weird people, specifically the people who used to make fun of genshin players who now suddenly support genshin, hsr and especially zzz because hoyo isn't "woke", which makes online discussions about the games and any form of criticism aimed at hoyo as a company basically impossible. Being in fandoms at all right now is incredibly exhausting and kind of miserable and it takes the fun out of things (that's the one beautiful thing about the naruto fandom tbh. It doesn't change. No matter how much time passes, the discourse always stays the same as if it was cursed to be frozen in time in 2014).
I've never been great with the whole "separate the art from the artist" thing. Sometimes I can do it pretty well(ish) and sometimes I can't do it at all. I did a decent job at it after Sumeru released because I simply stopped spending money on genshin or any other hoyo game and focused on supporting artists who represented sumeru more accurately. Then, when I started to plan out TPHH, I swore that I would be one of the artists who worked hard to depict these countries more accurately by doing ny very best to research every country that is supposed to be represented in these nations as much as possible. And that also worked for a bit, but it didn't really fix the underlying issue of me really beginning to resent hoyo. I already talked about this in my last answer, so I'm not going to repeat myself, but you know what I mean. Hoyo kept fucking things up and in the process of trying to fix it for tphh I realised how easy it can be to not fuck up completely and that made me resent the game more and more.
I think the whole "fanworks to some extent always means supporting the company/the artist" thing that is buried in my head and haunts every piece of fanwork that I post comes from JKR and the way she has talked about harry potter fans and how she sees them now, but it's also more complicated than that. It has to be because Kishimoto isn't a great person either, but I haven't axed Hibernaculum yet. Maybe I'm just a giant hypocrite idk.
I used to be really active in the fandom as well and I really wanted to interact more with artists and fan accounts (I used to look at neuvifuri fanart to motivate myself to write) but I never ended up doing it (because I don't know how to talk to people but also somehow talk way too much, as you can see). It's a nice space, and I miss how much fun everyone was having when they came up with theories between 4.0 and 4.2. It was a cool space. I really loved those long threads people were making on Twitter about furinas lore and where it might go. It was fun. I haven't really interacted much with the fandom since I axed TPHH but the few things I've seen make it seem like the fandom really cooled down a lot, probably because hoyos repeated fuck ups put everyone in a weird mood and that's just really sad to see (and obviously because Fontaine is no longer the main focus right now because I think the natlan patch is out now? Idk I haven't played in months either).
The small details were honestly my favourite parts to write in this fic. Talking about how languages change and develop and how Furina still speaks a lot of languages that have died out (or are currently in the process of dying out because standart teyvat is getting more and more popular in pretty much all of the nations, pushing the languages there out of the way) or have become almost unrecognizable in the last 500 years as an example was really fun. People always talk about how Furina is 500 years old, but they never talk about how much things change in 5 centuries. Yes, she is/was one of the youngest archons (probably, I don't think we ever found out how old she actually is if you count human years + oceanid years), but 500 years is so much fucking time. So many things that you'd think are eternal will crumble in that time, and so many things that you thought will crumble stay untouched. Skincare formulas change for the worse, clothing, hairstyles, makeup, and even furniture go in and out of fashion, city layouts shift, houses collapse, etc. The world Furina saw when she was first brought into that world is in a lot of ways entirely different than the world she lives in now and I kind of wish people focused on this stuff more so I tried my best to implement that to the best of my abilities. Also the differences in culture in different countries and regions is one of the most interesting things about travelling so writing about it was genuinely awesome. What foods are more popular in different nations and regions (I think I mentioned that the people of Fontaine eat a lot more fish than as an example Liyue? I'm not sure) and other cultural differences like Liyue producing better skin care than Fontaine was such a fun thing to come up with and something that I did in an attempt to breathe a bit more life into the world, so to hear that that worked makes me really happy.
The comment thing you mentioned is actually quite strange because I remember approving all comments, then going into settings to turn off comment moderation, saving it, and then going to orphan the fic. Like, I definitely remember doing that. I wanted to make sure that people could voice their frustrations without having to tell me directly because I know a lot of people aren't comfortable with talking to people directly like this. I *know* that I did that. Then again I also had to change the settings on Hibernaculum like three times because it kept changing it back to "only registered users can comment" even after I changed it to all users (and saved it! I save it every time I swear that's not the problem. I check this stuff obsessively!). Ao3 is really weird right now, at least for me, and I have no idea why.
How Neuvillette finds out is actually kind of a complicated story point (because everything I write is kind of complicated for some reason), but I'll try to keep it short:
First thing you need to know is that Neuvillette wanted to give Furina a Vision (like a month after the flood while she was rotting away in her house) and planned to use that vision as a reason/excuse to visit her (because he thought she didn't want to see him but if he was there to give her something like a vision she would *have* to open her door, right?). However, no matter how much Neuvillette tried, he couldn't manifest a vision for her. He could make one for other people and they work well too, but he couldn't do it for her (he thinks it's some punishment from the heavens or something and tries to do research in the whole thing but it's actually because having a wish/an ambition is what makes the creation of a vision possible and Furina at that point wishes for nothing at all, so she literally doesn't have that spark that would tie the vision to her and make it uniquely hers, which is why Neuvillette can't make her one.)
The second thing to know is that Furina is getting sicker and sicker the further she gets away from Fontaine. Baizhu has no idea why and she starts living and helping out at the apothecary until Zhongi recommends that she should meditate close to the water, like a lake or the ocean or something, because that might improve at least her mental state (he's full of shit, he knows that she used to be an oceanid and that oceanids get sick for a while when they distance themselves from fontaines waters and remembers that hanging out around water used to help with the symptoms of her illness before she ascended. He simply assumes that that illness stayed with her even after she was turned human). She listens to him and starts to read and meditate close by the harbour to enjoy the ocean. One day, when she meditates, she tries to really centre herself and connect to the world and find inner peace and ends up actually connecting to the waters in Liyue.
I kind of romanticised/imagined the powers oceanids have as something divorced from the power of the sovereign in a way. That they have an extra spark of something in them, something unique stemming from egeria or from the shade of life, which makes them an independent force that can't be controlled by the Hydro Archon or by neuvillette (kind of as an explanation for why furina didn't order them to come back/couldn't order them to return when they rebelled/left while she was still pretending to be a little dramatic tyrant archon). That means that Furina had her own powers before she split herself and created a human vessel, and her tapping back into them despite officially being human would show that she still has that spark from her mother in her even though she's now human. Like a "despite everything it's still you" moment, even if she doesn't understand it as that in that moment (because she doesn't really understand what's happening at all due to her missing memories).
