It’s so bizarre that I don’t qualify as “poor” and therefore deserve no benefits because I have a smartphone and a roof over my head but me and my cats have been starving for a week because both our foods went up unexpectedly, the USD went down all January and we can’t pay for it.

#fern is speaking #same with disability #I’m never disabled enough #I dunno Nancy maybe almost passing out from just lifting my cat or being bed bound for days due to my scoliosis could qualify?!#for the record we still don’t know why I almost pass out when I do something that requires a bit of effort #and it’s not “lack of exercise #I literally had suspend my exercise routine because I’d get so light headed I’d start to see static #and all I really did was gentle warm ups and stretches for bed ridden and elderly people #gotta love the human body #even breathing sometimes over exerts me