Neuvillette would feel that moment when she connects to the waters for the first time in several centuries, and while he wouldn't be able to tell where she is in the world he'd know that she felt too distant to be in fontaine (and because this fic was planned before the lantern rite he also wouldn't be able to leave fontaine because thats what a lot of people assumed before that because his presence was keeping ousia and pneuma stable, but oh well). The little spark of Furinas presence in the waters of teyvat would flicker back out (because she simply wouldn't be strong enough at that moment to hold it for longer than a few seconds and she'd be scared that she's capable of making that type of connection in the first place) and Neuvillette would go to Furinas house to check if she's really gone because he can't believe it. He would find both Chlorinde and Wriothesley there who both took vacation from their jobs because "the effects of the flood finally caught up to them too and they need a break" and he finds out that both of them believe that Furina got kidnapped or murdered by the fatui because they found evidence that she had contact to dilucs anti fatui spy network and sent him info that her own spy network collected (you know, the one that canon kind of forgot about after mentioning it once at the start of the game) and that shes been gone for like... a while now. Neuvillette realises that Furina connection didn't feel like the way humans with visions connect to the waters of Teyvat (and remembers that he also never managed to give her one anyways) and freaks out because something odd is clearly happening to furina, she might be kidnapped or something, she's too far away for him to find and protect her or help her in any way, and he can't leave to track her down either. She's unreachable for him and possibly suffering (she's kind of freaked out sitting at the harbour and trying to connect to the waters again but doesn't quite manage it) and he's powerless to stop any of it despite reclaiming his sovereignty. And then he proceeds to have like... ten panic attacks at the same time and Wriothesleys prophecy comes true and it floods fontaine again (not as bad as the actual big flood obviously but like basements are filling up, the aquabuses are unusable etc).
That's how he finds out. Through Furina making progress in her quest of finding out who she is. It is a very Furina-centric fic, so it was important to me that Furina made these steps on her own while Neuvillette is forced to stay still and let her do these things, only able to provide minimal support and hope that after her journey is over she will find her way back home while working through what he feels for Furina (obviously fondness and romance) and how that differs from what other people like Chlorinde feel for her (familial love for someone who is somehow a sister, a mother, a grandmother but also a(n ex) god at the same time).
I honestly doubt that I'll ever get over my insecurities concerning my own writing, but I'll try my best, I promise. Also, never apologise for big walls of text. Really, I should be the one apologising for this absolute monster of a response. I'm incredibly thankful for your words and that you chose to share them with me, so please don't feel bad about this. It makes me really happy to hear from others. Thank you, seriously, for taking time out of your day to share these thoughts with me.
Omg I'm seeing it now it does look like 27 the the real moon I never noticed that! 💀 😭

Upload New Fanfic for Emi's fans in AO3!!
Tumblr media
as what I have been promise for, I will make a new fanfic which take the event after vol 21 ended! But like i said, this fanfic wasn't for maouemi fans cuz even though there will be maouemi scene at it, the story really not made for someone who want see Emi ended with Maou (because this fic was taken after vol 21, and you know how I hate Maou vol 21 version, even Alas=ramus dislike him in that vol, so...yeah). Thus fanfic just dedicated for Emi's fans who didn't like with the ending where Emi and Alas-ramus doesn't get their happiness in the real series, or if you want to see Chiho suffer and Maou jealous. And, this fanfic will also bring a problem between Shepira Earth and Shepira Ente Isla as the plot.
If you guys still interested with this fanfic, you guys could read about the characters and the summary for this fic below of ‘keep reading’ first! Or you can just click the link here if you want to read this fanfic immediately! Enjoy!
https://www.archiveofourown.org/works/26650105/chapters/64991062
Summary
Coinciding when vol 21 ended, Emi's daily life with her daughter, Alas=ramus, become a little different after Alas=ramus entered her first class as Kindergarten Student! The Yesod, who saw a loneliness in her Mama's eyes tried to fill the emptiness in her mother's heart.
However, the presence of a stranger who turns out to be related to their real identity appears! Is it their enemy? Or is it their friend?

Will the child succeed in completing her mission to make her Mama happy? When the person who Alas=ramus thought would never interfere, instead become a great opponent she had to deal with!
This is the story about how The Hero and her daughter could find their own happiness and justice!!
Characters Introduction
(please not, I wasn’t the original illustration for this fanart, so if you find the face is similar with a certain character that because I took it from pinterest then I photoshop, edited, colored, and remake it so it looks like character which I want.)
Main Female Character:
Tumblr media
Emi Yusa: 23 years old in Japan (21 years old in real)
Gender: Female
Race: Half Angel Half human
Power: Having Daath, and Yesod within her power and become the strongest human in universe (according to Daath)
Job: Currently a share holder of Café with Sadao Maou
Living: In Apartment Villa Sasazuka with her children
Personality: always on guard with people she hasn't known for too long yet.  Warm and caring to those she cared about, but sometimes strict if that comes for her children benefits.  Always thinking about other people rather than herself (I honestly confused if I should put this in weakness or not). Have a strong responsibility to protect and consider everyone feelings or safety. It's hard to showing her real feelings to someone, because of that she often referred to as a tsundere type.  Due to the strict and tough past, combined with all the responsibilities she now bears, it made Emi look more a lady and more mature compared to other normal girls of the same age as her.  Have a high sense of justice and are always wise in certain circumstances.
Weaknesses: have emotions that sometimes change and are weak.  Even though Emi herself often hides it.  Because she has been a Hero since she was a child, Emi can't act selfish at all (one of her personality which I honestly dislike from her) Very weak to romantic things because of that, she often blushes easily
Like: Rillakkuma and Alas=ramus
Dislike: illogical things, and when people do something injustice
Main Male Character
Tumblr media
Timmy Goldman (in Japanese, can be written as Timi and I will use this version in the story as well): 26 Years old (*I put a wrong number in his picture tho lol
Gender: Male
Race: Second Generation Shepira Earth of Kether
Power: Have a similar ability with Kether (his father) but weaker compared with him.  His eyes will glow if he activates his power, and sometimes he will also emit a mist around him like Amane, but the difference is that Amane has a black mist, Timi has a golden mist. (I will leave his power just like this, until we reach a certain chapter)
Job: running a marine ship family business in Hawaii and America (description from vol 12)
Living: even though he comes from a rich family, he does not have a permanent home because he is always busy with work (and since he found it was unnecessary to have home) But he has apartments in various cities and countries, and will occasionally visit his father's villa on holidays in Hawaii or if it was an orders.
Personality: never shows his original expression.  He only often uses his smile on his face.  Manipulative and good at negotiating.  Even though he is always smiling, but he has a cold aura and is difficult to approach. he always easy to approaching women, because of his sweet and calm demeanor, but until now he have never considered in any relationship.  Although he often hides it, Timmy often misses his mother who died.  Very protective when it concerns the feelings of any children. He got the nickname Manipulative Prince in his company and between Shepira Earth Family because of his calm and cool characteristic like a prince, but still expertly able to tease the other or play with people's feelings without destroying his cool image.
Weaknesses: Dislikes mistakes. and is sometimes too serious in the job or task given.  Just treating emotions or feelings as one of the tools that can be used or manipulated, that's why never considering other feelings if that will lead into some mistake or if that unnecessary.  (I already write his dark past as well regarding this, but we will get it on certain chapter in the future)
Like: Coffe, and following the schedule.
Dislike: Mistakes. But he hates people who selfish the most.
Mentioned in Vol 12
Second Main Male Character
Sadao Maou: 24 years old in Japan (Um, since he became a human, does anyone know whether he should be branded as a newborn or what?)
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Power:…Uh, let's call he have a strength and spirit compared with the other guy.
Job: CEO at his Café with Emi
Personality: when it comes to his own feelings he always quiet.  Always try his best to fulfill his obligations in matters of his child.  Hard worker.  Does not like something that is not logical, still does not really understand things about romantic affair.
Weaknesses: Cannot act decisively.  Sometimes hesitant to make decisions.  If something is useless or of no urgency, he will delay the job.  Bad at managing money.
Like: Movie, and All food which tasty
Dislike: Illogical things and debt
Main Support Character
Alas=Ramus: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Race: Shepira Yesod from Ente Isla
Power: Having an ability and strength as a Yesod
Study: Currently at Yochien (Kindergarten) first year
Personality: Always smiling and cheerful.  Very fond to her family especially her mother.  She can be very protective when it comes to her mother and sometimes understands adult feelings better and is always honest with everyone.  Enjoy discovering and doing new things.  Want to be a hero like Emi.
Weakness: when it comes to her mother, she can be very protective and even attack anyone who hurts her mother's feelings.  Sometimes it's still too innocent and speak out frankly.  Still unable to manage the malfunction she has because she lives outside Ente Isla
Like: Rillakkuma, courn soup, and her Mama
Dislike: Everything or everyone who hurt her family.
Other Support Character
Tumblr media
Goldman: 48/50 years (100 years in fact)
Gender: Male
Race: Kether from earth (Timi's father)
Power: as the first shepira who is nicknamed by The Crown; which therefore refers to things that are above the mind's abilities of comprehension, Kether is able to read, control and manipulate thoughts, even the minds of other shepiras.  as the highest Sefirah, is situated about the intellectual triad and is designated as “superconscious.” Keter is infinite source, a state of being, the field of possibility. It is the ultimate unseen reality, that's why can created any type of barrier (like Sariel, Geburah, or even Angel). Color gold represents purification, conductivity and malleability.  Can easily moving around the world or to make a gate. also have an ability to change his appearance.
Job: Running and leader of the Shepira Company family  on Earth
Personality:He can be really quiet or can be so expressive.  He is never serious in responding to a problem, unless he really need to do so.  Can easily read other people's attitudes.  Rarely uses his strength for a battle.  Can be very affectionate if he see cute animals or baby.  Very fond and protective to his shepira family
Weaknesses: will not hesitate to kill if it is needed without feeling guilty if there are enemies who harm the family or especially his son.  Never differentiate between good or evil plans.  For him all ways to accomplish the goals are the same.
Mentioned in vol 12
Other Support Character
Tumblr media
Yamanaka Kozo = 55 years
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Power: Martial arts, swordsmen, and very strong.
Personality: flat and smart in making decisions.  He rarely speaks but is very wise and good at reading the situation.  Knowing the existence of shepira on earth.  One of the confidants and even the entire Shepira family
Job: Timi's right hand man.  Has been a butler to his young master when Timi was just born
He was the only OC which I made lol
Other Support Character
Harianak: 28 Years (appeared in vol 12, I will make his illustration next time lol)
Gender: Male

Weaknesses: Always playing with women.
Mentioned in vol 12
Other Support Character
Amane: 32 years old
Gender: Female
Race: Second Generation of Shepira Binah from earth
Job: Running a beach family business
Power: Strong, can be compared with the other second generation of shepira. Dark Mist governs the energy of the underworld like a spirit (I'm not really sure about this tbh, I will check it later on vol 4)
Living: Now live and take control of Shepira from Ente Isla at Mikitti's aunt's house
Personality: always ignorant and likes to tease Timi. Childhood friend of Harianak and Tim.  Easygoing.  Very affectionate and protective of Shepira's family and friends
Weaknesses: If lazy or find it unnecessary, then Amane won't do anything.
The other character from this series will appear as well, such like Suzuno, Urushihara, Gabriel, Chiho, Ignora, and as well as other shepira from earth and Ente Isla. I will update it if i find how their illustration would be. But because this is important for the stories, I will also put the explanation regarding Shepira (Which I got it from internet of course)
Shepira from The Tree of Life
1 Keter (Earth=Goldman, Ente Isla= Not Born yet) is Crown, as the highest Sefirah, is situated about the intellectual triad and is designated as “superconscious.” Keter is infinite source, a state of being, the field of possibility. It is the ultimate unseen reality. Color gold represents purification, conductivity and malleability.
2  Chochmah (Earth= Harianak's father, Ente Isla= Not born yet) is Wisdom: the seed of an idea, insight, inspiration, intuition, inchoate awareness. Color blue-black represents emergence of something from no-thing.
3 Binah (Amane's father, Ente Isla= Not born yet) is Understanding: fleshing out an idea, formulating the story, fashioning the structure. Color dark red represents the “something” congealing.
4 Chesed  (Earth = Uncle George, Ente Isla = Just born) is Unbounded Love: expanding ideas, enlarging the circle, empathic concern. Color blue for flow (water).
5  Gevurah (Earth = already born, Ente Isla = Iron) is Strength of Boundaries: setting limits, saying no, seeking focus. Color red for definition (stop).
6  Tiferet (Earth = already born, Ente Isla = Not born yet?) is Beauty: harmonizing and holding opposing energies, having compassion. Color yellow radiates light.
7  Netzach (Earth = already born, Ente Isla = Not born yet?) is Victory: overcoming obstacles, orchestrating intention. Color green for power.
8  Hod is (Earth = already born, Ente Isla = Not born yet?) Surrender: acknowledging what is, accepting and giving way.  Color orange for restoration and hope.
9 Yesod (Earth = already born, Ente Isla = Alas Ramus and Acies) is Foundation: telling or twisting your truth, testing authenticity. Color purple for growth and renewal.
10 Malchut (Earth = already born, Ente Isla = Nuxe, and...I forgot) is Sovereignty the final, lowest Sefirah of the culmination of the flow from Keter through the Sefirot, from possible to actual. Malchut is what manifests or is expressed. Color brown for source-ground.
11 Da’at (Earth= Mikitti , Ente Isla = Utsushihara) is Knowing: integrating the idea, identifying with it, an intimate connection. Color gray for integration.
Okay, the reason why I put my fanfic on AO3, was because i want to add another illustration and picture within the story as to for reader can imagined the story better!

Note
shes not a nun but shes almost always portrayed in fanart and even fanfic as either pregnant or surrounded by her million kids or having sex with John, nothing else much, so usually there's not much personality attributed to her besides being religious and making kids. which is a shame tbh but totally understandable that some people dont see her for much more than that since even the fandom rarely tries to make her interesting
My comment "she's not a nun" was referred to every time I read people saying stuff like "it's impossible she was at a party omg 😖" as if she was completely excluded by everything concerning Queen and events. She was close friend with the other boys' wives/girlfriends (and Mary too), she has been on tour, she has been at parties more than once, with and -obviously- without photos and as much as we can't really say if she liked or loathed them (maybe wasn't eager to be at every party? She was very shady, Ok?) claiming things like "It's impossible she was at Freddie's party, that's too obscene! That dress is way too elegant/naked for her! Etc." As if she was a sort of nun, that's what I think is stupid. Honestly I don't think she'd be even so shocked at seeing ""obscenities"" at such parties tbh 😂😂😂 (my opinion tho, but really guys uhh)
Allow me to disagree on the fanfiction/fanart point because they're fictional medias and she's usually represented with a part of fictional personality/traits mostly because we don't have enough informations about her real self to write/draw a 100% accurate portay of her (that's why it's important to learn to divide fiction and reality and I keep repeating that) AND imho there's nothing bad into being represented as a mother of family and sweet simple person (that's most of what we know about her anyway AND THAT'S OK). As for the fandom "not trying to make her interesting" I almost agree bc I'd love to read more Queen wives portrayed better, but still I know many fics where she's a very interesting character.
I hope this made it clear.

Fandom Questions: #1, #14, #30, #42 Please and thank you!
1. What was the first fandom you got involved in?
Maybe...if we’re thinking of fanclubs...my mom signed me up for the Mary Kate and Ashley Mysteries books club when I was 10 lol.  I got all sorts of cards and stuff in the mail.
But when I got old enough to surf the internet myself, I liked looking up Card Captor Sakura-related stuff.
14. Go on, who are your BroTPs?
I like writing Naruto & Sasuke friendship, and Naruto & Shikamaru friendship.  I also enjoy writing Hinata & Sakura & Ino friendship.  I also love Team 7 and Team 8 fanart.
30. What inspires you to write?
Oh, same, other people’s fics, fanart, or personal experiences!  I get so inspired, I can’t finish any stories lol
42. List and link to 5 fanfiction authors who are amazing:
I’m just like repeating myself over and over for fanfic recs 😂 but I’ll list the fanfiction authors who are amazing to me!  In no particular order:
1. @bunny-hoodlum AO3 HERE - I love bunny’s FEARLESS character studies and descriptions.  Also her “Unless the World Were to End”s deep-dive into Tokyo life and unapologetic lean into Japanese culture made me think I could write, too.
2. @mmmbuttery AO3 HERE - This is a forever fave, her “Torch Song” and other historical/cultural AUs made me feel like fanfiction was something I could make personal.  (When you rarely see yourself represented in stories, those few you end up holding close to your heart)
3. @katarinahime AO3 HERE - Just, the topics?!  The sensitivity needed?!  Writing for the long-haul and not for the quick fix?!  The sexy Naru-dad?!  How can anyone even measure up?!
4. @szajnie AO3 HERE - Unless you’re you?!  And have the sexy, capable Hinata to back it up?!  And invested emotional depth and strong plot reasoning?!  (daaang even for crackships, you get me rooting for SasuHina wha- How do you- RIP Naruto)
5. agitosgirl ff.net - Unashamedly starting stories.  Never finishing them.  Writing the most 👀 tropes.  Yes, I was amazed, I was very inspired to start writing.  This is my role model for self-assuredness.
6. @chloelapomme AO3 HERE - There’s putting yourself out there, and then there’s doing it in another language😱  She’s written a story for EVERY SINGLE MONTH in nh2020, MULTI-CHAPTER, COMPLETED.  HOW DO YOU EVEN.  OKAY.  HOW.
Hmmmmmm yeah.  I have favorite stories of course from various different authors, and of course there are those NaruHina Big Name Fanfiction authors we all know of, but these are MY top amazing in terms of positive influences for me or the NaruHina fanfiction library in general.

It’s the end of Aro Week and I decided to throw caution to the wind and talk about something that can potentially be a polarizing topic. I’m putting it on read-more not only because of length but also because in 2020 this blog turns 10 years of age and I’ve learned to leave a window open for retreat when it comes to Opinions, so I don’t know how long I’ll dare to have this up.
This is going to be about the aroace experience, fandom, ships, representation, fanservice, amatonormativity, allosexual normativity and transformative fanwork.
So, basically, a minefield, so tread with care.
Since the dawn of fandom time, there has been an aspect of it that is known (nowadays) as transformative. There are studies, dissertations and essays about this, and most if not all agree on the fact that the portion of fandom that is transformative tends to belong to the less represented portion of it in the media they consume.
It’s mostly people whose identities are rarely represented those who tend to transform, making a space in their favorite pieces of media for themselves and others. That has, in tow, created a scene in which authors and content creators are born within fandom and get exposed to these types of content and reproduce them as well.
The cornerstone of transformative fandom, to the point of being one of the main organizational elements in fandom-driven platforms, are ships. And when someone mentions the word “ship”, it most often comes with the added non-said descriptive of “romantic” and “sexual” attached to it.
Now, like I said, a lot of those who are involved in transformative fandom tend to go for less represented types of identities, and heteronormativity tends to be questioned often. Sometimes, it is legitimately for representation purposes, sometimes it’s for objectifying reasons.
On the other hand, in the media-creating sphere, there is a thing known as “baiting”. This word is used when pieces of media hint towards non het relationships that end up not coming to fruition.
This issue has reached paragons of shamelessness with creators using fandom for their own purposes, like making a series win an award, getting renewed or gathering numbers in cons, to then turn against the same portion of fandom by banning transformative fandom from cons, meet and greets and having actors and crew members publicly shame fanfiction or fanart. It became serious shit.
This, in tow, brought another problem. Baiting (and what used to be considered “queer-coding”) started becoming an immediate red flag for people, a warning to whether getting engaged or not with a piece of media.
In the mostly legitimate pitchfork and torches march against baiting, canonically aroace characters were caught in the fire, and queerplatonic relationships suffered the price of not fitting in the amatonormative and allosexual normative space fandom created.
It’s a standard for fandom that one of the most necessary reasons for transformative work, for fanfiction mostly, is to make characters confess the love they never did confess on screen/page and, most often than not, fuck each other senseless as a sort of “necessary guarantee of their bond”. Consummation, if you will.
Statistically speaking, explicit fics tend to be much more popular than non explicit ones and romantic relationships are what move the main search engines of fanfic platforms.
Headcanon-wise, anyone can do what they want. If a character is interpreted one way or another, that’s not for anyone to police.
With aroace characters, though, it’s a bit tricky, because it’s incredibly rare the amount of times a character is explicitly in the spectrum, and any evidence you can gather, which isn’t outright hearing it, is a lack of something.
A lack that fandom interprets in another way.
You can have a character be sexually attracted and romantically attracted to another and have that be enough for an audience to understand their orientation, to an extent, but an aroace character seems to have to explicitly state it because the lack of romance or sex in their narratives will be interpreted by fandom as “incomplete”.
It’s more frequent for fandom to interpret a character who is not in a romantic or sexual relationship as “lacking” it and “fix” it in fic than for it to be headcanoned as aroace.
An adjacent issue happens with this and the old notion of “queer-coding”. Audiences tend to sometimes interpret that lack as the incapacity for a media creator to explicitly state that the character is homosexual.
The unintended consequence of years of coding, baiting and censorship of non het relationships in media was the invisibilization of relationships canonically in the aroace spectrum.
For example, the first reaction to Elsa from Frozen not having a romantic relationship in the movie was that she was an amatonormative and allosexual lesbian rather than somewhere in the aroace spectrum. Not that there aren’t a myriad of overlaying possibilities between the two things, but you get my point.
The lacking, the incompleteness that fandom most often sees in characters is filled in, most often than not, with gay romantic and sexual relationships, as a result of the years of queer-coding in media. You know, the good ol’ “if she doesn’t have a boyfriend, she must be a lesbian” stance. Fandom is, sometimes, like a family dinner with a 60+ year old uncle.
This is a problem because it creates, within fandom, instances of tug of war between two under-represented factions who both deserve the due representation and which sometimes, very often, overlay in the same people, who fall in both spectrums. It creates arguments and fights for one or other character between the two, as if they were mutually exclusive at all times.
I recently came across different levels of discourse and comments on two pieces of media for this reason, in two different sides.
One concerned Mackenzi Lee’s A Lady’s Guide To Petticoats & Piracy, in which the lead is aroace and there is a girl who is romantically attracted to her and there is a hint of a potential qp relationship. After reading it I found in some review spaces opinions that considered the author hadn’t “gone all the way” with it, as if it was “cop out” for a potential lesbian romance, taking into account that the first volume of the series was centered on an mlm relationship, which gave people certain expectations.
The opposite happened in the webcomic Go Get A Roomie, in which a female lead character who seemed to be aroace for years ended up in a romantic and sexual relationship with the protagonist and there isn’t so far much of a descriptive of where her identity lied to begin with, but with some meaningful conversations that seemed to imply the spectrum after having suffered trauma. And this can be perceived as a sort of “deception” and to the problematic notion of aroace-ness as a “treatable phase”.
Both stories are valid. Both roads towards self-discovery are valid. There isn’t an immediate denial of the spectrum for one or other possibility and both narratives are experiences that happen to people, even maybe the same people at different times in their lives.
But the two happen to include female relationships and boy are those underrepresented. Like I said, it isn’t that both things can’t overlay in a myriad of places, Lillian could be a demisexual demiromantic, for all I know, Sim could be homoromantic and asexual, we don’t know the specifics.
It’s likely and valid to have a gut reaction when you think you’re being represented and then you’re not entirely. And that’s understandable. But it’s a pity that we have tugs of war for scraps of representation.
So, on the one hand, with headcanons, we tend to get fandom fights, most often than not between underrepresented identities, because we’re fighting for the little there is, when in reality we should be uplifting each other...but anyway, moving on.
That’s all in the realm of interpretation, up until the moment the author makes the characters explicitly make choices and take action. That’s someone having a headcanon because of things the piece of media was doing and then having it proven right or wrong, or never having it proved at all.
The other thing, where it gets nasty, is when fandom “fixes” canonically aroace characters. This is also incredibly frequent, most often than not with mlm ships, or what fandom considers mlm ships.
One of the nastiest last year was the Good Omens debacle.
Neil stated that Aziraphale and Crowley weren’t “homosexual men” because they weren’t “men” and they weren’t sexual beings (the whole “making an effort” thing that explicit fic writers like to latch onto). Neil also said they love each other, however that wants to be interpreted, opening it up enough for it to be platonic or romantic or anything you want.
Fic writers have written more GO fics in the last year than ever probably, because of the show, and they’ve experimented with a lot of places of the spectrum. I’m not here to judge anyone because a GO fic was my favorite ace explicit fic I’ve read, so interpretations can be fascinating, I’m all here for them.
The problem arose when people (mostly cis het women) on social media (mostly twitter) started calling Neil a homophobe for not making them pretty much fuck on screen or explicitly state that they were fucking offscreen in canon.
That’s where we need to draw a line and reevaluate our life choices.
I can’t count the amount of posts, tweets and reactions I saw rejecting the possibility of Aziraphale and Crowley not being a) cis men and b) allosexual. The two things created a gutted reaction, to the point that you have to consider the nature and intended result of those comments and, in that case, who’s being an intolerant asshole.
There was a point in time in which fake woke rep discourse became the excuse for people to demand fanservice from creators, especially in the cis het women + mlm media overlay, and this is a problem. We need to separate the discourses, we need to figure out why we’re here and what we’re demanding.
Another similar example I saw recently, yet less overwhelming, was with Banana Fish and the queerplatonic relationship between Ash and Eiji in canon.
I came into BF later than most, but when I read the epilogue manga I found one of the earliest descriptions of a qp relationship I’ve seen, and there were a lot of interesting comments made by the author and other people interviewing her about why sex was never a part of their dynamic and how the bond they had was more of soulmates than romantic lovers and why it was meaningful all the same.
Still, even if the author doesn’t, Banana Fish is considered among the key “BL” animated series of the last few years, alongside stuff like Doukyuusei, Yuri On Ice, Given, etc. And fandom likes to “fix” that “lack of” situation often, apparently.
This case isn’t as feral as GO but it is, however, deceptive. Coming into BF I never would have guessed their relationship was to be qp because fandom let me believe it wasn’t.
And, in this case, the author explicitly stated that this was her intention, this was the story she wanted to tell, it wasn’t her adjusting to censorship or having to code her characters, it was, at heart, what we now can consider a qp relationship.
And, in all of these cases, in which there are aroace characters or relationships involved, or at least somewhere in the aro spectrum or the ace spectrum or both, there’s one main issue behind it: the lack of belief that relationships that aren’t romantic and sexual can be crucial.
That they can be storytelling worthy.
In media-creating and in fanwork-creating, it seems to be the norm to have an endgame romance, or at least for romance to be a key part of your content. It’s the expected box to tick for a fulfilling story, it seems, and the lack of it is the “problem” fandom likes to “fix” the most.
This is also mirrored in the platforms we use. There is a lack of possibility to tag qp relationships as something separated in ao3: the / is for romantic/sexual relationships and the & is for all-encompassing platonic relationships (described by the guidelines as family, teammates, friends, etc.). In order to write a qp relationship you have to tag it & as per guidelines but you have to add another descriptor because you’re not writing family or teammates, and in the case of fandom-polarizing ships, it can be a problem.
And all of this influences us as creators, to the point that it’s easier to write something we’ve never experienced, like romantic attraction, than it is to write without it, because we’ve heard the romantic stories all the time, we’ve grown up reading them, and we’ve learned that no kudos will come to your fic if you don’t have them in there, because it’s that / what’s gonna move the search engines towards your stuff.
Maybe, hopefully, with time and more media around us, we’ll learn different ways of exploring transformative fanwork. Maybe while knowing ourselves and others, we’ll start believing that a lack of romantic relationships doesn’t necessarily mean someone was “too much of a coward to not make these two explicitly x or y”.
Maybe we’ll learn to coexist because, after all, some of these things coexist within our own spectrums sometimes, and it’d be nice to see the capacity for us to not fight for the scraps of rep that media throws at us but be able to understand each other and ourselves enough to create the media that we need.

Sharing this, because it’s an interesting survey and was (from my amateur pov) respectfully and neutrally written. Of course it’s not a perfect cross-section of the fandom, but it’s interesting to see how the numbers fall, and I’m glad Remrom was included. (Fair warning to my followers: lovelylogans is on my Anti List for an antagonistic response she made several months ago. I had to share this as a link because I was unable to reblog the original post - I assume she has me blocked, which is fine. I am interacting with this post because the survey included Remrom, but I would recommend pro-shippers otherwise steer clear of her blog just to be safe. As always, I DO NOT condone sending hatemail or harassment to anyone, even antis. Leave her alone.)
In particular, I want to share the survey results with my followers because it throws into sharp relief why I feel the need to do what I do. Remus is both new and problematic as a character, and as you can see he tends to come in at the bottom of the “favorite” polls for both character-centric and pairings including him, as well as coming in at the top of “avoid” polls.
Of course, I wanna touch on Remrom coming in as the clear winner of the “specific romantic pairing that you avoid” question, with a whopping 600 (74.2%) of the 809 people clicking the box. The next “avoid” pairing is 241 (29.8%) for Intruality (Patton/Remus), which is so far behind Remrom it’s comical. I’m not gonna lie, looking at these numbers got me really depressed for a while, because... it’s big, y’know? It’s heavy. It’s impactful, to feel this massive force of attention actively avoiding and disliking your ship (and often judging and avoiding YOU, as a shipper). Six hundred people felt the need to point out anonymously that they can’t just “ignore/not care” the ship, but they specifically “avoid” it. They couldn’t scroll past, they had to click the box, and... yeah, that makes me sad. I firmly believe that Remrom is no worse than any other Sanders Sides ship combination, and it doesn’t seem fair that it has nearly triple the amount of disgusted fans as the other “avoided” ships. It makes me wistful for all the fic and fanart we don’t have because popular writers and artists won’t touch this ship for fear of losing followers, and it makes all the fanart and fanfic we DO have so much more valuable for being so rare.
Last but not least, my love goes out to the other 15 people who took the survey and said Remrom was their favorite ship - Thanks for standing up and representing us! *highfives* I am so, so proud of you.  💚

Tattoos
the following list is alphabetically ordered, not ordered by importance.
Name: 24601 size small.PNG Origin: Les Mis Meaning: I love Les Mis, but I also feel trapped. There is a burden that I carry and can never be rid of. I have suffered through years of suppression. This is my way of expressing it.
Name: amele hair size small.JPG Origin: A small doodle on my forearm during a rather boring math class Meaning: This squiggle captures the essence of Amele, whose hair is very distinct in a wavy sort of way. This indicates to the world just how much I love Amele, and how awesome Amele is. It also symbolizes how I carry them with me everywhere I go.
Name: amele sunglasses size small.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: Similar to the last entry, aviators are a large part of Amele's personality. They wear the sunglasses as both a defense mechanism and to look cool, similar to Crowley from Good Omens. They are rarely seen during a conflict without their sunglasses.
Name: angel wing for shoulder blade size large.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: This represents two things--Luna and Good Omens. Luna is an angel and is baby--hence this represents them well. Good Omens, as is relatively obvious, is about an angel and a demon who are essentially husbands. This was the first time I had been exposed to a media where the two main characters were portrayed by a male actor, and there are clear romantic indicators. "Somebody to Love" played in the background as the demon was looking for the angel. Seriously. It wasn't even subtle. Additionally, the angel wing on the shoulder blade looks sexy.
Name: ariel size small.png Origin: Disney Meaning: In senior year, (as you will soon see,) I played Ariel in my high school's production of the Little Mermaid. I enjoyed it immensely, and now just a little bit of Disney princess flair has been permanently lodged into my personality. It's sad, but true.
Name: athena owl size small.jpg Origin: Greek coin Meaning: As a child, I loved the Percy Jackson series, and definitely had a fiction-crush on Annabeth. Of course, I only wanted her to end up with Percy, but that's a complicated story for another time. She is the daughter of Athena, Goddess of Battle Strategy. She's awesome and really hot. Athena's owl, to me, not only represents the wisdom and courage that Athena represents, but the intelligence and bravery that Annabeth represent. Were those synonyms? Yeah, kind of. But the idea still stands.
Name: ballpoint pen need to get rid of shadow size medium.png Origin: Google images Meaning: Similar to the last entry--I love Percy Jackson. Read the books, no spoilers here. That being said, it's also an easy way to show that I'm a writer of both fanfic and original writing--seriously, who does serious writing work in crummy ballpoint pen?
Name: clarinet for ian sixe small.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: This image shows a treble clef with the long, straight part being a clarinet. My brother plays the clarinet, thus, this is a way to show my affection for him and to show what instrument he plays.
Name: dragon needs to be edited to it swirls around the arm size large.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: I was born year of the Dragon, additionally, I'm Chinese. Dragons are also just fucking sick. Not much needs to be said here--oh yeah, I also really like the tattoos that swirl around people's arms.
Name: f equals m a size small.PNG Origin: Screenshot of text Meaning: I'm a physics nerd. Oops.
Name: flying music notes size medium.png Origin: Google images Meaning: I love music, it's always been a big part of who I am. I've played piano for 14 years, I've sang for all my life. Also, it looks cool.
Name: ian's little piggy size small.png Origin: Google images Meaning: This little pig with a heart nose is freaking adorable. Also, my brother was born the year of the pig. He's small and piggy-like. It's funny and cute at the same time.
Name: jack of hearts but just the J and the heart size small.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: Luna requested this one. Also, I'm a Jack of All Trades, Master of None. Still Better Than A Master Of One.
Name: love pa size small.png Origin: Google images Meaning: It's the Philadelshia LOVE sculpture, but in rainbow. I'm from Philly, I'm gay, idk I feel like this one is self-explanatory?
Name: love size small.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: It's the word love in rainbow, with a heart instead of an O.
Name: mermaid size medium.jpeg Origin: Google images Meaning: I was on the swim team for many years, I'm a registered life guard, I was literally Ariel, and my hair is long as fuck. Also gay and mythical. I'm a mermaid.
Name: mischief managed size medium.png Origin: Harry Potter Meaning: Uhm. Duh? I like HP. Also, I consider myself Chaotic Neutral. Some friends would argue that I'm Chaotic Good, but what do they know?
Name: mulan needs to remove background maybe size medium.jpg Origin: Disney/fanart Meaning: Mulan is freaking awesome? Okay? She's great. She's so freaking cool. She's Chinese. She's a warrior. She's a Disney princess. She's just so awesome I can't even. Kick ass babe.
Name: one day more size small.PNG Origin: Les Mis Meaning: I was suicidal as a teen, still have the occasionally intrusive thought now. I'm better nowadays, but at one point it really was one day at a time. One Day More. Also, Les Mis reference! Good shit.
Name: or worse expelled need to cut off side a bit size small.PNG Origin: Harry Potter Meaning: Hermione is fucking great? She was canonically conventionally "ugly", a total know-it-all, and managed to kick fucking ASS because she was smart enough to do so? Yes, please. Also, I've always agreed with Hermione. Like, hit me with a truck? Aight. Ouch, but okay. Punch me in the face? Rude, but okay. Expel me? Fuck, just kill me. I'd literally rather die than to be without access to knowledge.
Name: pansexual dragon size medium but need to crop.png Origin: kaenith Tumblr (a blessing. this person is a BLESSING.) Meaning: golly gee i wonder what this means
Name: pansexual pride size medium.png Origin: Google images Meaning: hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Name: phoenix to be paired with dragon perhaps size large.jpg Origin: I tried to find the original artist for almost an hour. I can't find them. I'll have to list it as Google images even though it enrages me. This person--Pavel--signed their work, yet I still can't find them. I feel bad about it. Meaning: The phoenix has different meanings in different cultures. It symbolizes rebirth, the sun, fire, and the empress. I'm Chinese, yada yada yada. You got it at this point.
Name: piano keys heart size small.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: I played piano for 14 years. I love music. Duh?
Name: Plagg Cat Noir size small.png Origin: Miraculous Ladybug Meaning: I love Plagg! He is the kwami of destruction, the second kwami to exist. I really relate to him on a spiritual level. He's small, angry, and always tired. And he loves food. Can't get enough of it. I feel.
Name: riptide size medium.jpg Origin: Percy Jackson Meaning: it's his sworddddddddd swords are cool
Name: roses size medium.jpg Origin: Google images Meaning: My mom loves roses, and I ran a flower arranging business for a while. It was fun. Also, flower tattoos are great.
Name: slytherin crest size medium.png Origin: Harry Potter Meaning: I'm a Slytherin?
Name: spider gwen option two size small.png Origin: The Spider-Verse Meaning: She's? A female spiderman? But like? She kicks ass to the extreme? I'd die for her.
Name: spider gwen size small.png Origin: The Spider-Verse Meaning: hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh gay

Valentine Fandom Meme
I’m eternally late to the game since Valentine’s Day was a week and a half ago, but I saw this ask meme, and I couldn’t help myself. Since I never get asks, I’ve decided that I’m going to treat it like a meme on its own. Taken from courierhawk’s reblog; original questions from thevirdirthara. Also, apologies in advance. I use a mix of dub/sub names.
Yu-Gi-Oh
Your favorite non-canon ship?
Considering there’s only one, maybe two ACTUAL canon ships, just about any of my ships are valid, though there are slightly more canon ships if you look at the anime instead of the manga. That being said, Polar (MaiXJoey) is probably my favorite non-canon ship. I know, I know, age difference and it’s not present in the manga and blah blah blah, but I don’t care. I love Polar to death.
Is there a ship you didn’t like at first but ultimately started shipping?
Thorn (AnzuXYamiMarik) is a ship I never would’ve considered ever because I don’t ship Yami Marik with anyone, but one fic on fanfiction.net caught my attention, and my secret love for Thorn was born. Honestly, though, it has to be extremely specific circumstances for me to ship this—pretty much only if Yami Marik is human.
What is the rarest rare pair (that you ship)?
Probably Timid (SerenityXYugi). I’m not certain I’ve ever seen content for this ship anywhere. I’m surprised I even know its name. But if I think about it too long, it becomes super cute. A close tie might be Soft (SerenityXRyou) because it is also quite cute. I like cute things.
Name a popular ship you don’t get the appeal of.
Death (YamiMarikXRyou) and Puppy (SetoXJoey). As I said before, I can’t pair Yami Marik with anyone (except Anzu under special human circumstances), and even if I did, Ryou would be one of the last people I’d choose. Under certain circumstances, like years later when they’re both adults, I can maybe see Seto and Joey EVENTUALLY getting along, but as far as I’m concerned, Puppy is not a ship that would ever work. Just, no.
What is your most fluffy + happy ship?
With the power of fanfic, I can make any ship fluffy and happy. As far as pure canon is concerned, I don’t think one exists. So, with the power of my fanfic abilities, I declare that the fluffiest and happiest ship I have is Sibling (SerenityXMokuba). There might be a little angst in this relationship just because their brothers don’t get along, BUT! These two are precious fluffy babies.
What is your most angsty ship?
With the power of fanfic, I can make any ship angsty XD AUs are a particular specialty of mine in this case. Combining both canon with possible AUs, I’d have to say Manipula (AnzuXMarik) just because, canonically, there’s a lot of potential bad blood between them because of what Marik did to her and Joey and Yugi, and Marik’s not exactly a goody-two-shoes either.
A non-canon ship that should be canon?
Sibling because I consider Peach (AnzuXYugi) almost canon, and Sibling is almost the next best thing. I mean, I do ship her with Duke and Tristan, both of which are kinda canon if you look at the manga and anime respectively, but I love Sibling too much to ignore it in this question.
Your oldest ship; the one you’ve shipped for the longest time?
Peach was my first OTP in the YuGiOh franchise, and I still ship it to this day.
What ship represents the kind of relationship you’d love to have?
Peach again. I think the most important part of a romantic relationship is friendship. If you’re not besties with your significant other, then I don’t believe the relationship will work out as well. I want to be able to be myself around my significant other, and I want to be understood by them. I feel like Peach embodies this well.
Is there a ship that makes your skin crawl?
I have never been nor will ever be super comfortable with yaoi and yuri ships, but they’re not so bad as to make my skin crawl, but incest will forever make me sick, and so will pedophilia. NO THANK YOU.
What is a character you can only imagine in one particular ship?
Surprise, surprise, it’s Joey. Blame it on the lack of female characters available in YuGiOh, but I have only ever shipped him with Mai. The only way Joey gets any love in my writing/headcanons is if there are OCs involved, assuming he’s not already paired with Mai.
What is your favorite canon ship?
Rose (CeceliaXPegasus). I’m super sad that it ended so badly in canon because they are adorable, and one of my ultimate favorite YGO pairing fanarts is for this ship.
Name a ship that deserved more content.
Peach if only because I want to see them actually get together. I think that because friendship is a super focus of YuGiOh as a whole, we got a lot less romantic content than we otherwise might have liked, but that’s okay with me. That’s why fanfiction/fanart exists XD
Is there a ship you feel gets undeserved hate in fandom?
Depends on what corner of the fandom you’re in. I personally hate it when people hate on Anzu, no matter the ship she might be in, especially when they hate on her in favor of their yaoi pairings. That’s super unfair to Anzu as a character since she’s awesome and one of my favorite female characters of all time.
What is the first ship you had?
I already mentioned this in the oldest ship question, but I’ll say it again—Peach.
Is there a ship that made you realize something about yourself?
I don’t know if I can cite a specific ship, but shipping in YuGiOh is what made me realize that I like character/ship potential almost more than I like ships themselves, hence why I multiship. Because of this realization and multishipping in YuGiOh, I’ve been able to extend that to other fandoms, especially Harry Potter.
Is there a type of ship you always go for?
Depends on the situation. I’m a sucker for strong female characters who could be paired with lots of guys because I’m such a multishipper, and I love cute fluffy pairings. I do like ships with interesting conflict, but the fluffy ones always get me.
Is there a ship the writers have ruined for you?
Not that I can think of. I mean, almost no ships are canon in YuGiOh, so rather than “ruining” ships, it’s mostly just unknown for the various potential ships.
Is there a ship the fandom has ruined for you?
Not really. I already had my reasons for not shipping certain ships, and I’ve never been turned away from a ship I already shipped. I will say, though, that I wish people would tag their freakin’ ships so that I don’t have to see stuff on my dash that I don’t ship.
Have you ever created fan created content for a ship?
Yes. I’ve never drawn any of my YuGiOh ships, but I have written a couple oneshots for Peach and one for Polar. I’ve also referenced/included the following ships in stories focused on OC ships: Peach, Polar, Ardent (SerenityXTristan), Kiddy (RebeccaXMokuba), Half (MihoXRyou), Tie (MihoXTristan), Azure (AnzuXSeto), and Sedate (SerenityXMarik).
Favorite thing you’ve ever created for a ship?
Do children count? Or grandchildren? My YuGiOh OC story has an entire second and third generation to follow. I have children/grandchildren for the following ships: Peach, Polar, Ardent, Kiddy, and Half.
Is there a ship you’ll never admit you have?
No. I’m not ashamed of my ships. I admit that I don’t talk about some of them as much, but that doesn’t mean I don’t ship them or that I’m afraid to admit it.
Have you ever started shipping a ship because of the fans?
Yes. It wasn’t until fandom hit really hard in recent years that Sibling joined my roster of ships.
What is one scene you want to see happen for all your ships?
A proposal. Is that cliché? I don’t care XD
Is there a ship you wish you didn’t know existed?
Any incest ships. I don’t know why they exist or if there are people who ship them, but I wish they’d never been conceived (the ships, not the people).
Name a ship that ended like you wanted it to.
Considering both canon ships ended in death, I’m gonna say none of them. All my ships end nicely in my head.
Name a ship that deserved better in the end.
Rose and Mizu (KisaraXSeth). Both of these ships ended in tragedy, and it makes me so sad. I NEED THEM TO BE HAPPY.
Is there a character you have several ships for?
Oh yes. Many of them. I’m a multishipper XD I have Anzu in the most ships. My Anzu ships are Azure, Host (AnzuXRyou), Manipula, Peach, Persevere (AnzuXDuke), Thorn, and Vex (AnzuXYamiBakura).
What is the ship you ignore 98% of canon for?
I don’t ignore canon, I bend canon *coughAUISMYFRIENDcough* Okay, okay, maybe my two Miho pairings, Half and Tie. Not much info is given in the manga except that Tristan/Honda has a crush on her and that she’s kinda shy, and she doesn’t exist in DM. I ignore season 0 super hardcore when it comes to Miho. To be perfectly honest, she almost feels more like an OC most days.
Is there a ship you like but you dislike the fandom?
Not really. It’s usually the other way around ’cause I love my YuGiOh friends, but most of them ship stuff I don’t.
If you’re curious about the bajillion other ships I ship that I haven’t mentioned, or if you’re wondering what het ships I don’t ship (since I’ve already ruled out all yaoi, yuri, and incest), or if you want to rant about ships we share, feel free to drop me an ask! I enjoy talking about my ships~
